6/10, I absolutely hate her writting and has devolved into a mary sue who only reacts to everything around her while her mass of supporters never shut up about great she is. Her synopsis claiming her as someone who loves all her subjects gets contradicted when its shown she doesnt really care about the slaves.

BUT in season 1 she wasn't bad, I liked her resolve and it was when she actually cared for her people, I feel like if we got to see a clear backstory beyond "she wasn't allowed outside when she studied to be empress" I would understand her total apathy more.

7/10, I adore villains, especially villainous protagonists and at first I liked the idea she wouldn't be any better than her family but still had a soft spot for Arabella, she loses a few points because it turns out she's excused for killing people before in the name of "love" and is viewed as someone who can do no wrong.

10/10, she's like Navier but better, she has more noticeable flaws and while she is a kick ass warrior during the tower arcs she still is human and can't always take it alone without consequences, she acknowledges Diane's struggles and makes an effort not to be her enemy and is proof that you dont need to make FL overpowered gods to be strong women. A beautifully made FL in a underrated story

1/10, She doesn't divorce her husband despite the title literally being "I will divorce my tyrant husband." But that's more of a problem in most other manhwa. She's too much of a perfect epic goddess for me and most of all she does the whole "buying all the slaves but giving them a home." to make her look even better, what is with manhwa and inserting slavery for no other reason other than to make the FL look better?

Other than being a mary sue and a personality that only revolves around the latest sexy man, she legit forces another guy to join her haram by threatening diplomatic war on his kingdom and bodyshames her fiance but all of a sudden wants him more than ever when he loses weight, it took a random chick being inserted with a 🍇ist persona to make her look "better."

6/10, in any other story, this girl would've been despised by the fandom for being a homewreaker/pick me. She gives me so much second hand embarrassment but she's not terrible, I actually really like her design too. Not a fan of the kidnapper-hostage relationship she and the ML have though.

You do not know how happy I was when instead of immediately viewing Rhyse as a rival to defeat, she was actually nice to her and the chapters of them were so sweet, she even acknowledges that it isn't anyone's fault for acting out but the author who is pulling the strings.

For some reason I noticed on reddit and tiktok that she's getting hate for not standing up to herself or just not being the usual "girlboss" protagonist, did it not occur that she cant do much to a duke!? Layla deserves so much better and she needs to be far away from Matthias, I don't care if it's "dark romance" he is torturing her for his own pleasure.

The weekend flew by way faster than expected. You spent the entire time with your family, playing with your siblings as much as possible. The kids were so whiny about you leaving, holding onto your leg to trouble you from moving, so you had to just bribe them with, yet again, more ice cream to let you go. 

The next Monday, early morning, you sprinted to the office, hoping to be the first one to work. You pant as you reach your office room, dusting your skirt as you peek through the door, checking for anyone. Lucky for you, you found the room filled with empty desks, meaning no one was here at the moment. 

“This is my chance!”  You hurry over to your desk. You sink in your chair and let out a sigh. You had been desperately trying to avoid someone. That's why you came earlier. That certain someone was… 

The sound of the door opening is heard, as well as Shoko, who had come shortly after you, greeting someone. “Manager, you’re here early!” She gives him a small head bow. “Good morning.” She adds.

Kamo Choso was who you were, now hiding under your desk from. You cover your mouth, trying to make as little to no sound as possible, while you hear his footsteps from the other side of your desk. Zoning out as you try to refresh on  ‘very existent’ memories with him, as to why you need to hide from him.

You were left on the floor, hissing in pain and holding your head, wishing the world could suck you into the ground and hide you from the embarassment.  Your name is heard as someone tries to check up on you. “You alright? Did you hit your head hard?”

His arm was on the edge of your desk, the position making you pretty much trapped with how close he was as well.. 

You can feel your face instantly burn up, you weren’t even able to finish your sentence. Holding your breath from the sudden closeness, you just stare at him. He just had to be doing this on purpose! Oh, and it only gets worse for you. 

“That was loud, let me take a look.” He says so casually while you can basically die from the embarrassment mixed with the butterflies flipping your insides all over the place. 

“I’m fine, sir! There isn’t even a scratch!” You try to move away ever so slightly but he is already tucking your hair behind an ear. 

“Shh..” He shuts you up. “Stay still for me.” He adds, and of course you do as he says.  His large hand is now on your shoulder, keeping you in place as he leans even closer to you, examining your head. You  were able to smell his cologne, taking in his scent like some weirdo, and oh god- This guy smells just as good as he looks. 

He finally leans back after what felt like eternity. “Your head looks fine, that’s very good.” He hums and looks at you for a few seconds. You give him an awkward thumbs up. 

“Is that so?” You chuckle to brighten the mood a bit. “Well I'm rock hard down here!!!” You annonce, trying to say your head was hard enough  to not get hurt, allowing the entire office to hear your statement sounding way out of context.

“I’m so cooked, I’m fucking doomed!” You cursed at yourself in your head. “That was so embarassing!!”  Your hair was all messed up with how hard you gripped it in dispare. 

Your hands finally slid down to your lap, releasing the top of your head as you mentally ball your eyes out. In your delusional head, you saw a flashback of when Choso was kneeled down in front of you, making sure you were okay, just instead of him saying what he actually said, you hear him say, “Man you're so sexy, darling. Don’t be going around hurting that pretty head of yours.”   

A bright flush of heat fills your cheeks as you thought about that scenario. It wasn’t even real, yet you wish it was deep down. “He has a sturdy chest..”  You thought, not learning from your past experiences which were supposed to teach you that a good body can’t mean anything good.  A man could have the body of a greek god, like for example Choso, yet be the biggest red flag known to mankind

“...but then again, he ran up to me instantly! It has got to be my irresistible charms.” You thought to yourself, grinning a bit at the conclusion you came to. “He literally wants me so bad, doesn’t he?” . You hum cheekily.

Meanwhile as you doze off to your thoughts, Satoru is maniacally wheezing in the bathroom, that he ran off to so he can laugh all he wanted, after what you said.  He has the most broken sense of humor ever. He was a literal man-child.

Time flew by quickly as you looked out the glass windows around you, noticing that it was already dark outside. You finished up the last bit of work you had left, all of your colleagues, including Choso, probably left since the office was empty. 

You finished up in the next few minutes and packed up to go home to the comfort of your bed while you caught up on the show you loved so very much. You walked out the building and were met with the chilly breeze, the wind hitting your exposed neck, sending shivers through your whole body. 

You sigh and start walking towards the direction of your place, just wanting to quickly get home. Only a few steps in, and you hear your name being called out, as well as a car driving by right beside you. The voice was far too familiar as you turned your head to see, the one and only, Kamo Choso. 

“Are you walking home?” He asked as he looked at you through the rolled down window.  Before you can even reply, he stopped his car and walked out from the driver's seat, moving to the other side and opening the passenger door. “Come. I’ll give you a ride.” He said with the slightest smile, but of course, his eyes were as empty as ever.

You blink a few times before shaking your head quickly, stepping back a bit. “N-no! It’s okay, I’ll ride the subway!” You decline, feeling way too uncomfortable to drive with him. To you, this offer felt like he was asking you to have sex with him or something. 

“Just get in. I’m doing it because I want to.” He insists.

“It’s not that far, I’m seriously fine!” You talk back.

His face dropped into complete seriousness as a small frown played on his lips. “If you don’t like being around me, then that's okay i guess, don’t get in.” 

The next thing you know, you’re in the passenger seat of your manager's car, driving in complete awkward silence. This guy really has a talent for messing with people, you only agreed since it was such an offer from a boss, could you really say no? 

The silence was broken as he called out you name, and fuck  you love hearing him say that. You don’t even look at him, as your face is bright red. “Yes?” You ask as you straighten yourself up a bit in your seat.

His head was faced towards the road, yet he glanced at you as he spoke. “Your face tells me there is something you want to ask me.” He points out, your palms were so sweaty from nervousness, you could just throw up right then and there. “Your easy-to-read face is really cute.” He adds which only made things ten times worse for you. 

It was probably unhealthy from how high your heart rate was. No way he just said that. You try to keep your emotions calm and neutral, but you are visibly failing to do so. You grip the hem of your  skirt and pull hard on it, your knuckles turning white from how hard you gripped. Were you going to be bold and act all cool? Yeah, because mama didn’t raise no pussy. 

“What about you..?” You began, biting the inside on your cheek. “Don’t you have something to tell me?” You blurt out, glancing at him. 

“There is. Something that I want to tell you...” He says, even cooing your name at the end. 

You look away from him, your hair covering his view of your beet-red face. “It’s… it’s so unfair, Choso…” You begin, “..when you know how I feel, yet you say something like that..” You continue, mentally preparing yourself for what you were about to tell him. You squeeze your eyes shut and just decide to get over it once and for all. 

“That’s right… I- I like you!” You blurt out. “Are you happy now?!” You add, not looking at him, blushing like crazy as if this was your first ever confession. Choso pulls up in front of your place, parking and then turning to you, grabbing a loose strand of your hair and playing with it a bit.

“It’s my turn to talk, isn’t it now?” He says as you glance up at him, seeing that annoyingly cute little grin on his face. “Do you seriously not remember me?” He asks, taking you aback with the sudden question. Was he going on about the time at the station again? Right now?

“We went to the same school.” He finally tells you, making you flinch and turn to him in complete confusion .  

Same school? Tats can’t be? If he really did go to the same school as you, why don’t you recognize him? Plus, why is he bringing this up now? Right after you confessed the fact that you like him…?

I don't like their designs either. But I'm not sure how many there are that like them vs how many are there that dislike them. Generally a lot of Japanese and Chinese fans think Boruto should end already, but I haven't seen them comment on the kids looks.

Kishi used to draw cute kids. I might not like Sakura, but as a kid she's cute.

And I don't need to mention Sasuke and Naruto as kids are adorable. Boruto kids are just lazy bad designs.

I've been passing the time reading lots of romance manhwas and mangas recently and I just have some recs for anyone interested!:

(A few small notes:

I'm not recommending any erotica/explicit mangas/manhwas mainly bc I don't really want to. Some of my recs will have scenes but it's definitely not the main focus. They're just not my cup of tea.

This includes multiple genres under the romance tag such as: historical, comedy, action, fantasy, and BL)

ANYWAY, HERE YOU GO:

"The Savior's Book Cafe Story in Another World" by Kyōka Izumi and Oumiya [MANGA, FANTASY, ISEKAI, ADULT ROMANCE, COMPLETE]

ASHDJI When I first began to read this, I was expecting a crap ML because I'm pretty used to the ML treating the FL like trash. But, nope! The FL, Tsukina Mizumori, is actually a competent adult! She gets transported into a new world as it's "savior" (sort of like how some stories will transport their MCs as saintess'), but she isn't interested in saving the world. Instead, she opens her very own book café! I won't say anything else bc it might spoil the story, but it's very fluffy and sweet! (WARNING: There is a second ML, but I doubt you'll get second lead syndrome and it doesn't interfere with the main couple! We love responsible, capable adults!)

"Ooh La La" by Jemin [MANHWA, COMEDY, FLUFF, SLICE-OF-LIFE, COMPLETE]

I just happened to stumble upon "Ooh La La" online and I ended up really enjoying it! It goes through the ups and downs of a Gom-Yung and Min-Han's relationship, but with barely any angst. One of the most non-toxic couples I've read about! It's very slice-of-life-ish and a fun read!

"Beta Off Not Dating" by Doojja, MINTRAN, Saena [MANHWA, ROMANCE, BL, OMEGAVERSE, ADULT ROMANCE, COMPLETE] [WARNING: MENTIONS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND ABUSE IN THIS PASSAGE]

I typically don't really like reading about the omegaverse because of non-consensual topics that are overlooked and dressed as "romantic" and "sexy" (and really, in the BL genre, this is quite common, unfortunately). But I believe that "Beta Off Not Dating" does a good job on addressing it! For the first time I've seen, the ML is a beta who isn't interested in dating after seeing the alpha/omega relationships around him go absolutely nuts. It's sort of like a parody of typical omegaverse manhwas and it doesn't dress heavy topics such as relationship abuse and sexual assault romantically. Instead, the ML recognizes them and addresses them accordingly (Note: the abuse/assault does NOT happen between the main couple. On another note: the side couple is toxic as hell and I would not recommend reading the sequel if you don't want to see them).

There is some explicit sex, but it also happens in the sequel :D (Is this really just me not recommending the sequel?? Ehhh yess?? Take this with a grain of salt bc it really just wasn't my cup of tea.)

"The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity" OR, ALTERNATELY, "Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku" by Saka Mikami [MANGA, FLUFF, ROMANCE, SLICE-OF-LIFE, SCHOOL LIFE, ONGOING]

...This manga... is hands down one of the best mangas I've ever read. It's just so beautiful I can't even put it into words. The main couple isn't toxic, they genuinely love each other, and I really feel like I can see the awkward high schooler aspect without feeling like "Oh, that's- that's a toxic relationship right there". Not only the main couple, but all the side characters are so damn loveable that I just want to scream into the night about how I wish the best for all of them. It addresses the different issues and insecurities that the characters feel and makes them all feel real and well-rounded. This is probably one of the only mangas I would give a genuine 10/10. I'm SO serious when I say give this a read. I wish I could read this for the first time again. I felt like a changed person after reading it.

"Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!" by Yuu Toyota [MANGA, BL, OFFICE LIFE, FLUFF, ADULT ROMANCE, ONGOING] [WARNING: BRIEF EXPLICIT MENTIONS]

The title may seem extremely suspicious, but I promise you it's not what it seems. Adachi Kiyoshi, the MC, turns 30 years old and, because he's still a virgin, gains the power to read minds when he touches someone. When he accidently bumps into his handsome co-worker that everyone seems to love, he finds out he's got a crush on him!

I really love this manga because the romance feels genuine and, for a genre that doesn't seem to care about consent, takes the relationship slow and both partners respect and love each other! Consent is key!!

(Is there sex scenes? Yes. Are they brief and not super explicit?? Also yes!)

I highly recommend this for those who want to read a good BL manga but don't want to just read sex. Each character grows as a person (and the side couple is cute, too!)

A 10 out of 10 from me!! (+ there's an anime if any of you are interested!)

I will forever praise hayeon-nim, the artist for YM on her brilliant character designs (pt 1) In the novel, we don't really get a description of Lari. Basically, she's cute, light brown hair and eyes, thin. Lari herself thinks she she's short, limp and dull hair, stick figure, maybe chubby in TL2 because she eats better. Basically she has such low self esteem that she thinks shes unattractive, and with Rupert telling her how she's a dumpling, she just accepts it as truth :(. But later on, in Vol 4/5, we see Rupert's thoughts on her physical appearance, and it's pretty cute to hear how positively he sees her. He thinks she's cute when she was 12, and he thinks she's really pretty once she matured and grew up. He LOVEs her hair. He thinks it's a nice warm comfortable color, it's very soft, fluffy, and nice to touch. When he sees it swaying in the wind, he just wants to touch it - he's just compelled to touch and grab it for no reason besides "it's nice" (like in manhwa chapter 93; he's a guy that keeps respectable distance away from her so he very rarely touches her like that ^^). She is on the petite side (small), but he thinks its ok because she's the perfect huggable size for him - there's a comment a few times that when he hugs her, she's a perfect fit in his arms :3 She has large round eyes and very dense facial features that show what she's thinking - she's clearly able to show her happiness, sadness, annoyance, worry etc. She has naturally round, blushing red cheeks and red lips that don't need makeup, but still pretty to look at. He's often described her as "white, soft, and round" - basically fair skin color, pale eyes and hair, and overall round/curvy. He never said it himself, but Madame Arbe once said that Lari has a rather "sexy" figure, which Im sure rupert would agree with - she probably has a nice chest, thinner waist, and proportional hips. When chapter 60 came out, I, along everyone else, was rather shocked at Lari's glow-up. I DID NOT, expect for her to have such a nice chest. But that makes sense for her design - she's overall supposed to be "soft, fluffy, round" to compliment Rupert's "sharp, angled" character. I just love Lari's manhwa design - she's just so fluffy, cute, huggable, and bouncy. She just radiates "soft!" to me :D :D

Oshiete Kudasai Fujishima-san - this is GOOD. Consent is great, the male lead is hot, the sex is actually really good and not the same scene repeated 50 times! But... the female lead... this one comment sums it up:

(Rio being the female lead) But I still recommend it!

2. Hapi Mari - This one is really nice! I like the character dynamics, it is not super explicit but the characters are sketched out pretty well. Slightly dumber female lead, but its not as bad as the previous one!

3. Osananajimi Bartender to Hajimeru Kaikan Lesson - short I think, the art style is not to my liking. But the characters are so nice, and the side characters are sweet! And they have this 'cocktail language' that is very cutely used hehe, good read! And CONSENT!!!

Tada no Renai nanka de Kikkonai: Kojirase Joushi to Fetish na Buka (We Can't Do Just Plain Love: She's Got a Fetish, Her Boss Has Low Self-Esteem) - The title is pretty funny lmaoooo and I love this manga the most of them all!! This female lead is TO DIE FOR. The concept of this manga is really fun, so this is honestly such a hidden gem. I highly recommend this.

5. Talk To Me - this is actually a manhwa, so the art style takes some time to get used to. Also a little slow, not much happens each chapter, but its a very cute light-hearted read, smexy smexy though! The 2 couples are written very well, so I am currently enjoying this quite a bit ehehe

As for anime, my recommendation of Kaichou Wa Maid Sama still stands!! It's a good anime, and the manga left me in tears <3 Other than that, here are some of my favs that fit your taste (none of these are erotica like the mangas, but they're still very funny):

i have this one google docs document where i ranked all of the bs characters, in order, for a prospective video (i’m not actually doing it since i realized it requires me to use my voice and i’m uncomfortable with that right now)

the most impressive thing to me was that i struggled with tons of placements, changed several sets of characters around, with the bottom five fluctuating wildly even before i had to mentally address camilo’s deal, and even the top ones changing around as i asked myself if i really liked lenox more than shoichi

but isol never moved from the top spot. every time i went “nonono no way isol’s my favorite” and tried to move it around i instinctively felt i liked him over whoever i tried to rank him under and wound up putting him right back

i don’t know why i like him this much or where in time i started liking him so much, but i do, and whenever i see an isol player i immediately hope they succeed no matter what other variables are there in the situation, sometimes even if it means i’m gonna die by c-4

i have not actually played him more than, like, twice in erbs and never played him entirely seriously in isbs though. so anyone that disagrees can definitely take it with a grain of salt

- This causes the Prince to seek her out cause somehow her fanfic has improved his tarnished image. And the second prince's family wants her dead.

• Midnight Poppy Land

- The female lead isn't a typical skinny girl but an adorable chubby girl who, despite making a lot bad decisions, strives to keep on living positively.

- Enter this big man who works for a mafia family. He goes to retrieve something this girl accidentally picked up but ends up having a crush.

• The Wrath and The Dawn

- a sort of retelling of the well-known tales from "1001 Nights" (i'm actually currently reading the books its based on)

- the Caliph of his country takes a new Bride every night & she is killed off by the next morning.

- Enter the female lead, who volunteers to become one of these brides. She goes for revenge but will she stay for love?

- This one makes me feel really warm and fluffy but also sad at certain points.

- The male lead tells the story of how he met his muse, a mystical being of the seas and fell in love with them.

- Lots of adorable moments of this mystical creature learning their way around the human activities and trying to fit in amongst the creatures of land (the best part was when she discovers laptop and internet XD )

• The Remarried Empress

- The Emperor returns with a new lover after his battle and well, ofc its bound to upset his Empress.

- Enter the crown prince of neighboring nation. He immediately falls for the Empress. She likes him back but doesn't think its right to give up her duties as the empress for new-found love.

- a lot of angst, drama, politics, plotting and all that good stuff in a medieval setting romance.

• Secret Playlist

- an internet-based musician finds out she's classmates with a famous Kpop idol.

- funny thing is, she doesn't care much. But the kpop idol actually listens to her songs and is a big fan and wishes to collab.

- due to unprecedented circumstances, they have to work together and end up catching feelings.

• To Love Your Enemy

- Enemies to Lovers + Fake Dating

- Due to some bad history between them, the male lead absolutely doesn't like the female lead but sadly, they end up studying at the same college.

- the female lead is scared that the male lead will reveal her dark past and tarnish her image. So she tries to play friends with him to keep him from doing so.

- other students start thinking they're dating and so they themselves start fake dating, which ofc leads to them actually falling for each other XD

• Devil No. 4

- a girl who is completely tired of her lifestyle falls for the scheme of Devil (a real devil!)

- The devil's job is to lure his targets by the usual promises of lavish lifestyle and such. But this girl just won't have it. She wants happiness and well, in trying to satisfy his customer and get his job done..he ends up falling in love with her.

- But a devil and human aren't supposed to make such unions. A lot of shit goes down but its worth the read!

• Nice To Meet You

- an art student secretly uses a guy at her college as her muse. After the occurrence of some misunderstandings, they end up becoming friends and maybe..more?

- lighthearted with slight angsty moments but you won't be able to put it down.

- loads of meme material (their entire friends squad is so funny XD )

Ok hm,,, I don't know that I agree that all isekai romance webtoons would be up Hachi's alley. I think Hachi would primarily read webtoons that turned into drama and movies after - because I just think that is Hachi's major first interest. So things like 'True Beauty', 'What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim', and 'Love Alarm'.

She also reads some lesbian webtoons like 'Wish You Were Gone', 'What does the Fox Say', and 'Mojito' and those are ABSOLUTE secrets and make her feel some feelings before going,,, ANYWAY I AM TOTALLY NOT PICTURING ME IN ANY OF THESE SCENARIOS IM STRAIGHT

She would have some trashy historical webtoons (like 'Beatrice', 'Remarried Empress', and 'Under the Oak Tree') but I think Hachi just speed reads them, gushes and enjoys them unironically, and promptly forgets them when moving on to the next.

Hachi then recommends them to Nana who enjoys those trashy historical webtoons completely Ironically and but looooving the drama and laughing all the while lol.

At one point Nobu sees Nana reading 'Under the Oak Tree' and is scandalized but when Nana tells him it was under Hachi's recommendation he tries reading it but is mostly shocked and disillusioned lol

Tbh I pretty much know "girl" webtoons and idk most of the more actiony kinds. So my recs for even the guys will mostly slant that way... But hm, Nobu would like something like 'Magical 12th Graders', 'I'm Sorry Mother,' and 'Tower of God'. Gag series too. He might read a few of the sexy series that Shin recs but like... only with great shame

And yes our boy Shin... you know those terrible racy webtoons that are bad. Like 'I Have Twin Girlfriends' and 'My Stepmom.' he reads those and he dreams of having them dramatized. Also,, 'Cheating Men Must Die'

Yasu may read something like 'In Full Bloom'. Classy-like, lol.

Reira relates greatly to 'July Found By Chance' and it's her secret favorite because she cannot admit how keenly she relates to the main character.

Otherwise, Reira and Naoki mostly get highly into series like 'The Friendly Winter,' 'Sikeum Saekeum,' 'Can't See Can't Hear But Love,' and 'The Children's Teacher, Mr. Kwon.' They always start out reading series for the lulz but end up sobbing outright about them and being so attached to the characters. Basically, inspiration porn.

Takumi is a boring stick in the mud and doesn't read webtoons and tbh he doesn't deserve them.

Mai probably relates greatly to something like 'Spirit Fingers,' 'The Monster Duchess and Contact Princess,' and 'Tamen de Guchi.'

Asami: 'Touch your Heart' and 'Hell Hath no Fury' (Asami wouuuuld be perfect to play Nana in Hell Hath no Fury drama lol)

Miu: 'Nineteen, Twenty-One'

ooh ok ok i had several of u gyns ask me this!! i only just started getting into manhwa recently bc i ran out of isekai manga jskfgjjkfg so you have to understand that i. love isekai tropes. i love them so much. i love a female protagonist who is just so, so stupid and completely oblivious to the lead's or anyone else's romantic feelings bc she is Busy and has One Brain Cell. if you like bakarina from hamefura/my next life as a villainess, that's my genre ok. i do not typically like stories where the female lead falls in love first bc men don't deserve love unprompted, let's be real. men should exist to dote on women bc that's what i would do to atone for being male

so i'm gonna do my best w the titles bc i am completely new to korean and i'm gonna try to give the english titles that the scan teams use so they're easier to find. the main sites i've been using are ladymanga and manhwatop

my very favorite manhwa i've read is actually not an isekai but it's f/f historical fantasy and it's so good, it's called her tale of shim chong/her shim cheong. it's about a beggar girl who befriends a newly-wed bride of a powerful man, and their struggle to stay together and survive. it's really poignant and makes incredible insights on misogyny, but it's satisfying!

then there's doctor elise: the royal lady with the lamp/queen with a scalpel about a skilled surgeon with memories of a past life who ends up reincarnating back into that past life and deciding to become a doctor instead of marrying the prince. but this time around, he's the one in love w her bc she's so cool and smart hehe, but she is v busy being amazing at her job

the rest of these are still releasing so i have to wait :'( but i'm really into them so far. first one is a wicked tale of cinderella's stepmom/i raised cinderella preciously, where the protagonist wakes up as the evil stepmother from cinderella. so she decides she'll just get good marriages for all three of her girls and then live in a cottage somewhere, except cinderella meeting w the prince didn't go as planned and this baron dude and his "apprentice" are always hanging around them. i love this one bc she's kind of a sexy mama bear and the daughters are all surprisingly fleshed out and don't actually want to just follow the plot of cinderella lol

also i like i'm a stepmother but my daughter is just too cute which is similar to the previous one where the protagonist is now the wicked stepmother from snow white. but she was originally a children's clothing designer and snow white is adorable, so instead she dotes all over her. and it turns out the king has a reason for being cold to both of them. (trigger warning on this one for past implied sexual assault and pedophilia that is taken seriously - the abuser is deceased before the start of the story)

and finally i'm waiting on the villainess flips the script/it's time to change the genre, where a woman is reincarnated into her favorite revenge novel as the main character's abusive aunt. she plans to hand him off to his real uncle so he can get along with his story, but instead he gets so attached to her that she ends up joining him and pretending to be his mom so she can keep him and his uncle safe from the events of the novel. except things are playing out differently than the story she knows.

those have been all my favs so far!! based on this if any of you gyns think there's one i might like feel free to lmk so i can add it to my anilist lol

There's like side stories for characters and one of them is a pretty chubby lady and she's not a joke or anything like she's her own full-fledged character and the smut with her makes me feel desirable and sexy anyways i recommend the manhwa skskskks

So I just started reading this new manhwa (korean webcomic) called “The Way to Protect the Female Lead’s Older Brother” and I am convinced the author is a whumper. The plot is basically this whumper mafia family capture a guy and torture him (he’s a defiant whumpee!) and there’s a girl in the family that’s trying to protect him but has to hurt him so the family won’t get suspicious and find out what she’s doing.
