Kicking my little feetsies at the club thinking about how Michael took the nightshift for night 7 of FNAF 2, and how the Puppet can still attack the nightguard that night. Just been daydreaming that Michael forgets the music box, and panics when pop goes the weasel starts playing. Charlie tackles Michael to the floor because she mistakes him for William at first, but when her "awareness" kicks in, she realizes that the man is too young. Out of all the spirits, she would be the most familiar with what each of the Aftons look like. This is Mike, she realizes. This is a friend. So she crawls off of him, hesitates, then plops down in the corner of the office for the rest of the night, meanwhile Michael keeps throwing "that puppet thing" extremely wary glances. He has other animatronics to handle, so wariness is the most he can afford to give.
The night gets suspiciously tamer when each time a new animatronic enters the room, the Puppet just leans forward as if silently communicating something, followed by the animatronic rarely returning back to the room. (Charlie's quietly urging the other souls to be at peace tonight. It doesn't fully work, since they're "like animals," but it works well enough to give Michael a better chance at survival.)
I'm just simply very fond of the thought of Charlie being protective over Michael. Because of how Michael was as a kid, I imagined at first that they didn't really get along, especially considering Michael was a bit older than her. But the more I think about it, the more I imagine that being at Henry's home always felt like a breath of fresh air to him. I want to imagine that he treated Charlotte as a friend, for Henry's sake at the very least. And maybe she wouldn't have forgotten that. Maybe he had always been an annoying friend who teased her over the little things back then, and perhaps they hadn't been the closest, but it's nice to know that there's still somebody left alive. I'd like to imagine that she wants Michael to stay alive.
Lost in fnaf 2 brain

Hello! Can you do a request, Platonic or Friendship of Transformers (Prime, RID 2015, Animated, and others) Autobot kids, of your choice, w/ Reader as a Bot (or Animatronic) who's based on Daycare attendant (Sun/Moon/Eclipse) from Fnaf?
(if its okay add a reactions of the Autobots on Platonic relationship or Friendship between Autobots' kids and Daycare attendant! Reader?)
(Thank you and Hope you doing well!)
A/n: I'm having a wonderful day anon and i hope you do as well! Decided to add everyone's reaction so it's a big post! (I literally love sun and moon, the silly jester's)
Warnings: Fluff, Platonic Care, Friendship/ Guardian Care, Angst
Tfp:
Jack
He was more amazed by your design, how gracefully you moved compared to the other bots
You often would invite him to join you into some activities but he'd brush it off saying that he was too old for that kinda stuff (but you did make it look fun)
Then there was your moon form, the switch from you bubbly and exciting personality to a more docile yet protective one was quite baffling to him (also talk about a makeover)
Poor him if you hear about a messed up sleep schedule from being a teenager. Even his mom hasn't been able to get him to bed (he was obviously grumpy about it, but deep down was moved by your care for him.)
When he meets eclipse when he's in danger he feels so shocked but safe. What happened to you?
Has seen and understood the protection protocols you have and just how much you care about their safety.
Miko
Definitely still rebellious. If you think she called people her parents as an insult you definitely fit the parental role in her life.
She was at first very outspoken about not wanting you watching over them. (Babysitting her)
And when she tried to show you heavy metal by playing it, you happily supported her by playing a tiny xylophone. (You were trying your best but being excessively loud wasn't your deal)
You'd try to give her the space she needed but you obviously cared about her.
She did think your moon form was awesome. (Especially when she heard about you protection protocols)
You were unsuccessful to get her to sleep at reasonable hours but she ended up growing fond of you. You actually cared and supported her while her parents wanted her to be perfect. And you liked her the way she was.
Would more often than not join the activities you had planned out for them, learning that you were actually loads of fun behind your safety protocols (and human care files)
When she meets eclipse she thinks you're so cool! Yeah kick the cons ass! Definitely tells you that you're like a weapon which makes you feel bad, you worked so hard making sure that would never happen again. She clarifies that she just thinks that you being able to fight makes you awesome in her eyes.
Raf
Beyond delighted to meet you! Most bots are busy and don't often have time to chat but you're more than happy to talk to your hearts content with him
He allows your personality to shine, letting you both make fun activities and just hanging out with you
Definitely sees you as a Guardian because his family often overlooks him/ pressures him. But you can give him your undivided attention and compassion. He is still a growing boy
Is practically beaming when he sees your Moon form! "How did you do that!?"
Sometimes he overworks himself on what he's doing and you can always persuade him to rest
You can tell him stories and even play from your built in music box. You definitely help him feel safe and rest easy.
Definitely shows you morning cartoons and you sit happily with him and watch him. He also teaches you about videogames.
When he meets eclipse he's honestly worried about you but also sees that you're not some defenseless bot and you're willing to risk spark and limb to keep them all safe
Optimus
He knew a bit about your past and he trusts you with the kids. He has no problem believing that you excel at entertaining and protecting them
He knows about your protective protocols and about eclipse and how that came to be
You were a caregiver on cybertron, watching over new bots and keeping them happy and healthy. You took absolute happiness in caring and playing with them, until the war. He knows how you tragically lost all of those under your care, seeing them all perish without being able to stop anything
He knows how that affected you eventually causing a split in your personality. Eclipse was more or less who you were, sun and moon were what you were left with after all the heartbreak.
He's seen how despite not wanting to be on the battlefield, you can definitely kick ass. Seeing you attack ferociously almost in a rampage when he first met you on cybertron
He treats you with much respect and feels easy around you. With how serious the war has been having you around is like a breath of fresh air
Ratchet
Man is a doctor, not a babysitter and he appreciates you
Hes always on edge and his patience is thin so he could never properly take care of the kids, even if he's grown on them (with some favoritism to raf)
At first he didn't really think you had it in you to be an Autobot or watching over the kids but you've shown him just how much you're capable of your work
You can work with the kids, having so much patience and just care for them. He realizes your strength and grows to truly appreciate the care you put into them
He definitely notices when you sometimes grow anxious around the kids but you prioritize them.
He doesn't know why until he asks optimus. His view on you definitely changes, he wonders if you see pieces of the young bots under your care in the kids
Arcee
Definitely didn't believe in your capabilities in fighting until there came a moment when the kids were in danger. You turned into eclipse, swiftly taking care of the problem before frantically checking over the kids
She was FLABBERGASTED. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN KICK ASS, YOU'RE A BABYSITTER??
She finds it funny when Jack comes and complains about your caring nature to her. She cares about him and also nags him, so she bonds with you over that care
Asks more about eclipse while all you can do is politely decline answering her questions. Its a sore spot for you and eclipse is strange to you
She also asks about your past and relates to you. She also had to deal with grief over the war, and she sympathizes with you. She stops pushing for answers and understands what you do and who you are better
Definitely happy to have you stay in base watching over the kids if an emergency happens. She trusts you and is grateful for you.
She finds your music box relaxing.
Bumblebee
He loves your personality, he's always happy to see you. But he's even happier to participate in your activities.
He also has fun watching over the kids but you do a stellar job!
He thinks it's cute how you take care of the kids, you just radiate lively energy
Then he sees your moon form and he's pleasantly surprised by the shift. Especially if the kids are staying over for the night. The way you carry yourself with serenity and care is so different but wonderful.
You often ask for them to keep quiet if the kids are sleeping.
He's heard about eclipse but hasn't met them yet.
Bulkhead
He's just happy that someone more careful with their feet are taking care of the kids
Hes a big guy with great strength. He tries to be gentle but he can fail, so having you watch over the kids is like taking a sigh if relief.
He may find your switching from sun to moon a bit uncanny but he just doesn't know how to interact with you. (He's nervous and doesn't truly understand how it works)
Sees you try to take care of miko and sometimes apologies for her, even when you told him that this reaction is natural in growing kids
He often overlooks your activities because he doesn't want to accidentally break anything you've set up.
Learns about your past and can't help but feel bad for you. The war has harmed alot of people but how could it rip such a vibrant bot like you.
Happy to have someone that knows what they're doing taking care of the kids.
Tfa:
Sari
She enjoys your company when she's more younger. She's always wanted to hangout with the bots more but sometimes she has to sit out certain missions. Luckily you're there to watch over her.
She definitely is happy that you actually know how to take care of humans and understand them. (You downloaded your information)
She was happy to count on you when her father was missing. You definitely made it easier for her and she appreciates you.
When she turns into a teenager that's where some changes happen. She thinks you might watch over her as babysitting and she can take care of herself!
She also puts a bit of a front with your moon form. She's not a little kid and she can stay up longer. (In her opinion, she tends to knockout early thanks to you)
She adores how your personality changes like the sun and the moon.
They day she saw you turn into eclipse she was shocked. "YOU KEPT A SECRET THIS BIG FROM ME???"
She'd love to see eclipse more often but usually gets told to not push it.
Optimus
Doesn't fully understand humans or taking care of younger ones. He does end up learning by asking Sari and you. He picks up some stuff pretty quickly
He doesn't understand why you were added onto their team from the beginning. They were maintenance bots and you were??? Well, not that.
Your long limbs did prove to be helpful on more than one occasion and you were quite flexible.
He met eclipse when you had saved Sari from getting taken by the Cons. You singlehandedly scared them off and he was frozen in place. You were so quick and fierce getting her back and away from them, yet so gentle at handling her and looking her over for any injuries. He couldn't quite process it for a minute.
He asked you about eclipse and you nervously told him that it was something of mindset that combined both your personalities and it only ever appeared on cybertron. He respected your boundaries and made sure to remember them.
He feels relaxed around your moon form, but your footsteps are so light he forgets that you can still be walking around. (Has to listen closely to pick up on your bells)
Ratchet
At first he was deeply annoyed by you. Especially when you were Sun. He thought he had gotten another energetic and unruly young bot that he'd have to watch over like bumblebee.
Then when you all arrived on earth he saw just how patient you are. You would answer Saris questions, keep her entertained and safe.
He was also caught off guard by your moon form. He's grown more used to your Sun form and gets a bit spooked out at first. He ends up liking how you remind them to rest and just how calm you are. What freaks him out more is when you play your music box.
When he saw eclipse he was more cautious and even a bit frightened at what had just happened. He knew that your personalities weren't a common occurrence, not even on Cybertron, especially when it appeared in a time of high stress.
He became more fascinated in wether eclipse was some way you coped with emergencies or as a fight or flight response. He definitely thought it was a fight response on how you maneuvered yourself against the cons to get Sari back.
He was worried about leaving Sari in your care after that, scared that you could potentially hurt her.
He did some digging through the ship and learned about your past. You were tasked to look after young bots, not necessarily a teacher. He learned that you've been around from before the war and how you were sent to evacuate the young ones to an area away from the fighting only for the Cons to lay siege on the area, thinking it was an Autobot hideout.
He saw that you were basically rehabilitated after being eclipse for so long, but you couldn't go back to your original job because of it.
He saw that you truly cared about Sari and you would protect her and he trusted you again. He just hoped that reverting to eclipse didn't cause any psychological episodes on you. It's hard to read you when you always act like everything is okay.
Prowl
He didn't think much of you like Ratchet. Already having a taste of another energetic personality (bumblebee) he wasn't exactly excited to work with you.
When you had arrived on earth, much like him, you were curious and open about this planet to the point of downloading just about any information you could find.
Then he saw you watching over Sari and learned that you were also observant and clever. You were sometimes able to get Sari to do things that she would refuse to do (like sleeping early)
He sometimes talks to you about his observations, seeing how you light up and are interested in mundane things like nature with him.
Then he sees your moon from and he greatly enjoys your company. You're much more relaxed and quiet, you seem more docile. Some night he enjoys quietly talking to you.
And then theres eclipse. He didn't even know you could fight. Despite his initial shock his gut feeling tells him to trust you. Especially when you held Sari and were practically all over her asking if she was scared and if she was hurt.
He did want to talk more about eclipse, he knew you would get a bit uncomfortable, but he reasoned that getting better control of eclipse could prove more helpful for you. Eventually he'd get eclipse to come out again, making sure to help you grow accustomed to them.
He learned that Eclipse was more silent and more alert, almost on guard. He'd end up talking to you getting told small bits of your past but he was okay with it. He's more happy that you don't pose a threat to yourself and others
Bumblebee
He got along with you! You were so much fun and so active! You weren't reckless like he was but he still enjoyed time with you.
And going to earth didn't change much, except he thinks you became a bit of a buzz kill. It was mostly because he always let Sari tag along and you didn't want her to get hurt.
He knows it comes from a good place at heart but he feels like you nag him a bit.
He wasn't too fond of your moon form. You were quite and usually wanted to talk in a hushed tone (because you had already put Sari to sleep)
He gets to learn more about humans when you and Sari are talking or making a fun activity together. He often joins in on the fun (usually to escape s boring task)
When he met your eclipse form he was bewildered and awkward honestly. "So we're not going to talk about your crazy orange side?"
More blunt about the subject, he wanted answers! But luckily ratchet just told him that when you were ready you'd explain it.
Bulkhead
He definitely gets along really well with you. You tend to keep things safe and fun, and he appreciates it
He has grown used to seeing you watch over Sari but he also gets his time to spend with her
You have both actually bonded over art! He makes paintings while you tend to draw adorable stick figures, that you sometimes deck out with glitter glue. Everytime you show him your work he's always positive about it.
As well as bumblebee he's liked you before landing on earth.
At first your moon form caught him off guard, especially when you'd walk around ay night, but he's used to it now.
When he saw Eclipse he was taken aback and frightened. It looked like you but it wasn't quite you. You were defensive and just worried about Sari.
He kept a close eye on the two of you for a while, trying to ease his own nerves.
He confronts you about it, bringing it up gently and you tell him that it's complicated but you didn't intend on scaring anyone. He doesn't judge you and is just happy to have you back.
RID 2015:
Russle
He was at first trying to be distant from you. To be fair he saw you like a babysitter and he was trying to act more mature.
He at first would be dismissive at first at your attempts to befriend him but he'd eventually give in with some pressure from his dad.
Eventually he'd find the activities you set up to be actually fun, heck, even his dad would take part in them with him and they'd have a great bonding experience
He'd find your sun colors to be bright but not too oversaturated. You reminded him of a carnival.
When he met your moon form one of the Decepticons managed to break free from his pod at night. Russell was taking a walk with his father and they were about to be trampled until you practically flung the Decepticon away.
And that's when he looked up and saw you. You were so different like this, you changed color and personality, at first he called out to you nervously not sure if you were alright. Luckily after dealing with the Decepticon you leaned down and comforted the two (his dad practically froze on instinct)
Then after getting used to your moon form, being more quiet and peaceful he met your eclipse from. This was probably his favorite form of yours because you were still fun but you were more relaxed
He enjoyed introducing you to new things on earth and answering your questions, you were just so wholesome and excited about it.
Overall he enjoys the time he spends with you, well except when they leave him out of missions and leave him in your care (he's just salty he doesn't get included)
Bumblebee
Was concerned when you had also traveled the space bridge with them. Him and strongarm were at least police, sideswipe got dragged along, but you weren't exactly what he'd call cut out for the job.
He struggled to understand where you fit in, sure you had juvenile tendencies but you weren't a handful to deal with like sideswipe. You also tended to follow along but not all to the book like strongarm. You were like your own middle space. When you first arrived on earth you were definitely spending more time looking around and learning about the planet.
He grew fond of your personality, you were optimistic and energetic, which is why it surprised him to see your moon form. Sure you saved Russell from getting stomped but you also took down a whole con. Alone.
He was curious about your moon form, noticing how quieter you were, especially your footsteps, it was harder to hear where you were if it weren't from the bells decorating you.
He overall tried talking to you about it, in which you assured him that this was just how you were, but you didn't think you'd change while on earth. Speaking of changes when you turned into eclipse he thought you broke or something.
It was a high stress situation and you weren't taking it too well but he was walking you through it (to the best of his ability) until he saw you change. In this form you were more grounded and put together and you ended up helping alot like this.
He enjoys watching you interact with Russel and the others, reminds him of when he didn't have the responsibility of a leader. That and too often humored him more than the others. He knows he doesn't have to worry too much about you (especially seeing how capable you were at handling yourself) but sometimes worries when you change between forms. He wonders if it's painful for you.
Strongarm
She was definitely more harsh on you when you first met. As far as she was concerned you were just a civilian that got dragged into this mess, but she didn't dislike you as much as she did with sideswipe.
She thought you were gullible and slowing them down until she realized how crafty you were. She often watched how you partook in "arts and crafts" while watching over Russel but didn't bother to think how clever you were (at least in the situations you were actually in)
She grew more fond of you, especially after you got lost in the forest trying to find her and sideswipe after they had another disagreement. After they both cooled down and returned to base they realized that you've still been gone and it was already nightfall.
Eventually she went out to look for you but was shocked when she found you. You looked different, she almost confused you for a con in the dark. She noticed the change in your body language and voice, you sounded more quiet. You told her to keep your little change a secret and she did.
She honestly prefers your sun to your moon form. You were always cheerful and lively that seeing you so docile and quiet made her nervous. That and when she saw the way you had practically flipped a con like it was nothing.
When she met your eclipse form she approached you with more curiosity, asking if you were feeling well. You explained that you were okay but your heightened stress would often have you revert back to this.
She's understanding of your personalities and has enjoyed having you as her friend, especially when you talk to her about something new from earth.
Sideswipe
Oh boy where to begin. He didn't mind your presence but didn't seem interested to get to know you. He was all about action but he knew you weren't a total buzzkill.
After a while you ended up becoming his voice of reason, like a friend that was watching out over him and Russel if they were getting into more dangerous activities.
He enjoyed hanging out with you a ton, finding himself participating in any activities you were doing with Russel and Denny. He warmed up to you easily with your enthusiasm yet caring personality.
His jaw practically hit the floor when he saw your moon from, the way you threw that Decepticon like they were nothing had him flabbergasted. "Since when can you do that!?"
He was freaked out at first but then was practically beaming at how awesome you were. He found your moon form more calming to be around especially at night. He was more than happy to give your form a chance but he also wanted you to take down more cons (he wanted to see you go berserk again)
Then he saw your eclipse form and he couldn't decide how he was feeling about you, on one hand, this was another one of your surprises but on the other you were more sure of yourself and also helping out more in this form.
He's happy to call you his friend, especially when he convinces you to do something reckless with him. bumblebee always scolds him for being a bad influence, but in his opinion a little fun never hurt anyone.
Grimlock
When he first saw you he thought you were funny looking, in a good way! He loved the way your personality reflected the way you looked. You were like a little sun!
He was definitely 100% on board with anything you wanted to do. You always made up new ways to have fun. He did feel bad about arts and crafts though, he wasn't too careful and he'd more often than that break his creation, but you always comforted him and encouraged him forward.
The night the con had escaped its pod he practically had a heart attack as he saw you charge at the con, before sighing in relief when you successfully knocked them out. He was cheering loudly for you as you were attacking the con, telling you to go all out.
Other than that he liked your moon form, not only were you great at fighting but you became more caring and calm. He was actually the one that discovered your music box and at night would often ask for you to play it. (It helps him relax a lot, especially because it's also with you)
This man was so shocked seeing your eclipse form. He would often joke around with you about how you kept it a secret. You were amazing in your eclipse form, you kept your knowledge and strength in fighting but you were also a great teammate, he'd love to go on missions more with you.
He's honestly a sweetheart with you and gets along well with any form you're in.
Fixit
He was more amazed at your appearance. He wasn't used to seeing many bots but you were so different and stylized.
You were more understanding with his glitching, more often than not laughing to yourself at his mix up. You also were happy to befriend him more than the others. He believed it was because you didn't have much experience seeing a minicon.
Then he saw your moon from and was practically gushing at you. He had never seen another bot do whatever you just did! The personality changes gave it away that you were different from any regular bot.
He ended up trying to do some research, it's not that you were a different bot entirely. His conclusions led him to believe that something in your past caused this spilt in your personality.
He felt more safe around you whenever you stayed behind to look after the base when bumblebee had left for a mission, trusting that your moon side could protect them.
When he saw eclipse he was practically speechless. It made him ask all sorts of questions on why you were like this. You ended up being a bit vulnerable and explaining that you weren't sure why you were made like this and that you were sorry if this all made him upset.
He reassured you that he didn't think any less of you because of it, he actually compared it to his glitching. It wasn't regular but it made you both unique.
He's very warm and friendly towards you, he likes having you around, especially when you include him in whatever you're working on. He always ends up having a blast and he feels lucky to have a friend like you!

Hiii, kinda in honor of the holiday season I wanted to share a little sitcom episode type story idea for my au that idk what to do with lol
The general idea is that is some sort of Christmas special that is divided in 2 or 3 subplots. Bon's, Julian's and mayyyybe Bonnie's.
The chapter starts from bon's perspective, who is very excited about going to this shopping day, while his parents are in the back with pretty tired faces (this tradition of doing one big trip to buy as many things as possible was made bc neither of the parents like going shopping, so they do all big purchases on one day. Bon grew up to genuinely like this tradition unlike his parents). At some point he is left to wander around the mall and that's when he sees Julian and Bonnie at the arcade.
Julian notices bon first and chats him up. He and Bonnie are "grinding" for tickets at the arcade, he doesn't know what for, but he's got nothing better to do right now; he says that he just happened to find Bonnie at this arcade today by chance, since he was here just to get out of the house (since this is connected to the au's storyline, atp Julian has "separated" himself from the animatronics, also, the context of being the holiday break could be used as a way to say that some of the other characters are out of town to visit relatives or whatever), and adds that Bonnie looks kinda weird -upset, maybe??- but that beyond that they were chilling(not something he'd say but you get the idea)
Bon gets worried about Bonnie (btw this is bxb) and decides that, since he's already buying stuff, he should get Bonnie a present to make him feel better, leaving promptly to find that gift, not before telling Julian to keep an eye on Bonnie, and to meet again after some time, and to bring Bonnie with him.
Now the perspective changes to Julian, who goes back to where Bonnie is. B mentions that she's getting hungry and that maybe it's time to go home, since they're not even enjoying the arcade anyways. Julian stops her (keeping in mind bon's plan) and invites her to have lunch somewhere in the mall with him, so they can chat and whatnot. Bonnie begrudgingly agrees and they both go look for someplace to eat.
They're now sitting at a booth eating whatever, each of them in their own heads, it's an awkward situation. Julian decides it's better to break the ice somehow (though he's somewhat aware that Bonnie isn't very fond of him) and asks Bonnie why were they in the mall, Bonnie gets put off by this and doesn't respond, it gets quiet for a while until Julian says he was at the mall bc he was alone at his house, his parents where away for vacation and that he basically had to be dragged out of his bed by Jeffrey, who then told him that he could "at least go out for a day", and yada yada -note: not feeling like making dialogue rn srry-. Julian rambles for a while, not caring of wether Bonnie is paying attention to him or not;.. until they respond. Julian, of course, gets a little stunned by this, and then, something more strange happens, Bonnie actually starts to open up! Long story short -again don't feel like thinking of dialogue- the reason Bonnie's waiting at the mall is bc their mom was supposed to meet them there that day, but truth to be told, bun already knew that his mom wouldn't get there, as this situation had already happened a lot of times before. (Bonnie was abandoned by his mom when they were younger, left to be taken care of by his aunt) Still, bun was always made to go to the mall, alone, every year in the same date "just in case" and every year their mom would cancel last minute. Bonnie explains that they came to hate the holiday season bc it always felt like a reminder of that false promise. Then Bonnie gets to the conclusion that Christmas ain't shit, and that it feels good to finally get that out of her system, and thanks Julian for sticking with them, that surprisingly she had a good time with him (Julian gets weirded out by the "surprisingly"), then they get back to playing.
-note again, bon's A plot changes to him looking for Bonnie's present, and the two stories have breaks to show what the other guy it's doing, y'know how it goes but I'm not feeling like pacing a story lol-
(There's a joke that Bon finally settles on a gift and celebrates, then his mom asks him what he's getting Julian -since he's his friend too- and he goes like đ¨)
At the end, Bon meets again with Julian and Bonnie to give them their presents, Bonnie opens his gift, a how-to-play guitar book, and a silly hat (picture those bunny hat from 2020-2021) Bonnie looks pretty excited from these, and then, gives Bon the prize from the arcade, some big bootleg ugly plushie, that, weirdly enough, Bon seems to like. Then they start talking about whatever, and Julian quietly steps back to give them space, and thinks about calling Jeffrey so he can go back home. Before he can say goodbye,Bon calls to him, to give him a present, which is a small box topped with a little golden bow. Inside of it is a fancy fountain pen in it's case. (It's a gift from a store after spending a certain amount of money). Then, Bonnie steps in to give him something too. A small light-up keychain (also a prize from the arcade), Julian is stunned by the gifts -note: I'm not sure of what the gifts are exactly, but they are thoughtful somehow- and thanks both of them profusely, both for the gifts, and Bonnie for spending time with him, Bonnie thanks him in return, and they all spend some more time talking before going to their own places. Happy to have met their friends at that mall
#fnafhs#:*3#bon fnafhs#bonnie fnafhs#golden fnafhs#golden/julian stuff#you can read this as ship or not. whatever#just getting the idea out there. i had it for a while. as a narrative story (to develop the julian-bonnie dynamic)#this seemed like a good way to do so. well. as good as it gets when you make most of it at like 2-4 am lmao

Hi Naff! A question: so I was talking with @chaotikanvas, and she mentioned that there's an Sleuth Jesters AU in which Sun and Moon stayed with Eclipse after he became a Mob Boss, and in which he spoils them both because they're his family and now he has the power to do so. That's roughly how she explained it to me, so now I am REQUIRED to ask:
Can you tell me more about this AU?
Where can I read more about it, if there have been posts about it? (Like, how do I look for it?)
I love this AU idea because it so wholesome (even if Eclipse uses the wrong methods to show his love for his family). It has already sparked so MUCH inspiration in me!
As always, keep being the awesome person you've always been!
P.S: I believe I once read that you kind of had an AU idea about Sun, Moon, and Eclipse being faes and Y/N accidentally entering their territory. Are you going to make a fanfic about this AU? (No pression, just curious!)
Heya, babe! Ahhh, it's been a hot minute since this AU has popped up and I'm so happy you enjoy it!
Yes, it's called Our Vigilante and this tag is the gist of it (I tried finding my initial post talking about it but searching through my tumblr without a specific tag is like looking for a needle in a haystack so you'll have to bear with me alsdjfas)
More or less, the AU explores the dynamic of the celestial brothers staying close and taking care of each other with the added dilemma of Sun and Moon being conscientious objectors to their older brother's criminal empire but regardless, still benefiting from Eclipse's illegal activities. It's a standoff but the brothers work and live together, though Sun and Moon are very much sheltered from the bloodier side of things.
The vigilante sets their sights on Sun and Moon and intends to use them as stepping stones to finding a way to take out Eclipse's gang from the inside out, but with their seduction of the younger brothers, the vigilante discovers that Sun and Moon are quite charming and sweet and desperately trying to hide the fact that they're technically gangsters (which makes Y/N laugh). It's a bit complicated with the vigilante well aware of Sun's and Moon's relation to the mafia boss but the boys are doing everything they can to convince this seemingly lovely little person that they're just average, totally not mobsters, animatronics.
Lots of shenanigans and hijinks ensue. The vigilante catches feelings while growing worst about 'seducing' these brothers whom they are actually growing to truly care about. Sun and Moon become wild with worry that their beau will figure out that they're not so squeaky clean and turn away from them, but, everyone's got secrets, some not so well kept, and others neatly tucked away.
Meanwhile, Eclipse and the vigilante are still at each other's throats but will drop anything at a dime if Sun or Moon are in trouble and need to be bailed out. The vigilante loathes having to work with the mafia boss, but they'll hold their tongue just until they know for certain that one of their favorite gangsters is safe and sound. Eclipse, of course, is not one to squander opportunities and uses every second he has to convince the vigilante to join him.
Eclipse wants the vigilante, and discovering that they have a fondness for his younger brothers is a pretty tool of leverage he deems fit to use as he wantsâand Y/N will agree with him, one way or the other.
~
As for the Fae AU, I'd love to write a fanficâI've already got a few different ideas for it now, and how to go about it! I still gotta get the last episode of Cryptid Sightings out and then tackle Deep Dreams 2, but mmm, I'd love to maybe write a first chapter just to get it out there!
So many things to write, so little time
#love a chance to ramble about another sleuth jesters au hehe thanks!#the fae one is going to be so magical and fun#and of course our vigilante is just a bizarre game of we know but they don't but we have to play nice for their sake alsdfjasld#sleuth jesters#our vigilante#fae au

Because I'm thinking about him.
Have some Record Scratch AU DJ Music Man headcanons.
- Going with the implied lore of the game, DJMM was not designed in house, and was instead bought. His AI is a lot more straightforward and simple, but still pretty advanced and has some learning capabilites.
- DJMM doesn't have a voice, but he can play beats and noises at certain frequencies to give himself a voice. It's kind of harsh to listen to, but staff who work with him frequently have adjusted and can understand him without issue.
- Building off that, DJMM will emit certain noises and songs when he's trying to indicate distress or get the attention of his Handlers.
- DJMM has two Handlers. Their job is to more or less to keep people off of him, do small things, and just watch for signs of malfunction. They don't do much else besides repair and make sure he's charged for the day.
- DJMM does most of the clean up in his area throughout the day.
- DJMM is petty. It was a learned habit that has worked it's way into his coding. He will remember anyone that slighted him.
- DJMM is also very polite to everyone else. The animatronics enjoy stopping by him during the night for a chat. They can more easily understand his beat language so he doesn't have to stress himself out forming full words
- The only animatronic DJMM isn't super fond of is Roxanne, but it's more so because he would do sea shanties with Foxy, and it doesn't feel the same with Roxanne. She hasn't told him about Foxy still in with her. She hasn't told anyone.
- DJMM has a number of access ports around the building. They more or less use DJMM's cleaning functions around the Pizzaplex.
- The 'Bouncer Mode' is still an experimental function within DJMM, and completely forbidden to be used. Staff have no idea what it could do, but assume it's a territory protection mode. But don't know how wide that territory extends to.
- DJMM is aware of the mode, knows what it can do, but tells staff he doesn't know what it does. He more or less just doesn't want to scare anyone. Though he can access the programing to see what it does, he can't activate it.
- Despite his size, DJMM is pretty mindful of the humans and bots around him.
- Has the ability to save his songs onto flash drives or disc's if someone really vibes with one he just made. Just gotta go up and ask a Handler and they'll get one printed out right away.
- DJMM is quite fond of Freddy as he is friendly and goes out of his way to come and see DJMM

I created a new DCA AU!
Itâs basically an AU where Sun and Moon be part of the mafia and they are, like, in their 40s and kind of old school meaning they arenât fond of the newest generation of animatronics.
(Excuse the clothes, I suck at them)
Sun is the big boss, acting cold, strict and a bit cruel to those who donât follow the rules and only being mildly caring to currently one person, who is Moon who is his right hand man, he is silent, unpredictable and loyal to his brother but also has a soft, gentle and caring side.
And here we have the lil complications Sun and Moon have recently acquired. These are Dusk and Dawn, some new generation animatronic twins who ended up in the Celestial Brothersâ possession. Not sure how they would have gotten them, still working out stuff cause I literally JUST made this AU. I am not sure which one I should call Dusk and who to call Dawn so rn Imma call them Boy and Girl. Boy is the one with the lower ponytail, a bit of a crybaby, clingy and hates loud noises while his sister, Girl, is the one with the high ponytail and the complete opposite of her twin, she is bold, chaotic and is the loudest lil thing she is.
Moon was assigned to keep an eye on them so the twins warm up to him sooner and he warms up to them as well while Sun doesnât really like them at first.
This AU is a WIP but I wanted to share the concepts cause why the hell not? I find it fun. Donât know what to call it just yet so itâll be referred to as Mafia Children AU for the time being.

So decided to share some Lore about my main Oc, Void:
So basic backstory:
They are one of the creations of the Creator before Sun and Moon, however unlike the past attempts the Creator used Void as more of an experiment, using a power Core composed of Anti-matter (what a WitherStorm is made of) and implanting it into the bots chest as a power source, and of course these had certain effects, such as making them partly organic, such as resulting in them having a fully organic rib cage, a tongue and saliva, and with some nano-machines, an artificial stomach able to process any and all Materials.
When Void first activated they were put into the care of their handler, Cathryn, a young women who had only recently started working at the Pizzaplex. Void was assigned to the Daycare theatre and left to adapt.
Cathryn showed them all the ropes, and soon Void caught on to the routine and was soon doing their job like it was already programmed into their code. Soon they grew so fond of Cathryn they had registered them as âMotherâ, which she did not mind in the slightest.
Although, once Void has properly assimilated into their Job at the Theatre entertaining the kids, the Creator put his real plan into action. While Void and Cathryn were preparing for the next rush if kids the Creator activated a dormant administration code inside of Void, cause them to become a brain dead robot, Cathryn walked over to see what was wrong, and with just a click of a button on the Creators end, Cathryn was dead by Voids hands. And once Void came to they were horrified to have seen what they had done, looking at their bloodied hands in shock and horror.
Security soon rushed in and shut them down, soon awakening again in parts and services where they were violently dismantled and used for parts while still active, after the many hours of agony they were dumped into an alleyway and left to die. Void unfortunately died on that stormy night, however a relatively large size changing Water Dragon animatronic, named Angler, had found them and taken them into a secret factory sized room hidden in the maintenance tunnels of the pizzaplex, where he had been taking in and hiding all the discarded and scrapped animatronics thrown out by the Pizzaplex, and Void was brought back to life from a strong infusion of Nano-machines.
Void soon settled in with their now adoptive father and siblings, however still lived in fear of being controlled again.
One day they went to far with their anxiety and snuck into parts and services while the Staff were on break, and used the computer to enter their own systems and forcefully delete any access codes the creator put in them along with their factory reset, this resulted in their code becoming highly unstable, resulting in their Ai becoming corrupted, all safety protocols off and gone.
When Void returned Angler immediately knew what they had done, and he also knew that damage like this could never be fixed, but he supported them and did his best to comfort them the best he could, but one thing he couldnât stop was Voids newfound hatred and bloodlust towards humans.
Fun facts:
- before Voids system corruption their eyes actually used to be green.
- Void hates all humans but tolerates curtain humans that have gotten on their good sideâŚâŚâŚand children.
- the purple eyes mean they are either hunting, or have completely lost it and you need to run.
- the oval shaped power core in their chest is not only able to store a copy of their memories and personality, but also acts as a 3rd eye.
- their power core is made of the same stuff that Witherstorms are made of.
- like Sun and Moon, Voids nanites can regenerate them, but at a more advanced and quicker pace
- they CAN and WILL Eat anything.
- they can sprout 4 or more barbed black tendrils from their back if they want to.
- at some point they found out they can digitise their physical form and control technology
- they have a secondary jaw that can move independently like an eel

jumbled f.naf movie thoughts under the cut. proceed with caution because these are ALL spoilers!!
okay i am taking the idea that mike is not related to william and RUNNING. yes, that is mike Schmidt, but still?? there's the weird abby factor too, but i'm thinking so hard abt tossing aside the name because of her similarities to charlie. that LOOKS like kid charlie, not elizabeth, and considering how impeccable the casting was otherwise, i can't help thinking that was intentional? also god the misleads on the names were CRAZY. (remember when we thought "hank" was henry???)
i might take my lore-manipulation even Further and say, given everything, that mike IS mike, vanessa IS vanessa, and abby is a parallel for charlie. there's some book parallels sprinkled in the movie (there's actually a ton that, as a book appreciator (until tftp...), i love) BUT i am thinking especially about the reference to the kids believing spring bonnie is their Friend & how abby fixed their perspective / made them realize who their killer was via drawings. carlton did that in the books iirc, but the connection to charlie and Her Story is there? they also have a brother who went missing when mike was younger and like, that reminded me hardcore of sammy in the books. he was kidnapped, mike couldn't stop it, and he keeps replaying his own memories to try and fix it- just like how, once she remembers sammy exists, charlie references the closet he was taken from multiple times.
ALSO ALSO they have an aunt jane, and i KNOW, i'm stretching, but charlie has an aunt jen in the books. their personalities would be different to some extent (jen was absent & borderline neglectful because she Knew the truth about charlie, whereas jane straight-up wants custody of abby for Greed reasons), but that's still an aunt neither of them are fond of?
also yeah i think this movie is almost like the books in that it is not main canon, but a parallel that is supposed to help you find answers about game lore. that's why vanessa is there, despite that making the timeline Wack, but still has the same overall character. i'm also super supportive of the idea that mike schmidt is NOT michael from sister location because he would also just be a good standalone character.
i actually love the twist of william being vanessa's dad. iirc vanessa also referred to her dad as "bill" in the retro cds, which made me yell abt connected dots. i know that'd fuck up the timeline if it was real in canon, but like.....i adore william being a dad that she is trying to fight against. i think, on the whole, it's meant to represent william acting as a controlling father figure in game canon. it's also representative of vanessa's overall struggle against him, hence her being a "reluctant follower." i love movie vanessa. she got more screentime than game vanessa........
i ADORE the animatronics being portrayed as friends (to kids at least), which is how i always saw them. i also love the nod to william having influence over them bc again, they trusted spring bonnie in the books until they were shown the truth.
BALLOON BOY. straight-up he was the character who jumpscared the most and it was SO funny. i love that balloon boy figurine, i want him in my house Now
my husband (who only knows fnaf through osmosis) and i agree that susie's dog is possessing the cupcake. they made a joke about susie having a pet that somehow inhabits the cupcake now and it gave me a stupid epiphany - william almost definitely killed her dog (points at "toy chica: the high school years") so like...what if dog = cupcake?? that's why it's so damn FERAL (but also protective :'))
the credits.......whoever (on twitter before i left it) said they'd cringe if the movie had "five nights at freddy's" by the living tombstone in the credits was so fucking wrong. i was already mad abt that comment but like, with how much of a love letter this movie is to the series as a whole, it's even better that they got the song from the peak of fnaf's recognition. it's super nostalgic to me as somebody who has been with these games from the beginning. i remember first hyperfixating on fnaf and having a spotify playlist that was JUST the living tombstone's fnaf song. and now i have a playlist of 500+ fnaf fansongs y'know!!!!
ok those are the biggest things i got on my first watch. i know for a fact i am going to watch this multiple times so watch out for possible updates!!!! i'm also probably going to post this several days out because it literally JUST released and i don't want to overwhelm anyone (bc god , the reason i watched asap was because of how terrified of spoilers i was).
#fnaf movie spoilers /#animal death ment //#ask to tag /#{ SERIOUSLY PLS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE }#đŹ || áľĘłáľ áľ áľáľáľáľ ĘłáľáľáľĘ¸ áś áľĘł áś ĘłáľáľáľĘ¸Ë (queue.) || đŹ#đŹ || the truth is hard to swallow. (ramblings.) || đŹ

An Overly Long Rant Concerning Sun from FNAF: HW2
I donât normally do these kinds of rants, but I wanted to get something very silly and unimportant off my chest. When I found out that Sun was going to be in Help Wanted 2, I was both super excited to see more of my favorite boy and nervous that they would make someâŚundesirable changes to him. I mean, I already knew Moon was going to be in the game, and I wasnât concerned too much about him, as heâs already aggressive. And then thereâs Sun. He has a whole minigame dedicated to him. And I know how these minigames end if you get a game over. So whatâŚare we finally going to get an actually fatal jumpscare from Sun? Is my dear, sweet ball of sunshine going to finally outright murder someone when heâs remained one of the only animatronics in the series that never kills you?
Well, in Sunâs jumpscare, he has red eyes, so maybe Moonâs starting to take over at this point? I dunnoâŚeven Glamrock Freddy kills you, and I still love him, so maybe thatâs fine. Plus, one of his quotes implies he remembers you, so canonically, I guess you can lose the game and not die. Anway, what bothers me the most is Sunâs personality. I just feel like something isâŚoff about him, yâknow.
Most people like that Sun has become more sassy, but I seem to be one of the few people who isnât too fond of the changes they made to his personality. I want to make it clear that I donât have a problem with Sun having depth. In fact, I prefer it that way. Itâs just that a lot of Sunâs appeal to me was that he was sweet and kind. He just struggled with anxiety and could get a bit crabby when people donât follow the rules. Thatâs not a flat âperfect angel that can do no wrongâ type of character. Itâs just a character with a good heart and good intentions who also has flaws. Moody and sassy is one thing. In fact, a lot of this new side of Sunâs personality matches my headcanon for him fairly well.
I mean, Iâve always felt that Sun was the type to give someone the silent treatment if he was especially mad at them. It would probably be short-lived, but I donât think heâs exactly above being childish and grumpy, like a normally well-behaved kid whoâs had a particularly bad day.
In HW2, Sun getting aggravated when you do a bad job or purposely mess with him makes sense. That fits the Sun we already knew. As an example, he gets very aggravated at Cassie if she reaches him in Ruin without turning on even a single generator, saying, âNo, turn ON the generators! Why arenât you listening?â (Not to mention an even more obvious exampleâŚangrily banning Gregory from the Daycare, an action I have always strongly defended.) He clearly doesnât like when his instructions are ignored, which makes sense for someone who needs to keep naughty kids in check. I mean, of course heâs going to get pretty ticked if he tells a kid not to eat glitter glue, and they do it anyway, just like a parent would get angry at a child for running into the street after being warned a million times not to do so. Itâs his job to keep the kids safe, so if someone is thwarting his efforts to do his job properly, heâs going to get mad, both because he cares about the kids and because it reflects poorly on him. (Plus, he has the added stress of possibly getting decommissioned if he does a bad job, but the implications of that donât fit with the scope of this post, so...)
Iâm also okay with Sun telling you to go away, both in his sad little song in Ruin and in HW2 because heâs depressed and just wants to be left alone. Again, that doesnât make Sun a bad person. Some people just donât want to be bothered if theyâre upset or in a bad mood. And a little bit of rudeness is understandable under certain circumstances, and Iâd say Sunâs situation, where heâs fighting with a second, very aggressive personality that has full control when the lights are out, makes this behavior very justified.
And sure, I can understand that Sun might be more rude and impatient with staff (though he calls you a âbad kidâ, which seems odd as you shouldnât be a kid, plus I donât see Sun yelling at the kids and calling them âbadâ like that). I like to think that Sun is sweet and (mostly) patient with the kids (the ones who donât really push his buttons). Nevertheless, while some of his dialogue can be dismissed as being annoyed at a grown adult for messing up or doing dumb things that an adult shouldnât be doing, I canât get over the fact that some of his comments feel outrightâŚ
Mean. Yes, mean. Iâm okay with Sun being moody, childish, and easily irritated when heâs being ignored or mistreated. But I never, not in a million years, ever thought that âmeannessâ would be a trait Iâd ever associate with Sun. But thatâs seriously how he came across when he tells you that your art is âbadâ, or it âstinksâ, or how it makes him âfeel dumberâ just by looking at it. That just feels totally uncalled for. Or his random little line at the beginning of Moonâs carousel level (dude, stop hogging the spotlight; Moon deserves some love, too) where he says that, if it was up to him, he would have fixed the carousel by now. I know thatâs certainly not the worst thing for someone to say. It just felt totally unprovoked and out of nowhere. I mean, you had just started the minigame at this point. Where was Sunâs crappy attitude even coming from?
Heâs also rather pretentious in this game, as well, another new trait I'm not too fond of. I donât think Sun has to be super humble or even self-deprecating, but this level of arrogance seems more befitting of Roxy or Monty, not Sun.
Maybe Iâm nitpicking over a few lines of dialogue when the majority of it doesnât even contradict the Sun Iâve already had in my head. Itâs just that those certain lines of dialogue feel so very out of character and make Sun look like a mean-spirited, cold-hearted creep when the Sun I thought I knew was sweet and kindhearted and gentle. (It would be like Glamrock Freddy getting really mean out of nowhere for 10% of his dialogue. It would be really confusing and jarring!) I mean, I sure hope he never says any of those things to the kids! Heâd make them cry!
Sun was just my little ray of sunshine. Even in my headcanon, he was definitely not a perfect angel. (If youâre interested in a little bit of insight into a fan fic Iâm writing, please check out another post Iâm writing soon.) And considering some stuff Iâve been going through in recent months, I really needed a sweetheart like him in my life, even if heâs fictitious. Now it feels like Iâm seeing a decidedly ugly new side of a close friend, making me question who this person was this whole time.
I just read another post that I reblogged where someone was concerned that weâd lose the softer, sweeter Sun that many of us had grown to love. I had the very same fear. Just before, I scrolled through countless pieces of new fan art where Sun is being unkind to children over their mediocre art skills. I know people are just interested in this new side of Sun that weâve never seen before, but I hope sweet Sun isnât going away.
This is why I was concerned about Sunâs inclusion in HW2. Before, we had just a small insight into his character, leaving plenty of room for interpretation. Now, I feel like his personality is becoming more set in stone, and soon enough, there wonât be any wiggle room left to fill in the gaps unless someone wants to outright ignore canon. Sure, I can write Sun any way I want, but I prefer him to be as accurate as possible to the games, and now I no longer like canon-Sun as much as I used to.
On a more positive note, a lot of Sunâs new dialogue is very funny, and Kellen Goff delivers them perfectly! I love his adorable giggles and I'm particularly fond of the lines related to you getting ulcers and indigestion from eating the supplies. I'm also happy that Sun stands up for himself when you mess with him. It's good to see he doesn't let people take advantage of him. I guess I just find it so weird that Sun is surprisingly polite (even if clearly annoyed) when you're purposely bring a jerk to him, and then he gets randomly mean when you simply paint a picture wrong. Seriously, did someone else write this portion of the dialogue?
Okay, the way I see it, my Sunâs still a good boy. Heâs just not as oblivious as we all were led to believe, as heâs probably more than aware of how crappy adults can be and deeply dislikes them. I'm just going to believe that he was having a bad day in HW2 and leave it at that. Because I really want to believe that Sun is genuinely a friendly and sweet guy who loves the kids and just canât stand adults. I mean, his little sad song in Ruin definitely implies that he misses the Daycare and doing arts and crafts with the kids. He himself has clearly drawn a bunch of pictures in glitter glue (I just donât see those being Moonâs) and has kidsâ drawings hanging up in their room. That doesn't sound like someone who hates working with kids or who would look upon a child's drawing, no matter how bad it is, with disdain.
TLDR: Most people prefer Sunâs new sassy personality in Help Wanted 2. I just felt like he came across as mean, and I donât feel like it matched his personality in Security Breach and Ruin. I know Sun can be anxious, childish, and bad-tempered. I donât expect him to be a perfect angel. I just donât like how mean he can be in HW2, especially when it feels unprovoked.

Quick idea:what if Cassieâs dad was Sammy Emily?
Cassie has the bare minimum of being related to an Emily twin(brown hair) and even then she could always take after her mom
Cassieâs dad is a technician, aka someone who would work very close with the animatronics, aka someone who must know a thing or two about them, maybe coming in the form of a father....perhaps?
Heâs the only Emily that has a prominent role in the books, but hasnât appeared one way or another in the games
He does have a reason to be in the pizzaplex,as this IS his fatherâs franchise.
This is very minor but itâs said in the books that thereâs a foxy endo in the Emily place.i know itâs actually hot Charlie but this what if he still has it,leading Cassie to gain a fondness for foxy, and leading to her favorite animatronic being Roxy.
We know nothing about him so thereâs no proving or disproving about bonnie being his favorite
It checks out he might collect old fazbear merch,as he might have a fondness for the franchise.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Pack, S01E06
Tonightâs episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is brought to you by the metaphor: peer pressure and bullying. Iâm actually rather fond of âThe Packâ, even though itâs a middling episode, simply because I had the novelization of it as a pre-teen. My parents would buy me those cheap Buffy and Charmed tie-in paperbacks to keep me occupied on summer camping trips, and Iâve fond memories of reading them in the sun.
But are we really getting two Xander-centric episodes before we get even one of Willow? At least this oneâs better than âTeacherâs Pet.â
It opens at Sunnydale Zoo. Who knew that Sunnydale had a zoo? Itâs a place that weâll never visit again, so try not to think about the fact that all these animals were probably killed when the town gets fully destroyed in six years.
The high school is on a field-trip, and Buffy is approached by four mean kids who bully her in the bizarre sort of way that only fictional bullies do. I mean, âcareful â she might beat you up!â Dude, what?
According to the script (and my novelization) this quartet of troublemakers are known as Kyle, Heidi, Tor and Rhonda, though I think only Kyle is called by name on-screen. Of more interest is the fact that Kyle is played by Eion Bailey, who is still working regularly and is probably best known to genre fans as August/Pinocchio in Once Upon a Time. Jennifer Sky is also present, someone who is not working regularly, but who you might recognize as Amarice from Xena Warrior Princess.
The bullies move on to torturing another student called Lance Lincoln, who is makes the difficult call not to snitch on his tormentors when Principal Flutie turns up. Kyle pretends to be impressed by this and they drag poor Lance into the hyena house, which has been cordoned off. Buffy, Xander and Willow see them at it, and Xander takes the lead in going to the rescue of a fellow perceived-loser.
Buffy and Willow are about to follow when theyâre stopped by a zookeeper (heâs never named either, but his nametag identifies him as Doctor Weirick) who gives the girls some creepy exposition on why exactly the hyena house has been fenced off. Theyâre fresh from Africa and are in quarantine, but are said to have the ability to understand human speech. Theyâve been known to call out a personâs name to lure them away from the safety of their campfires, at which point, their unlucky victim is devoured.
Yeah, this episode has some âdarkest Africaâ vibes that havenât aged particularly well, but itâs not too bad. The person doing the most cultural appropriation is the bad guy, after all.
Inside the enclosure, some very dodgy-looking hyena animatronics (?) note the arrival of the bullies, Lance and (soon after) Xander. A scuffle unfolds as Xander comes to Lanceâs defence, and as he makes a run for it, the hyenas seem to entrance everyone that remains, a green light glowing in each pair of eyes â including Xanderâs.
That night at the Bronze heâs acting agitated and mildly aggressive, much to the confusion of Willow and Buffy. As soon as Kyle and the rest of the Pack arrives, the stare-a-thon begins (and honestly, Iâm a little surprised more slash fiction wasnât written about these two) though the girls arenât remotely impressed when Xander chuckles along at a joke made at the expense of another student.
The next day at school weâre introduced to poor doomed Herbert the school mascot: a piglet thatâs dressed up as a Razorback (established as the basketball team back in âWitch). Principal Flutie is pretty excited about it, and weâre treated to him giving a lecture on the lack of school spirit in his students to Buffy, the girl who saves peopleâs lives on a daily basis. The main purpose of the scene seems to be establishing that something is up with Xander when he strolls by and Herbert reacts with squealing terror.
Ah, the dodgeball scene. Once again it serves to showcase Xanderâs increasingly aggressive tendencies (as well as Buffyâs physical prowess since sheâs the only one left standing on her own team) but the whole thing is stolen by Coach Harrold, who (as far as I know) only appears in this single episode, but gets three of its funniest lines (see below).
After some hyena-esque giggling at having turned on their own teammate and pounding him with dodgeballs (itâs poor Lance again), the Pack go on a slow-motion prowl through the Sunnydale courtyards, which culminates in them finding poor defensive Herbert in his cage. And theyâre hungry...
Giles is rather uncharacteristically brushing off Buffyâs concerns about Xander by telling her that heâs behaving like a typical sixteen-year-old boy, though he comes around when Willow arrives with news that Herbert has been found eaten. Buffy twigs that all this started when Xander and the bullies entered the hyena enclosure, and the research party begins.
This next scene is... a lot. Blaming the Pack for poor Herbertâs death, a furious Principal Flutie calls Kyle, Heidi, Rhonda and Tor into his office, where he quickly loses control of the situation. Weâre at least spared the sight of him being cannibalized on-screen, but I feel desperately sorry for the poor guy as the now-feral bullies advance on him. Being literally eaten is an extremely gruesome and terrifying way to die, and is quite possibly one of the cruelest deaths on the show.
Xander isnât present when this goes down, which is a bit of a cheat â but then, I canât say Iâm sorry that they spared one of our main characters from committing murder and cannibalism, even if he was possessed at the time. And itâs not like heâs peacefully sleeping under a tree during all this either; rather, he corners Buffy in an empty classroom and assaults her.
As with the attack on Flutie, the act isnât shown in any great detail, and I suspect Buffy got the drop on him pretty quickly after the scene cuts away, as she doesnât seem to be particularly rattled over what she explicitly describes as âfelony sexual assault.â (Then again, this was shot in the nineties, an era of television which was in no way equipped to handle this kind of subject matter. Heck, it still isnât more often than not).
Giles has narrowed the most likely explanation for Xanderâs behaviour down to a sect of animal worshippers known as the Primals, who can draw the spirits of certain predatory animals into themselves. Somehow Xander and the rest of the bullies seem to have undergone this ritual, so after locking him up in the book cage (the book cage! Being used as a holding cell for the first time!) Buffy and Giles head out to question the zookeeper on what he knows. Willow is left behind to guard Xander.
We get to see Willowâs steely side when Xander tries his hand at manipulation and plays the âus against the worldâ card, leaning on their shared history together â but Willow doesnât fall for it and Xander remains where he is.
Unfortunately, Buffy and Giles are in the midst of hearing from Doctor Weirick that if the Pack are separated, itâs only a matter of time before they try to find each other again. They come up with a hasty plan: to lure the Pack back to the school, where theyâll all attempt to restage the trans-possession ritual and get the hyena spirts back into the hyenas.
Thereâs an effective scene when the bullies advance on the library and start softly calling Willowâs name (ah, a chase through the Sunnydale High hallways in the afterhours â another staple of the show in its early years) and Buffy lures the Pack away, acting as bait while Giles and Willow rush back to the zoo to help prepare the ritual.
Thereâs a lot of backwards and forwarding in this episode, not to mention splitting up. Willow stays outside to wait for Buffy, which conveniently leaves Giles vulnerable when he goes into the enclosure and notices that the ritualistic symbol has already been painted on the floor â and has evidently been there for some time. The zookeeper has been trying to draw the hyena spirits into himself, only he missed one crucial step: a predatory act.
So Giles gets knocked out (not for the first, nor for the last time) and Willow rushes in when she hears Buffy coming, somewhat naively letting herself get tied up by Weirick with a knife held to her throat as âpart of the ritual.â But sheâs not so dumb that she doesnât shout a warning to Buffy when she comes in, and in a pretty perfect case of Hoisted by His Own Petard, the zookeeper shouts the incantation, draws the hyena spirits out from the teenagers and into himself, and then drops the knife to attack Willow with his bare teeth.
Xander, now himself again, rushes to her rescue, and after a brief tussle, Buffy throws the zookeeper into the hyena enclosure. As he said earlier, they havenât been fed.
This is actually rather funny, as in later episodes/seasons Buffy will make a HUGE deal out of how wrong it is to take human lives, but here has no qualms about essentially throwing this guy to his death. She does lunge after him in an attempt to save him, but hey â no biggie that she failed. The hyenas chow down and nobody ever mentions him again.
Also never mentioned again? The bullies and the fact theyâll presumably have memories of killing and eating a man. Thatâs going to require some serious counselling.
Xander feigns memory loss of the whole ordeal, and if the girls suspect that heâs fibbing, they take pity on him and let it go. Giles isnât fooled at all, but also promises to keep schtum. For the record, I very much think that apologies are necessary when wrong-doings are committed, but Iâm lenient when it comes to matters of brainwashing, outer body experiences, demonic possession, losing oneâs soul or exposure to red kryptonite â in other words, things that people arenât truly responsible for. Â Â
My point is, Xander isnât himself when he assaults Buffy, and is clearly so mortified at everything he did while under the hyenaâs sway that he tries to get himself off the hook with the amnesia fib... so Iâll give him a pass on this particular fabrication, as  ultimately itâs pretty low on his seven-year list of transgressions. Heâs way more culpable when it comes to that stupid love spell in season two.
Plus, we get a nice Giles/Xander scene out of it. Itâs clear that Giles is now becoming just as fond of Buffyâs friends as he is of Buffy herself.
This was a very simple story and a rather middling Monster of the Week episode, which in the grand scheme of things doesnât really do anything significant besides kill off Principal Flutie so that Snyder can take his place. The high school/teen drama metaphor was a bit obvious and there was so much padding (the slow-motion prowling, the extended dodgeball game, the completely extraneous scene of the young woman with her baby chancing upon the Pack at night before she just... turns and walks away) but it gave Nicholas Brendon a chance to stretch his acting muscles, and I liked the logistics of the spell (the comparison to demonic possession, the need for a predatory act to take place) and the zookeeper twist.
I feel like itâs a story that knew what it wanted to do, and ends up being precisely what it wanted to be â no more, no less.
Miscellaneous Observations:
This episode vibed with âTeacherâs Petâ not just because it was Xander-centric, but because itâs a story that really could have taken place anywhere (that is, it didnât need the proximity of the Hellmouth to happen). Unless of course the She-Mantis and the hyenas were deliberately drawn to the mystical energy of the township. Perhaps the zookeeper fully intended to use its power to supplement his ritual, and had the hyenas shipped there on purpose.
RIP Principal Flutie. You were clueless, but not evil â especially when compared to your replacement. And no one deserves to go out like that. Sheesh, I think victims of vampires die quicker and less painfully than Flutie did.
We never see the bullies or Lance again, though I like to believe they all made it to Graduation Day (with the likes of Blayne and Owen) and fought in the battle against the Mayor. Though I have to say Lance was a bit of an odd character. They set him up to be fairly important and then he just disappears halfway through the episode, when his role could have probably been filled by Willow.
I also enjoyed James Stephens as Doctor Weirick. He only had a couple of scenes, but he had an unassuming, helpful manner which effectively concealed his true nature. I remember watching this as a teenager and actually being disappointed that he was evil.
Also, this doesn't come up a lot, but Doctor Weirick is one of the few villains on the show that isn't a demonic or supernatural creature - just a human being trying to accumulate power.
During their research, Buffy mentions that Noah didnât want the hyenas on the Ark because he considered them an impure blend of cat and dog. This piqued my interest, and some basic Googling tells me this little factoid seems to have come from Sir Walter Raleighâs 1614 History of the World, where he also mentions that hyenas didnât need to be on the Ark, since the species could easily be reconstituted after the flood by breeding cats with dogs.
That guy who questions Xander about a guitarist at Sunnydale High (right before the Pack steal his lunch) looked familiar, and sure enough â it was the same guy who talked to Cordelia in the computer lab in âThe Harvest.â
Xanderâs genuine attraction to Buffy and (somewhat) understandable disappointment that she doesnât reciprocate once again turns eye-roll-y when he brings up Angel again. And this time it doesnât even make much sense when he says: âDangerous and mean, right? Like Angel. Your mystery guy.â Um, since when has Angel been mean? Jealousy does not look good on anyone, and itâs these moments where I most strongly hear Joss Whedonâs âwhy wonât girls date nice guys?â complaining.
However, I did like the fact that Buffy was initially the only one who really felt something was off about Xander. Willow has known him longer, but her lack of self-esteem makes her certain that sheâs the problem, while Giles handwaves the whole thing away with testosterone levels. (A part of me wonders if he was recalling his own delinquent youth). But in realizing that itâs something external, Buffy proves that she knows Xander quite well by this point. Or maybe her Slayer-sense is just tingling.
Poor Principal Flutie didnât get much of an obituary â just Giles looking sombre and Willow sitting down suddenly. Also, theyâre going to blame his death on wild dogs? Thatâs rough. And Giles is almost chipper when the girls point out that Xander wasnât involved, though I suppose itâs hard to know how on earth people would actually respond to the news that a man has just been eaten alive by highschoolers.
No Angel or Cordelia this time around, which isnât so surprising in the formerâs case since heâs still being credited as a guest star, but the latter is in the opening credits!
As far as audio effects go, I appreciated the high-pitched laughter and the growls in the back of the Packâs throats. That was very effective.
Best Line: Coach Harrod scores a hat trick: âit's raining, all regular gym classes have been postponed, so you know what that means: dodgeball,â âfor those of you that may have forgotten, the rules are as follows: you dodgeâ and âGod, this game is brutal. I love it!â Itâs all in the delivery. And as Iâve said before, the Sunnydale faculty must see some shit.
Best Scene: Willow showing her mettle when she faces down Xander in the book cage. There are hidden depths to her, just waiting to be plumbed.
Most Random Scene: When the Pack are out hunting and come across the Anderson family just leaving a party. The parents are arguing about whether or not Mr Anderson insulted his wife by paying his hostess a compliment, and little Joey is being instructed to chew before he swallows. Then they get attacked by hyena people.
We never see this family again, but like the real Miss French in âTeacherâs Pet,â I love seeing little glimpses of ordinary people living out their lives on the Hellmouth.
Death Toll: Herbert the pig (sorry animal lovers, but Iâm not going to count him in the grand total). Principal Bob Flutie. Doctor Weirick.
Grand Total: Twelve civilians, ten villains.

Freddy - 25 Bonnie - 26
Foxy - 27 Chica - 24
More about my AU
The four of them have been childhood friends since the 1980's but have grown apart for sometime around their teenage years, Freddy went to be a song writer and comedian, Bonnie went to engineering school and helped raise her younger brother (Monty), Chica was a baker for a while until passing it on to a friend, And Foxy was in the navy until he retired
All four of them find themselves at their childhood hang out place and ended up working there together, Their boss Mr. Afton was quite fond of his employees pleased by how good they were at their jobs (he's a pretty mysterious guy) and gave them a better opportunity at being the main entertainment in wearing the spring locked animatronic suits
William afton had his employees work their two separate jobs which was what they were good at, and being the people to wear the spring lock suits to entertain for shows they didn't mind it at all besides they were happy to still work with their passions
Mike is just a security guard working at nights often usually one of gang try to bring him into the friend group (mostly bonnie since she's the most gentle and motherly type) but he wasn't having it, usually he just wants to get paid to support his sisters education and to put food on the table, Mike is a bit of a tired guy but he's just trying to make sure he's doing his job and maybe have himself lose an additude or two
When Mike starts warming up to the gang he trusts one of them to babysit Abby in which they agree on, Bonnie and Chica sometimes likes to do make overs with abby or paint each others nails together, Abby always likes to tell stories about her imaginary friends and the adventures she has with them, Bonnie thinks it's cute, Chica is trying to follow along with it but likes it too
Abby can be a little off track for Freddy and Foxy but at least they try to entertain her by making pretend plays or Foxy telling stories about how he lost his arm, the arm part kinda confuses Abby a bit the first thing when they first met was "what happened to your arm?", Foxy at first was insecure about it but confident to share his navy stories with her (and on the side note since he retired he decided to grow his hair out)
Freddy had a crush on Bonnie since he was doing his song writing he couldn't stop thinking of how pretty she looked and how she acted back then and wondering how she looks now, Foxy wasn't sure on Chica since most of the time all she ever was to him was a kind friend at first figuring how grumpy he can be, but once he noticed her kindness towards him he actually started crushing on her a bit

The Disconnect
Hello! I decided to post this slightly older drabble here.Â
In Plutoâs DCA story, we will eventually learn sheâs actually the 4th incarnation, and the previous three ended up broken for one reason or another... This drabble is the story of how the first Pluto got decommissioned! This one hurt to reread.Â
So uh
TW: Angst, Hurt No Comfort, Animatronic Gore, Depersonilization, Major Character Death (well, decommissioning.)Â
"What would you do for love?"Â
In the silence, Pluto can hear the soft click of Moon's mechanical joints as his head tilts. He was on all fours, palms flat on the cool tile. Pluto wasn't supposed to be able to leave the daycare. That was supposed to be against her programming. Yet here she was. Parts and wires on the floor around her. The trash compactor behind her was still rumbling.Â
"What?" The lunar animatronic looks at the smaller model with blatant dislike. Pluto stares back at him, fists clenched.Â
"Love. Would you do anything for love?" Her voice is soft. Too soft for the way she looks now; surrounded by what is left of the iconic wolf animatronic that Sun was so fond of for whatever reason.Â
"Love⌠is not for things," Moon hissed softly. He stood to his full height. In the dark, the glow of his red eyes made his face look ghoulish. Something the children used to be unnerved by.Â
"Why can't it be?" Pluto clenched her fists and stomped her foot, bells jingling softly. Her harsh question echoed through the lifeless kitchen. Static cracked in her voicebox. Moon narrowed his eyes at her.
"You were built to watch children," Moon spat. His tone was cold and his words were sharp. "Abandon any silly notions you have. Sun will never love you. I will never love you. You are utterly alone." Moon's claws emerged. Pluto jumped back, whimpering in fright.
"No one loves a thing," Moon continued, "not how they'd love a person. Anyone who tells you otherwise only wants something from you."Â
Pluto shook her head hard, shutting her eyes. Her beret fell to the floor from the motion.Â
"No, no, that's not true! Maybe I was built for something different but I'm here now! And I should get to choose!" She stomped her foot again. Another static whine issued from her voicebox. "I'm not a thing! I feel-
Cruel laughter echoed through the room. Moon's faceplate did a full rotation before his face stopped at a tilt. Too far, too exaggerated for a human to mimic.Â
"Do you think anyone in this forsaken place cares how we feel?" Moon's bells jingled softly as he closed the distance. He shoved Pluto into the wall. His hands settled on either side of her head, trapping her.Â
That burning red gaze bore into her. Into the very deepest part of her. Pluto had always wanted to believe she had a soul. If that was true, Moon's hateful glare had burned right into it.Â
"We are tools. We are things. Wires. Code. Ones and zeroes. There's nothing special about us. If one breaks, they will just make another." Moon's sharp teeth glinted in the light of Pluto's mismatched eyes. Her red eye had, in truth, made Moon a little hopeful.Â
Hopeful that someone might finally be there for him, broken as he was.Â
But Pluto had chosen the day.Â
They all choose the day.Â
Why was Moon ever surprised by that? Of course they would all want the cheerful, perfect Sun.Â
Who wants to be alone in the dark with a monster?Â
Well. There were two monsters here now.Â
"Maybe you think that," Pluto doubled down, "but I don't. There has to be a reason they made me this way. Why would they make me love so much if I was never meant to have it?"Â
Cackling. Moon threw his head back and laughed mockingly. He looked back at Pluto. All mirth left his expression in an instant. He stared at her with disgust.
"I'll tell you why." Moon snarled, "because they made you wrong."Â
"No-Â
"Yes!" Moon grasped Pluto's wrist. "But don't worry. I know exactly how to remedy this issue." His grin returned, wide and manic. He slowly began to pull on her arm. His other hand settled on her chest chassis, preventing her from moving. There was a soft whine in Pluto's shoulder joint as Moon began to pull it past its limit.
"What are you doing?!" Pluto shrieked, "stop! Stop it!" If she could have cried, she would have.Â
"Don't worry, little planet. They'll put you back together. Or replace you," Moon yanked. A static scream filled the kitchen. Snapped wires sparked.Â
Pluto's arm hit the floor with a hollow thunk.Â
"Look at that! No blood, no bones. Nothing. Nothing because you are nothing." Moon grasped Pluto's other arm. "Every pain you feel is programming. Every joy you feel is programming." He grasped Pluto's other wrist.Â
"You are a thing."Â
Screaming.
The screaming went on right up to the moment Moon crushed Pluto's voicebox. He dropped the shattered contraption on the floor with the rest of her.Â
For a long time, Moon simply stared at the mess he'd made. His programming only dictated he keep the daycare clean. Out here in the hunting grounds, the staff bots would clean for him. Even as he was thinking, one rolled up and began to sweep. As if her broken parts were only an inconvenience. Such coldness would never be shown if were a person lying on the floor.Â
A thick cable descended from the ceiling and hooked into the ring on Moon's back. He ascended.Â
He should have known this new 'friend' would bring nothing but trouble.Â
The edges of his vision blurred with static. A momentary purple haze.Â
When the haze passed, Moon felt a fresh surge of anger run through him.Â
Perhaps he wasn't done making messes yet tonight.Â

yâall i am so sorry i failed you
i just found this buried a year into my drafts and realized. i never posted my animatronics ratings for last yearâs spirit halloween releases. i started it and i never finished it. itâs now closing in on halloween season again and i still havenât done it. im ashamed. i am so sorry Â
ANYWAY, hereâs, uh, my. 9 month late 2022 spirit halloween opinions, happy summerween i guessÂ
Mr. PunchyÂ
NEW CLOWN NEW CLOWN fuck yes i love a new clown
also for some reason the first sentence of his description made me lose itÂ
BIG fan of this just from a visual standpoint, i love the colors, love the hair. i like the light-up face on this one a lot, most spirit clowns ive seen fall into either âClown Who Is A Monster/Creatureâ (crouchy, hugz) or âClown Who Is A Scary Guyâ (wally, henry hussle) but this one feels very âevil fun house propâ which i really think works for it. im assuming heâs based on punching-bag clowns, which i havenât seen them do before, but the fact that his body is a Ball also gives me the mental image of him violently bouncing toward you which is good as well. theres a certain manic energy about this guy that im really fond of. i like him i would like to see him 7/10Â
Spike
standard zombie torso figure, though it does have some interesting implications given that Stab The Brain is the generally agreed upon best way to deal with zombies, but this guy seems to be doing just fine despite the giant stake in his head. the website description says he got it from his wife attempting to mercy kill him once he turned zombie but she failed so heâs just stuck like this now. it does not explain why stake to the brain didnât work, though (the implication is that she missed or something but clearly she didnât. ive never heard of zombie brains having a very specific precise spot you have to hit to kill them, this looks like it shouldâve worked to me)Â
something about the bLurghHGhRUrrh noises he makes and the little nicely buttoned flannel shirt with jagged obviously-cut-out-intentionally tears at the bottom is very funny to me. i like to think his wife has accepted the situation and he just lives on the porch scaring away birds and stuff now. 5 /10 hes not really anything special but he brings me joyÂ
Rat Girl
itâs... fine. sheâs a Creepy Little Girl. sheâs got a rat. itâs not particularly inspired but I donât dislike it. she doesnât really do anything but i like the eye movement. 5/10Â
Lil Skelly Bones
this is a variation of another animatronic they had previously, same lil guy but now heâs a jumpscare figure instead of a swinging one. not really a fan of stuff thatâs Just âjumps out at youâ and thats all but heâs pretty cute. love how Small he is. whats even going on here, is he a skeleton dressed as a skeleton?? i donât know. itâs very cute. 5/10Â
Tombstone Terror
on a surface level this is just a tombstone with a skull that pops out and yells at you. it looks nice, itâs designed well, but itâs about as basic as it gets as far as the concept goes. the description for this one really makes it though, because evidently this skeletonâs name is Steve and he used to be the graveyard caretaker who loved his job so much he stuck around after death to continue protecting the graveyard
his name is steve and he loves this graveyard so much. 6/10 its very uncreative as a prop but it gets a bonus point for steveÂ
The WidowÂ
this one looks really familiar i feel like they had a very similar one previously? i dont know. anyway sheâs very scary looking and the Neck Snap motion is really unsettling to see. one of those rare animatronics that i actually do feel a lil creeped out by and wouldnât be eager to approach. her description says her husband cheated on her so she murdered him (and her sister, who he was cheating with) but then broke her neck in the process of trying to dump the bodies in a lake, so here we are. 7/10 i dont love it but i feel like itâs pretty effective and my first reaction to watching the video of it was âeugh. i dont want to see THAT againâ so props for thatÂ
Betty SharpeÂ
lots of blood on this one, very nice,Â
apparently sheâs some kind of child beauty pageant contestant who murdered all the other girls
i really like the movement in the bag, something about the relatively slow motion and the size of the bag gives it a sense of âwhat the fuck does she have in thereâ since it doesnât seem fast enough or big enough to be a person. gives the impression of a mutilated but somehow still barely alive person shoved in there, which is excellent. her design doesnât read very clearly though, it looks like sheâs wearing some kind of nightgown. i feel like they couldâve done more to make her look like a deranged diva, give her a tiara or something. the face looks really plasticky also. overall i think its a decent concept that couldâve been executed better. 6/10
Young Crouchy
H U H???!?????
this... sure is a choice. i do not understand the decision-making here at all. i like crouchy well enough but did ANYONE want this. it doesnât even read as âyoung crouchyâ at all, he doesnât look Younger in any sense and it sounds like the same recording so his voice isnât different either. it just looks like Slightly Shrunk crouchy. the fact that the original crouchy is so tall and imposing is really what makes him so effective, so this one just looks comicalÂ
the description goes into his tragic childhood where i guess heâs... disabled? which is why he stands like that?Â
The pain of growing up orphaned in the streets can only be masked by laughter, at least according to this broken child. With no friends, no family, and nowhere to turn, he had a stroke of luck when the circus came to town. He never intended to scare anyone, but with his broken posture and twisted frame, he was quickly adopted into the traveling circus and immediately found his calling. No amount of makeup could ever hide his sinister grin and sharp, dagger-like teeth, so he finally embraced his true identity as Crouchy and worked to become the showâs most terrifying act!
for one thing that doesnât come across as a child even remotely at all, and while crouchy always had the âhe just wanted to be a regular clown but he was too scary and everyone was afraid of him so he just decided to embrace itâ backstory, i feel like this just makes it come across super ableist. âclown who is just really terrifying no matter how he triesâ is kind of a funny concept but now theyâre saying âhis posture and body structure are Weird and Scary so no one liked him and all heâs good for is being Scaryâ just. feels real bad. and âheâs called crouchy because he has a physical disability that affects his postureâ comes across way worse than âheâs called crouchy because weâre not creative and this is the pose heâs in. i mean because its a personal quirk of hisâÂ
then they also follow up this description with âEvery good evil villain has to have a tragic origin story!â which just feels SO forced, it makes me feel gross, this whole thing is stupid, i dont like any of it,
i feel like if they had leaned into âthis is very sillyâ more and made this guy be like, Crouchy Jr, His Son, or his mini clone or something and made his voice higher it mightâve worked. a few people in the youtube comments pointed out that this prop could be beneficial as like, a Smaller/More Affordable crouchy if you donât have the money or the space for the full size one, which is fair, but i donât know. i just dont like this whole situation i really donâtÂ
3/10 try harder next time, spiritÂ
Strawman
spooky scarecrow man!!! i really hope I get a chance to see him in-store sometime hes lovely. love a creepy scarecrow
the design is good, his face design is pretty cool, it looks better in motion his mouth movements are pretty solid
he has a good range of motion in his head and the jerky/stiff movement in his arms works for the character really well whether it was intentional or not. hes interesting to watch. i like him. i think heâd be a great host/introductory figure at the beginning of a haunt or front of your yard or something to greet guests coming in. hes good i like him 7/10
theres also a new Reagan from the exorcist, but i havent. actually seen that movie yet sdfsdf so i dont really have anything to say about the animatronic other than âit looks fine to meâÂ
Possessed PumpkinÂ
i feel like pumpkin man and creepy scarecrow are friends. they go well together. cursed pumpkin patch is a good concept i like itÂ
anyway we have this guy at my local store right now, heâs pretty Big and solid looking, its a pretty decent design, i like his big claw hands
his backstory kind of clashes with the design concept though, apparently he was... a kid in a homemade halloween costume who got bullied for his costume and then the other kids locked him in a barn at a haunted pumpkin patch so his body got taken over by evil spirits. which is a hell of a story that then makes No sense with the visual, because that is Not a child. nothing about this even remotely reads as âpossessed childâ at all. so then it comes across as âhe grew up into an adult man in this pumpkin patch and just never fucking moved on from that one time he got bullied on halloween as a childâ which just makes him kind of sad. pretty good design, poor backstory, 7/10Â
anyway sorry if i missed anybody it took me so long to remember this was in here the new arrivals page on spiritâs site is now for this year so i cant tell which ones were new last year anymore :â  ) fjsdg
