I agree that the UA teachers should've had more connection to the students. How do you think certain teachers could've mentored certain hero students? All I can think of is Aizawa teaching Hanta cuz similar tools and Present Mic teaching Kyoka and Manga cuz sound and/or mouth-based Quirks. Maybe Cementoss teaching Ibara and Shoto and Kojiro cuz wide-scale attacks?

For the sake of this, I'm ignoring Vlad King, Recovery Girl, and Power Loader. I just don't think that they have a lot to offer the other students. And I'll also not cover your own suggestions. I do think those are good suggestions, which is why I feel like it'd be redundant to cover them.

Gran Torino-Iida and Kosei: Gran Torino has the perfect ability to help both the boys in their own way. Whether pulling on his knowledge of movement to help out Iida or his reliance on his air flow to train Kosei.

Hound-Tsuyu and Jutora: Hound covers fields with both of these two, having an Animal Mutation with Tsuyu and have a similar skill set to Jutora. Shoot, they could even benefit from his knowledge on counseling, helping Tsuyu comfort people she's saving

Nezu-Momo and Monoma: This is less about helping them with their Quirks as much as it is helping out them as leaders and getting them to apply their own intellect as well as they can. Plus, it could help deal with the two's respective issues with egos early on.

Cementoss-Kirishima and Juzo: Cementoss can help these two in their own ways, improving Juzo's ability to move and apply his power and helping Kirishima improve his defenses. Especially since his own power can play against both of them so well.

Midnight-Denki and Komori: Denki and Komori both have Quirks with a lot of range and power, but not much in the way of control. Hey, just like Midnight. I'm sure she'd have plenty of tips on controlling and aiming such unwieldy powers.

Snipe-Aoyama and Rin: As tempted I was to put Pony here for the cow girl joke, I figured Aoyama and Rin needed Snipe's help more. The two need a lot of help reworking on their aim. Especially since the two can't seem to hit any living target.

Present Mic-Koda and Bondo: While these two do have Quirks that are based around the mouth, it's more about personality. Bondo and Koda are both extremely shy and can barely speak most times. So having Present Mic around could help a lot in breaking them out of their shells.

Thirteen-Mina and Kamakiri: These two have some of the most dangerous Quirks in either of their classes. Someone like Thirteen could help them exercise better control over their powers and help focus their intense energy into something more helpful, like dealing with rescue work.

Ectoplasm-Shoji and Setsuna: Ectoplasm has a power that makes it so he has to deal with plenty of sensory input and divided attention. This would make him a good fit for Setsunna and Shoji given how much their powers focus on information gathering and their own sensory abilities.

Eraserhead-Ojiro and Sen: Considering that these two are the go to hand to hand fighters of their respective classes, it's only fitting they work with the best marital artist in the series. Maybe they could even pick up some of his equipment, like Ojiro could get some clatrops to throw around or Sen could get the Capture Tape.

Getting married to a guy I only met once, and watching as people took pictured with me then going to go sit down at the main area, I rolled my eyes as people actually thought I was I love with this stranger, my grandma walked up to me and I tried smiling just for her, “you two look like such a beautiful couple, how did you two meet? Why didn’t you tell me about him?” I looked at my mom who decided to take a picture with both of us and she just smiled and laughed a little.

“You know kids these days, mother, they’re always keeping secrets” I sighed and they stood up and hugged me then walked into the main room. My friends hugged me and we sat down and took pictures, I nodded at them about the plan and we started, “Y/n your bun is loose” “really? Let’s go to my changing room to fix it” we walked away apologising to everyone and we walked to the changing room, I look at Setsuna since she’s the one that decided to switch with me. “Tsuna are you ready to get married again?” She nodded and we quickly switched clothes.

After putting the veil over her head and a cap on mine, before we stepped out Nina said something “why don’t we just run out of the venue instead” I look at her like she’s dumb “you know how obvious it is if I just run out, did you not see the amount of bodyguards here, it’s even risky doing this” she nodded and the girls and I went to go sit down at the main area, while Tsuna was getting ready to walk down the isle, my father got her to hold his arm while she made sure not to look at my father.

“Y/n I understand that you’re mad at me, but… this is for your safety” as soon as Tsuna was standing next to Yunho, Yunho could feel that something was wrong when she was avoiding eye contact

~ Yunho pov ~

Y/n was acting weird… when we first spoke she always kept eye contact even when she didn’t want to, now she was playing with her dress and avoiding eye contact. As soon as I finally got a good look at her… it wasn’t Y/n I look over at the seats and see a girl in a cap who hid her face with the cap but by looking at her lips it was definitely Y/n.

“This isn’t Y/n!”

“Shit” I got up and was about to run out buy got stopped by two large body guards who grabbed my arms and dragged me towards Yunho “GET OFF ME” they finally let go of me as soon as I was face to face with Yunho, I looked into his eyes in anger. “I don’t know you enough to marry you” he took my hat off and ran his hands through my hair he grinned touching my cheek and bent down to my height and whispered something in my ear “Y/n trust me, please” i was confused but nodded, why should i trust him is my dad up to something?

As soon as the vows finished we were meant to kiss, he grabbed my cheek and kissed me, I looked shocked but closed my eyes to make it look like I’m kissing him back, once he broke the kiss and smiled while everyone that didn’t know the truth plus my parents clapped. I broke the kiss and looked at how Yunho was just smiling at me.

After a while my older brother Hyunjin pulled me outside while I was talking to my friends, “You can’t be with that guy” I looked at him confused not knowing what he meant, I didn’t want to bring up the fact that it was forced upon me so I just asked him why “is there something wrong?” “I-It’s not being don’t worry” I looked at him pissed since he just bring me out here for no reason then “you can’t just do that asshole” he walked away and I ran up to him and slapped his head in anger “Hyunjin what is it?!” “I said don’t worry!” Yunho pulled me behind him and I could feel the tension between Hyunjin and Yunho.

I decided to just leave cause I didn’t want anything to do with this.

“Stay the fuck away from my sister” “we’re married dumbass” Hyunjin rolled his eyes “look just don’t hurt her cause I know your group is pretty fucking sadistic” “I would never hurt her I love her…” “oh yeah right you had a crush on her in high school” him being that up reminded me about how she acted when we first met again at her house “why can’t she remember me” Hyunjin sighed passing me a cigarette.

“On her 18th birthday something happened and the trauma made her forget stuff” “what happened?” Hyunjin looked at me like he remembered that we hate each other “it’s not my part to say… just don’t ask Y/n about it she already hates her birthday cause of it, just don’t remind her” Hyunjin walked away and I said something before he went into his car. “Where’s your group at?” “I’m not bringing them here, I’m not trying to ruin my sisters wedding with rivals.”

Back in 2022, for Mother's Day, the character designer for "Fresh Pretty Cure!," Hisashi Kagawa, posted a drawing on his Twitter to celebrate the day.

It appears to be a drawing of the Momozono family: Love, her parents, and Setsuna, the adoptive daughter, plus two children cut off at the bottom.

Here's the comment that Kagawa wrote for the drawing:

#MothersDay A doodle (of a wild idea)💕...a little early 😅

It's quite the interesting drawing for a number of reasons. To start off, the characters appeared to be aged up compared to how they looked like in the actual anime. Love's parents have a few wrinkles on their faces, and the two Pretty Cure appear to be drawn as adults, the designs based off a previous drawing that Kagawa did back in 2016.

Here was the comment Kagawa wrote for this drawing:

An illustration celebrating the sale of the second FreshPre Blu-Ray BOX! A drawing (of a wild idea) imagining the four girls that grew up within that timeframe [Note: 2016 marked 7 years since 2009, when FreshPre started, meaning the women are 21]. I made it up, so it's not official. If you want to enjoy the continuity of the All Stars films, please forget it. Sorry to those of you who say it's not what you expected! [Note: Because in the All Stars canon, no matter how many years have passed, the Cures don't seem to age despite the number of Pretty Cure growing with each year.]

Going back to the more recent Mother's Day drawing, Kagawa quote retweeted it last year with this comment, in celebration of the recent "Otona Pretty Cure":

An unlikely drawing I drew for Mother's Day last year! The multiverse of adult Pretty Cure!...or rather, the Momozono family of the multiverse.

So with all that set up, just who are those two kids cut off at the bottom? One could say that they're Love's siblings, i.e. her parents decided to have two more kids. But another interpretation is that they're the kids of Love and some other partner, is it Daisuke, or Setsuna?

Whichever one, Kagawa appears to be silent on it, as per this reply.

But it's interesting that he acts all modest about the sketches. He calls them "wild ideas" since, at least until "OtonaPre," or even a few years back, the idea of the Pretty Cure growing up was a wild concept to many. But for him to also stay silent on the identity of those two kids in the drawing, when he could easily say they're Love and Daisuke's kids (note that he isn't apart of the Momozono family sketch)...is this his way slyly saying he believes Love and Setsuna end up together and have kids, without the Toei ninjas getting on him?

I choose to believe it that way at least!

The title is a reference to the fact that. He flat out refuses to make friends. People try a lot and he just rejects them. He's the ace of the baseball team but everyone hates his guts, INCLUDING his battery partner, who is just. Totally exasperated all the time. Anyways Yugami has a special interest in rakugou and will just. Recite rakugou. He does it in order to calm himself down during baseball games and everyone's like 'what.' He also jumps interests quite a bit? But every time he gets OBSESSED. There was a period where he was obsessed with building furniture. He cannot read social cues and he does not care. Like at all. He really likes structure! He makes a list every day of all the things he has to do and then checks them off. They have a school festival and he goes to every single exhibit. Just to check them off his list. Not even an actual visit. He pops in and immediately leaves. Someone will talk about some relationship issue and he's like 'just like in [rakugou].'"

"People think he’s intimidating, but he’s one of the kindest characters in the show! He comes across as having a fairly flat affect with few expressions, and he’s often misinterpreted as being scary by others who don’t know him. He used to be aggressive, but chose to never fight unless protecting someone due to his abuelo’s influence, and I think he’s a low empathy flat affect icon!"

Taiyou -

"He befriends the main character through the power of autism (being completely unaware of the social cues telling him to avoid her and being extremely straightforward when complimenting her). He’s able to inadvertently twist any conversation by misinterpreting what people say, often taking things literally. The idea that someone doesn’t like this girl just Does Not Compute in his head. He’s astoundingly hyperempathetic, just the idea that he may have hurt someone made him burst into tears; and yet he seems to have difficulty reading other people’s emotions. And he has no sense of personal space at all. He’s a sweetheart and he makes up for every shitty “neurotypical person proves how nice they are by befriending the autistic person” trope."

Kai -

"I don’t think I can explain this in a convincing manner, but trust me it makes sense. For an (ex)assassin he is so bad a lying, he brings up details no one was talking about and ends up getting himself into trouble because of it. This is a massive spoiler, but I do think it’s really important to the point; during the first main game the cast are discussing the kitchen incident and whether or not Kai actually threatened Nao, causing her to attack Sou. During which they ask the question why? Why would Kai want Nao to do that, what would he get out of it? They eventually come to the conclusion that it’s because he was trying to steal the computer that Sou had found, and this immediately dooms Kai to his unfortunate fate. But the only reason they are able to get there is because Kai himself says ‘to steal something perhaps?’ when being questioned why he’d have it out for Sou. At that point it’s not even being bad a lying, there was no attempt to lie there he just said what happens in front of everyone and doomed himself. I love him but he’s not always the wisest. There’s something about even the main character thinking openly that he’s a bit weird. One of his first lines after being introduced is him worrying about the laundry he left hanging outside. They’ve been kidnapped and put in a death game and he’s worried about laundry. There something relatable about his limited facial expressions. His face doesn’t really change much unless he’s showing really big emotions, which makes him come across as really aloof and mysterious. The classic ’are you okay? you look sad’ face. Kai also won the most autistic Yttd character - excluding Gin- poll, so there’s that."

I really like the Yashahime manga! I mean, at least Inukag got some time with Moroha! Plus, Moroha knew Mirsan, and they knew her! Also, Setsuna really cares about Moroha, and Towa is actually really likable in the manga! I'm so glad Moroha is treated so nicely in this manga! I mean, the anime WAS HORRIBLE, but God, this manga is good. I like the plot and even though Inukag wasn't with her for long I can totally see them getting sealed away cause I mean they have horrible luck but they did watch over her plus she knew who her parents were!

Plus, my little Kirara knows who Moroha is and let's her love on her! I really like Setsuna in the manga. She's kind but not all over like Moroha!

Moroha is bashful! Overall, I really like this manga! I don't like Sesshoumaru or Sessrin, but I adore Setsuna, and honestly, Towa is growing on me. I hated the twins in the anime, but they sure are amazing in the manga!

Rin: Bad Inuyasha Character

Another bad damsel in distress in the Inuyasha series. I never really liked Rin since I've always thought of her as a weak girl who was clingy and obsessed with Sesshomaru. Rin is like a younger version of Kagome except she's not an archer.

Her Character

In the original, rin was an annoying and obnoxious little girl who had a dark past and a major obsession with sesshomaru but in yashahime it was much worst.

For the majority of yashahime, rin was frozen in the tree of ages. In the first season of episode 1, it was a flashback of a manga chapter in the final act. But in episode 15, she lacked character as she let sesshomaru, who just ignored her, take her newly born twins away with no explanation other than it was a rite of courage and cowardice and was completely obedient and okay with it. Suddenly in season 2, she was reverted back to her original annoying character and so on but worse.

In episode 27, I know why rin wants to protect towa and setsuna because she's there mother but she makes this over dramatic and whiny speech as she wants sesshomaru, who is her husband, to kill her to protect them.

When she confronts kirinmaru, she pathetically tries to fight him, someone with no kind of power at all and no combat training is going to take on a very powerful beast king yokai who can instantly kill her as she is all talk and no action.

When rin finally meets towa and setsuna together closely, instead of hugging them immediately she decides to wait not like moe, ms higurashi, and kagome who did despite the circumstances.

Even after zero tried multiple times to kill towa and setsuna and terrorized them, rin still wants to save zero who ended up committing suicide by riku anyway.

2. Appearance and Age

Despite what the creators of yashahime tried to explain through jaken and tree of ages that rin is 18 and later 32, she is actually 15 and later 29.

The true creator, Rumiko Takahashi, explained databooks and interviews that rin was 7-8 years old but disgsting sessrin shippers want to ignore it and agree with yashahime creators.

The timeline of rin's age in order. In inuyasha, rin was 7-8, in the 3 year time skip of the final episode of the final act she is 11, in since then is 11 and 1/2 but yashahime said that 18 years have passed so 11 plus 18 is 29.

Despite yashahime falsely claiming she is 32, majority of the time makes rin look like she was still 11 and sometimes the exact age as towa and setsuna.

3. Marriage

rin's marriage to sesshomaru is creepy and disgusting as he knew her since she was 7-8 years old. Rumiko Takahashi said in interviews and databooks that sesshomaru and rin have a father-daughter relationship. rin should've been with kohaku because they are close in age and have great interactions with each other. The sick reason for the yashahime creators pairing sesshomaru and rin together was because they wanted sesshomaru to have hanyos and rin is the only female that wasn't taken, has some kind of relationship with him, and is alive. They could've made Kaname Kururugi and Janis canon in yashahime and created a story where one of them returned to the feudal era and been with him or created a human female character for him but instead they choose someone that was like a daughter to him.

In yashahime, sesshomaru and rin's relationship is basically the same in the original except rin's is less rebellious and more obedient. rin still calls him 'lord sesshomaru' and doesn't see herself as his equal or even his wife as seen with her conversations with towa and setsuna, she refers to them as 'sesshomaru's daughters' and not both of theirs. sesshomaru doesn't see rin as his wife as he continues to give commands to her like she's a dog.

Ex. ordering her to stay in the tree of ages, him waking and orders her to follow him, orders her to stay and watch closely of him and kirinmaru fight, and in the last episode he orders her to follow him.

sesshomaru doesn't even take care of the towa and setsuna, especially when they were babies as he doesn't even change their diapers and rin just made excuses for him saying 'changing diapers doesn't suit lord sesshomaru' and dumbed her down.

4. Sudden Change

In the yashahime series, rin worried about towa and setsuna and was even willing to sacrifice her life for them in the last episode with a conversations with them she completely changed.

rin was worried about kohaku and kagura but she had said to towa and setsuna 'since they're hanyos she's sure they'll more hardships and they'll be attacked by strange demons just for being the daughters of lord sesshomaru' while being cheerful and laughing.

While kagome, who is majority of the time an awful character, wife, and mother, who worried about moroha and wanted her out of debt immediately.

My Precure season ranking is here again! Series within tiers are in the order I watched them.

Top tier

Go! Princess Precure - Great characters and a particularly lovable heroine, handles its dream theme well and the princess motifs support it and give the show a memorable and consistent visual look.

Star Twinkle Precure - Mostly great characters, the message is a bit muddy but the space theme holds up well and traveling to other planets gives a nice chance of pace.

Tropical Rouge! Precure - A lot less ambitious than the other two, but has excellent characters and was just a lot of fun for what it was. Has the single best episode in the franchise.

Ok tier

Kira Kira Precure A La Mode - I like the character designs and the main theme is consistent, plus sweets visuals always earns some points from me. Not particularly interesting characters though.

Fresh Precure! - Alright characters plus Setsuna has a great character arc and the story doesn’t do anything offensively stupid, but also doesn’t particularly stand out, introduces a major theme out of nowhere at the end and the colours are really ugly.

Futari wa Precure Max Heart - Slow as molasses and Nagisa and Honoka don’t have a lot to do, but Hikari’s story was unexpectedly good and also unique for the franchise.

Smile Precure! - Fun characters and surprisingly enjoyable "filler" episodes, but not enough substance for top tier.

Futari wa Precure Splash Star - A memorable theme and a great villain side. Main duo is ok but not particularly well developed.

Hirogaru Sky Precure! - I really want to like this because 4/5 of the cast is so good, the character designs are excellent and the ending is great but the story is just so nothing. And Ellee baby form detracts from every scene she's in.

Mid tier

Healin’ Good Precure - Nodoka’s story is one of the best in the entire franchise, however I found pretty much everything else about it boring, and find it has the dullest character dynamics and Asumi is to be the blandest Cure overall.

Futari wa Precure - Nice chemistry with the main duo and a main heroine who feels fresh at this point, but is otherwise kind of generic and especially the second half was pretty weak.

Mahou Tsukai Precure! - Ha-chan is great but otherwise felt pretty plodding, really weak villains.

Meh tier

Delicious Party Precure - Memorable theme but otherwise doesn’t have much that stands out about it. Has disjointed plot elements and I didn’t particularly care for any of the characters.

Yes! Precure 5 - No glaring issues (aside from the fact I don't like Nozomi) but also no particular highlights either, kind of meh all around. Has some nice character dynamics.

Bottom tier

Happiness Charge Precure! - Hime is lovely and the concept of the International Precure is great, but I also find half of the main Cures awful and in the end the show is a directionless mess that doesn’t do anything with any of its unique ideas.

Doki Doki! Precure - Great Cure designs and props for trying with the lore, but the show is far too busy making everything about how amazing Mana is, which consumes everything else.

Yes! Precure 5 GoGo - Unnecessary sequel with a generic story and doesn't really add anything worthwhile to the Cures' character arcs.

Kibou no Chikara: Otona Precure '23 - The stuff on the Cures' adult lives was good but a letdown on all other fronts. Nostalgia pandering without properly delivering. And no new Cure forms!
