Rest in Heavenly Peace Shanquella Brenada Robinson
January 9, 1997 - October 29, 2022
Robinson was a graduate of the historically black college Winston-Salem State University. She ran several boutique beauty and children's hair-braiding businesses, under her "Exquisite Kids" and "Exquisite Boutique" brands, in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was killed October 29th, 2022 at the age of 25 when she embarked on a trip to Mexico with a "friend" and 5 other assailants (3 men and 3 women who accompanied Shanquella).
While on this trip she was violently attacked by at least one of the female entourage (with other videos displaying another separate attack from another female from the same group).
Robinson dies of Severe Spinal Cord Injury and Atlas Luxation 15 minutes after the attack, but the entourage doesn't call for medical help until hours later.
Based on this police report and the investigations of the Mexican authorities, the US State Department initially released a statement reporting that "Mexican authorities said there was no clear evidence Robinson was murdered".
On November 16, the U.S. Department of State responded they were aware of the incident, releasing following statement:
"We are aware of these reports. Protecting the welfare of U.S. citizens overseas is among our top priorities. Out of respect for the privacy of those involved, we have no further comment at this time," the department stated.
The word, Femicide, becomes more popular as the nation would learn that countries like Mexico have harsh punishments for brutal and violent acts against women. However, to this day, not a single arrest has been made.
October 29, 2023 (1 year after Shanquella's death) the Robinson family files a lawsuit and still demands justice and people across the country have demanded that those responsible be held accountable.

Mother's REVENGE|Shanquilla's Mom SUING Cabo6 AND The Feds|Says Justice will be hers
On Monday, Shanquilla Robinson's family filed a wrongful Death lawsuit in North Carolina against the 'Cabo Six' who were with Robinson on the fateful trip.
Those individuals were named in the suit as Daejhanae Jackson, Alysse Hyatt, Malik Dyer, Wenter Donovan, Khalil Cooke and Nazeer Tyree Wiggins.
Daejhanae, 28, was previously identified as the person in the distressing video w/ Robinson. Mexican authorities issued a warrant for Daejhanae's arrest , but no movements to extradite the US citizen have been made. The warrant was initially issued for femlcide, meaning the intentional **** of a woman. 'We need justice for Shanquella Robinson. It has been two years and there's no reason that they

This is so upsetting. Warnings for violence, injustice, and misogyny.
This is incredibly upsetting. She was a young woman, only 25, out with friends and was later found with a cracked spine. There was a video that came to light "showing Robinson, visibly drunk, involved in a fight where she was violently beaten."
And do you know what prosecutors decided?
"In their statement announcing no US charges, United States Attorney Dena King and the FBI said there was not enough evidence of wrongdoing to issue criminal charges in this case."
not enough evidence of wrongdoing. She has a cracked spine. There is a video of her being attacked. NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE? We've seen missing persons cases solved because a man had his elbow hanging out of a car window and they profiled him, but here with a whole video there's 'not enough evidence?'
Once again a black woman dies and no one is held accountable. But Shanquella died with no support from the courts, no justice from anyone, and no one rallying behind her family shouting her name. But things might look up, I don't want to be so pessimistic. According to the article:
...Robinson’s family sent a letter to the White House demanding action. Robinson’s case was addressed by White House Press Secretary Karen Jean-Pierre days later.
Remember these women who never face justice, and how black women's deaths often go unspoken and unsolved, it's time we make a change and say her name.

😡 This is an absolute outrage! "Not enough evidence". A murder has been done and the suspects will live the rest of their lives free! You really have to watch your own back in this world and not put your faith completely in any sort of world justice system. Surround yourself with positive people on your level. Any hint of discord with them or bad vibes, cut them off immediately! Too much evil has infiltrated too many minds, even those closest to you.

A lawyer representing the family of #ShanquellaRobinson, the Charlotte woman who died during a trip with friends to Mexico last October, sent a cease-and-desist letter to the crime drama “Street Legal” for its alleged use of her death in a recent episode, REVOLT reports.
“We must express our profound dismay at the distressing misrepresentation and unauthorized use of Shanquella’s identity and the events surrounding her tragic passing,” the letter from attorney Sue-Ann Robinson reads, according to REVOLT.
The series, which airs on the streaming app Tubi, allegedly crossed a line with its season 2 episode 2 show titled “Frenemies.” Sue-Ann Robinson wrote that the episode infringed on Shanquella Robinson and her family’s legal rights and inflicted emotional distress on her loved ones by forcing them to relive the tragedy “in a manner that is inaccurate, disrespectful, and damaging to the reputation.”
The attorney demanded that #Tubi and others remove the episode and Robinson’s likeness from their platforms. There’s also a demand for a public apology and compensation to her family.

Shanquella Robinson: What's Happened Since Her Death?
The heartbroken family of a North Carolina woman who was killed on vacation in Mexico are set to sue their daughter's six friends who were traveling with her. Shanquella Robinson, 25, traveled from Charlotte to San Jose Cabo on October 28, 2022 and rented out a villa to celebrate a friend's birthday.
Less than 24 hours after entering Mexico, Shanquella would be dead and her body left in Mexico while her travel companions left back for America.
Attorney Sue-Ann Robinson told Newsweek: 'The lawsuit will be against the six travel mates including the three who lied by omission by failing to disclose that someone had been beating Shanquella prior to her death.'
Daejhanae Jackson, was named as the friend seen throwing punches at Shanquella in the hours before her death. She is wanted in Mexico, and her last known address is in Jamestown, North Carolina.

The explanation given to the doctor was that Robinson "drank a lot of alcohol." The doctor recommended that Robinson be admitted into the hospital, but her travel companions insisted she be treated in the apartment room.

She remarked how she suggested that her daughter be taken to an emergency room, but her daughter's travel companions had lied to her, claiming her daughter's travel insurance was of no use in Mexico and that the emergency room required $5,000 in cash for her daughter to be seen.
She recalled how further doubts began to surface, when the autopsy report emerged, showing the cause of death was a broken neck, and not alcohol poisoning.

Shanquella Robinson's spine was intact, per the coroner.
Originally I said the spinal injury because of this passage but I'm now seeing it's more complex, thanks anon for bringing this to my attention. It's a further discrepancy between what the FBI found and the mexican coroner. This is odd, and people are asking how that could have possibly been misconstrued and why, if we have a video of someone attacking her, that we have "insufficient evidence" for an arrest. Good, I hope we continue to ask questions, maybe we'll get answers.
