some stuff about A.B. :]
some of this stuff i talked abt on discord last night as well so a bit of this is just copypasted
She goes by A.B. purely because she thinks it sounds cool. Though, some take to calling her "Abby" instead of pronouncing the two letters. And, of course, the executives and mr. curtain call her by her full name, as they don't tolerate nicknames like that.
Her hat belonged to her mother.
okay i just realized this is gonna be a kinda long so the rest is under the cut lol
She was a papergirl pre-canon, which is how she comes by the ad in the newspaper two weeks before the round of tests that the other kids take. She makes it to the second test, but doesn't pass it because she couldn't figure out the puzzle. But, the whole thing made her curious, and she wants to write an article on it for her personal newspaper (her journal. she has a little journal she writes articles in.) so she trails behind number two all the way back to the house, intent on catching up to her to get an interview. bad news: she gets caught snooping around the driveway. good news: Mr. Benedict respects her commitment to hard-hitting facts-based journalism, and decides she could be quite a useful part of the team (he also may or may not be deeply concerned that this little girl was running around stonetown all on her own with literally zero adult supervision)
She then tells Mr. Benedict her story about how her mom dropped her off at "daycare" when she was little and then didn't come back and that pretty much seals the deal.
As for her mother, she was not brainswept, she really did leave A.B. behind. Her father died when she was a baby, and her mother found herself unable and unwilling to care for A.B. on her own. So she left her on the steps of an orphanage and didn't look back.
A.B. doesn't find this out until the end of the first book. Mr. Benedict has the thought that Ms. Moore may have been brainswept, so decides to look into it. What he finds is that she moved to New York, and has been living there since A.B. was seven, eventually getting remarried.
He leaves it up to A.B. if she wants to know and, of course, she does.
Naturally, she is both devastated and incredibly angry at her mom. Despite this, though, A.B. doesn't let go entirely. She still needs her mom. Not just needs, but wants. Part of her still clings to the little hope that her mom might come back for her.
She ends up going back to the Wetherall farm with Kate and Milligan (having been invited, of course,) and helps rebuild the farm :]
In TPJ she winds up losing her hat when the kids escape from the Ten Men in the Salamander. She wants to go back for it, but there isn't time, she has to let it go. It's sad but it's for the character development.
Then she gets frustrated with her braid catching on things, realizes her hair is quite easy to grab, and so she hacks it off with a knife :)
and that's everything I got so far :]

you ever scroll past some sort of discourse that you didn't even know existed, and you have to take a second and realize that, while none of us are superior to others, some of us ARE much better at choosing which dumbass hills to die on? because I think sometimes you deserve to go 'huh. at least I'm not getting involved in all that'.
#well idk i'm still wasting time typing this out but that's marginally less embarrassing as an outsider than the people arguing about it#tw abuse mention in tags#so APPARENTLY!!!#enneagram mbti people are complaining about enneagram 7s being predisposed to being manipulative (?)#someone's like 'my sister was a 7w8 and neglects her kids' like jesus christ i don't think her enneagram is why she does that?#saying this as someone who LOOSELY AND UNSERIOUSLY enjoys mbti/zodiac/boxes to put my blorbos into:#these people are just doing the zodiac but for people who think they can armchair diagnose others they dislike with cluster b disorders#like congrats you made it worse and combined it with pseudopsychology to make some hellish ableism amalgamation#and it was already stupid to begin with but man you really took it up to 100#like we do realize that this is all fake. right. this isn't an actual psychological profile.#and taking it seriously has worrying implications? and you cannot judge someone based on anything but their behavior?#like again i get having fun with these things as little categories. my autistic ass loves sorting things into categories.#i will give my blorbos full star charts for 6 hours. yay categories.#but with the caveat that it's unserious and for funsies and not at all an actual representation of any human being?#like when i say 'i'm such a taurus lol' or whatever i'm not actually under the impression that it dictates my actual personality?#it's all confirmation bias anyways. people see what they want out of this kind of thing#like yeah i'm kinda lazy and i like food and self indulgence but. that's probably like half of the. idk. virgo population or whatever too#i think those are just things that most human people enjoy unless you're one of those super ambitious go-getters who never slows down#same goes for every other trait. curiosity? emotion? stubbornness? logic? those are just things that most people have in some capacity

deep down in my soul, i know that if sophie ever introduced keefe and fitz to them, keefe would want to play uno immediately and fitz would want to play chess and sophie would look at their puppy eyes and just. relent. give in. and go screw it, i’ll play you both at the same time. and then she would either destroy them both, die of panic because brains aren’t designed to multitask well, or both. and then her boys would want to swap games over and over and she’d indulge them just for one night in a pillow fort with all their stuffed animals or something

As someone who isn't the biggest Hermione fan and keeps it quiet because greater fandom LOVES her, I'm honestly gagging for more of your Hermione takes. Especially your takes on fanon Hermione, who I can't STAND. Have a good one x
thank you very much, anon - there are dozens of us!
hermione is certainly the character i struggle to find common ground with the most - and this has been the case since i first read philosopher's stone as a child.
[which has actually been a really fascinating pop-culture experience - i think we tend to overlook, both because the media landscape and its representation of child and teen girls has changed since the 1990s and because of jkr's increasingly harmful views on gender, just how groundbreaking hermione was as a female protagonist in media which wasn't marketed primarily or exclusively towards girls. there is a reason why so many girls and women identified with her when the books were coming out - and it was very interesting for me growing up to not be one of them.]
the cause of my beef with hermione is for the incredibly petty reason that i find people who possess many of her more... striking traits quite difficult to deal with in real life, particularly if they don't acknowledge [which people in the hermione vein often don't...] that these traits are things it might benefit them to work on in their interpersonal relationships...
but this doesn't prevent me recognising that canon!hermione [and any real person like her] is interesting - and that her more annoying traits work well with her more straightforwardly admirable ones to create a fully-rounded character who, from a fanfiction perspective, is a great vehicle for all sorts of tropes, themes, and storylines.
which brings us - of course - to fanon!hermione...
fanon!hermione is, at her core, another brick in the wall of mary-sues. she's beautiful, and so clever she can solve millennia-old puzzles without batting an eyelid, and she's preternaturally emotionally intelligent, and she's morally spotless, and she's always right, and the story's preferred romantic partner worships the ground she walks on, and anyone who doesn't like her is punished.
i don't think - to be clear - that there is anything wrong, per se, with people wanting to write fanon!hermione [nor, to be frank, with other flawless fanon versions of female characters, oc mary-sues, or self-indulgent self-inserts - i'll defend the right to have fun with characters to the death]. this is a hobby, and people's way of engaging with that hobby doesn't have to appeal to me - it's fun escapism sometimes to write a character who is wonderful and perfect and beloved and has a sexy partner; and when it comes to accusations of writing someone "out-of-character", let she who is without sin cast the first stone...
but i also think - and [sigh] here comes some discourse - that fanon!hermione is part of a slight... girlbossification of female characters in the harry potter fandom [and presumably in others, i just don't follow closely enough to know] which i've always been a little uneasy about.
i understand why this happens - this fandom, like many, has an overwhelming preference for making blorbos of male characters and for imagining these characters in slash relationships. the treatment of female characters in slash subfandoms - i.e. tonks in wolfstar spaces; lily in jegulus spaces - is often straightforwardly misogynistic, and even in cases where it isn't, female characters are often shuffled quietly to the sidelines, except when they pop up - often suddenly in a queer pairing of their own - to benignly cheerlead the male couple.
and i think it's good that this is challenged - as i also think it's good that the heteronormative vibes of a lot of slash are challenged - and that we, as a fandom, are increasingly interested in female-centric works [whether focused on a romantic pairing or otherwise] and discussions. i hope these continue to take up fandom space.
but i have also noticed that the way female characters are written and talked about in these context is - as i've said - quite #girlboss in its approach. the focus is on women as clever and competent and feisty and unruffled and brave.
[including female villains, there are a lot of girlboss bellatrixes knocking around...]
and great! it should be! - but from what i've seen this also comes accompanied by a resistance to the idea that women can also be boring, unintelligent, self-infantilising, vain, arrogant, ignorant, talentless, meek, domestic, rude, dislikable, conservative, incurious, complicit in their own victimisation, plain wrong, and so on, and not only still be worthy of exploration, but be worthy of these characteristics not being automatically considered bad things for someone to possess and it not being seen as letting down the sisterhood to explore a woman who possesses them.
and, sure, hermione cannot be described as many of these things - but she is...
self-righteous; cruel; petty; from a privileged class background in the muggle world which blinkers her understanding of the class structure of the wizarding one; stubborn; terrible under pressure; shown by the text to be intelligent largely due to an ability to rote learn; a people-pleaser with a tendency towards a slightly hagrid-ish blind loyalty; extremely deferential to authority and willing to tolerate cruel treatment from authority figures [i.e. snape]; the most childlike of the trio [she takes her schoolbooks on the run and reads through them for comfort! she's an enormous animal lover!]; interested in one of form of stereotypical femininity [knitting! wearing pretty dresses!] even if she rejects the form of stereotypical femininity liked by e.g. parvati and lavender [and anyone who thinks she's not going to get along with her mother-in-law because molly's a housewife is dead wrong - she's having the time of her life helping put together a sunday lunch at the burrow]; possessed of a filthy sense of humour [i will never understand why emma watson said that the key to playing her was to be prim...]; someone who obviously wants to be liked and to be loved; and so on...
[and also, by the end of the pre-epilogue narrative, eighteen. she's often written in fics in a way which makes her sound like she's seen a lot of life - especially if the fic wants to claim she's "too mature" to bother with men her own age... but she hasn't - she's a teenager, and the reason she's so unpolished and abrasive is because literally all teenagers are unpolished and abrasive. it's just one of the mortifying agonies of growing up.]
we should love this. it makes her thorny and messy and mixed-up and human - and i am perfectly delighted by explorations of her character which delve into unravelling this tangle.
i just like her less as someone who is there to be right and beloved and uncriticised.
unless it's by ron. everyone should be uncomplicatedly adored by their wife guy.

@fishfingersalad it’s almost 2am but i can’t sleep and ts probably only going to be seen by like 5 people anyway so let it rip
this au started out as a self indulgent pocket sized au that I ignore as all my aus do…..then I couldn’t sleep and started imagining things im good at that. it started as an au I could do ship focus on and well I love lore I guess. despite all this the main story still focuses on my blorbos. maybe I will make a storyline for the main cast, if I can imagine things again
one day, all across (abridged) America (this is why I made that carolina/puerto rico/dc post btw), 50 children, each for 1 state, pop up at the same time, with varying ages, mostly tween years but with some variation up and down. while some are humanoid creatures, others are completely monstrous and lack sentience. however, they all share one common factor: a tag identifying what state they came from. The majority of the sentient ones assume this is their name, and that’s why they run with it.
conspiracy theorists and cryptid fans nationwide take notice of a bunch of shit happening overnight and develop “The 50” list. depending on if it’s commonly agreed upon what monster you are and if it’s commonly agreed upon what state you’re from, you’ll be ranked higher or lower on the list, with, of course, the highest ranking being the most sought after and hidden. Most of the higher tiered creatures are humanoid; it’s easier to blend in if you don’t look out of place
i forgot to mention Btw it’s like. myths and legends and shit too. i mentioned york being the pied Piper I also think the implication that the pied Piper is a monster is funny. also only one monster per person and
ofc my blorbos…….Everyone run now!!!! Ohio has just moved to a new city yay go girl But her coworkers are fucked up!!! There’s this bitch Sherry that she may or may not have a crush on and like her two little friends who absolutely know that. but Watch out there’s a freaky green man It’s Georgia her old friend Georgia. they were their first freelancer friends but geo Loves making deals for souls slash servitude slash their power slash take over the world slash he doesn’t know what souls are and neither do I. but they gotta be normal and not fight in the office.!!! And fight outside of a Walmart at 2 instead. he’s kinda bad at it though which is why only Ohio cares.
anywya Sherry keeps running into Ohio and Georgia fighting and you know Ohio’s kind of like. well if you see her when she’s not masking you’ll probably go insane huh. so Ohio has to keep wiping her memories and Sherry’s getting CRAZY deja vu.
this is so stressful Good thing Ohio’s got her trusty friends Iowa and Idaho!!! They’re causing chaos somewhere else but she’s always texting them and video chatting. hopefully they can meet up again soon!!
Utah is a paranormal investigator and currently georgia’s only the only person who’s currently made a deal with him. he’s made past deals but Ohio scared them off by ‘Do Not Be Afraid’ing them. it’s either that or they have to get killed lest the green fuck get too powerful and Ohio would rather not do that thanks. utah doesn’t even get anything in return he just wants to know wtf is going on tbh. Georgia stays at his apartment because he’s a squatter I guess
well That’s too bad I guess I can’t share any more because they’re just plotpoints. hey do you wanna know what the other freelancers are
Ohio: Angel (duh. So low because when she spawned she was literally in the middle of a bunch of people and blinded them with her corporeal form)
Georgia: Demon (the devil but literally this time. manages to be a little higher due to being able to teleport short distances. Stayed a little too close to home base, though.)
Iowa: Harpy (kept flying in the air like a dumbass everyone fucking saw him. denialists claim it to be a big bird. and they’re right.)
Idaho: Werewolf (he didn’t know until a full moon came out. oops.)
Carolina: Siren (keeps the bad singing voice.)
York: pied piper….
Wash: Shapeshifter
Florida: Alien (when he came on the fated day he rode in on a meteor instead of plopping in, breaking off the state from the rest of the US. its highly debated on whether or not the meteor itself was the creature.)
Maine: Bigfoot (but he shaves his whole body every day so he just looks like a big guy)
Connie: Kitsune
Wyoming: Fairy (despite being obvious, no one fuckinh lives in wyoming so he just flew far away immediately. fucks up the rankings of others by being spotted far away from his state.)
North: The Sandman (Both spawned across from eachother at the 2 state’s borders. They immediately declared eachother twins.)
South: Mare/Dream Eater (Their high ranking is very dependent on the confusion on which twin is which, since they work together to sleep and then feast.)
Tex: Ghost
you may see here I did not include Utah Did I forget No No No (kinda) I have an idea for what he is but i don’t intent to reveal it ever really. idk how id incorporate that. jsut know I searched really hard to find a creature that wasn’t a ghost that disrupted electromagnetic fields so that every time he went ghost hunting the machines would go off causing him to assert there was a ghost there. but no alas I did not find that
ok tahts it I think. for now. maybe. if you have any ideas for this background fucks wise or rnbs wise I would like them. for meThanks goodnight im gonna pass blout Out Out

5. Crowd Pleaser: Book you would recommend to almost anyone
Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis
Listen. It's really Great Literature. Also it's really good. You get it. Feels fantasy-esque enough to recommend to fantasy fans but also High Quality Literature enough to recommend to people that don't know how to have fun. Made me experience shrimp emotions and feel personally attacked and have blorbo thoughts but also it's like objectively really excellent stuff. Best thing C.S. Lewis ever wrote imo. Would recommend if you are religious or if you aren't. wow. I need to reread this book. It's not even that long; I read it in one day. If you write it will make you a better writer. if you are a human being it will make you understand something new about being a human being.
6. Dead Dove Do Not Eat: Book you would recommend to a select audience with a mountain of caveats
The Heretic by Nathan R. Allen Okay so the thing about this book is that it had serious pacing problems (in my opinion) and some things that made me cringe But. but. So many of the speculative elements are super unique and interesting and cool! Cool world, cool magic systems, compelling main plotline (once we finally got there lol) and character dynamics that made me want to corner the author somewhere and grab him by the shoulders and say WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY THIS??? (complimentary [I think]) So I would recommend it to select people that I think would be interested enough in the good stuff to see past the flaws. Now that I've issued my vague cautions, here's a vague pitch: Disabled Magic/Tech PhD student has to scout for state secrets by going undercover to train as an enhanced supersoldier in order to get his brother out of being drafted. If that sounds interesting to you, and you're interested in a really cool magic system that interacts cleverly with a decent spy-type plot, and you can handle the fact that it sometimes feels like a chore to get through, I might recommend it. Anyway. Just kid of frustrates me because this book was okay but it could have been so good if it was good, you know?
9. Compels Me Though: Okay, maybe not all of it made sense, but you had a great time anyway
The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard I have mixed feelings about the direction and execution of this book, but at the end of the day I enjoyed it very much. This was pitched to me as being similar to The Goblin Emperor, which I love, so I decided to check it out. I can definitely see the parallels, so I would pass that on as a recommendation. It feels like if the author read The Goblin Emperor and transparently took the elements she found the most compelling and took off with them. However. As a book I don't think it's very tightly executed and gets a little self-righteous and self-indulgent especially toward the end. It feels like the author started with a premise and then ran with it for a really long time as far as it would take her. A very very long book that doesn't finish quite where it started. I can see several reasons why someone could get very annoyed with this book. But it was such a nice read! I loved really getting to know the characters and the world (very extensive, interesting worldbuilding! And the world feels really vibrant and lived-in!). There was some very heartwarming and cathartic moments, and the characters were very endearing. The length and meandering pace allowed for a richness that really payed off in some places.

2024 writing wrapped !
just a silly little thing i wanted to do !!! just some stats for my fics + some of my fav writers at the end <3 im so excited for the new year !!!
Tumblr media
Fav Fic: I love you most - Jason Todd x reader - very much a self indulgent fic, and i go back to read it when im anxious. as someone w an anxiety disorder and other mental health issues i don't talk about much on here, a lot of the time i cope using fictional scenarios and other means, so this fic just means a lot to me
Least Fav Fic: Sub!Eris Vanserra Hcs - this could have been SO. much better, and each time i see it i cringe. i remember really wanting to write this but i just,,,, couldnt, so i settled for really half assed hcs. eris vanserra is also one of my absolute favorite characters of all tiem as well, but i never write for him bc A) the acotar fandom scares me B) i can never do him justice and these hc show that
Fic w Most Notes: NNN Hcs w The Hashiras - oughh this was a pain in the ass to write but. it was worth it. nearly 8.5k notes is CRAZY to me when i thought it sucked ass when i posted it... thanks yall
Longest Fic: Decent? - not including fics w multiple parts,,, probably this
Character I Wrote Most For: easily aaravos. he was my claim to fame and still one of my biggest blorbos. i love him so much
Most Requested Character: either Vox/Lute from Hazbin Hotel, Caitlyn from Arcane, or Jason Todd. they're probably my most asked for characters even to this day
Fav Fandom to Write For: i really LOVE to write for Bnha or DC because there is SOO much interaction and reblogs WITH SPECIFIC COMMENTS TOOOO its so nice in those fandoms specifically. and the writers from those fandoms r very kind as well
Least Fav Fandom to Write For: easily a tie between acotar and tdp. for acotar its because the fandom is incredibly heteronormative to the point where people would be annoyed when i used gender inclusive pronouns in my fics, and there was just a lot of arguing over headcanons that made me super uncomfy 😭 and then for tdp people kept asking me for dragon smut over fifteen times even when i said i wouldn't write beastiality so. yk. it was Weird. i do miss it tho.
Fav Character to Write For: Aaravos because i could characterize him in my own way and basically ignore canon bc he was just. My Guy. there was a point in time where i was THE ONLY active aaravos fic writer in the aaravos x reader tag and he was literally up to my interpretation. i also ADORE writing for Alastor because as someone who might be somewhere on the ace spectrum it is WONDERFUL to experiment with the idea of a character who isn't really a fan of sex, and he's so unique and interesting to write for. i also really like writing for Sevika (even tho i have NAWT written enough for her) because she's very much my type irl, and i just. love butches so much.
Fav Unfinished WIP: probably If Only, which was an adam x reader fic that only has two parts and i never really got around to finishing it- BUT I WANTT TOOO
Fav Fic Writer(s): i could never choose just one, but here r some writers whom ive been absolutely hooked on this year !! most of these r my mutuals or just lovely people with just as lovely writing :)
@peachdues , @mostly-imagines, @flametrashira , @luca-star1ight , @rueclfer , @graveyardcannibal , @bigfatbimbo , @sniigura , @hanasnx @archangeldyke-all
obviously this is not every writer i follow as i follow so many AND I LOVE THEM ALL but these r just my top ten whom ive gone back to reread their stuff again and again !!! i adore yall and i recommend everyone check them out!!!

Fanfiction Writing Asks: 38, 46, and 61 (for Penumbra)
Thank you for the ask!
38. What is your most self-indulgent posted story?
I think all of my fics are each a little self indulgent in their owns ways! List of things I love to include in a fic as a little treat for myself is: - There Was Only One Bed trope - Dancing (especially ballroom) - Flower language and symbolism - Angst, Hurt/Comfort, More Angst
Really fic writing is me just indulging myself as I drag the blorbos through The Horrors™.
46. If you could only write one type of AU for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Oh wow that's a really hard one. I think my favourite kind of AUs are fairytale/fantasy AUs and I could easily come up with numerous fics based around that!
61. In [Penumbra], what’s your favorite scene that you wrote?
Another hard one lol oof there were nemerous scenes in Penumbra that I really loved in the end. This scene is one of the smaller ones, but ones of my favourites as it's really where Adrien's arc started to move forwards in a positive way.
For the first time since he’d woken up, Adrien felt the consuming black waters that flooded his mind calm a little. They were still there and ready to drown him with one misstep, but as he sat there on the couch with Marinette a short space away from him he felt the effects of her soothing presence. He liked how excitable she would get over how good the pizza was or the bizarre visuals of the film. He was Adrien and not Chat Noir currently, but her attitude towards him wasn’t all that different to how it would be otherwise. He felt guilty that she was probably trying so hard for his sake. But even with the lingering questions between them, she’d told him that she could wait again. She was there with him and she didn’t expect anything of him than to just be there also. Maybe just a little longer… he thought. He could keep Adrien’s existence just a little longer.

The way you write Ingo and Akari's interactions with each other never fails to warm my heart. And after seeing how he is with Rei in oop, I'm so excited to see how Emmet interacts with Akari. And let's not forget how your Cyllene is with Rei, and how she considers him Her Boy. I just love the intergenerational relationships you have going on. Kids deserve to have good adults in their lives, especially ones like Akari and Rei who have had it so rough.
There are... a lot of things I don't like about many interpretations of Emmet in fandom, but one I especially dislike is when he's overly rude or dismissive towards the kids. You avoid that trap neatly, though that's no surprise because the way you write him is one of my all time favorites. That's maybe a bit beside the point though.
In any case, I loved the little prompt snippets you wrote yesterday about Ingo with both Akari and Rei. The one you wrote with Rei was both cool and heartbreaking with how his dedication and care was the only thing keeping him going, all so Rei might have the chance to live. And the one Akari was so sweet and heartwarming, with how gentle his love for her was. She doesn't know it, but Ingo's home isn't a place, like her it's the people he cares about, and she's included in that too now. In this au where he's so close to her, it wouldn't be complete without her there.
WAAAAH THIS IS SUCH A NICE ASK?? THANK YOU?? thank you so much... i'm gonna cry this is so sweet. thank youuuu... i uh rambled a lot about characters and relationships so i'm going to put the rest of that under. a cut i think. contd:
anyway. YEAH re: kids deserving Good Adults. tbh whenever i see a kid on their own in fiction it activates some kind of primal pack bonding instinct in me to protect them, so this is like, vicarious parenting. and i just REALLY like characters who are Good With Kids, it's like one of my fav character traits that makes me instantly love them. and i love all the different ways that can come through, like, like you said, cyllene who isn't so great at saying how she feels but has SO adopted these two. so. yes. this is primarily self indulgent. it all comes back to my love of picking apart character motivations lol
also WHO is making emmet not nice to kids. i'll fight them. i'll duel them in the street right now. why is everyone else so WRONG about my BLORBO. i think- not to Also get sidetracked, lol, but- i think emmet is someone who's extremely straightforward with everything he says, and doesn't back down, but the critical thing is that all that blunt directness and stubbornness is backed by an intense motivation to help and protect others. so that's what i'm trying to channel when he's with rei or anyone else—specifically because he doesn't try to hedge his words or anything, it is so obvious at all times that he Cares and wants to Help. which can be like, intensely validating/reassuring/trust-building. like short and direct and not good at subtlety don't have to be negative asshole-building character traits!! ...but uhh anyway what were we talking about again
ingo ficlets right. YEAHH THANK YOU... i think in comparison to emmet ingo is like. actually good with people, in the sense that he can read peoples' emotions from their words and actions much better, and is very understanding and patient. and obviously he's also driven by that same compassion. trying really hard not to just make this about comparing how i characterize them both ANYWAY. and i am giving him the Parenting Instincts, lol, which, i think he has an immediate reaction of "oh i need to help you" when he sees anyone who's lost/hurt/confused, but it's stronger with kids bc they obviously tend to have less ability to support themselves. so with akari in the adoption fic i keep gesturing towards and Not Finishing, and rei in the ficlet who got separated from his usual crew, he just adopts them very quickly lol. (there's also something to be said there for how i usually write amnesiac-ingo as having a kind of busted self-perception, as we've covered, so he's outsourcing his motivation and desire to continue living to others, which is sort of a Not Great aspect of this, but uhh that's getting sidetracked again)
anyway YEAH!! his home is his loved ones!! yessss exactly!! you have it spot on, i think in that snippet after akari brings it up he does have that thought of, all he has to judge his "home" by is a vague vibe that it was good and he misses it. what if it isn't as perfect as his non-memory thinks it is? what if it can't/won't make space for akari? in which case i think that despite how much he misses it, he would be fully prepared to walk out of it for her. because like you said, his home isn't a place, it's the people!! so if akari can't belong there, then it isn't his home, either. (not that it would ever come to that in reality)
so. yes. as you can probably tell i could go on about this subject forever. just adhd tangent after tangent about kids, and the ways they get treated, and what it says about characters, and character motivations in general, and bitching about how my blorbo gets misinterpreted. but. my point is. this was a very nice ask i am going to print it out and tape it in my diary thank you

what are some oc projects you've been working on, if any? do you have a favorite oc or one that you've had since you were little?
I do actually have a Big Project that I want to get a bit more done on before I start actively posting about it, but I will say that the plan is for it to be a candygore webcomic. It's gonna be based on some OC designs I originally made to be cute charms/shirt prints but then I named them and next thing I knew I had a story that'll take a few years to tell. I'm very excited for it though, as I really wanna bring something new to the table for candygore, even if it is a very niche aesthetic!! I wouldn't say I've had OCs since I was "little" as as a kid I had my dolls and figurines so they weren't fully original, yknow? Plus I liked drawing little characters a lot and always gave em names and themes, I've always liked character design, but they rarely got development. However at around 14-15 I started making OCs which were. Varying Degrees Of Original (a fair few were Creepypastas lmao plus a ROTG OC. Willow I miss u bbygirl <3) But my TRUE favourites started to get created when I was around 18 and they've been able to be developed since then since I got access to digital art programs and therefore could make silly little doodles.
My NEWEST favourite is my self-indulgent Yakuza OC but I mostly ramble about him in Discord, but we got some older favourites:
The Three Amigos, aka Hettie Fontaine (a magic user who somehow ended up getting mixed up with demons), Demonette (her self-assigned best friend and demon who loves girls as much as she loves fire) and Mono Monreau (Demonette's goth half brother who has suddenly been dragged into the demonic half of his heritage). I love these three, they're so silly
Agatha Alletage, the Time Demon. She's mental and fucked up and beautiful and I love her so much. She fully owns the fact that she belongs in Hell and yet she's very polite and courteous and surprisingly kind, but unfortunately she also highly enjoys her work, which involves studying and experimenting with time....but her methods are involve more bloodshed than you'd like.
Florence Farina, the Cupcake Demon. A newer one who's almost a foil to Agatha, in that she's also a serial killer but doesn't even seem to ACKNOWLEDGE she's in Hell. She's a sopping wet cat of a woman who always looks like she's on the verge of snapping or bursting into tears, who knows. There's Many Things Wrong With Her and I love her. Would love to work on her more
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hope you enjoyed the long-as-hell response that I am known and presumably loved for here at Tumblr dot com <3 Genuinely thank you for asking about my blorbos, I need to chat about them more and actual develop these ^u^ This don't even cover my fandom OCs lmao

I yelled about your blorbo for like two google doc pages, now you have to hear me yell about mine, it's only fair. You dug your own brainrot hole (and mine. thank you.) by answering these humongous asks
Nezha looks like he's in his twenties and he's absolutely been in and out of young life crises for his entire fucking existence, someone hand him some soda so he'll be lively at the party and not pass out before it even starts. I headcanon that he can get similar sugar highs that kids can. Give him a bottle of soda, and he'll be sweet and active for the next few hours and then crash.
He is. a little bit pudgy. just enough to cup his face like a pet and it be cute. His reactions to being called cute are either his knee-jerk "NO, I'M NOT >:(" or "Yes, I am, now pet me. This is not a request." His beloved shifu, Erlang Shen, adores him for this.
SPEAKING OF ERLANG SHEN. Nezha and Erlang have a very adorable son-adopted father dynamic because Nezha needs a good paternal figure dammit leave me to my fluff. Erlang trains Nezha when the latter of the two isn't dropping on his feet from exhaustion, and when he is, Erlang isn't shy about carrying him to bed.
Nezha's attitude towards MK is in the same ballpark as his attitude towards SWK. He thinks MK is reckless, but that he has potential if he can learn to fucking plan ahead, for the love of all that is sweet and carbonated.
He likes Mei but every now and again, he has a crisis over the fact that she's distantly related to Ao Lie, who's the nephew of Ao Guang. Nezha is more afraid of Ao Guang than anything else since he keeps having nightmares about that One Legendary Moment in his myth.
Something Nezha says once in a blue moon is that he has three homes, and one of them is a cramped apartment with his little brother. He's referencing MK when he says this. Sometimes he'll also say it's in the bowels of a volcano hidden away from the rest of the world, and then he's referencing Red Son.
NEZHA HAS FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS. He doesn't go anywhere without them. They have charms on them that match people he cares about. He has charms for Iron Fan, Erlang Shen, MK, Red Son, Mei, Sandy, SWK, and charms for two OCs, Lian Lanhua who belongs to that-one-enby-onyx, and Bai Xian, my snake pseudo nun who has some really great lore I'll go into detail about in another ask. If I named my snake badly, please inform me. (Bai Xian is she/he/they, Lian is she/her)
INHALES
Ramble over, I hope you enjoyed this completely self indulgent tangent about my interpretation of Nezha ft. OC mentions + MK, Red, and Erlang.
...my autism is showing. Oh well. Shrug.
Honestly, I accepted my fate the second you sent your first ask xjxjdjjd. I will gladly listen to all blorbo ramblings.
I absolutely adore it when people make Nezha and MK have a brother like bond. And I really really like the way that you have him interacting with Erlang Shen! (He also absolutely deserves All of the soda in the universe.)
His iffy relationship with Mei also makes complete sense! And the fact that he feels close enough to Red Son and MK to consider their homes his secondary homes is delightful.
I do genuinely enjoy your rambles! And your OCs sound interesting.
As for names, I suggest double-checking possible characters in Mandarin and Cantonese and the like for the chosen name and cross reference those with other words/names to make sure it all makes sense together! There is a little bit of leeway with stories like LMK since half of the characters have names like "demon bull king", so it's ok if a name doesn't make 100% complete sense as a normal name in our universe, but it is still always good to check! You never wanna have that moment when you realize your character's name accidentally translates to something unintentionally weird like Canned Fish because you didn't google it (I actually saw somebody legitimately name their character this in another fandom before someone pointed it out).

Drop the blorbo list! Tell us why you like them!
Prompt from here!
I have a lot,,,,, Some I haven't even yapped about on here yet,,,,,, Imma break them up by fandom though to make reading easier haha
Identity V:
-Andrew Kreiss:
I like Andrew for a lot of reasons! His design, gameplay, overall theme, there's so much I could ramble on and on about. I remember what really cemented him on my fave list was parts of his personality and general character tidbits (one being sun sensitivity). Additionally, a lot of what I consider to be my "weirder" interests happen to align with him. Sometimes it's easier to delve into them and be my authentic cringe self with the guise of character deep dives haha.
All in all, I think he's an interesting character. Kinda my go to guy to say "Ah yes my son" when speaking about fictional characters.
-Emma Woods:
One of my faves from when I first started! She actually was one of the 3 that drew me in tbh (I called her the "cute gardener girl" back then). I remember being convinced I would main her, but alas.... only in duos. Despite this, she's stands strong as one of my top faves. I find her backstory/manor game to be really interesting - and weirdly entertaining considering the drama she causes in the game. I really enjoy her general "cutesy but dangerous" vibe. I've always been a sucker for that troupe.
Additionally, Lady Truth is one of my favorite spin off characters in the game! I love a good mystery with a female lead!! I honestly hope we see more of her outside of anniversary events.... She has so much good lore potential!
-Kurt Frank:
I didn't choose the Kurt life.... the Kurt like chose ME. No seriously I never would have guessed I'd end up mailing him. The percypocolypse does things to a man. I'm glad it did though. Kurt has honestly become one of my fave characters, I find him so silly and interesting. While his deductions are...interesting to read, I loved his manor game story! I wish there was more content of him (ex. translated twitter replies) I could look at for him :/ That aside, as a fellow daydreamer, I find Kurt's attitude contagious and his rambles fun. I wish he didn't die before sharing said story, but whatever. Maybe another event with him leading it will appear to fill the void with silly.
-Martha Behamfil:
Not only was she my first rescue main, but Martha helped me figure out my gender (real) (not clickbait). So uh, I do love her a lot for that. I also love her general themes of independence, while still keeping in touch with one's femininity in a way (ex. chasing her dreams to be a pilot while also indulging in a love life). I also just honestly love her outfits and gameplay as well. She's never not slayed in my eyes thus far. I have a very soft spot for her dskhafj -Ann
Annnn!!!! My lovely hunter main. She's sunk her cat claws into my heart and I do not wish for her to let go. I honestly love everything about her. Her backstory is hella engaging (NETEASE GIVE ME MORE FOOD), her abilities are fun, and honestly I find Apostle funny.
She was very quick to becoming one of my faves. I honestly could gush about her forever, but Im trying to keep these explanations semi fair!
-Michiko
I love Michi..... She brings me great calm and reminds me of my grandmother (she had a painting of geishas in her house when I was little). She's one of the few characters I've genuinely nearly cried after reading their backstory.
While I don't main her much anymore, I can't say I have ever stopped loving Michi as a character/looking at cool content of her. She's just gRAHHhh /POS
Fnaf:
-Mangle What's not to love about Mangle? They're like a silly dog. And I honestly fuck with that. I also just love there concept as like a robot nerd, but yk. My precious mungle fungle tungle bungle.
-Toy Bonnie
I honestly was very "meh" towards him for a good while. UNTIL I like essentially got kin assigned him by my old amino friends. He was basically my mascot for a bit so like I hold a lil bit of "hehe lil guy" to him.
-Ballora
I was OBSESSED with her as a kid. I cosplayed her, I drew her, I made fics, honestly I like was fully ready to see this crazy ballerina robot lady attack people. Alas, she only got scooped... LUCKILY THE FANDOM FILLED THE VOID THOUGH!! I love seeing neat content with her!
Don't Starve Together:
-Wendy My silly main! I mentally adopted her and Abagail a while ago hehe. I find them really fun to play, plus like... I think I just like semi morbid but cutesy characters so, HELL YEAH. I'm still learning the best way to play her, but I find it a fun relaxing experience to do. Overall I associate her with great calm and zen. She's a great gal.
MFMM: (Shortened list so I don't put the whole cast)
-Miss Fisher She is the moment, she is iconic, she IS Miss Fisher. No character has made me feel as empowered as she has. Like it's actually insane. She is another character that I associate with my grandma as well as they introduced me to the series itself. It truly wouldn't be Miss Fisher without me remembering the beautiful lady posed on the covers of the books on my grandmother's end table. Its been overall a very nice piece of media to sink my teeth into... NOT TO MENTION THERES SO MUCH OF IT!! I HAVENT EVEN FINISHED THE BOOKS!
-Dot
I love Dot. In both mediums of the series. Her character growth and overall attitude complements Miss Fisher's perfectly and is honestly such a delight to see. I also find her own moments of sleuthing to be really fun! I love when she has that strong confidence. TLDR: I wanna pinch her cheeks

Blog Intro/Info
🐾🌊 Hello! Welcome to my self-indulgent comfort blog. You can call me Pip or Doodle, and here’s some info about me/this blog:
General:
This blog will primarily contain content related to my F/Os, ships, and other self-comfort topics or things that bring me joy.
I invite any/all friendly interaction, if you feel so inclined!
This is a strictly SFW blog (minus like, some harmless suggestive humor on occasion, which will be tagged).
I intend to keep discourse or topics related to it far away from this blog as it is a comfort space for me. Only in the event that something becomes a serious and relevant issue will I bring it up, and only sparingly at that.
About me:
24 y/o
Autistic
AFAB, Demifluid, Outherine, Cassgender
she/they/mew
Asexual Panromantic, Bambi Lesbian
Writer/Amatuer visual artist
Misc. interests include animals, marine life, and too many fandoms to reasonably list ehe. I’d love to talk/ramble about any of these topics!
Fictional Others:
Romantic:
Feferi Peixes (Homestuck) 🦑💗 - My longstanding romantic interest from the time I was 13 ❤️. (I wanna make it CRYSTAL CLEAR up front that since I “met” her at 13, she has continually aged alongside me in my mind. Hence, she is 24, the same age as me. It’s very much a childhood friends-to-lovers type relationship. I DO NOT condone minor-adult relationships. Icky.)
Sangonomiya Kokomi (Genshin Impact) 🐟💙 - …Okay so sue me, I have a type and it’s Pink Fishy Princesses lol. I’ve known her for about 3 years now, since I first got sucked into the addiction that is Genshin. She’s actually the reason I started playing.
Leah (Stardew Valley) 🌲🧡 - Self-explanatory. Everyone has their Stardew Blorbo, and she has been mine from the very first time I played the game years ago. She is the one to help me live out my cottagecore dreams~
Platonic:
Karkat Vantas (Homestuck) 🦀♋ - Early on, I actually had quite strong romantic inclinations towards him, but as he and I aged thru high school, I realized that I more so saw him as a best friend. I still hold him near and dear to my heart as my crabby patron troll and one of my all-time favorite characters. Plus he’s happily together with his boyfriend Dave Strider, so it all worked out hehe
Fluttershy (My Little Pony) 🦋🐎 - Adorable, shy, kind and sweet pony. She has been a favorite character of mine since I was a kid, in large part because I related to her soooo much due to my (then undiagnosed) social anxiety and shy, introverted nature. For that reason I’ve always gotten along with her and consider her a close friend who understands my experiences.
Familial:
Team Free Will (Supernatural) 📜🥧👼 - This includes Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, and Castiel. These three effectively got me through the most challenging time in my life thus far. They became like a second family to me, with Dean and Castiel being like fathers to me, and Sam being like an uncle.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru (Danganronpa) 🎓📚 - My precious son!! I have had an attachment and deep need to protect this boy since I first played Danganronpa. He acts almost exactly like I did as an undiagnosed autistic kid–too loud, strict about me and others following the rules, overly emotional and passionate about things. No harm shall befall this boy on my watch ;w;
Pets:
Mew (Pokemon) 🐈🔮 - My favorite creature in fiction by far. I have dreamed of having a real Mew since I was 10 years old, and had a Mew as one of my first and most consistent imaginary friends. Plus, having a Mew is like having every Pokemon at once since they can transform to any species, so it’s a double win!

Just wanted to repost my rant I posted as a reblog of Celes vs Rumi, so you can put it as propaganda on Celes vs. whoever she goes against in the second round:
Please vote for Celes guys, my ultimate blorbo and I want to rant about my FF6 retelling/rewrite I have a very long outline for and how I have developed her character in it but I'm not sure if anyone would want to hear it, so I will be a little brief. But as a teaser for you in case everyone is interested (especially whoever it was who submitted her to the bracket):
I have been obsessed with her for like the last 3 years. At least my interpretation of her I've seen different ones in fanfics and such, and I expanded on her character a lot in my fanfic thingy than a game that had limited space for content and dialogue for how long ago it was written and was juggling a ton of character could. The way I write her, she sets herself up as someone impossibly prideful and dignified and ruthless and intimidating, someone whose identity is built on being a Heroic General who is above normal human life, something frighteningly pure, and that's probably because that's the kind of stoic, militaristic idea of greatness that a kind of empire like the one she grew up in would value, and I se this as because of deep-seated guilt - of course she has to cling onto this "great man" emblem of being something more than human and not able to connect to other people besides as allies reaching the same pragmatic goal because the realm of history and "heroism" accepts horrible cruelties as long as the overall story is one of glory and nobility, by the standards of a human being she is horrible and deserves none of this, and it isn't lost on her that having betrayed the people she is fighting for means her past actions were unjustified and for nothing. And that's the flip side of this, she is also less than human in her mind, part of the romance of stoic heroism is the acceptance of death and knowing that your life doesn't matter for any inherent value (that would be cruel, how could you value yourself who have done so many horrible things and your pathetic personal happiness and friendship and having fun over those who are actually good people, that's self-indulgent and cruel) except for what it achieves. I definitely write her as someone with a contrast between just how young she is and how she acts, but at the same time for all her pretenses she is still has an intense romanticism about the world typical of her age that makes everything all or nothing, she is in the end a performer trying to create an image of herself even if she would say performing is below her dignity.
AND THE SECOND HALF OF THE GAME - the isolation from humanity as the world literally crumbles around her and with it any framework in which she could live with herself or justify her actions, one big chance I made in my "retelling" story is that the first half of the game now takes place over a timeline of like 2.5 years or so, and so this is not about thinking you will always have hope and you can come back from this but that even if she can't justify her own existence, even if it would be neater to just die and let it all be over, she can't abandon those she has fought with and grown to love to a twisted and mangled world. There's no hope, no victory, to retreat from her guilt and shame, just the compassion and love she has for her friends that pierces through the world like the song she sang at the opera long ago, that tells her she won't just leave them and makes her the most human of all despite her attempts to deny all semblance of humanity for herself.
I could go on a lot longer... but please vote for her and if anyone is interested in the outline I wrote (it's basically a "retelling" of the game but with more depth to the characters, story and themes and also taking place in sort of its own world where everything has different names like a serial numbers filed off OC to give me more freedom for world building).

After putting it off for a while, I finally finished this very self-indulgent piece based on the final boss of Miitopia, featuring my OC Kandy as the Great Sage. ...Ok I have a lot of stuff I want to unload about the backstory and context of this piece so read more if you're interested in my probably incomprehensible rambles 😭 Basically I like Miitopia a totally Normal Amount and my newest playthrough made my brain go CRAZY which lead to this piece. Also there will be Miitopia endgame spoilers so ya
Basically the character as I've mentioned is my childhood OC Kandy in her revenge arc. I've been casually inserting her into some of my original work/fanfiction as a mischief maker that just wants some attention. She was originally a Mary Sue that I dropkicked as soon as I got in my "grr Mary Sue bad!!" phase but now I'm just fully embracing her OP-ness. I think it's fitting for her to start as the benevolent, powerful, and well-liked Great Sage who later gets corrupted into the godly Darker Lord, so I assigned her as such in my latest playthrough of Miitopia.
As I was playing this new run though of Miitopia, I decided to write a mini-fanfiction of sorts which just serves as an excuse for my blorbos to cross over and defeat evil together. I've done this for my past playthroughs and this one was no exception. However, since my own original character is playing as one of the most important NPCs in the game (And happens to be the only character not from a specific piece of media), I decided to add a little twist to this pass of the fanfic and make a sort of Alternate Scenario type deal.
In the original Miitopia, the Great Sage got corrupted by the Dark Curse following the defeat of the Dark Lord, which transformed them into the Darker Lord (Love the naming conventions of this game). In my AU, basically the Great Sage knew about the Dark Curse and purposely used the heroes to defeat the Dark Lord and take it for themself.
The Darker Lord ends up being the final boss of the main story of Miitopia, complete with multiple phases that lead up to an utterly BADASS confrontation against The Darkest Lord who is just a giant sun god and UGH IT'S SO GOOD YOU GUYS. And the music??? Amazing as well. I seemed out to recreate that epic feeling the boss fight gave me. But for this piece I decided to turn the Darkest Lord into sort of like a Stand that just menacingly looms over Kandy which she controls. There is a specific design for when the Great Sage goes evil mode in the game, and I did design Kandy's version of it, but I guess I just forgot about it. Plus, having this crazy little guy standing in front of their unfiltered godly form just made a cool visual so! :) I like to think that in this pass of my fanfic, Kandy's Darker Lord demon form probably comes out in desperation after the sun god is defeated, complete with the cool floating hands. This is obviously innaccurate to the actual ordering of these designs in the actual game but it's my fanfic and I get to break as many rules as I please >:)
Ok that explanation was probably pretty underwhelming but the tl;dr is that I started writing a min-fanfic where the Great Sage, played by my OC, is very evil from the beginning and only goes crazier from the power they get upon transforming into the Darker Lord.
I did want to make an accompanying comic where this character absolutely wipes the floor of my Mitopia team because she's just so Powerful and Awesome but that would reveal the types of characters in my Miitopia team, consequently revealing some of the fandoms I'm in and I just don't think the world is ready for that! But maybe when I reject my humanity I will not only make but publish my Miitopia team and them getting along and fighting evil <3 that's my ramble for this stupid art piece 😭

I'm on a cruise right now so of course I'm thinking about my blorbos going on a cruise too. Idk why maybe there's wraith demons aboard a particular ship and the company is trying to cover it up. The point is: Nuns on a Boat. I'm sure the Vatican forks over the necessary funds, probably for a week-long trip, enough time to investigate, plan, execute, and clean up. The original plan was to send a small team of two or three, but Ava probably pesters the new Pope into paying for the whole gang to go (she definitely plays the Jesus card).
It goes like this: the official OCS sisters enter as a group of 4 (Mother, Camila, Yasmine, and Dora) while the remaining 4 split into 2 pairs, Avatrice undercover as newlyweds on a honeymoon (it's good practice for the real thing, Bea!) and Mary riding as a solo passenger (hiding Lilith in her room). They probably have a contact in the ship's crew that sneaks them keycards and pass codes to restricted areas and makes arrangements for them to be in the right place at the right time for recon purposes. I don't know what the demons are doing, maybe planning some kind of mass possession within an enclosed space, but whatever it is will require asskicking through overpriced shops and probably flinging several pool chairs around to solve.
Assorted ideas:
1. The list of shore excursions has to be pried from Ava's hands by Mary because The Second Coming of Christ canNOT be trusted with them. Not because she doesn't know what she's doing, but because if they let her go unchecked she'll have their days booked 6 ways to the Sabbath with several activities overlapping each other. Baby girl wants to do EVERYTHING, time constraints be damned!
2. Beatrice is a little nervous about their cover story, not because she doesn't love Ava or doesn't see them getting married eventually, but because she's still battling some shame about being affectionate in public. This is, of course, in stark contrast to Ava, who is ecstatic over the chance to be shamelessly close to Bea with the tacit excuse of the mission. She drags them to every couple-y event aboard the ship and has no qualms about basically climbing her girlfriend whenever she can get away with it.
3. The God Squad is properly outfitted for just about every situation that could come up, and that includes swimming. For the actual nuns in the party, this means tasteful one-pieces that still earn respectful wolf whistles from Ava and the requisite number of sexy nun jokes. Ava wears a predictably tiny bikini that drives the boys and girls wild while Bea wears a more modest two-piece that drives Ava wild. Mary draws all the attention in her suit that shows off her killer arms and excellent abs. Lilith has to be coaxed into her suit because she's self-conscious. Jillian has probably come up with some way to either reverse or hide her scales, but the result is probably a lot of burn tissue that is difficult to conceal. Ava buys her a long-sleeve swim shirt with some silly design that Lilith threatens her life over but wears anyway.
4. Circling back to the excursions, an argument breaks out about which they should do, and whether they should stick together or split up. It gets a little heated until Mother shuts it down with "We will be doing the dolphin swim and that's final." "But why that one?" "Because I want to do the dolphin swim."
5. Ava is banned from the ship buffet after the third time she tries to dispense ice cream directly into her mouth
6. Camila gets a lot of attention from the fellas, and she gets permission from a quietly proud Mother to indulge them so long as she gets more information for the mission
7. Yasmine sweeps the trivia contests, winning all manner of silly knickknack prizes that she cherishes.
8. We don’t know much about Dora but I'm going to assume that she’s a prodigy in mini golf and collects a following of children who ooo and aaa every time she hits a hole-in-one. She and Mary clown on the competition in shuffleboard
9. Some guy sees Ava by herself (Bea is probably getting them ice cream since she's not banned) and attempts to shoot his shot. It's Ava, unfairly charming and distressingly cute, so he's practically bewitched two sentences into the conversation, but Ava's just being her normal, puppy self. Bea sees them and starts getting jealous, threatening to crush her ice cream cone to bits, but when Ava sees her coming back, she lights up with a "heeeyyy Boo-Bear, there you are! I missed you!" And immediately abandons the dude to press against her girlfriend. The guy makes brief eye contact with Bea before wisely choosing to walk away. Better luck next time, bro.
10. The tables turn when Beatrice is lounging in the sun while Ava is away (probably pestering Lilith) and an interested lady sits next to her and starts making small talk. Beatrice is extremely polite and doesn't quite pick up on the fact she's being flirted with, but Lilith has to punch Ava in the arm to stop her lighting up like an angry glowstick at the sight. Ava does march over there though and turns the puppy energy up to 11, wrapping her arms around Beatrice, nuzzling their cheeks together and pressing in until she's basically in Bea's lap. Bea is flustered and embarrassed, but the lady catches on to what's what and gracefully makes her exit. Ava drags Bea to their room for some quality time while Lilith does her best to look like she doesn't know them.
