Decided to do the next Brindleclan update at 75 moons! Here's a general summary plus a few specific stories.

Next I wanna talk about Milkmask and Honeychaser.

These two are both founders, Honeychaser being the first deputy, and Milkmask being the first medicne cat of Brindleclan. They each had mostly separate lives, Honeychaser even having a different mate before she went to star clan. Milkmask ended up leaving the medicine den and becoming a warrior. Eventually these two become mates, but never have kits... until they're elders. They lived out their full clan lives before committing to kits, and I think that's neat. I will always love these two cats.

Next we have the story of Shadowstripe and Cragsong!

Shadowstripe was found on a patrol by Brindleclan cats, Including Coldstar. Shadowstripe asked Coldstar to take him in, and in exchange he would aide the clan as a medicne cat! Coldstar agreed and he's been with the clan since.

Not too many moons after Shadowstripe got here, a patrol found a group of mewling kits laying with a queen who had passed to Starclan. They took the kits in, and among them was Cragkit. Cragkit had Starclan visions from an early age and decided they wanted to apprentice as a medicne cat. Shadowstripe agreed.

Looking at these two cats they look extremely similar. Not only that, but they are both drawn to Starclan. I believe Cragsong's unkown father is Shadowstripe. He was with Iceflash and something happened where he had to turn to the clans for help. He didn't know Iceflash was going to have his kits. Sadly Iceflash passes to Starclan after giving birth, but her kits are saved by the clan their "unknown" father joined moons before. Shadowstripe and Cragsong do not know just how close they are. They think of their coat similarities as coincidence.

Stagfeather is Brindleclans new deputy! After Honeychaser retired to the elders den to have kits with Milkmask.

Longkit was found last moon in the territory mewling next to his mom who passed to Starclan. He's a kit I have high hopes for.

Coldstar lost one life since last update.

And last but not least we have the cats that have joined Starclan this far.

by the way, the first one is the youngest and then they get older going down, with Ferb being the oldest here. However, I don't count Ferb as part of this generation despite his age, because platypeople take longer to wean than cats do, so technically he stays in the 'under one moon old' maturity stage for a few more moons until Phineas is born, and I timed it so that they wean at the same time, making Ferb older but both of them the same maturity for their respective species.

Redrew a bunch of my ocs for art fight reasons.

Names in order of appearance: Hellstar(she/they), Delta(any pronouns except he/him), Cobalt(he/him), Shadowstripe(he/they), Raven(they/them) and Milford(he/it)

Hellstar and Shadowstripe are warrior cats ocs, Raven is a pokemon oc, and the other 3 are completely original.

I know hellstar is a weird name for a warrior cat but frankly I do not care

But since he’ll be red now maybe Spicestripe, Hawthornstripe, Snakestripe (after snake berries), Barberrystripe, Bitterstripe (bittersweet nightshade), Dogwoodstripe, Pepperstripe, Yewstripe, Spindlestripe, Arrowstripe/ Arrowwoodstripe, Rowanstripe

I actually really like Yewstripe for him…

Not only does it fit with his new red pelt, but it also ties back to his grandma Featherwhisker, alongside a character trait of his in which he’s fascinated by herbs, berries, and especially poisons.

I loved this, I mean I seem to love all Cassandra Clare books so I'm not really surprised. But I found myself loving the Blackthorn family more than I thought I would. Following Emma and the Blackthorns who had been introduced at the end of the mortal instruments. I really loved these characters and considering how many of the Blackthorns there are they each felt very realistic and fleshed out. The bond between Emma and all the Blackthorns was really beautiful and something I really enjoyed reading.

The story was great fun, but then who doesn't love a good murder mystery, especially one with a magical backdrop. 

There was also more queer rep in this than i was expecting considering Emma and Jullian are the main focus. Can’t wait to get stuck into the next one.
