•I’ve mentioned this before but it doesn’t hurt to reiterate that I think their meeting was kinda cold at first but they sorta quickly warmed up to each other. Like I said; Game Recognize Game lmao.

•Rosalie was surprised at her attraction to María at first? In her head she was like “she’s so cute? And her voice is so soft, Her skin has such a glow to it and her hair is so voluptuous, she so small, It’s almost like she’s alive?, it was so weird to her but eventually she could no longer deny it.

•Neither could María, although they weren’t actually related, María could see the similarities in both Rose and Jasper, she could definitely see why they posed as twins and being the bicon that she is, she’s just as attracted to her as she was Jasper, something about tall gorgeous blondes just really do something to her lmfao.

•Rosalie would secretly be in contact with María and they would talk about pretty much everything, and they would always be so excited to share any news with the other and talk about their hobbies and interests. Like María would be excitedly talking about the new games and puzzles she’s found and Rose is just happily listening and waiting to talk about her cars and it’s mechanics and the new hairstyles, and hair products/accessories she’s created. They also found comfort in each other and loved coming to complain to the other about the people around them that have annoyed them or did something they thought was stupid lol. María would ask her so many questions about her life and her past and Rosalie, would reciprocate with the same intense interest, wanting to know of her incredible skill and survival in the completely different world she grew up in.

•They eventually formed some kind of long distance bond and relationship and Rose would beg her to come up north and live with her, not feeling comfortable with how unsafe things looked for her and María would argue that she’s fine and she just cannot up and leave a place so sacred to her but after some hard times, a little convincing and some compromises maria eventually agreed to living with her. She did not regret it.

•Can you imagine the shock of everyone when Rosalie finally revealed that she was dating María? Lmfao. But eventually everyone accepts it bc Rose threatened them lmfao because they saw how happy they seemed together and it was nice to see Rose so happy.

•Theyre such goddesses together honestly, like whenever they get dressed up they always look like queens and they are truly the type to not only wear matching dresses and outfits, but to also Show Up and Show Out lol. They love to go out dancing and they love dancing at home tbh. They just love having each other’s bodies so close as they follow the beat of whatever music they have playing. They love singing together and their voices are always so harmonious. They fill the house with such gorgeous music/sound and it echoes a lot because it’s so spacious.

•María totally became ‘Rosalie’s little helper’ in the garage, always at her side, handing her tools, getting her good snacks when she’s hungry, wiping the dirt/grease off her face for her and learning everything she can because she didn’t know shit about cars lmfao. She didn’t even really care much to learn about them until she watched Rose at work and realized just how much goes into making, repairing and upkeep of cars. She also totally made Rose an adorable jumpsuit with her name on it.

•They love indulging in each other’s hobbies. As I’ve mentioned above María always participated/helped Rose while she worked on her cars but Rose also has a thing for creating things that benefit their hair. She creates hair accessories, hair masks, shampoos, conditioners, etc.. and she always tries them on María because she thinks she’s absolutely adorable in them and María loves what she makes. Her little products always smell so good and Rose loves smelling them in her hair as they lay together. Maria’s hair type is vastly different from Rosalie’s and so Rose spends extra time carefully crafting and learning Marías hair so that she doesn’t do or use anything that could potentially be harmful to her hair or that her hair simply wouldn’t like and vice versa.

•Rose loves to kiss and admire María’s scars whenever they are laying together or being intimate in any way. Sometimes María would crawl into her lap and they would sit and talk about them, and María would all the stories of how she acquired each scar. Sometimes the memories are too painful and Rosalie is always there for comfort and to be her anchor when she feels herself slipping.

•Because María is so chaotic, Rosalie finds herself having to get María out of sticky situations a lot, but she usually doesn’t mind, it keeps her on her toes and a lot of those situations are funny and make for great future stories. Also Rose totally calls her ‘Ría’ or ‘Marí’ when she’s in that “Stop What You Are Doing Right Now.” Mode lmfao.

• Rose loves participating in Marías little hobbies like puzzles, sometimes she loves to sit and play in/braid María’s hair while María sits and plays through her puzzle games, sometimes offering help when she has an idea or María is stuck on something and needs to brainstorm. They love all different kinds of puzzle games, she loves watching Maria’s thought process because it’ not like anything she’s ever seen. She notices how María always seems to do things a rather different and unusual way but they always seem to work for her and Rose loves that so much about her, she hates mediocrity lol. She also loves to watch María work and create such cute clothing using her old traditional techniques and she’s always ready to model for her at any given time because she knows how happy it makes María. In fact María became so used to Rose modeling for her that whenever she creates a piece of clothing it’s become a habit to create it using Rose’s measurements, even when it was something that was initially meant for her lol. Rose finds its hilarious to see her drowning in clothes bc she’s so tiny.

•Rose is always picking María up, like always. Most of the time it’s usually when María cannot reach something but a lot of times it’s just for fun because she loves carrying her around and cuddling her close like she’s a doll lol. She’s always like “You’re so cute!” María is super bashful but also finds it endearing. Rose totally makes short jokes. Like she just can’t help it and usually María would be mad and kick the offender in the shins but.. it’s Rose, and she loves her so she can Do No Wrong lmfao. No but she mostly just lets it slide when Rose does it because she thinks it’s cute and she loves being a little spoon lmfao. Everyone else thinks it’s absolutely unfair but María tells them to suck it.

A little backstory for this OC: Aurora is Rosalie’s older sister. When she was turned she discovered she had ice powers. These powers manifested because she was always Eating Ice As A Human very cold and solid as a human. By solid I mean unchanging, unwavering. If she went one way, she stayed that way. She was never indecisive about anything. She was also very loyal. She never changed or went rouge. She always stayed the same no matter what. She was extremely pale and had ice blonde hair and bright, icy blue eyes that always seemed so... deviod. She was always said to be Albino but she never really confirmed because she didn’t really know if it were true or not.

Aurora wasn’t much of a socialite like her sister and brothers, she never wanted to be in the public eye, she never really felt much about anything or said much. Very quiet and in the dark, always thinking. She liked the cold, her room was always kept cold and her hands were always stone froze (she was practically already a vampire lol). She was kind of a brainiac and loved doing experiments with water and ice. Dry ice is her favorite thing in the world. Winter was her favorite season, she loved manipulating the snow and ice around her into whatever she wanted it to be. She always wished she could travel to polar places like the north and south poles, Antarctica, Alaska. She mostly stays with the Denali’s because of this. But, like ice, there are times where she melts, and she becomes a different version of herself, she’s like water then, cold water, but water altogether. She’s loose, a little more friendly and talkative, adaptable, there’s a different tone to her, a different feel. Rosalie always loved her sister and would always come to her when she needed to escape the world and even for guidance. She even gets a lot of traits from her older sister. Whenever her sister would “melt” as she says, it was always very slow and gradual and would throw her for a loop but when she’s goes back into her cold ice state it’s very quick. Her ice powers are very strong and she’s able make ice into a serious weapon, it’s very painful to have that hard coldness slice through you. She can turn anything into an ice-like state, if there’s any moisture anywhere she can utilize it.

Onto the hc’s: I’m making them more platonic because you said they ‘become close’ so I assume her and Rose are still romantic for this au?

•María’s meeting with Aurora was a lot different from how people usually meet her because Aurora had ‘melted’ around the time they met. Meaning that she was much more loose and lively and flexible and such. Rose had taken her up to the Denali’s so she could finally introduce her sister to her girlfriend. She greeted and accepted María with open arms talking with her as if they were already good friends. This really calmed Rosalie’s nerves because she was afraid of how they would react to each other, since a lot of people mistake Aurora’s ice nature for being rude. She was somewhat glad that they’d met when ‘Rora’ (Her nickname) was in her melted state.

•María was shocked upon hearing Rose had an actual real sister and even more shocked upon seeing her. She looked exactly like Rosalie, except she was a little taller, much more pale, and her eyes and hair were brighter. She was warmed and welcomed by how pleased she seemed to meet her and it was certainly different from how she expected it would go but she was happy that her girlfriends sister seemed to like her so much. It made her happy.

•When Aurora went back into her usual ice state, María was confused. Where was the girl she’d seen before? The girl that was so open and lively and talkative. In its place was a girl that mostly sat around quietly and seemed so stoic and hardened. At first she thought something was bothering her, but when Aurora declined so she began to think that perhaps she didn’t like her anymore, maybe she’d heard something about her and changed her mind about her? María didn’t know but that thought worried her.

•It took a lot of convincing from Rosalie for María to believe that Aurora did, in fact, still like her. Rosalie would tell her that whenever Aurora spoke about María to her, she had nothing but admiration and wonderful things to say. That is when Rosalie explained in more detail about her sister and her ways. How she’s mostly like that and María just so happened to meet her when she was in her other state. After that, María understood perfectly. She understood because in a way, she was pretty similar. There is a part of her inside that is more cold, and shut off and calculative. The side that shows when she’s unsafe, or around a bunch of unfamiliar people. A part that likes to stick in the background and watch and wait. But her other side, the side that mostly shows when she’s generally being herself and is around people she’s more comfortable with, it’s warm and friendly and chaotic and loving and affectionate. Of course this isn’t to the same extent that Aurora’s was but.. she understood.

•After this, María and Aurora spent a lot of time together so María could really get a grasp on Aurora more personally and really get to see her ways and thoughts and actions. They became very close. Aurora was simply amazed at María’s history but also so very heart broken at the same time. She would constantly find herself wondering how someone who looked so small and fragile could have went through all the things she did and made it out alive.

•A lot of times Aurora catches herself staring at one of María’s scars and sometimes María will catch her and sensing her curiosity would just begin to talk about the origins of the scar as if it is normal lol.

•Speaking of normal, a good reason why Aurora likes María so much is because she is not normal, but her “not normal” is different from Rora’s and so when they combine their unusualness, you’re in for a treat. A lot the things they do together or even talk about is so out of the ordinary that when people listen in or just watch them they’re like ??!???. They’ve been told a lot of times that they sound like they “belong in a nut house” but they don’t care lol.

•When Aurora introduced her powers to María, María was shooketh. She totally wanted her to test it out and Rora happily obliged, showing her all the amazing tricks she could do with water and ice. She showed her how she could suck out and manipulate the littles bit of moisture in anything and turn it into ice, she also showed her some of her long lasting creations around the area that totally had María like 😱

•When María began playing puzzle games and creating puzzles for Aurora, she was ecstatic, they truly bonded over their love of deep thinking and solving problems. Sometimes they’d like sit and find hard math problems just to talk about them and try to solve them. They also love to read books in the others presence and then discuss some of the aspects of the books. They love exploring and going on adventures and trying to solve all the Unsolved Mysteries around nearby areas. Aurora even showed her all of her experiments she used to do as a human, most of them involving water/ice, and they always have so much fun being such brainiacs together. This earned them the nickname: “Nerdie Birdies” which they totally capitalized on lmfao.

•When they became closer, Aurora made an adorable little ice figurine of María as a gift. María literally screamed when she saw it. She loved it so very much and always keeps it in an ice cold little freezer to preserve it, but puts it on display a lot to show off her good friends/sister-in-laws work lmfao.

•In return, María made Aurora and ice colored blanket with her name on it in silver glitter and gave it to her “for those cold winter days” which is totally an inside joke between them. Rora adores it and wraps herself up in it every night.
