okay, here's the real question. can i wait to buy the online exclusive niall merch until after my birthday on the 12th as a birthday gift for myself (aka wait until the 15th when i get my paycheck) or do i buy sooner to guarantee that they don't sell out in my size like they did last time?

i got so excited about getting an email that my stamps have shipped

is this what being an adult is like?

#anyways gonna have stamps hopefully by thursday so i can send the rest of my things out #im getting two in the mail tomorrow as they are priority and rest when the stamps get here #..and that big one when i overcome social anxiety and take it to the post office to confirm how much it weights so i can ship it properly #which will hopefully be next weeks tuesday since im in town #but yeah! bracelets should be going out soon finally! i didnt get the last ones back after sending them so its a good sign!#tho its been almost a week and now im concerned where are they since i havent been told theyve arrived so...#need to remember international postage is slow ough #but yeah. all should be good at least. so excited to finally get things to people 💜💜💜#which means im motivated and inspired to make more soooo hopefully another shop update by friday. maybe sneak peeks early? 👀#and comms are open ofc if you want something specific 💜#okay no more ramble time i gotta eat and take care of few important things before i can sit down to make bracelets ough #night is an absolute mess on main

#bulletbilltime rambling #life is strange #paper mario ttyd #another one in the 'absolutely stupid ideas' pile that I am taking way too seriously #somehow not the weirdest nintendo property I've tried to put LiS in.#but yeah there's like... something darkly fascinating there #both properties feature a great calamity involving a storm #and imagining regular old max with no fighting abilities whatsoever using her powers to overcome stuff mario can just jump on #is deeply fascinating to me #it turns a lot of these conflicts into more cerebral ones #not even 'talk it out' but like... 'outsmart your opponent so they can be defeated without needing to attack'.#and imagining max coming into her own as she learns to outwit dragons and pirate ghosts and the like #I even imagined the intro sequence but it's rachel sweet-talking the shopkeep into letting her try to open the box #so she can then run off and pawn it off to get coins so she and chloe can leave rogueport #however since the shopkeep is a plant the x-nauts are immediately alerted and they catch up to her before she can find a pawn shop #so the peach segments are now peach and rachel trying to figure out how to get info down to the others.#chloe works as a mechanic on the excess express btw. it was the closest I could think to a car mechanic type job for her to have #max and chloe would find each other as max is heading to glitz pit #and then chloe immediately gets max to join her as a tag team duo to get the championship #taking advantage of her abilities to lay the smackdown on their enemies #ALSO MAX AND CHLOE ON FLAVIO'S SHIP??? HELLO THIS IS TOO PERFECT #chloe gets way too into it and seeks out a pirate outfit and goads max into getting one too #meanwhile goombella and the others are just sitting there looking at them like 'when are they gonna kiss'#(mario is conspicuously absent because peach never sent him the map)#(in this AU peach is chased down by the x-nauts before she can try to send it and ends up giving it to max as a desperate gambit)#(since them trying to take it from her means they probably want it for evil and from a quick interaction she can tell Max is a kind soul)#oh yeah also shadow queen causing a storm like the one in arcadia bay is a given #that's just... duh #anyway this crossover is stupid and insane and I am EXTREMELY invested in plotting out a story with it now #will I write it? fuck if I know. nanowrimo's right around the corner tho......

You and Simon had spent the better part of the morning indulging in the decadent breakfast you had prepared as the sun rose over the horizon.

He pleaded for you to stay in bed and not fuss about making him breakfast. He’d get you those bagels you loved from the shop down the road and some fresh cream cheese from the dairy to slap on top.

You leaned closer, placing a smack of a kiss on his cheek. “You deserve it, hon,” you smiled, slipping on your cozy slippers and one of Simon’s hoodies, happily making your way into the kitchen. He couldn’t help but sink into the mattress. How did he manage to find you? A divine blessing you were.

You thought you overdid it with all the food you made. Crepes, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, all to be washed down with some fresh-pressed juice from your orange trees—far too much for just the two of you. But Simon would be damned if he left even one piece of the crispy bacon uneaten.

“Good?” you asked with a smile, fiddling with a waffle on your plate as you watched Simon demolish his food.

“Damn good, baby. Got me such a pretty chef,” he muttered, biting some egg. You flashed him a smile, tipping your head towards him as you reached for the syrup, filling every hole on your waffle.

A comfortable silence fell over both of you. The occasional ‘clank’ of silverware and the soft hum of the heater kicking on were the only noises to be heard. The doorbell sharply rang, echoing off the walls of the hallway and bleeding into the kitchen.

You sat your fork down, easing your way up before Simon shooed you back down and placed your fork back in your hand. “Eat,” he mutters as he walks to the front door.

Simon swings open the front door to be met by the postman, who is staggering with excitement as he hands Simon a loose envelope. The postman tips his head slightly, viewing you inside, standing, and placing more bacon on Simon’s plate. Simon’s hoodie hit just below the curve of your ass, and as you moved, it shifted a little higher, giving him a view of your panties.

“I suggest you stop making looks at my wife, or I’ll do more than just kill that pretty pension check,” Simon says, ripping the envelope from the postman’s hand. The guy's eyes flick to Simon’s in record time, full of worry.

“I don’t know what—” he starts, his tone defensive.

“You think I’m an idiot?“ Simon stoically says, crossing his big arms over his chest. “Huh?”

“No—I, I,” The post guy stutters.

Simon raises a brow. “Can’t speak now?” The post guy says something incoherent, and Simon breathes impatiently.

“Use your fuckin’ words,” Simon hurriedly says.

“I—I you know what, I, I, I’m gonna go,” the post guy stammers, almost falling over the porch's front steps, flalling to his mail truck, but not before shouting, “The next shipping is on me.” You bet your ass it is.

Simon clenches his teeth as he closes the door, turning to see you standing behind him. “Baby, I think you scared him,” you laugh out. Simon reaches out, grasping your hand and pulling you closer. You yelp as Simon pulls you flush with his body, placing a kiss on the top of your head.

“Fuckin’ animal, that one,” he mutters into your hair.

Simon never really believed in coincidences. His brain was too methodical—calculated. It was something you learned from your long history together.

So, it was odd to hear him say to the police that it must have been a coincidence that the same day he gets into a scrabble with the postman, he goes missing and is then found dead in a lake with bruises covering his body.

It was definitely a coincidence.
