I watched Avengers: Age of Ultron (apart from I skipped some overly long action sequences) and I am not sure so can someone tell me whether or not Tony Stark was the baddy in that film? OK WELL OK SO i have a bad habit of answering the door and then i'm too polite because i get stuck in the cycle of mimicking and i also have no spine

so one day this guy came to the door and he was like "are you registered to vote" which now that i think about it there wasn't an election on but i was like "oh no i don't think i am" and he said "i can register you no worries!!"

so i gave him my full name and my date of birth and then my national insurance number and he went "haha that's a nice easy one to remember" and i was like "it is!!" and i was excited that someone had noticed because i always think that!!

and then my husband came home and i was SO proud of myself like "hey guess what i'm registered to vote now so that's one less problem" and he was like "how did you do that?" because i don't like doing online forms usually without someone there to watch me and i was like "a man did it at the door" and he said "what man?" and i said "... the man" and he asked what credentials the man had and i said he had a lanyard and a clipboard and an ipad and my husband was like "... i have a lanyard and a clipboard and an ipad"

so now i'm not really supposed to open the door and tell people things about myself :3

Better grades equals a better chance at getting a scholarship directly from your chosen college/university, which means paying less out of your own pocket. But yeah...this is why the "broken college student" is such a trope in U.S. media. And why burnout in high school students is so prevalent. So fun :) I love it here :)

😭 that sucks omg. college students are broke here too but it's much easier to get your tuition fully paid off by the state. and even if u pay your own tuition it's... comparatively not as insane amount of money as in america. like yeah i fully wouldn't be able to afford it because i'm broke but looking at THOSE numbers it's practically nothing. what the fuckkkk i'm so sorry for you guys
