hell, he's still maintaining the jar clinic, the Keep still shows signs of activities, his "suffering" is him not being able to see his mom. but it is what it is, he already accepted that. yet people still love to blame Marika while we are the one fucking his brain chemical up???

People in the comments of the Assassin's Creed: Shadows trailer becoming armchair historians trying to explain why Yasuke shouldn't be a protagonist actually are hilarious. Like besties this is a franchise where people can control eagles with their minds and a good 5% of the population are descended from evil psychic aliens. I THINK we can expand on a story of Japan's only-recorded African koshō without it jumping the shark.

having seen at least the rough outlines of all the romances now I have to say that I think emmrich's is probably objectively the best in terms of coherence and completeness of story arc (with the understanding that ultimately the 'best' romance is whichever one makes YOUR heart sing anyway so objectivity is a silly thing to claim that way, it just felt like it's the arc with the most well-paced focused content and the least dangling threads)... but lucanis' is my favourite haha. just. the whole kneeling before your beloved full of reverence but without any of the distance that usually implies??? his complete undramatic certainty and calm in every scene with rook after this, having spent the whole game caught between fear and longing???? mr. lives in a pantry but it says nothing about my psyche don't worry about it it's purely for tactical reasons that I keep myself contained in a small dark room not entirely unlike a cell, love among the parsnips -- finally coming to rook in their room and it's so comfortable and comforting???? after all the times rook supports and comforts him through the game he's finally able to return the same to them when they need it while being so calm and steady and it's so fucking sweet and feels so effortless and with no price attached?????? he basically assigns himself the role of your bodyguard and he WILL stab a god over it??????????????? the turn to protector (which was in his heart all along longing to get out and find a place) of it all????? he sounds like he's found himself unexpectedly stumbling into such a soul-lightening state of revelatory existential relief, full on 'you only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves' mary oliver style, and he goes and he shares that with rook and protectively envelops them in it when they're hurting??????????????????????????? hello for the maker's sake hello can anyone hear me?????

hey guys! i'm sage, and i'm the author of the old foes rising series on ao3. basically, it's harry potter meets 2012 tmnt, but i've attempted to throw in some angst to spice things up. if you're curious to learn more, these are the summaries of the books that have been posted on ao3 so far:

Shadows like Fire (Book 1): They failed. All of them--their father, their friends, even themselves. They had all been killed by the Shredder. Leo had managed to get in a lucky swing of his katana with his dying breath, but he and everybody else that had fought in the war was gone, lost to their world. Or so they thought. When Leo and his brothers wake up in a strange London apartment, as humans nonetheless... well, confused isn't exactly the way to describe it. And months later, when a letter from a strange school arrives, and a tall, stern woman in a witch's hat shows up to take them to a place called Diagon Alley where they could get their supplies, they are suddenly thrown into a world of magic, and--of course--danger. Despite the hundreds of other questions each of them have about their new situation, a few stand out among the others: Weren't they dead? How did they get to this world? And who else woke up there?

Secrets like Lies (Book 2): Leo and his brothers had survived a year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry--but just barely. The wizarding world is filled with peril, as the brothers will soon learn. finding out how inherently selfless marth is as a character while palying fe11 ("i'm a prince before i'm a son or a brother") makes me also really appreciate how chrom's meant to contrast him in a sorta obvious way. like theyre both selfless but chrom's is in a way that's inherently selfish unlike marth's and i think that's neat.

“Sir, we’ve… There’s been an encounter with a Reaper class entity.” 

There were several classifications for ecto-entities. Several ways the Ghost Investigation Ward classified each. Several common ones that they could easily destroy, easily study. Others however… others were dangerous. Incredibly dangerous. 

There’d only been two other Reaper-class entities confirmed before- both contained but barely. RP-1, a large knight-like entity seemingly made from shadows, and RP-2, a child-like creature that could near perfectly mimic a human. 

And now, there was a third. A third entity that could- and judging from the reports coming in had- killed. Had done so several times even. Which meant it needed to be contained yesterday. 

“Send out the teams- I want this thing in Site X Now!”
