Okay, we're back to school in chapter 88.

Again with Damian's shoujo filter towards Anya. Oh, and he finally bought the cake that she wanted, even the most expensive one it seems.

But of course, it would be difficult for him to give it to her when both of his best friends were beside him (and of course, the handkerchief thing was a secret between Damian and Anya).

In their classroom, Anya read his mind.

She asked Becky's help, who then suggested her to write a message for him. She then wrote the message twice because of... you know, her handwriting was still a mess. The second one was readable somehow, but it seems terrifying (like, she stabbed her own hand with her pencil?)

They then met at the courtyard, only to find out that their own best friends were so curious that they kept their eyes on them both.

Okay, these five kids are best friends and don't convince me otherwise (what's with that rawr in the last panel lol?)

Anyways, this is my favorite part.

Oh my, these dramatic kids...😅

Even so, they should remember that the class had already started so they needed to go back to their classroom before... oh no, they're late.

Later, Anya and Damian went to Henderson's office, and... well...

Then it turned out that the cake...

Wait, did Yor tell Melinda about the cake problem between the kids? How did she know?

But anyway, as it's Damian and Anya that we're talking about, there always be a problem right after they resolve the previous one.

And yeah, I can't resist to screenshot these pages because I just like the dynamic between these kids, not to mention that this chapter was released after the broadcast of episode 27 yesterday (is it a coincidence?)

Now I wonder about the next chapter...
