Director Kudo, Ichikawa, and Tashiro, part of the investigative team, set out to uncover the truth…' The manga will be bringing back the terrifying atmosphere of the Kowasugi! series, which first gained popularity in 2012 with its POV-style horror that captured a huge online following.

Yes, they made a manga based on that found footage series from Koji Shiraishi. Exciting! The title is going to be released on October 11 in Japan.

So as not that many people know, I absolutely LOVE found footage horror films, especially ones from Japan, and lately I’ve been taking a liking to watching the Senritsu Kaiki File Kowasugi! series (only on episode 3 atm)

Watched Occult for the first time today and I love that legendary horror director Kiyoshi Kurosawa just shows up as himself for like 5 min an hour into this found footage movie to talk about some cool rocks. Perfect decision. No notes. Like it would've been so good without that but Shiraishi was just like "Nah, we need our target audience to piss their pants with excitement."
