Okay so I was watching @anniflamma's God Games animatic (the Hera one) for probably the 100th time, and I paused at one point for whatever reason, and I noticed a little detail.

This is when Athena says "Never once has he cheated on his wife", and I see the cocky expression on her face, like she knows that she won with that... BUT if you look at her hand, you can see she's like... Squeezing her upper arm a little?

Now I know basically nothing about art or how you portray stuff so excuse me if I'm wrong somewhere, but I think this might be like... Athena being a little nervous or something? Maybe? I'm not sure, but I really wanted to share this little... discovery.

Man, it's cool and all if you see a metaphor for marginalisation in the monstrous, and if you want the power fantasy of 'what if you could just eat anybody who threatened you/pissed you off'. Me too.

However, as soon as you start saying 'no, these monsters are a 1:1 on Specific Marginalised Group, and you have to treat them in the fiction like they are directly representative of real human members of the marginalised group', BUT you also, in the fiction, make them hurt/kill/eat humans? And then try to shame me, your audience, for noticing or engaging with the bit where they kill people, because you made them directly representative of a real-world marginalised group? You have lost me, and also, I think, the plot.

I'm not the one who asked this but I'll give my two cents anyways ^^ what I've been doing of late has been liking and then scheduling reblogs so I spread out my activity especially because sometimes there's gonna be days that I just don't wanna be social but still wanna be active on here AND boost people's great stuff. I've not heard any complaints yet but I think for this anon I get why they might be wary because on tiktok if you like a bunch of stuff it 1) can shadow ban the person 2) sends spammy notifications 3) shadow ban YOUR account

On here I don't think anyone cares, you're showing love! And if there are those who care about spam (?) then I have legitimately not seen any posts about it. Tumblr is a whole different beast, it's its own thing. ^^ It's much different than other platforms (and thank GOD for that)

Hi, nonnie! I'm curious because you mentioned liking and queueing, do you like multiple fics in a row from the SAME blog quickly? For example, let's say like 10 back-to-back with the intention of reblogging. The screenshot below is a blog that liked multiple posts of mine in a row (this is just a small amount, there were more).

At a glance, it looks like a serial or spam liker. They may use it to bookmark. Some blogs may block for that.

Every blog is different, but I know some blogs do like and queue. I've put reblog comments in my queue in the past and sometimes they don't end up posting, so I've shied away from that. Some people put the reblog in their drafts and then post once they've read and/or commented and are ready to post. I think the draft method works!

The fact that you reblog is very meaningful to many writers and appreciated. I hope this helps. Love and thanks! ❤️

this is one of my favourite beastars scenes ever and i can't wait to see it animated in season 3... it's so cool to see how violent, almost sadistic legosi can be when it comes to protecting herbivores.

i think a lot of people characterize legosi as this shy sweet soft boy who never wants trouble, and while it's not completely inaccurate, i think it's missing on an important aspect of his character. how passionate he can get about herbivores, because he loves them, because he's attracted to them, because he longs for them but also wants to live alongside them.

as well as this scene in the hospital where seeing louis again makes legosi realise how he's not a picture-perfect hero who cares about "justice" and only fights because he has a fetish for herbivores. it just reiterates what kind of character and protagonist he is. and like louis says—it doesn't detract from his heroism or make him a worse person. it's still alright to call it justice, because your fetishes are still a part of who you are.

i love it so much. legosi is such a sweet and kind-hearted person but he can also be like this because of his own "pervertedness". and i can't wait to see how the show will animate it (and hope to god they don't ruin it >_<)

Yeaah, they were human, and might've been the first vigilantes before the JL formed. Might've gotten caught by some mad scientist cultists. Might've gotten gene spliced a bit, but shhh. Don't worry about it :) They're fine. Absolutely Fine. This is Fine.

But anyway, they have wings now. And talons. And a lot of other things they have to adjust to and might straight up not have a civilian identity for a while- becomes more than a bit of social recluses while they figure this shit out.

So anyway, I haven't finished drawing or designing them, if I ever will, so have what each is based off of. There's a lot of robins. :) Also have how old everyone is at the start of the story. (Timelines are a fake thing that never make sense)
