I am so sick of seeing people say the same shit about Minrathous/Treviso decesion. Its always them being mad that their actions have consequences. Yes Minrathous has defenses that could protect them from the dragon the point is the venatori coup which is made explicitly clear, you fight the dragon off so the other shadows can deal with the venatori.

Stop acting like you're morally superior for picking Treviso. Like what happens to Minrathous is actually worse. The Shadow Dragons an abolitionist group gets almost wiped out. Where as the crows a criminal organisation of contract murders who buy slaves to put through torture training are fine. Like four of them die none of them were significant characters and that kid was annoying as hell any ways.

Stop playing dumb, stop acting like Neve being upset is unreasonable when her friends are being hung in the streets. Treviso is a rich city in a rich country and its literally said in game when you do all the quests it will recover. Minrathous and I'm talking about the poor people, the good people, Neve's people are fucked. So stop acting like theres a morally correct answer because innocent people die whatever way you go.

My personal headcanon for how Lavellan got The Letter™ in Veilguard (and the game does seem to imply she gets it as it says Notes from the Inquisition at the top) is that Solas can use his connection to Rook to see/hear what’s going on to a certain extent if he wishes (which is how he knew Rook was in trouble during that one quest), and after Rook had the second talk with Lavellan and she seemed uncertain if Solas still loved her, Solas immediately was like “I cannot allow my vhenan to think I do not still yearn eternally!” And used his dreamer mage abilities to get one of his agents to find and deliver the letter.

“Yes, I live. No, I do not need help escaping the Fade. I have a plan. I need you to slip into my office. Yes, at the Lighthouse. No, you cannot be seen. First, you will have to complete three puzzles. And then find a wisp. Do not question me. There are then three lasers you need to move. It is not “overkill”. Once you are inside, there is a book in my desk. Third drawer from the top. Left side. It is hidden in a secret compartment. Yes, there is another puzzle. It is… a book of erotic poetry. I said no questions! You will find a letter stuck between the pages. Retrieve it. Yes. Deliver it to the Inquisitor. It is of the utmost importance. Yes, it is for… the cause...”

I realized that I could easily do the same to DAI's script, and I did that, but then I immediately created my magnum opus:

Jayce submits a research paper under both of their names, but the university needs Viktors last name for processing so Jayce thoughtlessly writes in his own name and forgets about it.

Viktor moves into a different flat but the landlord doesnt trust "someone from the undercity who cant even afford a last name" so Jayce gets pissed and informs the landlord "well i'm giving him talis for free, how about that, asshole??"

Jayce takes Viktor home to meet his mother bc she asked to be introduced to his new "partner" he cant stop talking about. When asked for his full name Viktor is like "oh i dont have one" and ximena reprimands Jayce for not sharing their last name with Viktor.

Similar, but sadder, after Jayce and Viktor ~die~ Cait discovers that only Jayce is credited for the hexgates. She brings up her conflicted feelings to Ximena and she says "you know, Jayce was always upset when Viktor was excluded. Maybe you can change it to 'Viktor and Jayce Talis', he would be happy with that"
