SG Beast Wars: The Beast Machines equivalent would have team differences. I haven't decided who would die in the first series, but at least Wasp, Blackarachnia, and Tarantulas would be alive in addition to Megatron II.

Perhaps Optimus Primal would have a similiar agenda in BM as baseline's Megatron II? It'd propably makr more sense than Megatron II doing that in the baseline since Primal is propably idrologically similiar to G1 SG au Optimus Prime (why would he take his nake if he wasn't?). What if he does something like the vehicon generals, and Blsckarachmia is one of the victiks like baseline Silverbolt?

I’ve been thinking of what having a Shattered Glass version of Prime coming into TFP’s universe would look like. Like a good ol episode of TOS and the crazy shit they went through

But more between SG!Megs snd P!Optimus :

Would they try to fall into past dynamics of Megatronous and Orion in an effort to fix what was agonizingly broken for both, only to inevitably clash as neither can be who they look like to each other?

Would they both avoid each other, riddled with a shared yet untouched nostalgia from before the war that stings instead of comforts, only joining in battle or strategy?

Or would they just talk. Talk about their own sides and how their own wars came to be, forming a new connection as SG!Meg’s refusal to follow P!Megatron corrupt rule forced two similar mechs into the same alliance? Fighting not at brothers who dance around each other effortlessly but as friends who find a new flow as a river would.

(Or just the Autobots reactions in general! Ah, so many thoughts. I feel like Ratch would loose his processor the moment they found Megs)

And lastly between SG!Optimus and P!Megatron:

How would the drunken-in-power Warlord fair with the purple Prime? Would the brutal Prime scare or intrigue him, having Megatron be so used to a reasonable, he’ll be it foolish, Optimus?

Would he find himself falling deeper into a unclimbable ditch as SG!Optimus urges him to take what’s ‘rightfully’ his, having Soundwave nearly ride up the Prime’s back as he becomes more of an issue than a tool of Primal destruction?

Would he be fearful as SG!Optimus starts to take control with similar strategy his own Optimus has shown before in battle but with less care and more fierceness?

Would he send SG!Optimus to try and trick the Autobots in ways MECH failed after seeing how some of the Autobots faltered every so slightly when SG!Optimus was thrown into battle?

Or would he banish the maddening Prime, causing SG!Optimus to try and take control of a new world he found himself in, crating another evil that is now everyone’s problem as Decepticons and Autobots alike are on the purple Prime’s hotlist? Which Arachnid would no doubt join-

When the Sonic the Hedgehog movie trailer made its debut at several weeks ago a lot of focus was put on the, let’s say questionable, character model for the titular character Sonic.

Now of course, since that time, director Jeff Fowler announced on Twitter that they’ve listened to the fan reaction and in an unprecedented move have pushed the release date back as they work on making modifications…

" Ah. Our enforcer. Primus Voice greets you, and blesses you of noble mein. Do you bring us something of interest or concern?" Optimus feels too small for the matrix sometimes. But the urge to ruin his paint is a faint echo.

For now? He concentrates on the calm cold calculations of the Tactical Network. A trusted visitor to the more inner parts of the temple.

SG Beast Wars: Not sure what to do to distinguish bots' altmodes from the baseline.

Last i checked the dinosaur colors are basically speculation, so anything goes (within reason). I could make Rattrap black, white, or brown instead of grey. Tigatron could be a regular tiger instead of white tiger. Optimus Primal could be a melanistic white gorilla. Depth Charge could be black and white like a normal manta ray. Airazor's altmode species is vague, but she could be a white morph gyrfalcon (while baseline Airazor is brown morph)?

But what the shit am i going to do with Cheetor, Rhinox, and Silverbolt?

We know a few (a few) dinosaur colors with more accuracy than others (see: sinosauropteryx, pscittasaurus, and Anchiornis), but I mean as far as I think SG Megatron: tyrannosaurus edition goes I think it would be immensely pretty if he was countershaded dark grays and light grays (maybe with his baseline canon marbling/striping!) But that's just an idea. You can also model him off of the Jurassic Park Green morph as I think that'd be pretty or the rusty reddish browns like the prehistoric planet tyrannosaurus!

Now for Rhinox we can take a look at other types of rhinoceros as I think he's based on the white rhino, maybe the reddish of the sumatran rhino or the darker gray of the black rhino! (... Probably. He's probably based on the white rhino. Eyeballing it here)

With cheetor that's difficult because cheetahs look fairly similar because their inbred as all fuck, but I've considered leuistic cheetor before (he could also have coloration more based on the swirly king cheetah morph/subspecies?) (The king cheetah coloration is probably our best bet)

Silverbolt... Is sure as hell a creature alright. Staring at his altmode I'm tempted to suggest changing his golds to silvers and his grays to reddish or brownish (or you can go for the white wolf color morph, that's an option) (the red wolf species/subspecies is super pretty imo, and they're also massively critically endangered beyond belief endangered)

There are so many gorgeous options for Dinobot, too many for me to sit down and think about unlike Megatron

But hey! That's all ideas!

As character development ( albeit for a villain), I see SG Optimus Primal going from loyal Maximal solider who wants maintain the state and supermacy, to wanting to overthrow Maximal command and put himself in charge as the new Supreme Commander and Emperor of the Maximals and Cybertron. Becoming dislluioned by what he sees complacency and incomptence from his Maximal superiors.

That’s exactly how I imagine his arc going too! Great minds think alike.

My whackiest idea yet

SG Beast Wars: No idea if Optimus Primal got a canonical pre-Earth name (Megatron II did; Gnashteeth). But in SG Beast Wars/G1 SG au continuity, he also took the name later and gave it to himself.

He was trying to get people to call him "Optimus Prime" (which, tbh, would basically be the cybertronian equivalent to making your minions call you "fuhrer"(!!)) but he gets called "Primal" instead, as an insult, and it sticks for some reason i'm not sire of yet.

That would make sense given this is a sequal of the g1 sg au and the context behind the original Optimus there

I don't have any ideas for Primal's previous name except maybe it should be a monkey pun? (Like how rattrap is rattrap before he gets his rat altmode)

so how would clifjumpers death and resurection in dark energon work in a shattered glass prime world?

Either it just doesn't happen

The dark energon contamination is less of a purposeful experiment and more of a highly unfortunate accident, in which decepticon command is horrified

My favorite option, we don't kill Cliffjumper. We "mirror" the event with a decepticon counterpart of his, and have the autobots dabble in dark energon or even another type of energon with similar effects

None of it happens, and Cliffjumper stays until a later date

Honestly for sg Cheetor I'm tempted to either invert his spots (light spots on a dark backround) or make him like a white cheetah or something
