The collector's edition for Eastward came with a fun little cd soundtrack and there's like three bonus tracks included. These bonus tracks are absolutely no where online except in-game and in this collector's cd and like, for two of them its not a huge issue for me...
But like this one track is missing and its literally my favorite track in the whole fucking game.
It's just an alternate version of "Strange Quest" that plays during gameplay but it deviates from the main track in such a blissfully emotional way that it just makes me so goddamn happy I can't explain it. The fact it's not online and no one can look it up made me sad and now I have to fix that :'D For reference I'll put the main track below that's in the official digital release, cause it's still really fantastic y'all like this soundtrack is just full of fucking bangers mate aaaaaaaaaaaaa

“Tae and Jae”: Part 2 from the BTS 8th Member Series “Untamed”: Mae Jae:  The Gucci Twins Have A Day:   Fake Social Media + Imagine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Part Two to Tae and Jae’s day of adventure !
"Where are we going?"
Jae couldn't help but laugh at the bewildered look on Taehyung's face as he drove them further and further out into the middle of nowhere.
"Just keep going." she said. "It's not far from here."
"Where even is here?" he asked.  "It's pretty but I've never been here."
"That's kinda the point." she said.
"Did you bring me out here to kill me?" he asked, widening his eyes at her and pulling on his acting skills.  "Was this your equivalent of fattening up the pig?  Spoil me, feed me and then just bring me out here so you can bury me where no one can find me."
"How dramatic." she laughed at his faux face of terror.
His face melted back into his iconic boxy smile and he continued on before she directed him to pull off just ahead.
"Just sit tight and keep your eyes closed." she said before hopping out of the car.
"Well, this is it, I guess.  She's getting her weapon of choice out of the trunk.  I knew I should've been suspicious when she wouldn't let me help her with that big suspicious lump earlier. Good bye, cruel world."  he said dramatically out the open window.
Jae's laughter could be heard in the background.
Taehyung snickered a little as he could hear her moving around out there.
"Am I actually waiting for you to dig a hole?" he teased.
"Yah! Shut it! I'm working on something!"
He snickered again though he nearly hit on his head on the roof when she tapped him on the shoulder and he jumped.
"Ok, we're ready.  Come on." she grinned.
He cut the engine and climbed out, only to be ordered to shut his eyes again.
Jae took his hand and began to lead him forward a bit before they came to a stop.
"Ok, you can open them now."
It took him a moment to adjust to the brightness but when he did, his jaw opened in shock before his face squished in affection.
"Awwwww!!!! Noona!!!!"
Jae laughed as he clobbered her in a hug.
Tae never called her Noona unless he was particularly emotional.
There before them were two places set up for them to paint.
"I thought we could paint and watch the sunset." she supplied.  "We can go and get food afterwards and I know a place for a treat before we go home."
Tae squeezed her to him again once more before fishing his phone out of his pocket and snapping a picture of the easels and supplies.
"I love you." he said as he looked down at the picture on his phone.
"I love you too, Tae." she chuckled.  "Now come on, let's make some masterpieces."
He let her yank him towards the set up and the two of them spend the next couple of hours painting the scene around them and chatting comfortably.
The both of them had missed this.
Even when living in the same home, it was still sometimes hard to get one on one time with loved ones.
People were busy and as you got older, it only got worse.
In the beginning, when they were all crammed into a tiny little place with way too many bunks in one room, there were around each other constantly.
It was true that Taehyung still ended up in Jae's room at least a couple of times a week.
The poor guy needed to hold something to sleep and he would much prefer if it was a person as a pillow.
Jae usually let him because it was him but she also pulled long hours in her studio so sometimes she didn't even get home until the early hours of the morning.
Recently, she'd been working on her own content as well and doing producer work for the company and it wasn't uncommon at all for her to come at nearly four in the morning.
Not to mention, she was planning a trip to go back home to see her parents soon and he knew first hand what a pain travel plans could be.
He felt really touched that she thought about him enough to plan ahead and spend the day with him.
It reminded him of the early days when she'd take them all out one by one for ice cream or noodles.
Her and Jin had always done that kind of thing.
The eternal big siblings.
After they finished their paintings they left them on the easels and laid back on the tarp to watch as the last few rays of sunlight dipped below the horizon.
"This has been really nice, Jae." he said, arms tucked behind his head.
"I'm glad you've had fun, Tae." she said. "We're not done yet though."
"I would've been happy just driving around with you." he shrugged. "You didn't have to do all this."
Jae turned to look at him.
"I know that, Tae." she chuckled. "I know you'd be happy cuddling up and watching a movie.  But I wanted to do it.  I like treating you.  All of you.  And I wasn't always able to do things like this but now I am.  We're all in much better positions in life now, financially, emotionally, a lot of ways.  And I think it's important to spoil your loved ones when you get the chance."
"You spoiled us in the beginning." he laughed. "I remember when you used to take me to the convenient store and let me pick out any candy I wanted.  It felt like I'd been on a shopping spree."
"It was just candy, Tae." she said with an amused look.
"Not to me it wasn't." he said seriously.  "It was a lot more than that."
Her features softened looking over at him.
While Big Hit marketed the two of them as 'the twins' he was still a few years younger than her.
He'd grown into such a good man and she was so proud of him.
Sometimes she forgot that Taehyung was younger than her though and would always look at her like his older sister.
She remembered that scrawny kid with the boxy smile and the effervescent personality.
She remembered how so many people didn't know how to handle Taehyung's personality.
What Taehyung remembered was how even when they didn't get along in the beginning, she'd still come and get him and take him for noodles or make him dumplings in the middle of the night.
"Do you remember when you got up at like three in the morning and made me dumplings because I was missing my family?" he asked suddenly, looking up into the darkening sky.
She laughed, "Yes.  I remember we weren't exactly close then but I could hear you in the other room."
Taehyung laughed, "I remember you walked out and I was fully expecting you to scold me for not being in bed."
"Sounds like me." Jae snorted.
"But you didn't.  You just walked into the kitchen, hair snatched into a bird's nest on your head and started cooking." he said. "I remember I just watched you for the longest time and then you just shoved me a plate and said- 'Here'."
"I wasn't that great at expressing myself back then." she shrugged. "Food was my love language."
"Kinda still is." he teased.
She shrugged, "Food is simple.  You can do a lot for someone by just letting them know that you care enough about them to make sure they're well fed."
The two of them looked at each other softly.
"I didn't always say it.  In fact, I never said it in the beginning.  But I'm really appreciative of you being there and taking care of us.  If it weren't for you and Jin, I don't know that I would've stayed.   Joon made it clear that we could do it and that he'd lead us.  That gave some reassurance.  But without you and Jin, I just don't think I could've handled it." he admitted turning back to the blossoming stars in the sky.
"Yes you could've, Taehyung." she said, eyes focused on his profile. "Because you're far more talented than you give yourself credit for.  I have no doubt that you'd have been fine without anyone else. But I'm really glad that I've gotten to be along for the ride to watch you grow. It's been a priviledge.  One that I hope I can continue to have for the rest of my life."
Taehyung refused to respond and instead just rolled over to cuddle her.
She laughed, rubbing her hand up and down his back.
"Oh you big softy." she said.
They laid like that for the longest time before she pulled him to his feet.
"Come on. Let's get this loaded up and then I'm taking you for japchae." she said, smirking when his face lit up.
He didn't need to be told twice and soon they were speeding off in the direction of a little spot that sold some of the best japchae she'd ever had.
Which was saying something because she'd had a lot of it in her years in this world.
They tucked into a booth and she smiled watching Taehyung happily dig into his meal.
She snapped a picture and uploaded it before she tucked in herself.
Only a few moments and she laughed when she saw that Jungkook had already commented, whining about wanting some.
"We have to pick pizza up before we go home." she said.
Tae's eyebrows lifted, cheeks puffed and mouth full of food.
It was a comical sight.
"Kookie is hungry." she explained and his eyes creased in a smile.
"When is he not?" he asked when he finally swallowed.
"He's a growing bunny!" she defended.
"He's only two years younger than me." Taehyung said.
"He'll always be my baby bunny." she said with determination.  "I don't care if he's sixty.  He's bunny forever."
"You're such a mom." he laughed.
"The same goes for you." she said. "No matter how old you get, you'll always be my rambunctious little tiger cub."
Taehyung's creased in a smile.
One that he was never able to fight off when Jae referred to him as her cub.
"When are you headed back to see your family?" he asked.
"In a couple more weeks. I still have to iron out a few details and finish up a song I'm producing." she said.
"Are you excited?" he asked knowingly.
"I am." she grinned. "It's been so long since I've seen them in the flesh.  And video calls just aren't the same."
He nodded knowingly.
He understood that.
He loved the BTS family that he'd come to have but it was different than actually seeing your relatives.
It was also something that none of them really got the chance to do very often.
Taehyung, himself, barely got to see his siblings and parents, and his grandparents, who had raised him, had been gone for a few years now.
"How long are you staying for?" he asked.
"Three weeks." she said, feeding her noodles into her mouth.
"Oh god." he said.  "Jimin is going to be a monster."
"Not my sweet baby Jiminie." she teased knowing full well how much of an absolute demon Jimin could be sometimes.
His brat energy was off the charts at times and when he was pouty he was a menace.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, "Yeah, sweet baby Jiminie. Suuure."
"Well, you two can cuddle each other while I'm away." she said.  "We both know you'll be sulky too."
"I'm offended that you would even suggest such a thing." he said. "I don't sulk."
"Mmmhmm, sure." she said, impishly looking at him over the rim of her glass as she took a drink.
He pouted at her and she nearly choked to death on the sprite.
He grinned evilly, "Karma."
"Shut it." she said, wiping the soda from her face.
"I'm gonna miss you when you're gone though." he said.
She reached out to pat his hand.
"It'll be ok, Tae." she said. "It won't be long."
"I know. And I do hope you have fun." he said but she could tell he was still fighting another pout.
"I'll call everyone all the time." she offered. "You can even sleep in my bed while I'm gone."
"Well, thank you for the permission but Tannie and I have already made plans to temporarily move in anyway.  And I will be raiding your closet while you're gone."
"I expected nothing less." she said. "Although, you act like you don't just walk in and do that anyway."
He grinned in response before leaning back and patting his stomach.
"My grandma would be proud." he said.
Jae laughed in response.
"Alright, come on, tiger cub.  I got one last treat, then we'll pick up some pizza for the heathens and head home." she said sliding out and pulling him to his feet.
He stretched and reached for his back pocket.
"Touch your wallet and you die tonight, Kim Taehyung." she said. "I already told you.  The next time, you will actually get a spanking right here in public."
Taehyung didn't say anything else.
He just hugged her from behind, chin on her shoulder while she paid the cashier and left a tip for the waiter.
He snatched her hand as soon as they were outside and swung them together like a child.
"You happy, Tae?" she asked.
"Very." he said.
"Alright, come on." she said.
He didn't fight her when she took the keys from him.
She could tell he was getting sleepy by this time.
He watched her while she drove them, weaving through the streets until they came to another stop.
Taehyung had nearly fallen asleep to the hum of the car and the feeling of the cool air conditioning on his skin.
"Come on, cub." she said tapping his nose. "Let's go."
He grinned when he noticed that she'd taken him to a hot chocolate bar.
The spent the next hour indulging in the delicious chocolatey treat, adding cream and marshmallows.
Even a few odd combinations here and there that Jae claimed were an abomination and that they should never speak about.
Tae had posted it to his social media and Jin had lectured Jae about giving him chocolate at this time of night as if Taehyung were four and then proceeded to call her and further assert his point.
"Kim Seokjin, you watch your tone or I'll sneak into your room while you're sleeping and lick your face." she said.
The fast and comical angry response that she recieved had Tae rolling with laughter when she put Jin on speaker phone.
"Jesus Christ." she said when she finally hung up.  "I can only imagine his blood pressure right now."
"That vein in his neck is probably popping out right now." Tae said.
"He's getting a little red in the face." she continued.
"Hair whipping back and forth as he shakes his head." Tae laughed.
"Fastest rapper in the world." she giggled.
"Activated when angry." he said before the two of them dissolved into a fit of giggles.
Eventually, they piled back into the car and after having stopped for pizza for the rest of the members, they sped away towards their home.
Taehyung was sleeping when they got there, all but laid out over the console to throw his arm around Jae while she was driving.
She poked his cheek until he stirred.
"Come on, big guy." she said. "Help me take everything in."
His face was pinched as  he struggled to wake up but he slowly helped her take everything inside anyway.
Jungkook, who had heard her car pull in, met them half way and snatched the pizza boxes out of her arms.
"You're welcome!" she yelled after him with a laugh.
"Thank you!" he called back before he disappeared from view.
When they finally made it in, the whole lot of them had surrounded the table like a pack of wild hyenas.
There was a mumble of greetings and thank yous.
The two of them parted ways to go and shower and change.
Jae was laying on her bed, scrolling through the pictures of the day when her door opened and Tae stood there.
Hair a fluffy mess and white tee shirt and pajama bottoms hanging on his frame.
He grinned before running and jumping on her.
"Oh god, Tae! Some warning would've been nice!" she laughed as he snuggled into her.
He looked the picture of innocence, head nestled in the blankets, eyes sparkling at her like a little boy up to no good.
She snapped another picture of him because it was just too good.
"Can I sleep in here tonight?" he asked.
She tapped her finger to her chin, pretending to be thinking before she smirked at him.
"I guess." she said, laughing when he grinned that boxy smile at her and called out for Tannie.
The pomeranian came bounding in and jumped on the bed, fully preparing to nest for the night.
They half watched something on Netflix for a while, half played on their phones, hands scratching idly at Tannie's fur.
She snickered as she watched him tuck his arm behind his head and take a selfie.
"Ooooh, Kim Taehyung and his selcas!" she teased and he almost shoved her off the bed.
However, a few moments later when she recieved a notification she couldn't help but aww.
'I have had the best day ever. Thank you for spending time with me and spoiling me today, Twinkie.  I love you so much. @BTSJae #VXBFFL'
He hid his face when he could see her reading the caption.
Jae smirked, typing out her own response.
'I'm glad you had a good day, pumpkin.  I always love spending time with you, baby bear.'
Taehyung peeked at his phone at the notification and shoved his face into the pillow with a groan of happiness.
She just chuckled and turned her attention back to the flat screen, just very thankful to be where she was in life.

TUA DISNEY AUs: Big Hero 6 (Pt. XVIII)
(please understand that by AU, I mean they share an incredibly small amount of things in common with the original source material which I barely remember BUT the “story” takes place in the setting of the film) (not to be misleading or anything :p)
(BEWARE: abuse, murder, corruption, mental health issues, unhealthy coping mechanisms, suicidal ideation, death, grief, violence, basically i took the sad montage after Tadashi dies and just kept going with that except without the whole "getting better" thing, sorry, my bad, enjoy anyway i guess i don't know, bye, etc.)
(If you can handle watching Umbrella Academy, this will be fine for you.)
Tumblr media
(Hiro) Vanya hasn’t much of a head for science - not since a gas explosion in her childhood apartment killed her parents and exposed her to radiation, leaving her brittle-boned and sickly. She spends most of her days holed up in her room, reading and writing about every little thing she sees and hears and feels. There’s this cat in the alleyway she feeds sometimes, and her friend Ben who comes by to see how she is every few days. The only time she goes out is for school, or bot fights down in the bad neighborhoods. At those she gets to see Ben, and his partner Klaus and his friend Diego. Oh, and Sissy - the beautiful, shy punk girl who spins the records in the corner store. Vanya lives what she considers a pretty average life - until Ben dies, she screams, and all the windows around her shatter from nothing.
(Tadashi) Ben has been a science nerd for years, spending hours in the libraries and labs researching every little thing that catches his fancy. His partner, Klaus, has no such interest, having more of a head for poetry, but Ben loves him more than life itself - especially since Klaus was the only person who stuck with him when one of his experiments went wrong a few years ago, resulting in tentacles that are prone to ripping out of his chest when he’s angry. And since he loves Klaus so much, he spares not a second thought to running back into a burning building to get him back, even when it means certain death. And Ben knows you can’t bring back the dead - he tried when Klaus’ beloved boyfriend Dave died in a gunfight a few years back. Once you’re gone, you’re gone - or so he thinks until he wakes up and Klaus starts crying and muttering, You’re here, you’re here, you’re here, I did it, I did it, I did it - and Ben reaches out and thinks, Oh, no, sweetheart. You didn’t.
(Honey Lemon) Allison was engaged to Ray before he disappeared, but even after that failed experiment lost her the love of her life, she continued to work for the forward movement of science and kept her vow of love to Ray. Using her research, she managed to create a pill that allowed her to bend reality, hoping to bring back Ray. Though she couldn’t raise the dead - no amount of I heard a rumor Ray was alive again worked - she won herself other advantages with her newfound powers, including sponsors, knowledge, opportunities, and protection. Klaus, Diego, Five, and Ben are her only true friends in this world - and she nearly loses all of them when Ben dies, drowning in their grief. When Luther, one of Five and Ben’s passion projects starts hanging around to monitor their mental health, Allison finds a new kind of love - deep, ever-lasting friendship that she’ll never give up. Even when they have to leave him behind on the moon after they save Ray, she doesn’t let him go - she finally knows how to speak up for what she wants, and speak up she does: I heard a rumor that Luther came back to me.
(Fred (actually a mash-up of Honey Lemon and Hiro though to be honest)) Klaus is a starving artist and poet, and he's covered in tattoos of his own words and drawings. Diego is too, because Diego loves him, and Klaus wants to love him back and probably does already, if he’s really honest with himself, but he’s not ready yet. Dave happened too soon ago. And then there was a fire, and Klaus was running around outside, looking for Ben, looking for the platonic love and light of his life, and he saw him run inside screaming Klaus’ name and never come back out. And he lives with that guilt every day, smoking and drinking all the bad shit again in an effort to just forget, forget, anything goddamn anything to forget, and he goes crazy. People forget, because he’s not a student at their nerd school and because he acts like a dumbass, that Klaus is actually just as much a genius as the rest of them, and whatever he wants, he can get without much trouble. So what if he can’t bring back the dead? He won’t live without Ben, he won’t, and he won’t leave Diego - which leaves only one option, really: find a way to make himself see ghosts.
(Wasabi) Diego lives a charmed life. Truly. He’s almost been assassinated fifteen fucking billion times, his two best friends are robots, and he’s in love with a person too sad to love him back. See, Diego’s skills brought him to the military’s special attention - he found a way to make weaponry that doesn’t obey the laws of physics. He keeps it as secret as he can, and will sell it to nobody, but millions of people are still after it. It’s not until one of the assassins almost nails Klaus with a bullet and Diego kills her with a store-bought kitchen knife without moving that he realizes the weaponry he created isn’t special, but Diego is. From then on it’s nothing but trouble - because Klaus likes to dumb himself down, but he can’t fool Diego, and so when he starts screaming at empty air and calling it Ben, Diego isn’t surprised in the least, though maybe he should be. Instead he just sighs, opens his arms, and lets a sobbing Klaus fall into him, loving him more than he did yesterday and less than he will tomorrow. Diego has his home, and he has his people, and he has his powers - and he will defend them to the fucking death.
(Gogo) Five is bitter and grumpy, living off coffee and perpetually crazy. He’s brilliant enough to have done surgery on himself, implanting an AI pacemaker in his heart named Dolores from an accident that nearly stripped him of everything, his life included. He was born with special powers, both of which fuelled his fascination with science, but he keeps that secret close to his chest - he’s seen what people do to Diego and Allison, and he has no interest in that. He’s close with the others, somewhat, though his impassable genius makes it difficult for people to understand him - Diego gives him piggy back rides and he often falls asleep curled into Klaus’ side, and Allison gives him rides home and Ben builds robots with him. But as hard as he finds it to connect with them, it’s even harder to lose them - so when he realizes he can use his time travel powers to save Ben, he doesn’t hesitate. And then he’s dying in Klaus’ arms, and he’s watching as his favorite person in the world chooses to lose the love of his life all over again to save Five, and something deep inside him changes.
(Baymax) Luther is a medical robot, built by Five and Ben in their spare time. There are some videos in him, mostly of Ben talking to Klaus because Luther was meant to be a gift for Klaus to help him with his depression, anxiety, PTSD, anorexia, and addiction, etc.. Five adds grief counseling to his programming and gives him to Klaus on his first birthday after Ben’s death, making Klaus dissolve into tears. While Luther clashes with Diego, who hates him for surviving where Lila didn’t, they get along well enough to appease Klaus, because Luther knows Klaus loves Diego and Diego knows Luther helps Klaus. When they travel to the moon to get Ray, Luther winds up stuck there, unable to get the others home if he doesn’t stay behind. Klaus and Allison both have trouble letting him go, but Klaus forces Allison to come home with him, crying as he leaves Ben for the third and final time. When Allison brings Luther back, his videos still intact, Klaus touches Ben’s face on his chest and cries, cries, cries.
Lila is a malfunctioning masterpiece, and Diego’s best friend. He made her as a help robot, but she’s a prototype, and was rejected for her proneness to violent outbursts and catatonic episodes. She’s easy to manipulate, as Diego never bothered to fix her security protocols, but it’s not like there’s anyone else who talks to her - except Five, and he’d never touch her programming without Diego’s explicit permission. She sleeps at Diego’s house, in her charging station next to Eudora’s. Lila knows robots can’t feel love, so that isn’t what she’s feeling - but her wires are tied to Eudora’s in some way, she just knows it. They’re two halves of the same code. But she never gets to explore that link - she burns away to nothing in the fire that destroys the Handler’s minions, using the last of her strength to save Five from the flames. She hopes, when Diego finds his baby brother curled in her charred corpse, that he’ll bury her in the rain, and keep on living without her well enough.
Eudora is a suicide-prevention robot. Seriously. That’s all she’s here for. Ben and Diego built her together for Klaus specifically, programming her with some of his favorite jokes and references so she’d have an easier time talking him down from the edge when one of them can’t be there. She’s programmed to instantly call Ben, Diego, Five, or Allison immediately if she finds him doing dangerous things, like playing with Diego’s knives naked. (It happened one time. Seriously. True story.) She’s calm and gentle, unruffled and kind, and Diego often spends hours talking to her, because she may be programmed for Klaus but she can still help anyone who needs it. He nearly looses her to Cha-Cha, but Klaus saves her just in time, beating Cha-Cha to a steaming hunk of scrap metal with a baseball bat for trying to hurt his best (robot) friend. She’s not saddened by Lila’s death, per say, she can’t be… but when she’s downloading databases on panic and anxiety attacks for Diego and Klaus, she makes sure to save some on insomnia for herself, too.
Sissy is a botfighter, one who dresses in a black and magenta punk aesthetic to fend off strangers, too shy for the world. She messes around with Vanya, the two of them often dancing in the rain and finding joy in the small moments, but happily ever after was never in the cards for them. Sissy lives with her abusive boyfriend Carl and has their son to take care of, an accident from too many beers - when Carl murders her in a drunken rage, it’s less of a surprise and more of a solemn inevitably. Her son, Harlan, is placed in Vanya’s care, and Vanya travels the world with him, telling him everything about his mother she knows. It’s a bittersweet ending, but a hopeful one too.
Ray was a student at the nerd school before he became a therapist, using his incredible mind-healing technology to help people all over the world. Allison fell in love with him quickly, easily, and the two were engaged before the year was up, planning for a spring wedding in which Klaus would, obviously, be the flower girl. But when he was offered the chance to go to space as a therapist for the other nine people on the mission, he jumped at the chance, bidding Allison goodbye and heading to the moon. But something went wrong and he was lost to the world, along with the other nine astronauts, all of whom died when the ship crash-landed. Ray has been in a coma for years there, having been knocked out in the explosion, and remains that way until Luther brings him home, Allison having come for him at last. (When he’s well enough to, he takes care of Five, Klaus, and Diego, whose mental states have been steadily declining for years. Their robots are brilliant, of course, but there are some things you just need a human for.)
Reginald is the dean of the nerd school and also an asshole. He has a habit of killing students when they get in his way, or to steal their inventions as his own - and he gets away with it too, because he’s at the forefront of memory technology and quite literally erases these people from existence so nobody comes asking questions. Plus he’s got connections in the government that destory any records he needs destroyed. He had a couple of kids he wanted to get rid of the night of the showcase, and started the fire to make it seem like an accident - well, Ben actually was an accident, he wasn’t on Reginald’s hitlist, not yet, but whatever. It is what it is. What Reginald doesn’t anticipate is Klaus - because nobody ever anticipates Klaus - and so he thinks nothing of it when he confesses to Ben’s murder in his monologue in front of all his former students. He can just erase their memories later. Or so he thinks, until Klaus lets out a savage war cry and lunges forward to strangle him, killing him in cold blood without a second thought, and so is the end of Reginald Hargreeves. (Five takes the fall for his murder - not that it matters. Diego and Klaus break him out and the three of them disappear, never to be seen again - at least, not until Allison’s done manipulating every single person in the world into forgetting it ever happened on live TV.)
The Handler is Reginald’s finest invention: a flawless AI in a perfect human body. Problem is, she became bored of being his servant years ago and took over his life, blackmailing him into doing whatever she wants. Most of the killings are still his idea, and Ben certainly wasn’t her fault, but it’s the Handler who wants Five dead, and it’s the Handler who sends her reject minions after him. She wants Eudora dead and she wants Klaus deader, but she gets neither - Five finds her and hacks her into little tiny pieces, putting all of them in a fire and then shoving those ashes into an Iron Maiden, dropping the Handler to an inescapable grave. Fuck her “life”.
Hazel is a teddy bear with a security camera in his stomach. He sits on Agnes’ counter in her donut shop, just watching the goings-on even though nobody ever steals anything there. Mostly he’s held in the lap of Five, who comes into Agnes’ whenever he doesn’t want his friends to see him cry - over a failed invention, Klaus’ most recent suicide attempt, Lila’s death - whatever, you name it. Agnes takes care of him, making him milkshakes when he asks for coffee, and eventually sends Hazel home with him, asking him to take care of Five for her. He doesn’t know it’ll be the last time he ever sees her - two weeks later Agnes is killed by Reginald and her donut shop is ransacked by looters. Her memory lives on in Hazel and Five, who rebuilds and reopens the shop with Klaus and Diego and Allison after a couple years, renaming it for Ben and living on despite his grief, and Hazel sits on the counter again, watching the sunset through the glowing windows.
Cha-Cha was supposed to be one of those “oh-hey-we’re-not-racist-anymore-we-make-black-dolls-too-see?” Barbies. She ended up with a rather experimental kid who enjoyed robotics and horror films, resulting in Cha-Cha: an AI in a Barbie with chainsaw arms. She kidnaps Klaus under the Handler’s orders, as he’s a connection to Five (who the Handler wants to kill) and Ben (who’s the only connection to Reginald and the Handler’s murders). This backfires spectacularly, of course, when Eudora and Diego come for him: Cha-Cha goes for Eudora’s throat and Klaus breaks himself free of his binds and beats her to smithereens with a baseball bat.
Leonard used to hang around Vanya, just generally assaulting her and being a creep, until suddenly he disappeared one rainy Monday never to be seen again. His body was found rotting in a lake a couple years later. It was revealed later on that he had decided to and succeeded in making real-life replicas of the Five Nights at Freddie’s characters, and they hadn’t been too fond of him trying to boss them around. The Handler recruited the replicas later on for her own schemes, and they followed Reginald rather well, their appetite for people satisfied well enough. But Leonard remains the school legend, and a striking reminder to be careful what monsters you let live.
Grace is the queen of the Land of the Remembered, and you may be wondering what she’s doing in this story. Well, to put it simply - Reginald’s little games have been messing with her shit. There are perfectly kind and memorable people who have come down to her only to be erased in the Land of the Living within the week, leaving her no choice but to take them in as refugees, working out a deal with the Land of the Forgotten since they weren’t given a fair shot at their deserved afterlife. She takes care of Ben when he dies for the second and final time, appearing to assure Klaus he’ll be alright when he crosses over. This is when Diego finally learns the truth about his mom, who has always been home in time to make dinner and never missed a single milestone, and who is apparently also an all-powerful goddess. She gives him a hug and tells him his boyfriend is cute (He’s not my boyfriend.) (You’re holding hands, darling. You may be an oblivious idiot, but I’m not.) and then she heads off, though she’s always back with Ben for the holidays. (Not Lila, unfortunately. She has no jurisdiction over robots.)
And Hiro is ace-aro and he and Miguel are QPPs, and Honey Lemon and Wasabi are QPPs, and Fred and Wasabi are dating, and Gogo is an bisexual aro queen with a girl she likes to kiss in the back alleyways, and Hiro has two sisters named Violet and Boo and Tip is his ace-aro lab partner. You’re welcome.

folklore is taylor swift's best album, and i stand by that. (my album review)
hello swifties, i'm back.
folklore is taylor swift's eighth studio album, and in my humble opinion, it's her best. this album holds such a special place in my heart because it's what propelled me into being a full-time swiftie. i apologize in advance for how repetitive i'm going to get because i will be proclaiming my love for every track.
now that the pleasantries are done, let's talk about folklore aka the winner for AOTY (thank you scammy's, at least they did one thing right)
Tumblr media
1. the 1
this song is so easy to love. it's fun, light, catchy, and so soothing. the opening line just grabs your attention, so good job ms. swift. i don't have a lot to say about it, but i think it was a great choice to make this the first track. it's one of her best album openers.
2. cardigan
i looove cardigan. the beginning may turn you off, but it PICKS UP by the third verse. i love the lyrics, and i loooove the music video. it's one of her most beautiful music videos, there's no argument. the fact that she made it during a pandemic - her power. also, selling the cardigans as merchandise was one of the best decisions she's made, they're beautiful.
3. the last great american dynasty
ok guys, here's the truth - this song was a grower. i didn't connect with it for a little bit, and i didn't really gravitate towards it. i never hated it, but it's one of the songs (yes you read that right, we'll get there) that took a minute for me to really appreciate. i eventually saw the light though because on one magical day, something shifted and i realized that it's a great song that deserves its hype.
4. exile ft. bon iver
I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! if "exile" isn't in your top 3, you need to reevaluate some things. in my opinion, it's the best collaboration taylor has done. it is raw, emotional, soul-crushing, and above all magical. it transcends you into another world. the bridge and everything after is pure serotonin. i loved it from the second i heard it, and it's never let me down.
Tumblr media
5. my tears ricochet
again, I LOVE THIS SONG!! it's also in my top 3, and it never left its place. it is so beautifully haunting. the lyrics and imagery really stay with you. there are so many meanings, so apply it to your life anyway you want. i have never felt true betrayal but this song makes me feel like i have. this is one of her strongest fifth tracks. thank you taylor, your good deeds won't be forgotten.
6. mirrorball
i can't believe i'm admitting this, but "mirrorball" was another grower. when i first heard it, my immediate reaction was, "wow this would be a great song to include in a movie when the main characters are slow dancing at a school dance." i still think that. but, one day i heard it again, and it opened my eyes to the fact that this song is amazing. the bridge is definitely my favorite part, and i hope it's your's.
the meaning is so sad, because taylor has expressed her fear that people aren't going to want to listen to her past a certain point, and she's always had to reinvent herself. it's interesting how females in the music industry have to constantly reinvent themselves, but males don't... hmm...
that's another topic, but it should be said.
anyway, i just want taylor to know she can literally release absolutely anything, and we will still listen. i just want her to be authentic, be happy, and make music that fulfills her.
Tumblr media
7. seven
this song was another grower, and i'll be honest, it's not the song i gravitate towards a lot. but, i still love it. it's sweet, innocent, and soothing. the second verse is my favorite.
8. august
AUGUST STANS ARE WE HERE??
where do i even begin?? the second i hear the opening lines, i'm at peace. it is perfect. "august" is just pure serotonin packaged into a song. the bridge is immaculate. i've yet to meet anyone who doesn't like this song, and if you do, don't talk to me :)
also, i love the love triangle storyline lol. it makes the songs so much more interesting. there's not much to say except, thank you, taylor.
9. this is me trying
this song is so nice to listen to, and it's so easy to love. the lyrics are thoughtful, and the instrumentals enhance it so well. i really overplayed it when the album first came out lol. it's short and sweet.
10. illicit tears
wow, it was so rude of taylor to drop this soul-crushing song without any warnings and expect me to be fine. i'm still waiting for the apology video btw.
in all seriousness, this song is a masterpiece. the lyrics are so vivid, she's unbelievable. the bridge is unreal, it just makes you wanna scream (pun intended). i love the second verse, it just picks up from there. even though the storyline is sad, it is a gorgeous song. also, she taught me like 2 new words from this song, so thank you for expanding my vocabulary, taylor.
11. invisible string
swifties, this song is adorable. the idea of an invisible string connecting you and your soulmate is beautiful, and i hope we can all experience this feeling one day. it is such a cute song, i really enjoy it.
12. mad woman
this song was also a grower, but rest assured, i love it. i love the meaning, and when she dropped the f-bomb, it sure grabbed my attention.
Tumblr media
13. epiphany
"epiphany" is beautiful. i know some people feel it's too sad, but i love sad songs, so i'm not complaining. it's calming, and her voice and the instrumentals are beautiful. i really enjoy it.
14. betty
wow, betty is a masterpiece. the harmonicas, oh my gosh. she curses in this one too, and it's great. the last chorus is unbelievable, i can't believe she actually made this song. taylor really treated us well, i'm so grateful.
would you forgive james? i wonder what people think of the love triangle.
15. peace
"peace" is so cute, it just makes me happy. it took a minute for it to grow on me, but i'm glad it did.
16. hoax
"hoax" is another hauntingly beautiful song. i think it was a good song to close with, and her vocals sound great.
17. the lakes
i wish this song made the final tracklist, but i'm glad she released it regardless. it's SO beautiful, i love everything about it. i wouldn't change a single thing. i love the meaning behind it, her lyricism is incredible. she turns into a superhero when she picks up that pen.
overall thoughts:
i don't know what else to add, i think i said it all in the beginning. this album came at the perfect time, taylor always knows when i need her. i'm so grateful for her because she just released music this year and said "here you go, enjoy." i have such happy memories with this album, it's one of my all-time favorites. it's one of my comfort albums, and i'll never grow tired of it.
my rating: 10/10
the weakest song: lol, you thought.
the strongest songs: my tears ricochet, illicit affairs, exile, mirrorball, august, and cardigan. those are the ones i gravitate towards the most, but let's be real, they're all strong and amazing. this was a hard choice to make.
THANK YOU TAYLOR SWIFT.
also, i hope you all enjoy fearless (taylor's version). see you soon swifties, xoxo.

Konami’s wheels are turning... slowly
Lot’s of interesting news heading to our heads this Monday from what I heard from Yong Yea’s video about Konami wanting to outsource their IP’s to 3rd parties.
Obviously, Akira Yamaoka has kinda given away a strong hint that he’s working on a project with Bloober which in this case would be the long awaited SH remake or the direction they had with PT before it got cancelled. Akira Yamaoka also decided that (too late) he wanted to amend the article from his interview and release it later down the line. It’s very unusual that these news happen, but we all know Yamaoka is most famous for his music in Silent Hill.
Which brings me to a funny story about my own involvement of a Silent Hill game. I mentioned this on a podcast that I was part of 2 Konami-owned IP’s that went into another direction and killing off their franchises which have been like dead bodies in a morgue for the last 7 years.
I got the request to write industrial-metal music for a Silent Hill (of course at this time I only knew the IP and their most famous version of the game has been Silent Hill 2.) game. First I was of course very excited to be part of the series, but I jumped to early until I found out it was a Pachinko-machine (A japanese style pinball-game mixed with a touch-screen and a one-armed bandit and a slot-machine in one.), and my heart sank a little. I think I produced 4-5 cues for the machine, but I’m glad that nobody will be able to hear my “mediocre” masterpieces because all you would hear are metal-balls falling into a tray. But the thing about this machine, it had taken cut-scenes from Silent Hill 2, upscaled or even re-mastered/remade the graphics which would have looked great if it was its own game. But it was the same thing they’ve done with all their other IPs when those transfer over to this kind of entertainment. All what was left of it, Jim Sterling turned the game into a Meme and all I can hear is the -”HIT THE LEVER!” and the effects overpowering the music behind it. But I’m glad it didn’t go further then that. Technically here, Silent Hill(s) died with the arrival of the pachinko-slot machine and the series have tried to re-establish itself ever since.
Another game I was a part of was a Castlevania (Dracula in Japan) themed Pachinko-slot machine, with the revolutionary phrase “Erotic Violence” in it’s PR material and video-commercial. I mean, they took the music production part of this machine very seriously because I wasn’t aware of the “EV” part. I just thought it would be a machine praising the history of Castlevania. I was assigned to re-write and re-orchestrate a few songs from Neo-classical Metal music into more Progressive Metal style, and I was super-proud of this one because they had the sheet-music already available for me. All I had to do was re-arrange some parts for a string-quartet (1 cello, 2 violins and 1 viola) and I believe it was engineered and recorded by famed engineer Kenji Nakai who was under and working with famed engineer Mr Bruce Swedien (Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones).
From that moment me and Mr. Nakai stroke a friendship because he has a passion for Progressive Metal and he asked me if I could send more songs his way. From this we both have been incredibly busy on both of our ends, but I hope we can be able to work on something in the future. I have a feeling that might be soon.
So a long story short, Konami spent a lot of money for recording, they approved everything and we were done. But when it turned out to be a pachinko-machine and not a world-wide videogame release, I just had to facepalm myself, asking the question why they keep doing so many poor decisions. Why leaving all those fans out in the cold and really start making Castlevania mean something. This void of “lots of fancy things, but no substance” started right here...
Konami are turning their wheels a little bit too late and too slow until now. After they got rid of Hideo Kojima (Who I believe was thinking of the international-market rather than the domestic one), Konami had only one thing on their minds: Making money quick and domestically. No more wasted time on translations, straight for the gambling crowd. No need to write interesting stories. No need to introduce kids to this adult material. They wanted to earn it back as fast as possible. But we all see their decisions put them on the map as a “black-company”, who mistreat their staff, shaming them out in the office for overstaying their lunch-breaks. Moving staff from one business to another, from a programmer to a Konami-fitness Center-staff, or as a toilet-cleaner at a Konami-owned pachinko-slot gambling hall. The management of the company has been horrendous for the full-time employee. I’m glad I was not part of these later projects and only wrote stuff for them for Pro Evolution Soccer series from 2009-2012. (My work on 2010-2012 was unfortunately un-credited work. :(
Metal Gear Solid V - The Phantom Pain In My Ass
When the playable teaser called Metal Gear Solid - Ground Zeroes, came out on the PS3 and later on the PS4, it was an introduction for the new graphics engine designed by Hideo Kojima’s team, simply called The FOX-Engine. Basically this “game” was more of a demo rather than a full-product. But it looked great and with a fantastic score by Akihiro Honda, Ludvig Forssell and Harry Gregson-Williams, it had everything going for it to become something really awesome. It became a standard approach from Hideo Kojima now to produce “Playable Teasers” to show a great concept while offering a 3-4 hour short campaign, showing off the engine’s graphical capabilities.
Still, the story was under progress and I knew early on that Hideo Kojima really didn’t want to do it after he always felt that Metal Gear Solid 4 was final. But here is the curse of the die-hard fans, and I’m sorry to say it. No matter how many Iron Man movies Marvel crams out, at the 3rd movie, I started to feel “This does not feel like Iron Man anymore”. But that’s what the fans wanted and is a standard in the movie industry. Always produce a trilogy. Indiana Jones has always been the 3 movies from 1981-1989. The 4th one doesn’t really need to be called Indiana Jones at all. It was there I felt, just like with Metal Gear Solid V, they were beating a DEAD RACE HORSE.
I can’t deny the talents on display for Metal Gear Solid - Ground Zeroes. It laid down some really cool foundations for the gameplay, but I still believe the better game-series for stealth was beaten by the likes of Splinter Cell and most recently Thief. Stealth in MGS has always felt a little bit childish and I only really enjoyed MGS 1, MGS 2, tried to play MGS 3 (still have it one my Vita!) and will try to finish it. MGS 3 has felt like the TRUE Zeroes experience, with the inception of the story and lore behind the cloning of Big Boss. MGS 4 finally brought it all to a great finale and I felt, there is NOTHING more to tell. MGS 1, 2 and 4 is the Trilogy, MGS 3 serves as the Prequel and I see nothing wrong with that.
Mission - Erase Kojima’s Legacy
The making of MGS V - The Phantom Pain is kinda true to it’s title. Can you feel the nostalgia? Or are we just imagining the sensation of a Metal Gear Solid game past it’s prime? The missing link? The missing limb? And with the worlds biggest cop-out  of everything that had to do with story was completely missing.
Each mission is playing out every time the same, with an intro to a TV-show, giving away massive spoilers to who would appear in the mission, you do your thing (not so much of story, just a “go-here, do that approach, sneak back out, head to pick-up) rinse and repeat. I wonder how much of this was Kojima’s fault? I don’t think he was up to it. I’m sure he fought for more story but the big heads didn’t want to listen to what makes a MGS game a MGS game. The new management had now already played the hand to disown the man who put Konami on the map for games since the mid 80s.
The game is no longer marketed like before. The tagline “A Hideo Kojima Game” no longer exists and will never be part of Konami’s mission of erasing the person who gave them their fame and the recognition that a game carrying the name Konami was a brand of quality for any gamer out there. Me myself, personally only played PES because of the stellar animations, but its recently since 2012, I stopped playing the series. FIFA had already cheapened itself, PES likewise. Updating the graphics, but the same old animations have been recycled back to the PES3 days. Maybe there’s been an update in the collision engine, but otherwise everything stayed the same, with the huge amount of data collected from previous years of motion-capture, why do it all over when its all about the brand recognition? Saving money on processes wherever possible. Simple Math. And here it is. MGS V is not a MGS game.
We already knew it was going to be a massive budget behind the game of MGS V. But what can Konami do to save money on MGS V? They already have the Fox Engine running from Ground Zeroes. The assets for “Snake” (I’ll let you know why I put quotation-marks around it) and standard models will extend somewhat. Oh, yes, let’s save money on a character that doesn’t speak (Quiet), over-sexualize the character to start a fan-base of people who just dig character design, animated a sexy “shower” routine for the character for boys to go nuts over. What about voice? Let’s not really try to sync the voices to the mouths. Let’s have the guy from “24″ record his performances onto tape-logs. Kiefer Sutherland would have been a good “Snake”, but I understand now that you are not “SNAKE”. The game explains pretty soon at the end that you are just a Medic and all the tapes you’ve been listening to is the original Big Boss. You never where the character of Snake. Even though this all could have been handled better, Konami wanted to save money wherever possible. We also knew David Hayter was not asked or put forward to return as “The Voice of Snake”. But in this case I start to wonder myself, David Hayter might have dodged the biggest bullet in the most expensive, commercial and very controversial game of all time once Konami decided to kill everything that built up their reputation.
Even during production Kojima managed to start working on PT. The game Konami “silenced” after it was released on the PS-store. Guillermo Del Toro and his friendship with Hideo Kojima’s dream-game was put on ice. All because Kojima was about to get frozen out of the company that was according to Konami “Wasting too much bloody money”. I might get blacklisted for saying this, but once the new management started to mess with the other IPs for just domestic/gambling market, that’s where everything went sideways. Konami wasn’t treating their heritage with respect.
It took them 7 years to realize their mistake! And now, for those who wants to be part of 3rd party developers who would get a crack at a new Castlevania, a new Metal Gear Solid (remake I hope), Konami has realized that the only way they will survive (Yeah, Metal Gear Solid Survive killed them HARD) is to let other’s take over. Maybe my dream of scoring a Metal Gear Solid game would be somewhat more possible now rather than working in the confined space of limitations posed by the higher ups at Konami. Let 3rd party developers breathe life into the IPs because I know there are smarter ways to tell a story and I would gladly like to see the return of David Hayter in the seat, without having to deal with the blank-face approach that he was faced with every time he had to audition for Snake in MGS 2, 3 and 4! David Hayter is a fantastic writer, actor and voice-actor. He has the chops and I think we are all ready for either a re-make or a better follow up to MGS 2 and the time between that one and MGS 4.

Scary Wrestling Stuff from My Childhood
Tumblr media
Every Halloween season, it’s not uncommon for wrestling fans to reminisce about the moments in our great sport that genuinely scared them, and I’m certainly no exception. At the end of the day, wrestling is still a fantasy world that’s seen plenty of dark, suspenseful, and even at times supernatural bullshit. In fact, one of its biggest stars is The Undertaker, who has been in turns a mortician, a zombie, a Satanic cult leader, a desert biker, and some strange hybrid of all those characters at once.
Truthfully, nothing in wrestling scares me anymore. Well, at least not in kayfabe. Real life still provides a lot of fright in and out of the ring. When I see a wrestler get legitimately injured in the ring, you bet I’m concerned. The depressingly common trend of premature wrestling deaths is a terrifying subject on its own. But when you’re a kid, where even the most ridiculous thing in wrestling can seem real, there’s a lot in kayfabe to be scared about, and you don’t even known what the hell the term “kayfabe” even means.
So, to get in the spirit of the spooky season, I’ll give you a quick rundown of some things that personally scared me shitless watching wrestling as a youngster:
Evil Doink the Clown: Doink is usually associated with everything wrong in WWF’s New Generation era⏤one-dimensional gimmickry, cheesy beyond belief, and worst of all, out of touch. But it’s a reputation that isn’t quite deserved. The original Doink character was that of an evil clown, brilliantly brought to life by Matt Borne. As someone who churned out many rewatches of WrestleMania IX as a child, which features the character at its peak, you better believe I was terrified of this wrestling clown with lime green hair. If evil Doink’s sudden mood swings and aggression weren’t unsettling enough, the entrance music is fucking horrifying to this day. Far scarier than Pennywise and the Joker could ever wish, complete with maniacal clown cackles. Yikes, yikes, yikes. It sounds like the soundtrack to a haunted carnival episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? on Nickelodeon. Given the rise of creepy clowns in recent pop culture, evil Doink would still get over now, and scare a whole new generation of kids to boot.
Kane, Circa ’97/‘98: Hear me out: the video package to Kane and The Undertaker’s clash at WrestleMania XIV is one of the best ever. The music, the footage, and even the random Michael Cole narration all flow together perfectly to create something goosebumpingly epic. But, damn, as kid? This was some terrifying shit. Considering I was too young to stay up and watch every episode of Raw in full, that package was like a highlight reel of pure horror. Kane has become known for taking part in some of the most infamous and illogical storylines in WWE history, but it’s often forgotten how effective a job was done to build him up as a monster upon his debut. Remember when he lit that random dude on fire on Raw? Holy fuck. Not even the Wicked Witch of the West setting fire to The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz shook me up quite like that. The eyes peeping out of his mask was, to me, the most frightening part of his appearance. Total nightmare fuel. Generations more familiar with bald, mask-less Kane could never quite know the trauma.
Papa Shango’s Sega Genesis Theme Music: Okay, this a fairly obscure one, but my brother and I would play WWF Royal Rumble on Sega Genesis back in the day. The game was complete with cute little 8-bit versions of each wrestler’s entrance themes. The Crush theme, in particular, is a minor masterpiece. The other piece of music that made an impact on me is the version of Papa Shango’s theme. I didn’t have too much footage of Papa Shango in my childhood wrestling VHS collection so he held some mythical status to me. The original theme is creepy enough, but the Genesis version really takes you to an dark, murky swamp where Shango is hexing his latest victim. It scared me so much that I’d speed ahead the character selection screen in the game so I wouldn’t have to hear it. You can scoff at me now all you want, but I must speak my truth.
Zeus and Randy Savage Attack Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake: If you’ve watched Survivor Series 1989, you may remember a segment where Mean Gene interviews Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake about their upcoming match at No Holds Barred. That’s not scary at all, but it’s what happens as the interview unfolds that, for whatever reason, really tore me up when I’d put my copy of this show in the VHS. Sensational Sherri crashes the interview, with the most wild-eyed glared you could imagine, shouting at Hogan and Beefcake in her dark, garish makeup. She then throws handfuls of powder in their eyes, allowing Zeus and Randy Savage to attack them. It’s so hard to describe what’s so scary about this. No Holds Barred, both the movie and the pay-per-view, were pretty notorious failures so it’s not even like it’s remembered as a major angle or anything. If anything, I gotta think it has something to do with the sudden tonal shift from a goofy babyface interview to an all-out assault, which can be pretty striking for any young viewer.
Mick Foley, Hell in the Cell: I don’t really need to say any more, do I? The Hell in the Cell match at King of The Ring 1998 is something that warrants a post of its own, as its undoubtedly one of my favorite matches of all time. But I cannot stress this enough: watching a human being do what Mick Foley does in this match, no matter how pre-planned, is some seriously distressing shit. As an adult, you realize you’re watching this man single-handedly take years off his career. But even in kayfabe, there’s true terror in watching the full extent of Mankind’s threshold reveal itself. The dude literally fucking smiles to the camera as he’s concussed and his mouth bloodied into steak tartar. If that image alone doesn’t stay with you, I don’t know what will. Mick Foley turns this match into a mini horror movie. Years before people tuned in droves to watch Saw and Hostel, they watched Mick Foley torture himself. In the match’s most chilling moments, he turns Mankind into a character like Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees⏤just when you think he’s been completely broken in half, he’s up and ready for more.
Early Undertaker: I can’t possibly go on without mentioning The Undertaker. When you really think about it, some of things I’ve mentioned already wouldn’t have been possible without him. It seems a little cliche to even bring him up for a topic like this, but he’s the OG of cheesy wrestling horror. Plus, it needs to be said: The Undertaker, in first couple years of his WWF career, could easily scare kids. It definitely scared the kids who grew up watching that version of the character, at least. I watched Survivor Series 1990 countless times growing up so, as you could imagine, I was one of the fortunate/unfortunate children. One of the more brilliant touches of The Undertaker’s early character, outside of the creepy glare and slow approach, was the various shots of mortified children in the crowd. It seems like a minor detail, but it went a long way in establishing him as a genuine monster. Not to mention, there were things the Undertaker did during that era that, even by the family-friendly standards of early ‘90s WWF, were pretty messed-up. How about that time he locked The Ultimate Warrior in a coffin? Or when he worked with Jake Roberts to terrorize Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth? Make no mistake, those first few years were critical in letting us know for whom the bell tolls.
And that about does it for my own personal horrors. Maybe you think mine are silly, but what about wrestling scared you growing up? Does it still scare you? Does it still give you nightmares? As you ponder, I’ll be looking over my shoulder, hoping I’m not attacked by Zeus.

IC INFORMATION —
CHARACTER DESIRED Aaron Khan DESCRIBE THE CHARACTER IN YOUR OWN WORDS If you told Aaron to turn out his pockets and show what he’s accomplished in life, you might see it as just empty hands, but to him, being a dealer is the only thing he’s ever been really good at. He’s got learning disabilities, dyslexia and ADHD, that prevented him from ever really settling into a normal life or doing well in school, but when it comes to weed, he’s a fucking prodigy. He can tell the weight of a bag just by looking at it or holding it, he can tell from the smell if product is good or not, and he knows how to spot an undercover cop at 100 yards. His greatest skill is in being able to read his customers. He can tell from the moment you approach him what strain you’re going to need, how much, and what you’re willing to pay. He’s friendly, never tries to force you to be his friend, and always stands by his product. If weed were legal, he might be paying taxes and living the good life at a cannabis dispensary. As it is, he’s the guy on everyone’s cell phone under “Aaron Green”. People usually assume when you say your home life was bad that someone was smacking you around or there was no food, maybe your parents were junkies or crackheads. But it doesn’t have to be that dramatic to be bad. Sometimes your family can just forget you exist. Aaron was one of eight kids and none of them ever really had a chance. He disappeared in among his siblings so that no one ever noticed when he never came home at night. His home was loud, but there was never any real love in it. His parents were immigrants who’d come to America as children and never gotten out of the ghetto neighbourhoods of Detroit. They never had enough money and worked all the time, and when they came home, they would just stare blankly at their children, as if to say, “are you still here?” Aaron doesn’t think they were ever even in love; certainly the photographs never show people who looked happy to be together. Sometimes he lets himself wonder if they were like him, with dreams that they could never achieve and a burning need to do something, and if they just got beaten down by life, but it’s not like he can ask anymore. Chicago was the farthest Aaron could get from Detroit on the money he’d saved up, and it seemed like a town that still had hope, while Detroit was just dying slowly around him. He had a cousin there whose couch he crashed on (Aaron has cousins everywhere, they come out of the woodwork whenever one of them needs somewhere to crash), and a few job possibilities lined up, but he’d get itchy if he got stuck working behind a counter or washing dishes or shifting mail around, needing more stimulation than entry-level jobs provided. If he’d had the money to do training in a trade or something, maybe he could’ve done something with his hands that kept him occupied, or trained to be a tech expert, since he loves video games and can play them for hours if need be. Instead, he asked his dealer if the guy could hook him up with a gig, and one thing led to another. Working for the Costellos is mildly terrifying at times, but it feeds that part of him that needs to move and stay active. He doesn’t deal anything too hard, just weed and some party drugs, and he’s a favourite of club kids and college students for the quality of his product and his innovations when it comes to packaging and branding. He’ll wake up in the middle of the night with a brilliant idea about a new line of edibles like peppermint chocolates for the on-the-go buyer who doesn’t want to overindulge, or flavoured strains of CBD oil laced with hash to give a smooth high without any paranoia, or making their own line of e-liquids for vapes (something he’s very into, do not get him started on the unfair legislation around vaping rights), and spend the next three days making it happen only to crash once his latest masterpiece is complete. He could probably survive without a roommate at this point (though he’d have to live somewhere shady to do so and he’s become a little too comfortable to move back to the hood), but he used the excuse of needing one to let Corinna into his life. She’s the first person he’s lived with that he doesn’t feel anything but uncomplicated affection for, and the idea of having friends that you’re not either also selling to or working for is new and interesting for him. He’s a genuinely nice person (more so when baked but also overall), and he’s always happy to share his groceries or just sit up with her and listen to her talk. He may even someday tell her about his family, though that remains a subject he doesn’t address.   WRITING SAMPLE “Hey, man-bun!” Aaron turned around by reflex, even though someone yelling anything at you out of the blue was, at best, 50/50 gonna be a shitty situation. “That’s what your mom called me last night. At least I think that’s what she was saying, there was a lotta moaning going o-” Aaron didn’t get to finish his sentence, the punch catching him straight in the jaw. He looked like he could handle himself in a fight, but his muscles were all for show. Staggering back, he checked to see if all his teeth were still there. That was one thing that hadn’t gone wrong yet. “You sold me bad shit, motherfucker! Gimme my money back, or I’m gonna end you!” If this had been back in Detroit, Aaron might have taken this conversation more seriously, especially because he’d just gotten punched in the face, but this was Chicago, and he worked for the Costellos. Some little trust fund baby wasn’t gonna roll up on him and try and get a fucking refund. “That’s a shame. You still got the stuff? I’ll trade it in for new shit.” They were outside a bar in Costello territory, and the guy squaring up at him looked like he rowed every day and ate ivy for a living. Sure, he was dressed like he was living that thug life, but c'mon, no one’s teeth were that straight in Chiraq. That was the problem with cities like this, everyone thought they could front. Nobody in the suburbs would’ve even bothered, they’d have probably said please and thank you, but out here, people watched too many movies and thought you had to act like an OG. His friend, cuz of course he had a friend, punks like this never tried anything when it was a fair fight, just stood slightly off to the side and switched between grinning and sneering. “Are you fucking stupid? Did you hear me? Gimme my fucking money now! You’re lucky I don’t call my boys down and fuck your shit up for giving me lousy stuff!” It had gotten to the point where Aaron wasn’t really a street dealer primarily anymore, he was the guy you called when you needed something. He did deliveries and hung out at parties and clubs. When you were selling a product people wanted, you didn’t have to pound the pavement to sell it. But he was doing another favour for Holden. Aaron always did favours for Holden, no matter how many times the other man asked. He couldn’t help it. And normally he could spot an asshole a mile off and choose to refuse service, but Holden needed his quota to stay up, so Aaron had been a little too liberal with his sales tonight. Figures he’d get punched on his night off. “Like I said, I can do a trade if you’re unhappy with the product, but this isn’t a Target, man. We don’t do refunds. So hand over the shit, and I’ll give you some primo Afghani Kush. I’ll even top up the bag free of charge, cuz I wanna preserve our relationship.” The kid wasn’t having any of it. “I already smoked it and it did jackshit! I’m not even high! We even mixed it with some coke and it did fucking nothing!” Oh boy. So on top of assholes, they were idiots too. “You can’t mix it with coke, man. That just ruins both highs. If you’d said you’d wanted something to blend with uppers, I coulda-” Aaron was prevented in continuing with his sales pitch when the kid pulled out a gun. The fucking sikik seemed to think he could draw down in public. Granted, it was a shit neighbourhood, but it was still a Neighbourhood. “C'mon guy, this is a bad move. You really wanna think this one through, you know?” This whole evening was really turning into a bummer. If he got shot by this at hırsızı, he’d never live it down. And he didn’t have health insurance. The kid’s gun didn’t waver, and his friend had pulled a piece too. Awesome. “You coulda just given me the money, now I’m gonna take everything, and I’m gonna kick your ass too, you piece of shit fag-” The conversation ended abruptly with a squealing of tires and bright lights. Aaron jumped out of the way, rolling across the sidewalk and dragging himself up when there wasn’t immediate gunfire. The kid and his friend were now lying in the road groaning in front of a red Ford pickup. The door opened and Holden got out, looking at Aaron with bewilderment. “What the hell happened?” Stumbling forward, Aaron had the sense to kick the guns away from the two kids as he limped over to the truck’s passenger side. “Just a difference of opinion, don’t worry about it. But I’m thinking we talk about moving you to somewhere a little more high-class. This neighbourhood is going to shit.” As Holden slammed into the car and peeled away, the neighbourhood returned to normal, like it had never happened. It was Chicago, weirder things happened every day. Aaron leaned his head against the glass and dug a joint out of his pocket, inserting it between his lips and expertly lighting it with his lucky Zippo. “Don’t smoke that in the car, you’ll make it reek in here.” Laughing, Aaron rolled down the window. “You’re the weirdest dealer I know, man. C'mon, night’s still young, let’s hit Lake Forest and make some money off the preps out there.” Holden, shaking his head, took the turnoff and headed for the suburb. “You ever take anything seriously, cabron?” Aaron winked. “Not unless I can’t avoid it, kaşar.”

Ryukishi07′s Q&A at Animecon in Finland
Full Q&A video:
Part 1: https://youtu.be/DBQe_zsF-tk
Part 2: https://youtu.be/WOh-MWhv4UE
Translation under the cut:
Part 1:
Interviewer: Could you start out with explaining how your career started and how the circle 07th Expansion was born?
Ryukishi07: It’s a very boring story, but I just thought about what I wanted to do with my life and simply decided to try what I wanted to do, and this is what happened!
I: Your career started in doujinshi circuits. What’s it like making games for an audience similar to Comiket?
R: I did work for an audience similar to Comiket happening in August and it’s been very stressful but also rewarding.
I: Wasn’t there another happening in December as well?
R: For the happening in August there’s a lot of time to do work to prepare, but for the happening in December there’s only 4 months to prepare which makes it harder.
I: Could you tell us how your masterpiece Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was born?
R: I got an idea from the American movie The Blair Witch Project and thought it’d be fun to make a Japanese version of the movie’s scenario.
I: Higurashi is told through many stories that raise questions about the plot, questions which are then answered in the later games. Where did the idea for constructing the plot like this come from?
R: By drinking Coca-Cola, you get a lot of ideas! *laughter*
I: Which character is your favourite in Higurashi?
R: It depends a lot on when you ask the question because it changes for me all the time, but at the moment it’s Satoko Hojo.
I: 07th Expansion’s games are described as sound novels, where the world of sound plays an important role. How does this affect the writing?
R: For example, you can hear sound in an anime. I wanted to combine anime, manga and visual novels and create my own coherent ”chain”.
I: Your games have been released for various consoles. PC, Playstation, and Nintendo DS. Do you have a favourite console?
R: At the moment it’s either Playstation 4 or Nintendo Switch.
I: The When They Cry series later became very popular and was made into manga, anime and even movie adaptions. How does this popularity feel?
R: I’m very grateful for all the support that I get from everyone.
I: Was it possible to imagine, when making the first Higurashi, that it would ever become this popular?
R: In my dreams I thought it’d be amazing to become that popular, but of course it was still a surprise.
I: Nowadays a lot of visual novels use shocking and horror elements. Do you feel like Higurashi was a ”trendsetter” in that regard?
R: I feel like works like that existed before as well, I don’t feel like a ”trendsetter”. I’m an especially big fan of Kamaitachi no Yoru, it was an inspiration for me because it was also connected to horror, so I wanted to a work with horror as well. It was presumed that sound novels were mostly based on horror, but nowadays you can find a lot of cute girls in them as well. But even these cute girls can be horrifying! *laughter*
I: After the Higurashi series, there was Umineko no Naku Koro ni. What inspired you to write it?
R: I wanted to make a more Western-based story, since I previously made a story based on Japanese country life.
I: Did you have to do any background research for writing Umineko?
R: I went to a small island where there was believed to be a ghost. Of course there was no ghost but I tried to capture the feeling from that island, but since there wasn’t actually a ghost there I had to come up with some white lies in my work. *laughter* It was challenging, since there wasn’t actually anything on that island.
I: What motivated you to show clearer answers in the Umineko manga?
R: Because as the final release, I thought it would make it special.
I: In Umineko there is a character named Yasu, whose persona and feelings are presented to the reader indirectly through the stories she has written. How was the process of creating this character?
R: From the start, I had considered a character who was a criminal, but then felt like that would be too extra, and so I ended up with a character like Yasu.
I: There are apparently plans for a new episode of Umineko, could you tell us about this?
R: There will be a new character, who will be revealed soon, so be prepared for that.
I: There is also a new When They Cry game in the works, could you tell us more about this?
 Part 2:
R: It will be more international this time, and there might even be a Finnish character!
I: Higurashi refers to cicadas, while Umineko refers to seagulls. Do you already know what the next When They Cry series will refer to?
R: I haven’t decided yet, but I want it to have the same theme, like being connected to plants and rain. It’s still in the works, please wait and be excited.
I: Do you know if the new part will be released in English?
R: If someone is ready to translate, then absolutely. My English abilities aren’t enough for this.
I: What’s your opinion on the games being translated to English and gaining an international audience?
R: I’m very thankful and appreciate that people have been able and wanted to translate my works. I see a lot of appreciation for the translators and they’ve definitely had a lot to work with.
I: You’ve previously worked with Key Studio on their game Rewrite. Rewrite’s art director Itaru Hinoue also visited Finland this year. When working on Rewrite, did the two of you get to work together?
R: Yes, it was our first time working together.
I: Who are your favourite characters from the game Trianthology?
R: There are a lot of characters, but Alice is my favourite.
I: A game called Iwaihime is also in the works. Could you tell us about this?
R: I was asked for a horror work and I decided that since there are primarily two types of horror in Japan, creepy horror and horror that focuses on monsters, I wanted to bring these two types of horror out in the finished work.
I: Video games are very popular today, perhaps more than ever before. How well do you think visual novels are surviving in the video game genre?
R: I hope that it could become as big of a thing as novels, anime and manga, and I think it has a chance, but at the moment smart phone games are more popular in Japan, which makes me a bit sad but I’m still hopeful.
I: Which work you’ve written are you most satisfied with?
R: A very hard question... *laughter* It’s always the one I’ve most recently released that I’m the most satisfied with.
I: How do you stay motivated when writing?
R: At the moment I’m very motivated simply because work is work, but previously my motivation was that I played war video games on the Xbox and when I lost, it made me so angry that I wanted to work! *laughter*
I: You said that your most recent work is always the one you’re most happy with. If you could go back and change something about an earlier work like Higurashi or Umineko, would you change anything?
R: I gave it my all, so there’s nothing I would like to change. If I changed something, that would make it an entirely different story. A lot of people ask me about going back 10 years in time, but 10 years back in time would mean that the pages would be empty, there wouldn’t be any text yet, which would probably mean playing a lot of games!
I: What other hobbies do you have beside playing war video games?
R: All kinds of killing games!
I: What’s your favourite anime?
R: Girls und Panzer.
I: What’s your favourite game?
R: Even though I like war video games, I also like zombie video games.
I: What’s the best thing about your work?
R: The state of flow, when you’re so focused on your work that you forget to eat and even to go to the bathroom.
I: When you write a story, how do you come up with the characters? Do you get any inspiration from other characters or real people?
R: I want to connect older characters to newer characters, it’s very important to me to make that connection. But sometimes when playing games I just see a character that I think is cute and it gives me inspiration.
I: Have you ever thought about adding your old characters in a new game, like for example having the characters from Higurashi in a new story?
R: Inside my head, these characters are my friends, but now that the work on that story is done, these characters are gone. But if I had to work with the same story, the characters would probably return back into my head.
I: What advice do you have to aspiring writers and visual novel creators?
R: Seriously or not seriously? It’s important to think of your own style. If you want to make it your job, it’s very important to know what your own thing is. There are three different styles: liking money, wanting praise from other people, and just liking writing. So if you like writing, but also like getting money from it, that’s very good! You should consider, even though there are people who write and write and write without making money, money is still a big motivation. And even though you like getting money, you should also want to write because you enjoy it, that’s more important.
I: What kind of stories do you like writing the most?
R: Of course it’s fun to think about women with big boobs, but it’s also fun to think about environmental issues... *laughter*
I: You’re mostly known for writing games, but would you ever want to try making an anime?
R: I don’t think I’m good enough at drawing for creating it, but if someone else would do that I would be very proud and happy.
I: Our interview is coming to a close. Is there still anything you would like to tell the audience?
R: I want to complain about how warm Finland is, I had heard about how cold Finland is and only brought long-sleeved shirts, and then I got here and it was sultry and far too warm, so I would like to say that nobody told me Finland would be warm!

Underrated BTS Songs (but ironically are the best)
So I've decided to put together a "small" list of BTS songs that I think are so underrated. I'm not really sure how many are gonna be on here, but I'm gonna try and put them all with little annotations as well. While I was writing, I realised that all of these songs don't have music videos and shit, which might be why they're so underrated. I also noticed they mostly come mid album and after, but still get a LOT of love. Anywho, enjoy~ 1 - Dead Leaves So, Dead Leaves is my ultimate favourite BTS song. However, I think the reason for it being so underrated (which it is in newer armies) is the fact that it's the very last song before the outro in TMBMiL: pt 2. I really feel that this song had the potential to be a title song, but being at the end meant it was overshadowed by other songs such as Silver Spoon. Even so, many older armies will tell you it's one of their favourite songs. It just does something to us. (I think another reason has something to do with the fan war over plagiarism of this and They Never Know. Despite Dead Leaves having another level of brilliance, I think fans just stayed away to keep away from the drama) 2 - I Like it Another one of my absolute favourites. I Like it is on their first album, and is one of our first looks at slow, more-pop-than-hip-hop BTS. It's a gorgeous song, which I really think the vocal line just slaaayyy at doing. But it's definitely underrated, seeing as many fans wanted a hip hop BTS, not more of a singing pop BTS. 3 - Circle Room Cypher This outro is BEYOND underrated. Not only is it the first BTS cypher, it also features every member having a little go over at rapping over another member's beat boxing. It's great. And if you watch a lyric video, the lyrics are actually pretty funny. It's a great outro, and I'm really upset that I only discovered it a few months ago. It's by far an amazing song which deserves more than it gets. 4 - If I Ruled the World Any song that starts with V's deep vocals is a good song. And If I Ruled the World is a very good song. It's old school BTS, on the O! R U L8 2 album. It's fun, quirky and has this weird (but cool) machine-y noise in the background, kinda like in EXO's Playboy. It's such a great song but I don't hear it often and I don't hear people talking about it often either. 5 - Tomorrow Tomorrow holds a very special place in my heart, and many other army's hearts. But that doesn't stop it from being so underrated. Part of the Skool Luv Affair album, it takes a different route from Attack of Bangtan and Jump. It's slow, with a loud beat, layered vocals and amazing rapping from our beloved rap line. It's lyrics are just amazing, ensuring you it's okay to give up but only until tomorrow when you can try again. Since it's in an older album, though, many newer armies don't get to listen to it's beauty for quite some time. 6 - Triptych (Cypher Pt 2) I LOVE TRIPTYCH. It's an amazing cypher by the boys, kicking off with J-Hope rapping (which is unusual., but we love it). Mony has a massive rapping section entirely in English which I may or may not be able to do... and Suga as usual kills it. But this doesn't stop it from being one of the most underrated BTS tracks ever. When Killer and Pt 4 came out, it was overshadowed and of course, forgotten, but if you haven't heard it, go and check it out. It will not disappoint. 7 - Hip Hop Phile I love Dark&Wild. It's my favourite BTS album, with probably the most underrated songs ever. And we'll start with Hip Hop Phile. This song is amazing. It's a song dedicated to the love of Hip Hop that each member holds. Our rap line have great flows as usual and the over song had a very dark feeling to it. It fits right in with the overall theme of the album, but I feel it definitely doesn't get enough love. 8 - Rain Rain, originally to be called Seoul Rain, is a beautiful song. It definitely does justice in being a more slow song on such a hyped album, and is easily a favourite if you finding yourself struggling to sleep in the night, it's a go to song simply for it being so calming. Definitely go and listen if you haven't all ready. 9 - Could You Turn Off Your Cell Phone? This song tackles a pandemic sweeping across the world without us knowing. The anti-social pandemic caused by cellphones (or as us Brits call 'em, mobile phones). The song is about putting our phones away for just 5 minutes to have an actual conversation with people, and that our boys are SICK of seeing people mindlessly using them to get likes on social media. But it doesn't get talked about a lot. Not sure why, but I'm guessing because of the album it's on (sadly). It hits hard to anyone who listens but it's such a fun, kinda bouncy song that will have you pressing repeat a gajillion times. 10 - Look Here THIS. SONG. IS. FUCKING. AMAZING. Easily one of my favourites for having this very summery, light hearted theme. When I listen, I imagine a beach party somewhere hot with people dancing along to BTS singing on stage. It definitely has this kind of tropical island party theme with guitars which I just adore. The bridge is literally Jimin making sex puns and the whole song is about them being into you and wanting to make you theirs so "이기 봐". However, every song on D&W is overshadowed by Killer... so yeah... 11 - Does That Make Sense? my favourite outro of all time is easily D&W's Does That Make Sense. It will make you body roll. It has such a beautiful beat and the music atop of that is slow, sensual and it all comes together with the vocal lines amazing voices. Jimin especially. There's also a part with Mony's voice all deep and kinda distorted and it honestly makes the song so much better. Howveer, Again, because it's on the wrong album (D&W being sooo underrated) it just didn't get much attention. I really can't explain the song so I'll just have to let you go listen if you haven't. (It's great it reminds me of my holiday to Whitby where I first heard it and it shocked me sm. it was and still is a gorgeous song. I really wish they'd made a full version with the rap line. That would've been e v e r y t h i n g). (Also Jimin's high notes at the end slayed me) 12 - Move This. Fucking. Song. If you haven't heard Move, go listen to it right now. Also knowing as Moving On, it's slow and sweet (which I think is why it's underrated - because it's so slow compared to other songs in the album). The lyrics are about simply moving houses and letting go of the memories there, though with Spotify translating it as Moving On, I got confused and thought it was about moving on from a relationship. Lol nope. In the right moment, it can actually make you cry, so just be weary. Overall, it is a brilliant song and takes a two back from Run and Dope with a slow, steady beat. 13 - Whalien 52 This song is MY song (lmao). It's simply about being on your own and they use the metaphor of a whale which is a solo creature to describe how they're feeling. If you don't take the lyrics literally and have a little knowledge on whales, the lyrics are easy to understand. I'm not really sure why it's underrated. It just is which is honestly so upsetting. The music itself is so gorgeous. It fits right in with the message that the song is trying to portray and I really do think that everything in this song just works. It's definitely worth listening to. 14 - Silver Spoon Silver Spoon is one of those BTS songs that once you listen to, you love (like all of them). It's old school BTS, though you can still hear their newer style. The rap line kill it as usual and with the vocal line coming in strong with the chorus, its overall a great song. The only thing that makes it even better is the dance practice. You know, where your precious lil Yoongi twerks. Seriously, the song is amazing especially if you're into rap. The beat on this song is amazing - it's really strong and at the same time blends in really well. However, no matter how much praise it gets, I strongly believe it's underrated. It doesn't get as much love as what it should do. Still, only Min Yoongi can write a masterpiece like Silver Spoon. 15 - House of Cards Or more appropriately named 50 Shades of BTS. This song takes sexy to a whole new level. I don't care who you are, if you don't body roll to this song, there's something desperately wrong. House of Cards is phenomenal. Featuring only the vocal line, it finished TMBMiL: pt 2 off right. With a piano, violin and great beat, you can't help but drown in the beautiful, sexy vibes of this song. Again, this song just doesn't get love. I think because of how slow it is, but ask any older army and they'll tell you House of Cards is one of their faves. 16 - Hold Me Tight Hold Me Tight is yet another masterpiece. Pianos and vocals. The song features this beautiful piano at the beginning which is gorgeous and transforms into this beautiful beat, with Mony's beautiful rough, whispering raps taking off. You know exactly which vocals I'm on about. The rapping overall is softer than usual, with Hobi starting off with this kinda singing kinda talking with will actually take your breath away. Suga actually sings a little and my heart dies a tiny bit every time. It's so out of the normal for BTS, seeing as the rappers are more singing than rapping, but it only adds to the song and makes it even more perfect. Fans definitely need to listen to it, since it doesn't get a lot of love. 17 - I Need U (Remix) Okay, don't kill me but I actually prefer this remix to the original. It just has this more electric, EDM-y feeling to it which is simply stunning. However, I think fans are just skeptical of remixes. Y'all shouldn't be scared this remix kills it. They've even performed it live, for fucks sake. That's when you know it's good. If you haven't yet listened, off you go. You won't regret it. 18 - First Love Whatever Min Suga produces, it should be loved and for some stupid fucking reason, First Love isn't loved! First Love is Yoongi talking about a piano. His first piano. It's a beautiful song once you get round the lyrics. And yes, it's slow, it's different to Begin and Lie. But it's fucking beautiful and if you skip it on Spotify, you're missing out. Just because it isn't normal Min Suga like ducking Tony Montana and him boasting about making you cum with his tongue technology, it doesn't mean it's a bad song. In fact, I think it's even better because it shows Yoongi can have variety. APPRECIATE IT! 19 - Reflection Okay, Mony as well?! Reflection is one of my favourite solos simply because of its slow, beautiful beat. The lyrics at the end "I wish I could love myself" hit hard to home and you know you can count on Namjoon to make you feel the feels. His rapping is flawless and he even sings a bit which only enhances the song. It's perfect and fans overlook it so much. Even though they shouldn't. 20 - Am I Wrong I have no idea how to explain this song apart from "Cowboy EDM". This song takes some cowboy-esque music and some lyrics from another singer and makes it into the song we know (and should love). Trust Yoongi to come out with something so western and yet so modern. I love it. The guitars, the beat, the drop, the vocals, the rap. It's all great. But it again, gets overlooked because it's different. Believe it or not, this song is great. It deserves all the love.

Jaehee Hates Glasses!
A complicated One-Shot I wrote that just went all over the place! Sorry if it is long, but I think it is worth the read! Enjoy~!
Pairing:
Jaehee x MC
Disclaimer: I do not own Mystic Messenger nor their characters (OCs & OOCness is definitely mines though~)
‘I…didn’t really hate glasses when I was forced to wear them. It was a uniform; I needed it to get the job, end of story. I got used to them and that was that…Of course, I did not realize…that I was unhappy at the time as well…so now that I have found happiness…these thoughts occurred. Turns out...I really hate glasses.’

“This is great~ So enjoyable~” Zen hummed blissfully, enjoying a warm drink in his hand. “Seriously Zen…you’ve been making weird noises at that drink for a while now…” the blond known as Yoosung frowned, sitting across from the good looking male. “Zen’s seriously in love with that drink~” The red haired hero dubbed 707 chuckled.
“Can’t help it, Jaehee has made me another masterpiece~” Zen grinned at the longhaired brunette behind the counter. “I’m glad you think so~” Jaehee beamed. “No need to butter her up anymore, she already named a drink after you…” Seven pouted, Yoosung nodded in agreement. “Don’t be so childish, I’m Semi-famous and Jaehee said I deserved it~” Zen grinned smugly, ‘And she’s your biggest fan…’ the two males thought.
“Ignoring the Narcissist…where’s MC, Jaehee?” Yoosung looked to the bright brunette. “Ah…she texted me earlier that she was going to be late but that she will still come in…that something had come up…” Jaehee’s eyebrows furrowed. “No way, is she ok?” Yoosung asked worriedly, “She informed me that she is alright, but I can’t help but worry too…” Jaehee frowned.
“Don’t be such a Mama bird Jaehee, MC probably went out partying and woke up with a hangover~” Seven chimed, munching on a cookie. “MC would never do such a thing, she is not immature like you.” Jaehee glared at Seven. “Sheesh…I was only guessing…” Seven looked away awkwardly.
“Jaehee, why don’t you just ask MC to come live with you?” Zen suddenly said, “Huh?” Jaehee blinked. “That came out of nowhere Zen, why?” Jaehee asked confused.
“It's just a thought. I mean, like today, you always worry about her. Last week you called me because you sent MC out to buy some ingredients and you were afraid she would get lost.” Zen recalled, “The grocery store is down the street.” Zen pointed, making Jaehee sweat. “Oh~! You made me track her phone when MC took a nap in the park after reading and forgot to call you~!” Seven grinned as Jaehee was sweating even more.
“MC came to play video games at my place…and Jaehee came too and just sat behind us, staring at us playing…It was creepy…feeling Jaehee’s eyes one my back…it was like was being watched over by a ghost!” Yoosung paled, Jaehee looked away in embarrassment. “G-Getting to know MC these last few months…I realized that I have to protect her!” Jaehee tried to regain her confidence.
“I-If I don’t…wh-what if she gets kidnapped or attacked, and I am not there to save her!” Jaehee tried to explain, looking panicked. “But the way you’re acting, it's kind of out of control…” Zen pointed out. “But is it not necessary? The only reason she met us was because she followed the word of a stranger over the phone!” Jaehee recalled, ‘There’s no arguing that!’ The three knew she was right.
“But being possessive, overprotective, and plain stalking her? You’re almost bad as Jumin~!” Luciel snickered. “…A-as bad as…M-Mr. Han…!?” Jaehee flinched, “Dude…that’s a low blow…” Zen sighed. “It's true though~ Everything Jaehee is doing is like how Jumin is with Elizabeth the 3rd~ MC is Jaehee’s pet~” Seven began to laugh, Yoosung could not rebuttal that since it is kind of true.
“Ignoring Seven…”
KICK!
“Ow! Leg!” Seven yelped, suddenly being kicked under the table by the actor. “You should calm down a bit, it might be your first time with a female friend, but you could scare MC like that.” Zen explained, trying to calm Jaehee. “I…I do not want to scare her…” Jaehee nodded, “If MC is in danger in any way, she’ll tell you, since you’re friends.” Zen smiled.
“…You are right. Of course.” Jaehee nodded, “I will be sure to keep a distance and be less protective, for MC’s sake.” Jaehee smiled. “That’s good…” Zen smiled tiredly. ‘I do not want to lose her…she means everything to me…it's fine…MC is safe.’ Jaehee breathed calmly.
DING~!
“Welcome~” Jaehee smiled at the door for a customer to come in. “S-Sorry I’m late…” Mumbled the soft and familiar voice of MC. “Ah, MC, how are…huh?” Jaehee and the males looked to the door, only to remain speechless at the sight. “…” MC was fidgeting at the entrance of the café, “Q-Quit staring…I’m getting nervous…” MC frowned.
“Oh~!” Seven ran up to MC, getting super close and causing MC to squeak in surprise. “You’re wearing glasses~!” Luciel grinned, “Y-Yeah…” MC muttered, her face red. On her face was a slim framed round glasses, it gave of a very mature and beautiful image to the female.
“Wh-why are you…” Jaehee began, MC looked to her friend and sighed. “She wanted to look as stunning as me~!” Luciel posed dramatically, “Uh...no…” MC gently pushed Seven aside and walked forward.
“Y’see…it started from three chatrooms’ ago…when Seven and Yoosung started talking about that Zombie series…um…the Dead are Walking? S-So…I watched one episode last night…and I was curious of how the story continued…and I kept watching and watching…and was way too emotionally invested that I stayed up…all night…” MC shrunk, feeling like a child about to be punished. ‘I don’t know whether to scold her or hug her…why is she so cute…’ Jaehee sighed, blushing lightly.
“I went to sleep late, but when I woke up…everything was kind of blurry and…I couldn’t see so well…so I went to the eye doctor and they gave me these glasses, and said I have to wear them for the next few days…” MC explained. “So it's your fault…” Zen and Jaehee glared at Seven, “Me!? What about Yoosung!?” Seven huffed.
“Still…” Yoosung walked over to MC, ignoring the glares. “…?” MC blinked, watching Yoosung as he stared at her. “You look extra cute in those~” Yoosung smiled, blushing slightly. “Y-You think so?” MC blushed, not expecting the compliment. “Mhmm~ So cute~” Yoosung nodded, “Thank goodness…I was afraid I looked horrible~” MC sighed in relief.
“You look sexy~!” Seven thumbed up, “Shut it.” Zen walked over and elbowed Seven in the rib. “Ow! Why am I the only one getting hit!?” Seven cried. “You do look good, a pretty lady just got way prettier~” Zen ignored Seven and smiled at the smaller brunette. “Thanks~” MC smiled, “I’m so glad I don’t look bad…” MC hummed.
“What do you think, Jaehee~?” Yoosung asked, the group looked to the taller brunette. “…Huh?” Jaehee blinked, “Were you paying attention? We’re hogging your cute employee~” Seven said, “I asked if you think MC looks good in the glasses?” Yoosung crossed his arms. “…” MC waited patiently, looking hopeful. MC’s eyes glittered expectantly, Jaehee had no choice but to answer.
“O-Oh yeah, she looks really…great.” Jaehee smiled awkwardly, which was obvious to Seven and Zen. “Yay~ I’m happy to hear that~” MC beamed, “That’s good~” Yoosung grinned. The two oblivious ones did not notice Jaehee’s discomfort, of course. “A-Anyway, get ready MC, we have to open soon.” Jaehee said, “R-Right!” MC ran off to the back.
BEEP!
“Hm? Ah! I have to get to the office! Jumin’s throwing a fit!” Yoosung ran out the shop after looking at his phone. “Poor guy~” 707 hummed. “You alright, Jaehee?” Zen asked, “Hm? I’m fine, just great~” Jaehee smiled.
‘This is awful…’
‘I was right...this is awful…’ Jaehee looked bitter, almost as bitter as the brew she was currently making. “I’m coming~ Please wait~” MC was racing from one table to the next, delivering drinks to each and every table.
It would look like business as usual, but in Jaehee’s eyes, not so much. The patronage in her establishment were mostly men, and they were all gawking at MC. The younger brunette’s hair was tied up in a high ponytail and her glasses were very apparent. Everytime she smiled, a man would swoon. ‘Before, there was only a few guys who would watch MC, which was normal since she is pretty.’ Jaehee thought, ‘But just because of her glasses she has the attention of the entire store? Ridiculous…’ Jaehee was frowning tightly. “...” Jaehee watched MC worked, the smaller brunette would smiled and speak so easily to the customer, not even once faltering.
‘...Makes sense that she can speak with others so simply...she was able to persuade lots of people to come to the RFA party…’ Jaehee thought. The light from outside bounced off MC’s hair, she looked radiant. ‘...Why does she look prettier than usual...it can’t be because of the glasses…’ Jaehee felt really angered, her dark vibe was nearly spilling out to the customers. ‘I’ve never hated glasses until now...why is this happening…?’ Jaehee was still frowning, her heart was tightening. She was so unfocused, she messed up the coffee she was making. “Oh no…” Jaehee muttered, she looked around to get more beans, but she could not find any.
“...MC, mind going to the back and getting me another bag of beans?” Jaehee called. “Hm? Alright~” MC smiled and rushed off to the back. “Right...oh, we’re out of tea too...might as well go too…” Jaehee sighed and headed to the back as well. She walked over to a box labeled with tea, she grabbed the box but then stopped when she heard a yelp. “Gah!” Jaehee looked to the farther back, putting down the box and walking over. “MC-wah!” Jaehee turned the corner and stumbled when a large bag nearly topple over her. “MC?” Jaehee held one side of the bag, “Sorry, sorry, I slipped…” MC apologized, holding the other side of the bag. “If you were gonna have trouble with this, you could have asked…” Jaehee’s eyebrows furrowed. “B-but I can-ah!” MC nearly stumbled with the bag again. “Let's put this down first…” Jaehee suggested, MC nodded and they slowly put it down. “That's too heavy for you alone, I’ll help you carry it out…” Jaehee stretched her arms. “No!” Jaehee flinched, surprised to suddenly get yelled at by MC. “I-I mean...I-I can do it by myself…” MC muttered. “...MC...you can ask me for help...we’re partners after all…” Jaehee said, MC looked away from Jaehee. “...Did I do something to offend you…?” Jaehee asked, she looked calm but internally she was in a panic. “Huh? No way! I-I just want to be able to help you without worrying you!” MC flailed.
“...You’ve had a frown on all day...I thought maybe I made you mad because I was so childish…and hurt my eyes watching TV so late at night...” MC looked away, pouting and blushing. “...” Jaehee blinked, “Pff-hahahaha~” Jaehee laughed, covering her mouth. “Jaehee…?” MC blinked, ‘How is it she looks mature in those glasses, but still manages to be so cute~!’ Jaehee stifled her laughs. “I’m not one to judge for watching TV so late at night, remember?” Jaehee smiled, “O-Oh yeah! It was worrying when I would see bags around your eyes from watching Zen’s movies all night~ I thought you were a raccoon~” MC laughed, remembering “Raccoon” Jaehee.
“So don’t worry about it, I just want you to get better and to rely on me.” Jaehee reached out and put a strand of MC’s hair behind her ear and then held her cheek. “We’re partners...please rely on me…” Jaehee smiled kindly. “Uh!” MC’s cheeks immediately heated up, she was blushing extremely hard. “MC?” Jaehee felt the sudden heat from the younger female’s cheek, “R-right! I-I-I’ll rely on you! B-b-but I’m fine! I swear! I-I’ll get going now!” MC immediately picked up the coffee bag and rushed past Jaehee before the taller brunette could stop her. “Ah…” Jaehee just stood there, dumbfounded. “...” Jaehee looked to her hand, ‘What happened…?’ Jaehee began to turn red. ‘My heart...is beating too fast…’
“He yelled at me non-stop…I didn’t even do much…” Yoosung sulked, “That sounds hilarious, wish I was there~” Seven snickered. “You’re not helping! I hope Jaehee or MC brews me something relaxing for my lunch break…” Yoosung grumbled as he and the hacker entered the café.
“Yeah…oh…um…” The two stopped in their tracks, seeing a lot of suits in the café. “…Is there a conference or convention going on right now?” Seven asked, “Not that I know of…Jumin doesn’t have anything planned…” Yoosung looked around. “Jaehee!” Seven walked up to the counter with Yoosung trailing behind him. Jaehee was making a brewing some coffee.
“We weren’t gone for long, where’d all these businessmen come from?” Seven asked. “A-ah…well…I did not think such an effect would work…but…” Jaehee pointed at one of the tables, the boys looked over. “Will you like anything else, sir~?” MC smiled kindly at a businessman, her hair tied up in a high ponytail and her glasses very apparent.
“N-nothing else, thank you...”
“You sure? We have muffins and other pastries to go with your drink~” MC smile almost brightened, the businessman blushed harshly.
“A-A muffin…”
“Alright, I will be right back with your order~” MC hummed, walking off from the love-struck man.
“No way…are all these men here for MC?” Yoosung looked around, and sure enough, they were all watching MC as discreetly as they could. “She was outside handing out fliers…and she caught a whole bunch of them…” Jaehee said, not looking too excited. “Isn’t that a good thing? More business is good, right?” Yoosung tilted his head. “I-Its great…b-but-”
“The fact that they’re here for MC doesn’t help…does it?” Seven said bluntly. “…” Jaehee frowned, not denying it.
“But why-”
“Since Jaehee promised to be less protective, she can’t really say anything~” Seven hummed. “Jaehee, you have nothing to worry about, MC is in front of you and is fine~ Nothing bad is happening~” Seven grinned. Jaehee sighed, knowing Seven is right, “You may be right-”
“Eh? What am I doing after work?”
“…!?” The three RFA members quickly looked to their party coordinator speaking to a gentleman, who was furiously blushing. “Um, I was planning on going home and watching this show I have been interested in.” MC innocently replied, not knowing the male had much more impure intentions. “Why? Do you need something…go out?” MC was confused by what the guy was saying to her. “MC! Would you please come to the front!” Jaehee suddenly yelled, startling the smaller brunette. “Y-Yes Ma’am!” MC excused herself and ran to Jaehee. “Wh-Whats wrong?” MC asked in a panic, “We ran out of sweeteners, please go buy more at the store~” Jaehee smiled, “R-Right now?” MC blinked. “Right now.” Jaehee said strictly, still smiling though. “O-Ok…” MC was a little afraid of Jaehee.
“H-Hi guys…bye guys…” MC waved at 707 and Yoosung and left. “…Was that really necessary…?” Seven looked to Jaehee, “...” Jaehee frowned, not looking at Seven. “Jaehee, acting all distant won’t get MC to understand, you have to talk to her.” Seven sighed, Yoosung was confused, not really understanding what they were talking about. “...If you two are going to order, then please tell me now, we are packed.” Jaehee said sternly, ignoring Seven’s remark, and startling Yoosung. “U-Um! Th-the usual for us please! R-Right Seven!?” Yoosung said, feeling Jaehee’s menacing aura. “...Yeah...sure…” Seven still stared at Jaehee, not letting up. “...Then...that will be an hour wait, please be sure to stay nearby~” Jaehee smiled, “What!?” Yoosung yelled.
“Jaehee you can’t be serious-!”
“Seung Gil~ Your drink is ready~” Jaehee walked away. “My break is only for 20 minutes!” Yoosung sulked, Seven sighed and patted Yoosung’s back. “It's alright buddy, we’ll just go to McRonald’s like we used to~” Seven hummed, pushing the empty shell known as Yoosung towards the door. “...” Seven looked back at Jaehee one more time before they left, ‘You really should be more honest…’ Seven sighed and walked out.
“Ah~! The day is finally over~!” MC stretched her arms upwards. “We can finally relax, Jaehee~” MC turned and grinned at Jaehee behind the counter, counting the money in the cash register. “...Jaehee?” MC called, the taller brunette was still too focused on counting. “...?” MC walked over, she stood directly in front of the counter, “Jaehee~!” MC spoke up loudly, “Ah!” Jaehee flinched, dropping all the money. “Oh no, sorry Jaehee!” MC panicked, “Its fine, its fine.” Jaehee calmed the younger girl.
“I was lost in my own world and was not paying attention to you, my apologies.” Jaehee smiled tiredly and began to pick up the money. “...You’ve been spacing out a lot today…” MC’s eyebrows furrowed. “I know you thought I didn’t notice but...I saw you walk into a wall five times today...that was really worrying…” MC recalled the awkward moments of Jaehee smashing her face against the wall, and then smiling reassuringly with a nosebleed. “You scared some customers like that…” Jaehee knew what MC was saying is true, and she felt just as embarrassed as she did earlier.
“What’s wrong~?” MC leaned over the counter, propping herself up with her elbows. “You can talk to me if you’re stressed or have an issue, that's what friends are for~” MC smiled at Jaehee. “...” Jaehee stared at MC, she felt like a fool. She was acting strange all day because of MC’s new look and sudden new attention, and decided to just pretend to be fine, which only worried her friend more. Along with the fact that Jaehee herself was turning red every once in awhile when she saw MC smile, did not help.
‘I was so used to being the only one to noticed how cute MC is...besides the RFA members...I never imagined men that I didn’t know would notice as well…’ Jaehee thought with a frown. Since Jaehee never had a female companion before, she had no idea how to act when someone becomes interested in her friend. Should she protect her or encourage her? It was hard, if she tried to protect her, then maybe MC would find Jaehee overbearing. But she does not know if MC is even interested in dating.
‘Wait…’ Jaehee suddenly realized something, in these few months she has gotten to know MC, she never once heard her speak about having a relationship. More so, MC did not even talk about it during their first meeting. MC would ask how her day was, and comforted her, and wished for Jaehee’s happiness. But she never said she had an interest in a relationship. Is it not Jaehee’s job to assist MC in getting a boyfriend? As a friend? But, just the thought of MC getting a boyfriend irks the Ex-chief assistant. Why is that? Is it because that would mean MC would spend less time with Jaehee and more time with her boyfriend?
‘Ah...jealousy...that's what this is…’ Jaehee came to that conclusion. Of course, that is why she is having a hard time with all the sudden attention on MC. She is afraid that MC and herself will hang out less, of course!
That is clearly wrong…
“Jaehee~!” The taller brunette was startled again but finally sorted the money in her hand, she looked to the new glasses wearer. “You were spacing out again...especially when I was talking with you…” MC pouted, a little frustrated. ‘...So cute~!’ Jaehee blushed, she coughed to calm herself and put the money away.
“I’m really sorry...I’m just having a hard time thinking straight and I guess my thoughts aren’t in order…” Jaehee tried to explain, “Is that so...well, when you know what you want to talk about, I’ll be right here waiting~” MC grinned. “...Thank you…”Jaehee smiled warmly, her heart skipping a beat at MC’s sweet smile. “But, on the bright side, we earned a lot today compared to any other day~!” MC cheered, “Yes indeed, after counting it, I can make the assumption you are correct.” Jaehee nodded. “I’m not sure what the cause is, but this is good~!” MC hummed. ‘It is obvious why...but I’ll just keep the reason to myself for now…’ Jaehee thought.
“And~! I made a bunch of tips~! It was great~!” MC pulled out a bunch of money from her apron pocket and showed it to Jaehee. “A-Amazing! That's the most I’ve seen you ever get!” Jaehee was taken aback, “Right~? I guess my courteous service was 100% today~!” MC beamed. ‘She’s talking like Seven...which means she’s getting too hyper…’ Jaehee smiled tiredly. “With this, we can definitely buy that new espresso machine you’ve been wanting~!” MC said, “Huh? MC, this is your money that you earned, shouldn’t you spend it on something you like?” Jaehee blinked.
“It's fine, I want to help you after all~” MC hummed, “You do not need to worry so much on that, the one we have is fine.” Jaehee said. “B-but…” MC tried to convince Jaehee, “It's alright, I’ll be able to save up for it soon enough~ Just get something you want~” Jaehee smiled and reached over, petting MC’s head.
“Now, what do you want?” Jaehee asked curiously, “Um, hmm...I want…” MC began to think. “Oh! I know!” Jaehee smiled, waiting for MC’s response. “I want to get the Espresso machine that will make Jaehee happy~” MC smiled cutely, “...!” Jaehee froze, she pulled her hand away. “...!” Jaehee blushed madly and covered her face. It should be illegal for a person to be this cute!
“Th-That...um…!” Jaehee was in a jumble, her eyes spinning and her face heating up. “Hm?” MC tilted her head, unaware what she did to Jaehee. “...” Jaehee frowned, she really wanted to say thank you, and to tell MC how much she means to her. She really, really wanted to be honest to MC, her heart was screaming at her to do so right now! “MC...thank-”
“What’s this?” Jaehee did not get to finish, as she watched MC’s attention turn to a piece of paper in between her tips. “A business card? I think one of my tippers accidentally gave me their business card~” MC laughed, finding it funny. However, Jaehee was not amused, she could see on the back of the business card, a small note and phone number, clearly asking MC to call for a date. “I’m curious who it belongs to~? Maybe Jumin knows them~?” MC began to read the card. But the card was suddenly snatched from hands.
“What the-!?” MC flinched, surprised. MC looked to Jaehee, who had snatched the card from her. “Jaehee?” MC was confused, “...!” Jaehee realized what she had done and looked equally as surprised. “...Sorry...I just think since it was a mistake, might as well throw it away~” Jaehee smiled, clearly not believable. “...Well, I’ll throw it away...but I kinda want to read it…” MC reached out for the card but Jaehee pulled it away. “...Jaehee.” MC kept reaching for the card, but Jaehee would not let up.
“Jaehee, what gives? Give it back.” MC frowned, a little frustrated Jaehee was doing this. “...Its nothing.” Jaehee said, “If it's nothing, give it back.” MC retorted. “...No.” Jaehee replied, “What do you mean no? It's not yours.” MC’s temper was rising. “And it's neither yours, so leave it be.” Jaehee was getting a bit irritated as well. Why was Jaehee acting like this? The taller brunette knows she’s acting suspicious and childish, but she does not want MC to read this card. And she still does not know why!
“...!” MC was angry now, “Jaehee-”
“I will not discuss this further,” Jaehee turned to toss it into the trash. “Hey!” MC yelled, running around the counter and reaching for the card. Jaehee was startled by MC rushing at her and pulled her hand away quickly. Big mistake.
CRASH!
“Ouch…!” Jaehee groaned, she had fallen on her back. She sat up and flinched a little, the back of her right hand hurt. “...?” Jaehee looked to her right hand, she had landed on her hand and it was hurting a lot. “Owie~!” MC held her head, a bruise forming on her forehead. “M-MC!” Jaehee rushed forward, checking MC for any serious injuries. “Are you okay!?” Jaehee panicked, “Head hurts...but my limbs are still attached…” MC whimpered. “...” The two were silent for a few minutes, MC stared at the ground with her expression shadowed.
“MC...let me check-” MC pulled away from Jaehee’s outstretched hand. “...I don’t get it…” MC muttered, Jaehee stopped, the sweet voice she had always heard was gone. “I don’t get you...you always act so distant...and I understood that it would take time for you to open up...but…” MC’s voice trembled, “MC…” Jaehee muttered. “I can’t read your mind! I can’t know what's wrong if you don’t tell me!” Jaehee froze, MC’s eyes were filled with tears.
“MC...I-I didn’t mean to-”
“If you have a problem with me, if you can’t talk to me, if you don’t trust me...then why am I still here…?” MC sobbed, her tears streaming down her face. “I-I do trust you!” Jaehee was in a panic, her stomach felt like it dropped and her throat had dried up, it was getting hard to breathe. “...J-Just...just leave me alone!” MC stood up and ran out the shop. “MC!” Jaehee called out, but MC was already gone. “N-no…” Jaehee stepped forward.
CRACK!
“...” Jaehee looked down, she had stepped on MC’s glasses and they had broken.
‘...I messed uo again...’
“Hmm~ Hmm~” A silver haired male, dubbed the “Handsome man” Zen hummed as he walked towards his fridge. He grabbed a beer and took one huge gulp and sighed in ecstasy. “Nothing better than having a beer right after a shower~” Zen grinned, taking another sip whilst drying his hair.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
“Ptttthhhh!” Zen spit out his drink in surprised, “Cough! Cough! Who-Cough! Is it!?” Zen coughed harshly, a little pissed at being startled by the loud banging at his door. “...MC…” mutter the quiet voice of the small brunette. “MC?” Zen blinked, he looked down and realized he was not presentable in only his undergarments. “Give me a sec!” Zen rushed to put a shirt and sweatpants on and then ran back to the door.
“Ahem, good evening, Miss M...C?” Zen opened the door and was surprised to see a crying girl at his door. “Z-Zen…!” MC sniffled, “Wh-whats wrong? What happened? Why’s there a bruise on your head!?” Zen panicked, suddenly very protective and worried about the brunette. But none of his questions were answered since the brunette hugged the silver head tightly and began to sob in his shirt. “Waaaaaahhh~!” MC cried, “E-eh?” Zen was seriously lost.
After a while, MC had calmed down and sat on Zen’s couch. The actor had given her a warm drink and had tended to the bruise on her head, putting a large bandage over it. Somehow Zen had gotten the gist of MC’s sob story during all her crying, so guess he has to figure out how to comfort her.
“So...basically you and Jaehee had gotten into a fight...over a piece of paper…?” Zen blinked, “...I know...it sounds stupid no matter who says it…” MC admitted. ‘Yeah it does…’ Zen sighed internally, the beginning of the argument sounds dumb, but he knows the deep reason the fight started.
“Out of curiosity...how’d you find my place? I thought you couldn’t see?” Zen asked, “W-well...after I ran out, I started wandering...I couldn’t find my way home since everything was blurry, so I immediately got lost…” MC sulked, Zen seriously worried for this girl. ‘Jaehee’s original worry for her getting lost wasn’t wrong I guess…’ Zen huffed. “I remembered that you lived nearby the shop so I kept walking and found the truck that sells fish bread and immediately found your home...I was lucky...or else I would just be wandering still…” MC said. ‘Is all she going to remember about my place is the fish bread truck…?’ Zen began to sweat.
“Ahem, anyway, how about going to make up with Jaehee, huh? I’ll walk you back.” Zen suggested, “N-no!” Zen blinked at the sudden outburst. “...Sorry...but...I can’t talk to Jaehee right now…” MC stared at her lap, not looking up. “...” Zen waited patiently for MC to explain herself. “...I humiliated myself by fighting with Jaehee...I acted like a child...and I’m so embarrassed...but I didn’t know what to do…” MC began, “I knew that Jaehee was the type to take all the burden and troubles she ever faced by herself...and never tell others. But I wanted to share some of that with her...yet...even now she still won’t tell me when she is troubled…” MC frowned. “If I go back now...I won’t know what to say...because I don’t know why she got mad too…” MC’s voice began to break.
“I got mad...because all day she would phase out or avoid talking to me...and when I asked what was wrong she’d tell me not to worry and walk away...it hurt...that she didn’t trust me…!” MC muttered. “And so...my anger kind of...built up...and I exploded...like an idiot…” MC wiped her eyes, trying to stop her tears. “...” Zen watched MC, he closed his eyes and sighed. ‘These two might actually kill me...two innocent girls who don’t get it...guess I’m going to have to set it straight…’ Zen patted MC’s head, petting her to soothe her.
“MC...you’re not an idiot…” Zen began, “...” MC looked up, small tears in her eyes. “You’re an oblivious idiot~” Zen smiled, “...Huh!?” MC felt like she was stabbed by Zen’s insult. “Where’d that come from!?” MC yelled, “Just giving some perspective~” Zen hummed. “...If the sweet talking, girl-friendly Zen is calling me an idiot...am I doomed…!?” MC was pale, she looked completely terrified. “Hey, hey, calm down.” Zen tried to bring her back to reality.
“I’m not insulting you, I’m trying to help…” Zen explained, “Help?” MC tilted her head. “Yes, help...I need you to understand something. You and Jaehee have blown this thing way out of proportion.” Zen said, MC was confused. “Guess I have to point out more...I heard from Seven that the shop was super full today, after we left in the morning...that true?” Zen asked, “Y-Yeah…?” MC nodded questionably.
“It was after you arrived, right?” “Uh-huh…” “So…?”
“...So what…?”
MC was seriously not getting it, “...you know...you and Yoosung might be on the same level of obliviousness…” Zen said. “Am I that bad!?” MC felt stabbed by Zen’s insult. “MC!” Zen grabbed MC’s shoulders, startling her.
“All those businessmen came to see you!” Zen straightforwardly said. “...Eh?” MC took a moment to process what the handsome male said. “...EH!?” MC yelled, finally getting what Zen said. “Wh-why me!?” MC yelled in confusion, “Glasses.” Zen explained. “Glasses?” MC repeated. “Listen, everyone in RFA knows how cute your are...but not many people outside take the time to notice...those glasses seriously put a sign up for people to notice.” Zen explained, “...N-no wonder people kept asking me what I was doing after work…” MC muttered.
“Yeah...pretty much.” Zen nodded, “Then...what does this have to do with Jaehee…?” MC asked. “...W-well…” Zen looked away, ‘Can’t say the entire truth…’ Zen thought. “...Jaehee’s first real female friend is you.” Zen said, MC nodded, trying to follow along. “Since you are her first, doesn’t that mean she would want to help and protect her precious friend?” Zen looked to MC, “...She...was worried for me?” MC crossed her arms.
“Worried...and scared.”
“Scared?” “Yeah...if you suddenly got a boyfriend...most of your free time would go to the guy, wouldn’t it? Less time with Jaehee...of course she’d be scared you would leave her.” Zen tried to explain. “...” MC looked down, taking all this information in. ‘It's the best way I can say that without telling the truth...but if this pressures her to not get a relationship, Jaehee might get really sad…’ Zen thought, hoping MC does not take what he is saying the wrong way.
“That would never happen.” Zen blinked, looking to MC. “I would never stop spending time with Jaehee.” MC said, “...You say that, but you don’t know the future.” Zen pointed out. “No, I know for a fact I won’t do it!” MC looked to Zen, he was surprised to see the confidence in her eyes. “...The truth is...I was asked out before.” MC said, “Huh? You were? When?” Zen asked.
“A week after we opened the shop.”
“Huh!? Why didn’t you say anything!?” Zen yelled in surprised, “Because...I had not thought it was important...until now…” MC explained. “He had said I looked cute and that if we could hang out once in awhile…” MC recalled, “...I guess I was a bit cruel because I flat out denied any chance of a romantic relationship with him then and there.” MC said. “Whoa, that's cold!” Zen paled, “I know! I know! But when I rejected him, I just felt like I had to be honest!” MC flailed, trying her hardest to explain. “You see...I said…”
“I’m sorry...I can’t go out with you...or even spend time with you. I...had just started this shop with someone important to me...and I want to dedicate every moment I have with her and this shop.”
“...” Zen watched MC’s cheeks turn red, and he realized it right then. He was wrong. “You’re not oblivious…” MC looked to him slowly, “...You’re in love.” Zen saw MC blush harder. “Ah...I’m such an idiot...I should’ve realized that…” Zen smiled tiredly, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I try hard to hide it...so it's not your fault…” MC was still flushed red, “...then...as someone in love...why can’t you go make up with her?” Zen looked back to MC. “B-but I can’t-”
“MC.” The brunette stiffened, feeling like she was getting scolded like a child.
“Think about it like this, for us lonely guys who do not have anyone, how about attaining that love we all want.”
“...” MC stayed silent, seeing the wishful expression on the actor’s face. “MC...you have to tell the truth...or else you’ll regret it...say it for the first time…” Zen said. “...!” Tears filled MC’s eyes, she hiccuped as she began to cry. “...” Zen smiled softly, petting MC’s head gently.
“Hic...sniffle...Zen...Hic…!”
“Yes…?”
“...I love her…”
“...pant...pant…!” Jaehee panted heavily as she ran down the sidewalk, looking around everywhere. ‘This is not good!’ Jaehee was in a panic. MC is wandering about, not able to see a thing, anything horrible could happen to her. Kidnapping, getting robbed or attacked, getting hit by a-Jaehee did not want to finish that thought. She already called Luciel, who thought she was just in a panic again. But one threat of using him for judo practice sent him working.
‘I...shouldn’t have kept things to myself...I made MC insecure and sad...this all my fault…!’ Jaehee’s eyes began to sting. ‘If...if something happens to her...I won’t ever be able to forgive myself…!’ Jaehee’s vision began to blur.
‘MC!’
“Jaehee!”
“...!” Jaehee quickly looked up, she saw the small brunette before her. “M...MC…!” Jaehee rushed forward, MC ran forward as well, the two hugging without a chance to speak. “I’m so glad you’re okay…!” Jaehee tears began to fall, “I’m so sorry Jaehee…!” MC was crying as well. The two did not let go for a second, as if pulling away would make the other disappear from sight.
“Girls~”
“...?” Jaehee blinked, looking up and seeing a awkward smiling Zen. “Zen?” Jaehee tilted her head, “was I unnoticeable for once?” Zen laughed. “What are you doing here?” Jaehee asked, “Ah! Zen helped me find my way back!” MC pulled away slightly to look at Jaehee.
“Really? Thank you, sorry for causing trouble.” Jaehee looked to Zen. “Nah, it's fine, plus, Seven kind of called me saying you were crying hysterically for MC so I had to rush her back~” Zen smiled. “I...am seriously sorry…” Jaehee blushed in embarrassment. “Really, it's ok, I like saving the day like this, it makes up for the fact that I lost~” Zen hummed, “Lost?” the two girls were confused.
“Don’t mind what I said, just go ahead and make up~” Zen waved off. “...” Jaehee looked to the sniffling MC then to Zen. “I’m really sorry for bothering, but I will be taking MC back,” Jaehee said, “...I see, alright then, be careful you two.” Zen smiled, turning to leave. “Thank you very much.” Jaehee said, then pulled MC along. “Um, bye Zen!” MC called and was dragged away by Jaehee.
“...” Zen looked up to the night sky, seeing some stars despite the city lights. “...How unlucky...I have to watch the stars all alone…” Zen muttered, “But if she’s happy...then it's fine…” Zen continued his way home.
The whole walk back was silent, instead of heading towards the cafe, MC was taken to Jaehee’s home. Guess Jaehee already locked up for the night. MC’s been there a few times, but she’s never stayed over, mostly because it makes Jaehee nervous. After walking through the front door, MC timidly walked into Jaehee’s home, nervous after all. They are obviously going to talk about what happened today, which is terrifying. Thinking about it, the entire day was eventful, it was like the first eleven days she met Jaehee. Those were both exciting and stressful times. Back to now, MC twiddle her fingers, there was nothing but silence, so she tried to start a conversation. “So...your home is still spotless Jaehee, it's amazing how you always-!” MC turned around and was suddenly hugged by Jaehee.
“...do it…” MC muttered, feeling Jaehee’s arms around her, she blushed. “...Um…” MC quieted down, not sure what to say at that moment. “...I’m sorry MC…” Jaehee whispered, “Huh? S-sorry?” MC repeated in confusion. “I hurt you...made you cry...made you feel alone…” Jaehee said quietly, “...” MC listened, not saying a word. “We’re together all the time...yet I did not know I made you feel so alone…” Jaehee tightened her hug a bit. “I-I’m so...sorry…” Jaehee trembled slightly.
“...Jaehee…” MC raised hand to rub Jaehee’s back to relax her. “For what I said earlier...you don’t have to take it to heart...I was just frustrated…” MC said, ‘It's fine...if I keep these feelings to myself...to not burden Jaehee...sorry Zen...guess I’m not that strong…’ MC smiled sadly.
“MC!”
“...!?” MC flinched, feeling Jaehee grabbed MC’s shoulders and pulled her away slightly and stared straight into her eyes. “Everything you say and will ever say is important, I will always be serious and take it to heart!” Jaehee looked completely serious and stoic, making MC’s heart beat faster.
“B-but its not a big deal-”
“MC...every word you’ve ever said to me...spoken or written...has always had a major effect on me.” MC stopped talking, watching Jaehee. “From the moment we met in that chatroom...to now...everything you ever said to me...I always took it to heart.” Jaehee closed her eyes. “You changed everything in my life for the better by just talking to me...I found happiness because of you...I...have never been more happy in my life then now…” Jaehee squeezed MC’s shoulder slightly.
“So...no matter if you say it happily or angrily...your words will always be imprinted on me...that is my one desire.” Jaehee opened her eyes, they were filled with absolute love and devotion. Jaehee’s expression was the most honest it has ever been today, she was willing to suffer and be happy for MC.
“...” MC’s eyes could not take much more, they were still red and puffy from crying so much, but she seriously could not get a break. Tears just did not dry up for her. MC’s vision was already blurry, but it became more so with the tears filling them. Her entire face was red up to her ears, she cannot take much more. “Anything you say MC…” Jaehee wiped some of her tears away, “I will always listen...and keep your words in my heart…” Jaehee whispered, smiling kindly.
“...Jaehee…!”
“Yes?”
“...Sniffle...I love you…!” MC choked on her sobs, trying to stop her tears. “...” Jaehee’s eyes widen. “Love...me…?” Jaehee repeated, her expression hidden. “Not...hic...as my friend...not...as..hic...my best friend...not...as...my...sniffle...family…!” MC hiccupped. “I love Jaehee as Jaehee…!” MC was in such a fluster, her words were in a jumble.
“I’m sorry...for being like this...Jaehee!” MC tried using her fists to wipe her tears. “...” Jaehee grabbed MC’s wrists, pulling them away from her face. “...?” MC looked up to Jaehee in confusion, not sure what the taller female was feeling. And then, MC’s mind went blank, her mind just processed one thought.
‘Soft…’
Jaehee lips were on MC’s, much to her surprise. “...!” MC’s face was just getting redder and redder. After a second, MC awkwardly leaned in, but as soon as she relaxed Jaehee had pulled away. “...” The two panted quietly, silence taking over again. MC looked away in embarrassment, not entirely sure what this meant.
“...If…” MC looked back to Jaehee, “If I...told you...that I loved you...as well…” MC was surprised to see Jaehee blushing so harshly. The warmth almost radiating from Jaehee’s cheeks. “Would you...be completely mines…?” Jaehee muttered, “...completely...yours…?” MC mumbled. “...Yes...I’ve never been...I rarely could...be selfish...and wish for things...it is why it took me so long to find this happiness…” Jaehee said. “But...if this  would be the only selfish...and possessive request of mine...for the rest of my life…” Jaehee looked to MC. “Would you...please be mine…?” Jaehee asked in embarrassment, but with as much love in her words as she could say. “...Of course!” MC hugged Jaehee, holding onto her for dear life.
“If Jaehee asks, I’ll give you anything! My love, my life, my hopes, my dreams!” MC cried. “Life!? Dreams!? Isn’t that a bit much!?” Jaehee panicked at MC’s exaggeration. “No, it's not!” MC denied and looked up at Jaehee, “Jaehee is my life and my dream now! I’m happy like this!” MC said with full honesty, her eyes glazed with love. “...!” Jaehee’s heart skipped a beat, it is dangerous for a person to be this cute.
“Then...MC is my life and dream too…!” Jaehee hugged MC back, pressing her forehead against MC’s. “Like this...we’ll always tell each other everything...we’ll be insecure together...scared together...happy together...always...together…!” Jaehee was about to cry, “Yes!” MC beamed. “I love you, Jaehee~!” MC grinned, Jaehee smiled with tears in her eyes.
“I love you too, MC…”
“Lonely guys club, day two!” Luciel cheered, “could you not say that…” Zen sulked. “But it's true…~!” Yoosung had his face down on the table. “We have to admit it or else we’ll be stuck in denial~!” Seven hummed, as if it did not matter even a little bit to him. “I keep getting more and more depressed...I need something to cheer me up…” Zen grumbled.
“Not beer, I hope.” Jaehee stood beside Zen, holding a tray of drinks. “Hm? No, of course not~ I meant your wonderful drinks~” Zen hummed, trying to brighten up, even a little. “Well, here they are.” Jaehee placed the tray down for the males to grab. “...Yup, that hit the spot~ I’m still sad but it helps to cope~” Zen hummed bitterly as he took another sip. “Sad? Why are you and Yoosung so depressing right now? The day has not even started yet, it's morning.” Jaehee crossed her arms.
“Jumin made me write five reports in one evening...four of which he said he didn’t need anymore and the last one barely passed…” Yoosung sulked, a dark cloud above him. “Harsh…” Zen paled, “Yeah, I remember doing something like that...he made me write six reports, organize three meetings, call several executives from different timezones and buy Elizabeth the 3rd’s new specially important Shampoo all in an evening.” Jaehee recalled bitterly, “Seriously...working for that jerk is brutal…” Zen shivered at the thought.
“It's fine though...I am happy now and I hold no ill will now~” Jaehee immediately brightened, a flowery aura around her. “How come…?” Yoosung looked up tiredly, “Ah...w-well…” Jaehee suddenly became shy and blushed. “...?” Yoosung was confused, “It's because she finally got herself a lover~” Luciel sang. “Eh!? Jaehee got a lover!” Yoosung shot up, “Don’t yell it…!” Jaehee glowered. “Sorry Ma’am!” Yoosung shrunk away.
“I-I didn’t know you had someone you were interested in Jaehee! I assumed you had no interest in love, like Jumin.” Yoosung said honestly. “Insult me like that again and I will kick you out…” Jaehee glared, “I-I didn’t mean that as an insult!” Yoosung panicked. “Hmph...I said I had no time for love, not that I had no interest…” Jaehee huffed, “But Jaehee has plenty of time for it now~” Seven snickered, the tall brunette blushed.
“W-well...that is…” Jaehee stuttered, “And she can enjoy that love practically 24/7~” Zen joined in the teasing. “Z-Zen!” Jaehee was flustered. “I don’t get it...who is it?” Oblivious Yoosung tilted his head.
“...Well, its-”
“Jaehee~!” MC suddenly hugged Jaehee from behind, startling the taller female. “MC? What is it?” Jaehee looked to the smaller female. “I manage to sell all of the morning pastry bread~ Praise me~” MC beamed as she pulled away, “You did? Thats amazing~” Jaehee smiled and pet MC’s head. The smaller brunette looked like a puppy, you could practically see her tail wagging as she leaned in to Jaehee’s hand.
“Since I sold all the pastries before noon, can I have a reward~?” MC hummed, “A-a reward?” Jaehee suddenly turned red. “Pretty please~” MC begged, “...A-Alright…” Jaehee mumbled. The taller brunette leaned forward and pecked MC on the cheek, making the young girl squeal happily. “Ah...look at that love…” Zen said depressingly, the flowery and heart filled aura bouncing out of his dulled expression.
“Its cute~” Seven snickered, “I almost thought I had to intervene when she wouldn’t admit her feelings~ But Zen beat me to the punch~” Seven grinned at Zen, earning a kick under the table. “When does the violence end!?” Seven whined, holding his leg. “...” Yoosung was staring at the girls, the gears were really too slow to catch up to the image before the blond.
“N-no way...Jaehee...and MC...are going out-mmph!”
“Eat a pastry.” Zen shoved coffee bread in Yoosung’s mouth, too annoyed to explain to Yoosung. “Cough! Nearly killed me!” Yoosung barely ate the bread. “Yoosung…” The blond looked up and flinched at Jaehee’s stern glare. “Is it a problem that MC and I have a relationship…?” Jaehee asked, her arms crossed as MC clinged to her. “N-No! I don’t have a problem! I-I was just surprised! I was expecting you guys to end up together!” Yoosung flailed.
“I think it's great you two ended up together...if either of you ended up with Zen, you guys would have low self esteem like me…” Yoosung sulked. “My looks are not the reason you get depressed easily…” Zen sighed, drinking his beverage. “Jumin won’t be happy…” Yoosung said, “That's true…” the others all agreed.
“Question!” The RFA members turned to their ever hyperhacker. “If Jaehee and MC get married, who ends up with Papa Jumin and who ends up with the two mommies~?” Seven asked, “What kind of question is that?” Jaehee raised an eyebrow. “Since I hate the jerk, I’ll go with the two mommies~” Zen played along, “Me too! Me too!” Yoosung flailed. “Don’t go along with it!” Jaehee scolded. “I don’t want to be scolded by Jaehee...but I also don’t want to be forgotten by Jumin…” Seven muttered. “But someone has to go with Jumin or he’ll get lonely~” Luciel said.
“Alright, Yoosung goes with Papa Jumin, and Zen and myself will go with our cute and pretty mommies~” Seven hummed. “Why do I get stuck with Papa Jumin! He’ll make me learn fancy people etiquette and give up LOLOL!” Yoosung cried. “How did it turn out like this…?” Jaehee sighed, “MC, ignore them…” Jaehee turned to the brunette still linked to her arm. “...MC…?” Jaehee blinked, seeing MC was trembled.
“M-M-M-Ma-Ma-Marry J-J-Ja-Jaehee!?” MC blushed super harshly, fumes almost literally blowing out of her ears. “J-just the thought! I-I can’t! T-t-too much!” MC stuttered harshly. “M-MC! Calm down! I-it's not that embarrassing!” Says Jaehee, but she was blushing hard now too. “I-I-I’m gonna go back to work!” MC pulled away and scurried off. “Ah…” Jaehee could only watch MC run away.
“...” Jaehee turned and glared at the males, the three shrunk in fear. “I-I didn’t do anything…!” Zen cried, “S-sorry Jaehee...didn’t mean to embarrass her…” Yoosung apologized. “...Sigh...it's fine…” Jaehee sighed, “I don’t have any reason to be mad actually…” Jaehee said. “You don’t?” Seven tilted his head, “Yeah...it just proves so much to me…” Jaehee explained, confusing the males. “That I can see MC fluster because of me…” Jaehee smiled, ‘she’s smug…’ the males could feel Jaehee’s smile radiating with confidence.
“M-moving on...um...can MC even see right now? I thought she needed the glasses for another few days…?” Yoosung asked. “Hm? Oh,that…” Jaehee blinked, “...I took her to the eye doctor earlier and asked for temporary contacts instead~” Jaehee hummed, ‘So possessive…!’ Yoosung and Zen began to sweat.
“Ah~ Lovey dovey couples all around~” Seven hummed. “No fair~!” Yoosung whined, Luciel just laughed at the blond. “Either way...if you’re happy Jaehee...then its fine.” Zen smiled warmly. “...Mmm.” Jaehee smiled back. “With MC…” Jaehee looked to the flustered brunette taking orders in embarrassment.
“...I’ll always be happy.”
