Third Title in Lesbian Game Series ‘Flowers’ Releases July 30

On July 15,   JAST USA announced that the long-awaited English version of the third game in Innocent Grey’s Yuri visual novel series, Flowers will be released for PC on July 30. The game, Entitled Flowers -Le volume sur automne-, was initially released for PC in Japanese in 2016.

JAST describes the game:

As the summer heat fades, Suoh Shirahane is just one step away from unraveling the mystery of why her beloved Amitie partner left in the spring.

Yuzuriha Yatsushiro, president of the school’s Council of Nicaea, knows the truth hidden within the school. The silver-haired beauty seeks to prevent Suoh from reaching it by giving her what seems like an impossible task—take over the role of president and she’ll hand over the key to what she desires. However, Yuzuriha is harboring her own secret, buried deep within herself…

As the leaves turn and strange incidents continue to plague the isolated Saint Angraecum Academy, interweaving threads of emotion tangle together in an intricate story of love and truth.

JAST USA announced in July 2018 that they would be localizing the visual novel. A limited edition version includes the game on DVD-ROM, two 3.5 inch tall acrylic figures with stands, three dual-sided laminated postcards showing illustrations and backgrounds from the game, and a Steam key.

Flowers is written by Shimizu Hatsumi and features artwork and character designs by Sugina Miki. The games include branching paths with multiple endings and voice acting by Mizusawa Kei, Nagatsuma Juri, Nishiguchi Yuka, and more.

The first two visual novels in the Flowers series, Le Volume sur Printemps and Le Volume sur Été are both published in English by JAST, and are available to purchase on Steam for PC.

The fourth and final game in the series, Flowers: Le Volume sur Hiver, was released in Japan in September 2017. JAST has not officially announced any plans to translate the final game.

Prototype will release Flowers: Four Seasons, a collection including visual novels Flowers: Le Volume sur Printemps, Flowers: Le Volume sur Ete, Flowers: Le Volume sur Automne, and Flowers: Le Volume sur Hiver for PlayStation 4 in spring 2019 in Japan, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

The PlayStation 4 versions of the visual novels will feature voice and background music quality enhancements, as well as full high-definition visuals.

Suou: “Is it wrong if I fall in love with a girl?”

Surrounded by immense walls in the middle of a forest, lies the prestigious all-girls school, Saint Angraecum Academy. It’s a school that prides itself on growing bright and cultured young women.

The school’s Amitié program is designed to help foster new friendships that will last a lifetime. This is why Suoh Shirahane, a painfully shy girl with a mysterious past, has enrolled. As her first year of high school begins, she is filled with hopes of a new life.

Follow her as she navigates her new friendships and attempts to unravel the many mysteries at the academy, including occult rituals and the mysterious disappearance of fellow students, all while trying to pass her classes.

As spring warms into summer, so does Suoh’s friendships until they too blossom into a love that is something more. More importantly, who will she choose?

This is the all-age sequel to FLOWERS -Le volume sur printemps-. In the season of first meetings, a girl with a wounded heart, Suou, found a friend and lover who would accept her. However, this friend and lover left the school without telling her the reason at the end of spring. Suou was in denial about her loss, and fellow bookworm Erika was gravely worried and looked for a way to heal Suou’s broken heart.

With the early arrival of summer, a girl named Chidori transferred into the school. She met Erika by accident when Erika was coming back to the dorm and told Erika that she was a coward for stalking her. It was the worst first meeting for the two who would end up becoming each other’s “Amitié.”

Shirahane Suou, resolved in her search for Mayuri — who went missing in spring — has gotten much closer to solving the mystery of her disappearance.

Declared Yatsushiro Yuzuriha to her junior pursuing the shadow of her lost lover. Yuzuriha, knowing the mysteries of the academy, tried to thrust a burdensome demand to make her give up on that idea, despite knowing her true intentions; however, Yatsushiro Yuzuriha, gazing at her junior who seeks the truth, has also been holding on to a secret that should never see the light of day…

A number of bizarre events arise in Saint Angraecum Academy during the season of autumn.

Unreciprocated feelings of childhood friends, awakenings of affections, and many threads of emotions are interwoven together.

A tale of love and truth entangled in complexity begins to unfold…

Challenged Suou after becoming the president of Council of Nicaea and overcoming the trials from Yatsushiro Yuzuriha. As promised, the name given was “The Seven Wonders of the Beginning of the End,” directly linking Kousaka Mayuri, her amity who disappeared in Spring.

A number of even more bizarre events arise in Saint Angraecum Academy during the season of Winter.

With the help of her friends, Shirahane Suou will stand up against many obstacles, but… the words she prayed to God, “Please forget about me,” still overwhelms her.

The reemergence of her step-mom’s shadow, passing thoughts, unexpected continuations… Just what will it all bring about to Suou?

The final wintry season will melt everything away…

In order to support me, she puts a hand on my stomach-no, she burst against my chest, making me recoil in surprise.

My Amitié partner is about to touch a sensitive area... My face goes red from embarrassment and my whole body starts to sweat.

Now taht she's mover closer I can smell her scent even more strongly, which only fuels my shame further and makes me sweat more.
