Hello tumblr world. I still lurk! I still read your asks! I still read your messages! I still struggle with work-life balance and anxiety/depression in a draining capitalist society when I would rather hide in the woods and write until the sun explodes (which might be soon)!

That being said, I received the most lovely notification this morning of the most incredible fanvid that was made of Ignition. One of my incredible readers (alicewinter_ao3) has been taking on the immense task of translating the entire story into Russian and this video came as a result of their efforts! The edits and the attention to tiny details from the fic are so insanely well done, I had to share it here.

Funny story: I had actually opened up ignition last night and wrote about a thousand words. First time in forever. Then, this morning, I wake up to this.

Maybe it’s a sign.

Steve glares angrily at him and he wishes he could make his damn head explode.

Darcy bites her lip and laughs a little.  “I’d sit on his face until he made me see stars.  G’night, boys!” she yells, blowing them a kiss before slamming the door closed behind her.

Bucky collapses on the couch, laughing so hard he can barely breathe.  “Have fun with those images in your head, Rogers,” he chokes out.

I read "Good to Know" yesterday and wow, it really knocked my socks off. Thank you so, so much for all the time and effort you put into that 82K behemoth. When I say I read it all yesterday, I'm being completely honest. I even dreamed about parts of it as a result (with my fine, bearded husband in the role of Steve Rogers, lol). Has anyone created fan art of your lovely story? I'd love to see some, if there is some to share. Please keep writing; I'm a forever fan now!!

Thank you so much, @lalunaunita ! I’m glad you enjoyed my attempt at Shieldshock.  It was a pleasure to write because I love Darcy and Steve is just so delicious.  As far as I know, there isn’t any fanart of this fic.  A couple of my other (Wintershock) fics have had some artwork done--a couple drawings and some photosets.  I try to link the art in the story if the artist is kind enough to let me know so I can oogle it and love it and brag about it.  Alas, Good to Know doesn’t have any art that has made its way to my consciousness.  I wish!

1) Sherlock is emotionally constipated and Molly is the best optimist. She brings out he's humanity in the best way. From knowing he fucked up and apologizing for real for the first time, then trusting her with his life. Wanting the absolute best for her, wanting her to be happy and safe and loved. And then... Finally realising he loves her. It's just so damn beautiful, I can't even explain.

GRUVIA: GRAY X JUVIA

How do I put into words how thoroughly these two have fucked me up?! I can't. She has loved him through everything. They've died (him twice) for each other, just for the hope that the other would live and be safe. And I cannot explain to you enough how chapter 499 screwed with me, I was crying for a week on and off. My family though I was was bat shit...They were probably right.

OLICITY: OLIVER X FELICITY

What can I say? This couple gets me, the angst, the will they won’t they, the obvious soulmate aspect? These two break me. But I wouldn’t want it any other way. I got into Fandom because of Olicity, I started writing fanfic because of them. I will always watch them because they are perfect for each other...I’m just waiting on the wedding to be honest.

have one of the best fandoms out there. With a bunch of fanfics, fanart and all sorts that got me hooked immediately. Seriouslys guys do you know how much fanfics I’ve read...soooo many. I love them. 

VEGEBUL: VEGETA X BULMA

Do I need to say anything else?..I shall though.

One of the may reasons I adore vegeta is he is the most developed character out of DBZ. He went from not giving two shits about Bulma dying (Cell Saga) to surpassing Goku when Buma got hit. He is a loving father and a more than loving husband now, and I get all the feels even thinking about it. My brother and I have many conversations about DBZ because he’s favourite character is Goku and mine is Vegeta, (so if you want me to tell you more just ask I’d love to go more indepth) but I have loved this couple ever since they surprised the hell out us.

And last but not least

JACKIE X HYDE

No one can tell me that his couple wasn’t endgame because they fucking were! All my hate for season 7 and Sam and Fez. No. Hyde grounded Jackie and Jackie gave ‘Steven someone to love. Seriously fuck the writers I will always have love in my heart for this couple and a rage that won’t quit for the people that fucked them over.

Hey ya’ll it’s FANDOM FRIDAY! Woo hoo!

Please enjoy a quiet moment between Steve Rogers and Darcy Lewis in Chapter 7 of @anogete ‘s fic Good to Know. It starts out as a sweet sunset walk, but broke my heart for these two. In response to Darcy’s “I want you to be safe,” all Steve can ask is “Why?”, betraying a total ignorance of his own worth.

I’ve never read Shieldshock fic before (took me about a day to figure out that ship name, lol). I meandered into Ao3 and said, “Okay, Ao3, give me something new and make it good.” Ao3 totally delivered with anogete’s fic - it is a slow burn well worth the read! It’s rated Explicit, primarily for some of the last chapters, but I also think Darcy’s hilarious and filthy inner monologue would rate the big E. Beware, teen followers, please.

I have one more planned for this fic; hoping I can have it done for next week’s Fandom Friday.

I’m using the ibisPaint X program (we are finally on good terms again, haha) - it’s free or for purchase, with lots of video tutorials, etc.

I was told by @leftennant that the Marvel fandom was seriously lacking in Darcy Lewis fanart, so I took it upon myself to do three versions of this latest edition of my sunset silhouettes series. The first one is inspired by Lefty’s OT3 fic Codename: Cupcake, not your average A/B/O fic. I love it, so we have Darcy and her two alphas. The bottom ones are special because I added in Skinny Steve and pre-Winter Bucky as shadows behind the boys. I just love that touch.
