The reality star confirmed her departure during an appearance on the Friday, December 20 episode of the “Going Rogue” podcast, which she guest hosted. “I was not asked back next season,” Bellino, 47, revealed. Bellino, who particularly clashed with castmate Shannon Storms Beador, 60, said she wasn’t overly surprised when she learned she was unable to return. “I can’t say it came as a shock, it did not come as a shock,” Bellino said on the podcast. “It was a hard conversation. … I guess I wasn’t really prepared [because] I didn’t think contracts were coming out — like, I thought we had more time. … [So] it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information.” Bellino had returned to the Housewives franchise as a “friend” following a decade-long absence. (Bellino kicked off her first stint in 2008’s season 4 before leaving in season 8.) On the podcast, Bellino said that having previously dealt with leaving the show meant she was able to take the news in her stride. “It was a little bit of a relief,” Bellino said. “I mean nobody wants the rejection, and no one wants to [hear] you’re not asked back. After Shannon Beador spent her entire season 17 defending her relationship, they still ended up breaking up when the season wrapped.

As Shannon was an emotional mess and drinking heavily, it all crashed and burned with her dramatic DUI in September.

She has since been sentenced to 3 years of probation and 40 hours of community service for her DUI.

She proclaimed at BravoCon that she’s working on herself, but she was still touring with Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson and whooping it up.

It still seems like someone is in denial about her issues if you ask me.

However, Shannon’s distress must have reached supernova when pictures of John with Alexis Bellino started circulating on social media.

Shannon and Tamra don’t exactly have the greatest of relationship with Bellino. Alexis’ ex-husband Jim Bellino had sued them for defamation back in 2018.

They won their case against him, but it was a costly experience – as it was mentioned in season 14.

The name “Bellino” might give Shannon PTSD.

Alexis tried to deny it and claimed they were just friends, but in December they officially started dating.

She also got a promise ring for Christmas! She posted on Instagram:

"Words cannot. Actions do. I will no longer feel guilty. I will not apologize. Love will create its own story. I love you Johnny J.”

Did they try to deny the romance so they wouldn’t hurt Shannon’s feelings? They fooled no one.

The most bizarre thing about this romance is that Shannon tried to claim that John was a very private person who didn’t like the cameras.

But the women were sick of the inconsistencies with her stories. When the cameras were down, Shannon told a different story.

She had told multiple people that John secretly loves the limelight and that is a big reason why he was in a relationship with Shannon.

Does Alexis know she’s just another pawn in his attempt of extending his time in the limelight?
