SELF-SHIPPING TEMPLATES!

Greetings, fellow self-shippers and self-inserters! I come bearing templates!

Templates are fun, and I wanted to make templates that everybody and anybody can use. No DNI on these babies (though I ask you tag appropriately if mentioning darker topics, for the sake of filtering), and credit is appreciated but not required!

I've presented three colour schemes here in both stylised and legible fonts, but if you'd like a different colour, just pop it into your editing application and play around with the hue!

If you are unfamiliar with the terms or what I mean by them, "sharing" refers to whether you are comfortable with other people who self-ship with your F/O interacting, and "roleplay" refers to whether you're comfortable with people sending asks or interacting as your character, or anything else that involves roleplay. And, F/O means "fictional other," referring to whoever you are shipping yourself with! 😊

Fill these out and edit them however you like, and remember to have fun!!

“Hello, Grey,” she smiles, feeling the warmth of connection to her commander and her troops fill her chest.

“Hello, Depa,” he replies, equally as warm and the exhaustion is starting to unravel from her muscles.

“I still don’t understand what this has to do with sparkling wine,” Commander Cody states.

“Compound butter,” Quinlan and Commander Fox groan back in different levels of exasperation.

“You gotta understand,” Grey starts again and Depa’s attention snaps away from what she has thought were ancient methods on ice cream churning, “the first command batches are, genetically speaking, not that far off from the template. So they regrettably really are like this if left to their own devices.”

Depa had met Jango Fett face to face exactly once. With the Galaxy unraveling by the second, their fight had boiled down to a lot of rain and the heart stopping, heart breaking introduction of the clones, but she can very well remember the armor peaking out like neon colored evidence as Jango had explained his humble life in a state of the art cloning facility on a planet that did not exist.

“It explains a lot,” she allows.

What roles are there available?: In the Lanling Golden Institute you can be the following: a professor, a student, a tutor, a librarian, a student counselor, part of a fraternity, part of a sorority, and much more!

How does the living situation work out for certain people?: The university offers two main sets of dormitories (Block A and Block B) as well as mentioned above the Sorority and Fraternity houses. Faculty and staff by default live in Block B and below is more in-depth info on the dorm situation: Block A: Shared dormitories, these dorms are much more spacious than Block B dorms, whoever, walls are paper thin and no pets are allowed due to potential allergy risks. You will get a roommate assigned randomly and you will be stuck with them for the remaining of your stay. (think of it like a signed lease agreement) Block B: Private dormitories, these tend to be slightly smaller but that is only because they are realistically designed for one person. Pets are allowed, however you will need to pay a monthly pet rent fee and submit an application beforehand to Dean Jin Guangshan. You also have to apply for a living space here and application approvals tend to vary. Baizhan Brotherhood: The Baizhan Brotherhood Fraternity is a unruly, righteous, and dominant fraternity that does not take well to outsiders; especially those who do not come from wealth. Their main focus is to make college fun and a unforgettable experience by hosting the most memorable parties known to campus. However because of their elitist attitude only those who are friends with or invited by one of the members can attend and can bring a plus one. (you must send an application to join this , pets are allowed) Silver Butterflies: The Silver Butterflies Sorority is a mellow, down to earth, and accepting sisterhood that's main focus is building long term friendships and self improvement! Their acceptance rates are high and they are always looking for new friends to join. However due to being a sorority they are not allowed to host parties. (you must send an application to join this, pets are allowed)

What else does the campus offer and are there things to do outside of campus? Lanling Golden Institute also offers a fully equipped and remodeled auditorium with a performance stage, a band room, an art room, and a dance room for those students who want to pick up any extra curricular activities, there is also a library located in the center of campus. As for what you can do outside of campus, yes; Located 10 minutes away from campus is the heart of the city and there are many places students and faculty alike can spend time in, pick up a part time job in, or preform in. Options like a nightclub, a pub, a cafe, a beach, a park, a restaurant, and much more are available. The campus also offers special school events such as homecoming, sports events, plays, concerts, etc.

How does this work in terms of roleplaying? In the server there will be: a roster (a list of what role each character has for example: Jin Guangshan — Dean) , a character list that shows you which characters are open, pending and taken. (keep in mind after one week of inactivity or of having your character in a pending state due to waiting on a submission you character will go back into a open status), a claim channel (where you can claim the characters or drop any characters you feel you may be inactive with) and the submission channels (there is one for OC's and one for Canon, there is a attached template on both; you just out the form). Since we started not that long ago the majority of the roles are still available and the list is up to date. Once you pick a character, send over their submission, choose a room, and get situated there is a global group chat where students and faculty alike message on there daily this will be your main roleplay starter and how you seek out to RP with someone. Afterwards you can either start a private chat with someone's character, or even go visit them. The roleplay style is third person and semi literate to literate. We do use Tupperbox to roleplay if you are not familiar with the bot no worries, there is a linked tutorial on attached in the server.

hi! I’ve been following this blog for a while and tbh I think it’d be really fun to organize my own version of a free printable zine, but I’m not sure where I’d start lol. Any advice from what yall have learned?

Honestly, just start! Put together a little website or homebase, and make sure you have the essentials like submission guidelines, a bit about you as the editor, and explanation for what the zine is and why it exists, what you're hoping it will become. Figure out how you will take submissions (email? google form?) and put that in an easy to find location on your home base, and then see if you can get enough submissions to make your first zine! I find it's useful to be transparent about how/when you plan to communicate with any submitters.

It took us several months for our first edition that was open to the public to reach enough submissions to publish, and even then it was pretty slim. But we made our presence known both on social media and on Chill Subs which is where the majority of our literature submissions come from. In order to build a base of folks that submit, we connected with people who are involved in the chicken community. We talk about it in our personal lives to whoever will listen (I've gotten about half a dozen of my irl acquaintances to either submit or promise to submit in the future). I put COOP in my bio when I submit my stuff to other publications.

And then when we have enough submissions, I put them all in a little publication, using a template that I made once and didn't really have to make again (although I may have to when Microsoft Publisher dies in like 2 years or something 😭) I already felt confident in my document design and formatting abilities so that part was pretty easy.

Then we publish it to the site and let everyone know they should read it!

Each part felt like its own project:

- coming up with central idea

- building website and submission form (and maintaining them)

- establishing social media

- continuing to be active on it, or at least on tumblr. this is probably what takes up the most of my time

- going through submissions

-sending acceptance and rejection letters

- formatting and editing the document

- publishing and announcing the edition

- building a newsletter and using it to make announcements

-each special edition or special feature is its own little (or big) project

and we're always thinking of new things to try in each of these categories. we'll never be perfect which means there's always room for improvement (like when we transferred from a free site to our own domain, for example)!

Pontiferous would NEVER put a lover's name on himself because in fae etiquette that would be like taking ownership of someone permanently, and that's a little too far for him.

fall for a scam: Pontiferous has almost NO digital/telephone "street smarts", but since he's usually surrounded by royal advisors or Beej(a professional scam artist), He's safe enough from wiring all his money to whoever asks nicely.

beat up someone who was mean to their s/o: both of them certainly WOULD, but Beej is more willing to use his trickster powers on a dime to amuse himself and/or on anyone who inconveniences him/Ponti. He often just starts messing with people just to make Pontiferous laugh(which works). If Ponti were to administer karmic justice onto someone being rude to his Bug(Beetlejuice), the person being rude better enjoy their new existence as a box of chocolate dipped cockroaches set on Beej's beside table. pushing Pontiferous to this point a bit harder though.

send an illicit text to the wrong person: Pontiferous is a very steamy romantic but TERRIBLE at managing his phone contacts. He has a line outside his bedroom of fairies who got the wrong text but would like to have a word with the prince if they may be so bold ;3 . Beej can barely get his phone to turn on with his greasy fingers, so he just writes Very Formal Emails on his ancient PC (because he's been a bio-exorcist for so long he has cracked getting messages to the people they're meant to get to. He's got a website and form letters and everything ooOOoh, web designer moment.)

Drink too much: Beej enjoys drinking more, and Pontiferous LOVES to spurn him on so he can see how much Beej can put away before he starts committing property damage. Also Beej is a Cocktails enjoyer, whereas Ponti enjoys drinks with alcohol added as a bonus flavor(eg: whiskey coffee, Bailys hot cocoa).

Forget an anniversary: Beetlejuice doesn't even realize that they have an anniversary(he hesitates to think they're even dating) and Pontiferous is too "polite" (read: cowardly) to remind him. but he has the exact date and time written in a book to give to Beej when they both eventually assert that they are indeed dating.

Burn the kitchen down when cooking: Beetlejuice, but make no mistake it is PART OF HIS RECIPE. he has a PLAN do NOT get in the way.

Apologizes first: Pontiferous is the king of over-apologizing, usually just to get people to shut up and because he needs to be thought of as polite, but. He's tired of being nice. He wants to go ape shit. Beej enables this.

Initiates a kiss: at any given moment, Pontiferous may need to be tied down to keep him from making out sloppy style with that freak for 6 solid hours. his advisors are so tired of his ass, why does he want that one???

🥀 - do you keep track of your alter count? how do you do so?

So!! We use 3 different things for managing alter info, and then one separately. 📓 is our archivist and he is!! Bonkers /j.

First he uses simply plural for the custom field feature, and the layout of the app. He has a shit ton of custom fields put in for anything you can reasonably think of for an alter. Then, he uses Pluralkit because we have a system discord. Theres a template he made that we r going to upload soon. THEN in the system discord has an even longer version of the template he made (that cant be used in pk bc of the length). On top of it all, we have a notion journal with all the same shit + personal journals. Why did he do that to himself? /j lh/ No, but those are the three ways we manage to keep track of alters. Not all of them are uploaded, and furthermore, not all of them are uploaded in all of the places. We try to keep our simply plural for the bulk of it.

Other apps we use as a system that dont keep track of alters, but we find helpful regardless:

- Mindly: A mind mapping app that is pretty user friendly/easy to use. Not a super high learning curve imo, but it can be confusing upon initial use. If u are any flavor of polyfragmented, it may be harder to keep track with the free feature. We have 3 separate mind maps for the 3 separated areas in our system.

- Calm Harm: We have a horrible self harm addiction 😃 this app tho? It helped a ton in our beginning days of stopping. We don’t SH as much anymore bc of coping™️ but its still helpful for alters who cant control the urge as well as the others.

- UpWord: Its a notes app that can be locked via a passcode. It also has a built in reminders feature. We use it for keeping track of body info, extra info, routines, and general alter stuff. Its become pretty obsolete for us because of the onslaught of programs 📓 uses, but it keeps track of stuff for us still. It has a $4 upgrade to change the colors, remove ads, and more. Id say only purchase it if you end up liking it and using it more than other apps. It’s worth it imo, but if ur broke like me and $4 is a lot, hold off until you use it.

- Selftalking: one of those back and forth, self chat apps. I find it easier to use than Antar (which i still don’t know how to use to this day), but you’ll probably have to make the convos as needed, as opposed to making them all and having alters search their name,,, but it does have a search function if needed. We found the search function helpful. It is, undoubtedly, super ugly from an app design standpoint, and its not entirely user friendly. The ads are incredibly annoying as well, but its a much worth it $1 purchase imo.

📻 - do you experience amnesia?

Yes, but most of it is drug related these days I think (as 🎸, the addiction holder). We’ve been working on functional multiplicity for a while so (day to day) memory sharing is getting easier, but we have a lot of what our therapist calls “cold switches” where theres usually hesitance or stubbornness or any negative emotion that leads to the switch being more disorienting and heightened amnesia. Its like,, idk hard to explain?? Most of the time theres about 9-10 of us front at any given point. Its actually really annoying to have so many of us front and then our amnesia STILL sucks. Like imagine you switch w/ the dude next to you in front and there being complete amnesia between the two until prev dude briefs him on whats been happening.

The way our front works, whoever fronts the frontest (lol) usually has less access to the innerworld, usually forgets what they were doing on the innerworld, they also usually forget what we were doing in a time range of,,, 30min - 3/4 hours, and thats if they are cofront. We’ve had alters who when cocon can remember all this shit but when they front they forget a bulk of it. It’s weird, but we’re working on it.

Just like a pet dog, he needs to be close to you at all times. He's always pawing at you, needing your attention. If anything, YOUR affections spark his affections.

Friendships don't come too easily to Rowan, but once youve proven your trust, he's pretty great, fiercely loyal.

Yes! And as I've said before, it's more death grips haha, man loves a cuddle.

He'd have no problem settling down if it was for the right perosn. Unfortunately he's no "domestic goddess" he's messy and he doesn't cook, because his diet doesn't require cooking.

Rowan can fall in love very quickly depending, and he would have no issue dropping the L bomb when he feels it.

Very jealous, he wouldn't handle it well. He'd take himself off for a while, then, whoevers making him jealous is going to GET it.

Rowan isn't good around small children, they make him antsy.

Mornings for Rowan are actually pretty eventful. He prefers to hunt very early mornings, so he's usually up and out very early to do that.

That totally depends on where he is. If he's somewhere with you, he likes to relax (and other things) but if he's at the Den, he's usually either fighting or enjoying the activities there.

I mean, once he feels a little comfortable with you, he'll tell you anything.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Short fuse, he gets irritated and angry easily and its not pretty.

Oh, he'll remember EVERYTHING about a person.

This is hard to answer, but I think his favourite part would be building up trust in those early days, like him realising that you're legit and genuine would be a big thing to him.

EXTREMELY protective..And you already know exactly how he'd protect you.

A lot, once he's got you, he wouldn't wanna lose you, so he'd really try his best to keep you.

Messy in general, in most things. Getting wound up too easily, some could say acting TOO animalistic in his human form at times could be a bad trait too.

Though Rowan doesn't NEED a full moon to transform, and can transform at will at any given time. When there IS a full moon, he prefers to be out in the woods in his wolf form, its just his thing, it's what he does.

For his events, President Biden's staffers prepare a short document with large print and photos that include his precise path to a podium, according to an event template the White House sends to staffers.

Why it matters: Since the June 27 debate, some Democrats who've attended and helped set up Biden events have wondered whether his team's focus on minute details were to obscure the 81-year-old president's limitations — rather than just a reflection of a meticulous staff.

"I staffed a simple fundraiser at a private residence, but they treated it like it was a NATO summit with his movements," according to a person who staffed a Biden event in the past 18 months.

Driving the news: Before a presidential event, the White House sends event staffers a document to emulate when preparing their own materials for the president.

One template — a copy of which was obtained by Axios — is short and simple, with one large picture of the event space on each page, accompanied with big text such as: "View from podium," and "View from audience."

In the five-page document, two pages are separate pictures of, "Walk to podium."

The staffer who helped with the fundraiser told Axios: "It surprised me that a seasoned political pro like the president would need detailed verbal and visual instructions on how to enter and exit a room."

A White House official told Axios: "If individuals are not accustomed to seeing advance teams work, that would be a common reaction, whoever the principal is."

Two former aides who worked with Biden during his vice presidency said that at that time his preparation documents were different, and more often relied on site diagrams.

Reality check: Organizing presidential events — often called "advance work" — is intensive and detail-focused for every commander-in-chief.

Presidential movements are planned down to every footstep in ways that the movements of a vice president often are not.

Advance documents also have evolved since Biden was vice president, including the increased use of smartphone photographs.

Other prominent principals in the Biden administration use similar methods for plotting his movements, sources told Axios.
