Servamp hospital AU with no plot only vibes but I do the rest of the cast too so everyone can suffer:

Iduna – Clinical engineer. Though her responsibilities are mostly limited to testing, maintaining and occasionally doing small repairs on the medical equipment, she always looks at the machines in her care like she’s itching to do more. She’s vastly overqualified for her position, but left what would be any other engineer’s dream job at a well-known medical manufacturer to take it, for unknown reasons. 

Freya – The resident pharmacist. She wouldn’t usually have much contact with patients, but sometimes exasperated nurses will ask her to explain how some patient’s medication works to them, counting on her fierce glare to hammer the message home. She’s precise in her work but not opposed to chaos, as evident by how much time she spends watching Iduna come up with creative ways to test the surgery robots. 

Licht – Paramedic, stoic in even the most stressful situations. Though one wouldn’t think of him as good with people, the confidence he has in everything he does is a pillar of comfort to those he treats as well as his team. Some people think he developed a bit of a complex, saving people’s lives on a daily basis, but Hyde assures them he’s always been like that. He rarely starts fights (with those who aren't Hyde) but will end them.

Hyde – Paramedic. Whether he’s well-suited for his profession is up for debate, as stress makes him act out easily when in the wrong mood. He put himself on a team with Licht, and for a long time any emergency doctor made to work with them would groan at the thought of their squabbling. Recently they have gotten along better, and Hyde’s stress tolerance seems to have improved. 

Niccolo – Emergency doctor, originally an internist. Though he spends most of his time looking like he’ll fall apart at even the suggestion of stress, he changes completely once in an actual life-or-death situation and will easily take charge of his team. He’s happy in his job, and it’s a step up from working in the hospital itself, which was the actual cause of his stress. 

Ildio – ER nurse. Though he seems to be a perfect fit for his job – fiercely caring but looking rough enough to nip any problematic behaviour in the bud – it’s actually just what he first fell into when completing his training. Recently the emergency doctor he spends his breaks with has encouraged him to find something he actually enjoys doing, and he has been looking to become a NICU nurse. 

Krantz – Professional translator, working wherever a bridge between the staff and one of their patients needs to be built, and is thus always busy. No one knows how many languages he actually speaks. His most impressive achievement in bridge-building is getting paramedics Licht and Hyde to form a somewhat cohesive unit, to a point where their long-suffering ambulance driver has him on speed dial.

Johannes – Haematologist. He is obsessed with his work and spends a decidedly unhealthy amount of hours in the lab, living off strange concoctions presumably containing lots of caffeine and lots of sugar. Though he's not supposed to collect his samples himself, he does so with great joy. Few of the studies he proposes make it past the ethics committee.

Gear – Lab tech. The quiet world of the lab suits him, and he’s well adapted to the traditions and mindsets of those who live within it, though they tend to come off as bizarre to others. He spends his downtime scouring catalogues for the latest lab equipment, and sometimes brings some of it home to decorate the house with. His husband Youtarou seems strangely okay with this.

Youtarou – Social media manager. Most people think of his job as useless, but he thinks it's important for patients and even more so potential recruits to have a friendly face to associate the hospital with. His favourite part of the job is working with Iduna, who in turn loves the opportunity to make the surgery robots do something funny for a cute video.

Okay, commentary based on rough translations for servamp chapter 139 under the cut

Mahiru gets to use his uncles weapon to make the night sky as bright as midday (aka what mahiru's name means). That's so cool!!! I'm a bit suprised that he can use the weapon though because he's has no magic abilities according to tooru and I thought the weapons could only be used by magic users? Maybe being an eve helps? Or maybe it has something to do with whatever is special about mahiru. Anyway, the ritual requires a moon to work so I guess turning night into day might help to stop that.

On another note, tooru is still badly injured and starts to bleed again, please don't die on us uncle tooru.

Kuro finding the strength to stand up again as he sees mahiru's light was sweet to see. I believe the sloth demon says something about always going to remember mahiru's name when he sees dazzling light and kuro tells tsubaki that midday is no time for vampires.

I think misono is telling lily that he doesn't believe lily that it was all a farce, that he does have expectations of others and that he does want to repent for his sin, calling back to misono's talk with the lust demon at the end of the lust arc. Don't trust my translation on these things though. Anyway, misono says that you can't end a game of chess without the kings on the board by a checkmate, but you can end the game in other ways like a stalemate in which no moves are possible anymore, which is the situation misono goaded lily into, ending the game and freeing misono from the spell. Ironically the only pieces remaining on the board are pawns (aka characters/chess pieces lily seems to see little value in). Back in the garden lily turns into butterflies and vanishes while misono is confused because it should be night, but it's as bright as midday.

We also return to sakuya and mikuni. Mikuni attacks sakuya, but sakuya reveals that he used his powers and the spot he attacked was the sakuya from five seconds ago (?). Then sakuya attacks mikuni, but it's not the real mikuni either? I didn't really get it, but there seem to be multiple mikunis (I think 13 or 12 now that sakuya killed one) in different locations and tsubaki's subclass are facing them trying to stop tsubaki from destroying himself (whatever power tsubaki is using right now seems to harm him and he can only keep going because of mikuni's help. If mikuni would stop helping tsubaki might be forced to stop the ritual/would not be able to complete it. Or maybe it's about some barrier spell mikuni used? I'm not sure what exactly mikuni is doing to help tsubaki).

Higan is facing one mikuni and something prompts him to talk about the time he lived with a woman who for a short time made him feel like an artist and not like an abnormal being.

All in all it seems as if things seem to turn around this chapter! Mahiru got to use a powerful attack that seems to have filled the other heroes with hope, even though we don't know yet what exactly it managed to do (is pandora finally destroyed so the eves and servamps can finally split up into smaller battles again?), but since the moon seems to be a big part of the ritual it might help in that regard.

I still have no idea why the hell mikuni is doing any of this (his main attack, granted he developed it when he was 16, was about judging those who kill humans. So why is he okay with killing millions to gain power? Has envy's curse turned him insane too?) and I guess lily returned to his side after misono freed himself?

It's great to see that misono is now free and able to share what he learned from lily once he runs into the other characters again.

With tsubaki's subclass now also trying to stop mikuni and lily's plans (and tsubaki from destroying himself) the protagonists should be able to convince them to fight together with them right? Now that they have the same goal.

Really liked this chapter, servamp has their protagonists on the losing end a lot more often and longer than I'm used from other stories so it's nice to see the protagonists get some wins.

Looking back this whole time... it was a race between Tsurugi and Mikuni, but Tsurugi lost.

Which of them could 'become a god' first?

The composition of Mikuni's noose compared to the smoke from before...

It almost feels like these references imply Mikuni wanted to make Tsurugi the Ninth Servamp because that was as close as he could get to 'fixing' Tsurugi. While yes, Tsurugi's body has the highest affinity for it. But with all the Jin around and all the magic users enhancing their own skill, it really didn't have to be Tsurugi. The Count just needed a vessel.

I know Johannes only has had like 3 panels of screen time in recent years but the amount of headcanons I have for him is actually really 😨☝️ it's something.....

He's a crazy workaholic and will probably rather drop dead than stop his oh so important research about servamps

freaky ahh guy that creeps the living daylights out of any normal person (socially inept but it's bc he doesn't gaf ab social conformity)

Freaked out his parents a lot when he was younger because he was a very intelligent but typically aloof child

May or may not have experimented on his own family (with or without their knowledge)

He's most comfortable with otogiri, and he'd constantly rant to her about his new current scientific interests when he was a child (🤓☝️)

He's a good younger brother

Both of them are apathetic and indifferent in their own way. Otogiri, more so physically and on the surface, while Johannes is more psychological because he's just not wired that way. For oto, it's more like her default expression/state of mind

Johan topped his schools a lot and pursued higher education via scholarships (I'm pretty sure this is confirmed canon by now unless I rmb wrongly)

When oto got her job as a nurse, he was elated and tried to accompany her to see how she'd treat her patients to see a live demo of treatment on patients/the side effects of deadly illnesses on patients

Had always had an interest in the more morbid and niche, and was a social outcast, though he didn't really care

He's smart, and understands complicated concepts easily, but sucks at teaching (he'd explain complicated concepts with other complicated concepts not realising youre not on the same lvl)

Was absent from classes a lot (and hung around the science labs or his own DIY lab in his room to conduct his own experiments)

His favourite food is plain bread because it's what they could've afforded, so it brings him back to the times with his sister.

It may not look like it, but he misses her terribly and always feels a sense of guilt about her 'sacrifice' (:()

Omg i’m glad you love werecat! User and Stiles. I really need to stop thinking about this man. The more I think about it, the more Kuro from Servamp comes (its a pretty cool 12 ep anime). They’re just a cat who wants to laze around, eat, and be happy. Kinda hard to do when your human is deep into the supernatural world. Tries to convince him to stay home, eat takeout, and watch “Sun Wars” and Stiles gives them the most offended look after they pronounce it wrong.

“Anyone have any better ideas?”

“I say we all go home and forget about it-”

“No.”

“Well okay I tried.”

User who can’t stand when Stiles has them out in the woods looking for evidence and possibly human remains. 

“Isn’t this horror movie rule number one? Don’t go into the woods? At night? And no one knows where you are?”

Stiles who panics at the thought of User choking up a hairball in the jeep and nearly swerving off the road.

Stiles who’s curious about how their luck cycle works and wonders if he could score a date with Lydia but apparently “No amount of luck can help him with that.” Stiles also finding out that overusing good luck will give someone else bad luck to even out and can possibly hurt the people around him.

Stiles who bribes User with food to be their spy and collect information in their cat form whenever they’re in a dangerous situation. Sneaking into places is way much easier when User can slip through gaps and open doors from the other side.

Stiles who groans when User gets chased up a tree and is scared to come down. Scott who doesn’t want to help in fear of being clawed in the face, leaving Stiles, with a track record of being a clumsy mess of uncoordinated limbs to get them. Stiles who also gets stuck while User finally faces their fear to come down.

Stiles who picks up Scott who got caught in the rain and User does their best to be civil. 

20 seconds later. 

“Smells like wet dog in here.”

“Don’t start.”

User who just gets dragged into helping them with everything but will always do it to look after Stiles.

of course!! i think your idea was really interesting. the idea of user just casually mispronouncing “star wars” as sun wars and stiles reacting like it’s the most blasphemous thing he’s ever heard? i can already picture him clutching his chest like, “how dare you in my own home?” and the whole “let’s just go home and forget about it” attitude? they’re so done with stiles dragging them into danger every other day, but they can’t help sticking around ‘cause someone’s gotta keep him alive.

the good luck cycle and its consequences? i love that there's actual stakes to using their powers—it adds depth to their dynamic. poor stiles trying to use users abilities to impress lydia, only to get called out with, “even magic can’t fix that.” it’s so real.

user sticking around, always watching stiles’ back despite the constant chaos, is honestly so sweet. they pretend they’re just in it for the snacks and naps, but deep down, you know they’d do anything to protect him. i’m living for your brain dumping these ideas, anon.

I have never done this before, swore to myself I never would, but I feel obligated after my initial encounter with tumblr user @nurul-cerise led to a friendship based on lies and culminated in the most painful discovery I could have made, and I want to spare others the kind of hurt that comes with learning someone you thought was your friend is actually a violent queerphobe who wants you and all your friends dead, and only played pretend because she liked the things you wrote and drew, and then has the fucking NERVE to claim that your and others anger is only because you're """islamophobic"""

I apologize for the length, but I will not be putting this under readmore because I believe it is that important.

Cerise is a part of a lot of fandoms with strong LGBTQ presence, and it doesn't sit right with me to ignore that, especially given how american cartoon fandoms like ROTMNT and Ben 10 have a much more saturated number of young and vulnerable viewers.

On this account she has made reels featuring videos from Jordan Peterson, a well known anti trans activist who has called being trans a "contagion" and made multiple appearances on the podcast of Joe Rogan, another well known extreme conservative who holds about every bigoted feeling towards a minority you could think of. The third video from him she shared is especially telling because she isn't even american. The only reason she has to share it is to be hateful and cruel.

She also shared this video of Ben Shapiro mocking trans identities in the classic style of “if you identify as x i can identify as y”. In this case, it’s claiming he should be allowed to identify as 60 years old.

This is proof of her supporting and being friends with other homophobes, with the first screenshot including OP being blatantly proud of their hatred. Be warned, the third screenshot is very upsetting.

This last set of screenshots is mostly from her tumblr. She claims to be a "peaceful" non-supporter. We all know that isn't possible, as no such thing exists. You are either helping to protect us or you are helping to murder us.

And even IF that were a possible stance to take, the above reels on instagram, along with this video she shared of a woman burning a rainbow flag, prove that she is lying through her damn, hateful, hypocritical teeth.

When I personally confronted her after a friend found some concerning things on her instagram and shared them with me, initially I only spoke to a few others in a discord server for a very tiny fandom, Servamp, about it, and warned them to stay away for their own safety. I regret not bringing that to tumblr immediately now, because not only did it not prevent people harassing her like I had hoped to (I'm soft, sue me), she has since that incident gotten even more bold in her disgusting behavior. Completely mask off in how much she hates those of us who literally make every single bit of content for these fandoms she claims to "love" so much.

Block her, don't talk to her, get rid of her. Don't tolerate this kind of person in our safe spaces. I don't want all of you to be hurt the way I and others were.

So, though you’re Lenalee Lee in The Ever Young, when it comes down to the image of you I have in my mind, the closest face claim I could come up with was Nana Komatsu. I don’t know much about the character themselves, I’ve mostly just seen the amazing artwork of the manga, but she has the colouring and the sort of elegant but sweet ‘good girl’ look to her I imagine you having.

WHITE: what flame type and box weapon do I think you’d have in the khr!verse?

Hmm, this was a fun one to think about for you, especially since KHR isn’t a universe I’ve pictured you in a lot, as it’s not one of the fandoms we share in common! I do think you’d be a Cloud Flame user though, with your box weapon animal being a pair of swans, one white and one black! I’m using both just imagery and the spiritual meaning behind swans and I think it’s a pretty cool box weapon for a cool person 😊

what if i assigned log horizon stuff to every single muse on my list

well i'm gonna (eventually) (this is part 1)

yuri briar: human paladin-avenger. i think he'd have picked his class-sublass combo as one that would be able to help yor out the most, so naturally for his avenger subclass, yor is the person he avenges. "paladin" is the western european's version of the default class "pirate" or the japanese variant "samurai".

louis james moriarty: fox tail assassin-butler. the person he's dedicated himself to serving is naturally william, though i like to think he can have some personal growth and change his subclass to avenger much like yuri.

abe no hirari: wolf fang swashbuckler-curseblade. when flavor text started applying to real life, hirari lost his arm, so he took the curseblade subclass to prevent that kind of thing from happening again.

kumo baren: human kannagi-body double. i don't really think there's any arguing with this one it's actually fairly straightforward.

momochi ako: wolf fang assassin-mercenary. i think most of the momochi clan would probably be similarly inclined to pick assassin as a class, though.

roland fortis: human paladin-holy warrior. i don't think roland chose that for a practical reason, though, and holy warrior probably just sounded in line with the character he created for himself.

antoine de sade: elf enchanter-vampanella. he'd probably suit a subclass like courtesan better, but i wouldn't put it past antoine to earn that kind of position without it, and it's important to me that he remains a vampire.

alador blight: elf summoner-mechanic. naturally, he'd combine his powers as a summoner with his mechanic subclass at some point.

eda clawthorne: elf sorcerer-alchemist. i think there's also an option for flavor text to affect her in a similar way to her curse from the get-go, so that's cool as well.

seung-gil lee: wolf fang assassin-dancer. i don't have much to comment on with him.
