El título del primer álbum de Shakin´ and The Sunsets, "A Legend" (Parlophone, 1970) puede parecer una fanfarronada, pero no fue en balde. Ese súper esquivo disco de portada pulida, hermosa y brillantemente laminada y todavía con chulas solapas en contraportada es una verdadera leyenda, un LP muy difícil de ver por estos pagos.

Hay que escuchar lo bien que suena ese "I Believe What You Say", fresssh-co, genial, un puro deleite para los sentidos.

El álbum lo produjo súper Dave Edmunds, que ya estaba al loro de los nuevos grupos al viejo estilo que salían, y su toque rockpilero se aprecia muy bien en su versión de "Spirit Of Woodstock (Remains In America Today)" de Ernie Maresca (escuchen el trote de esa guitarra rítmica), canción en homenaje al famoso festival que en cierto modo enlaza con el ascenso de los Sha Na Na allí presentes.
