Getting up earlier was a pain in your ass especially because minnie hated waking up. She was spoiled rotten, hated walking unless you gave her a treat, but overall she was a sweetheart being friendly with everyone.

Jumping into the shower at 7:45 AM, washing your hair and doing your routine. Getting dressed in a big white long sleeve shirt detailed with roses and flowers, paired with a pair of shorts and checkered vans and nike socks seeing as you and date weren’t the formal date attire kind of people. Minnie on the other hand her ears peppered in tiny red bows and the flower collar and leash your mom bought her.

About 10 minutes later Taehyung gives you the heads up he’s outside waiting for you to come out. bending down to talk to minnie she watches you with playful eyes and a wagging tail.

“okay minnie there’s a man outside, his name is taehyung he has a doggie too..his name is yeontan okay? I can trust you’ll be on your best behavior” you smile as she somewhat understands ushering you to the door while her tail wags furiously.

Stepping out of the apartment doors for your skin to meet the warm rays of the sun, taehyung is standing there bag in one hand and a tiny brown fluffy dog. His smile brightens as he watches you and minnie walk together her face smiling as she approaches yeontan with a sniff.

“Hi baby and hi minnie” he pecks you on the cheek while he bends down to softly pet minnie.

He tells you jokes and compliments you seeing as you both dressed almost the same, smiling the whole way as you walk through the park sprung up with patches of flowers.

Pulling you closer to him he replied “ we’re having a picnic silly just like our first date.” you giggle watching your dogs walk side by side.

Taehyung was a little picky about picking the spot to roll the blanket out making sure there weren’t a lot of bugs and not a lot of sunshine...it had to be perfect. Once the magical spot was found watching kids play at the playground and you two munching on whatever taehyung brought.

“You should have told me to bring something baby..” you pouted minnie automatically whining at the face taehyung pulled on your face.

He chuckles “i’m sorry minnie...your moms a big baby” he pulls you in for a soft kiss, yeontans paws at minnies face when she lies down to enjoy the sunlight soaking it through her smooth curls, as she lays in your lap.

Sitting there for a little while longer the time now 10:45 AM you pack it up taehyung inviting you over to hang out with the boys for a while. Nodding of course, you loved seeing those boys despite seeing them not even 72 hours ago. Walking hand in hand you had no worry in the world watching taehyung smile as the both of you and your babies prancing around back to his house.

I dont know how the fuck I missed out Five out of Thirty (WIP) by @/tyrusmwm. Its my favorite. LIKE REALLY MY FAVORITE!!! Its a slow burn and Robbe and Sander finding their way to each other. Both: Travel around the world and experience different cultures and have pure wild adventures to get to see beautiful sights. And they’d also want to help those they see that are in need of help and put them in a good place.

B is for Butterflies: How they act when they’re nervous

Aidma: Fidgets a lot. Usually she’ll fidget with her hands and kind of shift in place. It seems to get on other people’s nerves though.... 

Najlynn: Her feet tap a lot on the floor and she’ll fidget her tongue in her mouth. Her eyes can’t seem to stay focused either. 

C is for Crush: what is it like when they have a crush? How do they know/act?

Aidma: She’ll be blushing more around them. When she gets even just a simple complement she’ll go shy mode. But she can still interact with them casually of course. She’d most likely find out about the crush when she’s taking one of her nature walks. Shy complement giver but she wants to show that she notices the little things about her crush. 

Najlynn: Smiley smiley :). She’ll be your little comedian. She makes people fall for her through her jokes for the most part. She’d give you complements confidently a good amount too~

D is for Date: describe an ideal date for them

Both: They don’t really have date ideals just as long as both sides enjoy the time spent together that’s enough for them ❤ 

E is for Essential: what is one thing they could NEVER go without

Aidma: Well,,, support. trauma still haunts her to this day and she appreciates every bit of support she gets. I don’t think she’d still be here if she hadn’t had support.... 

Najlynn: Her close friends that understand her thick and through. They are her shields from the hate she gets for just being her (because she’s  pan-sexual and poly-amorous).

F is for Favorite: a favorite anything- food, place, smell, book, etc.

Aidma: Spicy chips are one of her favorite snacks. Any lake/pond is a favorite place of her’s. wood, flowing water and however Zeus smells are her favorite scents. :> Her favorite books are academia books. 

Najlynn: Macaroons with whipped cream and coffee is her favorite snack. Cafes, parks and board walks are her favorite places. Flowers, books, freshly gritted coffee beans and grass are her favorite scents. Her favorite books are also academia books (but she leans towards light and romantic academia books). 

G is for Giggle: how they laugh/what makes them laugh

Aidma: Usually it starts out soft and she’ll be covering her mouth but it goes further it’d get a a bit louder and she’ll be clutching her stomach. Sometimes she just bursts out in loud laughter but tbh its rare. 

Najlynn: She always purses her lips before laughing. always. And she never holds back, she can sometimes be the loudest laugher which can sometimes cause people to look at her weirdly but she never notices it.

Both: They both snort a bit in their laughs and i find that really cute uwu

H is for Holding Hands: Do they like holding hands? Are their hands warm or cold? Pinky promises?

Aidma: Y E S PLZ. her hands are warm uwu. also a big yes for pinky promises. Pinky promises are extremely important to her and if you break it then you break a lil piece of her :( 

Najlynn: handholding is such a cute thing to do in her eyes so yes. her hands are actually cold! Pinky promises she sees as cute childish things to do. she usually doesn’t take them seriously but if the other person takes them seriously then she will too. 

I is for Inside Joke: something they do that everyone thinks is funny but they don’t understand

Aidma: When she’s mad at Zeus she’ll call him pin-chan or pinny just because he hates it. He said “those are to much of childish names” for him lol. He especially hates it when its in front of people. 

Najlynn: She likes adding the word girl in the most serious of sentences. ex “I am sorry for the death of your father girl”. Some kind of dark humor that is..... 

J is for Jinx: Are they Superstitious?

Both: No, they usually make fun of superstitious people together. 

K is for Kiss: how do they kiss?

Aidma: usually soft, and full of emotions. They leave you with a nice fluttery feeling. But when she’s horni she’ll be very passionate and you’ll be left to have to catch your breath. 

Najlynn: itty bitty kisses and even though they were little, because there were so much you have to catch your breath. 

L is for Love Languge: what is their love language? How do they give and how would they like to receive love?

Aidma: whether subtle or not, she gives constant reminders that she loves them. gifts, hand holding, cuddles, hugs and ect are her ways of expressing love. But she prefers to be shown love physically. You don’t even have to say the words to her, but affectionate touches are her favorite way of getting love.She also likes looking into the eyes of her lover lovingly and seeing the same look on their face looking at her (even tho she’s really shy about this).

Najlynn: She likes whispering sweet nothings to her lover and seeing their reaction. That’s her favorite way of showing love. She also likes getting shown physical affection.

M is for Meant to be: how/when they know someone is “the one”

Aidma: That when she spends time with them, it seems to go by so fast. That’s honestly what she really wants with someone. 

Najlynn: That they’re okay with how she wants the relationship to be and it actually ends up working out. it never seems to work out with any body like this and she just wants someone who is cool with being in a polyamorous relationship. 

N is for Nickname: a nickname they would have or their favorite thing to be called

Aidma: her nicknames are: Adi, Didi/Di, Dia and, Mani

Najlynn: her nicknames are: Naji, Naj, Nana, JeJe (its pronounced zhe zhe) DISCLAIMER: NEVER CALL NAJLYNN, LYNN. just don’t. She hates it and will end up breaking your arm if you do. 

O is for Organization: are they clean or messy?

Aidma: clean for the most part, sometimes she is a little messy but later she’d end up cleaning it up. But she can get really messy on stressful days.

Najlynn: I mean, she’s kinda messy but her sister always ends up nagging her to clean up after herself so she ends up cleaning it up. 

P is for Pet Peeve: What’s something they absolutely CAN’T stand?

Aidma: Strangers and non close friends who don’t get personal space. and constant small noises(like the ticking of a clock).

Najlynn: Being asked personal questions from non close people. like yeah she’s an open person but not that open. 

Q is for Quiet: What do they do for peace of mind

Aidma: Nature walks, eat sugary foods, cuddle with her lover or get her emotions out by drawing

Najlynn: Scents really have a calming affect on her so she’d try to go somewhere that has one of her favorite scents. cuddling with someone also calms her pretty well.

S is for Soft: Describe their softest feature

Aidma: smile, laughter, basically her whole body. :3

Najlynn: her voice is loud but somehow soft?? idk how to explain it. her lips look so soft when she smiles i wouldn’t be mad if u wanted to kiss her right there when she smiles. 

T is for Telephone: are they a talker or a texter? How often do they use their phone? (modern au ofc)

Aidma: she switches btw liking to talk over the phone/facetime/txting. Usually, she doesn’t use her phone much, like around 1h some days or 5h other days. depends 

Najlynn: She likes txting better. sometimes she likes to facetime but its rare tbh. she uses her phone a lot, like around 7h. 

U is for Unique: a random quirk they have

Aidma: not really a quirk but she mocks ppl’s voices a lot. 

Najlynn: She can tell someone’s relationship with their family by first glance. lol idk how i thought of that.

V is for Valentine: Are they the type to celebrate or not?

Aidma: Even when she didn’t have Zeus by her side she loved valentines day. Although she did get a bit jealous of the happy couples she was happy for them.

Najlynn: Surprisingly, no. She doesn’t have any ill feelings towards it, she just doesn’t care for it.

W is for Wholesome: something extremely pure about them that makes you just *uwu*

Aidma: I know I already said this but she loves physical affection and imagining some Fluffy Adius scenarios really warms my heart 🥰

Najlynn: She’s just soo understanding!! I adore her for her supportive side. 

X is for Xenia: How they would entertain a guest/show hospitality

Both: Cook some bomb food and sweets, (modern au prt) and offer to turn on the tv. lol but they’d probably talk over the tv.

Y is for Youth: A fond childhood memory they have

Aidma: uh............................................... okay well.......... when she first met her older sister (Amalie) They were in hiding but here’s the thing, they had Iasona who was still a baby at the time with them cuz Iaso’s mother had been killed right after she had birthed Iaso and then Iaso had been thrown out left to die. But Amalie found her and took care of her. After a a year and a few months when Amalie found Adi they decided to go into hiding and Adi thinks that time in hiding, taking care of Iasona was “a calm in the cruel storm”.   

Najlynn: meeting her little siblings for the first time. She immediately adored them all.

Z is for Zzz: Sleep habits. Do they cuddle in their sleep? Talk? What do they dream about?

Aidma: She’s the biggest sleep cuddler. She doesn’t talk in her sleep (she’s quite happy for it). Nightmares unfortunately happen at least every week for her but her dreams are usually either totally chaos or, its of what she wanted her childhood to be. 

Najlynn: Sometimes she’ll cuddle but it’s not often. Yeah she does talk in her sleep (when she and Adi have to camp out on a mission her sleep talking annoys Adi to no end(cuz she’s do damn loudd))  Sometimes she has visions in her sleep but she never remembers them. When she does have nightmares, they’re creepy asf. Her dreams usually have clouds in them for some reason idk y.

but yeah!! i just chilled and then i ate breakfast/brunch downstairs and then napped for like 1.5 hours before i called u! o: 

i literally just was watching videos, catching up on subscriptions, playing mobile legends, etc!!! i just wanna have a day where i stay in and dont do anything fully LOL and i dont need to leave or dress up or anything!!! here are some photos from downstairs/the christmas tree!!

i called u O: and then afterwards when u left to sleep, my dad wanted to buy some halo-halo and ez had errands to run so we went to the mall..dude it was so CROWDED UGH LOL dummy!! i get so tired when i go out in public sometimes and i just want 2 sleep fml

at the mall, i got halo-halo!! and appetizers at this restaurant idk, i had eggrolls and these really good like fried clam scallops?? idk how to describe it but it was fucking GOOD im O_O but yah!! the halo-halo was ok LOL i thot there was too much ube ice cream but i liked the consistency of it cuz it was like bingsoo iced ube instead of just like........ice cream ice cream LOL

dude it was fucking FAT so i shared it with my cousin LOL

afterwards we walked around and went to a book store!!! cuz my cousin wanted to get acrylic paint stuff cuz her artist stuff LOL i was looking around and saw this book and i thot it was SOOO FUNNY LOL

imagine having a FLUFFY BOOK OMG the left one is cute, but the right one is lowkey scary ASKSDKFJSLDFKJ there was a gray version of it too!!!

we just walked around tbh and we got a screen protector for ez’s new phone and then we went to a store to get a shirt for some secret santa thing and dude like some random filipino girl started singing silent night fucking LOUD and i was liek wtf is going on LOL this botch is singing like throughout the entire store it was so loud i was legitimately like PLEASE. STOP LFSJLDFKJSLDFKJSLDKFJ it was soo try hard too cuz she was obviously trying to fake an american accent LMAO

T.T then my aunt picked us up from the mall and we went to the hospital to wait for her to drive us back home cuz she had another patient LOL 

the hospital was lowkey kinda rundown and jank and very like...yah obviously built a long time ago/had kinda bad resources but they extended it and she showed us to like the “off-limits, in construction” portion of the other hospital wing kinda like stranger things HAHAHA but it was completely different and modern!! it was lowkey scary tho like bRO LIKE THE LIGHTS WERE OFF AND THE HALLS WERE LONG AND EMPTY...BUT THE INFRASTRUCTURE WAS NICE

but yah that’s p much it!! i went home and ate dinner and now im chillen again :3 gonna shower soon, wait for ur call, and ktfo!! apparently we have a fuckin family reunion thing/party tomorrow e_e im not looking forward to it im so tired dude i do not like LOL i hate these family functions theres too much energy to talk to people and i hate dressing up for it. dude wearing makeup here is so annoying cuz u just feel disgusting at the end of the day by how humid it is LOL

My Top 5 Korean Dramas

                    Here are my Top 5 Korean Dramas (Spoiler Free)

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (2016)

Plot: We follow our female lead, Kim Bok Joo, a weightlifter and her struggles to win the gold medal at the Olympiads while dealing with falling in love, preassure and stress. But in reality is really a cute sports rom-com.

I would say that this drama strong point is definitely the romance and the development of the main characters relationship. I don’t think I have ever shipped a couple more than I’ve shipped Bok Joo and Joon Hyeong.

But not only the romance but the comedy in this drama is perfect. I remember laughing my ass off with this drama and being extremely fun but still in a way that feels real. I never felt like I was watching something that was over the top or didn’t make much sense plot wise. 

This drama is a gem and I can’t recommend it enough (at the time I was watching I recommend it to all my friends), it’s awesome! Watch it!!

Genres: Comedy, Romance, School, Sports

D-Day (2015)

Plot: This drama follows a reckless doctor that is always getting in trouble. Leading in him being sent to a small hospital that barely has workers (I only remember being a nurse there tbh, but I might be wrong) and only a few patients. Suddenly an unexpectedly 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck’s Seoul and we follow Dr. Lee Hae Seong as he tries to save the patients at the hospital he was at, due to this being greatly damaged. 

This.Drama.Is.Perfection!!! Great story line, acting on point and is so nerve wrecking but at the same time you will want to know what happens next.

Also let me just add that I stumbled upon this drama randomly because I was searching for dramas that Kim Young Kwang had starred in and I’m so happy I did.

Main Cast: Kim Young Kwang, Jung So Min, Ha Suk Jin

Genres: Drama, Medical, Romance

My Score: 8.5/10

Life is Beautiful (2010)

Plot: Now let me just warn you this is a 63 episodes drama and yes I can understand that this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I still would like for you to give it a try.

We follow a family that lives in Jeju (one of Korea’s most known islands and travelling spots). They own an inn and we just follow their daily lives and family drama really.This is a slow paced slice of life (which I love btw) but it can get a bit boring sometimes.

I only started watching this drama because I heard they had an homosexual couple and that’s very unusual in Korean cinematography so I decided to watch it and it was everything I had in mind. They deal with the struggles of being a gay men in Korea and the homophobia around it. Also best parents that I ever seen in a drama EVER, just putting out there.

Main Cast: Lee Sang Woo, Song Chang Eui, Kim Hae Sook, Kim Young Chul, Lee Sang Yoon, Nam Sang Mi, Nam Gyu Ri

Genres: Romance, Family, Slice of Life, LGBTQ+

My Score: 9/10

Shark (2013)

Plot: This is a kinda hard drama to talk about without giving to much of the story.

Han Yi Soo, a teenage boy, witnesses his dads murder and intends on discovering who was behind it. An event happens and he disappears for a few years. Suddenly he returns with a new name and denying his true identity. Jo Hae Woo, Yi Soo’s childhood friend recognizes him and tries to unveil what happened.

This has a bittersweet ending so I’ve warned you.

Main Cast: Kim Nam Gil, Son Ye Jin, Ha Suk Jin, Lee Soo Hyuk, Nam Bora

Genres: Tragedy, Melodrama, Thriller, Romance

My Score: 10/10

Coffee Prince aka The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince (2007)

Plot: Go Eun Chan, a tomboy girl gets often mistaken for a boy, one day when she goes to a coffee shop looking for a job as a bartender (now hear me out, this was one of my 1st Korean dramas that I’ve watched so my memory is not that good and I have never rewatched it so I might be wrong about this) she only gets the job due to them only hiring males, so she lies and disguises as a boy.

She starts working there and the boss of the coffee shop, Choi Han Gyul, starts doubting his sexuality and developing feelings for pretty boy Eun Chan.

A lot of fluffy moments, absolutely adore this drama to death, It’s a classic and guys, Gong Yoo, that should be enough to make you watch it.

This drama was so popular in Asia that is has gained a few adaptions throughout the years:

48. Do you leave reviews when you read fanfiction? Why/Why not?

yes. at least I try to. sometimes I forget because I had no time or just idk. but most of the time I write a review. no matter if I liked the story or not. I want to tell the author what I thought, how they can improve or what I liked most. I want to leave feedback because I know how it feels to write without anybody noticing it. and it’s an awful feeling like is my writing so bad? am I just that unimportant? why does nobody write a comment? you get to ask yourself so many questions it’s awful. that’s why I try to write long reviews to every fanfiction/chapter I read.

ha! i honestly am such a sucker for the main leads doing sweet things like looking after the female lead when she’s hurt- even if it’s buying her medicine, looking after her when she’s drunk. just thoughtful things in general. and i like it when the female lead does the same for the male lead. like just doing lovely things for the other :( 

i am also a whore for long hidden glances and petty silly jealousy or crushing babbling nonsense (not like scary jealousy tho) and honestly who doesn’t love a good hearts racing, cheeks blushing cliche moment? 

when drama’s do parodies of other famous drama’s idhfud they just take the mick it’s so funny

food, everywhere, yummy ramen, yummy spicy rice cakes… yummy… yumness…

now what cruel person… i want to say cheese in the trap just because i love baek in ho so much and it was such a thrill at the start… but i’ll have to go with weightlifting fairy… there’s more pro’s in this drama… like the fact i actually finished it when it was airing… 

16: jealousy incarnate or oh my ghostess?

definitely jealousy incarnate, lee jong suk is really brilliant as lee hwa shin and even though i have to admit that i didn’t watch the side stories, and mostly only the stories of lee hwa shin and pyo nari… it’s still better than oh my ghostess in my opinion. the latter show made me uncomfortable- mostly due to the fact the main lead was falling in love with a mix of two people. it just made me a bit itchy :(( and sad :(( because then the romance is a bit of a mess

17: descendants of the sun or w: two world?

hmm.. i actually did start descendants but dihfiadhf for the life of me could not get past the first two episode, maybe it was the dramatic love song at the end of their first meeting that had me both scratching my head and stifling laughter. but i’ve heard good things about w, and did want to pick it up until i heard the ending went a bit lopsided, so to save myself disappointment, i did not watch it. 

18: moonlight drawn by clouds or legend of the blue sea?

okay so this is tricky… mdbc is critically… probably a better drama but despite it’s flaws i really have to say legend of the blue sea. i watched it the whole way through, and i really love the soundtrack (which im actually listening to as i answer these) and the main characters, and it made me laugh a lot even if i did cry a little over the greatness it could’ve been :((

oh hye won and her friend ji soo from secret love affair. i really loved their friendship, how ji soo was a pillar of support for hye won, she was a real friend. 

i really truly love the friendship between the three main female leads in the woman who still wants to marry- it’s so warm. 

oh hae young and her friend in oh hae young again are also very sweet, i’m really glad hae young had a friend she could talk to. 

oh and the friendships between shim cheong and all her cute oddball friends in legend of the blue sea :’((( that was pure stuff right there

and let’s not forget the kids and family on the block in reply 1988, its honestly so lovely :’((

i feel like there’s almost always a sidekick friend in kdrama’s but never are they good friendships that make me feel things :( sometimes the friend is just a prop

oooh… this is hard… if this was bollywood it would be easier because i would’ve just said kajol and sharukh khan… but here… lemme think… now that i think about it… i really liked gong hyo jin with so ji sub in the master’s sun. i also really liked park hyun sik and lim ji yeon together in high society. but otherwise… my brain is frazzled!! 

how could i forget minah and namgung min in beautiful gong shim :((( they had such great chemistry

oh boy oh boy… i think i did watch one? but skipped a load of it to watch one couple… i mean i’ve thought about it? especially with father is strange… but it’s a pretty rare case. i know i’ve started some but couldn’t get through them all :(

“Useless. That’s all you are.”

I sat there in the darkness letting my mother’s words continue to stab me. She’d said them hours ago, but ever since I’d been in my bedroom letting them eat at me, destroy the person I knew I was, not the one she tried to force me to believe I was. I wiped the tears that slipped past my attempt to keep them in.

“You’re the biggest waste of space I’ve seen. I would do anything to go back and have you aborted.”

She’d said many, many nasty things to me over the years, and I always tried my best to ignore them. I refused to believe any word that she uttered. But tonight, it seemed like she had pulled out everything that could possibly hurt me. And it did. Every last syllable was like a dagger shoved and twisted into my heart. After tonight’s spiel, she left. She didn’t say when or if she’d be back. She picked up her jacket and her close-to-empty pack of cigarettes, and left.

I didn’t understand it, but she was so cruel to me because she suspected I was the reason for Dad leaving all those years ago.

I was barely ten years old. I had been at school. I always figured he chose then to do it to avoid as much heartbreak as possible. I got home right as he was leaving. I remember excitedly running off the bus to tell my parents everything that had happened that day, but Dad was in his car pulling out of the driveway. He didn’t stop to talk or even to look at me. My mother never told me he left us, that was something I slowly had to piece together. It wasn’t that hard though, my mother threw all of his stuff out in the yard and one night burned it. She took almost everything he had bought for us, and sold it. And finally, the biggest clue was that each night, when I lay there waiting for him to come tuck me in and read me a bedtime story, I would stay up for hours because he never came home.

I didn’t want to leave my bed. It was the only place I felt truly safe, but I heard the doorbell sound off. I threw the covers to the side and got up. I made my way to the door, wiping my tears as I went. I opened it, expecting to see my mother at the door because she lost her house key again, but instead it was our next door neighbor. “Hey Soo.” I mumbled, having lost my voice from crying until my lungs burned earlier. “I heard shouting and saw your mom storm off. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.” I nodded slowly, now focusing all my attention on the ground. Kyungsoo had a habit of reading me like a book. “Look at me.” I ignored him. “Please.” He whispered, moving closer to me. I still kept my eyes on ground. Kyungsoo ever so slowly brought his finger up to my chin and tilted my head up so I was looking directly at him. “You’re not okay, don’t lie to me.” He said in a small voice. I felt the tears well up in my eyes again. But instead of trying to stop them from falling, I buried my head in his chest, and let them out. He wrapped his arms around me, stepping inside and shutting the door behind us.

I don’t know how long we stood there, me sobbing into his chest and him holding me, not saying a word as I did, but I know that I finally felt like someone actually gave a damn. “You can talk to me about whatever you need to.” Kyungsoo had said after I had calmed down a bit. I liked that about him. He never pressured me to talk to him or about what exactly what was bothering me. It had been this way since I was younger when one day I couldn’t take my mother’s screaming, so I ran outside to just get away. I ran right into Kyungsoo in the process and just like he did earlier, he simply let me cry into his arms, comforting me and not stopping until he was sure I was fine.

“I want to get away from her, but I have nowhere to go.” I finally mumbled, my voice barely audible.  Kyungsoo’s silence was my key to continue. He never spoke until he was sure I had expressed everything I needed to. “She never used to be like this ya’know. She used to be so cheerful and just full of life. Now she’s so cold and cruel. Everything is my fault since Dad left. Whether it’s him or a piece of trash on the floor, I can’t do anything right or good enough for her. She makes me feel so useless and worthless. After everytime she talks to me I feel so pathetic.” The oncoming sobs choked me up from saying anymore. Kyungsoo delicately stroked my head, untangling locks of my hair as he did so.

“I know it’s hard for you to ignore what she says, but you are far from worthless. She only blames you for your dad because she doesn’t want to realize that maybe she was the reason. You’re one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. You’re selfless, caring, respectful, hard-working, and overall amazing.” Kyungsoo’s words brought tears to my eyes once again. I never saw myself that way. And my mother’s view was far from that. I just always did what I believed was right. I never second guessed myself, regardless of my mother’s harsh words, I sought out to make other people’s lives somewhat bearable despite my own not being the best. It never failed to make me happy, seeing other people smile because of me. Just the thought of it made my tears slow practically to a stop.

Kyungsoo wiped away the remaining tears. “So beautiful.” I heard him say, voice barely audible. His words made me feel warm inside, and I couldn’t stop the small blush that took way, starting at my cheekbones and going from there. I attempted to bury my face in my hands, so he wouldn’t see the redness spread on my cheeks. However, I realized I was too late as he grabbed my hands and pushed them back to my sides. “You’re too cute to be hiding your face.” I couldn’t help but blush harder at his statement, a small smile beginning to form on my lips. “There’s that dazzling smile I love to see.” I didn’t even know how to react to everything he was saying, my cheeks just got redder and redder and my face grew hotter and hotter until I felt like I was practically on fire. “Soo, you’re literally gonna make me explode, stop being so nice.” I mumbled, trying once again to bury myself in my hands to hide my ever-reddening face. He got quiet, the air surrounding us becoming thick from the silence. I really didn’t expect him to say anything as time passed. But after a few moments he responded. “Sorry, it’s hard not to compliment the girl I’ve fallen for.” My jaw dropped, and for a spilt second I couldn’t even breathe. Fallen for? He couldn’t be serious? That can’t mean what I think it means? I guess Kyungsoo could see the confusion on my face because he shifted away from me, removing his arms from their place around me and walked to the other side of the room. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said anything, especially not… now.”

“What do you mean?” It wasn’t the brightest thing I could’ve said, but I wanted confirmation that what I was thinking was actually right. Now it was Kyungsoo’s turn to blush, but instead of burying his face in his hands like me, he kept eye contact with me. “I don’t t-think,” He began, “Now is the right time to talk about this.” My first instinct was to pout, he was such a softie it was bound to work. Being as pouty and cute always softened him up enough for me to get whatever I wanted. “Don’t d-do that to me.“ I may or may not have stuck my bottom lip out a bit farther. “Y-y/n…” His voice grew more faint as I continued pouting, eventually crossing my arms to add to the effect. “Kyungsoooooo, please just tell me.”

“I love you.” I should’ve been used to his bluntness, but right now I had never been more taken back. “As we grew up and got closer I couldn’t resist. I always caught myself thinking about you. Anytime you came to me about your mom and how horribly she was treating you, I found it was beginning to hit me so hard because I cared for you so much. Hearing all the awful things she said to you, made me absolutely sick to my stomach. One day I sat down and tried to figure out why it hurt me so bad, none of that was happening to me? But then it hit me, I liked you. My feelings for you only soared since then.”

“Soo…” I didn’t know what I was going to finish with, so I just cut myself off.

“I’ll go now.” He made his way to the door, but before he could exit through it I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. “But, I want you to stay.” The smile was on his lips was faint, but it still managed to warm my heart. “Please stay.” I cautiously laced our fingers together, sometimes contact like this made him uncomfortable, and considering how often he was there for me and made me feel like I was actually important, that was the last thing I wanted to do. But unlike I expected, he allowed our hands to slip together easily. “Thank you.” I said.

“What for?” He questioned.

“Always being there for me.”

He shook his head. “You don’t have to thank me for something I’ll always do.”

Favorite Book: What the fuck kind of question is this. You come into my house. And you ask me to pick between my children.

This answer is really, really complicated. I love so many books for so many different reasons. I love Harry Potter because it’s what got me into reading longer series. I love Binge by Tyler Oakley because it helped me be more open-minded and was a big part in helping me discover what my sexuality was and that I was okay. I love The Hobbit because it was a book that helped me escape life and that taught me that caring about home and hearth is a good thing to do. I love the Warrior cats series because I fucking love cats and it was one of my first introductions to more adult situations (in terms of violence, death, grief, and loss). I love The Giver because it made me cry my eyes out. I love The Martian because it made me laugh. I love every Shel Silverstein book ever written because they made me feel like a kid again and that being a child at heart is okay. I love Journal 3 because Stanford Pines is a character I love with all my heart. I love the Percy Jackson series and most of its spin offs because I love mythology and modern aus. I love the Septimus Heap series because it was such a different, wonderful, beautiful approach to magic and wizardry that made me feel warm inside. I loved Entwined because...I just loved Entwined. (It’s a twisted fairy tale kind of deal with The 12 Dancing Princesses and one of the best things I’ve ever, ever read, hands down). I love A Series of Unfortunate Events because I have a dark sense of humor and because it makes me feel better about my life.

Books were basically my only friends growing up. People didn’t like me because I was fat, or because I didn’t want to play outside very much, or because I had only ever really talked to and hung out with my mom and my step-dad, so I had a more mature sense of humor and personality overall.. Friends came and went, but books never went anywhere. Books stayed. Junie B Jones always stayed with me. Jack and Annie always went on magical adventures that let me learn about history. Every character I met along the way stayed with me, even if they died, because I could pick them up off of a shelf and read their adventures again. I don’t read as much as I used to, because I spend a lot of time on the computer, but I’m working to change that. Books have always been an escape for me, and I’ll continue to love their stories until I die.

Favorite Flower: Roses! It’s a tie between red and pink roses. I also really like tulips!

Favorite scent: My girlfriend’s perfume. I think it’s sweetpea or something? Idk, but it always smells really nice. And I just like the way my clothes smell after I come home from spending the night at her house. It’s like her perfume, laundry detergent, and something that’s either wood or stale cigarette smoke.

Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: As much as I love coffee...tea, probably. It’s just so relaxing to sit curled up under a blanket with a cup of tea and relaxing. Plus my girlfriend and I make tea whenever I go over to her house, so it holds a special place in my heart :)

Average Sleep Hours: Okay, so...if I ever got up on time, I’d be getting like five hours of sleep a night, which is fine. But I oversleep. Every. Fucking. Day. So usually seven or eight.

Cat or Dog person?: Cats. I love dogs with all my heart and I want one someday, but if I had to choose between a cat and a dog I’d choose a cat because

I connected with a lot of these guys on a deep personal level. Like with Amethyst, I understand why she feels the way she does because I’ve gone through struggles of self-hatred and thinking I was a mistake. I love them all, but there are those few who I just feel like they were...made for me I guess.

Number of Blankets you sleep with: Just my comforter, but before I got my space heater in my room I’d sleep with two blankets, an electric blanket, and my comforter. My room used to be an attic, so it has like no insulation. Plus the heating ducts that go to my room are SUPER shitty, so barely any heat comes out of my vents. Now I’m just used to being cold XD But I don’t like sheets D: Even in the summer, I have to have my big comforter...sheets are too flimsy. Idk, I find the weight of a comforter or heavy blanket comforting.

When I was little though, I remember taking every blanket I owned and piling them on my bed in the winter...and I slept in a sleeping bag, on my bed, under those blankets! XD I miss that sleeping bag. It was a really pretty blue and was really warm...

Ideal Trip: going to New Zealand or England or the French countryside or somewhere with a lot of greenery. Staying somewhere where I can relax and stay in bed all day if I want to or go find things to do in the city or town or wherever is close by. My girlfriend being with me and being able to relax somewhere quiet with her where I can watch the sunlight stream across her face every morning and kiss her all over her face until she wakes up. Somewhere I can relax and not worry about what tomorrow brings; somewhere I can let my troubles float away.
