#TADAAAA :D#ohh there's SO much going on here#the first one is interesting bc i tried to avoid gifs of the outside#but this one strikes me as a moment from before the blog started#a brief moment of introspection and dwelling on the past as he looks out at the dwindling remains of the forest#though to him i’m sure any second thought about what could’ve been is a second wasted and he snaps himself out of it shortly after#THE BEAR THE TEDDY BEAR#it's a foreboding reference to the barbaloots it's a representation of the past it's everything to me :D#the spotlight for being the center of attention and scrutiny alike; loud and flashy juxtaposed with the softer candles on the other side#the gears are for the factory but note how clean it looks#showing his desperate attempts to keep his reputation intact and insist that absolutely nobody has died within the walls of this place#the velvety red fabric resembles both theater curtains (performance and the blog) and the curtains in his office#and they’re positioned opposite to the one glimpse we see of the outside world calling back to that one scene in the 1972 version#a camera for both his surveillance over thneedville and the press plus a reference to that old photo of him before his business days#the entire middle column is a brief glimpse into all the good intent that got soured along the way#while the right column represents his success and splendor#alternatively the bear and the camera could reference that one scene in hbcib with pipsqueak!#and that last one is for the extravagance of the ball!#you could say it being next to the camera means he’ll be keeping a close eye on partygoers >:3#i actually steered clear of stuff like sewing and other such manual work to show how he stands at the very top#arghh i could go on about every little part of the layout and how the different themes connect and oppose each other it's so fun!!!!! :D#anyways i hope ya like it ouo!!!#biggerler#ask the biggering onceler#stimboard#my nonsense

finally finished tracing out the skirt embroidery!
there was a lot of adjusting i had to do to this to make it symmetrical and also just... make sense (seriously look at the original skirt for a few seconds and you'll start seeing all the places where its.... weird) but im super happy with my results! im planning on using this (or at least elements of it) on the rest of the costume to tie the thing together!
in the end, i couldnt get the lower flower to come out in a way i liked that also felt cohesive with the rest of the design, so i left it off, but i think its just as good without! you can see my first attempt at it in one of the templates below the cut though, if youre interested!
this was fun! idk if anyone other than me will find use in this, but it was worth it anyway,i learnt a lot about using the path tool in the process of making this & already have some future plans for the things i picked up on.

I think I mentioned a while back I'd post nibling frog momence after the gift's done given. which happened on the 2nd this month I just forgot lmao. anyways we can do it now. I used the boigameista pattern scaled up to four pieces of A4 print paper and decided to double deck it to a two layer thing, not unlike a pillow, for ease of washin. because it was gonna be gifted to a one year old child
took a long time and made a number of mistakes bc hand sewing makes me worse as a person but this guy was done in time for the birthday occasion and that's what matters. chose non-fuzzy fabrics for it because we live in a dense city in the tropics and from personal experience if I hug something made of fur I would explode. the original plan included felt patterns on its back for bonus textures for baby but that wouldn't stretch well along with the rest of the thing so had to hold that back. eventually we got this
zipper across its ass, the coat type of zipper bc I miscalculated when ordering. but it did have a shape and that's all that matters to me. will be a fun game for the baby to grow up and be severely misinformed about what a frog looks like

I wish they would they would love the cockroaches around here#and of course. bc the kind of rice we eat is more short-grained and thus usually not all the way dried like the longer-grained type we have#so many rice weevils. do u know those little fucks do not drown for a Long time#do u know they lay eggs inside the rice grains and that's how u find out ur rice about to become the weevil beverly hill#by washing the rice and seeing hollowed out grains float up. I have my pattern pieces all cut out, but now I have to wait for my fABRIC TO GET HERE, SINCE IT’S VACATIONING IN PENNSYLVANIA
#it’s actually gotten here really really fast#theoretically it’s going to be delivered today#but I want to sew all day today since there’s no one in the house and I can make sewing machine noises#and now I have to wait until probably late tonight for box#BUT. that is the price we pay for clearance fabric#I am attempting to sew clothes which has proven difficult#as I am a Halfling trying to equip Human armor#so the proportions are wrong#I gotta adjust for FAT but SHORT#but I think I almost got it. the first one I made turned out good#it’s just too tall in the shoulders.#but now that I know to compensate for that I can make the next one better#it’s a corset top btw#I learned how to buttonhole stitch#….. you know. I could make one with fabric scraps and sew patches onto it………#lazy witchblogging

one minute you're like "oh i think i could make an ita bag" and the next thing you know...
this is just a sample run to test out my pattern & techniques, not even my final window shape but im pretty happy with it! theres one tiny place i slipped, but i can just trim away a little more of the outline and youll never notice.
my goal is a backpack, but tbh i think when ive trialed my pattern im going to rip it all back apart and turn this into a round cross body bag- i think the window will look real good like that! i wasnt originally planning on getting use out of this but... im kind of falling in love
#i think ill also adjust the point of the top feather so it blends better#fabric stolen from work (literally from the bin which is why its grey) and sewn again. on my work machine#i feel p grateful to have the equipment that can handle this so i can just. whip up a bag if i want to#basically all i have to provide is the clear plastic (had some at home from protective table covers) and the lining fabric#which im undecided on so far! i wasnt planning on a traditional lining anyway hrbdjdbd#ita bag#sewing#ill need a stiffer vinyl for the real thing i think but this aint too bad#im hoping i can beg my supervisor for something we have in stock otherwise. bag fabric shopping for meeee#i have plans btw. i wanna make a couple different things! im having fun#sorry again if youre expecting other updates. things r pretty scattered over here & for now im just going along with my whims#so no promises on progress on any 1 project

all of my friends live kinda far away (i moved in middle school and never really made that many friends where i am now but was able to keep in contact with most of my friends back home even if i don't talk to all of them super regularly anymore) so Doing Things with irl friends doesn't happen often, but me and my best friend try to visit each other at least once a year, and when i go back to see her i am sometimes able to see some of our other friends too! when i do get to hang out with irl friends we usually spend a lot of the time just talking and catching up, but our friend group also likes to make silly powerpoints to present to each other and we all like a lot of similar media so we might watch a movie together or smth (but it's not very often that we can actually get everyone together since i live far away and a few of them are at schools in different states now)! but in general when i hang out with friends i like to go to bookstores or comic shops or museums or sometimes karaoke, and i also love to spend time just hanging out doing some sort of craft or watching a movie or showing each other silly videos!
