17.1 is one for the books. Last year was my first year being part of the open and I scaled everything. This year I told myself I would do my best to RX as much as possible. 17.4 just showed how much I've improved as a crossfit athlete compared to when I first started. Last year, I scaled 16.4 and got stuck on the rower. This year I RX'd and finished the 55c on the rower (165 Reps at 12:55). RELENTLESS! At the end of my Keto cycle and pretty with the results. Left is 260lbs/ 33% Body Fat. Right is 196lbs/ 20% Body Fat. It all started with crossfit about a year ago, I took it day by day setting goals for myself. PR after PR, I gained momentum and just never looked back.
