i think i'm gonna wait to see if seg-el and lyta(?) are canon before watching the show, i don't wanna get attached to a ship that ends up dying

i mean i think they’re gonna be the big thing of the show? wallis keeps liking stuff about nyssa vex being interested in women and when she rt-ed the “team vex” thing cameron was confused af which was adorbs but STILL. seg and lyta got a whole segment pre show about how theyre romeo and juliet in space and like the thing is... we know things don’t end well for the els and the zods, that’s why i think seg and lyta is so interesting? because it’s going to end badly, even if the two of them do make it. that’s tragedy for you

Seg/Lyta now's the only time we've got

“stop,” she says as he kisses her moments upon stepping into her room, taking her by surprise. she holds her hands up, making him step back, letting go of her completely. “can i have a moment to breathe, please?”

“sorry,” seg mumbles, embarrassed. “this just the only time we have, before the wedding. i thought we could spend it, well–” he lifts his eyebrows, tilting his head. lyta laughs.

“we’ll get there,” she says, tugging on his hand and pulling him towards her bed, sitting down on the soft mattress and urging him to follow (which he does). “let’s just… go slow. we have hours yet, before you leave. we should spend them wisely, not jump right in.”

“okay,” seg says. “i guess i thought we’d just get it over with, and spend the remaining hours… together.” lyta smiles.

“you can say spooning, seg,” she says. “it will not make you any less of a man.” seg blushes. “i understand. but you do want this to be pleasurable for both of us, yes?” seg sighs.

“yes, ma’am,” he says. lyta giggles.

“good,” she says, before she urges him to scoot back, only to gently push him onto his back and throw a leg over his waist, straddling him. “now we can get started. but slowly.” seg smiles, nods and lyta smiles back, leaning down to kiss him.

in the morning, they will come for seg to whisk him away, off to his bride-to-be nyssa. but for now, with lyta, it feels like he has all the time in the world.
