haechan would say that his standard of living had increased exponentially since your second anniversary. 

the two of you had become more open with each other, communicating your frustrations and needs more easily. there was also a faint buzz of something in the air, moments when you would look over at him and he would feel a blush spread across his cheeks, burn low in his stomach. it felt a little like he was falling in love with you for the first time — it had been a while since he had felt so vulnerable and loved by you. 

"what are you thinking about?"

but perhaps the most significant improvement made to his life was the way he could now reflect on your loving and healthy relationship with his face nuzzled against your boobs.  

"love you so much," he mumbles against your skin, placing a small kiss on your cleavage. "that's what i'm thinking about." 

he feels your hand come down to stroke his hair gently, and he closes his eyes at the feeling. sunday mornings with you in bed — you scrolling through your phone while he's given the freedom to love on his favorite parts of you, have become just another routine that started ever since your second anniversary. 

focusing on freckling kisses on your warm skin, he's therefore completely unprepared for when you card your fingers through a handful of his hair only to give it a light, but still significant, tug. 

the sensation sends a feeling shooting down his spine, a slight shudder to his body as he lets out a small gasp muffled against your chest. feeling something stirring in the pit of his stomach, his legs begin to twitch against the bed, and he nuzzles his face into your chest. 

"again, please," he mumbles. 

he feels the giggles you let out right from where his face is pressed up against your chest. kicking his feet, he whines lightly in protest.  

"what's so funny?" 

"found something else you like," he hears you muse. "you're so sensitive, baby."

frowning, he scrambles to push himself up into a sitting position. the visual is slightly amusing — his hair mussed up, his lips swollen, eyes narrowed. 

"it's not fair," he states. you reach out a consoling hand to him, and even as he continues to grumble, he still intertwines your fingers gently, a contrast between his unhappy tone and his tender actions. "you have too much power over me." 

"what are you talking about?" you laugh, and he scowls. 

"you know." he mumbles. "you can just flash your tits at me and i'd do anything you ask-" 

"i can?" 

"-and now you know i like it when you pull at my hair," he whines, a permanent pout forming on his features. "it's like there's nothing i can do that makes you go crazy." 

"that's because i love all of you," you soothe. "all of you makes me feel crazy." 

"do you have any kinks you're keeping from me?" 

"you're my kink," you tease, but your smile drops when he scowls. "sorry." 

there's a pause. haechan looks at you, hard. scanning your face, his gaze doing a slow drag down and up your body, his expression darkening. something had shifted in the air, and suddenly you're a little scared to breathe too hard. 

"haechan?" 

"i'm going to find it," he breathes. 

"what?" 

"i'm going to find it, and then i'm going to make you beg for me to fuck your brains out." 

"what the fuck?" 

but haechan shakes his head, and when he next refocuses his eyes on you, his eyes have the familiar twinkle in them. moving over to you, he cups your face in his hands and plants a kiss on your cheek. 

"love all of you too babe," he beams. "i'm going to go make breakfast, okay?" 

and with that, he all but skips out of the room, leaving you sitting on the bed, feeling unsettled and also just a little bit excited. 

maybe it was time to call mark again.

Hii, I saw your fic and I thought that the name is kinda familiar and I was righttt! I read through your blog and I agree with u esp with the ah l*stappen. For me, I don’t really get the lore of the relationship. And tendency is that they usually drag other drivers to further their uhm visions ✨ but not really in a good way.

I am Carlos girlie so it really makes me sad that usually in the blogs that I encountered, altho not only that ship, Carlos is like always the bad guy or they put him in a bad light? Anon, you can ask me any long question and I'll read all of it. Also I love Carlos so I'm so glad I get to talk about him. This is also kinda long but I wanted to give my full opinion. ALSO YES ABOUT THE FIC!! I LOVE FLORENCE AND HOPED I WOULD FIND SOMEONE THAT KNOWS THEM

So here are my opinions on the things you've asked me:

1. Charlos: I seriously love them. But recently they remind me of a divorced couple. (I'm a child of divorce. I'm talking about Charlos btw. Not actually a child of divorce) And it HURTS!!! if you told me a year or two ago that I'd be going through this, I'd laugh in your face. But I love Charlos and the angst, the humor, and the clinginess. They're honestly so cute. They're not my fav (we all know who my fav is) but they definitely made it to my top 7. But also, I feel like Carlos fans and Charles fans have different opinions abt Charlos. Most Carlos fans love it and adore it, while most Charles fans ignore Carlos and seem to make him a bad person and compare the two. (Which driver was the only non rb winner last year?)

2. Carcar: IT'S HONESTLY SO GOOD!! It's such a random ship bc it came out of nowhere and we all started loving it. The jokes that are made (check Oscar's tt comment section) are so funny. It's probably in my top 5 because I love random funny ships like them. I also love the whole "we share a mutual good friend who wants us to get along but we low-key don't think we ever will" type trope. But Carlos has come forward and talked about their "rivalry" or lack of, I should say. So I approve of Carcar

3. Versainz: idk if I have talked about them, but if I have, oh well I'm gonna talk about them again. Versainz is the best ever. I miss them being teammates and the whole "we're both nepo-babies that need to make our dad's proud and we're fighting for the same seat" I WISH Carlos got that seat, tho I'm happy for Checo. Ily, Checo 🫶🏼 Versainz gives me that whole "we're low-key in love with each other but can't act on it bc we both have trauma and internalized homophobia." vibe and I love it lmaoo. THE FICS ARE SO GOOD TOO!!

okay hi! i simply needed to swing by and tell you that skin deep has seriously not left my brain since i read it yesterday. it is genuinely one of the most well written fics (in general & call of duty specific) that i think i've ever read, as well as, i have now decided, my favorite ghost fic i have ever laid my eyes upon.

your characterization of him was just OH MY GOD it was perfect. i feel like you managed to preserve his cold, stoic exterior while also making him a genuine person that someone so nervous would still be comfortable with. but he is the perfect balance of intimidating yet also incredibly thoughtful. the switch from "you can cancel, i'll refund your money" to "how can i help?" had me SWOONING!!!!! (and i know it's like. basic general stuff but something about how careful and through he was with washing his hands and sanitation and everything ALSO had be swooning idk) sometimes i feel like his gruff dialogue can read a little stiff, but yours was SO NATURAL and i am just. incredibly floored by everything about the way that you wrote him in that fic. he was MWAH perfect.

also when he was late coming back from his break i was really sitting there going "😏🧐 i wonder why" (and i love when i'm right) and once again. insane. perfect. especially contrasting with how incredibly considerate and respectful he's being during the session. like he's taking such care to keep everything covered unless it doesn't need to be, he's so mindful of his hand placement, he's watching her reactions (not just to the pain but also to him. when she gasps he's SNATCHING that hand away. he'll be damned if he makes her uncomfortable and that is simply 😭) but he's like "🙂 be right back" because he can't handle it. that's INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and. don't even get me started on “If you can’t, then don’t,” that line. i had to close the computer for a moment. genuinely. that is the hottest thing i have ever read because i feel like so much smut is like goal-oriented and while there's nothing wrong with a man going "no you're going to give me another" there is something so. incredibly. intimate. about the simple desire to offer the other pleasure with no end goal.

then him asking her out immediately afterwards (but making a point to be like 'i don't regret doing that. just wish i'd done this properly' which gets me every time aksjfalkjhfsd) was so sweet and their dynamic was positively precious and wonderful and i ADORE them.

AND AS A DISCLAIMER! i don't think people should feel the need to care about a bunch of random characters if they don't want to. once again, this is fanfiction. do whatever the fuck you want. i promise it makes things so much more fun and chill. just because i wanna characterize the shit out of pandora fucking lovegood, i'd never demand anyone else does, and that's the crux of it, isn't it?

How do you choose which fics to write? it's either something I have a deadline for (self-imposed or not) or something that I have inspiration/motivation for! for example: right now I'm spending most of my writing time on a fic i'm writing for a minibang. I have a deadline for that, so I need to get it going, and this idea is the one that I have for this pairing that lends itself best to that type of event format. i've got quite a few prompts that i'm still trying to chug along on, because some of them are almost 3 years old at this point. i have a 5sos fic that i'd love to get done for summer because the summer setting is very important to it and i love the story idea. but otherwise i just go with what i feel like writing! whatever idea i'm vibing with!

41. Who’s your favorite character you’ve written? ooooooooooo. mr. michael in puzzle pieces is up there i love him. i have an oc named mason who i love a lot (his fic is not yet posted). i think i'll go with those two right now!

57. How conscious are you about including symbolism or foreshadowing in your fics? In longer fics, it's something that I try to catch and add in as i'm editing. in short things i'm not necessarily looking for it, but with longer ones i feel like it's important in maintaining continuity and ensuring that there's a good arc to the story, because that's something that i really worry about with my longer fics. most of it happens on accident and i flesh it out more in editing as i catch the potential for it.

In pas de deux, is there a deleted scene/idea you wish you could have included?  Why did it get cut? ooooo let me try to remember my process for that fic lol. initially michael was going to call harry styles on the phone and ask for insight on ashton. michael and harry danced together at abt and used to date, gemma partnered with ashton at nycb back in the day. the scene just didn't fit, was unecessary, and would've been more of a distraction than anything, especially because realistically harry wouldn't have anything substantial to tell michael if his sister is the one who danced with ashton and it was years ago.

66. What’s a fun fact about pas de deux? mmmmmm i believe every name that is dropped is the name of a semi-famous person somewhat associated with 5sos, with the exception of my high school theater tech director :)

anyway for my actual answer: in terms of direct inspiration, it doesn't really happen much? the last two times i did art directly based on someone else's work is probably this one from this fic, and also that time i drew art of someone else's judgment au. oh! and there's that moriohpsycho art based on this comic! (filthyguts' work is so very. hgngngghh. very good.) nothing else really comes to mind, and when i think of the other things i've been into recently there hasn't been as much opportunity for that to happen...

flex and herds = strong fixation but lmao. almost nobody else made stuff about them. nobody is surprised umineko = surprisingly i don't read much umineko fanfiction? and in terms of illustration, i certainly picked up imagery and indirect inspiration but nothing concrete enough for me to give an example... now that i think about it, i did once draw andromalius from redaction/sunny, but that was years ago, and also mostly because i was acquainted with the writer. ...i don't have that artwork on hand right now death note = didn't really get involved with the fandom + i enjoyed my own ideas well enough! ...i can't recall if i drew long-hair-L art before or after seeing other artists do it. and as for everything else the same kind of reasoning applies. didn't really get involved with the fandom or wasn't really compelled to make art in response to stuff i saw, or i just don't remember anymore.

buuuuuuut if we're opening this up to just... pulling ideas from other people? then yeah, all the time, though that kind of goes without saying when you have a creative hobby. ...it's probably going to be hard to come up with examples of this since it's more ambiguous.

Sometimes. Just sometimes by reading children's fantasy, we can forget just how layered people are. How complicated they really are.

And this fic truly shows what I love about Fintan so very much.

That Fintan isn't a bad person. He isn't a good person.

He's just, alive. He's living the life that he chose to. He's living through his actions and his consequences.

He kidnapped and murdered people. He was a councillor who saved hundreds of people. He lost control of his ability, and reached for the stars. He made a controlled type of fire that lights up the streets of Atlantis.

There's good, there's bad, but all of it makes up Fintan. And you did an amazing job showing that.

So yeah, your writing skill is astonishing to me, and I'll be thinking about this for a while <3

Anyway, Fintan is SUCH a complex character. The series has its flaws but some of its characters are just absolutely fascinating and maybe that's why I still love it. Fintan? Absolutely fascinating.

I feel like it makes him especially interesting that he's been alive for thousands of years. Because that's a lot of decisions and a lot of major life events and a lot of potential for really good things and really bad things. And that's how Fintan is! A lot of really good things. A lot of really bad things. It's hard to care about people when you realize they're both.

And Marella! Shit, Marella is Such A Character, I could scream about her for ages, but the way she and Fintan parallel each other and how they interact is so interesting. I feel like with all the time they spend together in canon and the way they're really the only people who understand what it's like for the other, they would definitely get close, and Marella would grapple with what that meant, being close with someone whose morality is as weird and grey as his.

I just. Them. They live rent free in my head and I'm so glad I've shoved them into yours as well.

The end, it's always the end, or more specifically, the last line. Some endings are like bam, it's done! Others are like ehhh needs some expanding. Dialogue endings are my fav, but a paragraph or two of descriptions is nice too :3 That one def needed it lolol.

Oohh, you know there was! It could've been all Steve's POV, their scene could've been longer, and there could've been more impact play :P but! there will always be more fics~~ Rose Blue (Steve/Bucky)

7: Where did the title come from?

Who would've thought that a Stone Sour song- Rose Red Violent Blue- would decide the future of the fic titles for the series? It has nothing to do with RB at all, but I just love that song/band :3 Pfft Steve/Bucky's wedding band has blue roses on them BECAUSE of that song. I just love it.

11: What do you like best about this fic?

Just, Bucky's loneliness and missing Steve and how it's resolved near the end. Steve just knows his husband/sub so well ;__; The dinner scene was my favorite chapter initially, but now I think I love the playroom scene the most. ROPE. Oh man, I need to write some more rope scenes. Bucky is TOTALLY a rope bunny.

6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?

RB is Animal Crossing, everything else is Doom (excluding year 0 and 1 prob)-- no but seriously XD. RB is so romanticly kinky, like the oneshots are pure filth, and RB does have some steamy scenes in it, but they don't compare to say, gogoboots lol. It's also the only multichapter so far! I've learned that I don't like 50+ fics anymore so hopefully when I do write the wedding/house buying fics, which will be multichapter, they won't be tooooo long.

Steve and Bucky have more lube in their house than you think. LOLOL AGAIN, SERIOUSLY. Lubefic was the starting point, more like kindling to the bonfire, of the OT3 section of the series. Loki's character was given more progression and they went from being a side character who worked at Thor's brewery to the main character who owns the club, and becomes romantically involved with Steve/Bucky after a few hookups. POLY POLY POLY!!!

9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?

YEAH! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A STEVE/BUCKY CRACKFIC LIKE "HAHA OUR HOUSEGUESTS FOUND THE PLACES WHERE WE KEEP OUR LUBE" BUT IT TURNED INTO NICHE OT3 RAREPAIR PRE-POLY FIC FT. LOKI. IT ALL STARTED BECAUSE STEVE GRABBED SOME LUBE OUT OF THE KITCHEN DRAWER DURING THE MUGFIC

3: What’s your favorite line of narration?

As opposed to the rest of the shed, the toolbox is cluttered with knick-knacks, even junkier for Tony’s standards. Where the bucket of paintbrushes should be is not there, and instead, a tall bottle with a flip cap sits in its place. The brand label is unfamiliar to him, however, the liquid is a yellowish-gold color. Oil, duh. It wouldn’t hurt to give Dum-E a good oiling, and he’s been needing it for a while now.

Basically, I love the Bloom!Verse so dang much that I couldn't EVER trade it for anything. I'm gonna add my own rant to this because it has been a fucking DAY for me. Now I seriously don't care if you want to unfollow me after these points thinking I'm “selfish for likes and reblogs and feedback” because quite frankly it proves that *you* are the one who's lazy to do those things and just consume content that we writers put so, SO much effort to make. Quite frankly, if you think that we're being selfish asking for feedback, interaction, YOU are the ones who are selfish about the content you consume. Face it.

I don't have to elaborate on the topic more as furat has done that perfectly, but I do want to point out something: when we ask for likes, reblogs, interactions on our works; this trend of going on anon and calling us selfish has resurfaced a lot lately. People say “bUt ArEnT yOu dOiNg tHiS fOr yOuRseLf yOuRe bEiNg tOo sElFiSh”. Well yeah, we do produce content, for ourselves, but YOU consume it. You, the readers, consume content that WE'VE made with so much effort. We make content to entertain you, yet we don't get any sort of return. We're not paid for this.

There are writers here who write NOVEL worthy stories, and yet their fics struggle to reach 100 notes. And don't even get me started on the sfw community. The like to rb ratio is growing more and more trash by the day, yet when we writers point it out, we get rude anons in our inbox. Don't tell me “yOu nEeD tO sTop WoRryInG aBouT nUmbErS” because NO, how else am I gonna feel validated on my writing? I'm no machine or robot that can write, and quite frankly, a large chunk of the reason I haven't been putting out written work lately is this reason. Because none of y’all silent readers bother to think that we writers have feelings and that we need validation to produce content.

It's been said countless times before, and I'll say it again: this site is NOT instagram. Your likes do NOTHING except telling me “hey I read this but I'm not gonna bother giving feedback or an rb :D” and before you tell me "hEy wHaT iF I juSt dOnT LikE yOuR wRiTinG" well then why are you even following me? This isn't about you. This is about those people who CONSUME out content, like it, but then think that's sufficient and don't bother to rb or leave feedback.

You're adorable? That fic u wrote in like 30 minutes? It has almost 500 notes, and none of them bothered to add feedback. Desert rose? I had so much feedback in the form of asks, reblogs, comments— it is the fic I'm most proud of even though it doesn't have a high note count. That's what your feedback does to us. It makes us feel happy about our writing and makes us want to work harder.

Another thing furat pointed out: our follower counts reach hundreds and thousands, but our fics BARELY get 50 notes. Why do you follow if you don't want to read my content, give me feedback and interact with my fics? Now before you take me wrong, I don't mean that you have to read every piece of content and give feedback because we all have our own lives, but there are people who follow me and have not even interacted with one (1) piece of writing of mine. If you wanna follow just for the sake of following: it's actually demotivating when our follower counts hit thousands and our fics don't even hit hundred notes, and don't even get ANY sort of feedback. Trust me, good feedback and interactivity with our fics is so, so much more worthy for us writers than any sort of milestone in notes. I'm serious.

I'm so, so tired for having to beg for validation, interaction, and there are writers who've had it worse than me. Seriously, interact with fics. Reblog. Leave comments in the tags. YOUR interactivity is what drives us to create more content to keep this fandom alive. If one day all writers, especially the sfw community, deactivate, it'll be because of this. Why spend time into a hobby that gives you NO return whatsoever? Hobbies are supposed to give you joy, and our joy is feedback and interactivity. Think of it that way.

guys, i hate to be doing this but it’s either i do, or i deactivate out of misery.

i’m done.

i’m done and tired, alright. i don’t know who do you think i am. maybe you think i’m some kind of machine, but i would really appreciate it if you interacted with my writing. and not just a tad bit more because i’m already only getting crumbs. i’m disappointed, okay, and i will hate myself for writing this but i have to. for those of you who comment on my work, inbox or in the tags or replies, or just reblog, thank you, i see you, and i love you. for the rest of you, who only come here to like and reblog my reblogs of gifs, why are you following me? i appreciate your follows, i really do, and they make me happy. i don’t want to sound like i’m pressuring everyone to do something they’re uncomfortable with, but it’s becoming unbearable. the more followers that arrive here, the less and less you guys interact. are you, by any chance, intimidated by me? because i honestly can’t find any other reason you would personally follow me then ignore me when i post. 

look, i don’t want this to sound like some selfish attention seeker crying out for attention. i never speak about this. i don’t reblog posts about how people should interact more because i don’t want to appear annoying. but waking up today, i realized that if i don’t let my thoughts out there, they will ruin me. ever since danse macabre, and the major disappointment from tumblr, i’ve been finding no will in me to write. i want to write. there’s so much i want to share with you guys. but i can’t do it when it feels like i’m talking to a wall.

and no. don’t tell me i shouldn’t mind the numbers and should write for myself. that’s bullshit, okay. not when i’ve been around for this long and have accumulated a decent audience. i’ve seen it with my own eyes. that dumb felix blurb hit 200 in 24 hours. it took me 30 minutes to write. it is now at 600 notes. the minho fic that required hours of worldbuilding and research then two months and 20 days of writing? it has been up since october and it’s at 177. you tell me. is this fair for me? i know people have a preference, but you chose to follow me, knowing that this is the kind of content i mainly write. make it make sense.

we don’t write for free. we write at the cost of our time and energy. those things aren’t free. i could be doing so many other things instead of writing, but i do it because i love it. when i see that people are following me for it, showing interest in it, i expect something in return.

if you’re a reader, then please, hear us out. stop trying to shut us down and call us dramatic. stop saying we’re assholes or attention seekers for talking about this. if you aren’t a content creator, you have no say in this. if you consume, then you must give back in the form of feedback. or at least a reblog. i appreciate your likes but frankly, they do me no good. 

i apologize for my outburst but if you don’t want to read my things nor even interact with me then be my guest and unfollow me. i was happy to hit 1k but i don’t see the charm in it anymore.
