In Which Moose Toys Made a Dislestia Child and I Am Amused
This isn't really a review proper, but this Magic Mixies set was brought to my attention by @sparklyaxolotlstudent after they pointed out that the "pegacorn" of this set looked like a MLP Discord fankid lmao.
So needless to say I became interested.
After just getting into MLP this year, and especially being a fan of the draconequus character Discord, I thought the idea of another toy company taking a stab at a the idea of horse/dragon creature was funny.
Granted, MLP didn't invent the horse-dragon. Qilins and longmas long predate our colorful horse friends. So it's not necessarily borrowing from MLP, but come on. When was the last time you saw one in a little girl's toy line?
The set comes with all this stuff to do the magic potion thingy. Call me lacking in whimsy, but I didn't wanna do all this shit. I just wanted the toys.
It also comes with some info about our new friends.
Moose Toys call this creature a pegacorn. Now "pegacorn" is sometimes used to describe a unicorn/pegasus. It's what MLP calls an alicorn, but there's no way this creature isn't also part eastern dragon too. It has scales. And Claws.
Let's back up a bit tho, and look at the dolls fully.
I really like the Pixlings dolls. This is actually my third one now. They're what Enchantimals could've been if they were good. I wish their shirts weren't molded on, but it's not a deal breaker if only because they're so nicely painted.
The only reason I haven't acquired more is that they have a LOT of leftover trash. The potion bottles these come in can't really be used for much else, and they're not worth donating either. So that's a LOT of plastic going to waste. Wish I could just buy the dolls without all that mess tbh.
Still a cutie of a doll.
I also appreciate they gave the pegacorn articulation! It's so rare anymore to see animal friends in doll lines that don't feel like cheap afterthoughts.
Now to address why this set, the pegacorn especially, makes me think MLP. -deep inhale-
Rainbow Star looks like a Celestia/Discord fankid.
Look at this child and her divorced parents. Tell me she doesn't look like the designer at Moose Toys ships these two.
Even the name "Rainbow Star" fits.
Hell, if her dad were Discord is would explain the nonsensical butt wings. Nonsense is kind of a given for a child of chaos. Plus Discord in the show flies with magic, and his wings are useless when he's de-powered. So placement wouldn't matter if she's using magic to fly as well.
Now I don't personally go for this ship, but it's still pretty funny. Either this was on purpose or one hell of a coincidence.
Putting MLP aside tho, I do like these little guys.
Unia could use a little bit of a restyle...
Wait a minute, if you imagine the blue replaced with purple, doesn't Unia look a little like human Princess Cadence?
Okay that's enough for today. Bye.

My mane six designs!! (NOT AFFILIATED WITH MY INFECTION AU!!)
Twilight Sparkle- Mostly the same, except her wings are made of the material Celestia and Luna’s manes are, a night sky. She trails black starry tendrils wherever she goes.
Pinkie Pie - After absorbing Discord’s chaos magic as a filly, she grew a lizard and panther paw and can perform impressive spells for the sound of power she absorbed, like teleportation, being able to take apart and put herself back together, and weirdly, shapeshifting. So smaller scale Discord magic!
Fluttershy - She is now a “tamed” in bat pony, but needs her fruit every so often (Applejack helps with that!). She is more insecure because of this, and many ponies are unsure of her as well. However, her friends try to show the public that she is amazing, and have them love her as much as they do! However, Flutter messes up sometimes…
Rainbow Dash - Half-dragon, half-pegisi, this gal is always ready for a challenge! She is one of the strongest and fastest fliers, and will probably grow bigger than Applejack someday due to her lineage. She can’t breathe fire, but her sonic rainbooms are already enough!
Applejack - She’s the most hard working of the group, and has many scars to show for it. She’s the largest in the group so far, although Rainbow might pass her in a few years.
Rarity: Before Twilight got her alicorn powers and enhancements, Rarity was a strongest unicorn magically in the group. The longer a unicorn’s horn, the more powerful they are! Rarity has a close friendship with both Spike and Applejack.
Spike: A young dragon who’s growing up fast! Unfortunately, there isn’t a dragon around to teach him molting patterns and growing up things, but Rainbow Dash always tries her best to help him out based on what her dragon father told her.
I’m making more of them! Don’t worry! Also I’m trying my best to finish up the infection AU, I don’t want it going on for too long before I get burnt out. Blog is still in the makings!

Best princess has arrived! All hail the empress of the night!
Genuinely I had so much fun with Luna. I really wanted to keep the slay of Nightmare Moon to show the scars such a tragedy left.
Also here's Luna before Nightmare Moon, and the lore I made:
(not happy with the anatomy but oh well)
Luna always struggled with not getting recognized for her efforts. She fought against nightmares in the dream world all alone for centuries. Rarely would ponies remember her visiting or helping.
Her sister Celestia was praised and loved. While Luna was often overshadowed.
She put a lot of pressure on herself, insisting she would be fine. She would protect Equestria during night like Celestia did during day.
Luna kept nightmare creatures from escaping the dream realm. But when she failed to destroy one, Celestia would deal with it. Followed by scolding from Starswirl, their mentor.
The Nightmare creatures feed on negativity, fear, and doubts. All of which Luna was filled with. But although they tried to cause her further distress, she didn't yield. Only destroying more of them.
But with every vanquished nightmare, some of their darkness would cling to Luna, corruption from nightmare energy accumulating. But it wasn't her downfall. Rather, something else was being fed within her.
A nightmare made from Luna's self doubts, hatred and sorrow. A being that fed of the corruption left behind by the many nightmares slain. A being just as powerful if not more than Luna. One that grew stronger, and stronger. A being that will be known as Nightmare Moon.
Luna had always harbored jealousy for Celestia, and anger towards the ponies of Equestria. But Nightmare Moon wanted to act upon it. Likewise did the nightmares stuck in the dream realm. They recognized Nightmare Moon within Luna, as not just one of them, but a being that could bring them the power needed to take over the waking world. They need only wait for the perfect moment to strike.
Luna kept to herself her struggles, and when she did reach out, nobody understood. Eventually she started to listen to the voice in her head. She grew more angrier, tired, jealous.
One day, she gave in, too tired to keep fighting. Letting Nightmare Moon take over. Quickly she regretted it however...
What followed was a battle between the sisters, and Nightmare Moon being sealed away to the Moon. Luna alongside her.
But even when stuck in the moon, did Luna try to travel dreams. Likewise did Nightmare Moon do the same.
She fought valiantly against the nightmares even when in exile. She sent dreams to warn her sister, tried talking with her. But... None were received. The Nightmares made sure of that.
So Luna had to play dirty sometimes, sending nightmares warning of threats she saw from the moon. But not always were they remembered. Even more rarely did Nightmare Moon let her.
For a millenia she tried to at least alleviate the pain caused by her mistakes. And for millenia none would notice.
Until a certain Twilight Sparkle, student of Celestia, received vague visions of a grim future. Followed by her beginning research on "The Mare in the Moon" in her dreams. Luna finally, had found someone who didn't forget her warnings.
Twilight told Celestia of her worries, and Celestia sent her on a journey to Ponyville. There which similar events to the show's pilot episodes would take place.
-
Anyways yeah that's my rewrite of the Nightmare Moon. Yes it's sadder and darker but it's my rewrite I do what I want.
I took heavy inspiration from the "Nightmare Rarity" comic about how Nightmare creatures exist etc, and how Nightmare Moon happened. Even if not canon I still adore the concepts-
I also wanted to add to why Celestia believed in Twilight's potential so much. Not just because of her magic, but because she actually heard Luna's pleas and warnings. Something even Celestia struggled with. Which was the catalyst to her realizing that, yes, Twilight is gonna make a great Alicorn one day! (Then Gen5 happened and fucked the lore up)

hi folks i wanted to share my ponysona that my BSBFF* @helloitsmesatin made for me :) (these ones i drawed though, not her)
gander at Burgravine Cherryhop Rosenhuf von Kirschhof!!!!!!
her mane is, like, SUPER long, so she has it up in a bun held by a little bat clip. also, she has vitiligo (woah just like me!!!! it's almost like she's my ponysona or something). her cutie mark represents her creative nature and artisanship :) also cherries!!! her cutie mark isn't actually super visible given the vitiligo and all, but it looked like this when she got it, she swears. i couldn't decide between the button + baby pin, or sewing thread + pin cushion so have both.
* Big Sister Best Friend Forever
LORE DUMP UNDERNEATH!!! (i'm a worldbuilder in my spare time, creating lots of lore is what i do best :)
she's a batpony unicorn who lives with her sister Morning Dew on the edge of Ponyville (they are not related, she just found her out in the street like that video of the guy and the stray cat). she comes from a (semi-)noble family but left home some years ago because her family's isolationism made life dull and difficult; being the only mare unicorn in the family and thus the target of their ire probably didn't help lol.
artist's rendition of las hermanas del leche - drawed by Dew, it hangs on Cherryhop's fridge next to a macaroni art self-portrait (also made by Dew).
since leaving Kirschhof, Cherryhop works as a jack-of-all-trades artisan and gets by selling various trinkets and offering whatever the pony equivalent of IT services are. no foalsitting, though. she kind of hates kids. not in a weird way, kids just make her anxious. too much responsibility for this mare. they love her for her trinkets, though.
random facts about Cherryhop that have absolutely no source whatsoever (i made them up):
sometimes ponies call her Hop. somepony called her Chop once, though.
she is kinda good at buckball; she prefers drawing.
her "father" is an ominous swirling orb that hums and lives in the rafters of her garage. it might not be sentient, but she talks to it like it is. nopony else does, they're all kind of scared of it.
her magic didn't used to look so desaturated, but the vitiligo on her horn kinda affected that. darn.
she has a second roommate: a crystal pony from whom she chisels crystal chunks for rent monthly. this pony lives in the shed in her backyard, and she doesn't actually know her name. i don't know if this is how crystal ponies work, but Hop already spent 27 bits on the hammer and chisel, so i have to leave it like this.
her mother is Margravine Lilacia Summersprout von Kirschhof. she is based on my mom. minus the rudeness. keep the sass though. Hop had to get it from somewhere. the freckles were unfortunately not inherited.
she calls Morning Dew a "driplet-head" when she gets mad.
she makes music sometimes. kinda why her cutie mark is shaped like musical notes. i'm so creative.
she is a big fan of Trixie Lulamoon and tries to attend as many of her shows as she can afford (she usually just sneaks in anyhow). once, Hop got to meet the great and powerful Trixie after one and showed her how to count cards. Trixie, a respectable member of society with no prior record of criminal activity, appreciated learning how to scam casinos of bits.
despite popular belief, Hop is NOT an alicorn. when she first moved to Ponyville, a series of events led to Princess Twilight Sparkle breaking and entering into Hop's cottage to investigate the rumours of the "new alicorn". for unrelated reasons, Hop is no longer a fan of Princess Twilight Sparkle.
she enjoys sandwiches :)
the existence of Cherryhop confuses Yona.

Sometimes autism special interest is awesome, other times it’s wanting to sob over the elaborate ass mlp AU despite being a whole adult
What do you meannnnnnnn I still have to deal with the special interest from when I was 6. It’s been 13 years, let me go. You’re supposed to be dead mlp fixation
Anyways AU from before the time of the 2 sisters, I call it “equestria unbowed”
when it canonically took 6 unicorns to raise the sun/moon but like. The magic is too strong for a regular pony to handle so it kills them (they go #insane with prophetic visions and then. Burn)
Little doodle I made of the curse. Goes from left to top right and then bottom right, this pony doesn’t have a name it was just like, an example piece I did lol
they have to find/make alicorns or they’ll all die. But talking about/the idea of alicorns is illegal because the ruler (probably princess platinum to bring in that canon factor, but maybe also the leaders of the other pony tribes) are only just getting used to living together and the whole friendship thing is harder to get down than you’d think so there’s still a lot of pony hierarchy stuff going on.
Also there’s a side plot where they have to make peace with the changelings to stop a war.
This is tangerine spice, she’s the protagonist of the whole thing. She discovered she had a magic talent (specifically she made a “fake sun” so her tangerine trees could grow proper even without the right light conditions) but this talent also makes her able to do the sun raising spell so she gets sent to magic school and eventually becomes one of the ponies who raises the sun (there’s 6 total did I mention that??? They kinda stand in for the elements but I haven’t gone into that in detail yet lol)
Anyways she watches one of the other sun raising ponies succumb to the madness so she’s like “ok guess I’ll develop a Frankenstein esque obsession with creating an alicorn to save us all now”
Ah also enjoy this more scenic piece of tangerine doing a spell I guess lol
I have a playlist for this whole thing which is set up like a musical retelling for the plot so far. It’s not done yet though so you don’t get that. Questions about mlp AU welcome but most people are here for the magnus stuff so LHSSJSKSL.
I am. Thoroughly insane, excuse me please
In fact here’s more

a little collection of some silly mlp au fun facts because i want to :)
• Olive is a Wonderbolts fan despite not being a pegasus and would fangirl so hard if she got to meet them. basically exactly the same way she is with the Bears and all that
• the au is set in g4 so that g5 earth pony plant magic or whatever doesn't exist, however because Olympia is extra silly and magical she will sometimes cause plants and flowers to pop up if she gets really excited or something. like a lot of her other magic stuff she can't do it on command, and when she is doing it she usually doesn't even realize it
• Otis doesn't fly much but when he does he has a bad habit of flying straight into windows like a bird. for the record pegasi are actually capable of seeing glass, Otis is just like that. he also walks into glass doors and stuff a lot (this is also a headcanon that i apply to him outside of this au because it's really funny to me)
• Oona has the earth pony plant affinity thing which is why she likes to garden on her days off
• on top of also being able to fly, Otto is still taller than Olive here. she is cursed to be short in every timeline unfortunately (/silly)
• Mr NoiseJam is real here as well. Noisemaker is an earth pony and is basically the same but he also has whatever that instrument Pinkie had in Swarm of the Century was, Mr. Lightning is a pegasus and the former weather pony of the town (he got fired for making storms and causing townsponies to get struck by lightning for funsies) he still has lightning powers btw he's just really static all the time, and Jamie Jam is a unicorn she just knows a lot of jam summoning and otherwise jam related spells and uses them for evil
• idk if i've mentioned this before but Todd is an earth pony by the way! he has no extra abilities or anything but he still manages to be a problem for everyone and i think that's kind of funny of him tbh
• mlp Ohlm is on his Cozy Glow arc. do with that information what you will
• Olympia can use magic to glow in the dark sometimes if she tries really hard. also if she ever became an alicorn she'd be the sparkliest being in all of Equestria probably, princess of glitter if you will

Keeper Summer Week #10
Second Deleted Scene from Lodestar
This scene used to be part of the sequence set at Dex's house, but it felt like it was slowing the story's momentum too much, and nothing all that significant was happening or being revealed. So once again, I had to chop something I liked to keep the pacing tighter.
—Shannon
“Wow, just noticed the sky," Biana whispered as they all stared through the glass dome at the swirling streaks of green and pink.
"Is that the aurora borealis?" Sophie asked. "Or another one of your holograms, Dex?"
"That's the real deal," he said. "I actually tried adding a northern-lights setting to my gadget, but everything looked fake."
"I'm sure it was better than you thought," Biana told him. "Though this really is beautiful. I know it's probably a huge betrayal to the Vacker name to admit this, but I think this is prettier than the Celestial Festival."
Fitz and Biana's very distant relative—Orem Vacker—was a Flasher, and he was famous for creating a light spectacle whenever there was a total eclipse.
"This is calmer," Fitz said. "Plus, it's kinda cool knowing there's no one controlling it. It's just…nature. Feels like a good thing to remember, you know? As powerful as we are, as many crazy things as we can do, there's so much that's way bigger than us."
Biana laughed. "Look who's getting all deep and philosophical while cuddling with his sparkly red dragon."
"Hey, don't knock it till you try it," Fitz told her, hugging Mr. Snuggles tighter. "Besides, I think it's useful to remember that we're not as important as we sometimes think we are. It's…Never mind, I don't know how to explain it."
"I do," Sophie jumped in. "It's good to remember that we're not the epitome of everything, because it puts it all in perspective. Especially with how huge our problems feel sometimes."
"Exactly," Fitz said. "Maybe the whole world isn't resting on our shoulders. Only a part of it is. Sometimes I think we forget that. Like with the alicorns. All that stress and hassle we went through trying to shelter them in the Sanctuary, when the better idea was to let Silveny and Greyfell take care of themselves."
"So ... what? We just let the Neverseen do whatever they want?" Dex asked.
"Of course not," Fitz said. "But sometimes I wonder if the Council's problem is that they keep trying to control everything. Their attention gets so divided that they miss a bunch of huge stuff."
"Like when they focused on finding the Black Swan instead of going after the Neverseen," Sophie suggested.
"Or all the focus on abilities, and forgetting to train us in our skills," Fitz added.
Biana snickered. "Look—now they're basically finishing each other's sentences. They really are Fitzphie, aren't they?" she asked Dex.
"It's Sophitz," Fitz corrected. "And hey, you guys are starting to turn into…Actually, what would we call you? Bianex? Dexiana?"
"How about Vackizznee?" Biana suggested. "Or Dizzker?"
"Dizzker?" Sophie repeated.
"It could work," Biana insisted.

what if my g5 headcanons that will ultimately influence the story progression in my "rewrite" of mym?
under cut ofc because bitch we really get into it!!! (aka, long post)
i am one autistic bitch who feels let down my g5 in some aspects but mostly in a sense that it's just... missing some things!
disclaimer? i realy like g5. i come back to watch mym and tyt and the movie because it brings me joy and i like seeing the characters do things!
HOWEVER i personally feel like the story and writing is a bit... lack luster? im not sure if its because we're just missing so much information that's going to be explained later, or if the writers just... are struggling to piece together this lowkey mess of a situation our favs are in!
i just want to make sense of it all, and im a storyteller not a theorist so im not doing that theory stuff :) im just going to spew headcanons and be happy abt what i think could be implied by the writers that we dont actually get expansion on
[4/28/2024 edit] i drafted this way back in december '23 or jan '24 so some of these might seem "duh ofc! Thats canon!" but yeah, i just had it in the drafts for a loonngg time
now another disclaimer uhm,... when i "rewrite" mym im... not exactly going to remove key details? i think my intent is to include some things into each chapter that will make it a bit more digestible to all demographics? i like the sillies, i like the serious, and mym hits some really strong points that i think were executed perfectly! there are some things that are just spot on!
but again i just think mym is missing some elements and my headcanons are a result of that (obv bc thats what a headcanon is omg).
only big different in my rewrite will be opaline because her character is just... i dont know but i dont enjoy her. and i love villains. i am a villain enjoyer, and as many others have pointed out, she just randmly decides to be evil for the sake of being evil which sometimes i get it but before then it seemed like more than that? so im going to stick to "its more than that" and she has an actual solid goal in mind :)
this is more of an autistic revelation turned writing exercise so YAY let's see how this goes!
HEADCANON TIME!
i love sunny!! since the movie she's been such a cutie and one of my favorites! in tyt and mym however, they have a habit of watering down her character to "naive protag who has flimsy and unbased morals" and that doesnt really sit right with me? sooooo headcanons for sunny? (and some others but mainly ones that focus on sunny)
Sunny likes history as a way to connect with her dad, and she collects things she thinks he might have liked, and continues his research partially because of her own ideals of friendship and spreading it, but also because part of her thinks she has to carry on his legacy
Sunny and Zipp have a "likeminded, different methods" leader rivalry
Sunny and Pipp love to spa day together! They're also late risers, and love healthy meals and afternoon strolls
Sunny lets Pipp style her mane and tail ALL the time for inspiration because she likes the pampering a little and bc she wants to help Pipp
Sunny does her best to assist her friends with their jobs from time to time. Mostly because of her admiration of Twilight and her idea of friendship meaning spending time doing things your friends love to do
Sunny invites them to help her make new smoothie ideas too
Sometimes Sunny spends time in the observatory, reminiscing her memories with her father. Typically on anniversaries and holidays. It's her form of quiet time
Sunny doesn't actually like help when she's cooking, not unless shes genuinely biting off more than she can chew. She'd rather her friends share the space with her while she cooks, and maybe grab an item or two for her when her hooves are full
Sunny considered looking to study magic after getting her alicorn powers, (zipp definitely encouraged it) but Sunny decided against it because 'she doesn't need magic if she has her friends'
Sunny isn't actually good at helping her friends emotionally. Her love language is acts of service, so kind words are all she can really offer.
Canonically (comics), Sunny likes to read! I like to think she has her own book nook and really likes books that are about overcoming odds and happy endings
(Based on the movie) Sunny's most noticable character flaw is believing every choice she makes is justified. A “ends justifies the means” type of character. She grows out of this when she learns she can rely on others to find a solution.
When given no option to explore, Sunny is a theorist more than a researcher
She was NOT immune to propaganda (but she knows what she truly believes in)
Sunny acts without forethought, and when there’s a kink in her quick plan, she forces herself to stop and reevaluate. All the same, she's sensitive to failure.
She is also quite intuitive, with her theories (even though help crafted by her dad) tend to be correct in one way or another!
Sunny was reluctant to rebuild the lighthouse because part of her felt like, starting over meant forgetting her father (as it tends to go, with grief of a parent.) [Her friends help her come around and work with her to give her father's stuff a safe space in the brighthouse]
oh man that's a lot! NEXT!! (any hc i have following posting this will be reblogged to here!!)
I care so much about Zipp and the ways she can grow as a character. She was deep from the beginning but we never really got into more of her rather than her detective side. which i appreciate of course, but you know :)
Zipp is a natural leader (which in my rewrite i want to subtly emphasize this difference with Sunny learning to be a leader)
[Sunny and Zipp eventually would learn to work as a team, rather than one person having a more important say]
Zipp would be the one to teach Sunny what it means to lead, mostly indirectly, but sometimes directly
She leans away from leadership entirely and it causes a disconnect between her and her mother :(
She's drawn to puzzles and mysteries (especially in fiction) but prefers them in really fantastical settings
Zipp loves history, and views it as clues to her research about many things. If it's unrelated to current problem or doesn't have one on hand, she's not likely to read any history books
Zipp loves for Hitch to play detective with her. They snoop out clues together, and he helps her loosen up to solve the mystery faster as well as be more open minded
Zipp is wary of new ponies, and isn't quick to welcome anypony she doesn't know already or anypony not already dedicated to a cause (evidence: misty)
Zipp thinks Sunny studying magic and becoming more powerful would just be awesome to see
Zipp has a "problem" of being right all the time (sagittarius things)
After she gets ignored enough times about something she knows is true, she kind of just stops contributing to any conversation unless she has everypony's attention or if they're all out of ideas
She isn't a big fan of change? She prefers not to do new things all the time
But she LOVES a challenge!
Zipp is uncomfortable with being royalty in general. I assume she’d detach from the whole royalty thing entirely, and agree with Sunny’s ideals of democracy and equality to the point of stepping down as heir. Or she grows into her role, and becomes more and more queenlike each passing day
Zipp seems like the type to always be thinking, even during conversation. She isolates when things get too rough for her, and she's very quick to come up with schemes
Zipp is not good at lying. She avoids responses or tells half truths
She's an adrenaline chaser
Zipp starts out especially sarcastic toward Hitch because he's a sheriff and she thinks that's silly. Also because they have different ideas of leadership when they first meet.
Zipp (as well as Izzy and Sunny) love adventure!
i was so iffy on izzy when they introduced her in the show... i feel like she went from being an actual character with thoughts, to... watered down pinkie pie which is not enjoyable lol but anyways i like her actual moments of personality (not implying her lol XD random!! moments ARENT personality, but there are time where she's actually pushing it to the point of it being genuinely irritating with no comedic payoff :/
I BELIEVE IZZY HAS A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY!! it just makes sense!! [she remembers in complete detail, or doesnt remember at all until way later]
Izzy would rather lighten the mood than make serious decisions :) She doesn't avoid action, but she does avoid sole leadership
to me, she's Brave and Direct and will step in if nopony else will. the type of character who isn't the hero, but will get the job done
Izzy in my mind is prone to going off on her own and not running ideas by ponies before acting which :) has its issues but comes in handy!
Along with Pipp and Hitch, Izzy LOVES nature! She teaches them both about Bridlewood's flora and fauna :) eventually they start having plants in the brighthouse and wanna explore all flora and fauna in the 3 locations
Izzy likes plants and is curious to what types of plants there are outside of bridlewood
Izzy learns some kind of multitasking spell, where she can create many things at once if she is making things in bulk :D
she does feel out of place in the friend group (canon to canterlot comic) and has a hard time making friends with the unicorns in other places :( [this is up until Misty, who makes her feel better]
Izzy sees Misty as a best friend :) But also takes on a silly older sister role with her!
She helps Misty grow into herself, and feel more secure with her past bebcause Izzy passes on her "damaged doesn't mean useless" ideals she usually saves for her unicycling
Izzy inspires Misty to use creation to get out her feelings, like making tea or exploring with crafts, just to find peace. She also helps Misty get out of her comfort zone in smaller ways, helping her try new things
When Izzy went looking for Maretime bay, Bridlewood just thought she went missing
Izzy wants close unicorn friends :( someone to genuinely bond with [see: Misty]
Izzy’s creativity comes from being really resourceful, BUT as a unicorn that lives in trees i’d imagine she’d have more respect for the trees of any kind LMAOO
she’s always got a solution to a problem even if unconventional or… surprising... but quick thinker!
Izzy loves to create things she can share with her friends (even when she has none, its the future thought that counts)
Izzy is the tallest out of the 5 of them? At least she’s taller than Pipp and Sunny
Izzy believes in Sunny way more than the rest of them do :) When Sunny has a plan, Izzy is ready to back her up!
now i see so many mixed opinions on pipp, but its mostly bc she's social media pony and i can't lie.... i tire of it... but pipp is great on her own! i dont think there's too much wrong with her, but at the same time i havent picked up much of her character and personality outside of social media (aside from this list ofc)
Bc her sister loves mystery and being a detective, Pipp lowkey has a spy hobby :) it started when they were kids, but it came back once they moved to Maretime bay
Pipp plans extravagant fake cases for Zipp every birthday :)
Pipp got her love of mystery (and by extension: horror / spooky) from her sister
Pipp does not have an interest in being any type of leader! she likes to inspire, but not lead :)
Pipp loves to glamp, and takes Hitch with her! Sometimes she camps with him to "embrace nature"
She likes to hear Sunny's spooky stories of the Everfree Forest
Pipp is a speed reader >:3 Any book she reads she just zooms through it
She's a great liar, for acting purposes but also just to save her hide.
Pipp can also be max sneaky, or by being the younger sib with no real duty to fulfill, its much easier for her to slip under the radar. Could be a reason she adores fame so badly and chases it harder than Zipp or Haven do
Pipp knows the city streets like the back of her hoof
She doesnt take Hitch’s title of sheriff very seriously unless she’s in Maretime bay
Pipp is VERY good at being a hype pony [ She was so happy to hype up sunny i ship pipp x sunny call that star petals ]
ill be so honest, hitch was my favorite from the beginning :D he's my favorite g5 pony ever, he's so cute and i love him to no ends!! i really liked seeing him stand up for what he believed in, and then when sunny was like "look, i told you" he didnt try to make any excuse why any pony kinds couldnt be friends :) he accepted it and was ready to help! i loved his moral code, you dont see a lot of lawful good characters this day and age (as far as ive seen)
BUT they did... do something to change his character in mym and tyt, taking away his love for order and replacing it with "stupid cop" gags and him being extremely silly. I miss his overconfidence and ego :( i dont think it should have left with the movie's end, it would have been so funny is he was still such a hardass
When Hitch gets stressed, he tries to alieve the situation and then calm down
Hitch is a scaredy cat
He has an overwhelming love for Maretime Bay, and typically likes to stay there if he can
Hitch liked not having magic so he doesn't actually use the new magic he gains
Hitch is loved by everyone in Maretime Bay, and he loves to protect him as much as he can, but he doesn't baby them
He makes jokes about a holiday about him where everyone cleans up litter around town, but insists its a joke
He gives good advice!
Hitch wanted to protect Sunny from being alone, and often protected her from bullies
Hitch doesn't put his friends above the law, and insists on fair punishment
After he gets Sparky, Hitch doesn't get to work out as much
Adding onto that, Hitch and Pipp bond over mane care
He's a realist, and knows that he can be wrong. But he'd rather the proof be shown first before he switches his ideals
Hitch is always open to listen
so called "free thinkers" when misty brightdawn is the best character in make your mark by far, solely because she feels (to me) like the only 3 dimensional character in the series :/ otherwise i just love her range and how silly she can be :) she feels real and fleshed out and obv she's just cute
Misty's special talent is actually inspiring change within herself and in other ponies, but whatever mym said is fine too
She's a jack of all trades after being made to be basically a maid of Opaline
She's got an excellent sense of direction
Misty got magic with everyone else, but bc of being in Opaline's castle, it was delayed, and weaker + Opaline forbade her from using it
Misty is more willing to confide in Sunny if prompted, because of all the times Sunny's protected her from pressure + Sunny is just a nice beacon of hope to talk to
Misty and Sunny bond over having to find their place in the world on their own due to absence of parent
Misty likes exploring creative outlets with Izzy
Misty hangs out with Sparky and Hitch n they're like a little family (blatant Histy shipping...)
Misty knows a lot about ancient artifacts
Misty (should) have her own room in the Brighthouse specifically for her, that only she and Zipp know about bc they both like quiet time
Misty and Opaline have a similar was of thinking after being together for so long (even though they weren't close)
Her moral code isnt cyrstal clear, due to her conflicted ideals after meeting the mane 5
She doesn't see Opaline as anything more than a faulty mentor and boss, but Opaline does provide for her so Misty is fine to stay
Misty and Izzy bond over basically being outcasts of Bridlewood (for different reasons)
Misty does not scare easy (vs Hitch who does, and Pipp who loves to be scared)

G5 MLP
It truly isn’t as bad as ppl make it out to be. I will counter every point Ik of that haters use against g5
“Sunny became an alicorn too soon and too easily”
We only saw the climax of her alicorn arc, which was the movie. You’d say the same thing if g4 opened w/ their “twilight becomes a princess” episode. Sunny worked all her life to try and change the minds of those around her, the only help she had was her dad who disappeared at some point in time. He probably died but whatever. She willingly let herself be ostracized by everyone in Maritime Bay except Hitch JUST bc they were doing and saying things she didn’t support, and thats just the backstory. I don’t know why ppl think bringing pony tribes back together again AND restoring magic to equestria isn’t a princess worthy task. She’s only a part time alicorn anyways, I believe it’s bc she didn’t create new magic but I won’t get into that here. I see ppl say “she did nothing compared to twilight” and it makes me so upset, if they want to boil down Sunny’s lifelong journey of reuniting ponykind to just a short adventure then you have to boil down what twilight did to “finishing a spell”. Why is being the twilight of your time not a princess worthy task?
2. “the animation is tacky”
Yes, animation in chapter 1 was a MAJOR downgrade from the movie, but that’s to be expected. The animators were just getting used to 3D animation in that style and they didn’t have that big of a budget to work with, the latest chapter was so animated it was amazing. I will admit, that thing where they lean forward and their hooves scrunch is kinda weird but it’s easy to get past with everything else to look at on screen.
3. “I don’t like how the show is set up”
I usually see this for one of two reasons, it’s either too “childish” or they don’t like how it’s connected to g4. MLP has always been a kids show, directed at young girls in the past but now it’s more for everyone. G1, g2, and g3 were pretty “mindless” and didn’t make much sense at times but we all still love them bc it’s what we may have grown up with. G5 has an actual story to tell, just in a simpler way bc it’s a KIDS show. G4 was a FAMILY show, there is an important difference. A family show may be inherently for a younger audience but still has the capacity to make older audiences laugh and enjoy the show, like Bluey. A kids show is a show just for kids, it may not/doesn’t appeal to older audiences, like The Loud House or smth. I’m not all that familiar w/ popular kids shows because the audience the show is meant for is too young to be on the internet. I personally enjoy that I can take everything at face value in g5, it gives me a break from all the complicated values and conversations I have throughout the day and in other more complex media. And for the connected to g4 thing, that wasn’t a choice made by the team for g5. Hasbro told them to connect it to g4 in hopes that the g4 fans will come over to g5, which didn’t rlly work obviously. Considering that they HAD to make them connected, I think they did a good job.
4. “It got rid of all of twilights hard work”
things change, history gets muddled and sometimes it repeats itself. It’s actually a saying that if you forget history you’re doomed to repeat it, we know that the things taught in Maritime Bay’s history classes are actually false and that’s why everyone went to disharmony again. Twilight and her friends are regarded as being from “ancient times” so g5 is millennias in the future, you can’t seriously possibly expect things to stay the same FOREVER. Equestria may be a magical fun land but it isn’t a perfect heaven. In the first episode of g4 ponies thought that Nightmare Moon was just an old mares tale, and that was just one millennium. Let alone enough to get the current time out of “ancient times”.
End Notes
I rlly think anyone reading should give g5 a chance, you can’t knock it till you try it. The earlier chapters are harder to rlly love but it’s worth it, tbh that’s the same for g4. I tried to rewatch it from the beginning but I just couldn’t stand all the meanness to pinkie pie. We just have to remember that g5 isn’t meant for us, it’s not meant for an older audience. It’s a fun little kids show with a simple story, simple characters, and some songs. G4 got the exact same hate from g3 fans when it first came out and look how great it turned out to be.
In the end, it’s fine if you don’t like it. But you have to admit that g5 has done nothing wrong, it’s just not your cup of tea. Since when is a show deserving of hate for not being what you want it to be? When it’s not even for you?
if there are any more points I could respond to, then pls tell me. I would love to add to this but these are all the ones Ik

developing an idea for a pretty detailed/angsty MLP royal sisters origin AU(HCs and timeline) (Luna focused) (with a happy ending ofc) omgggg!!! (32 bullet pt.s below the cut) (comment something if I should add anything or if you have questions)
They're one year apart, Celestia is 15 and Luna is almost 14 when they become alicorns and very soon afterwards get crowned rulers, and they've had their cutie marks and been raising the moon/sun for a few years at this point.
They were both the magic apprentices of Starswirl before they transformed and became princesses (That part is actually canon I think)
Their magical abilities over the sun and moon are revered across the kingdom and they get crowned as rulers far too young because of how powerful they are. If a pony lives far enough away that they might never meet the princesses, they probably don't even know how young they are.
Luna and Celestia are both under too much pressure and it is severely Getting To Them, but in different ways.
Luna can't deal with it but it is much more difficult for her to keep her feelings on the inside than it is for her sister. Luna constantly cries and has to hide, leaving Celestia to handle whatever is going on by herself. Luna sometimes feels jealous that her sister is so "strong", but usually she just wishes she didn't have to be a princess.
Celestia can't make herself do anything besides move forward, but whenever they aren't in front of someone they have to behave for, she tends to act overly angry with Luna, Starswirl, their parents, or whoever. She is incredibly ashamed and whenever she has the energy she tries to make up for it and pretend like nothing is wrong, but Luna knows she is faking.
Luna sees how obviously stressed her sister is and tries to convince Celestia to step down from being a princess. All she wants is to be a normal kid again, she might even quit magic lessons.
Celestia works so hard to act like she's fine. She yells that Luna is the one leaving her to deal with ponies all by herself all the time, and that she should go hide in the dark for a thousand years. Their argument escalates until they fight and Celestia literally sends Luna to the moon. That happens two years after they become princesses, so ages 17 and nearly 16.
Celestia didn't know that alicorns were immortal yet, so she believed she would never see Luna again. It took another thirty or so years for her to reach her full height and power level(plus floaty hair), and all she could think of was how she would never see Luna grow up like she did. Luna would wake up after a millennium and be all by herself, just like how *she* was all alone right now. Celestia never really becomes friends with anyone for a while, and her parents never hear her even speak Luna's name for the rest of their lives.
Luna had a reputation for not liking anypony because nopony knew where she went when she disappeared to cry. When she banished and no explanation given, some noble-status unicorns started a rumor that Luna had been jealous of her sister. Celestia thinks it is selfish and cruel to allow ponies to think that of her fragile little sister, but she never disputes the rumors because she can't bear to say the truth about what she did.
Those rumors eventually become a bedtime story with an evil jealous princess with dark magic, Nightmare Moon. The story sticks around long enough that most ponies don't realize Princess Luna was real or that Celestia ever had a sister to rule with.
At some point, Celestia realizes she isn't going anywhere. She has long known the date of Luna's return and even created an annual festival as a count down timer for herself. But she never puts two and two together that she will be there to see Luna's return until that year grows very close.
When Luna is on the moon, she learns to navigate the dream realm. The moon isn't so much a place as it is a stasis state, but her mind can wander wherever it pleases. Many ponies have been visited by what seems to be a helpful spirit, an alicorn princess who is simply addressed as "Luna", but in the waking world she is known as the Princess of Dreams. She helps ponies to know what to do once they awake.
it takes years before Luna learns to access the dream realm, through sheer perseverance. She cried out one night from her own dream to another's she seemed nearby and realized she could literally reach out to them using her magic and cross in between dreams.
It takes even more years before Celestia hears about this. She halfway chalks it up to another fairy tale, something parents say to foals so they won't be afraid of the dark, or impatient or anxious for the coming day. The other part of her wishes somepony would tell her what to do in her dreams. This is nonsense of course, she is the monarch of Equestria and she always knows exactly what to do, she tells herself before drifting into sleep.
Luna doesn't exactly choose what dream she ends up in, she just follows a feeling of sorts. She has never visited her sister, but she vaguely remembers visiting Starswirl once. She spends years and years only in the dream realm and the days and nights all blend together. Whenever she is eventually released, it almost feels as if no time has passed at all, but her memory has faded all the same.
When Luna is returned, she is encapsulated in a shell made of matured alicorn magic just like Celestia's. She never really grew into it because she hasn't grown up yet. This entity calls itself Nightmare Moon, based on a powerful princess it saw in a child's dream. Nightmare Moon doesn't need anypony else, she never gets scared, she has a clear plan for exactly what to do with her kingdom, and she has powerful alicorn moon magic- she is perfect.
When Luna is freed from the shell, she is not only her teenage size, but visibly weaker from not being able to physically move for so long. She regularly zones out, but forgets whatever it is she was thinking when during that.
In her dreams, Luna is a young unicorn and her parents take care of her. Sometimes she replays a memory from what the kingdom was like a thousand years prior, but sometimes her parents are reimagined to teach her how to live in the present day.
Luna often struggles to understand modern stuff. She still uses old-fashioned grammatical structures because it's polite for her, but has picked up modern ponish language during her years in the dream realm helping out modern ponies.
With the way Celestia acts in the present, it's hard to believe she was ever the same pony Luna used to know. Celestia did eventually make other friends, as well as improved her mental health and her ruling capabilities. Sometimes, Luna doubts herself. Clearly, Celestia is a very capable leader, so does that mean Luna really was jealous and convinced herself that her sister was having the same feelings about ruling that she was just to justify wanting to step down? Was she truly in the wrong and trying to undermine Celestia's rule?
It's much more difficult for Luna to remember that far back than it is for Celestia, and her short term memory is pretty bad as well. It's hard to tell if that's because of her banishment, or because Luna always had a hard time with that sort of thing. Even now, Luna could tell you how to tell the difference between two (now extinct) wild cat species native to their mountain home, and which one was the dangerous one, but she could barely remember the events of her day sometimes.
Luna is not expected by Celestia to become a ruler again just because she's a princess. After all, just because her one-thousand-sixteenth birthday is on the horizon doesn't mean she isn't still a kid. All this is fine with the citizens because the lowkey forgot about her ever ruling in the first place.
Luna lives with Celestia some of the time, but Twilight is her guardian and her magic teacher. Until the return of the crystal empire, Cadence also frequently visited the Golden Oak Library to lighten the load, telling Twi it was just one of her royal duties, as she was the princess who often traveled for any royal duties outside Canterlot.
Luna's a little bit jealous that Twilight and Cadence got to grow up with the new Celestia, but she also feels isolated because nopony has the same complicated feelings about her that she does. Spike actually feels a similar way about Twilight, because Luna and the CMCs got to know Twilight only after her constant-study days when she'd ignore what he said, and long after she was young and hadn't fully realized Spike was more similar to a foal than a cat.
Luna probably has more questions about dragon culture than the other ponies do. Back before her banishment, the dragons were known to be another society, even if they were usually at war with ponies. Nowadays, it's been so long since contact with the dragons because Torch got bored of war centuries ago, that ponie didn't really know anything about dragons and didn't realize they had their own society and technology and language. Spike appreciates that Luna was the first pony he met who didn't think he was Twilight's tiny chubby pet at first.
When Twilight becomes an alicorn and gets crowned a princess, Luna gets pretty mad at Celestia until she realizes that Twilight is only given the amount of responsibility she is capable of, but she is still always ready to defend Twilight and stand up to Celestia.
Luna eventually gets comfortable being addressed as a princess, and even with being the ranking authority in certain situations, but she never gets the same type of ruler duties as Cadence and Celestia do.
By the time Starlight moves into Twilight's castle, Luna is beginning too consider moving out. There's plenty of space, so she gets to keep her room in the castle, but there's a whole lot of Equestria out there.
She packs light and is super chill, not necessarily the adventurer type, but she visits damn near every city on the map and meets tons of ponies her own age who she remains in contact with, before-
eventually attending Twilight's school of friendship for one term and befriending some of the other students from multiple different grades.
Yona, Smolder, Pinkie, and Maude become some of her best friends out of the canon cast, but she makes other friends too. The five of them bond over being willing to eat literal rocks, and not fitting in.

A headcanon of a romantic yandere Sunny Starscout with an earth pony reader who believed in her ideas of friendship prior towards the events of "mlp: a new generation.
Of course I can!
Yandere! Sunny Starscout with Earth Pony! Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Clingy behavior, Delusional behavior, Slight stalking implied, Mutual relationship for the most part, Poor mental health.
Sunny's obsession definitely starts during the events of the movie.
No one else believes in her cause...
No other earth pony thinks they should all be friends with pegsai and unicorns-
Except you... who is curious of what life would be like alongside the two other pony types.
Sunny's extremely happy someone takes her seriously.
You both are in it for the long run once you both meet Izzy.
Sunny falls for you throughout the movie's events.
The earth pony starts to get more and more friendly with you as you help her through her journey.
Even the others comment on how excited Sunny always is to see you.
Plus who could ignore the tight hugs Sunny gives you?
Sunny has a huge crush on you but isn't entirely sure when is right to say it.
After all, your journey has been rather tense and stressful.
So... Sunny waits patiently to tell you her feelings.
Sunny's already excited about friendship.
Love is even more exciting for her!
You've been with her cause since the start... always willing to help her.
Once the events of the movie end, you move in with Sunny into her lighthouse.
She tries so hard to hide her brewing feelings.
Although you'll probably suspect something when Sunny keeps giving you special smoothies and tackles you into hugs when she sees you.
She is horrible at keeping up her act.
When you ask her about it, Sunny caves.
She admits it....
She loves you so much.
You may even say yes as she's so nice.
Which leads to Sunny being obsessive about your relationship.
She wants to do all the couple things.
Gifts, hugs, nuzzles, doing everything together.
She also seems like the pony to note everything you two do in her notebook.
Sunny would also have her alicorn magic at this time.
Sometimes she gets so excited about you her alicorn powers activate.
An annoyance to her but you think it's funny....
Sunny is Affectionate, Clingy, and Obsessive.
She may get a bit jealous but you're usually good at reassuring her.
She's obsessive, she may stalk yet she prefers to just be near you all the time.
You wonder what she notes down in her book so much...
She'd never say.
Sunny seems like she'd get overly flustered with her darling.
You make her heart set ablaze and she can't help but smother you in affection.
Sunny is not a yandere to kidnap and she rarely manipulates.
She's more of just a yandere that never leaves your side.
It's even easier to keep you close as you live together.
You could go to bed alone and wake up to Sunny beside you, loving your company and sleeping peacefully.
She's hoplessly in love with her darling all the time.
You also get second hoof fame because you're dating an alicorn.
Such attention isn't really that welcome and Sunny usually tries to hide you from prying eyes....
If you didn't accept her feelings, Sunny is quickly heartbroken.
She goes into a depression and isn't seen for days.
She then puts on a delusional belief you do love her to save her from heart break.
How could you not love her?
Sunny's a mare with a hopeful dream and is so nice to you!
It'd be hard not to love her anyways....
"You've always been there for me... I love that about you!"

Even more ponified Ed Edd n Eddy. Almost done (until I draw more).
Double Dee did a spell on her, the same one Twilight put on everyone but Rarity on that one episode of MLP. Just so she can hang out with Kev in the clouds.
(And yes I'm a stinky Kevnazz shipper, a multi shipper, and yes this is my second favorite ship or tied to first I can't decide).
Personally I think he's not that cool. Mid character. (Lies in sees potential).
The Cul De Sac kids because I want to see them and the Eds in the same page. Also the more I draw these guys the less stiff they feel idk.
Oh and kevin quoting that same laugh that I took from the game Mis Ed-ventures whenever you lose your life or get caught in said game.
The Kanker Sisters about to throw hooves. Idk what they're fighting about and I doubt they know either. Also May cutiemark reveal.
The Eds and the Kankers. Just to see all of them together, full body.
Transparent and more undercut:
Almost done with pony Peach Creek for now. Here are some things about ponified Cul De Sac kids.
Sarah: her and Jimmy wishes to be alicorns someday but are otherwise content with just being themselves. Pretty much close to match her brother's strength.
Her cutiemark is kinda hard to explain. It's a heart that's loud if that makes sense. Sarah can be caring to those who she deemed deserves it and she can be a loud mouth. (I might change it into something better but idk if I should save it for some other character).
Jimmy: A pegasus who's dream is to be a fashion model. He can't fly but only because he wasn't taught how to, but after a while like in season three or something idk I'd make a fan ponified episode where Kevin teaches him how to fly and Eddy joins in somehow. Not explaining it all here but I've been thinking about it.
Jimmy's cutiemark is meant to match Sarah's, which is a heart with a halo. (Not too sure about that one but as long as I gave them sort of matching cutiemarks then I guess I'm good).
Jonny 2x4: he's the only spotted pony in the Cul De Sac. Sometimes the others can't tell if his spots are dirt marks or actual spots. For the most part they are legit spots but at times there are dirt spots too. This version loves playing in the dirt as well as climbing stuff.
He doesn't have a cutiemark yet. Too occupied with Plank to try and get one. (When he gets one tho idk it might be an acorn. Or a melon. Maybe both. Maybe even two acorns).
Plank: speak of the devil. Plank is as mysterious in the pony world as much as he is in his original one. He only ever really hangs out with Jonny and pretty much tells him what to do most of the time. They're inseparable though.
Plank is as much of a blank flank as Jonny. Tho Jonny might draw him one eventually. (He just doesn't know what it should be yet).
---
It's crazy how I'm unsure about Sarah's Jimmy's Jonny's and Plank's cutiemarks despite two of them not having cutiemarks yet.
Thanks for reading and viewing my fan art, have a great day/night! 👍🌟✨

Made my Pinkiedash kids in Ponytown :) (+ Toola Roola who also happens to be a Pinkiedash kid in this au)
They're not 1:1 accurate to their actual designs in my head but they're close. Using this as an alternative while I get comfortable with my art again because I know I'm not totally comfortable with drawing ponies yet and I want to stick to what I know for now. So I'm also gonna smack their notes here lol
Toola Roola
-Eldest child
-Toola Roola is really just a composite character between g3 Rarity and g3 Toola Roola, moreso Rarity who I have a ton of nostalgic attachment to. I'm just using Toola Roola as well because I obviously can't have her be named Rarity or have her be a unicorn here, much less a princess. (I mean I guess I could through recessive genes but I don't headcanon Pinkie or Rainbow to have any unicorns in their recent family anyways) I mean... just look at g3 Rarity and tell me to my face that she doesn't look like a Pinkiedash kid.
-Her special talent is in art but she also loves roller skating and is interested in magic. She sometimes spends time with Twilight in the castle to learn how to use a magic wand. She not-so secretly wants to be an alicorn. Miiight have a crush on Nightfall Flicker (Twilight's kid).
-Super curious and inquisitive, always asking questions and wanting to try out new things.
-Very clumsy and air headed, and has the tendency to be selfish and disregard her duties. She's gotten fired from a lot of jobs due to this and it's what's holding her back in her magic studies. (adhd queen)
Sugar Rush
-She got Pinkie's excitement and fun and Dash's adrenaline junkie and love for sports... she is very, very eccentric as a result.
-She's always challenging other ponies in sports competitions, whether they want to or not. She's actually a really good sport though and mostly does it for fun when it's with friends. She's encouraging and sweet when she wins, and pouty but celebratory to the winner when she loses.
-She can get insecure over her friends though, since they can't quite keep up with her attitude. She worries that they're all secretly exhausted of her and actually want to get rid of her. She can get pretty overbearing as a result.
-She helps out at Sugar Cube Corner with Mama Pinkie sometimes, but doesn't really have the patience to bake. She prefers racing Mama Rainbow.
-Does she sleep?
-Not sure on her special talent yet
Blueberry Drizzle
-Very gloomy and quiet. She doesn't have a very high opinion of herself and can't find the motivation to do much of anything.
-She feels rather out of place in the PinkieDash household considering her parents and siblings are far more outgoing and brash, and her siblings could easily talk over her and leave her behind. She is far more withdrawn and quiet and her relationship with them is more distant as a result (to her mothers' dismay).
-She was never emotionally neglected or anything, her moms love her very much and made sure to spend individual time with her... she just can't keep up and feels horrible about it.
-(This is kind of meant to be a parallel to how Pinkie felt with her own family back home. They love her but it wasn't the environment she thrived in)
-Her relationship with Sugar Rush is a lot more strained however and the two dislike one another.
-Her special talent is creating rainstorms and she's the one that succeeds Rainbow at his weather management job.
#side note why isnt the curly pinkie pie hair available in there...? toola's hair isnt exactly her style but it's definitely curly#torn on whether or not sugar or blueberry are twins tbh. leaning towards the idea that they are#because I made their designs parallel one another#i wanted their names to parallel and have sugar's name be strawberry something to match... but sugar rush is too perfect for a pinkiedash k#kid#echoed voice#mlp nextgen

Heya! I'm the anom who asked the First request. May I ask another one of platonic headcanons of royal sisters with younger sister alicorn reader?
Thx!
Hey again anon!! Good to get another request from you!! I try my best to do gn readers, so at risk of maybe bending the rules of canon a little, the reader is going to be described as a sibling instead of a sister. (I just like trying to stay as inclusive as possible, so anyone could put themselves in the reader's shoes. Unless it's about a trans reader or something like that, maybe. I hope you understand!) Anyway, these headcanons are gonna be fun for us both! Enjoy!!
(♡˙︶˙♡)
Luna & Celestia / younger sibling!reader headcanons 🌙☀️
When you were first learning to fly your older sisters would help you out
They still love flying with you, Celestia in the day and Luna at night
But it's most fun at dawn or dusk when you can all fly together
When you were little and would have bad dreams Luna would help out
Doing arts and crafts with Celestia
Doing book readings and discussions with Luna
Going to social events together
Sometimes being a mediator between your sisters
Admiring the warm friendliness of Celestia
Admiring the cool grace of Luna
Worrying sometimes about the mental health of your sisters, what with Equestria being under threat a lot and them being the highest rulers
Making breakfast with Celestia
Helping hang lavender in the castle halls with Luna
You each have a section in the royal garden, with a spot in the middle you all contribute to
Once a week you have family board game night and you rotate who gets to pick the game
Celestia likes games like charades
Luna likes games like chess
The wedding between Cadence and Shining Armor is a wonderful memory you'll always have (after the whole changeling thing obviously-)
When Flurry Heart was born you took a liking to her
Visiting Twilight sometimes to help when she was babysitting Flurry
Or just visiting Cadence to help with Flurry
Joking about how there's so many alicorns that you could start your own band and tour Equestria
Seriously there's six of you
But the ones that matter the most are your loving sisters, who you love back, Luna and Celestia
I think there's a lot more this time, which is because I've noticed my other posts getting longer and longer, and I didn't want you to get stuck with shorter posts, anon! Also, if you want, for future asks you could start going by a certain anon name!! (You don't have to of course) Thanks for the prompt, I had fun writing these, and I look forward to doing more in the future!!! Much love!!!

Based on that recent Izzzyzzz vid; what's your opinion on how Twilight becoming an alicorn was handled in the show?
I’m not familiar with Izzzyzzz or any of their videos, but I’m about halfway through Season 4 on my rewatch now so I think I’m at a good place to have an informed answer.
I…don’t really love how Twilight’s alicornhood is being handled so far. It’s a mixed bag, really. I think there were plenty of bronies back in the day who hated alicorn Twilight simply because they don’t like change, but I don’t follow that logic. I don’t hate or even dislike every aspect of that narrative. I think it was great that Season 3 had some actual buildup to Twilight’s ascension (such as Celestia talking about her being “ready” in the Crystal Empire episode) so it didn’t come entirely out of nowhere. Magical Mystery Cure was fast-paced and arguably a bit rushed, and I do think it could have done better as a two-parter, but I didn’t dislike that episode either. In fact, I downright liked it, it would have been great if it were just a bit longer. I’ve seen plenty of episodes that are more rushed or downright out-of-character, but this seemed to make some sense for Twilight’s journey.
I have also heard that Season 3 was supposed to be the last season until it got renewed post-production, so in light of that, it makes sense that Twilight Sparkle as the main character would have found her “destiny” at the end. It also makes sense for the genre that her destiny would have been becoming a princess in a little girls’ show about magical ponies. I’m sure this is a case where Hasbro showed the writers a toy that they wanted incorporated into the show, and I think the writers seriously did the best they could with that.
But since Season 3 was NOT the last season, it’s really clear that Twilight should have become an alicorn at least a full season later for the narrative to really work. In fact, I’m sometimes not sure she should have become a princess at all. In the Season 4 premiere, it’s clear she’s crumbling under the pressure of being a princess, knowing that her duties will separate her from her friends more (which they do sometimes!) It’s even been canon since Magic Duel that she’s insecure about being perceived as better than others, and being a princess makes it worse! She even had to ask her best friends to stop calling her “princess” and putting her on a pedestal, even just knowing she’s “above” them has to be uncomfortable. Her friends wouldn’t even let her save the world with them because “we might die and you need to be safe because you’re a princess” so she was also getting excluded from like, friendship adventures and shit for at least an episode. Her friends learned otherwise but it’s still so hurtful. She didn’t ask to be a princess.
From what I remember of Twilight’s Kingdom, the Season 4 finale, Twilight didn’t even have any real duties, which made her feel even worse. Put above her friends, but useless compared to the other princesses. It’s like Celestia didn’t think her “destiny” through enough, giving it to her before she had anything useful to do with it. It would have been a lot better if she had promoted Twilight to like, a royal advisor type position or some other “third/fourth in line” deal where she has extra duties and leadership power in times of crisis without the pressure of being a princess. And THEN maybe she could have become a real princess after the Tirek debacle, when she was finally solidified as the Princess of Friendship.
Or she could have not become a princess altogether! Her real destiny could have been something more akin to being the next Starswirl the Bearded! She was compared to him quite a bit so I think it’s something that would have been fitting and fulfilling for her.
What makes Twilight’s ascension even stranger is that her status as an alicorn is hardly relevant outside of the two-parters. Literally nopony even acknowledges she’s an alicorn—in fact, she was practically cussed out for trying to skip a line in the Manehattan episode! With how much ponies seem to worship their royalty, this seems incredibly unrealistic to their society’s values. If it were Celestia, Luna, or even Cadence, ponies would be bowing to them and letting them skip lines without even being asked. It’s like Twilight is still a unicorn in most episodes. It’s nice that she gets to live as an ordinary citizen and not be put on a pedestal by everyone she meets, but it’s getting to be a bit unbelievable. It’s like Twilight’s status as an alicorn princess is either overemphasized to the point of making her insecure, or ignored to the point of letting her get actively disrespected.
In sum: I didn’t mind the buildup and process of Twilight’s ascension, and I understand why the writers did it when and how they did, but if there were no toy-selling constraints I think she should have become an alicorn at the end of Season 4 at the earliest. Or, perhaps, she should have had a different destiny altogether.
