when i was watching s6ep16 my mom came into the room during the scene of theo and liam talking in the truck at the end and asked me "do we like those two?" to which i obviously immediately responded Yes. Very much so. and afterwards i told her about all the queer subtext in between them and she looked at me like ??? and said "i thought they are a couple, what do you mean they're NOT together?"

one scene with no prior context was enough for her to pick up on the homosexual tension in between those two. and they're still not canon. unbelievable, honestly.
