⁷⁷⁶Weekend Sleepover

So, since I'll be on tumblr all weekend, finishing up the last of the requests (and just a reminder that the box will stay closed after that while I finish writing and scheduling the next few chapters of the Shouhei story - up until at least chapter five), and since I'm really busy lately and haven't had the spare time to be around much or answer my dm's (which can take me an hour or two), I'm going to make an effort and open a sleepover for the weekend! I'll be answering around writing the remaining twenty asks (six headcanons, thirteen ficlets, and one general chatter) but am looking forward to talking to everyone!

Hiatus announcement

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately, due to deadlines fast approaching us, we will be going on hiatus for a week or two. (Likely be back around the 11th of December.)

As we’re unable to post a Servamp cover this week and the following, we’ll be doing a double release when we’re back :)

Servamp will end in December

It was announced on the Servamp official Twitter account that the manga will end in December and there will be an additional volume, so it's gonna be a total of 24 volumes.

Additionally, a third artbook will be published and a Complete Guidebook. This is the schedule of when the volumes and the books will be published.

it just clicked for me now that the reason a servamp's eve is called "eve" is probably bc the first servamp is kuro, whose name used to be adam. ITS FUCKING ADAM AND EVE HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THAT

Because it’s so so so obvious you just kind of gloss over it xD same happened to me!

What REALLY made me scream though was realizing that the reason the hedgehog coffee stand in TanakaBox has Frankenstein on its shelf isn’t just because of the whole “building a new being out of corpses” thing. It was also because the monster names himself Adam! So of course the first Servamp, the first new attempt at a “perfect being” would also have carried that name

I’ve been rereading volume 18 recently because it has been A While since I went through some of the chapters (and I wanted to see what was added in the tankobon that wasn’t in the original magazine publication)

This sequence was brought to my attention by a friend asking me if the bell could have any meaning and it does! Bells were and are traditionally tolled in order to announce both a death in the village, and to celebrate the birth of a new member of the community. For it to ring here rather than at the end of sloth telling his story is meant to signify that this moment, that Adam’s end, is also the birth of the person who would become “Kuro”

The transition is also quite good for raising the tension and creating a more dramatic atmosphere, don’t you think? Especially since after this, Sloth uses Adam’s coffin as a perch to read out his story

UHM CAN EVERYONE LOOK AT IT?

decided to do something like this, which I think needs to be done, there are still a lot of fans who follow servamp pages, some of them only read the manga, while some only watched the anime.....I believe that servamp fans can rise again, I just think we need to stand out a little more, I mean even the official servamp account on the x app has 67 thousand followers This is almost the same on.TikTok and Instagram, wouldn't it be enough to encourage these people a little because I recently saw that anime older than Servamp are getting new seasons (this drives me crazy).I announced a call for help on TikTok, I did the same on Instagram and X, and there are already small fans ready to help, I think there is still hope😭😭😭

(Tsurugi/Mahiru) Mahiru bakes Tsurugi treats, and Tsurugi decides to repay him with more than a kiss

Tsurugi is positively vibrating with excitement as he wipes down the kitchen counter. That, Mahiru thinks, is quite admirable. 

He has established a rule about this – food is always free in his house, but before it’s time to sit down and eat, the kitchen must be tidied up. Tsurugi has gotten so good at following it he grabbed the cleaning rags before Mahiru even said anything; and now he cleans away crumbs and specks of flour with remarkable enthusiasm while Mahiru loads the dishwasher, because he has a system about it and gets antsy whenever someone puts a bowl where a plate should go. 

Kuro teases him for it, sometimes, but Kuro is out visiting one of his brothers, and they have the apartment for themselves. Which includes the massive plate of cookies waiting for them on the kitchen table, fresh out of the oven, cooling under Tsurugi’s watchful eye. 

“Done!” He announces, just as Mahiru slots the last mixing bowl in place. He spares the counter nothing but a quick glance of inspection because he cannot possibly deny poor Tsurugi any longer, given that he’s three seconds from bouncing off the walls onto the cookie plate. 

“Good job,” He tells him and Tsurugi grins, eyes flashing towards their snack again. “Do you want a glass of milk with those?” 

He does, so Mahiru pours two and carries them over to the living room while Tsurugi grabs the cookie plate. 

“Alright,” He says once they both sit comfortably on the couch, cookies and milk in front of them. “Let’s eat.” 

A few years ago Tsurugi might have grabbed three or four at once, chowing them down with unconcealed vigor. That, too, has changed; he only takes one now, and though he still stuffs it in his mouth whole, he chews properly and leaves enough room in between this cookie and the next to say thank you, and that they are very delicious. 

“Remember to drink your milk,” Mahiru advises him, not even bothering to try and hide his proud smile, “or you’ll get a dry mouth and whine about it.” 

They end up resting on that couch in lazy silence; nicely full but not uncomfortably so. Mahiru has leaned back into its cushions, contemplating how healthy it is to have a lunch of cookies and nothing else and whether he should slice up some vegetables for dessert, and Tsurugi has sprawled over the length of it, presumably with the sole goal of resting his head on Mahiru’s thighs. 

The change in the air is imperceptible at first, minuscule, shifting along with Tsurugi’s mood. Mahiru only notices when he turns his head ever so slightly from where it rests on his lap, to blow a breath of air against the fabric of his pants, just below where his belt buckle sits, making him shiver. 

“Tsurugi?” 

“Thank you for the meal,” Tsurugi says. 

Mahiru allows himself a moment to ponder what he has come to understand as an invitation. It is important to do so, because Tsurugi’s ideas of what to offer gratitude for – and, perhaps even more so, what said gratitude looks like – tends to be questionable. 

But he looks at Tsurugi and finds an eager, manic glint in his eyes, softer than it used to be but excited nonetheless, finds him looking back with a distinct sense of hunger that can’t be quenched with cookies. Finds himself responding in kind. Getting excited. Feeling warm, and hungry. 

“Fine then,” He says, letting his hand card through Tsurugi’s hair before cupping the side of his face. He needs a second to find the voice he knows the other likes him best with, and Tsurugi uses it to slip from the couch onto the floor, kneeling in between his legs, making his intentions clear. 

“Good boy,” Mahiru croons, and watches Tsurugi’s eyes light up. “Your manners have gotten so good, haven’t they?” 

Tsurugi agrees with a wordless nod. He’s scooted closer, chest pressed against the edge of the couch, fingers buried in the fabric of Mahiru’s pants. If it were discipline they’d play with today Mahiru would reprimand him; but this is a thank you, a reward for both of them, and he will happily be a little softer about it all. 

“Get on with it, then,” He says, scooting a little closer himself, to save Tsurugi the discomfort of craning his neck. Their fingers tangle as they both reach to unbuckle his belt, warm and shivering with anticipation, holding onto each other for a moment before yanking the fabric below away. 

It’s a familiar song and dance, one they’ve swayed along to many times before, that they’re comfortable with, that they enjoy. Tsurugi has no reservations taking Mahiru in his mouth; he knows where to lick, when to suck, to get Mahiru to moan and keen, his head falling back into the couch cushions. He knows where to put his fingers, one hand teasing the flushed skin he hasn’t taken into his mouth yet, one still pulling at his pants, riling him up further; knows how to convey his gratitude, that getting Mahiru off means showing his own enjoyment, closing his eyes and moaning along, tightening his throat around the cock in his mouth. 

And Mahiru, in turn, knows how to offer in pleasure in turn, that Tsurugi loves his fingers tangled in his hair, having his scalp massaged slowly, lovingly, while working his tongue around Mahiru’s dick. Loves having Mahiru’s foot ever-so-gently pushed between his legs, to have something to rut on, chasing his own relief. At some point in the day, when darkness has fallen, all presents have been gifted and all songs have been sung, and a blissful silence settles over the house that was so loud with Christmas cheer just a few hours earlier. Night has settled outside, and the world is buried beneath a thick blanket of snow, ruffled by dozens of little feet but twinkling and blinking underneath the light of the moon.

Inside, the lights have been shut off, but Shuuhei sits in comfortable twilight, illuminated by the warm glow of lazily flickering flames in the fireplace and the Christmas lights that have been painstakingly hung into the window frames and wrapped around a richly decorated Christmas tree in the corner of the room. He’s cradling a cup of hot chocolate, the last he poured from the thermos in the kitchen but still so steamingly hot he has to blow on it before every sip.

Someone trudges towards him. He recognizes the familiar pattern of steps, rustling among bits of leftover wrapping paper to be dealt with tomorrow, and fully expects the warm body leaning into him from behind, as well as the feeling of something soft tickling his neck.

Ildio was asked to play Santa for the children this year, and he agreed with enthusiasm that rivaled his response when offered a plate stacked high with delicious food. Shuuhei thought he was used to this kind of energy, having spent much of his life with the bubbly ball of cheer that is Iduna, but he has come to think that Ildio is a different beast entirely. He is unrestrained and wild in his excitement, and sometimes, it is honestly adorable to see.

Said excitement, however, is probably also the reason he has yet to get out of his Santa costume. It’s a nice costume, made of red velvet that feels soft to the touch, and of course the children were happy beyond belief to have “Santa” spend so much time with them; but it includes a luscious fake beard that Shuuhei is not exactly fond of, given how it obstructs his partner’s pretty face.

“I’m not kissing you as long as you have that thing on,” He says, tugging on it.

Ildio makes a noise of dramatic indignation but almost tears it off his face, and Shuuhei has little time to be amused before strong arms clad in red velvet have wrapped around him and Ildio’s lips are fitted to his own in a kiss that ends up taking much longer than anticipated.

Not that he's complaining. It would have been difficult to explain to the kids why Santa likes smooching Ildio’s boyfriend so much, so they had to spend the night apart and that needs to be remedied now.

“I brought cookies,” Ildio announces, and indeed produces a plate stacked high with gingerbread and sugar cookies as he sits down next to his partner, pulling him close until they sit nestled tightly into each other’s side.

“Didn’t you get your fill already?” Shuuhei asks, “I remember the kids were quite eager to bring you food.”

Ildio just shrugs, which is fair. Though Shuuhei knows it has not always been like this, ever since he got close to Ildio he has appreciated good food like no other; and when he gingerly picks a cookie off the plate – tree-shaped, with green icing and little pearls of sugar for decoration – he’s careful to marvel at the work someone put into it, and to chew slowly and appreciate its taste.

“These are so good,” He announces, making sure to keep his voice down despite how obviously he would like to shout it out for all the world to hear.

“Let me try,” Shuuhei demands. Usually, Ildio is more than happy to share food he has deemed good with him. It comes as a surprise when this time, he hesitates.

“Ildio?”

“Listen,” Ildio mumbles, and Shuuhei turns around to give him all his attention. Ildio is boisterous and confident in the best of ways, usually. It feels weird to see him fidget with his hands all of a sudden, as though he is nervous.

“I may… still have a Christmas present for you,” He finally says after a few seconds of silence have passed between them. “You have to promise not to laugh.”

“I’m not the type to laugh at others,” Shuuhei says. It’s true, and he has always found truths to be the most comforting. Ildio offers a shaky smile.

“You’re not the type to laugh much at all.”

Before Shuuhei can respond, he has stood up and fled the room, throwing an “be right back!” over his shoulder and, strangely, taking the plate of cookies with him.

Luckily, Shuuhei does not have to wait for long. It’s been a few minutes, maybe, when those familiar steps come stomping back in his direction, and soon after Ildio appears in the doorframe, a well-known silhouette in the soft twilight of this Christmas night, hiding something behind his back like a little child would. Shuuhei feels the corners of his mouth twitch, but he promised to be serious and tries his hardest to adhere to that.

“What do you have there?” He asks when Ildio comes closer. Ildio freezes, and for a split second a whole myriad of emotions flits over his stoic face, before thrusting out what he clutches between his hands with a hurried “here”.

It’s a cookie tin. There’s an old-fashioned but beautiful painting of robins playing in the snow on top that Ildio must have found cute (another endearing trait of his). He has not seen it before, Shuuhei thinks when carefully taking it from the other's hands, it must have been bought for this occasion specifically.

And inside… There’s cookies.

Sugar cookies, to be precise. A little wonky, burnt in some places, the icing spread haphazardly and little sugar decorations used in excess, as though someone was a little too enthusiastic with them.

“They’re not as pretty as the other ones,” Ildio is quick to tell him, a rare hint of unease in his voice. “But… I’ve been learning how to cook recently and I thought… I wanted to make something for you.”

Suddenly, Shuuhei feels choked up in a way that he rarely has before – he knows pain and sadness and the way it clogs his throat, but this time he is happy, strangely and overwhelmingly happy, and as it has been so often before, words fail him.

He takes one of the cookies, heart shaped and just a little bit burned, and eats it, and it is the best thing he has ever tried.

“What do you think?” Ildio asks but truth to be told Shuuhei does not quite know, and all he can do is set the tin down with shaking hands to wrap himself around his wonderful partner, and stretch to kiss him.

In that moment, not even the ridiculous Santa beard could have stopped him.

Event Outline

So, the event is going live in just a couple of minutes! I want you lovelies to know what the event is going to consist of, though the actual details of each day will be in the morning's post each day! Day Two (04/27) – Character Specific Headcanons

The second day of the event will focus on character specific headcanon requests. There will be many prompts available! Othere examples of asks that can be sent in are:

What do you think (character) is like drunk/high/over-tired, etc.?

What do you think (character)’s childhood was like?

Send me a character name(s) and the word ‘tumblr’ for me to tell you all about the tumblr blog they’d have – what they’d post, if they have side-blogs, what kind of blogs they follow, their theme, etc.

Send me a character name(s) and the word ‘phone’ and I’ll tell you what kind of phone they use, what their ring-tone is, what apps they frequently use, if they have it on silent often, etc.

Day Three (04/28) – On this Y/N shit with Character Headcanons!

So, while the last event day focused on specific headcanons for characters, this is where all the focus on character’s in a relationship or character interaction with the Reader will be! Again, there will lots of prompts provided, and as always, there’s no character limits or limits to how many asks you can send in! While there will definitely be prompts available, some examples of requests that can be sent in include:

What’s it like dating (Character)?

What would (character) do for their s/o’s birthday?

How would (character) deal with a s/o who is mentally ill?

Day Four (04/29) – Polyships

The fourth day of the event will be all about polyships! That is, relationships between the lovely reader and more than one canon character! Just a reminder this can be the reader having a harem of various canon characters, from the same or varying fandoms, or just a polyamorous relationship between the reader and two different canon characters! Requests can be for headcanons, ficlets, relationship aesthetics or music mixes, etc.!

Some examples of asks could include:

Could I have some headcanons for a Gojyo/Reader/Hakkai relationship?

Who would say I love you first in a polyship with Shohei/Reader/Bandou?

Who would get angrier about someone criticizing the poly relationship of theirs in such and such a harem/polyship?

Day Five (04/30) – Reader Appreciation!

Day five of this event is going to be me just having the chance to show all my love and appreciation by focusing on my fabulous readers! I’ll be accepting all types of match-up’s, personalized asks for you or your original characters, and will include one or two prompts!

Day Six (05/01) – Ficlets!

This day of the event will focus on requests for scenarios, though I warn they will more than likely be short drabbles or ficlets of 100-1000 words instead of long-fic, depending on my inspiration for the request!

While prompts will be given, some examples of requests that will be accepted include:

Could you write a drabble for (character) and the reader being snowed in?

Could I have a drabble for (character) finding out the reader is pregnant?

Could you write a drabble of (character) when they get caught skipping class?

Day Seven (05/02) – AU’s

Day seven of the event is all about AU’s! I happen to love me a great AU of any variety! These can be requests for any type of ask, for any number of characters!

While prompts will be given, some examples of requests that could be given are:

Could I have headcanons for (character) as a vampire?

Could I have a drabble for (character) and reader as enemy spies?

What do you think it would be like if the Arcobaleno were all pirates?

Day Eight (05/03) – Music!

Day Eight of the event is all about music! I’ll accept any headcanons with musical theme, requests for music mixes for fandoms or characters, and will give some prompts, of course! Some examples of asks would be:

Could I have a music mix for Superhero!(character)?

What songs do you think (character) listens to the most?

What do you think (character)’s favourite musical is and what is (other character or character group’s) reaction to having to watch it?

Day Nine (05/04) – Aesthetics

So this day of the event will focus around character aesthetics and just honing in on things along that line, with some prompts for fill-in type aesthetics that I’ll answer in character! Some examples of asks that could be requested are:

Day Ten (05/05) – Smut! For Headcanons!

I live and breathe smut. I love writing it so much that I think it deserves not just one day for the event, but two! This first day will be for smutty headcanons and reactions! There will be many prompts to choose from for you lovelies, but you can also request smutty match-ups, or ask things such as:

Can I get headcanons for (character) and Reader having sex in the car?

What do you think (character)’s dick looks like? Are they circumcised? Are they ashamed or worried about their size?

Day Eleven (05/06) – Smut! For ficlets!

The second day of smut because holy fuck, is it fun, focuses on smutty scenarios, of drabble length! So don’t expect more than 100-1000 words, depending on my inspiration! But feel free to request from the myriad of prompts that will be given or to request things along the line of:

So, today’s event day is really focusing on a specific type of headcanon – reactions! Have you ever wondered how a character would react to something? Well, you’re in luck because that’s completely what today is about! I’ll provide a variety of prompts but examples of asks that might come in could include:

What would Xanxus do if he was stuck in a traffic jam?

How does (character) react when nothing seems to be going right?

The end of the world is announced! What does (character) do?

Day Thirteen (05/08) - Holidays

I love the holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween! And because holidays really make me feel all warm and fuzzy, is it any surprise that I love writing about them in fandom terms? I’ll accept any request types with a holiday focus to the ask, and while prompts will of course be given, some examples of asks are:

When did (character) stop trick-or-treating?

Drabble for (character) and Reader getting caught under the mistletoe?

(Character) has just killed the Easter bunny and now must assume the role!! How do they react?

Day Fourteen (05/09) – Spoil The Admin and Last Call!

This last day of the prompt serves as a last call for all you lovelies to get asks in for any day of the event that you might have missed or simply wanted more of! It’s also a chance for me to unwind, talk to you guys, answer prompts and requests directed towards me as a person or things that I really liked and wanted to maybe do on here! Prompts will be provided but some examples of things accepted on this day include:

Send me a character from any fandom, regardless if I know it, and I’ll read their Wiki page and give you 3-5 headcanons based only on what I’ve learned about them from that!

Do you have any Servamp blogs you recommend? Ive been super into Servamp since it started but not like active in the fandom at all

Honestly I haven't been as involved in the fandom recently 🥲 and the fandom isn't as active as it used to be and it was already so small 😭 but there's still some who post often in the main tag, and you'll easily find them there! If you're looking for blogs that are mainly servamp that is.

But I do have a few personal faves, but i don't think all of them are strictly servamp blogs. But I like @/lia-snow, @/sweetjijisama, @/ino-fujiwara, @/danozi1, @/l-darklilac-l and so on... those are ones I've been following for a long time and can think of off the top of my head.

@/cnr-golden and @/callmejunny has cute stuff that I've found recently too! Also @/strawbegi, @/jayactionart, and @/random-husky I'm also totally not looking through my more recent servamp reblogs for names right now too because I can't remember names lol

@/kanamusings and @/hello-vampire-kitty offer translations for the servamp manga and other servamps media such as drama cds, interviews, bonus comics and land of nod events! Mostly anything that's official servamp stuff. @/servamp-announcements also translates stuff, but mostly official tweets from the creator Tanaka Strike and the other official servamp accounts.

It was a lot to translate, given how this chapter had 3 backstories…

Fun fact about the title of this chapter. When it was announced on the official Twitter account, it said to look forward to the title in the magazine. It's written on the 31st page but there was no way to keep it a secret because I need to write a title on Mangadex.

Translation notes:

-Regarding Otogiri, it's cute how apparently she called her brother "Hansel" and Johann probably called her "Gretel."

-I want to point out that in Belkia's part, I've found it weird that the co-worker who was talking to him said that the bastard who killed Belkia, got "engaged" with the director's daughter. Later when then the bastard accuses Belkia of killing the woman, he says that he married her…So, it's either that time passed when they brought in the injured woman or that co-worker talking to Belkia was supposd to say "married"　結婚 not "engaged"婚約.

I wanted you to know that it wasn't a mistranslation.

Pg 31-This is why I even added a page on Mangadex to readers where I mention that they should at least read the note I made at the end of the chapter.

So, there are two readings for Tsubaki's line. 暴力　「ぼく」　だけがきみを裏切らない

The furigana reading says "boku" (I) and the other one says "violence", so based on that, the sentence can be translaed as "Violence is the only thing that won't betray you"
