Chaos Theory Update

It is that time again! Between editing parts for Rebirth I am mapping out the next arc for Chaos Theory! I am so excited to get back to this story. It has been on hold since my plane ride in December 2022. Lots of Seiya and Usagi parts to write. If they thought they had some challenges with their relationship before, they haven't seen anything yet!

Story will continue exactly where Act 60: Together we'll fight to the End left off. It will not be very action packed at the beginning while the storyline is being set up. First new arc is more drama than action for most of the arc which will set up the second arc, tons of action.

I can't wait to go back to writing this later in the year after I have a more concrete road map! Too many pages of scattered notes and half thought out scenes.

Hello there! I reblogged your Taiki/Usagi fic, and it was so cute!! It kind of reminds me of the fanfic National Physical Academy by Ash-X7, with the sunset scene! Anyways, I was wondering, do you think you could do a Yaten/Usagi fic? Thanks again for the great Taiki/Usagi fanfic! Oh and the part where Taiki repeats that it was Usagi who picked their activity was nice! You write really well!

If Reki doesn't turn his Crabcake novel into a Yujikiri Slow Burn then WHAT'S THE POINT...Like, no offense its a neat story but I think 80% of the readers are here for the bromance LOL it's kinda undeniable Reki. But he'd make big bucks if he'd wrote that! Cakeverse is probs the best place for them to develop too, considering they've spent more years together in here and progress with Alice is slow. Heck, they don't even have to end up together Reki I just want some acknowledgement.

OK joke aside more or less I'm on a weird sentimentality of "it's ok if my ship is not canon" because I'm old, probably like in old fandoms we can ship non-canon ships even if there is already a canon ship and also because many hate the way those ships were made canon like Harry/Ginny, SeiUsa, Tamahome/Miaka etc. I didn't know when fandoms started to revolve around "making my ship canon" that devolve to ship wars (like why not just... make AUs and have fun? It's ok to have fun, YujiKiri Japanese fandom manage to create a fuck tons of AU fanarts that's a great example), and also when a ship is canon the fanworks weirdly die down and we have to dig old fics for the time the ship try to have 1st kiss. No offense to fans, you can send it to Reki actually, especially when in the past he wrote an AU where Kirito marries all the girls... (P/S: nah please don't, it's not good to bother official account over shipping)

Chaos Theory Act 61

I am so excited to post the new chapter for this arc.

For those of you keeping track of the snippets at the end of Rebirth, this one is featured in today's chapter. “You mean you didn’t know they were together?” It was slightly modified. This chapter also features the full scene from the SeiUsa Week 2023 short for "Dating a Teen Idol".

The next chapter will be out on January 6, 2024 because these first couple chapters are still really rough and I really need to examine what foreshadowing will be used to lead up to the heart of this arc that inspired the continuation of this story. I need extra time to edit and I'm stilling writing chapters and mapping out the later ones. It is a process! I'm trying not to rush the storyline and set everything up for what is to come. Thank you for your patience!

Chaos Theory Act 61 Teaser

Sneak Peak from Act 61. The entire 60 pages or so will be posted on Friday, December 1st.

This is the not the final edit so it might change slightly.

“I’m fine,” Sailor Cosmos assures him. “I needed to leave for a little while, to clear my head.”

Seiya knows it could only mean one thing. “You had a nightmare.”

Sailor Cosmos nods her head.

Before she can say anything else, Seiya pulls her close to him and hugs her tightly. “I’m sorry you’re struggling so much.” He is going to have words with Sailor Pluto the next time he sees her. This has gone on for too long.

“I’ll be okay,” she tries to assure him. “I ran into some of the Moon Senshi. They seem to be okay.”       

Seiya nods his head. “I’m worried about you Odango.”

“I’m fine now,” Sailor Cosmos pulls away slightly to smile at him. She reaches up to adjust his tie. “You look like you have to run out to some events.”

“Yeah…” Seiya grumbles. “I’m sorry,” he apologizes. “There are a lot today and I won’t be able to see you until after the concert.”

Sailor Cosmos nods. “I understand. The pitfall of being a popular idol, huh?” She teases him.

“You know it,” he winks at her. “But I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of questions today after yesterday’s announcement.” He pauses. “I feel like I’m forgetting something.” He shrugs and then leans over to kiss Sailor Cosmos before heading out. “I’ll see you later tonight.”

Sailor Cosmos nods her head. Seiya turns to leave. Her eyes fall on an object on the dresser. She walks over to it, staring at it for a moment. She had seen it before but usually not up this close. “Do you always leave your Change Star in the hotel room?” She asks pointing to his transformation item.

Seiya immediately checks his pockets and discovers they are empty. “That is what I was forgetting.”

Sailor Cosmos picks up the Change Star to pass it Seiya. She barely picked up the item from the dresser when the pearl ring on her left pinky finger flashed brightly on its own. She gasps loudly as her mind is bombarded with hundreds of images.

Chaos Theory Act 63

Sorry no snippets in this part either because I ended up splitting the chapter in half. I did not want another 20,000 word part. Usagi and Seiya finally talk face to face. I hope you enjoy the rest of the backstory.

The next chapter will be out on February 10th, the weekend before Valentine's Day. I'm trying to get a little further out ahead in the writing process and will be finishing Act 65 tonight, so close to being done!

I will be participating in Sailor Moon Rarepair week as well in March. Right now it looks like 6 out of 7 stories will be in the Chaos Theory world. Not all of them will be Seiya and Usagi.

Chaos Theory Act 62

Usagi will have some answers after what she seen at the end of the last Act. Is she going to like them?

Next act will be posted on January 20th. The wait will be a lot shorter this time. Thank you for all your patience while I sorted out the roadmap for most of this arc. Mapped out up to Act 70 including "the scene" that inspired the continuation of Chaos Theory. Taking a break from mapping things out to go back to writing since I'm a fraction through Act 65 and somehow ended up with around 70 pages of notes. Plus editing the later chapters. Mapped out 5 acts in December, huge success! I also need to figure out how everything is going to play out after Act 70... emotions are going to be all over the place.

My goal is to finish writing the 5th arc by the end of the year.
