Doodle Mimi meeting Mosy and Zeus? :3
Ah yes, another Mew to use Zeus as a sleeping post
Fr tho, Mimi doesn’t have an aversion to clones, seeing them as any other pokemon she would encounter. She would enjoy exposing them to a lot of things they haven’t yet.
#loupy-mongoose#ask#she might prefer zeus’ more mellow attitude though even if she has a fairly high tolerance#she’s pretty mellow herself#zeus Mewtwo#Mnemosyne Mew#Mimi Mew#Mew#Mewtwo#pokemon#art#2023

cw for kidnapping and emotional manipulation
-
Ghost spots a bird across the pub with her wings clipped. She trembles as she watches her friend disappear into the sea of gyrating bodies, holding onto a man she just met and is deciding to abandon her for.
“You don’t mind, right?” Her friend had asked.
She chirped ditheringly. “Um… sure, yeah. You go have fun.”
A fickle smile split her cheeks. A warm wash of liquid glossed her eyes.
Ghost watches her watching her friend. Sadness is written into her features. That type of sadness so deep-seated you feel it crushing your ribs, denting your heart. She sighs and hangs her head, staring down at her drink. Her ice cube has melted, the salt crusting her rim having hardened. Her shoulder start to shake.
Ghost decides it would be remiss of him to not check up on her. The bird with frilly feathers and bent wings, wounded, too feeble to fight back.
He throws back the rest of his drink. He doesn’t wince at the burn, but still, Ghost’s face puckers into something different. Something mean as he approaches her and lays his elbow on the bar’s sticky countertop, splitting his hand across the top of her spine.
“What’s a bird like you doin’ all alone?”
She girdles. It’s like she’s been folded in two and hung out to dry, the way she shrinks into herself and flexes her shoulders.
His words hang stagnant for a few seconds. Perhaps it will make him lose interest and slip away, but Ghost is a persistent one. The badges embroidered into his uniform are a testament to that.
He passes his thumb over her neck. She shivers.
“I… um. Well, my boyfriend’s in the bathroom.”
Ghost almost chuckles. The bird says it with such skittish conviction that surely, not even she believes it.
He grunts. “It’s rude to lie, y’know.”
She gulps. “My friend’s with me.”
“The one that just left you?” He asks. “A pretty shit friend, if you ask me. A bird like you deserves someone better.”
She purses her lips because they begin to quiver. She tries shouldering him away, tries blinking back the fat tears of brine that threaten to thaw and slip down her cheek. Her voice is distorted with discomfort and self-pity when she replies, “That’s stupid. I just want her to be happy.”
“And her?” Ghost prompts. He distracts her with his rough lilt as he slips his hand low, into the divot between her ass and waist. “How often does she fuck off with the men you fancy?“
She flinches. It’s the sudden recoil of her muscles, and her mind’s attempt at getting away from him.
“I-it’s not like that.”
“Yeah?” He asks. “It’s not like she leaves you alone every time you go out, lookin’ like a dolt when she finds someone more fun?”
She swallows thickly. Her lips warble around her next words. “… Sometimes, I guess.”
Ghost’s cock jumps. The fat mass pushes against his jeans, angled towards her.
“Yeah,” he croons. “I know how hard it can be. Why don’t you come over to my flat, huh? Give ‘er a taste of her own medicine.”
She inches away. Ghost only holds her tighter, gripping that broken little wing of hers and doting on it.
“I don’t… do that stuff. Sorry.”
Something primal in Ghost barks. That stuff. She’s never taken dick? Or never taken dick from a stranger? Either way, Ghost’s cock stirs and starts drooling on his thigh. She can probably see it. That blotchy stain on his jeans under the mellow lighting.
“I play nice, bird,” he mutters. “And wouldn’t it be nice to get back at them? Your mate? All those blokes who ignored you?”
She squeezes her thighs when Ghost settles his hand on her ass. She has trouble pulling them back apart, her thighs that is, as they’re adhered with slick.
“I asked you a question. Wouldn’t it be nice?”
“I guess so…” she whimpers. Keening into Ghost’s whispering touch, the heat of his cock.
He pulls a wad of cash from his pocket and slams it onto the table. He stands up, looking something like a predator on its hind legs, and pulls her from the barstool.
“Let’s go, pretty bird,” he leashes his hand around the base of her neck, leading her outside and into his rust-spattered truck. “You deserve it.”
A stroke of heat licks up her innards. She’s already dazed by the time she’s in his truck, preening as he splits his hand across her leg and digs divots into her thigh, kneading her supple flesh. She’s bleary eyes and impaired on arousal as they drive past the city’s margins and into the outback, the roads turning pebbled.
She’s too excited, too sweet to heed Ghost pulling her out of his truck and hauling her into a neglected flat.
She only feels his hands on her, big and warm. And the cool carbon steel of handcuffs locking around her ankle.
She smiles.

[5.1k] an off-putting interaction with a supposed fan leaves jack cursed and, somehow, you find yourself in the middle of it. because acting like your enemy's girlfriend to not aggravate a curse is totally normal, right?
[find other fright night specials here]
.
It was well known by all that you and Jack Hughes did not like each other.
If anything, that was an understatement about how the two of you felt about each other. It was one of those things that everyone knew: the sky was blue, the sun rose in the east and set in the west, and Jack Hughes was the bane of your fucking existence.
You couldn’t quite remember a time when he wasn’t a pain in your ass. Since the day you joined the Devils team, the boy seemed to have it out for you and you returned the attitude. You were constantly at each other’s throats—much to the other boys’ entertainment—bickering and arguing and snapping.
It was one of the safest bets you could make—especially on game days.
“Dude, I just had the weirdest fucking fan experience of my life!”
You didn’t hold back the urge to roll your eyes, your attention focused on the clipboard in your hands rather than the boy who had barrelled over and interrupted you. “Jesus, I thought players were meant to be mellow and calm before a game.”
“Maybe that’s just what they tell you because you’re boring,” Jack retorted, flashing you a smile that was as irritating as it was charming. “And I wasn’t even talking to you. I was talking—”
“To my patient,” you bit out, turning your attention back to Dawson who was looking between the two of you with a slightly awkward but apprehensive expression. “Now, like I was asking before we were interrupted, the tension in your—”
“She was so weird,” Jack continued on, his lips twitching when he noticed the heavy sigh you let out but he kept going, facing forward towards Dawson as his shoulder brushed against yours. “I was coming out of the carpark and—”
Dawson’s nose scrunched up. “She was in the player carpark?”
“Yes!” Jack exclaimed, his eyes widening. “That’s what I’m saying, she already snuck in there and then she kept saying something but I couldn’t understand a word. So, I tried to politely—”
You snorted.
“—tell her that I was running late,” Jack continued, shooting you a quick but dirty look as he did. “But then she just started muttering to herself and waved her hands at me before walking away.”
“Sounds like you broke a sweet old woman’s heart,” Dawson commented, grinning a little when Jack smacked his arm.
“Shut up,” Jack murmured, though his cheeks flushed pink in response. “I was already running late—”
“No surprise there,” you added.
“—I just didn’t have time,” Jack defended, once again shooting you a dirty look. “But it was weird, bro. She had some weird juju.”
Dawson pressed his lips together to hold back his laughter. “Juju?”
“Juju!” Jack repeated with a nod.
“I think you’re letting the guilt get to you, bro,” Dawson said, shaking his head in amusement. “You should head in to get ready for the game. Pretty sure Coach was asking Nico where you—”
“And you just let me stand here and talk?” Jack hissed, his eyes wide before he began rushing down the hallway towards the locker room. “What the fuck, Merc?!”
“Always blaming everyone but himself,” you huffed, shaking your head. “Typical.”
Dawson grinned a little. “You know, people say that tension is a great aphrodisiac.”
You shot him a blank look. “The only tension I am interested in is the kind in your muscles. Now, you gonna tell me how your hamstring is feeling or should I tell Coach to scrap you from the game?”
Dawson quickly zipped his mouth shut.
…
It happened too fast for anyone to comprehend.
There was five minutes left of the third period, the Devils were up one goal but it was still close. The Jets were putting up more of a fight than they anticipated, pulling moves and hits that were rough and dirty and tiring out the Devils far faster than they would have liked.
Jack’s whole body was screaming, his heart pounding in his chest and his brain clinging onto the fact that it was almost over. Just a few more minutes until the final buzzer sounded, they just needed to make sure they didn’t let the other team score. That was all. Just tire them out in the last few minutes and they could clinch the win.
He was so focused on thinking defensively, on thinking what would keep the Jets moving and chasing that he hadn’t even noticed the player barrelling towards him until it was too late.
The referees blew the whistle too late, Jack’s whole body lurching with the hit as he felt himself get smacked up against the glass before he hit the ice. He felt as though someone had dunked his head underwater, his hearing muffled and his senses disoriented as he tried to scramble up onto his feet. As he tried to show that he was okay and he could keep playing.
But the pain that ripped through his head when he tried to stand prevented him from doing so.
“Give him space!”
“Someone get the medics!”
“Jack? You good?”
“He looks like he is gonna throw up!”
Jack could feels hands on him. He could hear voices and he could hear the concern, even if he couldn’t lift his head to work out who was talking to him. He couldn’t do anything but groan and clench his eyes shut and hope that somebody would just make his head stop pounding.
He didn’t even remember how he got off the ice but he was grateful for the darkness in the medic room, the determination to finish the game as a win no longer at the top of his priority list.
…
You knew the Devils took a chance on you when they offered you the job, but you liked to think you lived up to their expectations.
You were fresh out of college, lost and intimidated and a degree in physiotherapy in your hands that you didn’t quite know what to do with. You had seen the opening in the Devils’ team by chance, and had applied for the sake of just having the experience of applying. You never considered getting an interview, or for them to like you.
You never considered that they would take a chance on a student fresh out of college, offering a place under the current head of the team to shadow for a few years before fully taking over the position.
But life had funny ways of working out and the job with the Devils was one of them.
You had been with the team for almost three years now. You were hardworking and diligent and you performed the roles of your job and beyond. You were a good employee. You knew you were.
Which is why you were utterly baffled by the fact you were being dragged down the hallway instead of preparing your office for the players' cooldown massages and checkups.
“What did I do? Are they angry at me? Was there a report I forgot to hand in?” You questioned the boy pulling you, nerves bubbling up in your stomach and you suddenly regretted the pretzel you ate during the second period.
“No, no, it’s just—” Nico paused, his brows furrowing together. “I can’t really explain it. You just gotta see it.”
“See what?” You questioned, your eyes darting over the boy’s shoulder to see him leading you towards the medic rooms. “Why are you bringing me here? Did someone pull something?”
“It’s Jack,” Nico replied, like that explained anything.
“Did Jack pull something?” You asked, albeit a bit desperately. Your patience was already thin and the vague replies were starting to test you. “Nico, tell me what’s wrong? I thought Jack was just on concussion watch, Susan said—”
“Just,” Nico paused outside the room, grimacing a little. “Just play along, yeah?”
You opened your mouth, a dozen more questions on the tip of your tongue but it was that very moment the door swung open.
“Baby, there you are! Where have you been?”
You blinked, staring at Jack who was currently sitting up on one of the medic beds, grinning happily at you. Then your eyes shifted to the team doctor who looked sheepish, a similar expression shared by the coaching staff beside her. And finally, your eyes landed on Luke who was standing beside Jack’s bed, looking like he was seconds away from laughing (an expression you weren’t expecting on the brother of someone who took a very bad hit).
Nico cleared his throat, nudging you forward. “Found her!”
You stumbled forward, still utterly confused at the odd looks you were receiving from everyone in the room. “What? Was something broken in the hit or something?”
“Baby,” Jack groaned, though it sounded fond and sweet as he reached his hand out towards you. “Stop thinking about work for two seconds, will you? C’mere, I missed you. They said you were too busy to see me just after the hit.”
You blinked. “Are you talking to me?”
Jack raised his brows in amusement. “Is there another girlfriend I have that I’ve forgotten about?”
“Girlfriend?” You repeated, your jaw almost hitting the ground. “I am—”
“Very much his girlfriend who loves him very much,” Nico interrupted, stepping forward and giving you a look you were starting to understand. “And who must be very concerned after he took that big hit that could have gone badly and could have affected his memory.”
Your lips parted slightly as everything clicked.
“Geez, Hisch, way to look at things in a glass half empty kinda way,” Jack laughed before lifting his hand out to you. “Baby, m’fine. Don’t listen to him.”
You had half the mind to shoot Luke a glare as you closed the distance between you and took Jack’s hand in yours, ignoring the snickering from the younger Hughes. You swallowed harshly, turning to look at the team doctor instead of Jack.
“So, doc, what’s the consensus?”
The team doctor gave you a sheepish smile. “He’s been cursed.”
You blinked. “Yeah, no shit.”
“Shit, can you tell?” Jack frowned, lifting his other hand to touch his face. “Do I have warts on my face or something? Oh god, do you still think I’m hot?”
“I—” You flashed him a slightly strained smile. “Still hot, babe.”
“Oh, it gets better,” Luke mumbled under his breath.
Jack beamed in response.
“The hit should have been a standard hit, the Jets player wasn’t even skating fast enough to cause the…damage Jack is experiencing,” the doctor continued. “We suspected foul play and did a few additional tests. It seemed like Jack had a curse manifesting throughout the game but the brunt of the curse didn’t hit until mid-play. And whoever cursed him seemed to have it out for him because it took the environment around him and made it worse—hence, the Jets player’s hit seeming harder, the force he hit the glass and the pain caused by the hit.”
You frowned. “So, what do we do? How do we…un-curse him?”
“You can’t,” Luke jumped in, smiling far too wide for your liking. “Doc says we just have to let the curse play out.”
“I hardly feel cursed,” Jack said dismissively. “What, a rough hit? That’s it? Some curse. Everything else is normal.”
You resisted the urge to roll your eyes.
“Until then,” the doctor continued. “I strongly advise doing anything that would…agitate the curse. It could make things worse. We got lucky with the…limited inconveniences.”
Despite her cryptic words, you understood the message loud and clear.
Play along and be his girlfriend until his memory returned to normal or else god knows what will happen.
You just wondered what you did to deserve being cursed along with him.
…
“I bet it was that old lady before the game.”
You lifted your head to find Jack lounging on the massage bed in your office, staring at the ceiling as he continued to contemplate. You had mentioned to him that you needed to finish some paperwork before leaving for the day.
You expected him to head back to his apartment with Luke, not stay behind with you.
Luke just cackled when Jack decided to stay with you.
Your brows furrowed together. “Who?”
“The weird old lady that I told you and Dawson about before the game,” Jack said, turning his head to look back at you. “The one who I said had bad juju?”
And of course he would remember that, just not the fact you weren’t his girlfriend.
Stupid curse.
“Oh, yeah,” you nodded, leaning back in your seat. “So, what? You didn’t take a photo with her and she curses you? Seems a bit harsh.”
“Maybe she didn’t like the fact I told her I wasn’t available,” Jack teased, winking at you.
It took every tensed muscle in your body to stop you from scrunching your nose in response.
“Seems likely,” you replied with a strained smile on your face once more. “Right, I’m done here. Do you want a lift back?”
Jack laughed, pushing himself to sit up. “Yeah, unless you expect me to walk back to your place and meet you there.”
You froze. “You’re coming back to mine?”
“Duh,” Jack said, his brows furrowing a little at your reaction. “Like I do after every game, babe. This isn’t new. Are you feeling okay?”
“Yeah, just—” You waved him off, focusing on tidying up your desk instead. “Tired. I think I slept badly.”
“Aw, baby,” Jack cooed, and it was odd hearing it in a sweet, concerning way rather than the condescending tone you were used to. “S’fine, you’ve got me tonight. Bet you’ll sleep like a baby.”
“Definitely,” you agreed, making a mental note to strangle Luke the next time he came in for a deep muscle massage.
…
“Uh, where’s your clothes?”
Jack glanced over at you, that stupid grin on his face that still looked unbelievably fond. It felt wrong to be on the receiving end of it.
“M’getting ready for bed,” he said simply. “I can’t sleep in a shirt, babe, you know this.”
“Right, of course I do,” you nodded. “I was just testing you. Making sure you have no more memory problems.”
“That’s sweet, babe, but I am okay,” Jack assured you, climbing under the covers and settling on the right side of the bed, like he somehow fucking knew you preferred the left. “The doc cleared me and I’ve felt fine since. You know I’d tell you if I felt like something was wrong.”
“Yeah, I just…worry,” you answered after a few moments, trying to calm the thoughts racing through your head as you climbed into the bed next to him. You kept telling yourself to relax, to just pretend like this was normal, to do what the doctor said and play along with the curse so it doesn’t get worse.
But it was hard to believe you were sharing a bed with the boy when he—mutually—hated your guts a few hours ago.
“C’mere,” Jack hummed, pulling you into his embrace with ease and ignoring the way your body seemed to tense at the contact between you both. “Just relax. It’s hockey, hits happen. You know that.”
You swallowed. “Curses don’t, though.”
“True, but we will get through that too,” Jack said with so much confidence. “We’re a team, remember? I’ve got your back and you’ve got mine.”
Your eyes widened as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head.
“Mhm. A team. That’s us.”
Jack grinned against your head. “Goodnight, baby.”
“Night, Jack.”
…
You woke up the following morning to an empty bed.
For a moment, you thought the whole thing was a bad dream. You thought that it was some twisted nightmare your brain tormented you with, something that would haunt you for the next few days but ultimately forget.
For a moment, you let out a sigh of relief.
And then you heard a crash from the kitchen, followed by a familiar voice whispering ‘shit’ and realised it was not, in fact, a dream.
You weren’t even sure what you expected to find when you threw the covers off and quickly rushed towards the source of the noise. But finding Jack, half dressed, with two plates on the counter with a sizzling pan on the stove was not it.
“Oh hey, you’re up,” he beamed once he spotted you lingering in the doorway. “We didn’t have much in the fridge, so we should probably do a grocery run soon. But I managed to whip up something edible.”
You blinked. “You cook?”
Jack groaned but there was still a smile on his face. “Babe, I’m getting better. I only set the toaster on fire twice in the last few months!”
You blinked again, your brain far too tired to even stay with the conversation.
“Your coffee is in the fridge,” Jack said, turning back around to focus on not burning whatever was in the pan. “I didn’t make it, so I promise it tastes good. It’s from that cafe down the road you like.”
You knew the cafe well. It was one of your favourites and one you frequently bought coffees from, especially before work. You knew it wasn’t the most shocking thing in the world that he knew of its existence, but the fact he somehow seemed to know it was your favourite and choose the correct order threw you off.
“Thanks,” you murmured, taking a sip of the iced coffee whilst Jack just grinned at you.
“You’re snappy before coffee,” he teased.
You shuffled towards the stools by the counter, settling down as you watched the boy closely, like somehow staring at him would reverse whatever curse that old lady put on him. It didn’t. Instead, you were just blatantly staring at the shirtless boy in your kitchen like he was an alien.
He almost felt like one, if you were being honest.
“So,” you spoke up after a few moments. “What are your plans for today?”
Jack glanced over his shoulder, shooting you an odd look. “Are you sure you’re not the one who got hit last night? We have the charity event with the other boys, remember? The picnic in the park? Don’t tell me my date is bailing on me.”
You laughed nervously. “Of course not! Just…testing you again!”
“Well, you can chill with the tests,” he assured you, pressing another fucking kiss on your forehead that made you feel warm and gooey and confused as he placed your plate in front of you. “M’okay, baby, promise. Also, I promised Nico we would bring something so we should probably stop by some bakery and grab cookies, or something.”
You only hummed in response, fighting the urge to blurt out the truth and somehow relieved that you wouldn’t have to be spending the day alone with him.
…
“You. Here. Now.”
Luke blinked, his brows furrowed in confusion as he stared at you. He pointed his finger towards himself and you could have rolled your eyes if you weren’t so desperate.
“Yes, you, idiot. Hurry up.”
However, Luke was a little bitch so he slowly made his way over to the tree you were currently hiding behind, a plate of finger foods in his hand that he was snacking away on.
“Sup?”
You stared at him blankly. “You’re already on thin ice.”
“Aw,” Luke cooed, a teasing grin growing on his face. “Was the night with Jack that bad?”
“He knows things!” You hissed under your breath, a bit more frantic that you would have preferred. “We need to find this fucking witch, I can’t do this anymore.”
“It’s been less than twenty-four hours,” Luke pointed out.
“It’s freaky as fuck,” you retorted. “He knows things about me that a normal boyfriend would.”
“Wow, it’s almost like magic,” Luke deadpanned.
“I hate you.”
“Rude way to talk to your possible future brother-in-law,” Luke grinned, letting out a squeal when you pinched his side. “Ow, ouch! Okay! I’ll try to keep him away from you as much as I can.”
You sighed. “Thank you.”
…
It took twenty minutes before that plan flopped.
Jack snuck off after an interview he had done with Luke for the Devils social media team, hardly giving his brother a chance to come up with an excuse to hang out on the other side of the park before he hunted you down.
You almost screamed when a body flopped down on the blanket beside you, Jack’s grinning face in your line of vision as he settled his head on your lap.
“Hey, stranger,” he greeted, lifting his hand to tuck some hair behind your ear. “You’ve been quiet today.”
“Just tired,” you said, the response almost automatic at this point.
But Jack frowned. “I think you might be getting sick. We should pick up some soup from that deli place you like, down in Hoboken. Maybe pick up some tea too.”
Your throat felt tight but you nodded nonetheless, hoping your surprise wasn’t obvious on your face.
Fucking magic.
…
When you woke up the next morning, Jack still thought he was your boyfriend.
The next day was the same.
So was the one after that.
And the days following.
Before you knew it, it had been well over a week—honestly closer to two weeks—and the curse seemed well and truly cemented in place. It was still an absolute mind-fuck, and not just for you but everyone on the team.
It felt like one big secret you were all holding back on telling Jack, letting him live in some weird and ignorant bliss. The worst part was that he was so unsuspecting of the people closest to him lying to his face. He didn’t question the snickers Dawson or Luke would sometimes let out when the two of you showed up to work together. Or the way Nico seemed to actively avoid talking about the relationship (despite Jack insisting it was his friend’s shove that prompted him to ask you out). Or the fact you had been ‘sick’ for the last two weeks and, therefore, unable to kiss him.
Though, that one was easy with hockey players and their odd superstitions and need to prevent any possible scrap from a game.
He was so trusting and gullible when it came to the people around him, you almost felt bad.
The emphasis being on almost because by some weird and twisted turn of events, you didn’t mind it. Not really. Not after the initial weirdness and tension of it wore off. Maybe you had been single for too long or maybe you were mourning something you had never truly experienced, the love and attention of someone who notices, who sees you, who cares about keeping you happy.
It felt wrong, like you were exploiting Jack for emotions and feelings he didn’t organically have. But it also felt too nice to tell the truth, to tell him that you weren’t really his girlfriend and lose the benefits you had gained over the last two weeks.
It was weird seeing this side of Jack. Not a bad weird, just a different kind.
A kind you knew you would have to give up once the curse was gone.
“M’gonna be a bit longer, Dawson wanted to run some more drills outside of practice,” Jack said as he lifted himself off the massage bed, flashing those puppy dog eyes at you that made your stomach twist in endearment (when once upon a time, they pissed you off). “Wait for me? I’ll pay for your lunch.”
“You don’t have to bribe me, you know,” you snorted but your eyes fluttered shut as he rounded your desk, placing a kiss on the top of your head. “But deal. We’re getting burritos.”
He beamed, shaking his head fondly. “Fine. I’ll catch you in a few hours.”
You watched him scurry out of your office, probably running through the corridors to get to the locker room before he was reprimanded for being late. He had even arrived two hours earlier than he was meant to, just because he wanted to chill in your office whilst you worked.
It shouldn’t have made your heart flutter when you knew it wasn’t really Jack but it did.
It really fucking did.
…
It was an hour or so later when you couldn’t ignore your stomach rumbling anymore.
There was still another two hours before Jack would step off the ice, heading towards the locker room to shower and change before the two of you could grab some food. And you sure as hell could not wait that long.
You let out a groan, your joints clicking as you stood up from your desk for the first time in a few hours. You ignored the voice in the back of your head that reminded yourself to try walking around a bit more between writing reports before you headed into the hallway, deciding to treat yourself to the vending machines closer to the players’ locker room (it had better snacks, despite what management liked to tell everyone).
You had been standing in front of the vending machine with your brows furrowed in contemplation that you hadn’t even noticed an old lady approaching you.
“You’re the girl.”
You jumped out of your skin, an unflattering noise of surprise leaving your lips as you stared at the woman with wide eyes. “I, uh, what?” Your brain took a few seconds to catch up. “I mean, I am a girl. I don’t know about being the girl.”
The woman smiled and it sent shivers down your spine. “Hm, yes, I can see it now. His aura lingers on you.”
You blinked. “Excuse me?”
“Oh, but the magic remains. It is strong. Pungent,” she continued, tsking as she shook her head. “You delay the inevitable!”
Your eyes widened as you took a step back on instinct. “You’re the one that cursed Jack, aren’t you?”
“Curse?” Her smile became knowing, sneaky, disconcerting. “Oh, honey, there was no curse.”
You frowned. “Uh, ma’am, with all due respect, I find that hard to believe considering he—”
“All I did was give him what he wanted,” she said, so simply and so directly that it caught you off guard. “His deepest desire to be his, though I assumed that would be a game win. The losing streak was quite off-putting.”
“I—” You blinked. “So, wait. You’re a fan?”
“Yes,” she stated. “Was it not obvious?”
You bit back the sarcastic response that wanted to leave your lips. “And what? You cursed him to win the game?”
“That was my mistake for assuming it was what he desired the most,” she replied, that almost-creepy smile on her face. “It seems his deepest desires lay with you.”
You stared at the woman in front of you. “You’re joking, right?”
“I do not joke,” she stated bluntly.
“So…the way he’s been acting…” you trailed off, your mind racing with a million different thoughts.
“All himself,” the woman answered. “Think of the magic as the confidence boost he needed to get there.”
“He likes me?”
“Yes.”
“Like, properly?”
“Yes.”
“And everything he’s been doing? That’s been done by him and not influenced by magic? Not even the tidbits of knowledge?”
“My dear, it sounds like you have been very oblivious to how this man feels about you.”
You shot her a look, unsure how you felt about being called out by the very witch who ‘didn’t curse’ the boy you had been calling your boyfriend for the last two weeks.
“Oh my god.”
“Though, it seems like his change in relationship with you has been what he needed to get him out of his losing slump, so I guess we both win.”
You frowned a little. “You’re one odd lady.”
She shrugged in response.
“How did you even get in here?”
…
“Run it again!”
Jack’s muscles were screaming at him as he pushed himself across the ice, pushing himself to go faster, faster, faster like the coach wanted as he carried the puck on his stick. His eyes were laser-focused on the players around him, on dodging the defencemen lined up in front of him and skating around them to get to the goal.
He didn’t let himself relax until the sound of the puck hitting the back of the net hit his ears.
“JACK!”
He turned his head, expecting to find one of his teammates skating towards him to celebrate his goal in their makeshift drill. But instead of Nico skating towards him with his arms in the air or Dougie prepared to smack him on the back for dodging his attempts, he instead found you standing by the tunnel.
You looked flustered and on edge and panicked, and it made his spine straighten.
Jack dodged the others, ignoring whatever the coaching staff were barking at them as he made his way towards you at a speed that you would have disapproved of if you knew how sore his muscles were.
“What? Are you okay? Did something happen?” He asked frantically, confused as to why else you would have interrupted a training practice.
“You like me,” you said to him.
His brows furrowed in confusion. “Uh, yeah, babe. I do. What are you—”
But before he could continue, you grabbed his face with both hands and tugged him closer. He stumbled a step or two before his lips were pressed on yours. His surprise disappeared after a few seconds, his body melting into the kiss and his brain forgetting whatever he was trying to ask moments ago.
He was still in a daze when you pulled away, your hands still holding his face and your gaze completely focused on him, like you were expecting to see something different.
“Do you still like me?” You asked, a little breathless.
And he felt winded.
Winded by an influx of memories and realisations and emotions that were all his own. Winded by the magic coursing through him, ringing obvious and evident to his body despite two weeks of feeling nothing. Winded by the look on your face, a hint of fear and hope shining in your eyes as you awaited his response.
“Yeah,” he rasped, his cheeks burning hot. “I do.”
“Okay,” you nodded, your lips twitching upwards. “Good.”
And then you kissed him again.
However, this time it was the shrill of a whistle that broke you two apart, the annoyed voices of the coaching staff telling Jack to stop slacking and continue on with his training ringing loud and clear through the rink.
“We still have a lot to talk about,” you said as Jack began to skate back towards the rest of the group. “Like, a lot.”
He grinned at you. “We still on for burritos after?”
You laughed. “Only if you’re still playing.
“It’s a date, baby,” Jack winked.
It was well known by all that you and Jack Hughes did not like each other.
But maybe a little bit of magic was the shove the two of you needed to realise that wasn’t quite true.

work!from!home!ellie or housewife!ellie would be the perfect girl for me. the unconditional comfort and princess treatment you would receive after getting home from work, is indescribable. how do you even begin to describe heaven on earth? in respective epitome: her hands are heaven, and you are the earth. soon as your shadow pours through the cracks of your door, she is on her feet, waiting on the other side to greet you—perhaps, even carry you? “hey babe, was work good?” there is this ritualistic routine in place: ask about your day, plunge straight for your lips, kiss you softly to keep you wanting more, and pluck your bags away. sometimes, you'd express that you had a shit day, and ellie rearranges herself around you.
“c'mon, up.” she crouches below and scoops you into her lithe arms, raising you from that chthonic pain aching your ankles. it makes you roll your eyes; the act is damn old-fashioned. but, every once in a while, it hurts nobody. being brought to the cotton solace of your bed surely does the opposite of hurting. “want me to get down to buisness?” ellie asks with a dork-faced smile on her pretty, pink lips, teeth peeking in the middle. yet, her fingers are already sliding your socks off. “you already know the answer to that, idiot.” you nudge her in the side while her hands cup your ankles. “what did you spend all day doing, huh?”
everything, and at the same time, nothing. ellie never knows how to word it, but she definitely loves cleaning up the house for you. yeah, she has a mellow addiction to video games and other recreational livings, but the little services of love expand her heart thrice the usual. “nothin' much. but i got that faucet workin' in the bathroom now. wanna see my work?” little rewards for you to return home to, even if they happen to be salacious. “wanna feel me against you, huh? uhuh—okay, just lay back baby.” little whispers that crackle in the space of night, crisp yet soft things, twinings of the legs that weep wantingly in the center; her core so pent-up, she releases all over your entrance—fingering the rest inside with a whispered, “fuck, take me.” under her breath. her hips feel so fucking good at the epilogue of the day, holy shit. yeah, you think she deserves that playstation five.
a/n: will probably write more about housewife!ellie, tbh.

Something something Dooku survives the Clone Wars, the Imperial Era, and even a few years past the OT...
And Luke finds him while looking for More Jedi to help him teach.
Chewie recognizes the decrepit old bastard, and there is yelling, but being A Hundred And Nine has mellowed Dooku out in his own dusty hermit hut, on the other side of the galaxy from Ben and Yoda's hermit huts.
All the Jedi ghosts are unhappy with this but Dooku is… not REFORMED, technically, but he's old and tired, even if the Force keeps him a bit more healthy and energized than the average Old Guy, and humans routinely live to pretty unreal old ages in the gffa anyway so really 109 for them is probably like 85 for us.
But yeah. Old mountain hermit (to contrast the desert and the swamp) who's been in hiding from That Dick Sidious since he lost both hands to babyface Vader in 19BBY.
@jebiknights (Sammie) said:
Dooku finds out Luke was also trained by Yoda and is like "oh Yoda finally gave me a younger brother like I always wanted"
Alternately he could probably get Luke to call him Great-Great-Grandfather.
Sammie: Funniest option is he's both which makes Luke even more confused lmao Ghost Obi wan in the background like "stop fucking using non Jedi terms to describe Jedi relationships it doesn't fucking work"
Luke calls him, irreverently, Gramps, but also. Leia definitely recognizes him as a Recent Historic Political Figure, but not until AFTER Luke has already integrated Dooku into his new Jedi school.
"Why did Chewie let him do that?" He thought it was funny. (And/or if you like Chewku, you can make this some sordid exes thing.)
"Why did R2 let him do that?" Best keep evil man in electrical prodding range.
Sammie: Leia comes to the school for her biweekly Jedi lessons and sees the newest teacher was a traitor to the Republic 😭
Best if they can find Quin or Ventress out in the black. Partly because like. Does this make Ventress their step-grandma (Quinlan's on-off something) or their great-great-aunt (Dooku's 4th apprentice)?
Sammie: Both and also Luke's niece. Luke has a migraine by the end of it and Leia is ready to disown herself. Ventress: I didn't realize the Jedi were so incestuous Luke: war flashbacks to before he realized Leia was his sister
Ahsoka in the corner with Spacebucks, five years late "Y'all suck. Hey, Quin."
Sammie: I know you likely didn't bring up Quinlan thinking of QuinObi but now I'm imagining Quinlan declaring himself their grandpa when he meets the twins bc 1) he loves to cause chaos 2) he does/did consider Anakin his kid even if not in neat non Jedi terms and 3) Obi-Wan thought being considered Anakin's father made him sound old, and Quinlan needs to harass him beyond the grave
Dooku must have a cane that the ghosts heckle him about because He Clearly Wants To Be Just Like Yoda.
@lyntergalactic (Lyn) said:
I feel like evil gramps could really bring out Ahsoka's snark once she shows up and that would be highly entertaining Ahsoka is simultaneously his most and least favorite grandchild
She's the most experienced as a Jedi (Ventress went full Sith, not just leaving the Order but following the tenets like Ahsoka, and Quinlan isn't in the lineage), has never Fallen unless you count that thing on Mortis.
Also she WILL bitch Dooku out at this age, and honestly he kind of appreciates the brutal honesty.
Ahsoka: I'm not a Jedi. All the old people: Lies
She brings up the Hondo incident since nobody else is putting in the effort. Anakin and Obi-Wan COULD as ghosts but nooooooo she has to do everything around here.
Sammie: Oh but it sets them off so hard they can barely get the story off from laughing NGL I think the twins did not understand how truly annoying Obi-Wan and Anakin could be together until the Hondo story gets told.
They are The Worst.

✮ LOSER!CHRIS AND MEAN GIRL!READER BLURB 0.3
disclaimers: mentions of heavier drugs [ coke ], mentions of and usage of psychedelic drugs [ acid ], bad drug trips, swearing, mentions of alcohol, angst.
loser!chris who always has every single one of mean girl!y/n's favourite things packed into a duffle bag beside his bed, so he's prepared whenever she shows up at the start of what feels like a bad trip or she's severely hungover and doesn't want to put on an "everything is perfect" mask around her family and whatever over the top gathering they're holding. sometimes. she just needs to mellow out, to rest in bed for the entire day beside her favourite person, to seek out the odd sense of comfort chris brings her, despite the fact she's adamant on not admitting that he puts her at ease.
as she steps into his apartment, her head starts to spin a lot more violently than it already was from the acid she dropped half an hour ago, her stomach turns anxiously, and she's quick to run into his arms, letting him hold her as the drug starts to kick in, and she begins to slowly relax into his hold, her mind slowly starts to melt as she lets the drug take over, and she's babbling about the colours she's seeing and the way it looks like chris' curtains are dancing in the wind, and the way it feels like the beat of the music chris put on is making the walls move in time with it.
and she stays with him, panicking all over again as her trip lessens before starting back up. and chris is there through it all, holding her close and giving her water, reminding her that she's safe over and over again until the drug fully wears off after about five hours, and falls asleep curled between his duvet and sheets.
and when she wakes up the next morning, she feels a bit unsteady and hazy, asking chris why he let her stay over, and he rolls his eyes affectionately before pressing a kiss to her forehead, and explaining she didn't feel safe enough to go home because her parents would either be drunk or have people over, and as much as she adores her step-mom, she knows her focus would be on the people she's hosting instead of her daughter, and chris' heart tightens with anger and frustration as her face falls, realizing just how vulnerable she'd been with him.
she's quick to gather her shit, telling chris she'll see him at karina's party later that night, trying to get out of there as fast as possible, pushing down the uncomfortable sense of safety and warmth building in her chest at the thought of chris taking care of her without a second's hesitation, she hates to think about how much he cares, and how much it affects her.
and when she sees him later that night, sitting on a patio couch, his legs outstretched before him, a charming and gentle grin on his face as he talks to his brother in karina's backyard, a pretty little redhead perched on the other side of him, whispering and giggling in his ear, her jaw ticks with anger, and she sees that she's nothing special to him, just like every guy who was exactly like him that she's been with. but as she pours a hefty shot, she's wondering why it bothers her so much to see him, assumedly, entertaining another girl.
and she picks at everything about him that she can see to make herself feel better, she hates how long his hair has grown, and she hadn’t noticed when she was tripping shit in acid at his apartment earlier, and she hates how much she loves the natural curl to his hair, and the way she wants to play with the curls. and she scoffs in such a snobby, nose upturned to the sky kind of way, at the fact that he’s wearing white birks to a public outing, and she can’t get over how much he exudes such strong loser energy as he laughs with his friends over stupid shit with a joint dangling from his lips.
and karina watches the entire scene unfold with a knowing smile, karina's girlfriend was the one sitting beside chris, talking to him about the shit she wants to buy so her and karina can have some fun, and chris finds it hilarious how open this chick is, and as he reaches into his pocket, fishing out the baggie of sour diesel he packed specifically because karina asked, he spots y/n, placed so prettily in another guy's lap, her hand playing with his hair, the same way she'd play with chris' as his group of friends piled into his living room, the group of six of them sharing a blunt, making y/n giggle as chris kept shifting beneath her.
and he watches with bated breath as the guy gently tweaks the bows pinned so nicely in her hair, making her laugh shyly as she swats his hand away. he hates the domesticity of the scene unfolding in front of him.
and his eyes narrow, tossing the bag to the redhead beside him before taking off, not giving a fuck about the potential sales he’s missing out on, texting his main coke buyer that he'd do a drop off later. and he's angry as he sends a text to y/n.
chris
so now that we're around ur type of ppl, suddenly i'm not good enough for u to be around? u had no problem sitting yourself in my lap at jake's party the other night? all these people know we're hooking up.
y/n
why are you so worked up over this? it's not like we're dating, plus that redhead seemed to keep you busy
chris
so that’s what this is abt? if u even had bothered to talk to ur so-called best friend karina, u would know that’s her girlfriend that she wanted everyone to meet lmfao.
ur always so concerned with ur own problems and so wrapped up in your own mind that u don’t gaf about anyone else.
i’m over it y/n don’t bother coming by later i’m gonna be busy
y/n
what? where the fuck are you gonna be?
chris
i’m gonna be doing a big drop off at the bonfire by the docks and no you’re not coming with me.

New Party, New Face
ellie x fem reader
you go to some boring party but the night ends pretty exciting for you and the friend you make. Though, is friend really the word for it?
contains: smut, weed, alcohol, oral (r receiving), strap-on (r-receiving)
MDNI and men get away
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The party was in some dingy neighborhood you’d never been in before. To be honest, you only came along because your friends convinced you to have an adventure. Sure, you liked to party, but you expected it to be another awkward night with no real point.
Inside, you mainly hung out in the kitchen sipping on a beer and watching over your friend in the living room. You’d dressed up only to the extent of a slutty top and a short skirt. Your typical doc martins matched with everything anyway.
The kitchen had one yellowing light under the skin. It made the room mellow and calm. The party was no rager. Just twenty something people all drinking and running around screaming. Your friend had found a girl she liked somewhere during the night and was getting friendly on the couch. The stranger seemed nice enough. You let it slide.
Hours into the night, you saw someone new emerge from the basement with the stench of weed trailing behind her. She walked slowly into the kitchen with you and began rummaging in the pantry for something.
You stared at her back, watching how her white tank top moved with her muscles underneath. Her twang brown hair was tied back in a bun and you noticed how her tattoo curled over her skin. She was probably high out of her mind, but you wondered who she was.
It was taking her a rather long time to find what she wanted to eat.
“You know,” you said, “Usually a person knows where the snacks in their own pantry are.”
She smirked, looking over her shoulder. “Yeah, I guess I’m overstaying my welcome. But, hell, I’m hungry.”
You smiled, putting your beer can down on the counter and walking over to stand beside her. “Whatcha hungry for,” you teased, looking over into her eyes as she focused her gaze forward.
Her hands gripped the edge of the pantry door and she chuckled. “Why, you got something you can give me?”
Somehow after that, you ended up following her to the basement. It was a small, chilly room with a single couch and tv stand. On the ground by the couch was her stash and a small backpack. You felt high just from the lingering second hand smoke.
She guided you to the couch and sat down so close your thighs were touching. You looked up at her smooth freckled nose and let your fingers curve over her knee. She was too busy lighting up and taking a hit to notice your staring.
“What’s your name?”
She nodded, exhaling. “Ellie. Yours?”
You watched the smoke curl and drift away before following its path back to her lips. “Whatever you want to call me.”
Ellie laughed and handed you the blunt. She bit her lip and stared as you took a long drag. The longer you held your breath the more her gaze focused on the curve of your lips.
She was sold the moment you exhaled. Her hand reached to take the blunt from your fingers and set it back down. She kept herself close, interlacing her fingers with yours as her other hand cupped your cheek. She let you fall forward into the kiss, shuddering as your fingers grabbed at the fabric of her tank top.
You sighed against her lips as she wrapped both arms around your hips and pulled you into her lap. Your legs hung over the arm of the couch as you cradled her face in your hands and kissed her deeper. Your tongue slid past the barrier of her lips and she moaned, nails digging into the waist and of your skirt.
The whole party seemed like a distant blur far away. As she dragged her hand over the curved of your tight to dip under your skirt, you swore the two of you were the only people in the world. Your fingers smoothed over her hair and she pulled your hips down to grind your cunt into hers.
You whined with gritted teeth, feeling a growing wetness in your panties as she continued the motion. Her own eyes rolled as she faltered in her kiss. She but your lip and tugged, letting the front of your skirt slide up so she could feel the lace of your underwear.
“Ellie,” you muttered. There was nothing else to say. Her name was your silent plea to go further. To hell with what you thought would happen tonight. You’d do anything to stay in this basement with her.
She hummed in agreement, trailing her lips down your cheek and onto your neck. She kissed and sucked at your sensitive skin, letting her teeth roll the bruising skin. You felt chills snake through your body. You swore she could feel your clit throbbing against her cunt with how desperate you were.
Her hands took their own accord, leading themselves under your tight shirt to grope your breast. They pressed into your nipples through your bra. With firm, slowly motions, she continued to feel you up.
Your head fell back and you moaned. Her constant attack on your neck and the teasing of your nipples was making you desperate. You had a pool dripping from your cunt that you needed her to take care of.
“What,” you breathed, “Are you gonna make me beg for it or something?”
Her lips pulled away from sucking below your jaw. She stared up at you, mouth slightly open with baiting breath. With the round, desperation in her eyes, it was almost her begging you to say please.
“I need to hear you say it, baby.”
You ran your thumb over her bottom lip, locking your eyes onto hers. Half-lidded, pupils dilated, you pouted. “Please, Ellie, please. I need you.”
She hummed, dipping her fingers under the wire of your bra. She felt your your nipples pebbled under her overzealous touch. “Need me to do what, princess?”
You leaned so close that you shared her breath. “I need you to eat me, Ellie.”
It was like you’d flicked a switch in her brain. Without hesitation, she flipped you so you were lying down and she was hovering over you. Her hands slid from your ribs to over your hip bones and down to your knees.
She spread your legs. You caught the moment her eyes set on the wet spot of your panties. You saw how her vision tunneled on your cunt.
“Oh baby,” she whispered. She tucked a stray strand of hair back and curled her fingers around the tops of your underwear. She had nothing else to say—nothing else to do but take your clothes off and fuck you.
You pressed your head into the pillow it rested on, taking in every detail of how she pulled your panties down your legs. You nearly cried when she stopped touching you to discard them somewhere. Your core as throbbing, your clit peaking through your folds for her.
She took no extra time getting down to her elbows and flipping your skirt up to rest on your stomach. Her mouth hovered over your cunt so you could feel her heaving breaths teasing you. It was cruel and you squirmed, urging her to start.
“So excited. Such a good girl,” she praised. Her voice was thick and enraptured. Like she wasn’t in control of stopping her thoughts. She let your thighs rest on your shoulders as she teased you with the tip of her tongue.
She slid it shallowly into your folds. The sensation made you whine and grab her head to push her further. She resisted but soon gave you what you want. She spread you further and let her flat tongue drag up your cunt and taste your slick. She flicked over your bud and had you crying out for her.
You moaned and gripped her hair as she latched her lips onto your clit. Every nerve bundled into your cunt was stimulated and you couldn’t stand how it made you feel. You watched her calm, steady head moved between your legs.
Her light eyes flickered up to meet your stare and that had you keening over again. She looked back with no shame, eating you like the meal she was starving for.
“God—fuck,” you moaned. “Don’t stop.”
You stifled a whine as she dragged a finger from your knee to your inner thigh. Continuing her work on your clit, she let you become distracted with how her hand moved from your leg to your cunt. She let her middle finger tease the eye of your hole.
You jerked your hips to get her to fuck you. She obliged, letting two fingers slip inside your entrance. She explored you, curling those fingers deeper as she sucked and rolled her tongue over your clit.
The combination had you seeing star. You were close to climax as she kept a steady, generous pace inside your cunt and feasted on your pulsing bud.
Your reactions, gaining in extravagance, let her know how close you were. She felt her own pussy throb as you begged her not to stop. She needed all of you and more. Your sopping cunt had her fingers squelching as she fucked into you, curing the pads of her fingertips every time to hit that spongy sweet spot.
You were cumming, your head tipping over the arm of the couch with your eyes squeeze shut. The pleasure blossomed from your core and spread throughout your body. Ellie helped you through, controlling her pace as much as she wanted to overstimulate you to tears.
Your chest rose and fell with heavy breaths as you came down from your high. Ellie lifted from in between your legs and licked her lips, staring down at your swelling breasts and blushed complexion.
She rubbed your leg and smacked your ass lightly. “Flip over.”
You knew better than to disobey. Your arms were shaky and weak but you flipped to lay on your stomach, pressing your knees into the couch.
Ellie stood up and walked over to her backpack. As she unzipped the pocket, you knew exactly what she was getting. Just the thought made you drip again. Your cunt was still throbbing and tense from your last orgasm, but she had her strap on faster than you could recover.
The other side of the couch dipped with her weight and she grabbed you hips. She lifted the back of your skirt and felt the meat of your ass. “You listen so well,” she said in erotic awe. “Now take all of me, baby.”
The tip of her cock slid through your folds. As she wet herself with your slick, she shamelessly bumped your clit just to watch you tense.
Just as you were about to start begging again, her too pressed into your entrance, taking every inch of your dignity as she possessed you. The thick veins of her shaft rubbed every surface inside of you and your arms gave out under you. You moaned into the pillow as you took her in. With every second of her sliding in, you wondered how much bigger she could be. You felt split in half and she was hardly moving.
She finally slowed to a stop inside of you. Her thumbs rubbed soothing circles into your hips and she hummed. “You okay, sweetheart?”
All you could was nod. You swallowed and shut your eyes, prepping yourself for when she’d start moving.
She was gentle. She fucked into you with slow, easing motions that had you moaning into the couch but also wanting more. Your head was spinning and she couldn’t stop grabbing your ass. Every thrust had you whimpering.
You’d forgotten about the party upstairs, not even worrying if someone coil come downstairs and find you two. Even if they did, that wouldn’t stop you.
Ellie leaned over you, humping you and pinching your nipples. Her heavy breaths in your ear sent another wave of need to your clit and you indulged. As she kept her dick deep inside, fucking you harder, she let you reach down and circle your clit.
“Need some help, doll,” she moaned in your ear. One of her hands left your chest to curl over your fingers. Together, your fingers rubbed and stimulated your needy bud. She guided you, finding a hard and faster pace and help you finish. She needed you to finish. It would make her cum just to have you moaning under her again.
Mere moments of her hand over yours, rubbing your bud, and her dick deep inside of you had you cumming. The pleasure had you stammering to find the curses to scream. Your head was a rolling vision of white-hot pleasure. Your screams were muffled into the pillow as you felt Ellie reach her own climax and fall on top of you.
She carefully pulled out, soothing you as you cried weakly from the overstimulation. “Easy, you’re alright,” she cooed.
Her strap went somewhere you didn’t know and she helped you roll over. You had almost forgot how pretty she was. Her soft feature and blissed out gaze made you smile deeply and pull her in for a final kiss. She melted into you and let herself fall into you.
She pulled away and pursed her lips. “Want to smoke?”

Love of immortal
Female reader
Warnings : Kidnap. Minor injuries. Molestation. Mention of rape.
𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒
Mermaids, sirens and more mystic creatures belongs to myth but more importantly came from ocean adding another layer of mystery to the ocean than it was already to (Y/N) who dislike oceans for petty reasons but it was the creature lurking under the ocean who consume her in the end.
Ocean. For some it's the peace of water that calms and erase their hard version of reality while for others a symbol of nightmare where tragic acts occur to horror them however (Y/N) somehow falls on the between of category. She neither has love or horror nor despise rather she merely dislike the ocean. Why ? Any actions or tragedy ? None rather she doesn't perceive ocean safe only because it is a mystery itself. She often find herself comparing abyss and ocean because neither of it has any predict of dept and once stare too much it can consume you. She pretty much fears the mystery lurking underneath the picturesque waters when bleamed by the golden rays from above the skies.
However who would ever predict that (Y/N) one day will be sitting on a cabin cruiser boat along side her older brother's family.
"Aunty ! Aunty ! Look at the gold fishes !" Her adorable five aged nephew cheerfully point at the little fishes swimming their ways.
"Yea, Yea". Her shoulders shrug glancing at the pretty ocean creatures yet a unknown shivers tense her spine just staring at the dept of water. An alarm inkling creep within her stomach making her (E/C) eyes avert to the lovey dovey couple.
"They pretty much brought me because they wanted a free babysitter. I am sure". Irritated she scoff earning her brother's attention.
"What ? Stop being so bitter just because you had to come in place of dad and mom". She rolled her eyes remembering how heartlessly they are traveling around the earth together leading them to turn down their son's invitation to the cabin cruiser boat he was offered by the company due to his excellence performance however they are family of three and they wanted no outsider to invade their holiday where they are free to be themselves and enjoy the blessed time choosing (Y/N) who is single, on her holiday and have nothing better to do. She was a substitute to her parent's place and abducted from the safety of her four wall she calls home by her brother only to watch their public affection and monitor their child.
"Shut up before I fucking cut your throat". Not holding back she cursed after placing her hands over the innocent boy's ears. Her brother, Anton click his tongue in annoyance while his wife, Maria who (Y/N) very much have connection alike an sister chuckles.
"You know I married you for your sister's company ?" She teased making her husband's mouth agap and catch her waist only for her to slip through his hands and playfully step back.
"What the ?" He tried to catch again only to lose turning it into a cat and mouse catching game where the couple laughed heartily.
"Ren want to ! Ren wants to play too ! Ren wants to play too !" Her nephew adressed himself as third person join to play the game too chasing his father. The scene evolving in front of (Y/N) won a laughter over her lips. The adorable family stare at her melody like laugh unable to seal their happiness too. Transformating the distant air to mellow unaware that caught the eyes of an mystic.
"How about I also catch aunty ?" In playful tone her brother presented went towards her to catch which ended him with a punch on his face.
"Don't". She snort watching his face twist into deep frown.
"How cruel". He commented
"Look who's talking". She remarked.
"Wifey, I am wounded. Please help me". Faux a sad tone he layed on his wife's embrace curling himself small when in (Y/N)'s view he looked like an bear trying to fit on top of an human.
"Yikes ! What a rubbish".
"Ouch ! Wound me again".
"Eww". Regret lace her voice on how on earth this grown man is her brother instead of an cool gentleman she saw others have. She side eyed the man getting coaxed by her sister-in-law who looks glad.
"What a teriffying thing love is". She shake her head to which her open (H/C) hair flow at the rhythm of cold breeze sparing a certain someone her entire view.
"Oh look !" (Y/N) eyes follow Maria's finger pointing to the ocean.
"An dolphin". Excitement sparkle Ren's eyes making (Y/N)'s eyes wide knowing exactly what this little trouble about to do.
"Ren stop". Despite her warning the oblivious child race to the railing tempt to touch the creature he finds fascinating, his little hands raise to cross the railing before (Y/N) caught his wrist. "Ren don't !" She yelled hugging the boy closely noticing how not one but tons of dolphin are either side of their ship.
"What in the world....?" A dread fill her stomach counting at least twenty or more dolphins surround their ship. "Anton, Maria stay away from the railing for now—MARIA !" She turn her head to find the woman reach her hand to pet the aquatic mammal.
Still cradling the boy she hastily slap her sister-in-law's wrist away. An inch. An inch was their gap she realized calming her pumping heart.
"(Y/N) ! What's your deal ? Why did you overreact ? Maria simply wanted to touch the dolphins also isn't it safe to pet them if they approach you first ?" Anton glare at his sister rubbing his wife's skin lightly.
"You are blind. Can't you see how many dolphins have surround us ? It's an alarming rate to ignore. Also as much as it's fine to pet. You can only do if you are a professional because only they know how to react to their behaviors not us !" (Y/N) glare back, guarding her sister-in-law as she watched in disfavor to the dolphins that tilted it's head. "And their sensitive parts are usually melon means forehead, eyes and blowhold and if petted could result to serious injury". She added noting how the group of dolphins are swimming in circle manner within themselves.
"Something is wrong. Very wrong". She narrowed her eyes at the dolphins she isn't much fond due to their another less known pet name 'the gangster of the ocean' since their behaviors doesn't match their innocence alike appearance where they forcefully rape other female dolphins, use pufferfish as their play toy resulting their deaths, mess with sharks for amusement and such. As much as they are intelligent enough to save a human as well as to drown one too.
"What are they doing ? Only dolphins are surrounding us not other fishes". Unease followed trying to find an answer for their pattern that might be normal yet something, something brewing inside her says otherwise.
"Just calm down and rest, we must not provoke them then they will go in their merry way". Maria tested to cheer up yet failed seeing her frown deepen so she nudged her husband.
"What ?" He whispered leaning near her.
"Do something !"
"What can I do when she is a grumpy cat". He groan when she hit him on his ribs.
"It was a command, mister". She smirked.
"(Y/N) it's alright, there is nothing to worry sometimes dolphins tend to circle around the ships, boats as a sign of protection or curiosity". The (H/C) haired woman nod remembering indeed she read that in an article at her brother's word.
"Okay. Also forgive me for suddenly slapping your wrist and yelling". Guilty weight on her voice as she apologized.
"It's alright. You were doing for our own sakes". Maria smiled revealing her side dimple.
"Still stop being a worrywart". Anton not forget to comment loving his sister's muttering curses. (Y/N) sighing stretch her head putting her nephew down to stretch her arms as well to finally focus on the rare opportunity.
"So empty". No other ships or boats seen yet "So beautiful". The ocean's vast expanse gleamed like a canvas of molten gold, as the sun's radiant beam danced across its waves. The water's surface shimmered and sparkled, a dazzling display of light and color, as if a thousand diamonds had been scattered across its surface. Above, the sky was a brilliant blue, with just a few wispy clouds scattered across it, like cotton tufts carried on the breeze.
In the distance, a line of birds flew in perfect formation, their silhouettes etched against the sky like a delicate pen and ink drawing. They moved in unison, their wings beating in a slow, hypnotic rhythm, as if choreographed to the ocean's gentle swell. The sun's golden rays caught their wings, casting a shimmering glow around each bird, like a halo of light.
As the birds flew overhead, their soft cries echoed through the air, blending with the soothing melody of the waves. The ocean's gleam seemed to intensify, as if reflecting the joy and freedom of the birds in flight. The scene was one of perfect harmony, a symphony of light, sound, and motion, where the ocean, sky, and birds blended in a glorious celebration of life and beauty she ever seen at one sight is truly to behold. An living art is what deity has bestowed humans in form of nature. For a moment truly did all of her tension, clouded thoughts wash away lifting her mood.
Eyes too captured to blink as if the sight would lose from her grasp when her breath hitched and eyes wide in rejection because a huge dark patch of figure in between the dolphins is swimming at her side. "What is that ?" She whisper in utter confusion.
Immediately did (Y/N) search her bag to find her binoculars and squint to look clearly yet to no avail did she success in figuring the creature out. "What is this ? Another sea animal ?" Curiosity ate her as she sat near the railing waiting to understand. "Are the dolphins protecting the thing ?" Because the figure only move in between the dolphins that circle around it, also if it were enemies the fight would had broken out already.
SPLASH ! Disbelief paint her expression witnessing an tail flared out of the water, its vibrant green scales glistening in the sunlight. The tail's surface rippled and flexed, revealing a mesmerizing pattern of lighter and darker shades of green, like the swirling hues of a tropical lagoon. For a fleeting moment, the tail's full majesty was on display, its sleek, streamlined shape slicing through the air. Then, with a swift motion, it vanished beneath the waves once more, leaving behind only a hint of its presence—a whispered promise of secrets hidden beneath the surface.
"It's impossible ! That was almost like an mermaid !" She screamed standing up from her seat startling the family who had been engrossed by the fishes on other side, their heads jerking up in unison like puppets on a string. Silence spread except for (Y/N)'s heavy breathing, as if the very air had been sucked out of it. Anton's family exchanged bewildered glances, unsure how to react to her outbrust of something unbelievable. The tension was palpable until finally, Anton burst out laughing, breaking the spell, and the air erupted into chuckles.
"What are you talking about ?" Anton questioned.
"Aunty ! Mermaids are only myths don't you learn ?" Ren's eyes winkled in mischief and grining ear to ear.
"I think you should rest". Suppressing her bubbling smile Maria suggested making her enraged.
"I am not lying ! I truly saw it ! I-I-" She spoke with a hesitant cadence, her stutter punctuating each sentences as if the words sounds distant to herself. "Believe me—" An abrupt end her sentences as the boat shuddered violently, its hull creaking in protest, before jolting to a sudden, eerie stillness.
"What happen ?" (Y/N) was quick to question, her heart sank in her stomach.
"It's alright let me check !" Anton wave his hands controlling the situation by walking to the back of the boat while Maria hold her child and gave a comforting pat behind (Y/N)'s back who's eyes glance up to meet the softly glowing sinking sun low, warm hues fading to pinkish blues, slowly extinguishing its light, about to surrender to darkness.
"We have to hurry". Suddenly a gentle noise turn her attention to the ocean where her fearful eyes locked onto the twenty dolphins, their fins slicing through the water, swimming away from the ship, as if luring her into the dark, mysterious depths, escalating her anxiety. Confusion of their sudden departure crawl into her mind raising a unbelievable question.
"Did the dolphins did—"
"Sorry honey and (Y/N) but there seem to be some kind of problem I can't figure out". He click his tongue in annoyance looking at the water. "Maybe I should dive in to che—".
"No ! Not at all". Her voice broke in denying in beat. "It's not safe to dive without having the knowledge of what animals are underneath". She finished elaborating her honest worry.
"Then what should we do ?" Her sister-in-law rest her chin on her palm.
"Maybe stay at the ship !" Ren glee voice yell loud, smiling non-stop.
"What ? But aunty doesn't—". Anton's voice once again cut.
"Aunty is okay with it as long as we are safe". Straining a smile she bent to hug his small body. Unaware the words were far from the reality bound to happen.
Darkness shrouds the boat, stars twinkling above. The woman presses against the window, gazing out at the black ocean, boat's lights casting a golden glow on the waves and little view for her to guard around. Yawns slip past her lips she can't conceal unlike her sleep all because of her growing fear of what might happen if she fell asleep peacefully.
"Did I imagine the tail ?" She pondered on how much her dislike for water grew to the point she hallucinate something belonged on fiction tales and stories to amuse children. She saw her wrist watch : 11:00 pm as drowsiness crept over her, heavy eyelids drooping, until a faint splash echoed through the air, jolting her awake with a start.
"What was that ?" Instantly she sprint outside her room to outside only be finding nothing not even water drops on the wooden floor. Her head tilted pluzzed questioning whether she herself heard right or perhaps it was the noise within the water. Relieving a sigh she walk back to her room noticing how in hurry her door opened a little offering her to spot wet wooden floor.
She halted. Knowing very well the ship isn't crash to be filled with water nor did she spill any water yet how come it's wet ? Unless "It was a trap. A trap for me to go outside and someone—" Fear gripped her throat to let out any voices knowing someone is inside her safe room. Slowly stepping backwards she wince at the creaking noises and walk to find her brother's room only to encounter group of dolphins gather at the boat's railing, clicking and whistling softly as they try to squeeze through, their bodies undulating and scraping against the metal in a gentle yet persistent bid for entry.
This time the scream was unrestricted freezing the sea creatures as she run back to her room forgetting about an intruder inside her room, quickly her fingers barricade the door with any possible object. Her chest constricts, air trapped in her lungs as fear paralyzes her. Her heart races, mind frozen in terror, unable to process the surreal horror unfolding before her. When a cruel realization wash her now she is alone with an intruder.
Ever slowly she turn around facing the certain someone she confirmed got a glimpse earlier, eyes wide with dread, she's petrified, her breath caught in a silent scream gazing the mythical creature.
A merman.
She shrink back in fear and fascination entwined like the tendrils of a vine. Her breath hitches, heart racing, as she stares into his shimmering scales and piercing gaze. Transfixed, she's unable to look away, her terror tempered by a hypnotic allure, as if drawn into the depths of his oceanic eyes. The merman's mystique holds her captive, a siren's call that beckons her closer, even as her mind screams to flee.
"It's not real". She whispered refuse to acknowledge his existence in front her. How could she if he had the power to crush her in his palm only ? Options limited for her to choose from, flee ? How when outside soldiers of dolphins are scattered. Fight ? Unbeatable his strength are comparing to hers just merely stare at those muscular flesh. Pled ? Perhaps yes.
"P-Please. P-Please don't kill me and my family". Her (E/C) eyes swell up with tears. His on the other hand curve in satisfaction. Silence was all given answer before his lips parted and his voice unfurls like a dark bloom, petals of sound that envelop (Y/N) in an unsettling embrace. His song is a low, thrumming whisper, a vibration that resonates deep within her chest, making her heart quiver. Fear's icy fingers crawl up her spine as his melody conjures visions of shadowy depths and forgotten nightmares. A voice masterful of manipulation, weaving a tapestry of dread that ensnares (Y/N)'s mind, each note a delicate thread of terror that binds her closer to his will.
"He is not a merman instead a siren". Her hands clap into her ears protest against the enchantment no matter what. She even dug her fingers deep into her ear buds yet the voice still sweep. Blood bled yet his voice stayed. No. No. No. No. No. She won't lose without a tough fight she decided retrieving her fingers staggering her feet she broke the wooden table holding a piece of wood further entertaining the male siren who sat comfortably on the soft bed, singing his lure.
He is confident. Even arrogant she won't able to resist longer after all he is a siren, the very creation of creature made to spellbound humans by his mesmerizing voice awakening the deepest desires of foolish humans who deem themselves intelligent and courageous. In reality they are very insignificance to mythically sea species as plankton. However it falter his view a little when her hands grasp the wooden plank crashes against the siren's tail, the impact sending a shudder through the air along his melody stutter like skipping beats allowing her a chance to attack again this time on the same spot intend a injury however he was faster, smarter shifting his tail and slapping her entire being to the floor.
Ha. An enigmatic smile cast upon his ruby lips as his eyes studied the fragile being refusing him, his voice drop to a low, husky whisper like the gentle lapping of waves on a moonlit shore. An unfamiliar interest spark because the entire reason he even attacked the ship was for his boredom. Weeks had passed with no signs of any new human toy leading him to hunt trivial creatures with his species rejecting any seduction from his female species because they were dull, boring until today a joyful laugh captured his eyes with curiousity. A boat with humans. Mischief control his mind to hunt them right away yet a strange feeling to observe came over so he watched. Their teasing remarks, pretending fights that he realize too late his compatriot dolphins has appeared too to guard him even though in sea world all knew the most dangrous predator is sirens themselves yet the dolphins befriend their species like moth to flame.
First he was angered for the dolphins to do as they pleased yet he was curious to see how would those humans react especially that female (H/C) head and certainly did not fail to surprise him by showing disfavored towards the creatures humans oh so adore. Giving him more reason to hunt the boat and to see more unfolding layers of emotions on the certain female he gifted peek of his existence biting back laugh to destroy their weirdly metals called engine he heard them talking.
The trap was set now the prey has to walk into it for him to tear, dices the warm flesh like he always did leading to their current time.
But he come with the terms to enjoy his little toy longer. Yes, he will show generousity by sparing her alive and label her his pet. The delicious thought impatient him greatly he slams his tail on the boat's floor, echoing like thunder, His eyes not tearing from her figure, With each strike, the winds howl and waves churn, the siren's song weaving a tempest of delightnent. The boat shudders, wooden planks creaking beneath the force of his call. Floor shakes unable for (Y/N) to hold her balance.
"What is happening ?" She cried out falling on the hard floor again and again. Her barely lidded eyes stare at the window to see dark clouds converge, unleashing a torrent of rain that lashes down on the boat. Winds shriek, whipping waves into a frenzy as the vessel creaks and groans. Water pours in, flooding the decks as the boat's timbers shudder and crack. The siren's song reaches a fever pitch, his tail thrashing the sea into a chaotic tumult. The boat's hull splinters, planks bursting apart as the waves surge in, threatening to engulf all in their path. Rain pounds down, stinging skin and blinding her eyes, as the tempest rages on, merciless and unrelenting eventually drowning into the ocean she fears.
"Brother. Sister-in-law.." Her thoughts tailed off. "Ren". Inhaling water, paralyzing her body that is useless against the water as she not learnt to swim. Mind spinning and finally she freed her conscious to be under the song spell closing her eyes wondering if it's forever. Missing the way a tail carry her waist upwards.
Her eyes slowly open, a grogginess clouding her mind and a sense of disorientation washes over her. As she tries to sit up, she felt touches of unwanted hands and caress on her bare parts. Fingers trace her arms, sending shivers down her spine. Her gaze falls upon the siren, his eyes fixed intently on her, his hands roaming shamelessly on her skin with a gentle yet firm touch. His calloused palms graze her shoulders, sending a spark of electricity through her veins. (Y/N)'s heart races, her mind foggy, as she tries to process what's happening. The siren's hands continue their exploration, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake, as (Y/N) struggles to find her voice, to protest and move away.
"Aww, is the little human can't move ?" A sarcastic laugh fell on her, his first words to her is a mock comparing their gap of strength angering her rather than fear.
She glared after all she is bound to die if sooner what's the point ? wiggle from his disgusting touches she tried her best to control her moments in which the male creature snicker leaning closer to her face.
"I saved you not to free you. You little delusional human. You are mine rightfully and let me use you as I please". A sinister smile curve finding fear mix anger on those beautiful eyes he before not paid attention. His fingers cup her cotton soft skin careful to not gaze her with his sharp nails. He press the skin more, feeling bones underneath and a flinch from the human.
His eyes wide in delightment. His another hand caress her cheek intensely watching her every twitch to blink.
Pearlix's finger pads rub (Y/N)'s lips. She narrowed her eyes.
His finger continue to trace path down to her chin. Her lips twist in scowl still under spellbound under him.
He paused at the delicate curve of neck and her pulse flutter under him.
His nails dance across the collarbone and her breath caught at her throat.
He is curious while she is in denial.
The contrast between them utterly fascinated Pearlix, that he toyed more around her body she so obsessed to cover with irrelevant clothes. Tearing bluntly he was baffled to find another layer of cloth so he tore again this time a pleasant hum vibrate from his chest staring the assets of female he never interest on his species yet this woman's are captivating inviting him to bite, touch so he comply to his desire.
One breast been fondling, another one biten harshly earning a wince from her. He smirked coating her bud with his saliva, sucking more and more with hunger that border on desperation. (Y/N) sucked a chunk of breath, tears itself steaming from her tail of eyes as she layed helpless until her body stirred, limbs twitching and sensation returned. Her face contorted, mouth opening in a ragged cry, as her sobs grew louder. Her voice cracked with emotion, cries echoing through the air. She wept uncontrollably stopping the siren entirely.
However not for the reasons she hoped for because he licked her salty tears savouring her sorrow and finally pounce on her attractive lips, grasping her air in form of claiming his possession, dwelling under her tongue, twisting and sucking altogether like an mad beast ignoring her whimpers, pushes against his chest.
Raged she bite down his slit tongue causing him to glare at her and dragging out his wounded tongue bleeding the sliver rivulets both surprising and scaring her.
"You know now I understand this fraction between us. I understand why I wanted you, kissed you, possessed you because". An errie smile stretch across his ruby lips while vivid green irises shone like beacons hinting his deadly obsession. "I love you". His icy heart pound warm against his flesh, heating his cheeks yet the razor sharp smile stayed.
"Be my wife". He announced not focusing her terror and he slashed his own palm, opening a deep gash that welled with silver blood. (Y/N) struggled to free herself, but the siren's hold was merciless.
He forced her lips to his palm, pressing her lips to the wound. (Y/N) tried to turn away, but he held her fast, his fingers wrapped around her jaw like a vice.
The first drop of his blood touched her tongue, and a searing pain, like liquid fire coursed through her veins. She gagged, trying to spit it out, yet the siren's grip was unrelenting. He forced her to swallow, his eyes blazing with an unnatural hunger.
As the silver blood burned its way down her throat, (Y/N) felt her vision blur, her senses reel. "Now you will be immortal like me. Mine for eternal". He sing song knowing no force of nature, not his merfolk, not even her dead familiar humans separate them.
"Our". He pressed a sadistic kiss. "Love of immortal".

He’s a soft Sergeant
Bucky x Y/N
Bucky finds out his doll is on her period.
Requests Open - See Blog!
Warnings: None, it’s just fluffy period comfort.
The sound of the front door clicked open, pulling Y/N out of her thoughts.
She didn’t have to turn her head to know it was him; she could sense his presence before he even stepped into view. Bucky had a way of filling up spaces with his warmth and kindness, making every room feel a little brighter and a lot more comforting.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he called out, his voice low and smooth, resonating in her chest like a favorite song.
Y/N managed a faint smile, turning her head just enough to see him entering the living room. His rugged features softened as his eyes fell upon her curled-up form, concern flickering across his face as he quickly approached.
The short mission he had just returned from hadn’t dulled his charm; if anything, it added a layer of rugged handsomeness that made her heart quicken.
“What happened here?” He teased lightly, arching an eyebrow as he observed her blanket fortress. “You look like you’re preparing for a winter in Antarctica.”
“Very funny,” she muttered, trying to hide the grimace that flared up as she shifted again. “Not feeling great, if you couldn’t tell.”
Bucky’s expression shifted from playful to sincere in an instant. He knelt beside the couch, his gaze steady, searching her face for the truth behind her smile. “What’s wrong, Doll?”
Y/N sighed, and in one breath groaned, “Lady Problems..”
“Oh. Do you need anything? Chocolate? Heating pad? A time machine to skip ahead to next week?”
Y/N chuckled softly, grateful for the attempt to lighten her mood, even though the heaviness lingered. “I could use a little of all that, actually,” she admitted, the fatigue draping over her like an unwelcome blanket.
Without hesitation, he reached over to the side table where a small stash of her favorite chocolates lay—his little contribution when he knew she was having an off day. “Well, I might not have a time machine, but I do have…...” Within 10 seconds, he ran into the kitchen and back with a treat in hand. “These.” He waved the chocolates as if they were a prize.
A smile tugged at her lips. “You always know how to bribe me.”
Placing the chocolate back down, Bucky moved closer, sliding onto the couch beside her.
He didn’t force her to sit up but instead reached out, tucking his arm behind her shoulders and gently pulling her against him. “You know I’m not above bribing you, Doll. I’ll even throw in a foot rub if you’re nice.”
Y/N relaxed into him, savoring the warmth radiating from his body. The moment had a comfort that felt like coming home, just as she always imagined it would be with him. “You’re the best,” she murmured, feeling her tension ease under the gentle weight of his presence.
“You’re too kind,” he said with a playful smirk, his fingers beginning to stroke her hair softly. “But I’m glad I’m here now. Got to make sure my best girl’s okay.”
She sighed, leaning her head against his shoulder, grateful for his understanding. “I don’t think I can move from this couch for a while. The world can wait, right?”
“Absolutely,” Bucky agreed, his voice low and mellow like a warm embrace. “The world can always wait for you.”
He gently tugged the blanket higher around her shoulders, making sure she was tucked in comfortably. “Let’s just stay here a while, huh? You can tell me all about your day. Start from the beginning. Did the couch win?”
Y/N laughed lightly at his teasing. “Yeah, the couch totally won. I lost the battle against it and just surrendered.”
“Smart move,” he remarked. “I can’t say I blame you. It looks pretty cozy.”
“You weren’t exactly as welcoming as the couch,” she teased back, glancing at him mischievously.
“That’s not true!” He feigned offense, but the smile on his face betrayed him. “I’m extremely welcoming. I take on all types of guests—even those wearing fuzzy socks and sweatpants.”
She couldn’t help but giggle at the image of herself in fuzzy socks, looking anything but glamorous. “The ultimate experience,” she commented, rolling her eyes in feigned disdain.
“Indeed. Very exclusive,” Bucky quipped. “You should feel honored.”
Y/N turned serious then, shifting slightly to meet his gaze. “I do feel honored. I’m lucky to have you.” Her sincerity didn’t escape him, and his playful demeanor softened in response.
“Trust me, the feeling is mutual.” He drew her closer still, wrapping his arm protectively around her. “Now, why don’t I tell you about my mission? It was dull and doesn’t compare to this quality time.”
As he spoke, she relaxed further against him, finding solace in his steady voice. It was easy to get lost in Bucky’s stories, his words painting the mundane in shades of adventure. He could weave tales of his missions and turn them into moments of wonder, making her laugh and forget the discomfort that lingered like a shadow.
The stories were warm, like a bowl of soup on a cold day, and Y/N savored every moment while guilt danced subtly in the back of her mind. Here she was, curling into Bucky while he had just returned from work, and yet all she could focus on was her discomfort.
“Did I ever tell you about the time I had to squeeze through an air vent?” Bucky asked, arching an eyebrow playfully, clearly trying to cheer her up.
Y/N chuckled, shaking her head. “That sounds like fun. When was this?”
“Few years back.” he replied, earning a melodramatic gasp from her. “I mean, come on. It was either that or face a dozen angry goons. I chose the air vent!”
“Good choice,” she said with a slight nod, leaning against him. “But I’m sure they didn’t appreciate that.”
“Oh, they appreciated it, alright. I left them a lovely note,” he continued, the glint in his eye playful. “I wrote it in blood.”
“Bucky!” She laughed incredulously, nudging him playfully. “That’s so morbid!”
“Gotta keep it interesting!” He shrugged, his smirk unwavering. “I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a little gothic flair?”
“Right. Because that’s what everyone loves—killer notes in blood,” she quipped back, shaking her head in disbelief, though warmth spread through her chest at his antics.
As he regaled her with exaggerated tales of heroics, she felt herself begin to forget the discomfort, the pain, the heaviness of the day. His playful banter and soft laughter encircled her, a warm blanket of affection that wrapped around her heart.
Eventually, as the daylight faded into twilight, Y/N found herself lulled against him, her eyelids growing heavy as he continued to tell his stories. The gentle rhythm of his voice was soothing, a balm for her tired soul. She could feel a sense of peace settle over her, a reminder of all the reasons she fell in love with him—his gentleness, his humor, his ability to turn even the darkest moments into light.
Bucky paused his narrative, glancing down at her as she nestled into the crook of his shoulder. Leaning closer, he pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head. “Hey, sleepyhead. You’re quiet. I didn’t put you to sleep, did I?”
She let out a small yawn, her breath warm against his skin. “Maybe just a little. Your voice is too soothing.”
“Good,” he replied. “I’ll just keep talking then.”
But in truth, she felt herself slipping further away, the heaviness of her discomfort diffusing like morning fog giving way to sunlight. "Maybe just a little less talking and more of this," she murmured, sinking deeper into his embrace.
“Deal,” he whispered, his thumb tracing gentle circles on her back, grounding her in the moment.
Sitting there together, the world outside continued to whirl by, but in that small pocket of time, all that mattered was this—Bucky’s warmth, the weight of his metal arm around her, and the sweet echoes of laughter that filled the air like a comforting lullaby.
Time was almost irrelevant here; it was just the two of them, wrapped up in their own little universe, a sanctuary free from judgment and filled with love. Each moment spent together reminded Y/N of how much Bucky meant to her, how he effortlessly made the hardest days a little softer.
As the dark blue of the night enveloped them, Y/N allowed herself to embrace the comfort he offered, closing her eyes and letting the worries of the world drift away, knowing that with Bucky by her side, she was exactly where she was meant to be.

can ask that you spill everything about your Splatoon OCs? 😺
ABSOLUTELY i did not expect anyone to ask to be honest….goodness where do i even begin. Let’s see. I’ll start with my main little doomed love triangle thing i suppose
Cecilia Paek, she/her, 24 yrs old, aka: cece, celia, eight, whore, freak, slut, etc. My agent 8. born in the domes under the name Paek Seo-Mi, but renamed herself to cece post-memory loss. A freak both in the not-safe-for-work sense and just. In general. She says the most unhinged shit in such a passive formal manner. Marina has to consistently tell her she’s not allowed to eat the jelletons. She bites. A lot.
aside from being a freak cece is curious and observant, but incredibly blunt and fierce. In the past Seo-Mi was a much quieter and more repressed person, but hearing the Inkantation awakened a flame within her, so to speak. Cece is incredibly vocal about her thoughts and feelings, and she does not like to be pushed around. although shes always been a very nostalgic person, shes been trying to look forward more often than not. (she was on team future!)
cece has a very mature, almost sisterly presence, and is especially close with neo 3 (ikra) and her pseudo sister agent 4 (yottsu). she also has a daughter of her own, yumi! ikra and yottsu are my friends ocs so i cant say too much about them but ikra is like, basically her and kyle’s adopted kid
Kyle Lastname, (Actual surname to be determined Eventually) he/him, 25 yrs, aka three, cap, kyle, ceces silly rabbit /j. he’s my captain 3. has a stupid ass name bc he’s a stupid ass guy. Basically started as a joke oc but i put him through the Horrors. he’s the malewife of all time.
Grew up the only hearing person in a deaf/hard of hearing household so he’s fluent in sign language. He joined squidbeak when he was like 16 mostly bc he was a MASSIVE FUCKING LOSER with a huge ego who wanted the attention. Now he has Trauma and hates his teen self more than anything. (The egotistical little white kid phase is like, a rite of passage in his family. His little sister is still in that phase.) Now that he’s mellowed out hes just a sopping wet cat. Dating cece and is obsessed with her + will do literally whatever she wants.
Hes a lot more talkative than canon 3, hes the kind of guy who copes with humor all the time. he tries to be cool and mysterious but hes really awkward and gets flustered or worked up super easily. He’s overall a pretty boring guy and thats his charm. She’s barbie and he’s just ken. etc etc.
Hes SO dad coded btw. He and cece have a daughter together, Yumi. Since he was young he spent a lot of time looking after his little sister and he’s basically adopted his protege, neo3 (ikra). he makes me think of RTGame for reasons i could not describe to you, it’s just the energy somehow. He’s my babygirl. My little meow meow if you will (Cece voice)
Victoria Mendoza, she/her, 25 yrs, aka Tori. SHE is the fucked up one. Literally doomed by the narrative. Eye love her.
She comes from a long line of elite soldiers and was a child prodigy, but also the Problem Child. Got expelled from multiple schools for beating up other kids. from a young age she’s been incredibly critical of the octarian society and she was basically your average teen rebel. into alt music/fashion, incredibly vocal about her distaste for the system, fairly closed off with a cold exterior. the only person she truly cared for was Seo-Mi (Cece).
Seo-Mi was quiet and sweet and generally pretty average academically, so she didn’t have nearly as much pressure on her to succeed compared to Tori. the two were childhood friends and teenage lovers. The only ones who truly matched each others freak if you will. When they were little girls they used to dream of escaping to the surface together. this changed when they were about sixteen years old.
the most important thing to know about tori is that she is a pessimist and at her core a Coward. She’s all bark and no bite. She’ll scream her hatred of authority from the rooftops but immediately crumble at the sight of her leader. and as she got older and officially entered her career, she lost hope. she determined the surface wouldn’t have anything more for her than the domes did. she became complacent, while Seo-Mi, who had previously been more neutral, had heard the inkantation and only become more determined to leave the domes.
The two desperately tried to change each other’s minds but they were far too stubborn. both of them were crushed by the supposed “betrayal” of their beloved. Inevitably Seo-Mi left for the surface, eventually being taken in to Kamabo Co. while tori stayed behind to rot.
Since Seo-Mi left, tori became more bitter than ever before. she turns her focus to her career, and her family, but she never truly moves on from the loss. Unfortunately, Cece did. Cece met someone else, she’s started a family, she has a completely new name. she’s essentially a new person. and Tori is still the same.
Canonically i don’t think they would ever meet again and actually recognize each other, but i like to play with the idea sometimes bc if they did they would Hate each other. Tori is completely incapable of accepting that her Seo-Mi has moved on. She is clinging on to a version of someone that doesn’t exist anymore. tori is a deeply self destructive person and will never move on in any sense of the word. Sad!
Also this is Yumi. Age varies but shes like. Very young toddler as of the current timeline. She’s cece and kyle’s favorite surprise (Accident). They’re both freaks and shes the consequences of their actions. She and smollusk have playdates together. She’s obsessed with off the hook but doesn’t realize that her weird lesbian aunts pearl and marina are the same people. She’s baby

"picking a leaf/flower petal out of their hair, or brushing dirt off of their face" for bucktommy or buddie? 👀
everything’s growing in our garden
buck/eddie | 2k | read on ao3
It’s a Saturday afternoon and Eddie is muddy-kneed and sweaty in his backyard, grass stains all down his jeans and freshly-dug dirt clinging to multiple senses—gritty between his fingers, scent mellow and earthy, in through his nose and settling soft on the back of his tongue.
The fact that it’s a Saturday afternoon on his day off is only relevant when presented with the combination of factors that find him alone in his garden today. First, he’s a dad to a teenager who has much less embarrassing things to do than hang out with his father on a weekend. Second, his two closest friends are dating each other. Third, Eddie’s not dating anybody.
So here he is, carefully planting winter squashes in the stretch of soil he’s just worked, because this is a new phase of life for him and things are changing for the different. They’ll be okay, he’ll be okay, he just doesn’t want to—get left behind. Stagnate. Hence, gardening. Maybe a little on the nose in terms of growth metaphors, but hey, he’s doing it, and that’s what counts. He thinks.
He spent a few weeks struggling to put a name to the new anxiety, or anxiety-adjacent twist in his stomach that made itself known after Buck came out to him. Not that night—that night was surprise and joy and this almost debilitating tidal wave of love he tried to wrap Buck up in when he strode across the loft into that hug.
But the next day, when Buck texted him that Tommy agreed to meet for coffee and talk? Something uncomfortable wrapped itself around Eddie’s insides, a python-grip of pressure, and it’s only gotten tighter since.
He entertained the idea that this time around maybe it was him who was jealous, his friend and his best friend dating each other and having less time for him. Except that’s not anywhere close to true—sure, his Saturday afternoons are a little emptier, but neither Buck nor Tommy have lessened the time they spend with Eddie on the whole. There’s still Muay Thai and basketball, there’s still homemade dinners and beers and movies on the couch. There’s nothing to be jealous of—he still has them both in the same capacity he always has.
Which is when he plucked at whatever tendril of envy had him in knots, following it back to the root. Watching Buck blush like a teenager in the face of Tommy’s earnest smooth-talking. Tommy absently reaching for Buck’s hand and intertwining their fingers when he drops by the station while they’re on shift. The way Buck seems to unconsciously sway into Tommy’s orbit, like a Great Dane who’s forgotten they’re too big for lap-sitting.
Maybe the thing Eddie was envious of, then, is less the replacement of a friend and more the lack of any of this, any of the easy affection, in his own relationship. Marisol was nice, kind, fine, but Eddie—he doesn’t regret ending things because he so badly wants to believe in more than fine for himself.
Marisol had looked almost relieved that she didn’t have to pull the ripcord on their relationship herself, confirming Eddie’s inkling that there was pretty much no coming back after he asked her to move out not one day post-moving-in. It’s a memory that’s going to make him wince for several years at least.
He ended up naming the ache, yanking off the mask like a Scooby-Doo villain reveal to look it in the eye. Oh, he’d thought, smoothing away a smear of soot on Buck’s nose, realisation just late enough that his hands remained steady in their obliviousness. This is the easy affection, isn’t it.
Buck’s nose crinkled with amusement and the knot in Eddie’s stomach loosened for half a second before coiling tight again, uncaring of his revelation. And, he supposes, that’s fair, because it’s not like this knowledge changes anything. Eddie can’t believe in the Universe because that’s a quick jaunt to feeling personally victimised by all of it, this singularly unbearable tragedy of timing in particular.
He's not surprised it took Buck to make him realise he’s—not straight. He hasn’t even let himself think about it, not really. The fact that it’s Buck is enough to anchor him from the alarm of a sexuality crisis. Nothing about loving Buck could ever be that scary. Still, the rest of it remains only in the recesses of his mind. He’s—on his way. He just doesn’t think he can struggle through a—a complete identity overhaul at the same time he’s struggling to make his peace with the fact that Tommy makes Buck really happy, and Eddie can’t ever be someone who puts that at risk. That Eddie’s lost Buck before he even realised he wanted him this much at all.
So. Things are changing, things are different, and Eddie has to keep moving. He still has Buck and Tommy in the same capacity he always has. He just has to come to terms with wanting more and not being able to ask for it. Letting yourself want is a slippery slope, because believing you can want and believing you can have are two different things. He’s allowed to want, but he’s not allowed to have. For now, he digs his hands into the soil, deliberate and reaching. In four months, he’ll have winter squashes. Buck will teach him that delicious soup recipe they tried last year. Eddie won’t be stuck in this moment forever.
The backdoor squeaks something awful when Buck slides it open jerkily. Eddie looks up, surprised.
“Hey,” he says, scratching at his nose. “What’re you doing here? Thought you had a lunch date.”
“I did,” Buck nods, flopping himself down on the lawn beside Eddie. “Finished early. I texted you, but I guess your phone’s inside.” He eyes Eddie’s dirt-streaked hands. “Thought I’d come see what you’re up to anyway.”
“Gardening,” Eddie tells him helpfully, and he grins.
“And here I thought you were just playing in the mud.”
Eddie flicks the dirt on his hands at Buck. He just beams up at Eddie, afternoon sun washing him the kind of golden that makes Eddie’s breath catch a little.
“What’re you planting?”
“Squash,” Eddie says, shaking the brightly coloured packet of seeds at him. “How’s Tommy?”
Buck blinks at him. “You saw him, like, two days ago.”
“That’s not what I meant,” Eddie says, sinking his hands into the raked soil for something to do. “Like—how’s dating him going?”
“Oh,” Buck says, brow scrunching for the barest second before he nods. “Good. It’s—I really like him.”
“Good,” Eddie breathes, gut-snake squeezing and squeezing inside him.
They’re quiet for a minute, bird song and breeze winding around them, and then Buck asks, “Do you, uh. Do you talk to Tommy about me, too?”
“What do you mean?” Eddie asks, studying the dirt before him.
“Like. Do you ask Tommy how things are going with dating me?”
Eddie huffs a laugh. “No. No, I don’t. Why?”
Buck shrugs, picking at stalks of grass. “Why not? We’re both your friends.”
“It’s not the same.”
“Isn’t it?” Buck sits up.
Eddie tips some more seeds into his palm before depositing them into the next hole. “No, it’s not. Buck, you—obviously it’s different.”
“But why?” Buck presses. “I know your friendship is, like, foundationed on macho men stereotypes, but c’mon. Neither of you are capable of not, I don’t know, talking about more sensitive stuff, I guess.”
Eddie sighs at the dirt.
“Why is it different?”
“It’s different ’cause it’s you,” Eddie says. He doesn’t need to look at Buck to know he’s slow-blinking in confusion.
“W-why? You don’t think you have to put up some kind of front—with Tommy?”
“Why is this bothering you so much? Do you want me to be talking to Tommy about you?”
He finally looks at Buck, his life-ruiningly pink mouth ajar in surprise.
“N-no. Just—I don’t know.”
He’s wearing the same hang-dog expression he had been when he’d bodied Eddie at the pick-up game, half-surprise, half-misery. Eddie sighs again.
“Are you—are you worrying about something between the two of you? Because I don’t have to be in the middle of it, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tell me. That doesn’t mean I’m not on your side.”
“There’s no sides,” Buck shakes his head. “I wouldn’t make you pick anyway.”
Eddie groans and shoves Buck back down, flat on his back with big muddy handprints on his crisp blue shirt. “I’m always on your side, you idiot. Tommy’s great, but I’ve known the guy… what, two months? You’ve been my—for six years. You’ve been—it’s different.”
“Oh,” Buck grins, bright and broad, “is that why it’s different?”
Eddie ignores him. “Is there something going on, though? Did something happen?”
“No,” Buck shakes his head, sobering a little. “Not really. I really like him, I just—I don’t know if there’s… a future, you know? We’re both having fun, but I-I just don’t know how to have that conversation with him yet. Or… if he’s on the same page and it’s all okay.”
“Oh,” Eddie says. He turns the trowel over in his hands. “How come—what makes you think there’s no future with him?”
“There could be,” Buck amends. “I just—there could be something else.” He glances at Eddie and hurriedly adds, “I think there’s already… I think… you know?”
“No,” Eddie says truthfully. “But you know, which is all that matters.”
Buck exhales softly. “Right. I’m just—I think I know what it’s supposed to look like. And Tommy is fucking—wonderful. I just—he’s not what my ending looks like.”
He looks up, meeting Eddie’s eyes, and there’s something in there just as vulnerable as the night he quietly told Eddie it was a date. Eddie doesn’t know how to translate it, bowled over by the wave of frustration at not being fluent in every one of Buck’s languages.
Except—he might still be, because all that’s there is this—expectation, a weighty, desperate hope for understanding. Like Buck’s waiting. And behind that, the steadiness of the safest place Eddie’s ever known.
“It’s different for me, with you and Tommy,” Eddie begins, “because it’s you. I can—I can listen to you talk about dating other people because—I know that, I’m used to that. But—listening to Tommy talk about what it’s like dating you? When I’m just—too late—”
He doesn’t know if he cuts himself off or if he’s interrupted by Buck’s ragged inhale. Either way, he’s silent, filling up the next little hole with soil.
“Eddie—”
“Sorry, I shouldn’t have—” Eddie mumbles. “I can’t—Buck—”
Buck sits back up and grabs him by his shoulders, turning him so they’re face-to-face. “Eddie.”
“I can’t,” Eddie says again, voice hoarse with emotion. “I’m—I haven’t even begun unpacking it, Buck.”
“Okay,” Buck nods. “Okay. I’m not asking for anything. Just—do you mean it? That’s all I need from you. Tell me if you mean it, Eddie, please—” His chest is heaving like he’s run ten blocks and not just been sprawled on Eddie’s lawn in the afternoon sun.
And the thing is, Buck asks for so little. He thinks he does the opposite, but everyone who’s ever loved Buck knows: Buck asks for so little. And he deserves the entire fucking world. So Eddie can spare one terrifying truth.
“There could be something else,” he echoes Buck’s earlier words. “And it’s—it’s already… it could be a really good fucking ending. I’m… I need some time to… but I think it could the right ending. For us.”
Buck swallows audibly, eyes bright when he ducks his head and nods. “S’much time as you need.”
Something in Eddie relaxes, stops constricting, takes a deep, gulping breath. He blinks quickly to stave off whatever emotion this is, sinking his hands into the last mound of dirt.
“They’ll be ready by September,” he tells Buck, a little thickly.
“September,” Buck nods. “Good month. Summer end. We can make soup.”
Eddie turns to him. “Not too long away?”
“Nah,” Buck says, hand coming up to cup Eddie’s face. Eddie freezes, but Buck’s just using the pad of his thumb to oh-so-gently brush away a smudge of dirt on Eddie’s cheek. He keeps holding Eddie’s face for a moment more before dropping his hand, shifting to examine Eddie’s neatly planted rows of squash seeds. “Besides. They’re, uh. Worth waiting for.”
“I hope so,” Eddie says softly.
Buck nudges his shoulder against Eddie’s, companionable and cross-legged beside each other in the grass. “I know so.”

Can You See Right Through Me?
Conrad Fisher x fem!reader
Summery: You, Belly and Stevens older sister, realize that as everyone grows older, you have become less and less important. Suddenly, everything you’ve never felt comes crashing at you.
The past summer and every single one before that had led me to this moment now. Standing alone in an empty room in the dark while everyone else ventured off to a bonfire.
It was like a switch had went off in my brain, coming down here this summer. Everything I knew becoming wrong. Everything I was so sure of becoming the unknown.
I thought I knew everything, but I knew nothing. I was wrong about everything.
The way Jeremiah’s eyes carried a special sparkle as my sister and brother piled out of the car in front of me. His lips curled into that same pearly white smile and his eyes crinkling in the corners like always. His wrinkles a permanent tattoo of his life and his happiness that he carried with him.
I knew Belly was pretty. She always had been. I’d been the one to express that to her. Being her older sister, even by only a couple years, I could see it far before anyone else could. I could see how gorgeous my little sister was with her long brown hair and her contagious laughter. She would grow into herself, I promised her that and I couldn’t have been happier watching as she found that new confidence in her appearance the older she grew.
Still, the joy I felt for her could not overpower the sting that settled in my chest the moment I realized that Jeremiah’s warm welcome was not directed towards me like all the years before. His eyes drawn to Belly. The newer, prettier Conklin. The youngest, the most at ease with her surroundings. The one who took everything with a grain of salt.
And suddenly it made sense. If I was the stars in his eyes, then Belly was the sun. The bigger, brighter star. How could this boyish ray of sunshine fall for the more mellow sister when he had his perfect reflection right in front of him?
Realizing that was what caused the downward spiral, I think. That was the turning point and suddenly the switch went off.
I wasn’t ugly, I knew that. I once had a few boyfriends back home, all of which took great interest in me, but all of which never stuck. And it was obvious as to why. My head knew it would be good to try something new, but my heart was suffocating in the love I had felt for Jeremiah. I couldn’t love someone else if my heart belonged to another.
Only, Jeremiah’s heart belonged to Belly. It was obvious. The way they laughed. The way they talked. The way they touched. I wanted him to touch me like that. I wanted his arm slung around my shoulders and I wanted his hand resting on my thigh. I wanted him to whisper his secrets into my ears again. I wanted all of it, while Belly treated it like a chore.
Like she was bored by the constant affection and the strong attraction they had for one another. Yet, even with the heaviness in my heart, and the bitterness at the tip of my tongue, I wasn’t the one he was holding down on the beach. And that could never be me. I was the sister standing in my room back at the summer home, a bikini tied around my chest as a top, jean shorts hanging low on my hips while her fingers pulled at the skin on her stomach and pushed against her stomach to make it impossibly flatter.
A routine I’d developed since the beginning of summer. Sleeping in later, staying up longer. Skipping meals by accident and curling up as small as I could while everyone else ate dinner. It was almost as if I didn’t exist. And maybe I didn’t because it seemed like nobody cared.
That was my greatest fear. What started as a minor jealousy and a spiral of undiscovered insecurities morphed into a pool of fear. Not for how I looked, but for who I was. Now that everyone was growing up, now that Conrad and I were going off to college, would anyone still need me? Belly was confident now, she didn’t need my pep talks. My mom had her best friend and Jeremiah had Belly. Nobody needed me. Nobody cared.
Knock, knock.
Or I thought nobody cared.
“Hey, Conklin?” The voice was quiet, afraid to pierce the peacefulness of the silence.
My hands slipped away from my body, my posture straightening and my eyes making friends with the ground.
“Oh, hey. Aren’t you supposed to be at that bonfire with the others?” I didn’t make a point to turn around, staying stuck in place. “I didn’t want to be there.” He confessed.
“Oh.” His eyes caught mine in the mirror. Body leaning against the doorframe and hands playing with his tied hoodie strings.
“Besides, it’s boring without you there, you know? Don’t really enjoy being there without my beer pong partner.” We laughed, my eyes averting his quickly while it died down back to a comfortable silence.
Footsteps treaded across the furnished wood floors, socks padding carefully, closer.
“Hey.” The call was gentle and not in the slightest bit pushy or pressured.
I bit my lip, feeling suddenly naked with Conrad so close. My arms came to wrap around my torso like a blanket to shield my most vulnerable parts of myself.
“Hey, no. Come one y/n. Don’t do that. Don’t hide.” His hands found mine, covering them in his warmth, pulling away at each finger that dug into my skin slowly. Pulling off that divider I’d placed between us.
His head found my shoulder. His chin tucked comfortably on top of my shoulder blade, his arms hugging around my body, loosely, but enough to relay that he was there. He was close.
“What’s going on with you?” I felt his eyes looking at me, even from the floor. I shook my head.
“Nothing.” I lied through my teeth.
“I know you better than that, Y/n. You’re my best friend.” I nodded, feeling the tears piling on my waterline until everything was a watercolor version of itself.
“You avoid everyone but the moms and me. You don’t surf in the mornings anymore. You skip dinner to go be by yourself some more. You’re dropping weight scarcely quick. This isn’t like you. Something’s bugging you. Why can’t you just let me in?” My response wasn’t something I planned. His confession something I wasn’t prepared for. The low gravel of the mumbles. So quiet and normal that it was like he never even said it. But I knew he had because there he was, looking over my shoulder to watch me through the mirror. Admiring each part of what I had to offer like it was gold. How could I have been so blind to how much Conrad cared? How his touches lingered longer than before, how he cared for me like Jeremiah once did.
A sob wracked through my body, lips parting and chest heaving as I crumbled beneath his touch. My hands grasped onto his arms, clawing at him in panic. Trying to hold onto him. He let me hold onto him.
He lowered us slowly to the ground, his breath fanning off of my face and his body giving mine a home as I curled up impossibly close to him. Still it wasn’t enough. I needed to be closer, to not be alone. To not feel like the world was constantly out of reach.
It was beyond Jeremiah and Belly. It always had been. It had only been my wake up call to how quickly things were moving and how soon I would be unimportant. How soon I would be alone.
Conrad didn’t try to shush me, or talk to me. It was like a silent conversation, confirming all his suspicions. He always knew me better than myself. He always knew there was something wrong deep down. He always saw right through me.
I saw right through me.
It was hard to tell when the tears stopped and turned into dried out cries muffled into the collar of his shirt. Who knows how long ago I became dehydrated. But Conrad stayed put, sitting with me silently until my last cry came out in a soft sniffle.
Lifting my head, I looked to him, a mess. And I saw he was crying too. His eyes were just as wet as mine and his cheeks streaked with past tears. His lip didn’t quiver like mine, but Conrad was always better at holding it together.
So, he didn’t sob like me. No, instead of breaking down like I had when our eyes met, he pulled me in. And he didn’t let me go no matter how hard I squirmed. It was like he breathed me in. And suddenly, in the moment of silence, I heard a whisper against my hair. Only a short sentence, but one that meant everything. One that made me feel less alone as I realized Conrad felt the same way.
“Help me hold onto you.” He begged.
And suddenly, everything I was insecure of, everything that I had let slip, seemed unimportant compared to the boy on his knees for me.

Hey so can I have a scenario where Knuckles or Shadow have a crush and this crush has a crush on him. His crush is mellow and cozy to be around. And The hyper Amy rose is their best friend. Amy’s being this crushes self appointed wingwoman and is too overly enthusiastic about it? How do knuckles or shadow deal with this? Do they notice or are they naive and think their friend Amy is just being weird?
Knuckles/Shadow x reader
Sonic may be known for being fast, but NO ONE is as fast as Amy's love detecter, as soon as either of you show the SLIGHTEST bit of attraction to each other she's going all out.
Amy will try to give you her advice (running up and smothering him) but you politely decline on that.
Knuckles:
Knuckles is usually calm, staying and keeping watch over the master emerald, so he doesn't mind your presence, he's actually catching himself starting to like it.
You, on the other hand, feel the same. Knuckles is strong, determined, and sweet in his own way. However, rather than directly confessing, you’ve been waiting for the right moment to let him know how you feel.
Of course, Amy has her own plans for the two of you.
As your best friend, she's taken it upon herself to play matchmaker. Every time you're with Knuckles, Amy's there too, loudly hinting that you two would make "the cutest couple." She's way too enthusiastic, constantly trying to shove you two into situations where you’re alone together.
Knuckles, being as blunt as he is, has no idea what Amy’s up to. He thinks she's just being well, Amy. He doesn't pick up on her behavior really and only gets flustered when Amy says something like, "Don’t you think you two would look great on a romantic picnic? Oh wait! I’ve got one packed, let’s go now!" He turns beet red at Amy's suggestions but assumes it’s just her usual meddling.
Meanwhile, you’re there, both embarrassed and secretly hoping Knuckles will take the hint.
Knuckles, still in the dark about what’s really going on, gets a little annoyed with Amy’s interruptions. He just wants to talk to you without all the added pressure, but Amy’s relentless enthusiasm is hard to escape.
Eventually, Knuckles might pull you aside, away from Amy, his face flushed. "What’s with Amy today? She’s acting...weirder than usual."
You laugh softly and give him a smile, trying to keep the situation light. "I think she’s trying to tell you something, Knuckles."
He furrows his brow, confused. "Tell me something? About what?"
You take a deep breath, your heart racing a bit. "Maybe...that I like you. You know, more than just as a friend."
Knuckles freezes, blinking at you in surprise before the realization sinks in. His face goes red, and he rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. "Y-you like me? I-I mean, I like you too... I just didn't realize... Amy was trying to... Oh."
Shadow:
Shadow’s feelings for you are subtle, even to him. He’s not the type to be overly emotional, and he’s certainly not one to act on feelings as soon as they arise. But you, he feels calmed, your whole vibe and just personality is soothing to him. Whenever you're around, it’s easier for him to relax, even though he doesn’t show it much.
You, in turn, like Shadows mellow attitude, he's pretty calm most of the time, and is a nice refresher from things.
Enter Amy Rose, your overly enthusiastic best friend. She knows exactly how you feel and has decided to play the role of wingwoman. Shadow, however, isn’t the easiest person to deal with, especially when it comes to emotions, and Amy’s hyper attitude isn’t making things any easier.
Every time you and Shadow are together, Amy shows up with endless suggestions to push you closer.
“Oh, look! You and Shadow should totally have a quiet movie night together. I’ll even bring the snacks!”
she says, bouncing around. She throws out ideas for ‘romantic’ situations nonstop, much to Shadow’s confusion.
Unlike Knuckles, Shadow isn’t completely naive. He picks up on Amy’s strange behavior, but he doesn’t connect the dots.
He thinks Amy is being her usual meddling self, and he isn’t interested in playing along. Still, there’s a part of him that wonders why she’s pushing so hard for you two to spend time together.
Shadow is very blunt, he's not shy to confront Amy on her attitude. “What exactly are you trying to do Amy?” he asks, crossing his arms and glaring at her.
Amy, grinning wildly, “Just helping a friend out! Don’t you think you and them would be perfect together?” She wiggles her eyebrows dramatically.
Shadow blinks, taken aback by her bluntness. He turns to you, noticing how you seem a bit nervous. “Is this true? You like me?”
“Yeah, I do. But... I wasn’t exactly planning on telling you this way.”
After a long pause, he steps closer to you, his expression softening just a bit. “You should’ve told me. I don’t mind... spending more time with you. Without her interference.” He shoots Amy a quick, annoyed glance, but it’s clear he’s more focused on you now.
Amy’s excited squeal echoes in the background as she dashes off, leaving the two of you alone.
A/n: in short, Amy might not be doing the best but she's trying

Fink definitely had to be the one to handle nightmares with Brightbill. Telling the duckling stories, and even having to make up a song or two to calm the little thing down. And due to Roz always having to shut off during the night to conserve power, she wouldn’t be much help…. Fink definitely had to let Brightbill sleep on his bed a couple times.
He wasn’t fond of the arrangement of him having to help parent Brightbill. Originally it was simply to get things from Roz due to her naïveness. But he did eventually warm up to the idea, since it’s obvious he didn’t get to experience actual family or parental love. He definitely subconsciously tried to parent Brightbill in ways he wish he had growing up.
Protective. You saw how he tried to attack the other geese when they were bullying Brightbill. He was ready to feast.
He’s the type to act like it’s a huge deal or a big favor when he does something for someone. He wants compliments and praise. I can definitely see him getting flustered the first time Roz complimented him genuinely for whatever reason. He was not prepared for the “you are very smart” comment. Bro malfunctioned.
Fink: what is this?
Baby Brightbill wanting a hug: affection.
Fink: disgusting!….. do it again.
Cried when Roz had to leave. He was sad to see his first real friend leave so suddenly (wasn’t really sudden, but he felt like it was) I can definitely see him not wanting to leave the home she built for Brightbill, herself and of course Fink. He didn’t allow anyone to mess with the pictures.
I don’t know why… but this dude definitely got a fear of woodpeckers. I don’t know why I see that, but I do for some reason. Maybe he was attacked as a pup?… mini fic idea?
Back to the platonic relationships 🤣
Always gets excited whenever Brightbill comes back after winter. Is so happy to see his son. The other geese got used to him bolting to Brightbill.
Has in fact threatened to eat a few other animals that insulted Brightbill when he was still a duckling. He didn’t wanna admit it (he can now but at the time, heck no) but he had gotten attached to the duckling and got over protective. He mellowed out when Brightbill got older though. The over protectiveness just passed to Roz.
Has definitely had to babysit for Pink tail a couple times. He likes the kids now but he did almost eat stinky once or twice.
Once had to attack another fox when it tried to attack Brightbill. Got a scar from it too. Roz managed to fix him up, but it took a bit for Fink and Roz to get a crying Brightbill to calm down.
Always has a pinecone on hand (on paw?) to throw at the squirrels. Only he is allowed to laugh at Brightbill face planting when he fails a lift off.
Got excited when Roz returned. Was nervous she wouldn’t remember him, but he’d rather have to reintroduce himself than not be her friend again.
I feel like Fink didn’t have siblings, and if he did they passed away. So I feel like when Brightbill was little and wanted to play, he’d always agree (although he’d act like it’s a huge hassle. In reality he was happy to finally experience playing.)
It’s obvious that Fink didn’t have a relationship (at least not a good one) with his mother. So when Roz started to doubt herself, I can definitely see him telling her -in his own way- that she is a way better mother than she thinks. Pink tail also had to join in on it since Fink has a pretty rude way of giving pep talks.
Pink tail and him definitely gossip about the kids.
Pink tail: so you’re telling me Brightbill tried to eat a caterpillar?
Fink: not tried, did. He had an upset stomach for days! The kid got so clingy I could even be in my den away from him!
Pink tail: yeah my last litter did that… Jeremy didn’t even last spring.
Fink knows about all of the ways Pink tail other kids from past litters died. Was very concerned on how unbothered she was. (Lowkey gets it though)
Final headcannons! Rapid fire!
Definitely has given Brightbill something that tasted gross (like how parents give their baby lemon to see their reaction)
He’s probably taken one of Brightbill’s baby photos to put in his den for the winter.
Attacked the fish that attacked Brightbill. Bro wanted revenge.
Hates lemon grass. He just doesn’t like it.
He hates squirrels and they hate him.

X-Files OctoberFicFest Day 10: Aurora Borealis
They climb out the window to sit on the roof like teenagers, Scully in the vee of Mulder’s legs with his arms around her. She leans back against his chest. The actual young people are in the back pasture, having a bonfire. Mulder and Jack spent the afternoon watering a wide circle around the fire pit, just in case. Neither of them are under any illusions that the younguns will be on their best behavior. Jack’s a bit of a wild child, for starters, and he’s their child, so he’s too smart for his own good. But they’re both proud of how far he’s come.
Grace is with her Uncle Charlie and her cousins at Maggie’s house. It seemed like the best solution; Jack and his friends are rowdy, and Grace never goes to bed when her brother’s out of the house. She wants to be with him all the time. He tolerates it pretty well, but still, bonfire night isn’t for littles.
“Like old times,” Mulder says in her ear.
“Mm,” she says. “Playing hooky, just the two of us.”
“Better, though,” he says. “Look at what we get to come home to.”
She rubs her hand up and down his thigh. It’s still firm under his jeans. “Too happily ever after for you?”
“Au contraire, mama bear,” he growls softly. “It’s just right.”
She smiles to herself and lets her head loll on his shoulder.
“Do you think it’s going to happen?” he asks.
“If it doesn’t, it’s still nice up here.”
He kisses the side of her head. “It is.”
They sit and wait, watching the sky. It is like old times, in some ways. They used to stargaze like this. She remembers the dancing lights in Idaho. She still can’t explain them, although she has some hypotheses. She flinches sometimes if she sees a satellite—she’s seen Mulder do it too—but tonight she feels entirely safe and utterly content.
“Look.” His voice is hushed. “Oh, Scully, look.”
In the dark sky, a sudden sifting of color: red, purple, pink, green. Sheets of shimmering pigment ripple against the velvet backdrop of the night. It’s gorgeous. It’s unreal. Tears rise in her eyes. She can hear whooping from the back pasture as Jackson and his friends catch sight of the lights.
“I never imagined it would look like this,” Mulder says, awed.
“The radiation from the solar wind excites particles in the plasma of the magnetosphere,” she says. "Those particles precipitate into our atmosphere. Borealis pertains to the wind, but it's really more of a rain, in a way."
“It’s magic,” Mulder says.
“I didn’t say it wasn’t.” She cuddles against him. “When you think about it, the odds are astronomical, Mulder. Here we are, on the roof of our house, after decades of a life where that wasn't even a possibility, on a planet that’s just the right distance from the sun to enjoy the benefits of the radiation, and we evolved such that these lights, this phenomenon, occurs in the visible spectrum of wavelengths that our eyes can see. And we have specialized cells in our eyes that allow us to perceive these specific wavelengths as colors, and a brain that can fill in the shades between.” She tilted her face to kiss the broad sweep of his jaw. “I can call that magic, or even a miracle.”
“I think all of this is a miracle,” he murmurs, wrapping her up in his arms.
She’ll kiss him later, when the lights fade, the two of them mellow with the poignant contentment of middle-age. They’ve earned their peace. For now, they watch the aurora dance, and the stars hold no malice.
