Hello there, I was wondering if we can get a part 2 of the alpha Kirishima x alpha Bakugo adopting to mega pup reader and the reader is meet most of their aunts and uncles?
Title: adoption part 2
Fandom: my hero academia
Pairing kirishima x Bakugo x male reader
Type: platonic fluff
Warnings: omegaverse, child reader
Notes: none
🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑
(Name) was an absolute precious little guy, always following one of his dad's when he could and trying to help in the best way he could with such little hands as the two adults tried to include him in their day to day, currently on maternity leave to acclimate (name) better.
"Yaaay! Good job!" Kirishima congratulated (name) as the babe put his plastic bowl in the dishwasher, (name) beaming at this and hugged his dad's neck for comfort "were getting ready to meet some people, they're your aunt's and uncles and are very excited to meet you" when their friends learned if their tiny pup they practically exploded with excitement, mina taking everything within herself to not bust down that door to see the pup.
(Name) held the Dynamite toy close, either that or an old sweater of Kirishimas that the babe saught comfort from, a quick Google search showed Omegan pups saught comfort from their parents items it was early stages of a familial bond settling in.
Bakugo was the one to collect the little one after his nap, the aunts and uncles sitting in the livingroom to meet him "hey squirt, it's time to wake up" they changed the crib to a toddler bed when (name) tried climbing out, the little one starfished with a cute pair of pajamas on "nnh" the boy grunted as Katsuki huffed and gently lifted him "come on you" the boy nuzzling into his dad's shirt as he was brought out to the livingroom "(name), can you say hi?" Katsuki was surprisingly soft with the pup who looked confused and face had marks from the sheets "awww he's so little!" Mina gushed as she stood up and (name) clung to his dad nervously "slowly mina, he's shy" Eijiro said watching his sons movements.
The itty bitty pup looked nervous as Katsuki spoke to him "this is your aunt, she's a bit annoying but she's not gonna hurt you"
Carefully he set (name) down, the boy fidgeting before running to his other dad for protection, the redhead holding his stuffed doll "awww he has a dynamite toy!" Ochaco cooed and they watched (name).
Eventually everyone began chatting and (name) grew more comfortable and began wandering around as he normally did as he noticed the snacks on the table, things the others brought "oh look he's staring at the (treat)" denki snicked as the babe reached out and grabbed a handful, little hands getting messy in the process "well at least he likes it" Momo said as the dad's looked at each other and Katsuki cleaned him up and Eijiro got the boy a small serving "so how's being a parent?" Iida asked as he sipped his tea, glancing at the pup "he keeps trying to make nests everywhere, we don't think he knows what he's doing though" Eijiro chuckled as he let (name) get comfortable in his lap.
Later on came his former teachers + Eri and Shinsou, the two tagging along.
Katsuki saw the two as his own parents, his real parents and him had.. a hard relationship.
His mom and him never got along and when he showed up with Eiji... That went bad fast, he was seventeen at that point.
He hadnt even graduated yet.
His dad loved him but being an Omega, he couldn't really go against his alphas word but did send letters to him in secret.
After that Aizawa stepped up, using his custody over Bakugo and taking care of him and by proxy so did Yamada, the men treating him like a son.
"Hi little listener" Yamada was soft with the pup as Aizawa looked at the two fondly, Eri chatting with kirishima about her classes and her plans to join U.A under recommendations by not one but multiple heroes.
"Oh? Thanks..." Shinsou was awkward around children and when (name) handed him a Cheeto he wasn't expecting it to be so...soggy "you don't gotta eat that, just walk to the kitchen and toss it" kirishima whispered and the other man nodded and did so.
"Hello there" little (name) reached to the black haired man who had the forethought to have his hair put up "you can smell I'm an Omega" Aizawa smiled softly as (name) sniffed his face and bounced slightly "omegas feel calm with other omegas" he explained "safety in numbers sort of deal"
(Name) smushed his face, a silly baby attempt at scenting "I think he thinks I'm apart of his pack"
"Well you are" Eri said simply and everyone smiled at the interaction.
"Minas gonna be pissed that he's getting this and she's not"
When everyone left, (name) was tuckered out "he sure enjoyed those snacks"
"He's so sleepy" kirishima gently traced the boys face "let's get him to bed yeah?"

shinsou dating present mic's daughter
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: hitoshi shinsou x fem!reader
tags: wholesome fluff, a bit suggestive, mentions of marriage/proposing, caught making out (by mic), friends to lovers, protective dad!mic, training alongside shinsou
Tumblr media
you were introduced to shinsou by present mic and aizawa, who had been training with the boy, after he voiced his desire to join the hero course
aizawa had been training with shinsou until now, but he wanted the kid to have someone from the hero course to train with, so you were introduced to him
shinsou was happy to have a partner his own age and someone who was closer to his own skill level to train with and he really wanted to learn all he could from you, especially about the hero course!
the two of you began to bond over your dreams to become heroes and you often talked about the hero course, fantasizing about how fun it would be like, if shinsou was in your class!
the two of you became friends fast and the romantic feelings followed soon after
aizawa and present mic were both happy that the two of you were such good friends, both unaware of your feelings for each other
eventually, shinsou and you began to go out on secret dates with each other, all under the disguise of being just friends
only when present mic walked in on you and shinsou kissing in your room did your little lie get revealed
shinsou was kicked out of the house immediately after your dad walked in on the two of you and you had to listen to an hour long lecture about staying safe around boys – in more than just one way…
while present mic was a bit upset about finding you make out with a boy in your room, he didn't hold a grudge against shinsou
he still trusted the kid and he believed that he'd make a good boyfriend for you!
though the next time he meets shinsou, he can't help but give him the "treat her right or they'll never find your body, kid!" speech
he's mostly joking though, but shinsou really does take him seriously–
present mic is very supportive of your relationship with shinsou and accepts him into the family right away
he'll even tell shinsou to call him "dad" or "his old man" and while shinsou does turn that offer down, he occasionally finds himself pressured into calling him that…
present mic treats shinsou like he's part of the family and he's the first one to suggest that shinsou asks for your hand in marriage after graduation, telling him to hurry up and put a ring on you, before another boy steals you away from him…

Shinsou Hitoshi x ballerina!reader Headcannons
Just headcannons really, fluff, not proofread
I honestly might just make mha boys x ballerina!reader a series
“Ballerina” implies fem! btw
(This y/n is largely based on my own story/journey with ballet)
It was maybe a week after the entrance exams, and Shinsou was feeling pretty down about himself. He’d dreamed for so long about proving himself in that exam, making it to the hero course, finally taking real steps toward that lofty goal of his.
He went to a cat cafe one afternoon, just to relax, get out of his own head for a bit. Everything was plush and comfortable inside. Cats were practically everywhere, but one seemed to be calling his name. A slim black cat with green eyes was directly across the room, lying on a couch next to someone his age. Not one to resist the urge to pet a cat, he walked over.
After a little bit of mutually petting the cat, she spoke up and introduced herself. They became friends that day, exchanging numbers when the reserved hour at the cafe was up.
Shinsou felt he could really relate to her. Her story was just like his, in so many ways. Over time he learned that that she was a ballet dancer, and very new to it as well. Most people start when they’re toddlers, and because of that she had a lot of catching up to do. Apparently, people had also told her to just give up, that it was too late for her to start dancing.
He started falling for her when they were sitting in a park, just chatting. She was telling him about a weekend intensive she had just done. It was for adult beginners, she was the only teen there. Some of them were experienced, some of them arthritic, some of them just as new to this as she was. They were learning a step across the floor, and everyone seemed to be getting it. Something about it was tripping her up, and she couldn’t seem to get it right. And as she felt the shame of having to walk while everyone else danced until she could join back in, as shitty as it felt, there was this burning part of her that still wanted to keep going, to get it right, to keep dancing.
“I don’t think I’ve ever wanted something so much.”
Shinsou was catching feelings after that. She was so passionate, so driven, just like him. Like a kindred spirit. He knew exactly what she was talking about, that burning in your chest that never lets you give up. Even after all that he went through, all that people said about his quirk, never once did he want to give up, never once did he lose sight of that goal of being a hero.
As similar as they were, there was one major difference. Both of them were in highly competitive worlds, and Shinsou recognized that. He was willing to outshine, surpass, or replace whoever he needed to. Friends were not a necessity to him on the road to being a hero. (Y/n) was quite the opposite. She saw no reason why she couldn’t be friends with the people around her. She wanted to learn from them, make connections. She wanted to belong.
People were actually quite kind to Shinsou in the hero course. Save for a couple of assholes, most were quite welcoming. Even then, his paranoia still kept him cold. He did eventually make friends, but majority of the time he was distant, preferring not to get close to his competition.
(Y/n) tried to be friends with the other dancers. Some of them were sweet, specifically the younger ones she was forced to dance with, being at a lower level. But the ones her age, the ones who already had their pointe shoes and had been dancing since they were three years old, they were mean. It was never outright, never overt, but the venom in their voices was undeniable. There was judgement, gatekeeping, eventual jealousy. She never really found that belonging. And still, that never stopped her from dancing. Shinsou admired that in her.
They trained together. Exercising together was quite common, though the movements were quite different. Shinsou just wanted to generally get stronger, while (y/n) was specifically focused on her core and lower body. Especially her feet. After they had been training together for a while, Shinsou started pulling her feet. She taught him exactly where to put his fingered and how to pull and then push down. On the other hand, she did everything she could to help him train. Often that just meant telling him that she would take him to a cat cafe if he finished the set.
Shinsou fell first. His pining was relaxed, he did exactly act on his newfound feelings and was able to keep things platonic. A little blushing here and there, but he was generally content in never expressing his feelings. They would go away eventually, he told himself. (Y/n) started falling when he was training for the sports festival. It wasn’t a click, but things began to fall into place. His voice made her heart flutter, his touch brought warmth to her cheeks. Was he being more physically affectionate, perhaps? He was certainly hugging her more—and she wasn’t complaining. Her feelings solidified when they were training together one afternoon. They were tired, it had been a long day, and his drive was fading a bit. But maybe he just needed a little push.
“Hey, if you get this set, we’ll get noodles after I’m done stretching.”
He smirked and looked up at her as a new wave of determination washed over him. It was like he was lifting no weight at all.
There was a spark in his eyes when he looked at her, one that sent electricity through her whole body.
She wasn’t one to hide her feelings, and decided that they would most likely stay friends if he didn’t reciprocate. She trusted their maturity, but decided to wait until after the sports festival.
She bought flowers for him and once it was over, she found him outside the building.
Long story short, he was flustered by the flowers and awkwardly accepted her confession, but all was well in the end. Hugs, kisses, they’re dating now :)
She got her pointe shoes around the same time Shinsou started training with Aizawa. There was a lot of joy between them around then. Tired bodies, exhausted from learning and practicing all the time, but absolutely ecstatic at the progress they and the other had made.
“I’m so proud of you!” Words said all the goddamn time between them.
(y/n) was particularly impressed with Shinsou’s ability with the scarf, especially considering its weight. Shinsou had become very familiar with her ability over their many training sessions. He noticed that maybe a week into her pointe training, her feet were getting notable stronger. Her relevé was higher and she was more stable on her box. It was the one of many physical manifestations of her progress.
Come winter, Shinsou was saddened to find out that he couldn't go see the nutcracker show. (Y/n) was in the mirliton corps, and she was so excited to finally perform. But Mr. Aizawa's a busy man, and Shinsou couldn't miss a single lesson, especially after the joint training battles. When he told her about it, guilt laden in his voice, she reassured him that she understood.
"Private lessons are important. Don't delay your training on my account, okay?"
He made sure to make it up to her though, surprising her with tickets to see the nutcracker from a professional company.
Also fun fact, next year, he brought the whole eraserfam to see her. He even brought flowers. She was now at in a different company, one that suited her better, and in the snow corps. She was placed kinda towards the back of the stage, but even when the spotlight was on the Snow Queen, he kept his eyes on her :)
“Those were the Italian fouettés you were telling me about, right?”
“Mhmm! I practiced them a lot, and I think I got it down.”
“They looked good.”
(Y/n) also became quite acquainted with the UA students. Even before they were dating, she would visit him in the dorms. The general studies students became rather familiar with her face.
Study dates, cuddle dates, napping together, dating Shinsou is so chill. A lot of the time, they just sit in silence, working on separate things, enjoying one another’s presence. With the occasional kiss of course.
(Y/n) met Aizawa too. It was brief, just a little introduction since Shinsou forgot his water bottle at her house and she stopped by to give it to him. After she left, Aizawa turned to Shinsou all like “that was the sweetest shit in the world, don’t you ever let her go.”
Aizawa has definitely interrupted cuddles in Shinsou’s dorm for night checks once or twice.

Okay, so now I’ve decided to add some headcannons for some of the characters. Most, if not all, are headcannons I’ve seen floating around the bnha fandom and not ones I’ve made up myself. Just some of my favorites I decided to add into my story.
These headcannons may or may not include spoilers for canon plot.
This story may or may not include spoilers for canon plot.
Read at your own risk.
These are headcannons I will be using in this story. I won’t share them all cause it will spoil some of the plot, but a basic idea/ concept for a few of the characters.
Of course these are not confirmed to be canon but I like them anyway. Things may or may not be added as I think or discover them as long as they pertain to the storyline.
It was mentioned before, but I’ll mention it again. Y/N is Non-Binary using They/Them pronouns. Afab and sometimes is still referred to as feminine phrases (an example: Mom is one of the words used.)
Izuku, Y/N, and Mina are black coded. Meaning they are black.
Y/N and Izuku are Japanese on their mother’s side and black on their dad’s.
Mina is black (whether you consider her full black or half, she is black. Her quirk just makes her skin pink)
Sero is Latin coded. Meaning he has Latin or Spanish roots.
During his time at UA, Shinsou was adopted by Aizawa. As was Eri. They all consider themselves a little family.
In this universe, Inko Midoriya did eventually learn about AFO and where it came from.
In this universe, Inko and All Might got married
In this universe Season 6 (Meta-Libration Army Arch) didn’t happen. That being said, events that happened in the manga/show directly related to said plot probably didn’t happen. to be honest, I’m not completely caught up with the anime and manga so I’m making things up as I go :)
Mirio did get his quirk back (one of the things from Season 6 that I’m keeping)
Of course Bakugo’s Hero name pick is staying canon.
Mirio joined Fatgum’s agency after Sir Nighteye’s death.
If you find yourself having any issues with any of these headcannons, I take no offense if you feel like this story isn’t for you.

Oh hey in your merman au can aizawa and the others understand the humans and vise versa or do they kinda have to mime things out like in that previous ask where you said hizashi gave eri prosthetic fins how exactly would he communicate that to her and aizawa without having aizawa rip his hands off for trying to touch her
It’s kind of like meeting a new, intelligent species and figuring out how to communicate with each other.
In my Au mer-people communicate mostly by high frequencies (like dolphins, whales) and body language. Their eye-sight is very good (at least the ones living close to the surface) and their voices very loud if they want to (like deaf cats crying for treats). Humans obviously aren’t made for clicks and whines and whistling (and constant screaming), so they can’t communicate like that. But only because we can’t understand them doesn't mean they are dumb - so there is some research about mer-people communication and behavior and how to get basic things across.
Most of that research depends heavily on the cooperation of the mer-person and they tend to be very closed off and shy. Also, a vast majority of the research has come from working with captive mer-people which is not really representative because of the different outcomes. (some mer only tried to get the treats at the end of the tests or actively sabotage the research by changing every answer - which pointed to high intelligence).
Izuku and his team is not the first to try and establish some kind of relationship with a wild mer, but they are one of the first to actually succeed in teaching Aizawa a way to communicate so they can understand each other. Aizawa is only interested in keeping the humans away from his place but Eri is very eager to learn and keeps asking to meet with Izuku and Mirio - they are so fun! And bright! So many pretty things to see and eat! You should try them!
And he cant say no, not when they proved themselves to be actually good and nice, Eri won’t let him get away with ‘these people are noisy and dangerous’ anymore. Especially when she sees him dunk Hizashi under the water all the time and only getting a spluttered complain in return.
Well, long story short, they basically settle for sign language and it takes a looong while for some cultural differences to make sense. But they manage and in the end Eri even tries to get her voice to squeak Izukus and Mirios name :’D
Izuku, gently holding a squeaking Eri under her arms while Hizashi straps her fins on, cries at the first “Izu, Izu, Izu” :’D

“how did you two meet?”
Tumblr media
ft. hitoshi shinsou
-
-you had transferred into UA at the start of your second year, and joined class 1A.
-Shinsou had just gotten switched into 1A, but he still had connections in the class and had people to talk to
-you on the other hand, being from another part of japan and moving to a new school, you didn’t know anyone
-the first day of school was awkward, from introducing yourself to the class to going back to the dorms at the end of the day
- it was weirdly isolating to not have the same friends as you did at your last school, and everyone else seemed rather close.
- but, you made very little attempts to talk to them, maybe just because you’re still adjusting to the new change of being at UA in Musutafu, instead of being at home with your friends in a completely different part of japan.
- The only time you actually interacted with someone was when Midoriya started to mumble about your quirk, and Uraraka had to drag him away and apologize.
-But, when you were put into pairs with Kaminari Denki, a bright loud blonde with a black streak, it opened up a weird door for you
- after you and him completed your (practice) mission in under 45 minutes he congratulated you and complimented your quirk, and your abilities
-you and him talked about your own quirks for a while, and went back and forth accepting compliments until he gave you his instagram so you could become better friends
-he kept talking to you even outside of school and the dorms so you quickly became friends with him, and eventually started hanging with his whole friend group, which (officially) introduced you to Hitoshi Shinsou.
- he was standoffish at first, and in the beginning you had very small conversations, but it was really just to fill an occasional awkward silence.
-When Christmas time came around, you all had a full two week break, where the dorms would still be open if you needed to stay there, or if you had no ambition to travel.
- you had stayed at the dorms for those two weeks along with Shinsou, Mina, Jirou and Kaminari ( although everyone except you and hitoshi were in and out of the dorms)
- so being there was no one else to train with, you asked shinsou to train with you since he’s been working along side Aizawa for some time
-and the session went really well, both of you had landed some cool moves and devastating hits to each other, you were both spent afterwards as you smiled and laughed back to the dorms
-you complimented his quirk, and his scarf, telling him that “that was probably the coolest shit i’ve ever seen.”
-He chuckled and then immediately covered his smile with his hands
-and that made you so interested in him, and yes romantically, but also interested in him as a person
-learning the way he talks, and his favorites and his dislikes, his absolute hates, and understanding his pasts and presents
- and so you start talking to him more, knocking on his door at random times to ask questions, and ask to do simple activities with him
-before everyone else comes back from break, you and him make 3 batches of cookies (just in case you and him ate too many) and as you do, you talk to him about your quirk, hoping to get him to open up ab his
-you tell him your weaknesses, and your strengths and what makes you break when you fight, and how the world around you can effect it
- he tells you little things about his quirk, like how he figured out how to activate it when he was younger, and his motivations to become a hero.
“I’m not really sure why i’ve always been interested in hero work” you confessed to him as you shaped cookie dough into balls and set them on the paper sheets. “I think it’s the people i can save.”
He nodded along to your words before speaking quietly, “i think i like hero work because i get to prove i’m not a villain.”
- this sentence broke your fuckin heart dude
-you tell him you’ve never even seen him as a villain, and there’s no way that that could ever change even if he fucked you over in the future.
- he smiled softly at you, before changing the subject, and although you didnt bring it up again, he thought about your words late at night for weeks until he confessed to you.
- which if im gonna be honest took a long time, but that was okay
-because throughout that time he learned your favorite music, and your favorite flowers, your shoe size and memorized all your orders, and learned why you hate that one month of the year, and your favorite textures of blankets, and favorite places to shop
-he wanted to understand you as a person as much as you did him, and he took his time with it, after personalized playlist after playlist, he understood you and made it clear to you that he would do everything in his power to be nothing but good to you.
𝘕𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘶𝘱: 𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘴𝘩𝘪 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘴!
an: i hope this is good :(

Shinsou x reader headcanons
You met at the sports festival
He was just staring at the class 1A (wich you are part of)
After he watched you fight your opponent he was mesmerised
Later on you two will probably talk when he gets the courage to sit with you during lunch
It would jus tbe randomly
And he would stare too, not asking anything
Until you spoke up "hi can i help you?"
And that's when he heard your voice for the first time
And he LOVED it
Would sit randomly at lunch with you and just ask you questions about the hero course
Wich you finded out he wanted to join
And you fully supported him
Wanting to swap the current purple boy for a new one
And that's how your friendship grow
You two eventually got closer when he started training with Aizawa
Showing you the new moves he learned and stuff
You showing him what you're learning in the hero course so he doesn't go behind you all
And he will probably tell Aizawa about you
But without mentioning your name
Aizawa figured it out himself when he saw you two after school talking
And he conforted him about him
Telling him to ask you out
And he did
And you said yes ofc
Author's note: sorry this is shitty but I just wanted to write something for shinsou

for the yandere platonic erasermic au, would the reader ever feel neglected when eri and shinso are there? like she used to do everything with her dads but now she sees them spending more time with eri doing different activities and sees aizawa busy training shinso. would she be upset that her dads are not spending as much time with her or happy that they are finally paying attention to other people?
I don't think reader would ever feel neglected because one way or the other, you would always be involved in said activities. Mic is doing Eri's hair? Sit down and learn because Eri wants you to do her hair and ngl, even Hizashi wouldn't mind you braiding up his hair. Aizawa is training Shinsou? Well come on along and sit on the side- you could get them some drinks and snacks, fetch the towels and bandages for them.
But lets say that you jokingly mentioned that you feel like they have no time for you. This is the biggest mistake you could ever make. They thought that you're a young girl who needs her space, but clearly they were wrong. You're gonna get coddled to the max. Not a moment goes when at least one of them is not breathing down your neck- your only moments alone are in the bathroom, where you go to so often that they begin to think that maybe you're ill or something, which eventually leads to more coddling.
Eri begins to sleep with you every night, saying that she's scared to sleep alone and you can't really say no to an abused child, can you?
And Shinsou begins to follow you around more when you go out, sticking to your side and warding off anyone who tries to approach you. If you're at home, he'd often be found sleeping with his head on your lap; he may even secretly use his quirk to make you compliant.
Hizashi begins to be even more talkative with you, and when you just nod and don't reply much (because you want the convo to end but dont want to be rude by abruptly leaving), he thinks that maybe you're just shy about your interests and then he starts to spend even more time with you. Even when you're doing nothing, he'll just plop down next to you and cuddle you, or make you help him in the kitchen by tasting his food.
Aizawa knows he's not the most physically affectionate person but he thought you knew he still cared about you. Why the hell would he put trackers in your phone and clothes then??? But apparently you feel neglected and Aizawa does not want that. So when you stiffen up when he begins to give you little headpats, he thinks that you're just not used to his affection. He thinks that you don't want to bother him when he calls you down to cuddle on the couch, so he uses his scarf to pull you down and hug you like you're a human burrito. It gets even weirder when he begins to talk, whispering soft compliments and cooing praises. Its not long before the other family members join you guys, making a bug cuddle pile and trapping you between them.

fic title: the girl with flowers in her bones
Izumi learns she has a Quirk age six when the weird bump on her shoulder is inspected by a doctor who cuts it open to reveal a pretty flower.
Said flower quickly changed and becomes deadly, nearly killing a nurse before it’s destroyed.
No one knows how it got there but now people know about it. At first Izumi is happy. She has a Quirk.
Then she isn’t.
“It’s a useless Quirk!” Kacchan taunts her. “Perfect for a useless girl like you! Flowers under the skin! Pathetic!”
Kacchan burns her shoulder and she goes home crying.
Later a flower develops where she’s been burned and after some quiet conversation with Inko about how her husband had left because of Izumi’s Quirkless status and Izumi had heard it, they figured it out.
The flowers bloom when someone hurts her. They bloom and the doctors do a scan revealing many more flowers all over her- some were small and no one could see them. Little hurts the doctors theorized.
They still had to be removed. Izumi has been getting slower, becoming more exhausted each day. It’s the flowers.
Izumi numbly lets it happen.
But it happens again. And again.
Flowers bloom because people keep hurting her. They turn deadly when exposed to the air.
“Freak, monster, liar-“ it’s all shouted at her by her class. Kacchan leads the charge.
His flowers are always an orange lily. Hatred.
Izumi wonders if it means him or her who hates the other. When it becomes a sweet pea, she has a feeling she knows why she is receiving a goodbye.
She stops growing flowers for him. Because she knows she will only get pain from him, because he is no longer one she believes to be a friend.
“The flowers are signs of betrayal,” she changes the classification. “I can only be hurt by those I do not think would hurt me, those I trust. Once I stop trusting or believing they will not hurt me the flowers stop.”
Her mother sobs upon hearing it. Inko then goes and terrifies the Bakugou family, promising that unless Kacchan leaves her alone Inko would go after them.
Kacchan doesn’t listen.
So Inko slaps them with a lawsuit she wins. It’s enough for Izumi to go to a new school where she sits quietly and doesn’t talk.
There people whisper still but it’s sad whispers.
“Her Quirk hurts her.”
“No, it’s people hurting her which sets off her Quirk.”
“She’s so quiet.”
Izumi just works. The only one she trusts is her mother. Inko who tries so hard not to hurt her, who is honest and open. Who gives her books on flowers and smiles.
When Inko hurts Izumi she leaves violets and lavender. And they’re always small, so small. Small hurts, being too honest with her daughter.
Izumi loves her mother for it.
Izumi grows and soon she finds herself applying for UA. She wants to be a hero and her mother frets and admits she isn’t sure if Izumi can do but the two have researched and researched and well, they think they can figure a way out. Sports festival- she just needs to beat all the other students.
She thinks she can. The money they won from the lawsuit had helped Izumi not only get into a new school but also got her into a martial arts studio. Her mother insisted.
Probably was upset with how many flowers Izumi grew from cuts and burns and bruises. Those were the bigger ones, when they were left on purpose. They pushed against the skin, looked strange.
Funny, Izumi noticed that she didn’t gain flowers sparring.
“It’s probably based on intention. When you gain flowers from bruises or cuts and they’re from people doing it to hurt you and betray you, they come as flowers. But when it’s done as a fight or a spar it’s on purpose still but it’s not a betrayal of yourself.” Her Quirk therapist theorizes.
It makes sense.
Izumi goes to UA after failing the entrance exam and ends up in 1C where she finds herself meeting a boy who is like her. Sharp and broken and hurt.
Shinsou is a friend and she finds herself chuckling at his comments.
Their friendship only blooms truly though when she meets Kacchan again. He sees her and attacks, screaming. She fights back. Shinsou speaks and stops Kacchan and Izumi looks at him, seeing something similar back.
The situation ends with Izumi in the principal’s office telling her story. She looks him in the eyes tiredly.
Kacchan is removed from UA- apparently, the lawsuit hadn’t been included in his application.
“It was when he was ten!” His mother tries.
“It still happened and you lied,” Nezu tells her. Izumi isn’t supposed to be there but she went to the office to pick up some papers.
She thinks her homeroom teacher arranged it.
“The papers are supposed to show us if we need to watch out students for anything. You lied on the application.”
Izumi doesn’t know what to think as she slides away. She hasn’t seen Kacchan in years. Hasn’t spoken to him.
Yet he still tried to attack her. He hasn’t learned anything.
Izumi has left him behind. The pain he caused ended any relationship between them.
He is a child. He can learn, if he wishes.
She feels as if she is choking when she runs into someone.
“Ah,” the person says and she blinks at a girl with red and white hair. It’s long and in a braid as she stares at Izumi. There’s a burn scar on her face and as Izumi looks into her eyes she sees the same sort of pain Izumi has.
The girl nods and leaves and Izumi stares after her in confusion.
Then she has to head to class and Shinsou and it’s a mess.
A flower blooms under her cheek as she speaks and she wonders if it’s from the shock someone attacked her at UA or it’s because she always hoped Kacchan would change the longer she left him.
“It’s not the same.” She tells Shinsou. “I was in hell until I was ten and then just isolated after.”
“It’s close,” Shinsou tells her. He touches her cheek and she closes her eyes. “It’s growing?”
“Yeah. It used to be orange lilies. It might be the same now.”
It is. It’s removed by Recovery Girl and Izumi breathes and doesn’t try to think.
She doesn’t know what to think about anything.
She thinks in a way that expelling him was to much. She understands that they lied, that they removed the evidence of the trial. But did they truly know that it counted?
Kacchan is a child and needs to learn things.
At the same time, he tried to attack her.
Her mind feels muddled and confused and Shinsou tries to help but it’s different for him. His bullies were cruel and never stopped and yet he never expected it either to stop.
You can only be betrayed by a friend.
He tries but they fight and eventually he yells that she’s worthless if she wishes to let a boy who hurts her back into UA.
She flinches and he does too.
Shinsou reaches for her but she leaves, feeling sick.
Izumi wanders UA campus after that- a week after the Kacchan incident- a week after the USJ got invaded. With Kacchan in the office the class hadn’t gone to USJ, something all of them expresses relief about.
Izumi wanders and then runs into the red and white girl again. She’s training in the gym that all students are allowed to Izumi wandered to it out of habit. Usually she and Shinsou train- Shinsou finally accepting that he needs to train his body.
He’s not with her though, and she feels her shoulder ache.
Shinsou didn’t mean it, he was angry and didn’t understand. Izumi gets it.
But it still was a hurt.
“... are you okay?” The girl asks and Izumi blinks, realizing she’s been standing in the gym staring off into space.
“I’m fine.” She says. “I got into a fight with my friend.” The girl looks at her and Izumi sighs.
“My Quirk lets me know when I’ve been hurt,” Izumi explains. “The hurts become flowers under my skin. Ever hurt, physical, emotional, mental, minor or major.” Izumi sighs.
“... you were the one Bakugou attacked, the reason we did not go to the USJ.,” The girl says calmly.
“We were friends once. He hurt me badly, and we stopped. He tried again, my mom sued him and his family and they didn’t put the trial in his transcripts. So he’s been expelled and I just… I feel bad for him. He’s hurt me but I cared for him once and is it fair that he was a child when this happened and he’s still himself a child?” Izumi sighs. “Sorry. I-“
“I have similar feelings to my brother and mother.” The girl offers. Her face is slightly blank. She looks at Izumi, cocking her head slightly. “My father is not a nice man and he’s only stopped hurting us due to blackmail my eldest brother has given. I’m under the custody of my second eldest brother. My other siblings were deemed unsuited and my mother is in a mental health institute.”
“Oh!” Izumi blinks. “You didn’t-“
“You told me.” The girl shrugs. “I’m Todoroki Shouto.”
“Midoriya Izumi.”
It’s the start of something.
From the hurt Shinsou dealt jasmine is dug from Izumi’s skin and he apologizes over and over again. She tells him it’s not okay but she understands he didn’t truly mean it.
It makes her sad still.
She and Todoroki meet from time to time in the gym, speaking. Sometimes Shinsou joins them, sometimes not. He wishes to keep his Quirk private, wishing to get into the hero course like Izumi wishes.
Todoroki is kind, Izumi finds. She’s standoffish and blunt but she’s kind.
Her story is a sad one, told over gym meetings. Her father is Endeavour and he wished to overcome All Might. He had children to force it, and the abuse he placed his family through broke her mother.
Todoroki loves her mother. She loves her dearly but cannot face her.
“I used to blame myself, thinking it might be my fault she burned me. Natsuo, my brother, he got me into therapy and I’ve learned it wasn’t. I was a child, it was not on me. And yet my mother is ill.” Todoroki explains. “I care deeply for her but… I can’t face her right now. Because I have learned it is not my fault what she did and I have to adjust.”
Her brother, her eldest brother Touya, is a different story.
“He blamed me for the abuse. Said it was all my fault, hated the fact I was a girl too. Kept going on I was a screw-up, that I was disgusting. He’s in therapy to now but… I don’t talk to him. Ever if I can help it. Natsuo says he’s getting better but he won’t make me do anything. My sister keeps trying to get us to forgive our dad. We don’t want to.” Todoroki tells her. “It’s a mess.”
Todoroki doesn’t know what to do herself. Her brother was young when he became angry, and her mother ill. Neither were fully at fault, and yet she struggles.
It’s nice to talk to someone who understands.
Their friendship grows and Izumi wonders why it feels different then from her and Shinsou.
Yet as she watches Todoroki smile, she thinks she knows.
At the sports festival, Izumi and Shinsou manage to get to the tournament. They manage to claw their way to the semi-finals, determining who will go on to compete for first.
Shinsou insults her, curses her. And then he confesses.
Izumi keeps her mouth shut and shoved him out, even as she feels the flowers begin to bloom.
She does tell him she doesn’t feel the same.
“I know,” Shinsou tells her. “It’s Todoroki. You two smile all the time around each other, you laugh and have fun.” He shrugs sadly. “I just wanted to be honest.
Izumi accepts it, and later she finds the flowers to be yellow tulips.
One-sided love.
Yet first comes the finals, where Izumi screams at Todoroki to use her fire, even as the girl refuses to use it.
“I won’t use his power!” She yells.
“It’s not his! It’s yours!” Izumi cries back.
It’s chaos and destruction and in the end, Izumi has a silver medal.
And she has a smile she treasures.
It’s not love, not yet. But it has a chance to be.
A chance they cultivate, a chance they find becoming stronger and stronger as time goes on. As she and Shinsou enter the hero course, as she fights to protect a boy she barely knows on the streets of Hosu, protecting her hero mentor as well.
It’s a chance she takes, kissing Todoroki after the final exams. Todoroki accidentally burns her in shock and feels horrible.
Izumi treasures the fact a red rose blooms under her skin.

(bursts in like the Kool-Aid Man) I HEARD YOU WANTED AIZAWA AND FATGUM PROMPTS! Ok but seriously I love the idea of either of them seeing their S/O being kind and parental to their "kids" (Shinsou, Eri, and all of 1-A for Aizawa; Kirishima and Tamaki for Fatgum) and having the sudden realization of "oh fuck I love them so much???? Do I want to marry them??? Raise kids together??? Shit I'm in too deep"
YES YEEEEEESSSSSS OOOOO this is very good I like this very much, in headcannon format but long as hell lmao LETS GOOOOOOOO
Yeesh the balance is off here lmao my love towards Aizawa is showing 🖤🙈
Warnings: soft Aizawa and Fatgum, they love you very much.
Tumblr media
- Both of you met while on a mission, standard villain holding hostages situation. You were in the business for a while at that point and were well known for your caring nature and acting motherly towards others.
- At that point he had a vague idea of who you were, but didn’t pay much attention until he found himself in trouble. He had been cornered by multiple villains and was in a tough situation that would be difficult to get out of alone. You noticed this while some of the villains attempted to cut off Aizawa’s arms.
- You jumped in with a shield protecting him as you used it to push back the villains and hold them while he wrapped them with his scarf. From then on he paid more attention to you.
- After the mission you asked him how he was doing and took notice of injuries he sustained and healed them. This led to a lengthy conversation and eventually you both talked more over dinner.
- That was around 4 years ago, Aizawa was still a teacher then, but because he expelled his students so often you never interacted with them much. So you can imagine how surprised you were when you came to greet him on a work day and saw a full classroom of students.
- Of course they all wondered who you were so you explained you were a Pro-Hero, but didn’t give any more details. Aizawa valued his privacy and you respected that.
- So that leads to you coming more and more to his class and helping him with the students when they get too rowdy, they’ve become somewhat of your kids if you were being honest.
- They would talk to you because Aizawa definitely wasn’t the best person to talk to about feelings, if dating him for 4 years has taught you anything it’s that his love language is physical touch and silent affection. He wouldn’t talk to you about your feelings but he will get you coffee at 3 am.
- It was another day where you decided to drop in to his class and see how they were doing with their training. As usual the class greeted you and you watched as they worked on their ultimate moves once again.
- Bakugou ever the walking time bomb, blew up boulders that headed towards the direction of Jirou and you went into action quicker than anyone else. Making a shield around her and holding back the debris as she looked in shock, as did everyone else.
- Moving the wreckage out of the way you immediately crouched down to Jirou and checked her for any injuries, after making sure she was fine you made your way to any other students that may be injured and helped them out.
- Aizawa was scolding Bakugou about being more careful with his quirk as he noticed you holding Kirishima’s face and softy healing some injuries from running through rock walls.
- His face softened before he hardened so that no other students would notice.
- ‘They would make a great parent— wait a minute.’
- Aizawa couldn’t believe his thoughts, he already had 21 kids, physically he probably couldn’t handle more.
- This didn’t stopped him from paying more attention to the way you interacted with the students, especially Todoroki. Lord knows he needed a parental figure in his life and you took that role with excitement, you would offer him advice and a place to stay if he didn’t want to be at home. You had a separate home from Aizawa in case you needed to lay low.
- You would also feed him and be there for him when he had mental breakdowns and just needed someone to care for him. You really helped him get out of his shell and talk more about the problems he faced.
- Once everyone moved to the dorms, it was necessary for the teachers to move in to a separate housing as well. Not with the students, but far enough away that they would still be there if there were emergencies.
- With that in mind, the students went to you more and more if they needed anything or just wanted to talk. This never stopped you from caring  for them and making meals for them, as well as just treating them like normal kids. Not heroes in training, not enhanced kids, just normal kids doing normal activities.
- The feelings grew more when he started training Shinsou, if possible you became more parental like and offering assistance and healing when needed. You still maintained a mentor-like responsibility but that didn’t stop you from taking Shinsou to get the necessary equipment with his parents permission and giving him meals to help him get stronger. He and Todoroki could often be seen trailing behind you like ducklings and doing whatever you needed or just sticking by you. The same went for the other students.
- They had their ways of coming to you for assistance and showing affection, you found it adorable, Aizawa found himself falling more and more in love with you and built his feelings towards you becoming an actual parent with him.
- Those same feelings grew tenfold once Eri came along, she became a daughter to you both, as much as Aizawa didn’t want to admit it.
- When she woke up panicking at night you both would take turns calming her down and you would often hum songs from Disney to help her go back to sleep.
- Aizawa’s thoughts delved deeper and deeper and he fell more and more in love with you with each passing day. He wanted to marry you and raise kids together, raise Eri together. The thought kind of scared him, but it also excited him.
-  ‘I’m definitely in way too deep,’ he thought as he looked at you playing with Eri and Shinsou, one of his few days off training and he was spending that time with you and Eri, his self-proclaimed little sister, ‘but I wouldn’t change this for the world.’
- He spent time with you all day and with the kids thinking of how he was going to ask you to marry him and adopt Eri. He’ll stress over that another day, for now he was content being with all of you.
Tumblr media
- What else to start with but that this man is in love with you. He first landed eyes on you when you had been at the same restaurant during a break in your rounds. You both ordered the same thing and he struck up a conversation. At that point he didn’t know you were a Pro, your suit could shrink into a wrist watch, you figured if you passed as a citizen it would make it easier to find villains.
- He then got to know you better over the course of that short meal, a villain decided to interrupt your lovely conversation (it was about his favorite meal, very interesting actually) and you slapped your watch pulling out a glove that you used to blast the villain away. With the help of FatGum you both apprehended him and handed him over to the police.
- This lead to him finding out you were a Pro and you both left together as you put on your suit that you made yourself. Eventually you both got closer and you could be seen at his agency more often than not. You would work with some of his sidekicks with their costumes if they needed any help with technical issues or just improve them overall.
- He eventually asked you out and you started dating from then on. It was wonderful and he would see how you cared for others and treat them with kindness (unless they were asking for a fight then you would end it).
- It was at this time he started to take on a high schooler as his sidekick, his name was Tamaki Amajiki and he was a very nervous boy. Poor thing had some serious anxiety which you 100000% understand. This business was hard and to maintain a good public image was hard as the citizens would criticize everything you do. This was a big fear to him as some would call him a nervous wreck and it didn’t help him.
- It was at this point that you decided to treat him to food and offer him some assistance with his anxiety, he learned to depend on you if he was feeling too overwhelmed and you would take him away to get his bearings. He came to see you as a parental figure and would confide in you.
- This filled FatGum’s heart with glee to see his significant other and one of his sidekicks that he saw as his own kid get along so well. The feelings only grew once Kirishima joined FatGum’s agency. He was sunshine and you loved him so much.
- You would take the time to help him with training with your inventions as well as Tamaki. You always made sure to make all of them meals and give them food that would help them stay healthy and in the best shape.
- Poor FatGum’s heart couldn’t take it, he was so happy to see you be a parental figure to these boys. He thought of them as his own kids and to see you extend that same feeling to them just made him so so happy and he loved to be with all of you unless he was busy.
- He fell more and more in love with you each day and he honestly planned on marrying you, with how hectic both of your lives were at the moment, he could wait, so for now he was happy with the little family that had been made.

strong
It starts when Jirou overhears a conversation between Aizawa and Present Mic that could be flirty or not. This leads to a lunchtime discussion of flirty vs. friendly and whether or not the two teachers are each other's types. This then spins into a conversation about "types" in general.
Lunch ends before Todoroki is forced to answer with his own "type."
Class is a special lecture on heroism and psychology. This brings up the cycle of abuse and Todoroki's mental "no."
After dinner, the conversation lazily turns back to types and Todoroki gets called out for not giving his before. "Strong," he says. He gets teased for not giving more--hair color, sense of humor, hobbies, gender--and he's like "those aren't important." Likes? Dislikes? They push. Then he thinks and shakes his head. Strong encompasses everything important.
Eventually the conversation circles back to the instigating situation: Aizawa and Present Mic: Flirty or Friendly? The students start to scheme and this draws in Mina who pulls in the rest of the squad.
Bakugou thinks the whole thing is stupid. Todoroki is surprised to agree with him. Bakugou also points out that even if they are, maybe they don't want anyone to know. And, besides, what does it matter? (Secretly Bakugou knows he isn't straight and he'd hate to be outed by nosy idiots).
Next day, they're assigned a project. They can work in groups. Groups form and discussions, but the project conversation keeps slipping back to the schemes. Todoroki accidentally makes eye contact with Bakugou and it seems he is just as exasperated. Then Bakugou asks the teacher if they can change up groups if they want to do something else for the project. Teacher says "yes" as long as they finalize groups by the end of the period. Then he asks if he can work alone. That is a "no." So Bakugou considers his options (Yaoyorozu’s group would be focused, but he does not want to work with Iida, etc) and ends up approaching Todoroki who is looking about as miserable as his face allows at his own table. Bakugou confirms he isn't in on the scheme yet and says they should work together instead. Todoroki agrees, much to the surprise and dismay of his friends. He just wants to get the project done.
Near the end of the period, Shinsou drops into a chair by them and says they have to be less annoying than Aoyama's group. And then asks why they peeled off from the others. Bakugou says the rest are too focused on whether or not the teachers are dating. Shinsou suppresses a smirk and says "They aren't." "Like I care?" "We're not talking about that," Todoroki says, pulling them back to the project.
They hash out a study schedule for the project. They've got a month to pull it all together. Finding a quiet place to study is difficult, though.
There is training. Todoroki watches Bakugou finish up a set and comments, "You're strong." Bakugou a bit high on endorphins and beating his personal best just says "No shit."
When their study spot is basically invaded for the third time in a row, Shinsou groans and says he might have somewhere they can study instead. He just has to ask first. Bakugou frowns because that reminds him of an option, too. So, until Shinsou can figure out whether his idea will work, they decide to try working on their project at Bakugou’s house.
Todoroki sees how Bakugou and his mother interact, which reminds him of the lesson on cycles of abuse. On the train back to UA he asks, out of nowhere, “Do you think all kids end up like their parents?”
Shinsou and Bakugou immediately answer “No.” Todoroki is like, “But your mother…” / “But nothing. That’s just how we talk. What’s the point in sulking around or hiding what you mean?” The two then glance to Shinsou who’s just like, “My parents abandoned me. I hope I can clear that bar.” / Bakugou’s eyes widen a bit at that, but he only says, “Yeah. We decide what we’re like. Not them.”
And for the second time that week, Todoroki thinks strong.
A few days later, Shinsou announces he has a place they can study, but it is top secret so they can’t tell anyone. The other two agree. (Bakugou’s house isn’t bad, but it isn’t super close either. Walking distance is much better than a train). So after classes, he walks them away from UA, into the nearby neighborhood, and to an apartment.
Inside the apartment is Present Mic with his hair wet and down, frowning over some papers with a grading pen in his hand. He glances up when Shinsou flicks on the hall light. Shinsou signs something and Mic replies and gets up. “Wha--” Todoroki starts to ask quietly and Bakugou replies before Shinsou can, “He’s going to put his hearing aids back in.” “You sign?” Shinsou asks, surprised. “I’m probably going to be deaf by the time I’m 30,” Bakugou replies with forced nonchalance. “I figured I should learn before I had to.” “You should talk with Yamada.” Bakugou raises his brows. “You live with Yamada?” Meanwhile Todoroki is looking around the room and notices the photographs. “And Aizawa?” he adds. Shinsou just smirks again. “You’ll see.”
Present Mic returns with his hair pulled back. “I didn’t realize today was study day,” he says with a bright smile. “Why don’t you take your friends to the table, Hitoshi? I’ll put together a snack.” He does just that and then returns to the living room and his grading. The whole thing reminds Todoroki of Bakugou’s mother when she and Bakugou weren’t arguing. And he asks, carefully because he knows he misses social cues, “Is Mr. Yamada your father?”
This, of all things, is what flusters Shinsou. “Adopted,” he says. “He and Aizawa.” Bakugou laughs. “So that’s why they’re not dating. They’re married?” Shinsou confirms this and reinforces the secrecy.
At some point Aizawa returns to the apartment and Hizashi invites Todoroki and Bakugou to stay for dinner. Then Aizawa offers to walk them back to UA before he goes on patrol. “We won’t say anything,” Todoroki promises; he knows the value of secrets. Then, after a long minute, Bakugou adds, quietly, “But maybe you should? It’d have been nice to know sooner it wasn’t impossible.” Aizawa only nods. He walks them to the gates and tells them to get to bed.
On his way to his room, Todoroki realizes the implications of what Bakugou had said and once again marvels at his strength. Speaking out against a teacher and professional hero, revealing something about himself like that--compounded with his self-confidence and drive and physical fitness…
Todoroki sinks onto his bed and thinks oh.
Once the thought is there, he has trouble not paying attention to Bakugou. It is a Problem.
He is not subtle. Bakugou calls him out on it and Todoroki answers honestly, “I want to understand you.” Like Bakugou is some kind of complicated puzzle.
Really, the only thing keeping Todoroki from becoming the center of attention as everyone tries to understand why Bakugou is the center of his attention is that the flirty v. friendly now duelling schemes are still on. By this point the teachers know. Yamada is having fun with it. Aizawa is ignoring it.
And Todoroki and Bakugou have dinner at their apartment about twice a week. The project ends (and they ace it), but this routine persists.
It is strange watching the two teachers interact with Shinsou. Todoroki even watches Aizawa and Shinsou train one afternoon and is again resentful about his father and own training. And it builds. They go to the apartment and everyone is so nice and family like. And the teachers ask Shinsou about his grades and tease him over his crush on some girl they never outright name. And it is this fury building. He knows how to swallow back his anger, all of his emotions really, but he’s been letting his guard down more at UA and apparently he’s forgotten the trick of it when he has this much going on inside of him (because it isn’t just the fury; it is also his confusion about Bakugou, his worries about his mother, etc). And on the way back to UA, he quietly demands to know why Aizawa never hurt Shinsou during training.
Why didn’t he hurt him? Why didn’t he insult him? Why? He’s crying but doesn’t realize it. Bakugou is frozen. And then Aizawa is hugging him and suggesting that they return to the apartment and talk instead. Todoroki is calming but everything is still spinning around him. Aizawa asks if Bakugou can return to UA alone and Todoroki surprises himself by saying “No. He can come.” Because Todoroki has no idea what he feels about Bakugou, not really, but he knows the other boy is strong and right now he needs strength.
They return. Yamada sees them and murmurs that he’ll make tea. Aizawa takes Todoroki to the couch. Shinsou signs to Bakugou asking what happened. Bakugou replies that he has no idea. Icyhot (and yes, Todoroki’s name signs are that combination) just started crying. Aizawa interrupts the conversation by asking Bakugou to join Todoroki on the couch. Yamada brings in tea and Aizawa starts asking questions. Bakugou isn’t sure what he’s doing there until he feels Todoroki lean very slightly against his shoulder. A cat jumps into his lap. His voice is basically a monotone, but Bakugou realizes he’s still freaked out. And, as he listens to what he’s saying, he realizes why. Shinsou sits on the floor on Todoroki’s other side and leans his shoulder against Todoroki’s knees.
And after the talking is done and Todoroki is staring down at his cold, undrunk tea and the teachers are in the kitchen talking silently. Bakugou says, “You will never be your old man, Icyhot. I’d kick your ass if you tried.” For some reason this makes Todoroki huff a small laugh. “Good.”
The teachers return. They have extra futons. The boys will stay the night and they’ll discuss everything in the morning. They move the couch and lay out the futons. Shinsou sleeps in his own room, so it is just Bakugou and Todoroki.
Todoroki can’t sleep. Now that he’s calmed from his earlier fury and breakdown, panic is setting in. He can’t believe what he just did. Bakugou notices and, instead of insulting him, asks if he wants to learn sign language. They spend about an hour going through the alphabet and basic words until Todoroki is tired enough to sleep.
In the morning, Todoroki refuses to press any charges against his father. The teachers say that they’ll arrange it so that he spends all of his holidays with them or at the school. And say that he has to start meeting with Hound Dog once a week to talk. Todoroki does not like the mandated counseling, but accepts it as his punishment for letting his emotions get the better of him.
The signing lessons continue. Each night, about an hour after curfew, Todoroki slips down to Bakugou’s room and learns sign language. Kirishima knows the sneaking is going on and that Bakugou is giving lessons, but he’s just so proud of Bakugou making friends on his own that he helps cover for them. (He doesn’t know why Todoroki is learning sign, but he doesn’t ask).
The flirty v. friendly schemes are ongoing and yielding mixed results. The debate is annoying. It has been a month, but the growing mountain of contradictory evidence is keeping the conversation alive. Izuku points out that this is the kind of thing Todoroki would normally be all over, but he doesn’t know how to make himself care. He doesn’t care about other people’s romances. He barely cared about his own before Bakugou.
Because that is definitely still a thing. After Bakugou didn’t make fun of him for his breakdown. After he started teaching him sign language every night. He just wants the other boy close. He doesn’t understand his own impulses beyond that. It is enough that he’s even eaten lunch with the Bakusquad a few times.
Meanwhile, Bakugou is opening up to the teachers a bit more. After seeing how they handled Todoroki’s breakdown, he finally takes Shinsou’s advice and mentions his own hearing loss and how it probably wasn’t going to get better. Then one night he brings up what he’d hinted at before. It’s been weeks since then, but he talks about how annoying the schemes have gotten and asks why the teachers don’t just tell everyone and then says that he’s gay and if they’re too cowardly to let little kids know they aren’t alone and anyone can be a hero, then he’ll just do it himself.
On the walk home, Aizawa tells him he’s right and that they’ll think about it. During sign language practice that night, Todoroki tells Bakugou that his friends had asked him before what his type was and that he’d said “strong.” And then he says, “You’re the strongest person I know. I like you.”
And Bakugou is like “you can’t just say something like that” and Todoroki’s just “why not? It’s the truth.” He maybe quotes or references Bakugou’s comment from over a month ago on the train about being direct. So Bakugou asks if they can talk about it tomorrow and Todoroki just nods and asks, “Do you mind if I eat lunch with you tomorrow? I like being close to you.” And Bakugou feels like he’s about to explode of something, but he agrees and all but pushes Todoroki out the door.
Kirishima is returning to his room after staying late in Kaminari’s room playing games. He checks the time. “Lesson end early?” he asks. Todoroki says, “I told him I like him.” Kirishima’s brows raise--”That would do it.”--and he wishes Todoroki a good night. As soon as he’s out of sight, Kirishima lets himself into Bakugou’s room, knowing his friend is not going to be able to process this on his own.
The day happens and isn’t particularly notable. Todoroki has eaten with Bakugou’s friends before, after all. That night, Bakugou says, “Okay. Let’s try this.”
Kirishima, good bro that he is, provides gossip cover by publicly confessing to Yaoyorozu. He wanted someone unlikely who would definitely not return his feelings and who no one in the class would expect. (She accepts. It is a Thing. They go on a date and he explains. When she looks upset, he says that he does admire her; he just never thought of her that way because he figured he didn’t have a chance. He asks her if she wants to try this while also using their relationship to draw away as much attention as possible from Bakugou and Todoroki. Todoroki is her friend, so she agrees. And thus begins their farce covering a real growing friendship and relationship during which they both gain confidence).
Meanwhile Todoroki and Bakugou go on a date. It goes rather well. Except Todoroki still wants closer.
They start cuddling during their nightly lessons, which somehow remain mostly lesson still. Todoroki curls against Bakugou like a cat, mimicking his gestures.
Bakugou talks with Kirishima about things. Todoroki talks with Shinsou. (He’d like to talk with Midoriya, but even he realizes that wouldn’t be the best idea). On weekends, when other students head home to see family, Todoroki stays with his teachers and Shinsou instead of staying in the dorms like he used to. He sleeps on a futon in Shinsou’s room and tells him about dating Bakugou and wanting more, but not knowing what that “more” is. Shinsou suggests kissing. (And maybe privately teases Bakugou about it but Bakugou just flushes and gets agitated and blusters about being careful. And Shinsou, for the first time, calls Todoroki his little brother (actual ages do not matter) and tells Bakugou not to hurt him. Bakugou is both insulted and relieved by this. As if he would).
So the next night Todoroki asks Bakugou to kiss him. So Bakugou, blushing even though (thanks to Shinsou) he’d known this was coming, does. Soft and chaste. He pulls back and Todoroki blinks slowly and says “Again.” Bakugou smirks or grins and kisses him again. This one is not nearly as chaste.
At some point Bakugou tries to be nice and use ‘Todoroki’ instead of a nickname and Todoroki is like ‘I don’t like all of the nicknames, but I like that you don’t use my family name.’ And Bakugou gets it, but the nicknames start getting nicer. Less ‘halfie’ and more things like “strawberry swirl.”
The first time he does this in front of others, Kirishima glares at him and is trying to figure out how to draw the attention away when Yaoyorozu suddenly calls for him using his given name. The whispers shift immediately. And Kirishima, when he recovers his senses, thanks her for her quick thinking.
But such attention drawing doesn’t last forever, especially as Bakugou and Todoroki start gravitating toward each other during school hours (and the lesson portions of their evenings grow shorter and shorter). Then one day when everyone is starting to question them about it (maybe they fell asleep on the couch together in the common room?), Aizawa enters the room and sighs and says, “I hope you’re not concocting another scheme to harass my husband and me.”
Pin drop.
But at least no one cares about Bakugou and Todoroki being friends (or napping together) anymore.
But people will find out soon (and Bakugou is kinda itching to come out now that Aizawa and Present Mic have; it feels too much like backing down if he doesn’t), so Todoroki and Bakugou talk about what they are and what they want. And for Todoroki it is simple. He just wants to be close. And maybe he mentions also not wanting to be his father and that Bakugou reminds him that he doesn’t have to be, that he can be strong. And Bakugou wants to date. He wants to do all the shit people assume he wouldn’t be interested in. And he wants to do that with Todoroki. Plus, Todoroki’s belief in his strength is good. He feels calmer with him around. (So, basically, they’re each a rock for the other; two strong people making each other stronger by reminding each other of their own strengths and believing in one another).
It isn’t love. But it is something.
So, later that night, Bakugou sneaks down to the kitchen and makes a bento for Todoroki. The next day at lunch, when Todoroki is with his friends, he goes over to them and rolls his eyes at the inevitable takeout lunch. “Don’t eat that crap,” he says, pushing it aside and dropping the zaru soba bento in front of Todoroki. “Made this for you.” Todoroki smiles and thanks him. Bakugou kisses his cheek and is pulling away when Todoroki catches his wrist. “Again.” Bakugou laughs and maybe calls him “insatiable” or something and kisses him on the lips before returning to his own table.
(Kirishima and Yaoyorozu were not briefed on this. Their eyes meet in wide panic because they can’t beat that. They’re plotting across the room when Bakugou notices and waves them off.)
And Todoroki’s friends aren’t sure what just happened, so they ask. Todoroki smiles. “I figured out my type,” he tells them. “Bakugou.”

Some soft hospital content (ft bkdk) because I'm struggling with this arc
All of class 1a along with Shinsou and Eri, Camie and Inasa, and some of the teachers will take turns sitting with Bakugou or Todoroki. Just so there's always someone with them even if they're asleep.
Mirio, Nejire, and Fatgum do the same thing with Tamaki while he's recovering (because he's going to be fine, I'm manifesting it) Mirio spends the most time with him ofc and is very determined to be holding his hand and smiling at him when he finally wakes up.
Once Bakugou is awake there's quite literally no stopping him from being by Izuku's side. Eventually everyone stopped trying to get him to stay in his room after he snuck out for the twentieth time so he spends all his time on a chair at Izuku's bedside. Or curled up on Izuku's bed next to him when he needs the comfort.
Of course, All Might and Inko also spend a lot of time with Izuku. After the public's loss of trust with heroes, All Might blames himself a lot so it's become the sole mission of class 1a to big him up whenever they see him. Cries of "No way! Is that All Might? The guy who saved hundreds of people from a burning building?" Are now very common in the hospital and the staff tend to join in as well.
All Might has cried a lot because of this but it's definitely worked to keep his spirits up and focus on being there for Izuku.
Inko was still wary of whether Bakugou will hurt Izuku again but after walking in to see him crying quietly, clutching at Izuku's cast and begging him to wake up she believes him, when he apologises to her and promises he'll do whatever he can to keep Izuku safe from now on. She thanks him for saving her boy and they spend a lot of time reminiscing about how Bakugou and Izuku were as kids.
Because Bakugou is still in hospital, he'll usually take the night shifts for Izuku so Inko and All Might can rest.
Izuku will get nightmares whilst he's in his coma, partly because of whatever is going on with the vestiges but when he starts crying out in his sleep Bakugou is always there to gently reassure him. Just comforting words, I need some soft Bakugou please.
Mic will take Aizawa around the hospital in a wheel chair when he starts to get stir crazy. They visit the kids as much as they can and Mic especially takes it as a personal challenge to see how many of them he can get to smile with his bad jokes.
When Izuku wakes up (because he will, I'm not about that negativity) Bakugou cries properly for the first time in a long while which ofc makes Izuku cry too. Then they both sit there, a mixture of sobbing and laughing at each other until Bakugou gives in and hugs him.
Cuddling is kind of awkward given the excess of casts that Izuku still has to wear but it usually ends up with him being the little spoon.
Miruko being fitted for her prosthetics and learning how to use them, please Hori, I think we deserve to see that. She would be so badass.
I need more happy content please, this is getting too sad for me.

Howdy, it is Calcium.
This is an old post that I started when I first created my Tumblr account, but I started to neglect it when I lost inspiration for the Minetaverse (my BNHA next generation).
Thanks to my mutuals, I feel revived once again so I thought I would clean it up and update it with recent changes to my lore. Without a further ado, here is my interpretation of where the 1-A girls are at in the future.
Everything Heroine: Creati
Yaoyorozu Momo becomes a sidekick at Gum Offices alongside Tetsutetsu and Kirishima. Due to being a part of the famous Class A, she has gained a lot star power so she graduates to a pro hero early into her career.
She leaves Gum Offices after she decides not to renew her contract, and goes to create her own agency called Creati Creatives. She worked alone for a while, but through signing up for the internship programs at local hero schools she started to build her agency's roster.
Yaoyorozu Momo reunited with Jirou Kyouka, and Jirou decides to merge Present Mic's agency with Yaoyorozu's agency. Jirou becomes the head of the Idol and Support Heroics Department.
Shinsou Hitoshi signs up with Yaoyorozu's agency as well, and becomes the head of the Moonlight Heroics Department.
Yaoyorozu Momo goes on to create an organization called Our Bodies Our Creations (OBOC) that helps female pro heroes in the heroics industry.
Yaoyorozu Momo ranks as the number two hero, and is a huge donor to organizations that help victims of sexual abuse and harassment.
In her personal life, Yaoyorozu Momo marries Jirou Kyouka and they have a ceremony that can only be described as one fit for royalty. They have one son.
Hearing Heroine: Future Jack
Jirou Kyouka studies abroad under the tutelage of Vino Herox: Wine Splatter. She studied alongside Mina Aishido and Komori Kinoko.
Unfortunately, her studies are cut short as she rushes back to Japan to help take care of her godfather Yamada-Aizawa Hizashi.
After years of using his voice at extreme levels, Yamada's vocal cords start to show their age so he ends his radio show after it ran for years. Jirou Kyouka starts to work at his agency, and gets into the radio host business in his place.
Yaoyorozu and Jirou reunite after being away from each other for so long, and lean on each other for emotional support during the reality of being a hero starting to sink in.
Eventually, Jirou inherits Present Mic's agency which she merges with Yaoyorozu's new agency to create an Idol Heroics Department. There she continues Present Mic's legacy as a radio host and artist.
In her personal life, Jirou Kyouka marries Yaoyorozu Momo and they have a ceremony that can only be described as one fit for royalty. They have one son.
Rainy Season Heroine: Froppy
Asui Tsuyu joins Selkie's crew temporarily as a way to get her foot in the door as a hero. She is adored by kids, and is known for her homemade food she'll bring it to homeless shelters and poor communities.
During her time on Selkie's crew, Selkie retires so Sirius takes over as the new captain. Asui learns a lot as Sirius' first mate. Eventually she leaves to start up an agency alongside one of her fiances Uraraka Ochaco. The fair well party was a nice gathering with a cookout on the ship's deck. Sirius gave Asui a copy of the ship's flag to remember them by.
Asui works alongside Uraraka to open their own rescue hero agency called Depths to the Moon Rescue Services.
In her personal life, Asui Tsuyu gets married to Uraraka Ochaco and Toga Himiko. They have three children.
Galactic Heroine: Uravity
Uraraka Ochaco enters a three year apprenticeship with Thirteen, while joining Gunhead's club for heroes who wish to learn quirkless fighting alongside quirk fighting.
Uraraka Ochaco now works alongside Asui Tsuyu in operating their own rescue hero agency called Depths to the Moon Rescue Services. Uraraka ranks number five on the Japanese hero charts.
In her personal life, Uraraka Ochaco gets married to Asui Tsuyu and Toga Himiko. They have three children.
Alien Heroine: Queen Venus
Mina Aishido studies abroad under the tutelage of Vino Herox: Wine Splatter. She studied alongside Jirou Kyouka and Komori Kinoko.
Once Mina Aishido and Komori Kinoko return to Japan, they open an idol agency together called ROYALS. Once Hagakure Tooru completes the remedial program, she joins them as the third operator.
While the idol agency does function as an entertainment studio, it also functions as a hero agency which gains traction for heroic students who wish to build a brand.
In her personal life, Mina Aishido gets married to Hagakure Tooru. They have one daughter.
Prismatic Heroine: Spectrum
Hagakure Tooru, alongside the other LoV minors, completes her the remedial program with flying colors.
Once Hagakure Tooru is set free, she is roped into owning an idol agency alongside Mina Aishido and Komori Kinoko.
In her personal life, Hagakure Tooru gets married to Mina Aishido. They have one daughter.
Bonus | Bloody Heroine: Vampira
Toga Himiko, alongside the other LoV minors, completes the remedial program. Once she is set free, she is picked up by Uraraka Ochaco and enters a relationship with Uraraka Ochaco and Asui Tsuyu.
Toga Himiko joins the other former League of Villains member at their new agency League of Vigilantes and works as a Moonlight hero.
In her personal life, Toga Himiko gets married to Asui Tsuyu and Uraraka Ochaco. They have three children.

↳ aizawa shouta x reader → unimaginable
summary: you decide to let shinsou go on a mission without you but when he gets hurt you blame yourself word count: 1,944 tags/warnings: aizawa family!au, light angst, family, fluff, idk  a/n: i don’t really know what this is but enjoy, i was watching hamilton and i thought of this.
Shinsou had been doing his work studies with you and you enjoyed being able to work along-side your adopted son. He had learned a lot from your husband Aizawa and was getting better and better every day.
You were very professional and did your best to remain unbiased but at the end of the day, you still cared for him as your son so it was hard to let him into situations that you considered too dangerous.
A mission had come up and Shinsou would be a perfect fit for it. You had intended to go with him until Aizawa pulled you aside.
“You should send him with one of your sidekicks, it’ll be good for him to work with others.” He said. You knew your husband well enough to know that that was his nice way of saying you’re smothering him. You couldn’t disagree with him but you worried too much. You liked knowing that if the situation was bad enough you could send Shinsou away to safety. You also knew that wasn’t going to help him become a stronger hero.
Reluctantly you let him go but you couldn’t shake the bad feeling.
“Okay, remember what Aizawa taught you.” You said readjusting the capture weapon that rested around his neck. “Be careful and follow their lead.”
“I know, I know.” Shinsou said with a hint of a smile. “I’ll be fine.”
“I know you will.” You smile at him, you brush his cheek with your thumb. “I’ll see you at home tonight, love you.”
“I love you too.” He said before leaving with the hero he’d be working with.
At your agency, you find yourself unable to focus on anything. You sit at your desk tapping your nails against the surface. It will be fine, you trust the heroes at your agency to take care of Shinsou. You know Shinsou is smart and strong. You wish that you didn’t worry so much.
Your door opens and your secretary walks in. The look on their face makes your stomach drop. Without a word you already know it’s bad news. You had seen it before.
“Not him.” You said before you could stop the words.
“Shinsou, he’s on his way to the hospital. The villain got out of hand, the structure started to crumble-”
Standing up you run out, you had heard enough. You just needed to see him, he had to be okay. You wouldn’t know what to do if-
Rushing to the hospital you called Aizawa. He picked up and you can barely get a word out you’re so frantic.
“What happened?” He asked you could hear the fear in his voice. He knows that not many things shake you.
“Shinsou, it’s Shinsou.” You finally gasped out. You were able to tell him which hospital it was and Aizawa is already on his way.
Rushing into the building you find the front desk, Aizawa is already there and you’re thankful you don’t have to try and ask for information. Aizawa turns and sees you, as you approach him he grabs your shoulders.
“He’s in surgery now, he’s unstable but they’re hopeful.” He told you in a calm voice.
You let out a breath, he’s alive but there’s still a chance he might not make it. Tears begin to stream down your face. You have always done your best to put on a persona in public, you were a highly ranked pro hero people didn’t need to see you shaken up but you can’t stop yourself.
Aizawa asks quietly if there’s somewhere private to wait and the receptionist gives him directions. Your husband guides you through the halls before entering a room and sitting down on a love seat with you.
“I told you I should have been with him.” You cried as Aizawa pulled you into a hug. He held you close, one hand at the back of your neck and the other in the middle of your back. He presses your head against his chest and rests his head against yours. “If I was there he would be okay.”
“I’m sorry.” He whispered against your ear. “He’s a strong kid, he’ll be okay.”
Time passes and you hold each other, tears streaming down both of your faces. Eventually, your breathing evens and you start to calm down. The thought of Shinsou on an operating table makes you sick but you feel more stable than before.
“Shouta, I’m sorry.” You say quietly, pulling back to look him in the eyes. “It’s not your fault. You were right that I need to give him more independence. This could have happened even with me there.”
Your agency had sent in the report of what had happened, his injuries were caused by falling debris. A part of you thinks you could have stopped it in time but you also know that anything could have happened.
“It’s okay.” He said taking your hand in his. “I’m not upset at you. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t regret telling you to let him go with someone else.”
You grip his hand in yours, pulling it to your lips to kiss the top of his hand. You stared into the dark eyes of the man you love, he looked just as worn out as you felt. The bags under his eyes and the redness worse than normal. You pulled him close, letting him rest on your shoulder.
“We’ll get through this.” You said. “Wait, Eri’s still at daycare!”
The realization that you had forgotten about your adopted daughter in all the chaos hit you, you tried to stand up but Aizawa keeps you from doing so.
“I already asked Yamada to watch her.” He reassured you.
“What would I do without you.” You sighed as you relaxed back into him.
More time passes before the doctors told you anything. Finally, you were told that he was out of surgery and in a room. The two of you didn’t hesitate to see him.
It broke your heart seeing him lying in the bed, bandages wrapped all over him. He had sustained quite a few injuries but the doctors said he would recover. You let out a breath of relief. Sitting down at his side you cradled his cheek, tears ran down your face.
You felt like a failure. When you took Shinsou in you promised to take care of him, keep him from harm, and here he was. You could feel Aizawa wrap his arms around your waist, as he tried to comfort you.
“He’ll be okay.” He said. You knew he would but it didn’t stop the overwhelming guilt. What kind of hero was you if you couldn’t protect your own son?
Every day at the beginning of visitor hours you went to sit at his bedside. After class Aizawa would join you for a while before you’d go home to spend time with Eri. Eri would ask about her big brother Shinsou but you would tell her that he was resting up so he could come home and be healthy. You knew the little girl had seen and heard worse but you never wanted to add onto that.
Finally, Shinsou woke up and when he did you were at his side, spilling apologies before he could even say anything. You held onto his hand as if you let go he would disappear.
“It’s not your fault, I should have been more careful. I’m sorry, you shouldn’t have to worry so much.” He said.
“Shinsou, I’m always going to worry about you. It doesn’t matter how old you are.” You told him. He gave you a small smile but you didn’t miss the way his eyes teared up.
“I’m okay now.” He said. You squeezed his hand with a smile.
Eri was more than ecstatic to have her big brother home but you told her before he came home to be careful with him because he was still healing. You smiled as she carefully hugged him acting as if the smallest movement would hurt him.
Aizawa and you laid in bed together, your head resting on his chest as you played with his hair. It felt good knowing that Shinsou was home and in his own bed.
Growing up you understood the danger of hero work. You knew that in a moment you could be dead, one wrong move that was it. You were okay with that, when you were young you hadn’t expected to live long. Then you met Aizawa and then the stakes felt bigger. If you died you would leave him behind. If he died he would leave you behind. It was hard to cope with that possibility.
You had thought that was the hardest thing then you adopted Eri and you realized that a villain could try to use her to hurt you or Aizawa. You constantly worried that Overhaul or his associates would try to come after her.
Then Shinsou came into your lives. He wanted to be a hero and of course, neither of you would stop him.
It was so much harder to fear for your child than to fear for yourself. It was so much easier to protect them than to watch them get hurt. But you had to learn. Shinsou wanted to be like you and Aizawa and it would be hypocritical to stop him from pursuing his dreams.
The most you could do was to teach him everything you could so he would be prepared to be the best hero he could be. You supposed that was a part of being a parent, learning to let your children make their own mistakes and learn. You just didn’t have much time to prepare for that considering you took Shinsou in at the age he was.
“Will it ever get any easier?” You ask your husband. He was a teacher and had been for a while. He was more prepared for this than you were.
“Hmm?” He questioned.
“Watching Shinsou get hurt. Watching him grow up and learn the hard way?” You said. Aizawa sighed, his hand moving to your back.
“Yes and no.” He answered. “It will always hurt to watch them get hurt but every time they come out of it you’ll know they’ll be more prepared for being a hero. Think about all of the times you got hurt when you were young.”
You remembered the fire in you. It didn’t matter if it was a sprain or if you had almost died you always came out of it with a fire in you to do better, to be stronger, to become a hero that couldn’t be felled. That could protect anyone.
“It’s so hard to watch someone else go through it.” You sighed.
“I know.” He said. “But we’ll always be here for him. He’ll have support through it all. Just think how much harder it would have been for him with his situation before this.”
Aizawa was right. He always was. Shinsou’s parents had been neglectful at best. It would always be hard being a hero but Shinsou would always have a loving family there for him and you could pride yourself on that.
“You always know what to say.” You smiled looking up at him. “Thank you.”
Aizawa smiled down at you, brushing his hand gently across your cheek. He leaned down pressing a kiss against your forehead. You knew that you could do this. You knew that you and Aizawa could provide Shinsou the sanctuary he needed to become a great hero. The sanctuary that Aizawa lacked when he was young. And no matter what happened you could have peace in that.
