“Fuck off with that self-deprecating bullshit, Reg,” Barty scoffs. “You are a real girl, and given how Potter was just ogling your arse for the better part of the past hour, he certainly doesn’t care that you’ve got a dick.”

Reggie splutters. “He was not—”

“Oh, yes he was,” Dorcas cuts in. “Why do you think Sirius was so pissed at him when the game ended?”

“Because he cost Gryffindor the win, obviously,” she huffs, cheeks red as she crosses her arms across her chest.

“Yeah, because he was too busying eye-fucking his best friend’s little sister to pay attention to the Quaffle,” Barty grins, and Reggie’s jaw drops.

“There was no eye-fucking!”

“There most certainly was, darling,” Pandora says and Evan hums in agreement.

“That boy saw your thighs wrapped around that broomstick and all thoughts flew out the window.”

Barty snickers. “All thoughts except your thighs wrapped around his broomstick—”

Reggie throws her pillow at him, face burning as her traitorous friends cackle. “I hope you all die a slow, painful death.”

“Aw, we love you too, Reg,” Pandora croons.

Ok, I recently wrote an essay [here] talking about the definition and duties of civil engineering as well as the ethics because of the brain rot @swordfright gave me with calling Dream Sam’s ultimate engineering project. So, because I actually am a civil engineer I took it upon myself to design the title and summary of quantities sheets just like I do at work for roads but with Dream as the project instead. And in honor of angst day sponsored by @sixteenth-day-event, I figured I’d share it because I feel like it kinda works for the prison of the mind prompt.

“Sam’s “ultimate engineering project” he deemed too damaged like a bumpy road or crumbling building that wasn’t worthy of patching and filling in the cracks or reinforcing, that’s too eroded to be fixed and preserved. So, Sam strived to tear him down to the bedrock so he could remake, remold, and reengineer Dream according to his design for the common safety, public health and well-fair.”

{These are very similar to the actual sheets I make day to day, which I shall not share for the sake of doxing my location, but yea pretty much everything has a significance. Some of it doesn’t necessarily make sense but that was because I was more so taking inventory of what we see in lore (so you know I counted ;) lol)}

The Skittles Finding Out About Rosekiller Pt. 3:

Barty and Evan are sitting on the couch in the common room when Regulus approaches them. The fact that they’re sitting in each other’s personal space despite the other side of the couch being perfectly empty does not escape Regulus. Nor does the fact that Evan is nestled into Barty’s side, held there by Barty’s arm, which is slung around Evan’s shoulders. They’re talking, Evan’s head turned up towards Barty, their faces only mere inches apart. All in all, the overall effect is one that screams the impression that they are not simply friends.

And at this point, Regulus has had more than enough of these mind games, and he’s fed up with it.

So he walks around the back of the couch, into their line of sight, and plops down aggressively on one of the armchairs that is in front of them. He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees, and massages his forehead with an exasperated expression.

Barty, an empath, senses something is wrong, so he asks Regulus what’s up.

And Regulus looks up at the both of them with a desperate and slightly frazzled expression on his face, then shoots a questioning glance at Dorcas, who is sitting in the armchair opposite of him. She gives him a slight nod, and Regulus turns back to face Barty and Evan.

He takes a deep breath before saying, “You know, I didn’t really want to do this, since I hoped that it would eventually just be obvious. But I have been so confused for the last three weeks, and so I’m left with no other choice but to ask you guys straight out.”

He hesitates, but then sees that Barty has absentmindedly started stroking Evan’s arm with his fingers as he listens to what Regulus is saying, and it’s the final straw for Regulus. His next sentence comes out lacking the usual finesse of one raised in the House of Black when he blurts out, “Please just clear it up for me, are you guys dating, fucking, or literally just friends?”

And Dorcas nods vigorously to show that she shares the sentiment, while Pandora just listens to the whole exchange with a somewhat carefree but slightly intrigued attitude, all while knitting something that vaguely resembles a scarf.

And Barty and Evan glance at each other in confusion, before looking back at Regulus. And Barty says, “We thought we told you? We’ve been together since the beginning January.”

And then they act as if they’re just about to go on with their lives without saying anything more, but Regulus and Dorcas aren’t just about to let it go that easily. So Dorcas says—after digesting this new information for a second—“Seriously? It’s May, you guys. That’s five months that you’ve left the three of us in the dark on this, and now you just casually drop this information on us, then expect us to move on just like that?”

At this, Evan shoots a confused glance at Pandora, saying, “But I know that I told you, Panda. I remember, it was when we were in the woods in that one clearing with the fairies. Why didn’t you just tell Reg and Cas?”

“Oh,” she replies, “I figured you guys would’ve told them if you had wanted them to know. It wasn’t my place to say,” she says simply, before going back to knitting.

Regulus blinks. “That’s. . . that’s actually pretty good reasoning,” he admits reluctantly. “But wait a minute. Barty, didn’t you have multiple girlfriends all throughout January?”

At this, Evan groans and tucks his face into Barty’s chest. Barty’s face turns red in embarrassment as he says, “Yeah, well, it was, uh, complicated. To say the least.”

Evan then says something unintelligible into Barty’s chest, which causes Regulus to say, somewhat sarcastically, “What was that, Evan?”

Evan emerges, shooting a glare at Regulus, before saying, “By “complicated,” Barty means that we were sleeping together on a regular basis, but it still wasn’t enough for him to realize that he wanted to actually date me. He just thought that it meant that he found me to be really hot. Isn’t that right, Barty dear?”

“Shut up,” Barty whines, “I was confused. And I am sorry, you know. Besides, you did agree to it in the first place!”

“Yeah, because that’s all I thought I was ever going to get!”

His expression softens when he sees Barty’s hurt expression, though, raising a hand to brush Barty’s hair out of his face. “But we figured it out, didn’t we?” He asks, with a slight smile on his face.

“Yeah,” Barty smiles back dreamily, “we did.”

“Oh Merlin,” Regulus says, startling Barty and Evan out of their own little world. “You two are disgustingly sappy. I have no clue how I didn’t realize you guys were dating. And how did I completely miss all of this drama?”

“You didn’t, at least not fully,” Evan assures him. “Remember the first week of February when Barty and I didn’t talk to each other at all? And you guys thought it was because Barty slept the girl I liked? Well you were right about the fact that I was mad that Barty slept with her, just not because I liked her.”

Dorcas suddenly gasps, then says with a shocked tone, “And that time that I walked into your dorm, and you pushed Barty off of your bed really fast, and your guys’ faces were all red, it wasn’t really because you were having a pillow fight, was it?!”

Barty winces at that. “Actually… we were having a pillow fight. That time, at least. Not that we didn’t use that excuse later on Regulus.”

Regulus makes a disgusted face. “Ugh. I did not need to know that.”

Evan laughs at that. “Seriously though, how did you not guess? Why would we be having a pillow fight with our shirts off?”

Regulus looks taken aback. “I… I didn’t think about it. You guys are two of my best friends, so that’s not my first thought when I see something like that. Especially when you tell me otherwise.”

He levels a glare at them, causing Barty to start to apologize. “Look, we’re sorry. We really thought we’d told you! It’s just that—”

“No, no,” Regulus cuts him off. “It’s fine. I’m just expecting to hear everything later, okay?”

Barty raises an eyebrow at him. “Everything? You sure about that?”

“Most things,” Regulus clarifies. “Not all.”

“That’s what I thought.”

The conversation dies out, and Barty and Evan go back to talking about how to master the charm that Flitwick taught them about that day, and Pandora occasionally chips in with advice since Charms is her best subject. Regulus pulls out a poetry book, and Dorcas starts to study Quidditch plays.

This lasts for a while, until Evan suddenly sits up and says, “Wait a minute, Regulus, Barty and I literally sleep in the same bed every single night. And you’re seriously telling me that you didn’t realize?”

“Shut up!” Regulus says, and finally everything is cleared up between all of them, and the group dynamic goes back to the way it was before all this happened.

With some exceptions of course, as Barty and Evan are, in fact, still dating.

And that, my friends, is one of my headcanons for how the rest of the skittles learned about Rosekiller :)

Thinking how Sybelle was so in love with music that she would often play the piano for hours straight, forgetting to eat, sleep etc and she believes her biological brother literally bought Benji to take care of her. Thinking how her biological brother exploited her talent and was violent and she would take the beat, but wouldn't let him touch Benji. Thinking how Armand doesn't remember/know much afte his suicidal attempt and how he survived, but his first memory is somehow reappearing where they were and Sybelle being attacked while Benji prayed for help. Thinking how Armand killed Sybelle's abusive brother and they both helped him. Thinking how those two became Armand's children and they all helped each other so much. Thinking how the first time Lestat woke from his coma, he asked Sybelle to play for him. Thinking how Louis goes to live with Armand, Benji and Sybelle and they're considered to be a family. Thinking how Lestat would watch them from afar wanting to join them. Thinking how Lestat would always listen to Benji's radio program, remember him in random moments and say things like "that's what Benji believes", "Benji would enjoy this", because at that point Lestat just knew Benji. Thinking how Lestat loved the design of the Trinity Gate and felt at home in library and said "Armand couldn't have created a better place for him". Thinking how when there's a fire in the castle, Sybelle's clothes get ruined and she snaps, Lestat and Benji protect and cover her up. Thinking how Lestat adopts Rose after she becomes an orphan and her biological grandparents reject her. Thinking how Viktor was raised by his biological mother Flannery, Fareed and Seth. Thinking how it's said that Viktor has three parents and after meeting his biological father Lestat, he got four. Thinking about the times we see Viktor, Rose, Sybelle and Benji standing close to each other in a room, suggesting they're close. Thinking about the parallels those seven characters. Thinking about how many of them ended up choosing the family they found and made for themselves than the families they were born into and hurt them. Thinking about unconventional relationships and types of love that might look weird on paper and be complicated to define, but are so real, so present and so beautiful on The Vampire Chronicles.

Onto WHY she's my favorite currently-

It's gotta be how much I've seen her change and grow with me, like I've had her since the start of middle school and it's so interesting how she started as a Fanon Chara knockoff (Those were dark days-) into the headstrong demon hybrid gal who struggles to really express her good emotions that she is now!

She's also one of the most fleshed-out OCs that I have, since she has an actual family and home life! Fun fact about her, she used to be a witch before I decided to give that trait to her ancestor and her younger sister. Nowadays, she's just a girl who's trying to get past highschool drama, hopefully gain the courage to confess to her crush, and provide for her family!!

I also adore her design since her red streaks are natural and demon hybrids naturally have pointed ears in The Zeroverse (An original world that I've made with my friend @nyanbadger50!!) Her scarf is also the last gift (and one of the ONLY gifts) she got from her dead mom, it's meant to protect her and keep her safe!

See the only problem here is that mean I'll have to choose, like who my favorite is literally switches every other day. But, I think I'll yap about Pandora for a change, because I don't get to do that often enough.

I see her as someone who is very interested in the theory behind spells and magic (but maybe that's just because I'm itching for a more concert magic system). She has a tendency to forget that the people around her doesn't know nearly as much as she does and therefor often comes of as a bit odd and is often quickly dismissed because of it. But if you take your time to figure out the context of what she is saying, you'll quickly realise she's one of the smartest people in the entire school.

She has a bit of a beef with the school about the choice to focus completely on the practical application of magic instead of the theory behind it. Most days you can find her in the library across from Regulus Black, one of the very few people who are able to keep up with her.
