A Little Update

Angels,

I know I haven’t posted any new fics in a while, but I’ve been going through some mental health things lately and haven’t been in the mood to do much writing. 😢

Dealing with all these things has led me to the decision to CLOSE/STOP requests at this time. I have over 50 requests in my asks/saved on word doc. I have rough drafts for at least half of them, but there is still a lot more to do and some requests I just haven’t found inspiration to write for. Some are quite detailed and sometimes its harder to write those. I’m still going to try to write for all the ones I have answered saying that I would write, (I can’t promise anything though) but I also want to focus on my own ideas and get back to feeling creative and writing from within me and not from someone else’s vision. Not that I haven’t enjoyed the requests and some ideas that have been sent my way, have made my fingers soar across the keyboard, but right now I feel its more of a weight over my head that I can’t shake off or get passed. It feels like its limiting my creativity and passion. Something I never want to lose!

Anyone who hasn’t had their request answered or seen it on my blog, I’m sorry but I won’t be writing your fic or even saving the idea to my word doc to write later. I don’t want to turn them away, some ideas sounded fun and I’ve always felt bad even thinking of rejecting any idea, but at this point I have to do what’s best for me. Maybe in the New Year I’ll open the requests again. But for now my requests are closed and I will NOT be accepting them, even if you send them in to my request/inbox. If you have sent a request and not received a reply, I really do hope you find someone to write your vision for you! ����🥺🥺

That being said, I love the holidays too much to let a season go by without at least one fic! So, while I haven’t been writing lately, I do hope to spend this whole week writing, editing and fixing some Halloween fics 🎃🎃🎃 I won’t mention how many fics I’m working on for it, as I don’t want to make false promises at this point, but for sure at least 1 is coming your way 🙈😂. And hopefully a lot more random ones after that.
