Lately, my mind has been going over every negative thing I did in the past as well as every toxic relationship that I've let go of. It keeps looking at ways I could have done things differently and whether or not I was being fair in my choices. So this morning, I asked the cards "What do I need to know about letting go of past negativity?" I drew the Sun, the Hermit and Death from The Shadowland Tarot. 🎃 The Sun is here to shine some light on those murky thoughts of the past. A monster rides a Llama like creature down a path that is dotted with smiling sunflowers. This card makes me think of the joy I felt at the end of every negative situation and also the relief I felt. It also makes me think that my actions, while I perceive them as negative, had a positive result in the end. This card is joy and I will embrace it. 🎃 The Hermit wants to shed even more light on the situation. A ghost stands by a lamp, slightly withdrawn from others but observing everything. I need to take some time to look into my mind, body and spirit and try to figure out why my mind is so concerned about the past when I have the future to contend with. I have to take thr time to check in with myself and embrace the stillness so that the reason becomes clear. 🎃 Death greets me, a vulture like creature. He is bringing change and growth. There is a nest of eggs on his head and he holds another egg. Inside the egg is a man who waves cheerfully at me. Death wants to remind me that life is constantly changing. In order to grow, much as the man in the egg will begin to grow, I will have to let go of the bits of shell that are hurting me and allow change to happen rather than what already has. 🎃 These cards bring big magic and high energy today! This morning, I asked the cards "How do I celebrate the day?" I drew the Devil, the Knight of Cups and the 6 of Wands from The Shadowland Tarot. ⭐ The Devil gave me pause for a moment. What does he have to do with celebrating? Well, pretty much everything! He stands in front of me holding what looks like booze in front of a shelf offering unearthly delights. I have to let loose once in a while, give into excess and pleasure. I just have to be careful not to lose myself completely. ❤ The Knight of Cups greets me holding a starfish and a Cup. The Cup has a heart perched on its rim. The sun is shining brightly behind her. The Knight of Cups is kind and loving. I feel a little lost at the moment, as if I have lost a little bit of myself. So this morning, I asked the cards "How do I sparkle today?" I drew the 2 of Wands, the Sun and the Queen of Cups from The Shadowland Tarot. 🌟 The 2 of Wands tells me that a decision is ahead. It shows me a ghost standing in front of a globe. In his hands he holds two candles. He is trying to decide which way to go in and where he wants to go. It seems I am at a crossroads. The world is wide open in front of me and I have to choose my direction. I will have a choice to make in order to move forward. 🌟 The Sun is pure joy. It is light in the dark and everything awesome. The Sun shows me a little monster riding what looks almost like a Llama. He holds on to the sun as if it is a balloon. This card lets me know that I am in control of my own joy and sparkle. I can control where my light goes and the direction that it takes. 🌟 The Queen of Cups sings! She stands with her guitar and a cup of something warm. She is in front of a light house upon the rocks. She had been on quite the journey to get to where she is and still she sings. She is a reminder to shine my light, to use my voice and to sing out loud, even if it is off key. She is kindness and light. Like her, I will shine. 🌟 I love how the cards are reminding me to shine on and to sparkle.
