I think Félix didn't want to snap Marinette out of existence not because she was making Adrien happy but because he saw her as an ordinary human who fell in love with a sentibeing. When he told her "they are monsters" he was talking about other regular people to her because he doesn't think of her as bad as the rest cuz she fell in love someone his kind and she's treating a sentibeing as her equal.

Felix’s character is pretty much demolished now

I remember the end of S4 and how I was super hyped to have Felix as a rogue holder with an extreme selfishness but something about him getting with Kagami is so random and out of character to me?

They barely met and he literally kidnapped her…

For some reason I think I just had a super fanon idea of Felix in my head… one where he was super mature and didn’t care for human relation outside of his family - and especially wanted Gabriel’s downfall.

So why in the actual shit did he basically hand all the Miraculous to him?

If Felix’s main goal is to gain freedom for the Sentimonster’s (assuming the Kagami senti theory is true), why would he enable their abuser?

Felix was supposed to be a villain. They made him assault Marinette, get rid of the Miraculous, and lie and lie and lie. So why now are they getting him with Kagami and trying to make him likeable?

Choose one!

Also… on the topic of that theory. It is so fucking weird how they made Felix call the sentimonsters his siblings… if Kagami is a senti… and he’s dating her… *skull emoji*

Rings are the key to the sentimonster plot.

Here there be major spoilers, up through Emotion.

Gabriel Agreste sure does love rings. Not only does he wear one of the Twin Rings to control Adrien, but he turned all the Miraculouses into fourteen rings that he wears as Monarch, and now he's selling the Alliance Rings to all of Paris as his means for transmitting the Miraculous powers.

And this wouldn't be the first time he's used rings as part of a scheme. Now that the sentimonster theory is unequivocally canon, we've seen that it stretches far beyond just Adrien and Félix: the Diamonds' Dance indicated that Kagami, Chloé, Zoé, and even XY are sentimonsters too. And what do their parents have in common?

Granted, Tomoe doesn't wear a ring. But Kagami does, and…well, Tomoe did insist to Gabriel that she doesn't need to control her daughter.

I think it's obvious what I'm suggesting here. It's already pretty overt that all the rich people at the Diamonds' Dance had sentimonster children. So it's not a stretch to assume that all their amoks are in rings. Adrien's amok is in the twin rings, as is Felix's. Chloé's is in Audrey's ring, as is Zoé's. XY's is in Bob's ring. And then Kagami's is in her own ring.

That last part is the biggest hole in this, because Kagami's ring was her akumatized object as Riposte, meaning Ladybug had to break it to free the akuma. Maybe the amok wasn't broken because the ring had been transformed into a sword by the akuma, or maybe this is just a plot hole. Or maybe I'm wrong about this—I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Félix Fathom's Character & Personality

Félix changed when his father passed away, meaning he wasn't always mischievous. Due to this, he doesn't get along well with others and lacks social skills. Félix is rude, sneaky and quite pushy. This is especially the case when it comes to getting what he desires as he's willing to negotiate with villains and put others in danger. Despite these negative traits, Félix genuinely cares for his family and is selfless towards those he cares about. Eventually, he doesn't change much, except he becomes a much more heroic person who's less villainous and somewhat rebellious. Félix is also quite stubborn. More than anything, he's sneaky, selfish and lacks culpability or concern for others as long as he gets what he wants. These traits indicate he isn't above, nor has any hesitance or remorse, in committing criminal acts or endangering innocent lives if it'll advance his agenda.

Not sure if you mentioned it before, but are you keeping the sentimonster plot for Adrien, Kagami and Felix? Or is it a spoiler?

I haven't actually mentioned that yet! And no, it's not a spoiler as the short answer is: nope! They're all humans!

The long answer: as I said before, Miraculous cannot be broken as a Kwami can simply move to a different jewel and even if they didn't nothing would happen to the wielder (the only thing that would happen is they couldn't transform and the Kwami's connection to the mortal plane would be very weak)

Because of this, even if someone created the SentiTrio, they wouldn't have gotten sick and so if I had kept them as Sentis, I still would have had to come up with a new plot for Emilie's "disappearance" and Colt's unexplained death anyway, so this was just overall easier

It also helps that I was never really a fan of the "Adrien and Kagami are ALSO Sentimonsters" reveal because it was never even hinted at until they randomly decided to do it for season 5 (I wouldn't have minded if it was just Félix as he was planned to be one from his debut but making it the three of them felt like lazy writing)

But thanks for the question! And to those who love the SentiTrio, I hope them being human in my rewrite doesn't dissuade you from tuning in!

So, I watched the episode Emotion from Miraculous Ladybug and Félix is just extremely confusing to me???

i am so so so so so obsessed with Félix allowing himself to just absolutely lose it, go on a little villain arc of retribution, sing a little ditty, and snap people away into puffs of magic. that's how sentibeing are killed, that's how gabriel has threatened to kill him before, and he wanted to pay it forward. it was pretty poetic. and the difference was, that while sentimonsters really die and are completely erased, he didn't actually kill anyone. he could recall them at any time, they didn't feel any pain, and, even though he thought he wanted to keep it that way, he felt horrified at the thought that he couldn't reverse it. and then the ending, where he realized he had to do the very same thing that he was punishing everyone else for......... wow

So I’ll be changing a few bc I kinda just feel like it!

Monkey - Sundance: Huge buff/invincibility. So the holder can basically be almost invincible for about 30 seconds, like an adrenaline rush/shot. But a downside is increased impulsivity, so the holder will be hard to control while in that state.

Dragon - Perfection: Creates a small ball of light that eventually explodes and creates a large shockwave blast, like a bomb. The location of the ball creates heavy storms all around it, with it at the center. Yknow Kamehameha from dragon ball? Yeah, that, but it’s super small and won’t destroy a whole planet, only like a part of Paris AHDKWHSK

Horse - Temporal: Kind of like a mist-step, you can become spirit-like and move through walls, the air, and anything else, kind of like the wind in a sense.

Pig - Passion: Creates an intense bond between the holder and their target. Can be used on akumas, sentimonsters, or any animal. This bond can be used to control the target or support/uplift them. Definitely not permanent, only lasts a few minutes. It won’t break an akuma from being under the butterfly’s control, so it would be used more as a distraction. (When under Passion, they don’t become completely immobile/defenseless. They just feel as though they share a bond with the holder. It’s easier to use this on sentimonsters rather than akumas!)

Ox- Resistance: Creates a horned exoskeleton around the user! Like a protective armor that is also much bigger. It can be subject to breaking though.

I also wanted to change the Goat and Rooster Kwami, but I have little to no ideas atm so maybe if I do a redesign of them I’ll include it!!

And all the Kwamis will appear!! Not everyone will have a miraculous in the au timeline like in the show, only probably Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Chloé, Zoé, Nino, Félix, and MAYBE Kagami. They will have miraculous but never use them (in Season 3).
