Grim lets his little henchman carry him around for NRC (he won't admit it, but he likes that Yuu helps him feel important and grown-up), even if it makes things a little difficult. Besides, if anyone tries to mess with them, Grim can easily breathe fire back at them—it's a win-win.

The first-years, being the ones who interact with Yuu the most, are definitely the first to realize something's wrong with this kid. It's not something direct at first, but rather certain habits Yuu has that reveal him as someone who grew up too fast (being too independent or mature for their age, knowing how to cook, clean, and so on on their own, not trusting adults, etc.).

Ace probably once caught Yuu stockpiling food at Ramshackle. The reason? "In case I get grounded without food," it takes Ace a full minute to process what this kid just said. And thenautomatically drags them off to have tea and eat some of Trey's candy at Heartslabyul . Ace isn't very good at this kind of thing, but he DEFINITELY knows it's not normal for a little kid to do that, and he needs someone RIGHT to point that out to them.

Deuce also notices some of Yuu's unusual habits, but especially when he talks about their home. When Deuce told them about his mother and how he wanted to make her proud, Yuu looked at him in a way they never had before. they said his mother wasn't happy with them either, that sometimes they wouldn't see her or thier father for days, but that was okay because then they wouldn't be a burden to them (Deuce proceeded to hug Yuu for three hours straight).

Jack is the one who affirms, the one who assures Yuu that they're not a bad kid, that their parents weren't good people, and most of all, that they deserves to be loved. He's especially gentle with them; they remind him of his little sibilings, so it pains him greatly to see how little affection they received in their life, and he's willing to change it. I can see Jack easily giving in to Yuu's whims, such as transforming into a wolf so Yuu can ride or sleep on him, hanging on his shoulders because he's tall, etc.

Epel definitely tells Yuu straight up that if he runs into their parents, he'll beat them up in seven different ways. Aside from that, he's great at making the kid laugh, whether it's with words from his original dialect/accent, exaggerated Vil imitations, or going on little escapades to get some candy/junk food for themselves. He's also taught Yuu a few tricks on how to use their "cute" appearance to their advantage to escape trouble.

Sebek makes a huge effort to not be so loud around Yuu, realizing that it brings back very bad memories for them, or at least encourages them to be louder and more vocal about what they want. He's the most offended and genuinely angry at the kind of treatment Yuu's parents gave the kid, and assures them that while they're in Twisted Wonderland, they won't have to fear being hurt, that they'll protect them. He's quite affirming without knowing it.

Ortho and Yuu are basically best friends; they're both in a new world and deeply curious about everything around them. Although, of course, Ortho tries to take more care of his more fragile, flesh-and-blood friend. Ortho ends up being the one who teaches Yuu various social skills like "stranger danger" and "trusted adult," and, above all, that if they feels ill or something bad happens to them, they can count on their friends to help them!

The teachers are so partial to Yuu, that while the others are practically fighting for survival in the hellish Vargas camps in the middle of nowhere, Yuu is playing jump rope with Ortho and Grim. While everyone else is dozing off listening to Trein's lectures, Yuu is completing a short basic quiz for the day, with Lucius on their lap. While the others are making potentially explosive potions, Crewel is teaching Yuu basic chemistry.

Sam has definitely given Yuu a couple of gifts to cheer him up when they feeling particularly down, whether it's their favorite food, an item they's been eyeing up, or something unexpected. You never know with Sam. Crowley is happy that he doesn't have to pretend he was looking find a way to get Yuu back home now that everyone's warmed up to them, or well, now they're demanding that he do it, but to... beat up their parents? Well, he might consider it.

After all, Yuu has united the school in a unique way, it's the least they could do, right?

Definitivamente los de primer año, al ser los que más interactúan con Yuu, son los primeros en darse cuenta que algo malo paso con este niño. No son cosas directas en un inicio, sino mas bien ciertos hábitos que tiene Yuu que lo delatan como alguien que creció muy rápido (ser demasiado independiente o maduro para su edad, saber cocinar, limpiar y demás por su cuenta, no confiar en adultos, etc).

Ace probablemente una vez sorprendió a Yuu haciendo una reserva de comida en ramshackle ¿la razón? “en caso de que me castiguen sin comer”, a Ace le toma un minuto entero procesar lo que este niño acaba de decir. Y automáticamente después lo arrastra Heartslabyul para tomar el té y que coma algunos dulces de Trey. Ace no es muy bueno en este tipo de cosas, pero DEFINITIVAMENTE sabe que no es normal que un niño pequeño haga eso, y necesita que alguien ADECUADO le diga eso.

Deuce también nota algunos de los hábitos inusuales de Yuu, pero más que nada cuando habla de su hogar. Cuando Deuce le hablo de su madre y como quería hacerla sentir orgullosa, Yuu lo miro de una forma que nunca lo había hecho, dijo que su madre tampoco estaba feliz con ellos, que a veces no la veía ni a ella ni su padre por días, pero estaba bien, porque así no sería una carga para ellos (Deuce procedió a abrazar a Yuu por tres horas seguidas).

Jack es el de la afirmación, el que le asegura a Yuu que no es un niño malo, que sus padres no eran buenas personas, y sobretodo, que merece que lo quieran. Es especialmente gentil con ellos, le recuerdan a sus hermanos pequeños, por lo que le duele mucho ver el poco afecto que ha recibido en su vida, y está dispuesto a cambiarlo. Puedo ver a Jack cediendo fácilmente a los caprichos de Yuu, como transformarse en lobo para que Yuu lo monte o duerma sobre él, estar sobre sus hombros porque es alto, etc.

Epel definitivamente le dice directamente a Yuu que si se topa con sus padres les va a partir la cara de 7 formas diferentes. Aparte de eso, es un grande en hacer reír al niño, ya sea con palaras de su dialecto original/acento, imitando a Vil de forma exagerada o yendo en pequeñas escapadas para conseguir algunos dulces/comida chatarra para ellos solos. Tambien le ha enseñado un par de trucos a Yuu sobre cómo usar el aspecto “adorable” a su favor para escapar de los problemas.

Sebek hace un esfuerzo enorme de no ser tan ruidoso cerca de Yuu al darse cuenta de que eso trae muy malas memorias para ellos, o al menos, los incita a ellos a ser más ruidosos y claros con lo que quieren. Es el más ofendido y sinceramente enojado ante el tipo de trato que le dieron los padres de Yuu al niño, y le asegura que mientras este en twisted wonderland, no tendrá que temer que lo lastimen, que lo van a proteger. Es bastante afirmativo sin saberlo.

Ortho y Yuu son básicamente mejores amigos, ambos están en un mundo nuevo y tienen una gran curiosidad por todo lo que los rodea. Aunque claro, Ortho trata de cuidar más de su más frágil amigo de carne y hueso. Ortho termina siendo quien le enseña a Yuu varias cosas sociales como “peligro extraño” o “adulto de confianza” y sobretodo, que, si se siente mal o algo malo le pasa, puede contar con sus amigos para ayudarle!

Los profesores son tan favoritistas hacia Yuu en este caso, mientras que los demás están prácticamente luchando por sobrevivir en los campamentos infernales de Vargas en medio de la nada, Yuu esta jugando saltar la cuerda con Ortho y Grim. Mientras que todos se están durmiendo escuchando las lecturas de Trein, Yuu esta completando un pequeño cuestionario básico por el dia, con Lucius en su regazo. Mientras los demás están haciendo pociones potencialmente explosivas, Crewel le enseña a Yuu química básica.

Sam definitivamente le ha dado un par de regalos a Yuu para animarle cuando le ve especialmente decaído, ya sea su comida favorita, algún artículo que haya ojeado o algo sorpresa. Nunca se sabe con Sam. Crowley esta feliz de que no tiene que (fingir que estaba buscando) buscar una forma de que Yuu vuelva a casa ahora que todos se encariñaron con ellos, o bueno, ahora le exigen que lo haga, pero para…¿darle una paliza a sus padres? Bueno, puede que lo considere.

Después de todo, Yuu ha unido la escuela de una forma única, es lo menos que podrían hacer ¿no?

As you can see in the original Little Tiger drawing, she was gifted to Great Tiger by Bald Bull! However, the question had been as to where Bull got a newborn tiger in the first place. Basically, one afternoon, Bull had been sorting out his mountains fan-mail when he came across a very big box, suspiciously big... At first he didn't think much of it, until he heard the world's littlest chirps from inside the box, so he opened it.

Great Tiger birthday had been uneventful: in the morning he went to the gurdwara, had a meal with his family, then they all had a little get-together; but truly, he felt a little bit alone... If there was only some companion he could share his routine with! That's when, from between the mountain of clothes, books, and some other gifts that don't feel close to him, there's the same big box!

There she is! Not in very good shape due to being stuffed in a box, but she's there! 785 grams of pure tiger. Bull has absolutely no idea what to do with her, he likes animals, he trains with bulls after all... But a tiger is a whole different thing! If only there was someone he could delegate this tiger to... Hold on...

Great Tiger is euphoric. He had never seen a tiger so cute and so small; Little Tiger is so young she barely has her eyes open yet, and Great Tiger's cat dad instincts turn on immediately. When it comes to affection, he’s all about always letting you know you’re on his mind. His love is creative and caring.

Well my dad finally surrendered his dog last week, and man have I been having feelings about it 🙃

I guess fortunately the biggest one is relief??? Like this should have happened 8+ months ago, so better late than never I guess?? He failed her on pretty much every level and she deserves a home where someone will actually like, devote some amount of attention and time and care to her!!! And actually enjoy her company and not just bitch about her acting like a normal bored unsupervised puppy!!!! Going back to the shelter is not the ✨ideal✨ solution for that, but at least they have connections with rescues and stuff that he never would've bothered to put the work in to find himself. Trying to find a home for a teenage husky/pit with literally zero training or socialization is about as hard as it gets outside of bite risk dogs, but she's affectionate and cute and very smart, so hopefully she's at least semi-adoptable. If she'd stayed with him, it would've been a matter of time before she either killed a cat or chicken and he put her down for it, or she hurt herself while totally unsupervised and died because he's too fucking cheap to pay for real vet care. Thankfully the shelter has spayed her since he gave her back (because he was also too cheap to do that 🙃) so at least she won't end up in a puppy mill, making more unadoptable mutts. So hopefully chances are good that whoever adopts her will at least do better than *that*, right??? And this shelter has a very good track record of never euthanizing adoptable animals, so it's unlikely she'll end up put down by them, right??? Idk, I'm trying not to let myself feel responsible for the consequences of his actions, regardless of what they turn out to be 🫠

But I'm also so fucking mad at him because he literally failed her on every 👏 possible 👏 level 👏 in spite of LITERALLY EVERYONE he talked to warning him that he was making a mistake, and a bunch of people trying to help him fix things after he'd already made it!!! But he's too fucking stubborn and egotistical to admit he fucked up before a YEAR passed and he now has a basically feral adult dog!!! The poor thing is 50lbs+ and a year and a half old and she's never walked on a leash, never lived inside a house or been potty trained, never met a child, never met another dog besides our ancient family dog, and has zero training to speak of, and now her life depends on someone else being okay with taking a dog like that, ALL SO HE COULD LEARN THE HARD WAY INSTEAD OF LISTENING TO ANYONE ELSE EVER!!!!!! If she doesn't get adopted and does end up euthanized, or if she goes to an even worse home that just ties her to a chain in the yard, IT'S 100% HIS FUCKING FAULT!!!!! AND SHE DOES NOT DESERVE THAT!!!!!

But also also, I can't really stop myself from wanting to feel sympathetic because I've been forced to re-home animals that I physically couldn't keep up with and it was genuinely traumatic. But the difference is I TRIED *SO HARD* TO MAKE IT WORK????? AND HE DIDN'T TRY AT FUCKING ALL????? He's retired and has basically zero obligations besides going to his mom's for 24 hours to help her out like once every other month, so if anybody had the time to train and supervise her, it would be HIM!!!!! My mom - who's working full-time and did not fucking sign up for this - did infinitely more for that dog!!!! And I know very well that sometimes the problem doesn't have anything to do with the literal *time* commitment, but it's not like he just couldn't handle the level of effort it required either, because he didn't even fucking *pretend* to try!!!!! He googled anxiety medication (because he thinks she has anxiety, and definitely wasn't acting out because she basically lives in solitary fucking confinement) once and realized he'd have to give it to her *every day* and it would take a few weeks to work, and THAT was too much work for him!!!! FUCK OFF!!!!! And then he has the nerve to talk shit about THE DOG, like "you guys can tell the shelter about her, all I'd have to say is how she tore up my yard and all my shit," and I don't think I have ever been more truly viscerally disgusted by this person. Like he's done a lot of fucked up shit in my life, but to not even have the decency to not insult THE LIVING CREATURE WHO YOU NEGLECTED AND THEN DOOMED BECAUSE YOU'RE A SELFISH PIECE OF SHIT ARE YOU F U C K I N G S E R I O U S !?!?!?!?!?!?!?

But then also every time I talk to my mom about it she says he's so upset and broken up about it because he knows it's his fault and he fucked up. And like, I have never seen my dad be openly sad about anything before??? And the most I've heard in terms of acknowledging his fuck up is shit like "yeah yeah, I'm a dumbass and it's all my fault 🙄". So like, is he acting differently at home in front of her that I don't see?? Is she counting that as him being "so upset" because by contrast it's as close as he gets??? Like is he actually sad about the situation or just pissed off and embarrassed that he has to admit he was wrong??? He's ✨so upset✨ about it that he's backed out of surrendering her multiple times before and it's taken him A YEAR to actually do it, but not so upset that he was actually willing to try ANYTHING different to help the situation??? Or listen to anyone else about ways to make things better?? Like I've tried to teach him how to train her, and given him resources in case he didn't want to hear it from me, and he hasn't fucking touched them?? My mom literally hired a trainer and worked with her to try to do something about it herself, but he never even asked my mom what the trainer said???

Some lady from this organization that promotes and shares the shelter animals commented when the shelter posted her, asking for more info from the owners, so I PMd her a big long essay about everything I knew about her and what I thought she needed in a home. I tried to be honest (so she doesn't get returned *again* by someone else that's unprepared) but positive (so maybe someone will still actually want to adopt her). I decided that was one thing I could do to actually help the dog without getting too involved and making myself feel responsible and guilty somehow. The lady seemed positive that the info and the couple extra photos I sent her would help find her a good fit. I really hope it does. I also hope that getting all of this out helps me stop thinking about it constantly. And that maybe someday my dad will own up to one thing ever in his life and eventually I'll stop wanting to physically fight him. But mostly that she gets a home. She deserves to be fucking loved.

It started out a bit self indulgent since it was my birthday on April 18th☺️, but since that has definitely passed and it switched to Mother’s Day (which also has since passed🫠 lol). Either way, we now have a change in celebrations! Hope you guys like it! *If I can push myself, I have 2 other belated bday/self indulgent fics I want to put out but we’ll see!*

“Ari, you sure you’re gonna be okay?,” you ask in a hushed whisper daring not to wake your sleeping twins. As angelic as they looked at this moment in their matching bassinets, long lashes resting peacefully against their cheeks, you wouldn’t believe they were screaming like mad men an hour before.

Aliana was hungry, but wouldn’t take your breast milk from the bottle her father so nicely warmed for her. She wanted it from the source, which wouldn’t have been an issue if her sister Brynn wasn’t so keen on staying attached to you today.

So unsurprisingly, she wasn’t happy when you and Ari had to trade.

And sensing her sister wasn’t happy, Aliana therefore would not feed and instead cried in solidarity with her sister.

Like she’s done pretty much every other day since you’ve moved in, Mrs. Holloway shuffled her way across the hall knocking on your door to check on your little family and make sure everything was fine after over 15 minutes of wailing. Although a very sweet gesture, you really weren’t in the mood for her “what I used to do is…” at that current moment.

“I probably shouldn’t even be-,”

“Y/N it’s Mother’s Day. You deserve to get out the house and have a break,” Ari responds. “Go and have fun, we’ll be good.”

You honestly felt guilty how much you longed for more than the monotonous cycle that was your life these past months. Not a complete change, just a little twist in the routine if you will

Seeing your friends going out for dinner and on trips made you miss your college days of exploring the city or those around. Not caring about what time you came back because you only had yourself to worry about.

Yes you knew you needed a break - your doctor and the girls’ pediatrician always emphasized that during your respective appointments - but you honestly felt like you didn’t deserve it. As your mother said when you announced your pregnancy, “Say goodbye to whatever you consider fun and the life you had before. It’s now solely about those two until they’re good and grown. Heck even past that really.”

By the time you realize you’re crying, Ari’s already wiping away the lone tear with his thumb sweetly smiling at you as he caresses your cheeks.

“Baby I know it’s hard, but this is good for you. It’s okay to have a life outside of our girls.”

“Is it though?,” you whisper. “What if 20 or so years from now they need therapy because I wasn’t there?”

“…Well seeing that they’re infants, I doubt they’ll even remember this,” Ari lightly chuckles successfully making you smile - even if for only a few seconds. “Plus it’s only a few hours sweetheart. It’s not like you’re leaving for good. At least I hope not.”

His feigned suspicion and playful, narrowed eyes make you giggle as you lightly shake your head. “I’ll admit that was a bit dramatic.”

“But it’s just you being a concerned mama, which I understand.”

There he was being that grounding force you always needed. Helping quiet the noise from your brain to bring you a step closer to peace.

His warm palms still on your cheeks as you gazed into his eyes, you were happy to have him back - unfortunately only just for a short amount of time.

Ultimately, he was your center and from his absence you learned without him everything was off.

Unknown to you, he felt the same way of your presence. During your time apart, he honestly thought he wouldn’t make it how his body seemed to crave more than your touch. To hear your footsteps coming down the hall. Feel you under the same roof even if you weren’t in the same room.

Your buzzing phone signals your best friend’s arrival outside making you both separate - and further miss having such an intimate moment with each other again.

“If you need anything please call. Don’t try to struggle through so I don’t worry.”

“I will.” Ari’s hands on your hip and lower back gently move you towards the door not giving you a chance to possibly change your mind. “And you try to have fun. I don’t even want you thinking about us until you get back. Okay?”

“Kay,” you sigh stealing one last look at your beautiful girls. “I’ll see you guys later.”

“Just be sure to call when you’re on the way so we can kick everyone out and have everything cleaned up from the party.”

“Very funny.” His lips on your forehead smooth away your worry lines; instead replacing them with a flush of heat and a soft smile.

Instinctively, he wanted to lean down and meet your lips as well but he somehow restrains himself. Flashing his adorable tilted smile as a last assurance everything would be fine before you’re out the door walking down the steps to your friend’s Lexus. After a final wave, you’re both gone and he’s left with the quiet apartment and two sleeping babies.

Definitely not secretly worried himself as he sits on the couch with both bassinets in front of him. His girls and the tv in perfect view.

“Alright ladies, looks like it’s just us,” he quietly speaks to no one in particular. “So far so good right? Yea I think so too.”

As if sensing her father’s anxiety and mother’s absence, Brynn begins to wiggle and whimper as she typically did before having a full fussy meltdown. Luckily he’s able to get her before she could wake up Ali. Gently holding her close to his chest as he slowly rocks back and forth quietly shushing her.

“Hey it’s okay, I’m here babygirl. Nothing to worry about we’re alright.” In a matter of seconds she’s back to sleep and Ari’s smiling to himself comfortably sitting back against the soft, decorative pillows.

What was he nervous for? He had everything completely under control and these next few hours would easily fly by.

Or so he thought.

A couple hours later and his little angels were wide awake loudly broadcasting their requests for new diapers through their tears.

“I know sweetheart, I know. Daddy only has two hands though, so he’s working as fast as he can,” he responds in a sing-song tone to Aliana using one hand to try and tickle her cries away while the other steadies her squirmy sister.

He never really realized how long this takes not having any help.

Now they sat, relatively calm, in their high chairs watching as Ari opened their containers of food to place on the small plates in front of them.

“Okay my loves, dinner is served.”

With a fist full of smushed peas and carrots, the nine-month olds each inspect their hands before deciding they’d rather not.

“What’s wrong? You guys love this.”

Brynn just smashes more veggies between her fingers while Ali fiddles with the side of her chair as if trying to let herself down.

“Cmon girls you gotta eat,” Ari states grabbing two plastic spoons in each hand. Expertly, he’s able to get something on each one before holding it up to the twin’s mouths. Ali whines moving her head away, and Brynn smacks the utensil from his hand finding it quite hilarious when it drops to the floor.

“Alright, if you don’t want that let’s try this then.”

With the clean spoon, he digs into the clear baby food container before holding the yellowish goop to Brynn’s lips letting her taste. Smacking her lips once, her face contorts in disgust as she holds her tongue out not wanting anymore of whatever that was.

Ali does the same with the addition of smearing the remaining food from her lips to her cheeks and nose.

“It’s chicken and rice guys, I know it can’t be that bad. Here, watch dada.”

Getting a healthy spoonful for himself, he quickly realizes that probably wasn’t the best idea once it settles into his tastebuds.

Whatever this was definitely did not taste like the chicken and rice he was used to. And why did it almost taste like medicine?

He’s quick to spit it back into the jar gagging and frantically searching for a napkin to wipe the remaining residue from his tongue. His two angels giggling the entire time enjoying the impromptu show from their father.

“Glad my pain could make you laugh,” he shakes his head sliding the terrible chicken and rice to the side so he’d remember to throw it away later - and any other food from that brand.

Sighing, he journeys back to the fridge wondering what could work for his extremely picky girls as his oceanic blues scan along the shelves.

“Well since those two were a no, maybe we’ll have better luck with this.”

He takes one small container of strawberry yogurt and scoops the pink substance on one mini placemat before taking another to do the same on the next.

Just as they did with the peas, the yogurt oozes between their fingers then is brought to their mouths where they seem to enjoy the cold treat.

They reach for more practically sticking their entire hands in their mouths trying to eat as much as they could. He even hears a “mm” come from Brynn while Ali gnaws on both hands with that adorable dimpled smile.

“You like it girls?,” Ari asks chuckling at his messy little ones who���d definitely need a bath when they were done. “Don’t worry we got plenty more.”

Returning to your apartment, you’re a bit nervous as to what you’d find on the other side of the door not hearing anything from Ari since you left.

Everything seems okay though, seeing the pristine kitchen and dishes drying on the pad next to the sink.

As you step further into the living room, the only noise is some colorful cartoon character running across the tv screen while Ari snoozes with his head on the couch’s armrest. He must really be exhausted how his mouth is parted letting his snores freely escape to the open air. There’s even a bit of drool glistening in the corner of his mouth.

And you’d still gladly give him another child if he asked.

Perching on the edge of the cushion, you turn to run your thumb over his thick brow while gently calling out his name until he’s shifting and mumbling. “Ari, I’m back.”

One eye squinted, he tiredly smiles as he stretches his limbs - and you try to hold yourself together watching his muscles flex under the black Nirvana graphic tee. You shyly turn away, busying yourself with one of the girl’s rattles once his tummy pokes out along with a bit of his happy trail.

“Back already?,” he asks with a yawn.

“Ari it’s almost eight,” you softly chuckle as he looks towards the window to find it completely dark outside. A short “hm” rumbling in his chest as he sits up.

“I was out longer than I thought then.”

“How was everything? Were they fussy when I left?”

“It was good,” he smiles instantly making your own form. “And no, they actually stayed asleep for a couple hours before they woke up. Then had diaper changes, ate, and played until they got tired. Before you ask, yes I took plenty of pictures.”

He chuckles at the way you giddily bounce as he hands his phone over. The screen already showing a photo of your babies with messy faces and hands as they ate their yogurt. How did they always manage to get it in their hair?

“How was your girl’s day?”

“Pretty good. We went to that new little area, Midtown. They have some cute shops and things so we stayed there, talked and ate.”

“And see? Everyone’s fine, no one in any emotional distress,” he adds nudging your side and making you roll your eyes.

“I know I know, the world didn’t end,” you giggle standing as you hand his phone back - trying to ignore those fuzzy feelings in your stomach for the second time today when his hand touches yours. “I’m uh gonna go peek in on them before getting ready for bed.”

“Okay, just uh let me know when your done so I can change and everything.”

It’s been months, and it’s still taking time for both of you to get used to the new arrangements of your “separation”. At least once a day Ari had to remind himself how it was your bedroom now. How he was basically the guest in your home.

You, on the other hand, would never get used to the cold bed though having had your own personal heater for years.

Secretly, you didn’t wash the pillowcase from his side for the longest not wanting to get rid of his smell. The last remnant of his former presence in your little apartment.

Nodding your head, your sandals dully flap against the carpet as you make your way to your girls. More than ready to attack those chubby cheeks with kisses and nibble on fingers/toes if you could. However stepping foot in the door, that excitement soon turns into dread.

“Um Ari,” you sweetly call over your shoulder, “come here please.”

In seconds, he’s by your side still yawning the residual sleep from his body.

“What’s-,” his words catch in his throat as the horrendous scent finally touches his nostrils. “What died?!”

In their crib, Brynn and Aliana sat quietly covered in green, pasty poop that seemed to have run from their diapers out onto their starry mattress cover.

More specifically, Brynn sat squeezing poop in her fists while Ali lied on her back staring at the ceiling as if saying, “why me?”

“Exactly how much yogurt did you give them?”

“…Two.”

“Two?!”

“A-and a half,” he adds nervously scratching the back of his neck.

“Ari!,” you whine with hands on your hips. “The girls don’t do well with lots of dairy or sugar. It’s why we have the ‘only one’ limit.”

“But they really liked it! You should’ve seen how cute they were doing that excited shake thing. Plus they wouldn’t eat anything else I tried to give them,” he explains hoping to make it to the twins first birthday.

Sighing, you kick off your shoes before leaning down to pick up Ali being careful to not get any feces on you. “Let’s get you cleaned up my love. Can you get B please?”

Hesitantly, Ari reaches over the wooden railing to get his daughter trying to control his gags as she joyfully reaches out wanting to be held closer. “Please tell me you didn’t try to eat it.”

“Sorry I messed up,” Ari whispers as the four of you lie in bed. The girls, now freshly cleaned and in new onesies, each on their stomachs gently breathing. “Now you’re never gonna want to leave again.”

“It’s okay Ari, it was an accident. Need I remind you of the trip to your mom’s?,” you both chuckle.

“I just don’t want you worrying every time you step out the door.”

“That’s gonna happen no matter what. I love you guys and don’t want anything to happen.”

That innocent admission had a bright gleam forming in Ari’s eyes and a warmth blooming over his body. He tried ducking his face deeper into the pillow, but that smile was hard to hide.

“Thank you for everything today. I feel like I don’t say it much, but I appreciate all you do for us.”

Luckily his blush was easier to conceal from how dim the room was. “Anything for my girls.”

The Axe, concerningly named Ulysses by Diana, was a gift from Juno when Diana first started sneaking out into the mortal world to join protests and hack police systems to either mysteriously find what they needed or to find nothing at all. Juno was proud of her granddaughter for continuing on her Warner legacy (as it was one of her most prominent epithets) and wanted her to stay safe no matter where she was. In mortal form, it splits into two thin diamond-lain bracelets which transformed when broken/split from her wrists into two individual axes which then combined into her battle-axe. Leo and Jason were Concerned™️ when it suddenly appeared in Diana's day-to-day life (as she likes to keep it visible for Intimidation Factors), but eventually just dubiously accepted it because she is Leo and Jason's child. Either godly or mechanic meddling is not not a factor.

Powers: Aerokinesis

Aerokinesis is the power to manipulate air and wind patterns. Diana's version of the power is pretty typical--the ability to manipulate the winds, create winds, manipulate air patterns, flying, floating, moving things, etc.--with the only added bonus of of being able to also manipulate storms. Existing storms are easier, but if she truly concentrated, she could push water molecules up into the atmosphere to cool and cause either electricity and/or rain. She can't call lightning or anything, but she seems to have control/influence over the nature of the storms themselves. Such as their overall damage level, characteristics, and anything that goes full-scale.

Abilities: Polylingualism, Spite

English is actually nowhere near Diana's first language, or even her fifth language, really. She first grew up speaking from where she was born in Greece, then graduating into Latin, Italian, and German from her parent's native languages and scientific interests, before finally learning Spanish and English under the care of Leo and Jason. You won't see her doing the usual TV "bilingual thing" where it's hard for her to switch languages, but you will see her internal panic as someone tries to talk to her while her brain is in a language definitely not the one they're talking in. The internal panic is very obvious and it's even worse is that she can't even communicate her embarrassment or apologies bc her brain is stuck trying to think and then translate but her translation is in the other language and- Yeah. Everyone silently pat her on the back in condolences 😔😔😔.

Diana's spite does not follow the usual "spite" patterns. As in, most people's spite Exists all the time just passively and they use any point they can to really dig it in there, but Diana just. Doesn't. You gotta activate it. Remind her why she's mad at you. She's vicious when she is mad at you, but half the time she's either forgotten who you are or that you guys have beef. Lead to many... interesting "bully" interactions where she's just oblivious to what's about to happen and it's honestly not as effective because she's not exactly mad about it because it hasn't occurred to her that this is a one-time thing or that she should be mad at it. Very strange, very strange. It "ruins" many moments with her cousins trying to cause mischief and them having to remind her why they care 😂😂😂. Diana certainly doesn't. She has no shame.

Agreed. Andrew is my favorite version of Peter, the vibe of his movies really speak to me. I love the scene you’ve mentioned, but it breaks my heart because of Gwen’s fate. However I would love to do that for Miles and Gwen. Right now I’ve got a lot of pieces in progress, so don’t expect it right away, but if I find a chance to do it I will ✨

I really enjoyed drawing their kiddos and had every intention of drawing them differently from the comics. I wanted to do my own interpretation of their kids since the spiderverse style if different from the comics. I actually based Gwen’s braids on some of her concept art, I loved that look (it’s viking-ish which I dig) so I wanted to do something with it.

Though Miles and Gwen 42 are not exactly canon, I still love the idea of them and so I’m glad you have enjoyed what I have made.

Alright I’m ready to review Terrifier 3. I’m giving it 3/5 stars. For context I’d give the first Terrifer 4/5 stars & I’d also give All Hallows Eve 3/5 stars. It should be obvious that Terrifer 2 is a masterpiece in the horror genre & objectively one of the greatest films of all time & deserves 5 billion stars & no one can contest that or they’re objectively wrong & didn’t understand the movie.

Okay fine & I’d give Terrifer 2 5 stars. At least.

(There’s no use getting into why All Hallows Eve got only 3 stars. It’s simply because Art wasn’t fully developed & it’s just a fun forgettable Indy slasher. It’s nice & all but it’s only earned iconic status thanks to Art & the Terrifer series so its low ranking is really pretty self explanatory.)

Here’s my short spoiler free review of Terrifer 3:

Positives:

The Sienna vs Art lore & dynamic continues to thrive & that’s really the most important part of this series. We learned so much about Art & the demon & Victoria Heyes & Sienna & her part in all this & her magic sword! Ahhh we learned so much about the lore surrounding that sword & also nothing at all. 4 better have more flashbacks with the dad!

I loved Beth’s ghost & Siennas struggle with PTSD & not knowing what’s real versus also she legitimately DOES know about a whole secret world most people would never believe! So well done & scary & I love Sienna more than ever.

The Sienna & Gabby & Sienna & Jonathan dynamics 🥺 Sienna is just a sweetheart who wants to take care of younger family members 😭 She can be brutal & violent but only when she needs to & to protect the people she loves! This movie really just made me want the world to be soft to Sienna & her loved ones 🥺 (obviously not ACTUALLY that would be boring but you guys know what I mean lol)

As always David Howard Thornton KILLS it (pun intended) as Art. His facial expressions & body language are brilliant!!!

Also I loved Victoria Heyes & the Joker & Harley if Joker & Harley were NC17 dynamic with her & Art.

This movie really upped the ante on grossness & creative kills. I love that Art doesn’t have a signature weapon & instead gets to be crazy creative. No other franchise is doing practical effects & death scenes like this.

Negatives:

This is harder to talk about without spoilers. Basically I’m a bit concerned that they’ve written themselves into a corner & I am not sure about some of the creative decisions & set up for 4. But perhaps I should trust the team’s vision. However, I also just feel like this one got off to a slow start & at times it just felt like they weren’t 100% sure where they were taking it & it just kept going in different directions at times idk.

I hate that Jonathan died. Let’s get that out of the way. In my completely unbiased & correct opinion Sienna & Jonathan’s dynamic brought heart that was very much needed to the story. Without them you’ve got a slasher series like any other except a little more gory. There’s nothing wrong with that but for me personally, if I’m going to be truly invested, I need a sibling duo with ✨trauma ✨ some really interesting & compelling characters & dynamics to latch onto. Sienna & Jonathan brought something that the first movie lacked & the lore around Art & Sienna was what brought this franchise from campy fun to a genuinely compelling story with a complex world & a hero we want to root for.

I think the choice to kill Jonathan is interesting & I can understand WHY they did it especially after introducing Gabby but I do see some issues with this going forward (which I’ll explain shortly). Now Sienna has nothing. No ties to the world. Except…. She has Gabby & the desire to save her from whatever Hell dimension she was sucked into. Also, Gabby has the magic sword. I love that the sword can’t hurt Sienna btw! That bit at the end with her hands healing was sooo good!

Now…. Here’s the problem. I can understand why they felt like either Jonathan or Gabby had to die. And I can understand why Gabby, the adorable little cousin designed to bring out the humanity & softness in Sienna, got to live. Ish. BUT…, well what now? That’s my issue. They really can’t kill Gabby or else this entire journey will feel pointless & like a waste of emotional time & energy for the audience for Sienna to go through all that she’ll surely go through in 4 to save Gabby. So how will they raise the stakes?

Much like with Scream & Sidney I think audiences will reach a threshold where we don’t want Sienna to have anymore surprise important family. I’m sure 4 will have to have some new characters but it’s hard to imagine them showing us someone else Sienna will care about like Jonathan or Gabby given her familial ties & history with them.

And I want to say I obviously do like Gabby. I don’t see how anyone could see the way she adores & looks up to Sienna & NOT love her. Their dynamic is very sweet & there is a certain horror to someone so tiny & helpless being taken to some horrific hell dimension!

However, I think having Jonathan survive would’ve made more sense & either killing him in the last movie or (my personal preference) letting the Shaw siblings walk away from this bloody & damaged but alive & together would’ve been the move.

So, I’m curious what will happen in 4 & that’s all I got. I didn’t hate it but it was weak compared to 2 & even to 1.

How do you think each character would spend their birthday? Like, what would they prefer for it — set a whole party, or take a good walk with friends, or something else? 👀

As how each character spends their birthday..

Amy - a giant tea party with the girls and some of the boys. She’d most likely ask shadow for a drag performance, or for helping out with the party. After all she, Sonic, and shadow are all amazing friends, especially in adulthood! (Although one year she decided to go clubbing with aeon and rouge, and honestly she had fun!)

Rouge - drinking wine all evening and buying herself luxuries. knuckles, shadow, and a few others pop by her place to host her a small dinner party, as the bar has gone down in history as Mobius’ greatest thief, might as well celebrate!

Cream - a gorgeous birthday party that’s similar to Amy’s, except she gets special presents from all her friends and family. Depending on who it’s from, it can range from coloring books, plushies, to small amounts of jewelry, and even a handmade dress for her! (Nazo always makes cream a birthday dress, it’s just his yearly tradition.)

Blaze - well, she’s a princess. You better believe a whole festival is being held in her honor. She’s invited many fellow royal families and high honored guests, but her favorite bit is dancing under the moonlight with silver. Mephiles and iblis actually help with these events, since blaze is considered a goddess in her realm (technically she’s a Demi-goddess, but she’s still worshipped all the same!)

Iris - it really depends on the situation and when/where she is. If you were talking about when she was in the castle, she really wouldn’t have anything held for her by her dad or most of her older siblings. However, she was always given a handmade vanilla cake by some of the maids on her birthday. If you’re talking about in the present timeline? Most likely a night out to buy herself some dinner, buy some cute jewelry, and if it’s a work night? Oh the girl gets SPOILED by rich men. (Nazo and seelk can’t help but feel jealous, but not like they can do anything about it, let her enjoy the day as she deserves!)

Aeon - goes on a shopping spree or goes to travel. Every year she experiences something unique and beautiful on her travels! ^^

Sonic - pool party at his place, backyard cookout, maybe even some drinks! He also gets spoiled rotten by all his friends and loved ones! ^^

Scourge - pretty similar to Sonic, except the drinking is more extreme, and drugs can be found at the event 0-0|| you can imagine how often cops show up at the event spot due to complaints.

Shadow - most likely going to a drag bar to perform, after all, he knows a lot of his friends there have stuff planned for him. Ranging from alcohol to new dresses, he’s gonna get spoiled on his birthday, in more ways than one! -v-

Seelkadoom - going to concerts. This can range in his mood. However, this year he’s aiming to bring the rest of the supernatural trio to an Olivia Rodrigo concert for his 23rd birthday. (For his 22nd, he and nazo went to a Sabrina carpenter concert, and he got an autograph from her! You can still see it framed in their room, you’ll have to ask him to see it though!)

Nazo - this depends. Some days he wants to stay in bed and cuddle his beloveds all day, some days he wants to go shopping for a new cologne and some new pieces, some days he wants to go gambling in no limit hold ‘em’. However, he’s always gifted some sweets from vanilla and cream for his birthday. They have this tradition of gifting each other something they love, and Nazo has always adored vanilla’s baking!

Tails - is usually given a small party, and is usually having game nights at Sonic’s place. Usually having some burgers with Sonic’s homemade chili cheese fries! ✨v✨

Knuckles - goes to cuddle and hangs out with rouge! Usually has some soup and some cake with her, or goes out drinking with Sonic and the others! ^^

Bonus:

Usually, mephiles and iblis don’t celebrate their birthdays. After all, they don’t remember how old they actually are. However, they do celebrate the birthdays of their favorite devotees!

Remember the sweet trans woman who left soup, cookies, and wine for mephiles? He always makes sure she has an amazing birthday, no matter what happens the day before. Sometimes he gets a little gutsy and visits her in her dreams to wish her a happy birthday! (He’s in love, but he HATES admitting it to anyone he doesn’t trust.)

For iblis, she always buys high quality ingredients and utensils for the chef who makes the amazing meals for her at her altar. It’s her small way of giving back, especially when they’re nothing but sweet to a goddess like her!
