∘˚˳°｡☆The atmosphere is changing ∘˚˳°｡☆ Should I need to give an explication no, but still I want to do it. For me being an "artist" on ig is fun and gives me motivation to created new illustrations bc I get inspired mostly from different artist and random ideas come up but in order to get followers and likes you must to post everyday, this idea comes from other artist that I know and of course YouTube, the ugly true is I can't do that, bc I always want to capture the idea and recreated perfectly and that requires a lot of time :( so yesterday I wanted to keep posting even though the illustration wasn't finished and still, I posted it. I didn't like the colors I used for the illustration, so I archived the post. Now I'm posting this illustration that I actually like. Yes I should post often but I don't want to do it like that. This kind of pressure seems dumb but i wanted to share my thoughts. Is there a tutorial you watched that taught you how to do your colors and shading? It's gorgeous and I'm feeling like I need to step up my digital coloring game!

Thanks for liking what I do!There wasn’t a specific tutorial that I can remember teaching me. Just two decades of messing around in different illustration programs, trying to emulate my favorite artists, and studying airbrushing. One thing that I’ve never understood with tutorials are color scheme guides and methods of choosing your palette. I just pick the colors I think will work, lay ‘em down and adjust them afterwards. I’ll even make adjustments right before the image is “done”.I’m sure that doesn’t help much, sorry about that. In my experience it’s all about experimenting and loving one technique and then despising it the next day. Rinse and repeat. I personally don’t like using tutorials unless it’s for a very specific effect.
