“What do we have here?” He sounded almost too excited to see the god again. Smirking widely he tilted his head to the side stuffing his hands into the pockets. “What are you doing back here? Missed me too much?” He teased raising an eyebrow.

mobius got a chance to see an alternate TVA the last couple weeks and, to say the least . . . he has new friends but he misses home. very badly.

The Fires of War

There had been so much death and destruction over the duration of the war between her people and the Asgardians. Many men and women lay dead or dying on both sides because of it. An already dying race struggling for the hopes of being seen as equal to the beings that had hunted them for sport, seeing them as no more than beasts.

The war needed to end, and if both sides kept pushing, there would be nothing left of either realm. She had tried to convince her father that it wasn't worth it, that they could flee and find elsewhere to settle, but he shot that suggestion down quickly as he did with all her other suggestions.

To him, a princess should be 'seen and not heard' the being seen part lessened more with each day as she remained in her room, being left alone for the most part. She spent what time she had free, tending to the injured with the healing abilities she had gained from her mother, or going out to fly, to clear her head of worries and anger. It was on one of her flights that she had seen guards dragging in a new prisoner from the battlefield, though she also saw many men and women of her own people being dragged back, either dead or injured. She knew she would have her work cut out for her, so the thought of the prisoner was quickly gone from her mind until a few weeks later when she heard the guards talking about 'breaking' them.

A part of her wanted to forget what she had heard the guards saying, but another part of her was nagging to go and see what they were talking about. She worried what condition this prisoner would be in as she knew the guards that kept the dungeon were none too friendly. So, she decided to sneak down to the cold, dark location, using back ways and secret passages that had long been forgotten by everyone else. She kept a cloak wrapped around her as she walked, hood kept over her head just in case she was seen.

She managed to snag the keys from one of the guards that passed by, just in case she would need them to get into the cell and help, depending on how bad the prisoner was injured. Not many of the cells were occupied, as her father wasn’t one to keep prisoners unless they had use to him. It didn’t take her all too long to find the cell that the prisoner was in. The sight was….well, it made her sick. She took a few steps back at the sight, having to hold back tears. Not even an Asgardian deserved this. No one did. As much as she hated the pain that his kind had caused for the gryphons, she couldn’t let him go through this.

Loki has left a snake in Thor's bedroom. Nothing else. The prank is that there is no prank. Thor will surely spend hours expecting one to appear. Truly dastardly. @seidrsson

He was mildly startled by the snake in his room. He loves snakes but why was this one here? Looking around, he searched his whole room for anything else. He knew this was Loki's doing and there was more to come and he felt on edge waiting for it but it had been hours and nothing else was happening. "I know this is your doing, Loki!" He shook his fist in the air.

this was quite unexpected, and mobius blinked several times at loki with no idea what to say because it’s - did he even think pregnancy in the tva was possible?? time didn’t move, no one aged, and yet here they are and loki’s pregnant and holy crap loki’s pregnant they’re gonna have a baby! the grin that spreads over his face is enormous and before loki can do or say anything else mobius has his arms around them, hugging them close, and when he pulls back it’s to take their face in his hands so he can kiss all over it.

“ we’re having a baby! we’re -- were’ really doing this! this is fantastic! i’m so excited i already want to go buy baby things and clothes and toys -- ”

it’s possible he’s being too hyperactive about the whole deal but can anyone blame him? more importantly, can anyone calm him down? no.

Fitting first words to come from your soulmate, that’s what Mobius always thought. The moment he had seen the words first appear, he had ran his finger over them, his mind racing at the thought of just who might be his soulmate and how exactly they had met. He would make up scenarios in his head - sometimes it would just be a simple meeting in a coffeeshop, other times it would be more extraordinary. 

What he hadn’t imagined was it being in the court of the TVA, in front of Ravonna. Or that it was Loki. The Loki, God of Mischief that he had read over the files over many a time. He’d almost smirked when he had heard him, shaking his head a little. As they made their way out of the court and along the corridor, he’d scoffed as Loki threatened to burn the place to the ground.

“I can show you where my desk is, you can start there.”

An eyebrow raiser first before her entire face light up. There were so many features of her father that she inherited—displaying them with bright. But, most of it was this reflection of light, much as Loki described. Hell, it even brought up the nickname she’s had her entire life.

When your parents have referred to you as something as bright as sunshine for your entire life, you end up believing them.

“I—uh, thank you. He’s definitely…he raised me well, that’s for sure.” Even in the small amount of time that he had, it still remained an immovable impact. Everything of who she is…is because of her parents. “When I was…eleven…I..learned all about mythology in school and I convinced myself that…my father was Apollo. And that’s why he had to leave because he had responsibility to take care of before he return.” It was the only explanation a child could conjure in such an extreme circumstance. “It doesn’t get brighter than him.”

Yes the small casual touches had a plan to begin with. To earn the god’s trust and to make Mobius seem approachable. But now? Now it was just natural to pat Loki’s shoulder or place a hand on his back. Something he actually found himself to quite enjoy.

Taking the opportunity to slap the god’s ass he’d taken the chance and then walked off like nothing happened. It was only when Loki caught up he slowed down slipping his hands into the pockets of his trousers.

“Hm?” He looked innocently up at Loki as they mentioned Mobius’s name in a scolding manner. He hadn’t done anything. He was totally and utterly innocent.

Hearing the mortal gasp only  made Thor laugh. He shifted him to make it more comfortable. “I forget how fragile you mortals are!” Searching out, he found an open door and entered the room, scanning it to see that it was empty. Setting Mobius down on his feet, he then closed the door and made sure it was locked.
