- Lucille is French/German. She was born in Germany and lived there before she came to Romania so she’s got a slight accent.

- She’s genuinely sociopathic and only really smiles/expresses any sort of joy when she’s tormenting another person.

- She has an unhealthy love of power and violence. She loves blood guts and gore and doesn’t particularly mind when she’s covered in it

- She also has an unhealthy obsession with her lady which in the re version of Lucille it would be Lady D and/or Miranda. She loves the power they have and the violence they cause. She’s eternally devoted to them and extremely obsessed with everything about them. She’s down BAD

- She doesn’t like most people because she just doesn’t see any value in them. She only cares about a select number of people and the people she usually does care about she cares about a little TOO much

- She has bite scars and such on her body that are covered by her dress: she really likes them and is a little perverse about how much she likes it. She sees it as a blessing to be marked by the ones she’s so devoted to, she’s honoured and encourages them to do it more and take anything and everything from her if they so desire. She’s pretty damn content if she’s just suddenly murdered by lady d because she sees it as an honour. Nasty bitch probably tells her victims how lucky they are to be the lady’s meal and such while she’s butchering them

- She gets really jealous and possessive easily. She’s silent about it but she knows when someone’s gone too far (in her mind) and she needs to get rid of them immediately

- She keeps in the basement for the most part, probably for the best cause she’s insane

- She’s really good at masking how crazy she is by just appearing stoic and aloof (and just fucking mean she’s a bitch) but in private and internally she’s just- I cannot express enough how sick and twisted this woman is. She doesn’t express like any emotions ever and when she does it’s unsettling.

- She likes to purposely try to get people killed by making them look bad, tripping them, etc. literally anything that would prompt them to be killed on accident or by the lovely lady herself. Lucille that isn’t a silly game it’s called murder

- She’s been in the castle a long time and knows all of the shortcuts and hiding spaces. If the lady can’t find you, she will. She’s too good at her job to be killed, she knows that, and she kinda flaunts that

- She used to be a nun before she came into her position (in both stories of her) wonder what happened there… (I say to make this sound more mysterious)

- She’s always been sociopathic, though. She does have some trauma but it in no way shaped her into being the woman she is now, she’s always been like this. She just gets to be even meaner now and get away with it

- She was probably one of the sociopathic children when she was young that killed small animals and dissected them for fun. It’s what made her get sent away to a religious convent to be a nun. It worked until it didn’t. She was ‘Sister Lucille’ for a while until she snapped and disappeared

- She likes the winter, she likes the cold and snow. No real reason why she just does

- She also likes spiders and really any predatory insect. Wonder why that is…

- Hates men. HATES THEM. Definitely a lesbian at least. She thinks men are beneath her, probably calls them “man-things” too. She’s the type to worship the female figure and by worship I mean worship the specific women she obsessed with

- At the end of her story (non-re) she goes completely insane and dies. Probably. Still mapping it out but I personally believe she should be put down👍

- She likes to shit talk people. She doesn’t really like to talk to people but she sure knows a lot and has a lot of dirt on others. Shes got some of the best gossip just from things she’s witnessed. She usually does keep to herself for the most part, though: it makes her more mysterious and intimidating (in her mind)

- She’s a watcher, she likes to silently watch people from the shadows and learns things she’s not supposed to which she then either exposes or uses against a person. She’s such a bully.

- Her favourite colour is green, hence her dress which is a very dark green, almost black. No reason why I just associate it with her.

- She’s supposed to look generally pale and not the most healthy because she just isn’t. She always has some eye bags because she doesn’t get enough sleep and doesn’t eat enough either. She looks older than she is for the same exact reasons.

- That apron of hers has to be washed a lot to get the stains out because she is staining it constantly. She’s got backups for when one is ruined.

-Lucille is SUPER manipulative and really good at convincing people to do what she wants. She puts on a false nice act and totally fucks you over she’s so evil

Bonus: for her og story if anyone’s actually interested in that lol:

- She’s obsessed with her lady and wants to be with her forever. She wants her to turn her to a vampire so she can be her eternal companion and serve her for eternity. The countess does not want to do this because she believes it’s wrong and will ruin Lucille’s life. Lucille thinks otherwise.

- The countess is trying to be good. She hates being a vampire and all the blood and death that follows it. Lucille is infatuated by it and wants in.

- Lucille hunts people for her and drags them back which the countess eventually forbade because she’s horrified by it. Lucille instead hunts animals for her but does keep trying to tempt her with killing someone. She’s also been subtly trying to manipulate her lady too, it only somewhat works when she’s starving herself

- Lucille has been attacked by her lady at least once and she loved it. She encourages her to feed on her if she needs to, the countess refuses. She actually gave Lucille a silver broach to wear so it keeps her away from hurting her: Lucille hates it.

- This storyline is a lot of Lucille trying to get a girl the countess has grown very attached to killed because she’s too close to her lady: Lucille’s so so so jealous and obsessed she’s like Mrs Danvers if she was even worse and liked to kill people.

- The countess really is a sweetheart— she just wants to be human and live a normal life but she can’t and Lucille is also making it her personal mission to make that significantly more difficult. Getting rid of Lucille would be ideal but only Lucille knows about the countess’s true nature and how to help/care for her. So they kinda need each other. We be doing toxic yuri type things over here🫶🫶

First we have A New Day, A New Journey by Huehxolotl. This fic focuses primarily on Miorine and Prospera's relationship after the events of the finale (but pre-timeskip) and mostly involves Miorine being The Bestest Fiancée She Could Ever Be while also putting up with constant agonies (i.e: Eri and Prospera). It's great.

Next there's And Someday, Together-- by Misthios. Another pre-timeskip setting, this one is also in Miorine's POV as she waits for Suletta to wake up after defeating Quiet Zero. Just a really good fic. A lot of good dialogue (again, Mio and Prospera's dynamic is incredibly well-written) and Suletta especially shines when she finally gets a chance.

Lastly for g-witch, there's Grounded by yuusha-lavender. Again pre-timeskip (you're seeing some of my bias here), but this one focuses more specifically on Suletta's recovery as she struggles both physically and mentally with how much she's changed. Miorine is very sweet. Suletta cries. It's great.

As for Warrior Nun, it was a struggle to find some that I haven't already recommended, but I think I managed.

Firstly, there's hey, accidents happen by @omomoification. Essentially, Beatrice is a firefighter. Ava gets hit by a car (she's fine). Can I make it any more obvious? The dialogue in this one is fantastic, and it's my humble opinion that this fic specifically is severely underrated. Fantastic.

Then there's the fortune you seek is in another cookie by @piratekane. Phenomenal dynamics in this one; it's about friendship and closeness and living and breathing and it's also about fortune cookies. Miscommunication and tenderness weaving together to create something beautiful!! Once more; fantastic.

hiii! like i said in my last post i spent a big portion of august being sick :| which involved spending like a Lot of the time sitting around playing pikmin 4, going "oh i think im thinking so hard about pikmin that its making me more tired?" and then playing more pikmin anyways. i 100%d this game guys it was so serious

books/comics/written media: paladins strength by ursula vernon: this is part of the saints of iron series, but i dont think context from the other books is really needed! romantasy/murder mystery about a nun and a paladin travelling together to the city by chance… they both have their own agendas but something draws them together 0///0 i found this really fun!! may have too much blood and guts for a pure romance fan but its very sort of pragmatic and down to earth in that ursula vernon way. nice dynamic between the leads, had a delightfully creepy (and sad!) antagonist and wrapped up threads from the previous book very nicely. would recommend 👍

in other words by jhumpa lahiri: semi autobiographical literary fiction about a (pulitzer winning) author who decides to move to italy and start writing exclusively in italian. (its translated!) hmmm as someone who also really loves languages but also doesnt really have the resources or desire to do something like. move to a different country (i mean maybe!) and only speak and write in that language from now on (probably not), it was a really interesting perspective. i was sort of put off by her attitude towards bengali but the whole "triangle of languages" theory makes sense… the writer is very straightforward and honest feeling in a way thats almost irritating sometimes but i think thats how a lot of artists are. and the concept alone is still very interesting.. lol anyways its a very short read so id still recommend 👍

the twisted ones by ursula vernon: horror. a woman is tasked with cleaning out her late hoarder grandmothers' house, located in rural north carolina. this was ursula vernons first horror book, i think! i was a little disappointed bc this wasnt very scary, exactly--but i feel like ive also been learning that even if i startle easily, my horror threshhold is actually very high……? i ended up liking what moves the dead more (it was scarier!) but this still had a fun cast of characters. still worth a read though :3 i enjoyed it

dungeon meshi by ryoko kui(catchup): manga about a group of adventurers looking for their lost friend. stuck in the dungeon for months on end, they resort to eating monsters! ohhhhh my god drags down myface dungeon meshi is literally one of the best manga out there and im glad everyone recognizes this. its about desire and need and the way unfulfilled desires is what propels our lives forward and gives them meaning and also how its SUPER IMPORTANT TO GET 3 NUTRITIOUS MEALS AND SLEEP 8 HOURS and all that. lol. phenomenal art i cant help but think that ryoko kui draws women as only a lesbian can..? highly recommend 👍

witch hat atelier by kamome shirahama(catchup): coming of age/fantasy manga--a girl discovers the secret behind the magic that powers her world. she's determined to use it to save her mother, but it may bring a heavy price--or maybe not at all…? like vita nostra (which i read last month!), this is also a book about learning magic that focuses heavily on pedagogy itself (which in this case is also a direct parallel to learning about art/drawing!). however, unlike vita nostra the characters are more like 10-11, and so it also takes a much more gentle and compassionate approach to how we should learn. but it also tackles some really interesting themes about restriction of information, and if said info should be restricted and why! and sort of digging deeper into the idea of "a secret hidden from the normal world". the art is soooo gorgeous i think its all done by hand? looks like a picture book can honestly get a bit overwhelming. highly recommend 👍

bloom into you: f/f manga about a girl who has never fallen in love, and a girl who never wants to be loved. bloom into you is one of those Yuri Classics that i enjoyed a lot as someone who has complicated feelings about romance :3 theres that really interesting quote thats like "love isnt about wanting someone to change or stay the same. when i say 'i love you,' its an expression of faith that even as you change, youll always be the person i adore"….. very interesting! also the sort of idea that you cant 'no true scotsman' love--you can just decide that you love someone, and then you do? kind of? anyways i thought it was pretty interesting :3

beastars: coming of age manga, set in a world kinda like zootopia but if someone thought about it way more. legosi, a large grey wolf struggles with distinguishing between his carnal desires and his, uh, carnivorous desires. ok EYE really liked it but also i think it handles a lot of themes really weirdly… maybe this is because legosi is just really fucking weird (this is definitely part of it) but in many ways beastars portrays the split between men and women as being even more uncrossable than the split between herbivores and carnivores.. which to me was surprising since the manga itself is written by a woman? definitely look up a TW list if youre planning on reading lol. it definitely has some of the best "what if animals lol" worldbuilding out there. i had louis/legosi/haru ot3 in my heart the whole way through LOL but i, uh, dont really think legosi and haru work as a couple just by themselves .. also the gaybait in here is crazy. i think past the midway or maybe 3/4 point it kinda starts to lose focus, but it still had a lot of compelling drama. yayyy louis beastars i think more theater kids should go through unbelievable self-inflicted pain

beast complex: anthology about the surrounding stories of the ppl of beastars. SO fun many people agree that the best part of beastars was the worldbuilding and this was basically all that. very fun :3

surviving romance: horror/adventure? chaerin wants nothing more than to live her fated fairy-tale life--so much so that people other than her love interest appear as nothing more than extras. one day ZOMBIES ATTACK!!!!11! very fun :33 maybe this is just me but is meta stuff getting more popular because of orv…? its not doing it as well ngl but still entertaining. chaerin trying to gain the trust of ppl that she originally didnt gaf about is fun

video games: pikmin 4: pikmin 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a game about being 1 inch tall and controlling your hordes of small creatures (pikmin) to gather things like fruits. i think i bought this when i was sick because i saw a post that was like "pikmin cured my executive function" lol everyone who plays pikmin doesnt fucking shut up about what an indie gem it is but theyre kinda right………pikmin is really good…. its all about finding beauty and joy in the small intricacies of this wide world……i know some people were annoyed by the story parts but i thought it was cute idk :] and oatchi was there . recommend if you like games like starcraft or if you like watching ants carry around a giant caterpillar

movies: farewell my concubine: coming of age/literary/tragedy/historical/??? its a wong kar wai movie. dieyi has nothing in his life but the stage, where he plays as the faithful concubine to a doomed king. his life offstage is much more fraught. i would dearly love to read any articles or things about this movie so if you got anything come find me? nope: horror movie about oj and em, two siblings struggling to keep their stunt horse business running after their father dies. ok well like above its a jordan peele movie so of course its very good. scary as well! i loved the themes… i went back to when ppl were talkingabout the movie to see what people said! ngl i kinda thought jupe was going to have a bigger part in the movie but he was cool as he was. idk it was just very enjoyable and had a lot of things to think about. the idea of spectacle and like.. tragedy-voyeurism are something thats really important to examine closely in times like these i think?

when harry met sally: ROMCOM YAYY about a man and a woman meeting each other across multiple periods of their life. literally one of the only romcoms i can remember my dad openly admit to liking it really deserves the hype. its so heartfelt and sweet and genuinely funny and the character development is so good. its like gay people for straight people

how to lose a man in 10 days: romcom about a guy who thinks he can make any girl fall in love vs a girl who is trying to give the worst dating experience possible. um well it was ok? i only really felt the chemistry between the main leads in a couple of scenes (like when she visits his home) it wasnt really funny or romantic enough..? especially given that most of the humor was predicated on LOL LOOK HOW SHITTY AND CONTROLLING GFS CAN BE which is like ok fine. whatever. idk it was ok

annihilation: horror about a group of scientists who go into a unsettling area to see whats wrong with it.. um well i read the book first and i had heard that this was a pretty good adaptation ? a la howls moving castle book vs movie. i thought it was pretty good? but WAY more focused on the horror stuff than the book, and also (bc its a movie) not really able to focus on the characters interiorities as much..? and also like the way the characters slowly lose it in weird ways and their dynamic frays was one of the cooler parts of annihilation (book) to me. i think at the time having queer characters and characters of color and a cast comprised almost entirely of women was a pretty big deal though i think i heard a lot about it on tumblr lol. its hard not to nitpick on lots of details but i thought it was pretty good overall! a lot of the differences that i didnt like that much made sense as a migration from book->movie--like for example if theyd made the mc as cold and unfeeling it would have been harder to have her be a sympathetic movie protagonist. i thought the infidelity plot w the professor was kind of a timewaster though . anyways still recommend 👍

blue beetle: action movie about a guy whos blue and a beetle. i liked this a surprising amount but i also saw it with friends. the first half of the movie is kinda better than the first also being a tokusatsu fan makes me go "wow this would be so much better if it was with suit actors" lol but the first half of the movie was sooo fun i think also had a really good depiction of a genttrifying city which i enjoyed

oppenheimer: historical drama about that one guy. copy pasting my thoughts from discord: even my dad who liked the movie more was like wow… this movie was kinda too long idk i think it was like technically cool in terms of like imagery and sound and actgin and stuff. but i like wasnt really moved LOL. christopher nolan is playing a little game where i have to recognize as many white men in sequence as possible and im going to be real i can manage maybe like 3? also the whole outer shell plot with strauss and misha collins (EDIT: it was not misha collins) who literally unironically said "youre the god of shadows now" (????) was like. um well this is really intricate but also i dont really care…? like am i supposed to have a stake in this…..? and sort of the intertwining of that story combined w the creation of the atomic bomb was like kinda so-so (my inability to tell faces didnt help w this) it was fine but not really my kind of movie. omg i did like the part with like all the thundering applause and stuff but it blows up there was this part where they kept on being like omg the X incident. all this stuff happened with X and i was like wow what is it….. turns out it was literally referring to a recurring character that i neither remembered nor could recognize. sad

us: horror movie about doubles. YESSS SO FUCKING SCARY i watched this on the airplane to school and the old lady sitting next to me had to watch me hyperventilating and clutching my chest and the whole nine yards. definitely the scariest jordan peele movie. man and the twist at the end was so freaking good. i think its the scariest because the danger is so there, and so immediate, but the beginning part of the movie actually succeeded (for me?) in getting you to be invested in the characters as well. i was wondering if maybe the doubles were also supposed to be connected to like ideas of caricature about black people..? it leaves just enough unanswered that youre still scared. and the questions that do get answered leave you with………THE HORRIFYING TRUTH!! god what a good movie

moonlight: coming of age about a boy who struggles with being black and gay during the crack epidemic of the 80s/90s. < sorry if this isnt a good summary i remember this was a pretty important film when it came out.. i watched part of it a couple years ago and then just remembered to finish this month. its a good movie… you kinda just sit with it yk. hm i (obviously?) dont have a lot of experience with black masculinity but i thought it was interesting how vulnerability can be like taken away from you or you can withhold it from yourself..and that can feel or even be really powerful! but its also like never too late to do that until youre dead. waves my hands around

I thought of a story inspired by your nun x demon AU.

So, basically, Pomni is a little imp who’s been bullied by other demons all her life for being a tiny, skittish little thing. One of the ways in which they bullied her was by telling her horror stories of what happens to demons on earth. They told her that earth’s inhabitants bind demons, gag them so they can’t even plead for mercy, and then proceed to do all manner of horrible things to them.

One day, a group of bullies banishes her to earth. Needless to say, the poor thing absolutely panics, darting around more or less mindlessly and trying to find a hiding spot.

Enter Ragatha. I was originally going to make her a nun with the idea that nuns learn how to capture and defeat demons to protect their churches, but that didn’t really stick. I think instead, I’ll probably make Ragatha a monster hunter/tamer or something like that? In any case, she has a lot of experience with scary-looking creatures that are actually scared of her, and she knows countless spells to peacefully restrain them.

Ragatha launches three glowing blue magical bands: one wraps around Pomni's ankles, one around her mouth (the people of this world generally gag captured demons because demons are notoriously silver-tongued), and one around her wrists, tying her hands behind her back. Pomni falls to the ground, and Ragatha immediately takes the next step: approaching Pomni and consoling her.

Unfortunately, trust can’t be gained so easily, especially right after tying up someone who’d been told their whole life to be afraid of you. Ragatha knows this (like I said, she has a lot of experience), but she tries her best to calm the little imp down anyway.

Ragatha brings Pomni to her house, and while she tries to give Pomni as much freedom as possible there (only leaving her legs tied up since she'd definitely run away otherwise), out in public, it's kind of just considered common decency, for lack of a better word, for demons brought by their owners to be bound and gagged.

This is like, the third (AT LEAST) story I thought of where Pomni is/gets turned into some kind of creature, and Ragatha has to try and tame her and take care of her. Except this one's meant to be kinky, lmao.

He's super fun and flirty in such a playful way and he's basically like Futaba if she was an adult man lol. I think you two have similar mannerisms when texting imo. His colors are even red and black, come on, just look at him! (okay his color is red but his jacket is black so that counts ❤️) He is also my favorite in the game by far and one of the most popular characters overall so take that as a compliment ❤️❤️❤️

Speaking of which - from what I remember from my brief brushes with the fandom a lot of people headcanon him as genderfluid or nonbinary because yeah. There's some gender fun going on with him. He crossdresses for fun and sometimes for work and he'll send you pictures of him in a dress and wig and ask you if you think he's sexy. He's also canonically bisexual iirc - okay I just looked it up and he has a quote about looking for a connection "whether it's a man or a woman" so it's implied he is Not Straight.

Anyways look at him living his best life :)

He is actually super smart and has many many many many many issues that I won't get into right now, but he's scared of getting actually close to people and opening up so he just covers it up with humor and memes and viddy games and acting like a clown. He also likes playing pranks on the other characters lol. And he also loves cats so so so so so so much. I think you would like him tbh ^^

Anyways this became more of a list of Seven fun facts rather than reasons why I made the connection lol. Or maybe a mix of both. First of all, glad to see you're back❤️ secondly... I've read chapter nine and I have a lot of things to tell.

First, I was mad at jesse before but now I'm extra mad at him lmao. Last chapter he was acting like dina was at his place and he said he told dina about the kissing, but none of that was true wow. Such a fricking manipulator and for what😭👍 also, I wasn't expecting Dina's story to be like that... Actually I was, I just wasn't expecting Talia in the middle of this. Part of me think that... Well, dina telling maria even before she met ellie would have been the smart thing to do, but I also won't judge because david is the only to blame here.

The bathtub scene was so cute somehow. Just picturing him crouched talking with ellie while she's venting to him on that bathtub while drinking the tea he made for her is something special. Like she's his religion and he's just there; meeting all her needs.

The rest... The rest of the chapter reminds me of that tlou meme gif where ellie opens the door and everything is pure chaos (I hope you know what gif I'm talking about because otherwise I would feel shy rn lol). So, things escalated very quickly: in one moment the pastor was exchanging barbs with joel while tommy was more lost than a nun on her honeymoon, and in another second, ellie's reaction to david invoked something primal and full alpha on joel (which I'm sorry but it was too fucking hot) and broke david's wrist. As much as that made me go 🎉🎉 for david's wrist, that whole chaos shouldn't have happened... Because joel getting all riled up in front of tommy even before david insinuated anything, ellie getting out of his house in his shirt and joel getting agressive and defensive over ellie, All of this, just made Joel look like the big bad wolf in front of people. At the same time, the scene that happened afterwards was... A bit funny, I'm sorry🤣 I mean, it was tense: maria is mad, tommy is confused and mad, everyone is fucking mad. But that whole scene (they mad at joel and ellie sassing maria while tommy was like "ellie, attitude!") seemed like two parents that just found out their sassy teenage girl is in case with an older man she has a crush on. Kind of reminded me of the movie "crazy stupid love" lmao. But well, back to being serious: While maria made it very clear that he never thought well of Joel, tommy is... A hard deal. Like, we can see he's questioning joel's morals and getting protective of ellie, but at the same time it's like he's not believe his brother would do something like that without genuine feelings involved but he doesn't say that out loud because his wife is his boss. I will re-read to see if I'm right, but even seemed like Joel was scowding tommy for that too when he was arguing with him behind the cells. Like when joel was "why are you letting this pastor free out there?" there was an you're letting your wife rule your head like that? unspoken. Or maybe It's just nonsense from my head, idk.

Last but not least: there was two things I wasn't waiting until this chapter: thing number 1 is the fact that our lovebirds were discovered faster than I thought they would. I mean, they started their relationship and david was a new character, I I thought that there was still some stuff to happen between both things before it all went to wind, so that's why I'm as surprised as every character was on this chapter. Thing number two: Ellie knew about David's creep head even before he did anything to her, so I thought "that's the first story that david doesn't try/doesn't have time to put his hands on ellie"... But then someone came and said there was fire at the church, and then I remembered instantly of the burning restaurant scene from the last of us and... Well, I guess this emoji is what I felt🤡🤡🤡🤡 Poor ellie, I bet something happened with her and that's why there's fire at the church. (Good thing is that joel scaped prison right now😈david might meet hell sooner than he was expecting).

*out of breath* so, that was alll tense. Got me anxious thr whole chapter, so I feel like I need to talk about the few less tense things that happened so I guess less anxious: first, joel getting all hot with that bratty behaviour🤭homegirl almost crying and joel thought that was foreplay made me laugh. Which remindes me.... When out of this shit gets calm again, are we gonna find out if the spanking talk is serious???😏cause I think sir Joel liked the idea a little too much huh. he definitely must be holding a belt in his drawer for this moment.

Also he almost said he loves her🗣️🗣️🗣️ I don't think I even have anything to say about it, don't think I could find the words.

Let’s talk about Dina, Talia (who will just be a character that is mentioned in passing) and Jesse. Jesse has been in Jackson - with his mom and siblings - the longest, he has the strongest bonds (or so he believes) with the community. Dina and Talia arrived a few years back - and then David and his few survivors sometime after. For the first time in Dina’s life, she was protected, and Talia could rest knowing her sister was safe. So, imagine this young woman’s horror when her r@pist shows up to this safe community and welcomes him with open arms - Talia remembers the old world, she knows what Maria did for a living (I’m playing off show-Maria in this story, that she was a prosecutor), she knows that men like David didn’t pay for their crimes and could twist the truth to their favor. Talia is trying to protect Dina, Jesse is over protective of Dina, and Dina just wants to live her life.

That being said, this is not the Dina from part 2, this Dina - like Ellie - is younger, and they don’t know one another. Dina is protecting her sister, trying to keep them both from being kicked out of Jackson because that’s what Talia has been telling Dina could happen. Jesse, because his head is up Tommy’s ass all the time, agrees with this assessment, because Jackson operates within a very delicate balance - despite Maria believe there’s law and order, it’s really people just trying to get by, keeping their noses down and staying out of trouble.

Enter Joel. Everyone in Jackson knows the stories about Joel because Tommy is a storyteller, he wants to feel a sense of belonging, and he never thought Joel would show up in Jackson. When Joel asks Maria “why did you let me stay,” she tells him she thought he was deserving of a second chance, but in reality it’s Tommy protecting his brother. Joel tries to carve out a place for himself in Jackson, but even with a partner - Esther - he can’t settle, can’t let himself live.

Which is where the story began way back on the side of a mountain in December 2035 😉

Ellie’s been kind of off for a couple chapters - the whole world came crashing down around her shoulders - she walked into the room on fire, right? Now that things are on the mend and her fuzzy brain is starting to clear - let’s just fuck with our poor girl some more, why not, right? Because a showdown has to happen between her and David and that man (if we can fucking call him that) is not going to like that Ellie knows about Dina and Talia, and we’re assuming other girls. He thinks it’s his job to be her protector and.. oh wait, we’re not there yet! 🫢

But - the showdown is coming at the church, and we’re gonna go back to the night Joel was arrested and see those 3 days Joel was in jail from Ellie’s POV. Someone mentioned to me that this whole thing with David and Ellie happened too fast - but remember that the winter sequence happens over a matter of days, David sees Ellie and decides he’s keeping her (whether your a game follower or show follower) - so this build up was coming.

Last - but most certainly not least - our lovebirds. Yes, Joel almost said it, they got caught, and Ellie being a brat turns them both on. While I’m not gonna give away the farm, this part of the story is winding down, and will go to a resting place until the next arc starts up. Ellie being a brat will be revisited in the future. As for someone saying the L word - just to put on “But Daddy I Love Him” by Taylor Swift while you wait patiently for Chapter 10!

Muzan rolled his eyes as he looked at him. “Fine… Keep the woman…”

“Leave the boy to me…”

Shinobu paused before she smiled and nodded. “Of course…” she said before tilting her head. “Tomioka is begging impatient… You should hurry.” She said.

You nodded, climbing down the bed before you waddled off to your husband.

Giyuu looked over, quickly walking over as he rubbed your stomach.

He gave you a smile, quickly peeking your lips.

He wouldn’t tell you what he was planning…

He’d never tell you on how soon…. he’d make sure you were free of this demon.
