I Do My Own Stunts --- Linda Knight Seccaspina
I Do My Own Stunts Linda Knight Seccaspina– I have read that one in a million people is a klutz. I am definitely and categorically number one. Having clumsy actions are unbearably annoying to me–and of course everyone else around me. But, someone asked me if I ever thought to consider the amount of talent it takes being a klutz? Really? While it does take skill to fall on a flat surface my knees…

Do you still take requests for Ford x reader?? If yes can I pls request reader teaching Ford how to kiss? I've just read headcanon that despite whole kissing robot history this men is inexperienced as f. ck, I would appreciate if it was more fluff than steamy, just lots of giggling, flustered senior citizen and bonding moment, thank you in advance!!
‘You haven’t never kissed anyone? Never?’ You asked as you sat across from the older man.
Ford scratched the back of his head as he averts his gaze towards where your knees pressed against one another, finding it more interesting than meeting your eyes at the moment. ‘I’m sure you’ve been told by Stanley of the whole robot incident back in highschool.’ He trails off while a blush spreads across his handsomely aged face.
It was obvious that he was embarrassed by it but you couldn’t help but think about how well he looked when being flustered and shy, sure the smart man of science act was well fitting for him too, however you can’t help yourself but to admire how cute Ford looked with cheeks the colour of cherries and a sheepish smile that made it almost impossible for you not to hold his face between your hands and kiss him senseless; Yet you managed to restrain yourself as to not frighten Ford off by accident.
You smiled as you reached your hand out to hold his own, which was clenching his trousers until his knuckles were white, and rub your thumb over it reassuringly. ‘That’s okay, there’s no shame in not having kissed anyone, if it’s any consolation I didn’t have much luck either until far later in life.’ You said and Ford looked at you.
‘Really?’ He asks.
‘Yeah, why do you sound so surprised?’ You replied.
‘Well you’re you, anyone would be very lucky to have shared such an intimate first with you.’ Ford said softly as you now felt yourself become flustered from his comment, smiling sheepishly as you glanced down at your lap before looking back over at him again, shrugging your shoulders. ‘Not many people see me the way you do, but then again most people don’t bother to look up from their phone screens nowadays to notice anything of worth.’
‘Sounds like their loss.’ Ford says and your waves it off.
‘It is their loss,’ you glanced towards his lips, unable to hide the need to feel themselves against yours a second longer. ‘would you like me to kiss you now.’ You add abruptly and straight forward that poor Ford-who was already on the edge of the bed- almost fall off had your hand holding his own not keep him steady and in place. ‘I wouldn’t- I- if you don’t mind.’ Ford fumbled his words as he readjusted his glasses back up his nose out of nervousness. You then reached both hands up to cup his face, feeling the warmth of his cheeks against your palms and stroking the skin in means to ease the tension within him as best you could.
‘Relax Ford I can feel how tense you are and I’m just holding your face.’ You giggled and Ford couldn’t help but giggle alongside you, feeling himself stuck between whether he was excited or absolutely nervous about finally having his first kiss at the ripe age of 60, however he knew that he was the safest he’ll ever be within your presence was enough to have him relaxing within your touch. ‘Sorry.’ He apologised.
You kissed his nose, hearing his breath hitch in his throat. ‘It’s okay, there’s no need to apologise for how you feel, just let me know when you want me to stop or explain something better.’ You tell him, stroking his cheeks gingerly to make him relax once more, you were quick to notice how his body went rigid and on edge at every little thing you did but you hoped that sooner or later he’ll become more comfortable.
‘Okay, please continue.’ Ford said and you were more than happy to as you then proceeded to rest your forehead against his own, staying there as you felt his warm breath fan your face as you looked deeply into his dark, expressive eyes.
‘I prefer to hold someone by the face before I kiss them but there’s many ways to give their hands something to do instead of just hanging limp at your sides, it’s just up to you and what you feel comfortable with.’ You tell Ford as you then felt his hands nervously find their place at your waist, it was obvious he was still a little awkward and tense about doing something wrong, but other then that it was nice to see him experiment with what felt best for him.
‘See you’re getting the hang of it.’ You praised him softly as he smiled at you shyly.
‘I’m merely doing what’s being suggested to me in hopes of it not making things awkward.’ He says and you chuckled.
‘You’re doing fine, besides nobody gets the hang of it straight away, so take your time.’ You remind him as you then took the opportunity to innocently peck his lips, making Ford gasp at the contact before replicating your actions by pecking you on the lips in response. It was quick, almost missable but the warmth on your lips told a different story but proven to have you feeling butterflies within your stomach regardless from such a small gesture.
‘Was that okay?’ He asks and you peck his lips again.
‘It was more than okay Ford, just let it linger a little longer.’ You advised and Ford then once again pecks your lips, taking your advice and letting it linger there for a couple of seconds longer, though not too long for it to overstay its welcome, before pulling away. ‘How was that?’
You smile. ‘Perfect, ready to delve a little further?’
Ford hums and you took that as an opportunity to kiss him again before softly weaving your lips between his, switching from the bottom lip to the top lip simultaneously as you felt Ford try to mimic your lips as best as he could. God he was so adorable that you couldn’t help but laugh against his lips, causing Ford to pull away to look at you quizzically. ‘What’s so funny?’ He inquired.
‘Nothing,’ you began as you let a few chuckles slip past, ‘just how adorable and sweet you’re being with me. It’s okay to put a little more pressure, I won’t bruise sweetheart.’ You add as you go in to kiss him again, weaving your lips between his own for a bit before feeling him begin to weave his between yours with the right amount of pressure. His kiss was delicious as it was soft but firm, awkward but slowly gaining in confidence, it was so uniquely Ford that you couldn’t help but press into him a little deeper, smiling against his lips when you felt him press further into you.
While you wanted the kids to last a little longer your lungs reminded you that you were only human- a human in desperate need of oxygen- as you pulled away from Ford, panting but with a smile upon your face that was mirrored by Ford as he rubbed soothing patterns into your sides.
‘Wow.’ Ford said breathlessly.
‘Wow indeed.’ You replied, just as out of breath as he was but you couldn’t help but press a flurry of kisses against his face as his hold on your waist tightens as he brings you in close, forgetting just how close to the edge of the bed he was, until you were both sent to the floor below in a heap of tangled limbs.
You and Ford looked at one another before bursting out laughing just as Stanley came into the room to see what made that loud noise, only to see the two of you laughing on the floor as you cling to each other like a lovesick couple.
Stanley sighed but couldn’t help but smile at you both before leaving the room, and leaving you and Ford to trade more kisses as you laid tangled in each other, not that the two of you mind as you couldn’t think of being anywhere else other then each others arms.

Ruben Dias x Reader - Not Ready Part 4/12
Part 5 and Part 6 are out on my Patreon!
Tumblr media
Readers sister dies in a tragic car accident, leaving reader and her boyfriend Ruben in the urgent custody of her niece and nephew. Readers' life is suddenly flipped upside-down since having children hadn't been the plan for her and Ruben's life together. At least not now, when his football career was reaching great new heights.
Enjoy! 💞
"So you're the children's caregiver now?"
"No, Laleh. I'm still just their aunt." What a waste of your lunch break, you thought. Laleh was grilling you with questions all through your walk in the park. You should have stayed at the office, perhaps snuck up to the roof top and joined the chainsmokers on their lunch break. Lord knows you could use a cigarette right about now.
"But you're the only one caring for them, no?"
"Well, my parents sent me money for the week while the kids are staying with me. But, yes, their dad has gone a bit M.I.A for the moment. I suppose Ruben and I are the only ones caring for the children."
And how does he feel about that?"
"What do you mean?" You stopped before a park bench, behind it a large oak tree where a group of senior citizens were practicing Tai chi.
"Well you've involuntarily made Ruben a father figure now." Laleh said.
"What? No I haven't. The children call him uncle Ruben but that's because my sister and I joked about it once. It kinda stuck, but Ruben knows he is not responsible for the children in any way."
"But you are."
"Yes. I am. So what?"
"I dunno Y/N. It just feels like it can get a bit messy if you and Ruben aren't on the same page."
"Well, we are. The children are leaving tomorrow. Both my parents are coming to London to help clean out the rest of Liza's things. They're taking Emmy and Vale with them to Bournemouth after that, while their father stays back and continues to try and sell the house."
"It's really that bad huh?" Laleh picked up your walk, taking a sip of her coffee. "Does he want all traces of your sister gone?"
You nodded. "But I think it's for the best. There is no need for him and the children to be reminded of her everyday. It would be too painful. "
"And how about you, how are you holding up?"
"Me?"
"Yes, you—"
"Auntie Y/N!"
"Emmy, Vale, what are you two doing here?"
Fallen leaves rustled on the ground as the children came sprinting your way.
"Look what Uncle Ruben got us." Said Vale, waving his melting popsicle. Emmy was nibbling on hers, almost chewing on the stick.
"Ice cream?" You questioned. "In the middle of the day."
"Uncle Ruben said we could have as many as we like."
"Did he now?" You raised your head, watching Ruben as he walked towards you with a football at his feet. You crossed your arms, a smile on your face as he approached. He was supposed to babysit the kids while you were at work, not give them cavities.
"What can I say?" He shrugged. "Hey Laleh." He greeted her while pressing a kiss to your cheek. "How are you?"
"Fine. I see you guys have a full house now."
"More or less." He sighed. A sigh that caused a jab in your stomach.
"Baby, you didn't have to take the kids out to the park. You could have just watched them while you were resting." It was supposed to be Ruben's day off and now you felt guilty for ruining it.
"Yeah, but they got pretty bored of watching TV all day." He said. "I didn't mind taking them to the park. We had pretty fun playing football."
"Uncle Ruben lost." Emmy said, throwing away her popsicle stick in the nearest bin. "I thought you said that he was a professional auntie Y/N?"
"I am." Ruben frowned.
"Could have fooled me." Emmy scoffed and walked off to join her brother that had taken interest in the old people doing a funny dance under the oak tree.
"It was two against one." Ruben assured you.
Laleh laughed.
"Sure it was, baby." You patted his arm.
"It was. And I was tired from a whole week of training."
"Of course you were." You pushed up and pecked his lips, whispering against his mouth, "I hope you're not too tired for tonight. I'm finally off my period."
Ruben's eyes widened with interest, a smirk twitching his lips. "I'll see you at home then."
"See you." You waved, teeth biting down on your lips.
You went back to work that afternoon with mixed feelings. The week had gone by so fast. Your niece and nephew were going back home to live with their dad just when they were starting to come to terms with the fact that their mother was never coming back to them. It will be hard to let them go, not knowing if your parents will pamper them with the same loving affirmation like you have been doing every day for the past week.
"What are you thinking about?"
Ruben's chest vibrated against your face, his voice quiet and deep in the night. The children had gone to bed early while you and Ruben stayed up in your room, finally getting a moment to yourself.
"I'm worried about Emmy and Vale."
"You are? Why?" Ruben's finger drew lazy patterns on the hill of your naked shoulder. He did so, tracing his finger down your arm and then back up again, causing goosebumps to rise.
"My parents..." You sighed. "They're not very good with kids."
"No?"
"No."
Ruben lay quiet, his eyes gazing at the ceiling before stating the obvious. "Didn't they have two of their own?"
You shut your eyes, but shifted so that your chin rested against Ruben's sternum. Your eyes opened and found Ruben watching you, his expression dark but attentive.
"They did have two kids." You nodded. "But my sister and I took care of each other. At least for the most part. It was mainly in our teens that our parents stopped paying attention to us. Almost as if they one day decided that they had done enough for us."
"I see." Ruben removed a strand of hair from your face, letting his hand linger against your cheek.
"It was terrible." You said, remembering your parents' first vacation without you, and then the second one and the third one.... Liza wasn't too bothered by their absence, but that's because she had football. You on the other hand developed some bad attachment issues. Issues that showed themselves in future relationships. Mainly how you handled heartbreak, often blaming yourself. You also put others before you to a point where your own boss found you a replacement to cover your shift at work, only because she knew that you wouldn't dare to ask for a day off on your birthday. That's how much of a people pleaser you were (had become).
"It's a good thing that they have each other, no?"
"Huh?"
Ruben nibbled his fingers at your earlobe. "Emmy and Vale," He said. "I'm sure that they'll be looking after each other."
"Yes, but they shouldn't have to. My parents should—"
There was a crack of the door as it slowly came ajar. "Auntie Y/N?"
"Emmy?" You quickly reached for the bed sheets.
"Auntie Y/N, we can't sleep."
"No?" You couldn't see her where you lay pressed against Ruben's naked chest, the two of you butt naked under the sheets. Nevertheless, the door cracked open some more and you sighed.
"Yes. Me and Vale. Can we sleep in here with you and uncle Ruben?"
"Erm..." Ruben was already reaching for something on the floor. A pair of shorts. "You know what. Why don't you go and wait for me in your room? I'll be right there with you, baby."
"Oh. Okay." Her bare feet were heard scattering away, leaving the bedroom door open.
"Fuck."
You pushed off the mattress, climbing over Ruben, sliding down the bed. You hurried to get dressed, looking back at your boyfriend who was left in bed.
"I'm so sorry. I've got to—"
"It's okay." Ruben smiled. A thin smile. "I'll see you in the morning."
You nodded, closing the door behind you. The apartment lay quiet in the night, the city lights showing you their way towards the guest room. You opened the door with a light knock and was surprised to find Emmy and Vale in bed together with the dog. Iker who squealed and wagged his tail at the sight of you.
Vale was fast asleep while Emmy moved over to make a spot for you in the middle. There you settled with the dog curling up on top of your pillow and Emmy wrapping her arms around your stomach. You draped your arm over her head, pressing her closer to you. That's how you fell asleep, to the sound of the dog's light snores, in unison with the children's. For the split second between sleep and alert, you thought of Ruben and how this was the first time in three years that you slept apart. At least without saying goodnight.
The next morning went by in a flash. By ten o'clock you Ruben and the kids were out of the apartment, on the road back to London.
It wasn't that you were in a rush. It was just that the drive back to Bournemouth would take your parents a few hours. It was best for the children to grab their things as early as possible to save time.
"There they are!"
"Grandma!"
"Grandpa!"
Emmy and Vale scattered out of Ruben's car as it pulled up to your sister's house. Your parents had coincidentally arrived at the sametime you did.
"How are my favorite grandchildren?"
"Grandma, we're your only grandchildren." Emmy and Vale giggled, swept up in your mother's embrace.
"Are you? How could I forget?"
It was all smiles and giggles in the front yard. Your dad and Ruben shook hands, but not much more words were exchanged beyond that. Same thing with your mother. The farthest they had gone to approve of your relationship with Ruben was in the form of an yearly invitation to visit them in Bournemouth in the summer. But only at the sametime as your sister and her children were there. Other than that they left you and Ruben alone. Possibly because they were both radical traditionalists. Your mother once told you when you first started dating Ruben, that a man like him would only string you along as long as you maintained your youth and never upsetted his lifestyle by bearing children. It was a cruel and unfair thing to say, and perhaps your parents being born and raised in Chelsea might have something to do with their resentment towards your boyfriend. Nevertheless, you had learned to live with it and so had Ruben.
"Kids!" Your dad announced with a clap of his hands. "Let's go inside and help your dad with your things. We have a long drive ahead of us once we're done."
"Yay!" Emmy and Vale joyously sprinted into their home, through the door that had been left unlocked.
You and Ruben entered the house behind your parents. But just like them you were struck by the mess in the living room and the kitchen. Boxes lay scattered all over the floor. Boxes containing old books, records and pictures of—"
A heart-wrenching scream shook the house.
"Emmy!" Your heart tied a knot as you sprinted through the house in search of her. You passed the living room and pushed through the door to the office. In that moment an incredible stench hit you like a wall, tearing up your eyes as you regarded the tragic scene before you.
"My dad is dead. My dad is dead!" Emmy cried, and ran to you hiding her face. Vale on the other hand, stood in shock, his mouth left open, watching his father who lay slumped over the desktop his skin pale and gray. However, he wasn't dead. He was just passed out in a pool of his own vomit. Hence the stench. You counted at least four bottles of something strong, whiskey perhaps.
"Y/N?" Ruben appeared behind you in the door, wrinkling his nose once the smell hit him too.
"Oh dear." Your mother gasped. Your dad pushed past her and into the room his eyes wide and his breath shallow. "Valentie." He hissed. "Please, get away from there."
He didn't move, his feet remaining glued to the floor while his body trembled all over.
"Oh dear." Your mother repeated tugging at your arm for you and Emmy to step out of the room. However, you couldn't leave, not without Vale.
"Son, please" Your dad pleaded. Tears were seen streaming down Vale's cheeks but other than that he was unresponsive.
Your mother could no longer bare the tragic scene and disappeared down the hall, dialing 999 on her phone. Meanwhile you and Ruben watched how your dad struggled to get Vale's attention. The boy was simply in shock.
"Vale please." You cried. "Come to me." His sister trembled in your embrace, her arms wrapped around you tightly. So tight that you couldn't move. "Please, Vale."
His tearfilled eyes shifted towards you and the look in them was nothing but dreadful, emptied of all light.
"That's it. Good boy." You encouraged, as his little feet shuffled slowly towards you, or towards Ruben to be exact. He walked past your dad, stretching his arms above his head. And for a moment you saw the hesitation in Ruben's eyes. The fear. But he bent down to pick him up, cradling a sniffling Vale in his embrace.
The ambulance pulled up to the house as you stepped out of it. And just as you thought to see the end of a nightmare, another one had just begun.

Hi Spade, I think "things" i.e., "closure" or "final disclosure of TS & KK's relationship" are coming to an end. My view only.
As a senior citizen +66 yrs , I accidentally came across this "Kaylor-community" a couple of years ago by pure accident. I retired and suddenly had time on my hands, starting to compile my own music-playlist ( Taylor Swift being prominent ... I just loved listening to her lyrics) and I was also interested in Fashion and uplifting girls in IT - then came across KWK. THEN, I got pulled into the KAYLOR rabbit-hole!!
I have always loved riddles, and based on facts and continuous flagging by both TS and KK, I started to get more involved with this lovely "Kaylor Community".
Wow ... this ride with all of you Kaylors, doing deep-dive, the "factual-eye-theories", interpreting her lyrics, her mashup-songs... mind blowing!!!
In my world, 1+1 always equal to 2 and I think you guys will eventually be part of a wonderful, once-in-a-life-time, historically Love Story!!
I trust that, I too, can be part of experiencing the Happy Ending between these 2 exceptional, talented, hard working ladies.
And, even if I don't, as they have to do it at their own time and pace, I still feel I am one of the few "privileged Kaylors" having access to all the most valid, secret, and valid messages from ♠️ , 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, 🎃, 🌋, 🫚 Anons. Off course including "Going, going, going Anon's" pre-warning messages. ❤️ (Thank goodness for those!😅)
I hope, once their true-story is open for the word, that all these poetic and cryptic messages, can, one day be published.
So, my ask to you SR:
- Will you be able to disclose reason(s) why you were the "chosen one" to be entrusted to receive all these messages?, and
- Would you be interested / allowed to publish the "Real-Kaylor-Story"?
Don't post of you feel I reached to far .. not my intension.
What a lovely message! Thank you for sharing your journey down this rabbit 🐇 hole! 🕳️
To answer your questions ... I have no idea why this blog was chosen for all of these messages. 😬 I am just another TSwift fan and blogger like most of you here. That is the 100% truth. I do not know anymore about their story to publish than you and the rest of the readers do. However, if you mean would I allow this blog to publish something 'they' wanted published? Of course I would.

10 BL Characters I Want Carnally
AKA I'm just a person with two keen eyes and dubious morals when it comes to enjoying media so don't take it seriously, I'm here for a good time.
Thank you @sndrys for tagging me! This was an eye opening experience putting this together. As it turns out I might have a type (ew).
1) Guy from Bake Me Please (2023)
The sole reason for me creating this list! Look, I dropped Bake Me Please almost immediately because it just wasn't for me BUT I've been lowkey watching through my dash. And let me tell you, my fingers gain consciousness and hit reblog everytime this baby's face pops up because...well...LOOK AT HIM. He is beautiful and he should get the guy (hehe get it) in the end idc.
Tumblr media
2) Yok from Not Me (2021)
Yok is such a beloved character and for good reason! He is sexy, he is gay, he sets buildings on fire and steals cops' wallets on accident because HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT GUY HE WAS STALKING WAS A COP??? I love you Yok, never change.
Tumblr media
3) Palm from Never Let Me Go/ OurSkyy2 (2022-23)
The anger I felt for all the injustice and mistreatment our beautiful Palm had to face in this show took literal years off my life. It's rare for me to get this passionately protective over a character and yet here we are, in the Palm Protection Squad headquarters. Even Nueng is on the watchlist!
Tumblr media
4) Tonhon from Tonhon Chonlatee (2020)
Not to out myself as an enjoyer of silly goofy times , but I did have fun watching Fish Upon The Sky and Secret Crush On You, so OFCOURSE I thought I would like this one too but GOD was it rough. Did I still finish it? Yes. Did I fawn over PoddKhao pairing and have been quietly praying for some kind of reunion ever since? Also yes. Was I foaming at the mouth barking everytime Tonhon AKA Podd was on my screen? I'm not gonna comment without lawyer present.
Tumblr media
5) Tew from My Dear Gangster Oppa (2023)
Speaking of Tonhon Chonlatee...AH! Ai Long Nhai (TC's spiritual prequel of sorts) was sure...something. And by something I mean I saw Meen and decided I will never speak ill of men ever again, feminism quite literally left my body. And then a year later My Dear Gangster Oppa came out and guess what??! MEEN IS THE GANGSTER OPPA! Dreams really do come true, kids.
Tumblr media
6) Wen from Moonlight Chicken (2023)
(or Tian from ATOATS or Mueang Nan fron FUTS). Mix...I will eat you. Always so dewy and healthy and sparkly-eyed. But Wen from Moonlight Chicken is something out of the realm of my imagination. The sex appeal? The maturity?? The gentleness??!! Somebody sedate me before I say something I will not be able to justify in court.
Tumblr media
7) Vee from Love Mechanics (2022)
He is a pretty bisexual who makes the most abhorrent stupid decisions known to men and then weeps and suffers for them WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED? Once again, is the show flawless or even remotely coherent? Absolutely not. That being said Vee brought me so much joy by being stupid I'm forever grateful.
(also YinWar are so back GO WATCH JACK AND JOKER TRAILER)
Tumblr media
8) Prapai from Love In The Air (2022)
To a certain extent I've enjoyed every MAME show I've watched. To do that you need to possess the rare ability called "I abandoned every shred of moral integrity to gawk at hot men". And Prapai? MAN is this bitch hot. Tall dark handsome? Check! Bisexual on a bike? Check! Stubborn and annoying? CHECK!
Tumblr media
9) Xiang Hao Ting from HIStory3: Make Our Days Count (2019)
*incoherent wailing and sobbing* IM NOT EXPLAINING SHIT ABOUT HIM LEAVE ME ALONE
Tumblr media
10) AlanJeff from Pit Babe (2023)
My newest obsession! I refuse to separate our local senior citizen and his favorite prophetic mechanic. Both of them are hot as shit in their own way. Alan is a sexy dilf with so much weight and responsibility on his shoulders it's a miracle he retained his optimism and youthful awkwardness. And Jeff is a prickly baby-cow-baby-deer eyed baby that is so touch starved it's actually a little funny. SO I GUESS ALANJEFF SANDWICH IT IS.

maybe fall in love
rating: G | words: 1,802
Morale is flagging here at the ass end of a 24 hour shift where they'd been bounced all around the city for a never ending stream of calls. The first week of summer is always like this, every kid in the district flooding out of the confines of the classroom and stretching their wings in the form of minor traffic accidents and what Eddie's heard Athena refer to as "stupidity induced injury." It's not just the kids either, the frantic energy spreading to even the oldest citizens. They'd had to confiscate illegal fireworks from a retirement home some uncountable amount of hours ago, Bobby doing his best stern dad lecture at a man 30 years his senior. Nothing's been too drastic, no death or mass destruction, but it's three AM and they're at their fourth block party fight mop up in a row and even Hen and Chim are snapping at each other and Eddie can actually see Bobby thinking through damage control.
"Buckley, Diaz."
Buck and Eddie are loading gear back into the truck, still sweating in the dead of night because the June gloom settled thick over the city has just trapped the heat in, turning the air into an oppressive muggy sludge. Eddie doesn't have the energy to respond, just turns generally in Bobby's direction. Buck, behind him, leans against the engine.
Bobby sighs, fishing around in his pockets to pull cash from his wallet and press it into Eddie's hands. He nods over at a couple of food trucks down the street that still, somehow, have lines. "Get food. Anything."
So Buck and Eddie shuffle down the road, more distance between them than usual, the normally comforting brush of shoulders suddenly an unpleasantly sticky concept. The options are bougie cheeseburgers with lobster or kimchi or peanut butter and jelly piled on them, or a fried chicken truck with an obnoxiously flashing neon sign on the roof. Buck raises an eyebrow in a question and Eddie shrugs, and they get in line for chicken.
Buck stands with his hands in his pockets and Eddie feels his palms sweat just looking at him. He's holding his arms slightly away from his torso, begging from the universe a breeze, trying to escape his own body heat. The neon flashes red and that makes Eddie feel hot too, the burning color of fire washing over Buck's features, swallowing his birthmark whole. It makes his face look strange, young and unfamiliar, and Eddie doesn't realize how intently he's studying him until Buck makes surprised eye contact. He raises an eyebrow, Eddie shakes his head with dead-exhausted eyes, Buck nods and stares back out at the street.
"How're Peppa's dates going?"
Eddie barely resists groaning at the question. Bad, is how they're going, and Buck knows that because Eddie calls him after each one to complain about it. He hasn't hit it off with a single one of the women his tia keeps plucking out of her mysterious bottomless pit of single young hopefuls, because he doesn't like their job or their interests or their laugh or the way their hand feels on his arm. Manicured nails, soft skin. Buck's head tilts lazily to the side, a little grin pulling up one side of his mouth, and the sound of the neon feels like it's buzzing around the inside of Eddie's skull.

Am I the asshole for killing my fiance's Grandfather because I was nervous he would ruin my marriage?
My fiance (21) has a grandfather (85) who came to visit me in my castle recently because we're getting married. He seemed like a normal guy at first, but after a while i noticed he had strange habits.
He was singing Tiktoks, despite being old. He also looked really fucking old. and he smelled old. Besides, he wanted to live in the castle with me, but that's reserved for me and my fiance, and my son the beautiful egg, Richarlyson (1 month). So, so he would have a place to sleep, I made a prison in my dungeon for him and even asked for a list of items that he wanted. I did everything he asked for... made a TV. Built a cross for him to pray, a comfortable bed. and still he didn't seem happy with the situation, and told me he'd call my fiance to tell him i was putting him in a dungeon.
I've killed some people in the past, but i changed. But in that moment I lost control and realized that senior citizen was trying to ruin my marriage and by accident when I'd realized I saw i had stabbed him some times (16). but he survived. Thus, everything was fine. But then he threatened me with a chainsaw and told me he would stop my marriage. I love my fiance. When i was alone and no one was there for me, not even my son could be close to me because it was dangerous, he was there. We've been through tough times together and got through it all.
It won't be this person who I don't even know who will ruin this because I tried to kill them. So, I threw him from the veranda of my castle and stabbed him on the floor with a sword.
Am i the asshole for trying to save my wedding by killing my grandpa?

The Art Of Redemption - Timeline
Okay, so this isn't a timeline strictly for The Art of Redemption. It's more like a timeline for characters that appear in that story as well as in We Are Sugar Valentine, since the two are more than tangentially connected.
We Are Sugar Valentine is taking place in present day (2022-2024) and The Art of Redemption takes place in 2011-2012.
I noticed that several people may have been confused because I tend to jump around a lot between stories and also with random vignettes. It's all perfectly clear in my head, but since nobody else is living in my head, I thought a timeline of important events for all the major characters would help everyone make sense of it.

He is promising to deploy the military and deputize local police officers to round up millions of people, detain them in makeshift camps and then ship them off to other countries ― whether or not the destination is the person’s country of origin.
. . .
79% of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. have been living and participating in American communities for more than 15 years. They have married U.S. citizens, hold jobs that prop up their local and national economies and have children and grandchildren who are citizens. Ripping these people out of the country and away from their families will ripple through every community in the country.
. . .
This plan to tear communities apart will also ensnare U.S. citizens, green card holders and others here legally, either by accident or with intent. Trump and his advisers are already saying that’s what they’ll do.
Tom Homan, Trump’s former acting head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, was asked in a “60 Minutes” interview that aired Sunday whether there is a way that Trump’s mass deportation plan could remove undocumented people without separating them from their families.“Of course there is,” Homan said. “Families can be deported together.”
Tumblr media
There are currently 4.7 million mixed-status households in the U.S., according to the Center for Migration Studies. Among those households are 5.5 million U.S.-born children living with one undocumented household member and 1.8 million U.S.-born children living with two undocumented adults. In total, there are 9.7 million Americans who live in households with at least one undocumented resident.
Trump’s inspiration for his mass deportation program, President Dwight Eisenhower’s Operation Wetback, similarly resulted in the deportation of significant numbers of U.S. citizens to Mexico.
But none of those programs was of the scale or scope that Trump imagines. There are an estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S., according to the 2022 American Community Survey. Other surveys and estimates have found similar numbers. But Trump and his allies talk about deporting 20 million to 30 million people. There is no source for such a number. That would invariably mean targeting people with some kind of legal status, whether temporary or permanent.
“They seem to be gleefully suggesting that they would include people here with some legal status in these roundups,” said Matthew Lisieki, a senior research and policy analyst at the Center for Migration Studies, a think tank that focuses on global migration.
A deportation program that removes 11 million people or even more than 20 million would affect every single community in the country, invariably sweeping up even larger numbers of U.S. citizens and legal residents, taking them away from their families and putting them into jails, incarceration camps and, potentially, off to another country. As Homan’s answer on “60 Minutes” indicates, that’s a feature, not a bug.

I have started posting again, it’s magic!
I was not able to post (except for words) for 18 days. During that time we moved within the same condo community and our movers sent two trucks and a total of ten men during the move. First day they were here 11 hours, left came back the next day for three more hours. We can stand at the front door and look across the common and see our old unit. Then the moving company added $900.00 to my bill because it took so long! Had a big argument with them and got that removed, never use a company that gives estimates over the phone. Next, I drove to pick up a food take out and was involved in a traffic accident, the other driver made a right hand turn on a red light and ran into me. No one was hurt, police did a report and I picked up our food order. And tomorrow I have surgery. Now I am not blaming Tumblr for my problems, but Tumblr you are my therapy, posting and seeing other individuals comments and photos make a 78 year man very happy and make all the other stuff trivial. There are people in the world in harms way that break you heart, I wish their problems were as insignificant as mine. Thanks for allowing a senior citizen to rant, have a Great day!

“I can only compare their attack to ISIS,” Haim Regev, Israel’s ambassador to the European Union and NATO, told Foreign Policy from his office in Brussels. It was a reference to the hundreds killed and dozens more abducted—including women, children, and older people—when armed Palestinian militants infiltrated southern Israel early Saturday morning. The world must put pressure on Hamas to release Israeli hostages unconditionally, Regev said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for his part, promised to unleash fury. He called up 300,000 reservists and alluded to an imminent ground incursion. Netanyahu warned Gaza residents in Hamas areas to get out, as Israeli armed forces amassed at the de facto border with Gaza in preparation. Their ostensible mission, judging from the fiery statements of Israeli officials, will be to decapitate Hamas and definitively end the threat it poses to Israel.
But it’s less clear what that might mean in practice. Is Israel in a position to eliminate Hamas? Would it be sufficient to force Hamas’s leadership to leave Gaza? Would they have to be killed? Or is Hamas inevitably a permanent fixture of Palestinian politics, so long as there isn’t a permanent resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?
While Netanyahu may not admit it, he likely understands that Hamas has a lifeline in the form of its Israeli hostages. As long as Israeli citizens are in Hamas’s hands, Netanyahu will be under pressure to eventually negotiate their release. In 2011, the Israeli government released more than a thousand Palestinian prisoners in exchange for one Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit, captured by Palestinian militants who entered Israel through a tunnel.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, a senior Hamas leader said the group has captured enough Israelis to seek the release of all Palestinians in Israeli prisons. “What we have in our hands will release all our prisoners,” said Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy chief of Hamas’s political bureau. Al Jazeera reported that there are more than 5,000 Palestinians in Israeli jails. That includes 33 women and 170 minors, according to Addameer, a prisoners’ rights NGO.
According to a report first published by Xinhua, China’s state news agency, Qatar is mediating a deal between Israel and Hamas to get female Israeli hostages released in exchange for female Palestinian prisoners. “With U.S. support, Qatar is seeking to accomplish an urgent agreement,” an anonymous source told Xinhua. But thus far there is no official word on any such deal. So far, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have increased Israel’s leverage by arresting a senior Hamas leader, Muhammad Abu Ghali, the deputy commander of the southern division of Hamas’s naval force. They are also building pressure on Hamas’s leadership by blockading Gaza’s supply of food, fuel, and power.
Rescuing Israeli hostages is a priority for Israel, but that is only one of the many reasons holding Israel back from a definitive ground incursion that it has long contemplated and decided against. The Israeli security apparatus has long believed that decapitating Hamas will require far more than a one-off, short-term military operation, and a wider campaign presents a host of challenges to Israeli authorities. It was not an accident that Israel unilaterally decided to evacuate the strip in 2005, decades after occupying the territory in 1967.
Yet the pressure is high in Israel not just for retribution against Hamas but for some significant strategic victory. “Our civilians have been slaughtered,” retired Col. Eran Lerman, a former Israeli deputy national security advisor, told Foreign Policy. “We cannot live under this exterminatory threat.” Two years ago, in a previous conflagration between the IDF and Hamas, Lerman advocated a more cautious response. “Hamas’s capabilities must be destroyed but not to zero—that has been our idea,” Lerman told me then. “Iran and Hezbollah are the bigger threat, and we must remain focused on them.”
Even relatively liberal and peace-seeking Israelis are expressing a shift in perspective in the aftermath of Hamas’s latest attack. Its scale and brutality have shocked Israel and united the diverse and quarrelling political landscape, with many now seeking a permanent solution to Hamas. For many, this means removing the group entirely from its sanctuary in Gaza. Lerman said Israel can no longer allow Hamas in operate in Gaza, not after its recent “murderous attack” on the people of Israel. Regev, the ambassador, said Israel “cannot tolerate” such attacks.
Any ground incursion that seeks a permanent diminution of Hamas, however, requires not just going in but staying back and reoccupying the strip. Israel thus faces a dilemma. Without boots on the ground, it cannot stop Hamas, but being on the ground means not just spending vast sums of money to take responsibility for the Palestinians post-conflict but also inevitably losing a lot of lives on both sides.
As in the past, Israel can bomb buildings and other infrastructure in Gaza used by Hamas, such as its underground tunnel network. But events this week are proof of how such measures have been insufficient to deter Hamas from inflicting terrorism on Israel. To find and destroy capabilities not in sight and to decimate the leadership, the IDF would need to go inside Gaza—supported by intelligence and air power—and scour each neighborhood, every single home, in the highly contested strip. The humanitarian cost alone of such an undertaking could be enough to deter Israel.
Moreover, the sympathy that Israel has garnered this week, despite often being seen as an aggressor in the conflict reluctant to make concessions and find peace, might soon deplete if unarmed residents of Gaza have nowhere to go and die in droves in Israeli bombings. And an armed conflict inside a Palestinian territory that threatens the lives of its 2 million inhabitants could lead to a wider conflict with Iran or its proxy Hezbollah, which has already heeded Hamas’s call and launched a few attacks on Israel this week. It may even inflame passions on the dormant Arab street, forcing the hands of Israel’s new friends in the Islamic world to stand with fellow Muslims and against Israel.
There have been demonstrations in Bahrain, Morocco, Turkey, Yemen, Tunisia, and Kuwait. Two Israeli tourists were killed in Egypt. Abdul Majeed Abdullah Hassan, who joined a rally with hundreds of people in Bahrain, told the New York Times: “This is the first time that we rejoice in this way for our Palestinian brothers.” In the context of the Israeli occupation and blockade, the Hamas operation “warmed our hearts,” he said, calling his government’s participation in the Abraham Accords “shameful.”
A limited ground incursion could be one way out. Israelis could go in quickly and destroy current stockpiles and factories where large- to medium-sized rockets are built. But to make sure Hamas does not manufacture weapons in the future, the IDF would have to remain in Gaza. Hamas has time and again proved that it can adapt and build rockets in local workshops with products in daily use. For instance, it assembles crude but effective Qassam rockets with industrial metal piping and homemade fuel of potassium nitrate fertilizer and commercial explosives.
None of this should come as a surprise. It has always been true that unless the IDF is permanently stationed inside Gaza, Israel cannot contain Hamas’s threat effectively. In 2021, while I was researching Hamas’s capabilities, Michael Armstrong, an associate professor of operations research at Brock University in Canada who has written about the operational performance of weapons built by Hamas, told me that unless Israelis want to stay in Gaza and occupy it, he couldn’t really see how they could disarm Hamas.
Moreover, targeting Hamas members inside Gaza, where many people may support the group especially at a time like this, requires extremely good intelligence, which probably isn’t as readily available as Mossad’s folklore would have you believe.
Regev downplayed Israel’s intentions toward Hamas when speaking with Foreign Policy, describing them simply as “destroying their capabilities,” rather than occupying Gaza.
At the same time, however, it’s safe to assume that this time Israel isn’t bluffing. Even if hostages are released under an exchange, Hamas’s leadership faces a threat like never before. Some of its leaders are already in Lebanon and Qatar, while the group in the past has also operated from Turkey. More of its members might now be planning an escape as Israel’s counteroffensive intensifies.

Don't let Giovanni try redbull. Or monster. Or rockstar. Or any energy drink realy.
A rule of thumb within the Fatui ranks is to never give any of the Dottore's, the actual one or not, any sort of caffeine. Not only will they be bouncing off the walls for hours on end, but they will also likely cause another Archon war or diplomatic accident (depending on what they get their hands on first). This goes for all of them, including this evil little rat creature (affectionate), who is specifically banned from any sort of sugar or otherwise by Irnes, for the safety of the lab and everyone in it.
Pantalone has also specifically banned caffeine because of how jittery it makes the lot (they clearly don't listen) and has the occasional day that he shows up with enough tea to kill a man, all in little stylized cups he knows the clones love. Of course, he makes sure that Dottore doesn't burn himself while trying to drink the piping tea too fast, he has to take care of the senior citizen fulfilling his wishes after all. Meanwhile the clones are screaming in self-inflicted agony in the background trying to find cold water (or ice, which many learn the hard way that it shouldn't be applied to burned tongues). All in a day's work for the Regrator.
Irnes is on his fifth cup at that point and is spiraling. Tsaritsa forbid he actually gets a moment's silence in this house.
