Can we talk about how Karen definitely has some sort of PTSD because you can't just wake up one day with a knife and bloody hands and a dead coworker on your carpet one and then be fine. You don't get arrested and then almost strangled to death while in custody and be fine. You don't get kidnapped and threatened and then kill someone in self defense and be fine.

Okay. I've seen Shri'iia on my dash a bundle of times, and I need to know more about her. Mind giving me a rundown on who she is?

shri’iia is my bg3 tav / player character who I turned into an oc outside of the game because I’m obsessed with her CURRENTLY! which is quite obvious considering how much I post about her like it’s my full time job.

anyway shri’iia is a lolth-sworn drow who was raised knee deep in lolth’s cult, became a paladin to serve lolth and her doctrine and worshipped her spider goddess for a near 2 centuries until she got dropped off into the surface (unknown land for her, she literally hasn’t left her home until the start of the game) and she breaks her oath in less than 10 days.

that snowballs into a series of events where she going through a loss of faith, a massive existential crisis, processing the trauma of being in that cult and also having a toxic codependent relationship with someone who she projected her goddess into, and she goes through this whole journey of finding her own autonomy and with it, finds a new purpose for herself too. that’s kind of the gist of it tbh LOL

anyway lovely runner is probably my absolute favourite kdrama i've watched so far in the past few years i've been watching them - i HIGHLY recommend.

it's the only one i've managed to watch all the way through in a long time - so many k-drama's i've started and then fell off half way through bc i wasn't engaged anymore or wasn't feeling where the plot was going, this got me out of my slump.

it stayed engaging the entire time and i never really found any of the characters unlikeable and i never got bored.

anyway. sol and sunjae deserve the world and more i'm gonna miss them sm.

like to me, the ~whole saving the world from the elven gods business~ is another gig she signed up for so she's treating it like one. she's very practical and pragmatic, and she does whatever she can to succeed in this particular endeavor. like she hardly banters with people when she's in business mode lmfao the only time she jokes around is when she's out of her office hours.

one thing that i wish for though is for the dialogues to be much more mean/stricter. i've gone past the weisshaupt quest and i wish you can be more mean on lucanis for flopping LMFAO like sorry king but to me marina would be sm harder on him since she hired him for that job but he didn't do it right, so what is he good for? if he can't do the one thing she asks for then she has no need for him, and she'd just get someone else. likewise i don't see her being sad about the prospect of davrin sacrificing himself when he's going to kill the archdemon bc that's like. why he's in here in the first place LMFAO like to me, marina would be like well this is what you signed up for 🤷 like she detaches her personal feelings from business. like in a personal level ofc she would be sad if davrin did die but in the end that comes with the job u know.... like she's so serious business woman to me she'd thrive in succession
