7: What is the most important part of a book, in your opinion?

Mmmmmm I think, probably introduction to the world? As in, the way the author introduces you to the circumstances of the characters - I’m a sucker for good worldbuilding tbh, and the best is when it’s not like... sit down son and let me tell you 1000 years of history (although those are fun too) but when the story just goes, and you discover bits and pieces of the culture and political situation and architecture and religion as you move through the character’s eyes. I love when you just... know how the sewage works, and the main import product of a certain port city, just... man, I just love worldbuilding. //flails arms

24: First book(s) you remember being obsessed with

It was The Lord of the Rings. I was nine. My gran was furious with my parents when she found out, but I loved every piece of it. I still do. :)

Favorite Movie/Book Genre: She really likes Action/Superhero Movies and usually only reads Ghost Stories

Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: The Love Triangle lmao

Talents and/or Powers: She’s haunted by ghosts that stay with her until they are able to pass on. When they come she has to relive their death and sometimes she can force others to relive their death as well (she calls it the Ghost Hand, she likes to think she’s a superhero and comes up with “moves”). Talent-wise, she’s very athletic and excels at running. She’s also a very good driver.

Why Someone Might Love Them: She really really tries to help people, even if she ends up messing up. While she may be impulsive and domineering, she’s never upset or disgruntled when someone tells her to reign it back in, she just tries to learn from it.

Why Someone Might Hate Them: She’s very good at reading peoples body language, or see more of what they mean rather than what they say, which can make her very unsettling for someone. She’s also not very tactful, and with that combination she can get on someone’s nerves.

How They Change: She changes very subtly, when she meets and understands new people and how they see things. Especially when she finally finds friends that tell her when she’s taking things too far. She used to think she could do everything all by herself and she had to learn that she needs people.

Why You Love Them: She was one of my favorite characters to create for Ghost Life and I just love this loud energetic child that just wants to help people and live her life to the fullest.

7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?

I MEAN all of them have at least some semblance of a story. None of them are finished, though OTL. Main stories that I hope to actually turn into something are Psychic for Hire, The Mission (working title), and 2 Slices!

10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?

This is actually kind of funny because I always subconsciously challenge myself to design animatable characters, so most of my designs are relatively simple. However, since I have yet to re-design him, we have Herb:

(from 2014) He is a swamp zombie thing who, despite his appearance, is pretty perky and excited (about plants!). Of course he was a botanist. But yeah he has a lot of bits cause he’s slowly being taken over by plants until he turns into a tree anyways here’s a doodle i just did

18. Biggest insecurity

So hard to choose just one OC here! Nata, though. (Backstory: Nata is an amphibious android designed for ocean research; i.e. a ROBOT MERMAID. After the crew on her ocean expedition is attacked, Nata escapes with nothing but some of her spare parts and begins a new life far away on shore. Where, ironically, she meets and begins to Have Feelings About an actual mermaid living secretly among the humans.)

Nata’s biggest insecurity is all about human social interaction. She’s confident in her knowledge and skills, but there’s some human social things that wow everyone in the outside world apparently just KNOWS yet there’s no downloadable resources on???? Wtf???? Why did no one create a “how to look for somewhere to live when you’re a homeless robot, also what is currency and why are those human males shouting about the structure of my chassis’ posterior construction” wikihow. What is this.

Aside from that it’s jokes. She’s terrible at making them and also at getting them. She’s decent at puns but more often tells them to get reactions instead of actually finding them funny.

killua/gon, admiration? or maybe makoharu, regret?

Hi!! Sorry this took so long; so in apology, I did both!  I hope these are OK for you.

Send a ship with any emotion and I will write a small ficlet conveying said emotion between those characters without using dialogue.

It seems natural for him, decidingthings simply and easily; not getting caught up in the tangles of hismind like Killua so often does.  He can win over hearts through asmile and a laugh – or if that doesn’t work, through sheerdetermination and brute strength.

Sunshine glows from within him, radiantfrom his bones – his basic structure more postive energy thanKillua has ever known.  He burns so brightly, everyone can see –and they draw to him like moths to a flame.  Eager to experience themarvel, the joy, that is Gon Freecss first hand.  And Killua is justanother one of those moths – making his way towards the light ofGon, moreso than the light at the end of that dark endless tunnel –hoping that the warmth, the sheer brightness, won’t burn.

People aren’t afraid of Gon like theyare of Killua – wary of the claws hidden just beneath porcelainskin, the smell of blood that always lingers.  He’s never had thatpersonability, the easy affection that his best friend does; and it’samazing to watch people of all ages, of all backgrounds, immediatelyattracted to the enhancer.  And he truly is an enhancer; no-one elsein the entire world is as likeable as Gon Freecss.  He achievesthings that Killua – despite all his training, all his skill –has no chance of, effortlessly.

Gon Freecss is more than his father’slegacy, and Killua’s glad to have known him.

There are millions of words in hishead, sometimes restless, sometimes not.  He’s never been a greatcommunicator, never been as willing to share his thoughts as hisfriends, so instead they’ve built up in his mind.

Most things are inconsequential,passing moments that are forgotten sooner than they’re remembered –things that can be replaced with a shrug or a roll of the eyes.   Butthere are also things that eat away at his dreams – what if’sclattering around as his stomach tries to tie itself into knots. Things he missed saying to his friends, his family.  Where the momentpassed by too quickly for the courage to grow enough for him tospeak.  He’s been the cause for his own unhappiness, his ownmisunderstandings too many times, and he knows it affects the peoplehe cares about.

There have been so many years passing,time steadily moving forward despite all his wishes for things tostay the same.  Countless evenings spent together, school daysquietly blending into each other.  Makoto has always been Haru’s linkto the rest of the world, saying the things that Haru can’t –expressing things both expected and unknown.

There are a million things that Haruwants to say; important things that his best friend deserves to know,but are too hard to explain with just words for him.  Feelings andmemories and a million sensations that tangle and entwine,intrinsically linked to Makoto in his mind.  He could hope or wishthat the gentle giant would understand it all already, wouldn’t needfor Haru to say anything – but he knows that’s cowardly.  That it’srunning away from another situation he’s uncomfortable with, but thistime the repercussions would mean so much more.  Maybe make him losesomething he can’t stand to go without.

Turning thoughts into words has neverbeen easy for Haru; but now, he needs to be able to – won’t letthis moment pass by so quickly.

hahah!! yeah if you’re able to turn it off and on then there are many practical uses for it! I can imagine being a lawyer and knowing the other guy did it but then you have to get everyone else to believe you and be good at your job haha I wonder if it could work with animals though to hear their thoughts

The only thing I can think of off hand is doing an askblog XD I tried to do an askblog idk how long ago but i managed like two posts and i had nO IDEA HOW ACTUAL ASKBLOGS WERE RUN so i just kind of quit it ^^;; and now I’m actually just started preparing a new one I just gotta do the start up post and i’ll be official ; )

Haha I have! I think the first thing was I got red streaks in my hair, then some time after that I had purple and white blonde streaks in my hair, and then after that I had teal just in my fringe and now i dye all of my hair an orange-ish brown color : D
