we all carry around pieces of the people we used to be or people who are no longer here. when I lost my uncle, suddenly I had all this love returned to me and I had no idea what to do with it. it was this great overflowing river busting through every dam that I could place. so I hardened my heart and refused to give out any more of that love. and people come into your life still and they say things: "like it must be really good to have xyz around,," but the person you really want to talk to or you really need is gone and all you have is all of these things that should mean something and you have this pale blue dot still spinning and how can you not want to rip the world down around you.

but you can't. the world spins on regardless of your actions and will continue to carry on. the matter is that you don't let that love forced back into your hands, you slowly give more pieces of it away to people and you see the light in them too, and it's not the same as it was, it could never be. but grief transforms into love if you let it.

you just have to sit in the sun and wait.

sometimes people can't and their action that are to soothe, hurt and grief becomes anger. and anger is a powerful tool
