omg YES I WILL I LOOOOOOOOOVE THE KARAVERSE EEEE. ao imma focus on cross group friendships cause each group has their own dynamics and that’s a different post. i also don’t wanna add romantic relationships so this is all just friendships for now.

so our main group is heeyoung , minji and taeji, the fucking chaos triplets. jen is a recent addition the squad but she’s really fitting in with them i love it. mimi joins them every now and then but she’s quite a solo person but when she’s there they have fun. they get in a lot of shit together but they’re so fun and fresh. a sub division of this group includes the boys like james of triptych, jisung and hyunjin.

taeji is especially close with james since they’ve known each other since their trainee days. taeji , james and jeongin are a very close trio.

next is our party girls sora, kelsey and kiera. calling them friends is even a stretch they kinda just are around each other and go out together. sometimes they hang out with minchae she’s an npc oc i created that is jangmi’s ex childhood best friend. she’s a model and actress and gets the best drugs so they hang out. non of them really like each other but are a lot more involved in each others lives than they will admit.

sora and sol are one of the closest pairings in the karaverse. they’re like brother and sister and adore each other. he really is her support system and so sweet. they used to include fin a lot in their friendship but ever since their breakup they obviously are back to being a duo.

a fun little group stella, mila and nova. the three of them are very close and i looove them cause they’re all so different but mesh together so well. they’re literally the coolest people you’ll ever meet. they’re so like aloof and mysterious ugh so sexy.

next is our artsy gays; mila , stella , dayna and arin. they love to frequent galleries and go to fun exhibits not super close but hangout a decent amount.

next we have akiko and trin. theyre a cute lil duo , trin is a lot more quiet and doesn’t stand up for herself but luckily she has akiko. they’re joined at the hip and in basically in love with each other i’m obsessed fr.

iris used to train at cube and so she’s close with vivid but she’s one of sora’s best friends. they liked each other as trainees but decided to just stay friends and that was the best thing they could’ve done honestly because they make amazing friends.

lastly there’s jangmi and minseok as well as jangmi and sam from triptych. minseok and jangmi were mcs together and jangmi fell for him but he’s in love with his bandmate jun so they’ve become really good friends. jangmi has struggled with friendships and through minseok she met sam and they are instantly clicked. she decided that they’d ignore their romantic interest in each other to focus on their friendship because it means so much to her.

honorable mention to jinah bora and jade. nothing significant but like at parties they interact a lot

Soo I know mcc is not as hyped up or popular as it was a few years ago, but I still find it great and cannot wait for it to come back. Therefore, for this hiatus, here are 3 winning povs I recommend to watch! I am pretty proud of this list bc I included all 3 seasons and 12 different players! It s a pretty self-indulgent list, buuut i think they are all great and all deserve a watch if you have not before

Season 1: MCC 9 Blue Bats (Hbomb, False Symetry, Rendog and Fruitberries). Out of all the teams of this list, this one is by far the most famous, and they absolutely deserve this fame! After all, its impact in mcyt is incredible, the only other teams that are as remembered are probably mcc 4 Purple Pandas (the sbi team) and mcc 17 Orange Ocelots, and it was the 1st time the hermits won mcc. The Blue Bats 9 were the ultimate underdogs, and each member of the team proved to everyone how freaking good they are in the coolest way posible. Also, the vibes were so, so good, and it was just a really epic event. It is been more than 2 years, and I still think those survival games are the best there has been in mcc history. Finally, I am pretty sure this team indirectly caused Hbomb being in vault hunters and freaking treebark, so good for em. And I could go on and on about this team, but there is a reason I am writing this in Ria´s blog lol, just scroll down!! You won´t regret it! In summary, obligatory watch and the definition of a legendary win. (Ren please come back, we all miss you. Especially False.)

Season 2: MCC 23 Orange Ocelots (Quig, Eret, Inthelittlewood and F1nnister). Look. I feel like crazy every time I say this team is incredible bc no one else seems to get it. But this pov is the definition of vibes. This team is made up of 4 random ccs who had almost no contact to each other before the event, it was the 1st time some of them even talked. And still they had the most wholesome, fun vibes ever. They were just so supportive of each other (Quig and Eret were really into getting Martyn his 1st win bc they watched him when they were kids, that was so cute), and it is so obvious they did not expect to win, it was such a close event with a lot of strong teams that in theory were better than orange. I think they were in 6th place until the 5th game or so. But still they did it by being absolute badasses and having some of the best communication I have ever seen in mcc (that parkour tag is just beautiful). Also they all really deserved that win, period. Both Quig and Finn seem to have left mcc very soon after this event, and Eret and Martyn have not teamed up again since, and this is literally my Roman Empire :(. Look people, just watch mcc 23, most povs from that event were a blast, apart from Orange I really recommend Red (the other team in dodgebolt, who did incredibly well and also deserved to win), Lime and Purple

Season 3: MCC 31 Red Rabbits (Jojosolos, OllieGamerz, CapitanGato and Shadoune). Okay, this one is kind of tricky to recomment bc for most of the event they talk in Spanish, BUT. I am Hispanic, and this mcc meant a lot. It was just so cool to see people who talked in my first language in an event I had loved for so long. As I have seen some confusion about this, I will clarify that Shadoune is not Hispanic, he s French, but he speaks Spanish very well and has been a part of that side of the mc community for long, so he s adopted i guess lol. But yeah, this team was amazing, I will never get tired of seeing Jojo dominate and prove the goddamn reddit wrong. She is just such a cool player. Her leadership skills are unmatched, like that team included two brand new players, and Shadoune had only played once. And they still won!!! The vibes were excellent. Ollie has become a player I always look forward to, he s just very chill and he was so proud of himself that mcc for knowing the "lore" (aka writing weird dunk in chat). I will never not laugh at Gato doing a 1v3 in dodgebolt and not realizing how big of a deal that is lmao. And Shadoune had to deal with a lot of technical issues during the event, but he was still great. Also, he has a very fun personality, I like seeing such a good and competitive player, basically a legend in the Hispanic circles of minecraft, being as enthusiastic as he is. During the irl mcc event he was basically jumping from happiness :)

Okay, long post, but I wanted to talk about some of my favourite teams (there are many other great ones!). I think sometimes we look back and only remember the drama and discourse, and it is true it has been so many events they might not seem as special anymore. A lot of iconic players have left as well. But we have had lots of incredible moments. A lot of new, great players have joined relatively recently and are so excited to show the community what they are capable of: Impulse, Owen, FireBreathMan, Bekyamon, DarkEyebrows, Wallibear... Like people, players who are now iconic participants such as Purpled, Scar and Jojo did not join until well into season 2! Show the newbies your love! The non-canon events have also been great (pride, scuffed my beloved, party, twitch rivals). I look forward to the future :)

does mc ever joke with his sister about not knowing how to solve a problem like maria? that's prime sibling energy to do that as a way to diffuse arguments or deliberately be annoying

literally JUMPING at the chance to talk about these two rn. but yeah, they definitely do joke about that with maria. the two of them dont really argue. they have their disagreements, but the mcs blunt nature has rubbed off on maria so when shes upset she will straight up say why shes mad and the mc will explain why they wont let her do what she wants to do. and they will let her be mad at them and stew for a bit, so long as she listens in times of serious danger. they both understand that there is a time and a place for an argument. maria is very mature for her age, and this maturity is a big part of why shes still alive. their arguments dont last very long.

i can imagine her trying to come up with silent hand signals for them to communicate when talking isnt an option, and while maria picks up on them fast, the mc is a lot slower. usually with maria, theyre pretty even tempered and find her exuberance to be endearing, so theyll crack a tiny smile and say something like “youre gonna have to go slower im not a genius like you” and she’ll get all offended for their sake because she thinks theyre the smartest person in the world (and also has no point of comparison for her own intelligence. she thinks its normal for an eleven year old to solve college level equations with little to no schooling) and say “of course you are!!!!” and launch into another explanation.

the mc does like to tease maria and the best way to get her riled up is to put themself down. so theyll smirk a little and say “slow down for your dumb big bro” and maria will start squawking about how theyre not dumb and how theyre super smart and the coolest person ever. and the mc will just watch her with a fond little smile. it definitely makes them feel better about themself. maria sees the mc as a superhero

their relationship definitely treads the line between siblings and parent and child. maria sees the mc as her super cool big brother, and they see her as a mix of their sister and their daughter. they havent really addressed the latter part of that, but its hard to quell the parental instincts when they literally raised her from birth.

fun fact about them: the mc has completely normalized stimming for maria and will spin her around whenever she asks. its her favorite stim so whenever she gets excited she will repeat “spin me! spin me!” and theyll pick her up and twirl in circles until they cant anymore. it usually ends with then both laying on the ground, maria giggling hysterically and the mc watching, content for once in their life.

my brain has literally been all over the place with wips i'm not even gonna lie. i released 2 other wip intros for some more wips: lukewarm rejection and my giant fantasy wip the chronicles of lathsbury (which has its own sideblog lmao).

(and also in general a giant explanation for all of my wips that don't have intros yet. its just mini summaries but don't feel pressured to read ALL of it bc i have a lot of wips & its a whole lot lmao)

but in terms of actual things my brain is currently occupied with i'd say its been mainly train master chidori and god eater (with a side of lukewarm rejection bc my boys,,,)

CHIDORI (mc of train master chidori)

i've had some variation of chidori's character since i was about 10. i used to pretend to be her (bc she was a girl at the time--she was kind of like a self insert tbh) when i played on the merry-go-round at the playground and had a helluva good time lol. it's only been recently that i finally settled on an iteration that i liked, and unsurprisingly bc he started out as a self insert for me, it kind of makes sense that he ended up trans masc like myself

anyway tho he's a big dork who loves trains

i'm still trying to get the actual Plot of his story together but this is a post that kind of explains whats going on in a bare bones kind of way

DI & TOPH (mcs of lukewarm rejection)

these are ocs that i created with my ex back in hs and i got them in the divorce pFF

they were originally apart of a convoluted fantasy story (that people like /kudzu and /henrike and /scribbles will probably remember) HOWEVER this year i finally decided that i just wasn't happy with the story and how it was working and dispersed the ocs to be in other projects. a good chunk of them ended up in LR but like,,, most importantly to ME di and toph lmao.

toph has always been in a band. the reason i made him a demon is bc his original powers that were caused by Trauma i wanted to keep bc i really liked the idea of him being able to use chains to decapitate people. i just couldn't really separate it from his character, so by making him a demon i was able to keep that bit in.

random trivia: di is a vegetarian. bc its something that can't be removed from his og design. and instead of having a horse, he has 3 cats: bael, vivi, and faelwyn (who hes had since she was a kitten). he also has shit eyesight and he doesn't like/is scared of fish PFFF

toph gained a plethora more tattoos and piercings than the og design that he had. his favorite color is green bc its lucky. his favorite activities are sleeping and singing.

GOD EATER... is a mess

i actually finished writing everything out that i have so far for this wip and its another wip where i kind of don't know where to begin in terms of explaining it. however the 4 main characters really are:

nevaeh (this name is on purpose), a they/them who has been tasked to save the world very much against their will.

their guardian and guide little bear (he prefers that to his "actual" name ursa minor LMAO).

thei, the god eater himself (and a huge laidback, soft, crybaby when he's not literally causing the eradication of gods)

and his caretaker taj (a rouge legna *or angel* who decided to service his god's killer instead of finding another god).

the four of them are a lot of fun and despite this wip being kinda heavy its also gonna be a lighthearted mess :) i'm excited to uh. figure out how to explain it LMAO.

OKOKOK SO! i have many oc universes but the one i was talking abt is my (eventual. i will make it someday i promise) webcomic Into Orbit!! its about four teenagers in the year 2009 who’s town is getting invaded by aliens and wacky hijinks ensue :)

the one at the bottom is jaz phuong!! she/her bisexual grunge enthusiast who has dreams of owning a motorcycle, but unfortunately she is Fifteen Years Old and cannot drive one. truly a tragedy. however she makes due with wearing a motorcycle helmet roughly 60% of the time (has gotten into detention several times refusing to take it off.) she can come off as gruff and intimidating at first, however she just has autism and social anxiety and doesn’t know how to talk to people. she is the coolest one here by far tho. and also my favorite to draw. i love her <3

going clockwise, the next character is theo rivera!:3 he/him token cishet (however he is ace and gnc!! so still a win for the gays) and jaz’s reluctant friend/bestie/boyfriend depending on where you are in the story. hes a silly goofy mischievous little boy with a bad temper that he tries to keep under wraps. when he’s in a really bad mood, though, he sneaks out into the junkyard next to his house and smashes shit with his trademark Baseball Bat Never Once Used To Play Baseball (tm), which will absolutely not ever get him into trouble what are you talking about. he rides on the bike pegs he insisted jaz attach to her bike and they are so incredibly important to me do you understand

next up is shelley “shel” bloomberg, he/him worlds most cringest boy (its a feature not a bug). he’s grayromantic and gay, but he doesn’t know it yet so shhh!!!! hes a massive alien fan, local believer of every cryptid ever (he WILL show you "proof" if asked), avid xfiles watcher and scifi enjoyer. basically hes a huge nerd and we love him for it. usually he gets made fun of (*COUGH* SYLV *COUGH*) for his interests, but its lucky he knows his stuff, seeing as their town is about to get invaded by real-life actual aliens!! can most likely be found on call with his brother alex, playing his scuffed (absolutely NOT pirated he would never do such a thing stop lying) copy of the sims 2, or looking for extraterrestrial life using his handheld telescope. or just looking at space bc you know. space cool.

finally, we have sylvia mahji, she/her the most beloved of girls in the whole wide world. unlabeled sapphic who is POSSESSED BY AN ALIEN!! UH OH!!! well its really more of an unwilling symbiotic relationship but still UH OH!! dont worry her and her alien parasite become buddies (or more... hmmm.........) as time goes on. and she gets alien superpowers. hell yeah. she often ends up being mean to people in an effort to fit in, however all she really wants is friends :( her and theo used to be besties above all the resties but they started drifting apart at the beginning of the story, something to be discussed over the course of the plot. also she and shel are neighbors and have a rival relationship, like they hate each other so much for literally no reason. can you tell i like rivals to friends relationships. oH YEAH AND SHES FUCKING CRACKED AT BASKETBALL GIRL IS BALLING FR

other characters include: spacegirl!! the aforementioned alien parasite of sylv. she, although her name would make you think otherwise, is not a girl but an alien. i dont have a design settled on for her, but i do know that i want her to be humanoid, and she's got a green and pink color scheme :) when she takes control of sylv's body (because she can do that. forgot to say. eyah) sylv's eyes turn green and other eyes open up all over her body because cool :thumbsup: she came on the same spaceship the invaders coming to earth are from, but she just wants to see earth and have fun!! and maybe prevent her evil tyrant alien leader from taking over another world!! who knows!!

another important character is alex flores-bloomberg, shel's half brother, scene kid, and all around goofy guy :3 transmasc he/him, really just here to cause problems and get myspace followers. shel's father absolutely hates him and that fact is only partly because he stained his entire bathroom with hairdye. he's two years younger than the rest of the cast, a point that will be constantly used to make fun of him. i love him dearly. you get it.

Does not understand how you just did that

He has a lot of trouble accepting even minor forms of magic, so you changing literally everything about your anatomy terrifies him at first

Of course that terror is overtaken by his curiosity

He wants to know how much of your internal structures shift to match your outer structure

Like an octopus has multiple hearts, so if you shift into one, does that mean you also have multiple hearts? Or do you maintain your human physiology?

He’s probably not getting any answers, because there’s no real way to find out without some very invasive experiments that you most definitely would not be okay with

Overall he just kind of accepts that it’s something you can do, but if anyone else can do it then he’ll still be incredibly skeptical of them (this is solely a you thing, in his mind, if that makes sense)

He loves when you shift into other people to help him rehearse scenes for whatever show he’s going to be in

And he adores the fact that you can get away with so much without being caught

He’ll always be absolutely terrified when you turn into a typically aggressive animal, and will never not scream in the highest pitch you’ve ever heard

So it’s best not to lounge around the house as a lion

She’s absolutely delighted to find out that you can shapeshift, but disappointed to learn that it’s not something she can learn to do as well

With that being said, she likes to request different animals to see you shift into them

She’s super supportive of you being whatever or whoever makes you most comfortable

So whenever she comes home to see a strange person or animal lounging around the house, she doesn’t even look twice

With your assistance, she’s pulling a long running prank on Julian— who doesn’t know your a shapeshifter— by asking you to look like a different person every time she meets up with him

She introduces you as her partner every time, and pretends that you’ve always looked that way to confuse him

The poor man has stayed up for nights on end trying to figure out what’s going on

Immediately planning how he can use your powers to his advantage

The pranks he could pull, the political figures he could gaslight, the controversies he could start… so many options

He makes sure to introduce you to plenty of powerful authorities of foreign nations so you can impersonate them whenever you please

Is that morally correct? No. But he thinks it’s funny

Technically you could also use your powers for good, but you’ll need to be the one to decide to do that, because Lucio thinks the path of evil would be much more entertaining

If you wanna give him a taste of his own medicine, feel free to shapeshift into him and make a fool of yourself in public

Or shift into one of his beloved animals, and when he comes to pet you, shift into something really big and scary

When the two of you aren’t causing problems, he likes to ask you to shift into whatever beautiful creature comes to mind

This can be anything from a peacock to a lion depending on the day

If you’re up for it, he’d love to brag about your powers to anyone who will listen

You’re the absolute coolest, and he wants everyone to know it

He’s permanently worried that you’ll shift into something really small and he’ll accidentally squish you

Like he won’t even kill mosquitos anymore, even if you’re literally standing beside him

He’s just a tad paranoid, the poor dear

He prefers when you shift into larger animals

Especially ones he doesn’t have to worry about harming, like bears

Honestly prefers to cuddle you when you’re in the form of a giant cuddly animal

Inanna is also a huge fan of this

It freaks Muriel out a bit when you shift into other people

It stresses him out, so he asks that you don’t change your human form too often

If you’d like to shift into a smaller animal, he’d like to carry you around on his shoulder so he knows where you are

Also asks if you can shift into a chicken to tell him what his chickens are gossiping about

Thinks your abilities are absolutely amazing, and is constantly encouraging them

If you’re not around, he talks to every animal as if it were you

He does this to some people too, but only if they look like a form you’ve shifted into before— it can be pretty awkward

One time you went on a trip alone that lasted a few days longer than expected

When you came home, you found Asra cuddled up with a very friendly raccoon that he had accidentally mistaken for you

He doesn’t like to talk about that incident, but it’s one of your favourite memories

Since he’s so supportive, shifting forms dozens of times throughout the day feels perfectly natural for you (assuming there’s no energy/magic strain)

No matter what form you’re in, Asra absolutely loves to cuddle with you

Big animals are perfect for curling up against, smaller ones can be cradled close to his chest, and human forms are just right for the good old fashioned types of cuddles

Faust’s favourites are the big animals with lots of fur or hair because you make a perfect bed for her

She’s very curious about the nature of shapeshifting

She wants to know everything about it, such as its limits, combinations, and fundamental anatomy changes

But mostly she just enjoys your incredible magic

She makes sure you have plenty of clothes that are loose, adjustable, or easy to remove so that you don’t accidentally destroy them when you shapeshift

She also makes sure your room is very accessible regardless of your physical form

Whenever she’s alone and an animal approaches her, she makes polite conversation with it, just in case it’s actually you

She asks that you not impersonate anyone she personally knows, as it makes her a bit uncomfortable

The only exception is if you want to impersonate an ignorant jerk who annoyed her to make fun of them in private

Perhaps her favourite form that you can take is that of a bird

Watching you fly high in the sky, completely free of the world below you is very inspiring to her

if he really delves deeper into it though, yoongi would know that the reason he’s so nervous for this conversation with you is because he doesn’t want to fight with you

you’d only have occasional tiffs and arguments ever once in a while, but never a fight!!

he’s not assuming that your conversation would turn into a fight, but that possibility scares him still because what if he loses you?

all that yoongi does is take you to his chest the moment your body feels limp with the sigh that escapes you, a knowing body of tears coming next

your parents’ divorce is the furthest thing from fresh but the impact it placed on you renews without warning, the thoughts coming in waves

they were sure to reiterate over and over again that it wasn’t your fault, but god the way that they never even bothered afterwards made you think otherwise

“i-i just feel like a placemarker and neither of them came back for me, y’know? don’t get me wrong, i love my aunt to pieces and she’s family and-“

your faint sobs rack your ribs and yoongi can feel them, a relief that your face is buried to his shoulder so that you wouldn’t see him cry

they are but deep down, you know it’s a whole other ball game

“b-but that’s because you’re unrelated to me. i don’t remind any of you of the other. i’m not your daughter.”

it really wasn’t as harsh as how your words cut out, but it just breaks yoongi’s heart to know how difficult is must have been and is for you

you mumble when you calm down enough, playing with a loose thread on the cardigan you’ve gifted him on his birthday this year

“jungkook didn’t know that sore spot. he couldn’t have, but i’m not defending him either, yoongi.”

you mean it with full sincerity and he’s trying to digest your words as best as he could before his bias gets the best of him

“it’s on him for being horrible to me, but it’s on me for relating what he said to what i felt a long time ago.”

yoongi opens and closes his mouth, but before he does, you’re lifting your head up to interrupt him

“use the sleeves to wipe your snot, dumbo. it’s not even that expensive!!” you chuckle when you urge him to do so, making him both frustrated and sheepish because his goddamn snot interrupted you

you lean on his shoulder and stay that way, this time being a rare occurrence in which you cling to him like a koala

“and i know that he shouldn’t have said those things to me either way. i do.”

yoongi nods at that, capturing his point fully

he insists on patting you on the forehead, drawing circles and definitely not a penis as he drawls his words

“he can’t take back what he said, y/n.”

“but that doesn’t mean he can’t redeem himself, yoongs.”

you offer him a timid smile, turning into a bigger one when you know just the right approach to satiate him enough

“jungkook taking accountability is the bare minimum, though,” you chuckle when he nods eagerly to the point he gives himself whiplash, “which is why i’m being smart and haven’t fully forgave him yet.”

Ah, I answered that here. But I'll go into a bit more detail, I suppose.

Sans is just a blushing mess. He doesn't really know why Mc would want to dress up as him, as he.... he's obviously kind of useless (as Taylor's said), but he really finds it cute. He'd help her make a smaller replica of his usual outfit, the whole thing reminding him of when he'd help Papyrus make his costumes.

Papyrus is ecstatic! And very, very flattered. He.. doesn't really know why she'd want to dress up as him either, since obviously no one... really wants to be around him anymore (as Taylor's said), but he's going to pretend he does! He'll help her make a battle body just like his old one, and he really understands why Sans liked to help with his costumes now! This is fun! .... Blue is blushing and really enthusiastic about this! That is adorable! Someone actually wants to dress up like him! And it's Mc! He.. He must be doing something right then, if Mc actually likes him enough to want to dress up as him. He's really flattered by it and it makes his SOUL warm. He'll help her of course, even offering to make his battle body instead if she's interested.

Stretch is blushing, he's blushing and kind of hiding in his hoodie. That's... that's real cute. He.. doesn't really know what he's done that makes her want to dress up as him, but if that's really what you want Honeybee, who's he to stop you? He'll help out with the costume, but Blue (who would still be delighted by this and literally dying of cuteness with a camera ready) would be helping the most out of the two.

Red would be playing it cool and like he doesn't really care, even asking Mc why the hell she'd want to dress up as a bum like him. But honestly he's really flattered and getting all the warm fuzzies. Mc wanting to dress up like him really proves that at least she likes him (since no one else does, like Taylor said) and maybe looks up to him a bit? He wont ever show it outwardly, but he really finds it adorable and he'll keep a picture in his wallet for the rest of his life.

Edge would bluster about it. Of course Mc would want to dress up like him for Halloween, who wouldn't? Obviously he's the coolest skeleton, it's no surprise. But it's all just a façade. His whole face would be red, very flattered and filling with affection for Mc. He'd help her with the costume, just to make sure she gets all the details right. Not! Because he wants to, just to make sure it's done properly! And he definitely doesn't want to picture, don't ask him! Yes he does. Give him one anyway and he'll cry about it in his room from all the warm fuzzies and affection he's feeling.

Black pretty much has the same reaction as Red and Edge combined. He gets a lot of warm fuzzies from it and is really flattered, though he doesn't know why Mc would want to dress up as him. But he'd pretend to be all confident, acting like it was a no brainer that she'd want to dress up as him. But he'd definitely be having a lot of feelings and not knowing what to do with them. He'd help Mc with the costume, of course. Dying over how cute she looks. Mutt would secretly be taking a lot of photos that Black would kill him for, but end up keeping in a drawer of his desk. Treasuring them forever.

Mutt would be a blushing mess. He doesn't get it, he really doesn't, but if it's what she wants then he'll go along with it. He enlists Black help with it, but he'll be blushing the entire time. He'll definitely keep a photo in his wallet, always getting that warm fuzzy feeling when he sees it again.

Grey would immediately turn blue and start crying. That.. is adorable and of course he'll help, but give him a moment to collect himself again! He's real flattered that Mc would even consider dressing up like him for Halloween. It means he... must be doing something right if she likes him enough. And even if it is just that he's scarier than the others, the way Mc looks so proud in that little version of his clothes just makes him feel all warm inside.

Lunar will start crying too. It's so flattering! And he.. hasn't had the best self image as of late, so the fact that this small little human child likes him and thinks he's cool enough to dress up as is going to melt his heart. He'd be happy to help you make the costume! Just don't mind the tears, he just has something in his eye socket! .... He definitely wants a picture too!

Vitalius/Astasus: He thinks it’s the coolest thing in the world - you look so pretty! He’s impressed with the patience it takes to grow out long hair, and he’s impressed with how well you take care of yourself.

He reaches up to his cropped hair, squinting when he can’t even grab a strand. “Do you think I can do that - grow out my hair?” He asks you. “Do you like that kind of thing? I can try it out if you want me to.”

Eratine: He will spit out whatever’s in his mouth whether it be a drink, food, or his own spit. He chokes. Literally can’t handle it - it was gross enough when he thought you were pretty for a girl. Pretty as a boy? His poor brain explodes. He can’t handle it.

He sputters, wiping at his burning face. “Who you trying to impress, new kid? This ain’t no runway! No one here to bat your eyes at! Go be prett - I mean ugly, somewhere else!”

Bernadine: Unimpressed - she’s seen prettier. If only you were the first boy she mistook for a girl at first, Nonnatus being the first. Though she is somewhat interested in the products you use on your hair.

She shrugs, not even bothering to look up from her book. “Your hair is nice, I guess. Do you use special products to care for it? I’ve heard certain oils are good for scalp health.” She appears to be immune to your charms.

Brigid/Hesychia: Ha! Finally, someone who actually cares about deportment! About time! The other boys just don’t get it! She will offer to brush your hair for you if you brush hers in return - she has various homemade oils and creams she uses on her skin that she’s excited to show you. She’ll even let you use some if you do her chores in return.

“A boy?” She asks, wonderment gleaming in her wide eyes. “Oh, what a God-send you are! Tell me your tricks - your hair is so long, and your face positively glows! Truly, what a breath of fresh air.”

Miki-Tane: He’s amazed - another one? Amazing. His mind is going a mile a minute with the pranks you could play on people. Pretty girls are a dime a dozen in Ehrenreich, but pretty boys? One of two, and the other one is no fun - his heart is racing. He’s excited.

“What, for real? That’s awesome - do the wardens know?” He asks, slitted eyes blown wide with excitement. “’Cause if they don’t, we can have some real fun, you and I.”

Diacinth: He’s too nervous to talk at the best of times, but you’re pretty? The stutter comes out in full force. You’re pretty and he mistook you for a girl? He wants to die from embarrassment. How could you ever forgive him? He wants to fade away. He’s worried he’s offended you beyond what could ever be forgiven, and won’t be able to get out a single word should you talk to him.

You try and approach him during study time in the library only for him to vanish from sight. He knocks over a table and a desk in his hurry to leave, promptly passing out the second he reaches the dorms.

Nonnatus: Ah, the original resident pretty boy. Honestly, he’s glad. Someone to take the mantle - one he never wanted - off his head. He’s got better things to do than put up with the antics of the others, and he’s more than glad to pawn them off to you. He’s embarrassed for all of two seconds before he’s guiding the more excitable students in your direction. 

“Keep your distance,” he tells you, a blush crawling down his neck and tinting his ears. “I do not want the others to get ideas. Leave me be.”

Babysitting in the Devildom- Mammon and Levi: MINE! VS ME TOO!

You and Lucifer reached the livingroom, where everyone was supposed to be watching Solomon's magic show.

Supposed to be.

However the only thing that may have resembled a magic show would have been the smoke in the air.

Solomon was standing in the doorway of the kitchen, with a blackened pot of...something. You thanked the stars when you saw that Satan, was in fact not the cause of panic, as Simeon had taken it upon hinself to distract him with more cat videos. Asmo was in the corner, making faces at himself in a mirror you could only assume Solomon had materialized for him. Barbatos was trying to keep Luke calm and Diavolo looked close to tears as he sat on the floor near him. You could hear Beel and Belphie crying from the kitchen, but what concerned you the most were the two little demons quite literally throwing each other across the room.

"That doll is MINE!"

"First of all, she's a figurine, second of all, SHE'S NOT YOURS!"

Leviathan then used his tail to whip Mammon and run to you with what looked to be a plastic Ruri-chan figurine. However, his little legs didn't take him far enough, fast enough, as Mammon used his wings to propel himself forward and tackle Levi to the ground, where they continued to wrestle.

You felt Lucifer shift next to you. Before he was able to say anything to his brothers you knelt down to talk to him again. "Hey Luci. I know you wanted to help me with your brothers, but I need someone who knows how to be a friend. You see Diavolo? He seems kind of nervous being around so many kids he doesn't know. Do you know how you can help him?"

"Of course I do!" He huffed. With his priorities shifted, Lucifer made his way with confidence to Diavolo, as this was all too familiar chaos to him.

Now back to the other two, who were still going at it, however, it was clear Levi was getting tired. Mammon grabbed his wrist.

"Why ya punching yourself, huh? Huh? Why ya punching yourself? Ya see this doll?" Mammon ripped the figurine from Levi's other hand, dangled it in front of him and licked it. "It's MINE now."

"Eww! Levi don't touch it, it has yucky germs now. It has Mammon-cooties!!" Asmo piped up from his little corner.

"Shuddap Asmo! I got the doll now, I got the doll now, it's mine, all MINE!" Mammon danced around gleefully as he waved Ruri-chan through the air. Leviathan retreated to another corner in the room crying.

"What a crybaby! I bet he couldn't ev-"

"Mammon." Your voice rang with a clear warning.

"Uh-oh." Immediately, he started running away from you. You let him run. If he could still do that, then he wasn't badly injured, and Leviathan could be your priority. You gently placed a hand on his back, to which he flinched.

"O-oh, it's just you."

"Are you ok Levi? Did you get hurt?"

"N-no, not really. I just really like Ruri-chan, and Solomon summoned it for me because he told me you used your powers again to help him know what we like but then Mammon came over and tried to take it from me because he wanted to have the biggest toy pile in the universe, but I told him Ruri-chan was not a toy, and he said it looked like a doll and that I don't deserve to have cool toys so I should give it to him and that made me really mad because he does this all the time." Levi took a small, shaky breath. "I'm sorry I'm talking so much. You have better things to do than talk to someone like me.

"Levi, I need you to understand something." He turned so that he could see you a little better, despite having his head on his knees. "What is it?" He whispered, almost aftaid of the answer you would give him. "You are incredible, and I love and appreciate you for who you are. If there's anything you want to talk to me about- good or bad- please do! I love hearing your ideas and I want to help you, ok? Sometimes I might need you to wait a minute, but I will always make the time to listen to you, alright? Also, I can get Solomon to summon some more figurines for you, ok?"

He started crying again. He threw himself at you for a hug. "You're the best!" You held him for a moment before you registered that youstill had to find Mammon, check Beel and Belphie, make sure Lucifer wasn't smothering Diavolo, relieve Barbatos from baby duty, thank Simeon for helping with Satan, and reprimand Solomon for leaving them alone as well as ignoring what you said.

Ok Levi, I'm gonna go talk to Mammon."

"Ok." You stood up, but to your surprise, Levi latched himself to your leg. "If I stay close to you, nobody can spend more time with you than me! Lucifer already got time with you, so I need to have more time than him....even if it means seeing Mammon." You smiled down at him, ruffled his hair, and hobbled over to Barbatos. "Hey Barbatos. Thank you for helping with Luke. I know he can be fussy, I can take him back." Barbatos hesitated. "You know? I kind of like holding the baby. Maybe I can still hold him if I sit down?" You felt a bit of relief as Barbatos situated himself on the couch and reached out to accept Luke again. If he was content with the baby, it gave you two less children to worry about. You glanced over at Diavolo and Lucifer, who had found a deck of cards and were playing a game. They were fine for the time being, so you walked into the kitchen, where Solomon was still trying to make dinner despite the cries of the twins on the floor. You tried to keep yourself calm, as you didn't want to scare the kids by lashing out at the only other caretaker they had.

"Solomon." He stopped stirring the boiling monstrosity he had on the stove and turned to look at you. "What? You were taking a while with Lucifer, so I took the liberty to summon some toys and make dinner. You should be proud of me."

"Excuse me? I gave you very, VERY simple instructions to follow, and because you didn't listen, Mammon and Levi got into a fight, scared Diavolo, and the twins are bawling! Simeon and Barbatos are being more of an adult than you are! And your "dinner" isn't edible, not even by baby Beel standards!" You felt a tug on your pant leg. You hadn't noticed, but the twins had made their way to you, but Levi made it impossible for them to grab the same leg he was on.

Solomon was quiet. You sighed. "Look, I'm sorry for yelling at you. Let's just order some dinner. Also...do you know if the twins are wearing diapers?" Your face contorted in disgust as one of the twins sat on your foot, to which the texture was unpleasant.

"Uh..."

"Great! To make it up to me, you can change them and order dinner. I'm going to go find Mammon."

But I-" you walked away, and headed in the direction Mammon had run, stopping to thank Simeon on the way, and to have Levi readjust hinself on your leg so you could walk faster. You walked for a while, Levi still holding onto your leg. You sighed after about ten minutes of looking. You looked down at Levi. "I guess he'll come back when he's ready, huh?" Levi nodded, then shook his head, leaving you confused. He cleared his throat, tightened his grip on your leg. and whispered, "I have an idea." "I GET TO BE WITH MC AND YOU DON'T! MC'S GONNA GET ME MORE FIGURINES THAN YOU! I GET MORE TIME WITH M-" You were brought down from behind, Levi getting out of the way before you fell on top of him.

"SHUT UP LEVI! SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!" Mammon stood up straight, ready to pounce again in his demon form, while Levi hid behind your recovering form. "MC IS THE COOLEST PERSON WE'VE EVER MET AND YOU MADE THEM ANGRY AT ME! NOW THEY HATE ME, AND LOVE YOU! I ALWAYS GET IN TROUBLE! I ALWAYS DO THE WRONG THING! AND THE ONE PERSON THAT I COULD HAVE TRIED TO BE OK WITH HATES ME! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING LEVI! JUST LIKE ALWAYS, JUst like always..." He choked out the last few words. His eyes were filled with tears he refused to shed in front of Levi. Tiny fists by his side, shoulders raised, and uneven breaths left him as he avoided your eyes. You could feel Levi bristling next to you at the weight of Mammon's accusation. You stood up and ruffled Levi's hair in an attempt to calm him down without using words. He locked eyes with you, and immediately backed down. He hid behind you again, glaring at Mammon, but he wasn't trying to kill him, so you considered it a win. Mammon still wasn't letting himself cry, using his sleeve to stop the tears from rolling down his cheeks. You knelt in front of Mammon and gently turned his face towards you. He stopped swiping at his tears, letting them finally fall as he held your hand in place on his face. You pulled him in to hug him, which he gladly accepted and buried his face into your shoulder. You gently stroked the back of his head while you held him. You stayed like that for a while before you spoke.

"....Mammon?"

He clung onto your shirt tighter, trying to hide his face even more. He started shaking, so you held him a little tighter, hushing him gently. After a few more minutes, you tried again.

"Mammon." His grip tightened again. "Hun, I'm not going to let you go, I just need you to know I'm not mad at you. I know it's hard for you to share. That's ok! I still think you're "THE GREAT MAMMON!!" Nothing will ever change that. I know that you're a good kid." Mammon hadn't moved at all.

"....why? Why are you being so nice? Even my own brothers think I'm a bad kid. I'm always the bad kid. I don't know why, but I always want more. I don't care what it is, but I always want more and I always end up upsetting everyone. So why even try and be a good kid? Lucifer's the good kid, Levi's the shy kid, Asmo's the cute kid, and the twins are the youngest, so it doesn't matter what they do! And they always tell me I'm dumb and scummy! And I am dumb because I don't even know what scummy means! Even Asmo knows! And he's four! I-....I need a friend. Lucifer is already talking to the cool kid in red, the green hair guy likes babies and I don't want to get close to the baby like the other guy......so guess what? You get to be my friend! You're not allowed to say no!!" You blinked a couple times. Kids are confusing. You weren't quite sure how Mammon had reached that topic after just spilling his guts, but you tried to keep up. You didn't want to bring up his other comments again, worried about making him upset. All you knew was that Mammon needed a protection squad, even if said "squad" was just you alone.

"Of course I'll be your friend! Maybe...maybe the "Great Mammon" will even let me be his best friend?" He pushed away from you, flashing his million dollar smile. "Oh, maybe. I'll have to think about it." Levi cleared his throat behind you. "Hey, I thought I was your best friend!!"

"YOU'VE BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME?!" Mammon yelled. Levi just nodded. He bit his lip, looking unsure of something, then launched himself at Mammon. You were going to intervene, however, the fighting didn't ensue as you had thought. Instead a very emotional Levi had his arms wrapped around his big brother.

"....You know, if you can be nice, I can share my figurines with you. Then we can have the biggest...um..toy pile in the universe....and you're actually a pretty good big brother when you're not taking my stuff. Remember that time you got my comics back from Lucifer? That was really cool. I want to be cool like you, because I know I'm not anywhere near as cool and-" Your hand on his shoulder was enough to settle him down. Mammon was in a state of shock, then started to boast.

"Of course ya wanna be like me! I'm the Great Mammon! And...uh, you're actually not bad.....ok you're pretty cool too. Thanks for giving me another chance."

And audible sigh of relief left your lips as the three of you made your way back to the main area, where everything seemed relatively calm. Simeon was still keeping an eye on Satan, however he had been dealt into the game Diavolo and Lucifer were playing. Lucifer was sitting almost behind Diavolo in order to distance himself from Satan, and waved, smiled and gave a thumbs up when you walked in. You returned the gestures in turn, and checked on Barbatos, who was playing peek-a-boo with Luke. Asmo was still making faces at himself. Mammon and Levi strted playing nicely together with the toys Solomon had summoned for Mammon. You walked into the kitchen to find that Solomon had cleaned it. You found him on the floor "playing" with the twins. He was summoning food almost non-stop for Beel and Belphie was asleep on the floor next to him.

"Oh, hey." Solomon greeted you. "Hey. How's it going?" You plopped down next to Solomon as he summoned another snack for Beel. You watched in amusement as Beel worked his way through a slice of watermelon that was nearly double his size. "It's fine...I'm sorry, I didn't listen to you." You forgave him and just took in the stillness of the moment.

Again, the stillness of the moment.

And then the yell came.

From Asmo.

You turned to Solomon as Asmo's message rang loud and clear.

Oh boy.
