the last panel of the recent comic (with ace and tage eating the fruit) - is it me, but does the scream bubbles with the "gibberish" on them look like they're letters on top of each other? Does it say Sabo?

While I would normally try to sneak in something like that, this is just gibberish :) I changed these text bubbles several times bc I couldn’t decide what to put in them but these were also options- the one on the right was directly from the Japanese copy I have of the Ace novel volume 1 lmao. I scrapped the one on the left because I wasn’t sure my way of panicking (shouting shit repeatedly) matched how ace would react.

In the end I figured that since this is from Tage’s perspective, he might not actually be picking up coherent words from Ace’s shouting given the ptsd,,, so I hoped to convey both tage’s mental state and Ace’s panic through the gibberish

it’s crazy to me that the hawkins family photos insta account hasn’t been clocked by netflix or the duffers when that account has thousands of followers posting high def pics where you obviously have to be near or on the set to capture them, but when we wanted the official scripts from that guy that would post scripts for MULTIPLE SHOWS FOR YEARS, he was taken care of with a swiftness 😭😭

i’m not saying hawkins family photos needs to be taken down. i’m just saying that it’s interesting they didn’t want us to see those scripts from episodes we’ve already seen, but high def pics where like obviously ppl who work on set would potentially see the person taking pics of season 5 is just going about their day???? nahhh something was in those scripts that was legit. something was in there they didn’t want us to see i swear. they told us those scripts were fake but idk something’s fishy 🤨🧐

As of last Friday, I turned 23 and I can’t help thinking about how that makes me older than approximately 75% of the dsmp members when they first joined the server. But most importantly, it makes me older than when Dream escaped prison and that is wild to think about.

Oh and weirdly, 23 is also the number of Quackity and Dream torture scenes I’ve posted. That’s like roughly 28% of Quackity’s visits. Wtf…

i’m sitting on a ton of fanmixes that i’ve made over the past two years, and i can’t decide in which order to draw covers and post them, so i’ve decided to ask your opinion! (+ i decided to share these because of this very kind anon ask!! thank you!)

my fanmixes are narrative-based playlists of music that follow an already-established story by sapkowski or a canon-compliant plot or character development which i headcanon for them. each of these fanmixes is about a specific character, dynamic, or setting from the witcher book series; if you want an example of what my fanmixes are like, here’s a link to some i’ve already posted. (note how, when i post a fanmix, under a read-more i go through all the lyrics of each song and explain how they relate to the story/character/dynamic!)

every fanmix listed on this poll is already complete, each has between 12 and 26 songs

i tried to hint at the feel of each playlist by listing the decade(s) and genre(s) they pull from, but note that the mixes usually have a few outlier songs from another decade or genre, and are not strictly composed of only what is listed, it’s just to give you an idea

the results of this poll will determine which order i publish them in (most votes = published first, least votes = published last), but i will be publishing them all at some undecided point in the future

phew I got the tutoring job! huge relief, especially as I just narrowly avoided overdrawing my bank account when my rent payment went through 🫠 I still have about $1500 in medical bills to pay off in installments but I am sloooowly getting closer to being able to put money away again. I’m not sure I can really afford this weights class in the long term but I feel like gym classes are kind of on the same level as buying healthy food—both are expensive but they feel like justifiable expenses for health/well-being reasons. I’ll try out this two-month package I bought and see how I feel at the end of it.

okay let’s think about the day. I do want to go back and add two more slides to my slide deck (one definitions slide and one sample CS project, maybe the AI ethics or psych/CS one) then just quickly run through the whole thing, but I think it’s basically done. I also want to go for a 40 min walk since I won’t be home until after dark. let’s see how about this:

7-9 coffee, lounge, work emails

9-10 walk dogs

10-10:30 shower/get ready

10:30-11:15 add two additional slides, email slide deck to the professor, make breakfast and pack a late lunch?

11:15-11:45 get dressed but also hmm think a bit about this website stuff…

12:15-1 prep for website mtg + librarians mtg

1-1:30 class presentation
