i gotta talk about my low empathy james fitzjames headcanon actually. i prommy i don't use it to excuse any of the acts of violence he committed against his fellow man (not just the colonialism either, but things like the petty rivalry with crozier that borders on bullying prior to the death of franklin) because as a low empathy person i know that's not how it works. but i do think that viewing his actions through a lens of understanding that both circumstances such as his birth and being a part of the british empire as well several choices he's made in life (particularly his sycophantic attitude towards those in positions of greater authority whose favour can work in his and his participation in active combat) have led him to become broadly alienated from other people and both their and his own emotions makes them more interesting.

You know how sometimes the parent has to stay for a little bit once class time actually starts just because the kid won't calm down? It's only when activity time actually starts that baby finally, finally pulls away from him when some kids ask yours to play with them, giving dad one last hug before shyly joining their circle and picking up a block.

AND there Bakugo is, crying on the way to the car and then low? high? key sobbing once you're in because your kid chose some "lil extras" to play with instead of continuing to cling onto him, which you have to remind him is actually a good thing, that other kids wanted to play with your child LMFAO.

He's such a freak LMFAO and it absolutely gets worse with your next baby, too jsdkafjkasdfjk BYE (he absolutely does hang out outside the kindergarten, sometimes even "forgetting" to give them their lunch ON PURPOSE, just so he has an excuse to drop it off and see them in the middle of the day).

Okay being honest here, I went and read through the replies of Tubbo’s tweets about the Frubbo miscommunication, and the people he was replying to. It’s not good to say the least, honestly my anons were underplaying it, it’s very serious levels of gaslighting to a point that I think it would cause a lot of people to have derealization episodes if they were on the receiving end. People have pretty much fully gaslight Tubbo’s memory, motivations, and the lore he has been keeping up, telling him he doesn’t know what he remembers about Fred, constantly saying he forgot the Frubbo arc, and saying stuff like “Oh you just have memory issues” or “yeah you just forget everything don’t you” and much crueler comments.

I’m intensely fearful that Tubbo will completely redirect his character because he feels that’s he’s been messing up this whole time, that all these motivations he’s convinced himself of are fake. Imagine thousands of people laughing at you saying how everything you’ve been working on isn’t real and you just want to be a victim.

huge recommendation if your sensitive to this kinda of stuff to not touch Tubbo’s replies around the Frubbo stuff, it is incredibly triggering and at times outright bigoted towards disabled people (literally laughing about the idea of him having dementia…).
