It's Day 19 of the 11th Pokémon Year Cycle, so we're celebrating Rattata!

been trying to keep minimal contact with them for a bit so they dont stress out too much ): i started referring to the littlest as Lucky since hes a shiny and because he needs all of it he can get tbh. worried about the siblings bullying him for his size or disability so i keep em separate when im not in the room. (One of them SCREAMS when I do this, lol, misses its sibling?)

hes still reeaaaal tiny compared to the others, but hes eating and not losing weight!! Progress!!!

of course I GOTTA take a picture of the rest to share!!!! (they need to get used to handling anyways)

as we can see here... these are DEFINITELY not wild Rattata, just look at their patterns and the albino. more and more certain these came from an unethically bred shiny project or perhaps some sort of pet mill. dude who dropped em off is lucky i didnt know

Got some Rattata pups in today. Dude claimed that his Glameow got a hold of the mother. Unfortunately, it seems one is missing a leg and a tail, though otherwise they seem alert. ... Extremely doubtful about that story though. If you look close at the one missing a limb you can see it slight shimmer affect, a shiny. I think I might've just gotten someone dropping off some unwanted products of shiny hunting :/ wonder if I can report him, but he didn't even give a name when he dropped them off.

Here's a picture of the littleuns, anyway. No way to tell them apart yet besides the shiny until they grow in their fur, I dunno what kinda colors and patterns we're gonna get!

I made them a little nest and they're currently warming up under a heat lamp.
