I like the idea of Nathalie marrying Amelie after Gabriel's death and becoming Félix's strict stepmom. Félix would probably resent her for breaking up the codependent thing he's going going on with his mom AND bc she was a former Peacock miraculous user down bad for his shitty uncle of all people. Blech. They'd spend months waging psychological warfare on each other. (Nathalie tries to be nice but Félix won't allow it. It's constant evenly matched fighting that Amelie pretends not to notice....lol...

It's never going to happen in canon, but Season 5's finale set up the perfect villain arc for Marinette.

After everything goes down, Marinette still can't get used to the idea of peace. Gabriel's statue haunts her, all her friends seem to betray her with their happiness.

So she takes Adrien's Amok and wears it, at first to reassure herself that Adrien is safe. Then, because she doesn't think it's too much of an ethical violation – "Adrien loves me already" – she starts giving him little commands that curtails him to her. Marinette notices that this means that Adrien spends less time with other people and does what she wants, and this gives her a rush of exhilaration as she is seduced by the intoxication of control.

She's doing the right thing, as the leader, as the only sensible person who knows that this serenity is not going to last, the best defence is an offence. So, she starts restricting the Miraculous, the Kwami, re-writing the rules of the Guardianship – eventually leading to her becoming a despot of Paris.

No one can stand up to her. Chat Noir is indisposed (no one knows where he is), the civilian population is, of course, helpless against Ladybug's might, and if Su-Han achieved the rank of a Celestial Guardian, it's pretty clear that any other Celestial Guardian dispatched against Ladybug will crumble before her.

This leads to Félix becoming a vigilante, the only Holder of the Miracle Box who never trusted her Miraculous with Marinette in the first place. He teams up with Lila and Chloé, both of them who bears an agenda against Ladybug. They're not battling her for virtuous reasons, but because they're her only serious opponents, thus they gain the support and love of the city.

Realising quickly that Adrien is her emotion crutch and that lifting him from Marinette's control will cause her sanity to spiral (BIG plus: Félix wants to free his cousin from another human who tries to shackle him to their hand), their first major success is wrestling Adrien's Amok from Ladybug's hand and spiriting him from her stronghold.

It is then,that the three of them realises that Adrien has been Chat Noir all this time.

And he is not happy.

(I know that Luka knows who Adrien is, but, my man, I have nothing against you but you have been consistently useless throughout the entire series and I have no doubt that sentiment will carry through even when Marinette morphs into a monstrous locomotive puffing down the road to Hell that is paved with good intentions.)

People who deserve redemption, according to Thomas Astruc, written from least to worst of a bad character.

Kim Lê Chiến

Dumbass teenage boy who could have killed Marinette with a dumb prank he was completely concious of, and willing to commit. The boy was also a brat/ bully throughout season 1, but after Dark Cupid had apparently decided to be nicer off screen. Became friends with Max and got a girlfriend... BUT still refers to Chloe as the funniest and prettiest girl, IN FRONT of said girlfriend. Sees nothing wtong with what he did to the point of getting upset enough to become akumatized over the issue. He was allowed to be a super hero without even apologizing to Marinette dor over a year, and did a lot of dumb stuff tht was also forgiven just because. Is also one of the most inconsistently written characters in tbe story.

Jagged Stone

Possibly the most likable man on the list. However this man abandoned his twins and didn't contact them for 14 years. He kept his identity a secret and it's not even known if he paid child support before coming back into their lives, and constantly having fights with their mother.

That said he's put low on the list because we don't know if he did or did not pay child support. He's not mean to his children or kids in general, he is legit trying to make up for his absence and he originally left because his life was too chaotic to have custody. There's a lot of ambiguity and behind the scenes drama that is not explored (*cough thought out cough cough*) in this family, and it's even possible the mom fought for full custody to keep him away after a big break up. The situation is too ambiguous to judge.

Sabrina Raincomprix

Sabrina has been Chloe's number 1 supporter and follower for almost a decade. They were childhood friends and wherever Chloe went, she went. She has been supporting Chloe bad deeds and even happily participating throughout most of them. There were two incidents in season 1 where they almost stopped being friends and Marinette made an attempt to leave the friendship once, but for the most part has stuck throigh and done everything Chloe has wanted her to do and loved doing it. This includes stealing, faking notes, doing her homework, coming up with schemes to bully, laughing at all the chaos, making grown women and other teens cry and so much more. She was even given the dog Miraculous in season 4, by Marinette, despite doing nothing to earn it and only being good at soccer and wanting to SAVE Chloe, so they could bully another day.

In the end she's given a redemption arc because she feels bad for stealing (all of a sudden), and because Chloe was becoming friends with Lilah. The fact she's an active participant in bullying who gets off on the power trip of putting others drown, is not brought up again

Alec Cataldi

Alec's career is based on putting other people down, and is responsible for the first akumatized victim in the show back in episode 1. For four seasons, his entire personality was finding people, mocking them, on television or in person, and getting views off it. He's a spiteful man who makes his living off the suffering of others.

However in season 4 we find out that his biggest dream was to become a drag queen when he was little, and he was mocked for it. After that happened he shaved his hair off and started putting down other people's passions, in the same way his had dreams had been squashed. After his first and only akumatization, he has a break down and epithany, decides to live his true self and raise people up instead instead. On paper, he has the best redemption arc so far.

Félix Fathom

Fèlix was introduced in season 3, and his first on-screen acts include destroying Adrien's things, trying to ruin his cousin's reputation and leave him friendless, sexually assaulting Ladybug, and stealing from the Agreste family. He continues his bad deeds in season four with identity theft, and stealing all the Miraculous' from Ladybug and giving them to Gabriel/ AKA Hawkmoth, in return for the Peacock Miraculous.

We learn in season 5 he's a sentimonster who's been acting out due to an abusive father and his fragile existence in the world. He uses his power to remove everyone in the world in a misplaced effort to make him and his cousin happy, before eventually being talked down by Kagami and Adrian.

He eventually starts stalking Kagami and after revealing himself, they start a relationship together. He seems socially inept and yet despite all his knowledge on his, Adrien's and Kagami's situation, he decides to never tell Adrian aboht what's happening and only Marinette in the most awkward dance number ever.

All in all Fèlix had every opportunity and all the power to reveal Hawkmoth's true identy from the start, but never took the steps to reveal his identity and work towards true redemption. And if he decided to tell Chat Noir/ Ladybug the whole story, the three of them could have defeated monarch. And Adrien and Kagami would nit have been forced to goto London.

André Bourgeois

Andrè is a corrupt mayor, who uses his elected title and money to regularly take advantage of the people of Paris. He has fired people without just cause (even his own "friends"), tried to steal things he was denied, abused funds, and enable his daughters worst decisions. He raised Chloe alone since she was 4-6, and has both neglected her emotional needs, refused to parent his child, rewarded her bad behavior with material possessions, and allowed her to idolize her mother, and even encouraged her to model her behavior after her mother she abandoned them, and then abandons her and hands her over to her abusive mother at the end of the series, while taking in her half sibling, who he has not raised and has no legal claim over.

Andrè blames the women in his life for how he's turned out. Claiming he only wanted to be a film director, and only left to be a successful business tirant and corrupt political figure, for his wife Audrey. Who he still stays married to after she cheats on him, and moves away for half a decade, abandoning hik and their own daughter. He chooses to stay married. Chose to stay in that career and chose to constantly rip off and screw over the people of paris. Often being the cause of akumatization, and ruinging big events for his daughter's whims. Keep in mind, the only reason Chloe is like this now, is because of Aundrè's parenting, yet he never takes responsibility for that, and instead decides to abdocate his position, illigally allow his daughter to take control of the city, let her take all the fall for HIS crimes, and then abandon her to live with his step daughter instead.

All this to say that Andrè may be the second worst on the list, but I hate him the most.

Gabriel Agreste

What can't you say about this man. This man loves being evil. He dances through the halls when a scheme looks like it's about to work. His entire power is taking advantage of people at thier worst, enslaving them and then making them do his bidding. His list of victims includes literal babies, children of all ages, the mentally ill, the elderly, and even his own son. The son which he claims to love but whom he actively manipulates, abuses and mistreats throughout the ENTIRE series. He literally controls him to make him do whatever he wants, and when he acts out or says something he does not like, he belittles him and will actively punish him if he gets less than perfect.

Gabriel also disrespects and will backstab all his allies. Has enslaved 2 kwami's and claims everything he does is for his dead wife, whose corpse he keeps locked away in his basement. He is actively going against her wishes to stay dead and manipulates the love of the women around him, like Natalie, to move forward with his evil plans.

Lastly when he says he does it all for his wife, he's lying. Because the when he has the opportunity to go back in time and save his wife, or fight Ladybug, he actively chooses the latter.

He constantly terrorizes Paris, actively makes situations worst for people to make more akumatized victims, destroys property, all while he hides away in the shadows. Then finally in season 5, when he is confronted by Ladybug, he is given the opportunity to reform and really think about what he did. To reflect on all he's done. He uses a moment of vulnerability and weakness to manipulate Marinette and treats her like the puppet she's named after. His last act of the show is stealing the Miraculous, using the cat and Ladybug to destroy and recreate the world how he wills, where he's the hero and no one knows he's the villain, and his son who he abused for 5 seasons and now has left parentless, now sees him as a hero.

Prompt; Someone catches a snip of Chat Noir's transformation on camera. Felix is freaked out at the close shave with his secret identity, but also kind of finds Adrien's misery hilarious. It's always great to discover more benefits of being nigh-identical.

In Adrien's defense, stares aren't unordinary.

He would definitely appreciate a lack of them, but he has...well, adjusted sounds better than used to. In terms of arrogance.

Schoolmates staring? Perfectly normal! Classmates glancing at each other conspicuously when they think he can't see? Really wish he got a little less of that, but alright! Marinette waving to him with a soft smile and saying a greeting without stammering? That's-

....that's....

"...What did I miss?"

Nino doesn't answer right away, mainly due to the earphones that are only 70% of the time actually turned on when he's wearing them. Adrien would usually leave his best friend alone when like this, unless he was suffering an emergency, in which case he would poke him.

He pokes him.

Nino clears his throat loudly, before tapping on Adrien's arm and getting up-his usual signal that he thinks what they're about to talk about is something Adrien may not want their classmates to hear. Or something Nino doesn't want their classmates to hear.

Cool, cool. Everything's all good here.

Adrien follows his best friend out and glances back.

Marinette tilts her head at him with a question while meeting his gaze.

Adrien walks faster.

They trail a bit away from the classrooms, and while Nino doesn't lock the bathroom door Adrien can see his eyes lingering consideringly on the lock.

Which would be rude to those who actually want to go to the toilet. Adrien helpfully mentions that.

Nino grimaces before looking up to stare at the heavens in misery-or rather, the just-a-little-peeling ceiling. "I cannot see it, bro. I still can't. I'm so sorry."

"...what are you talking about?"

Nino stares at his face an absurd amount. Adrien, well trained since six, stays perfectly still. He's fine with entertaining his best friend's...whatever for a bit, as long as they aren't late for first period.

"Bro. Okay."

Nino puts his hands on his shoulders like he's gearing up to hug him. Adrien is already aware he's about to do something resembling an emotional conversation.

"You know I don't care, right? I'll still be there, and if this somehow works out I'll cover for you."

Adrien blinks.

"What?"

Nino winces.

"Right...so..."

Adrien waits, but Nino never quite works up the courage to say whatever he was thinking of. He just holds out his phone, with a video recording tab open and plays it.

Oh, that's Chat Noir! Personally, Adrien might have put a bit more flair to the name, purrhaps something like Catwalker, but he can understand a magical girl's rush-

A flash of green light, and in Chat Noir's place is-

Adrien stares open-mouthed.

"It's...sorry, bro. Some random stranger saw you-"

Should he laugh or cry?

"That's not me."

Does the secret organisation come too late in ML?

I will also make a post for the organisation itself but not there.

Short answer: no. Long answer below:

While it's kinda late for the Miraclass to have their proper story in season 6, it's not too late for me that the secret organisation comes into the story now.

It makes sense after Hawkmoth was defeated to see the bigger bad guys behind me when we thought it was done, since ML was always about dramatic irony, when we, viewers, know more than the characters. About the love square and Gabriel and Adrien situation.

So, not only we have a new butterfly holder with a new wish, but we finally saw the big organisation behind Gabriel. An organisation that was hinted before.

And all of that was first hinted at the end of S1 with the revelation of the peacock miraculous, the book and a ticket from Tibet in Gabriel's office.

We learnt in S5 that Gabriel Agreste used to be Gabi Grassette. And the only people he knew back there was Emilie and André who then met Audrey. How does he manage to erase his previous identity, how did he gain such fame with his poor creativity, the answers is Audrey which might be part of the organisation as well. Also explaning why an incompetent and corrupted mayor like André could stay in position for so long. Because the organisation needed a puppet in power.

Her implications were hinted back in S3 when Audrey, Gabriel and Tomoe were interested in the restoration of Miraculous monastery. Meaning there was a link between these three: the secret organisation.

I think Audrey, who is responsible for Gabriel's success, is also the one who introduced him in the organisation where he met Tomoe and then they became economic partners for the goals of said organisation. Also how he and Emilie met Nathalie who then helped them finding the miraculous, then a cure for Emilie, then helped him when he became Hawkmoth.

About Tomoe who is hinted of being the Machine, we have Kagami who is also a sentiperson and doesn't seem to have a father which is logical with Tomoe's mindset that their family doesn't need men. So she made Kagami to be perfect, lost her eyesight in the process (maybe the miraculous wasn't too damaged since she survived). With 3 children being senti, it also raises the question about Chloé, since Audrey is part of the organisation (I don't think Colt Fathom was part or just had a minus role since he asked Gabriel when Emilie was pregnant). Could Chloé be a sentiperson as well? That could be hinted by Audrey always wearing sunglasses like Tomoe and explain why she is unable to change (such didn't have a redemption arc) because she was made that way. But that wouldn't wise in writing because that would make her irresponsible for her actions, even if we could say a child is the result of their parents' education so they are the first responsible ones.

Some of us might have been too focus on Gabriel/Tomoe/Audrey to realise Nathalie is more than she seems to be: she's smart, she can fight, she was with Gabriel for exploration, maybe because she has more experience in this domain than him. She is too competent to be just a secretary.

We also have in S4 the reception at the Agreste mansion where all the guests wore masks and in S5 the Diamond Ball for all the perfect children of the organisation. Plus, during the special, we had the Supreme (Paris special) and a shaddy character, Cash, who was involved with the American Miraculous box in NY special and in the Shanghai special with Fei as part of a "Chinese mafia" specialised in magic jewels.

Cash was involved with Gabriel as an underground partner for information and dirty work. Might be is intel to find the two miraculous of the butterfly and the peacock with the book. We know they worked together 15 years ago, so when Emilie wasn't sick yet since Adrien and the rest of the cast are 14 years old during S1-S5 (a school year). So when they wanted to have a magic child? Or maybe Emilie was just starting to get sicker and sicker during her pregnancy.

But that doesn't explain how Gabriel met him or knew about the miraculous, except if it was thanks to the secret organisation. I had a theory after the Shanghai special that Cash is Zoé's father which last name is Lee, a Chinese name. If Gabriel met Cash thanks to Audrey, it would also be logical since Audrey made him meet every shaddy person linked to the organisation (Tomoe, Nathalie). But I can't know if Zoé is the result of an affair, a one-night stand or if Audrey and Cash were married after the divorce with André (since Zoé is a year younger than the rest of the class with Marc).

For the chronology:

Gabriel was friends with André as poor artists and in love with Emilie

Her parents (Emil) rejected her because she didn't meet her standards, nor her love partner

André met Audrey who introduced them in the secret organisation where they met Tomoe and Nathalie

Gabi Grassette became Gabriel Agreste, a famous fashion designer and gained wealth. This influence allowed him to become the Diamond with Nathalie as his shadow

15 years ago, Gabriel and Nathalie were in Shanghai and Gabriel was indirectly responsible for Fei's father's death through Cash, introduced to him by Audrey

They didn't find Fei's jewel, but later the two miraculous in Tibet

Emilie was pregnant with a sentibaby

Colt Fathom came to Gabriel to have a child too and make Amélie fall pregnant

Tomoe created Kagami (with pregnancy or in a technological womb) around the same year

Tomoe lost her eyes and Colt and Emilie fell sick because of the broken miraculous

Gabriel and Nathalie traveled to find a cure for her but failed

Emilie died and Gabriel became Hawkmoth to find the miraculous of the ladybug and black cat to revive her. Colt died shortly after (since Amélie fell pregnant after Emilie)

in S3, the monastery was rebuilt and its people revived thanks to the ladybug cure

Gabriel and Tomoe made a contract (the alliances?)

In S4, Gabriel organised a closed reception at his mansion where all the guests wore masks

In S5, he organised the Diamond Ball.
